Azután Isten lelke felindította Azarjáhút, Ódéd fiát,

És Azáriást, az Obed fiát felindítá az Isten lelke:

And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded:

Duhul lui Dumnezeu a venit peste Azaria, fiul lui Oded,

The Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded,

aki Ászá elé lépett, és azt mondta: Hallgassatok meg engem, Ászá s egész Júda és Benjámin! Az ÚR veletek lesz, ha ti is vele lesztek. Ha őt keresitek, megtaláljátok; de ha elhagyjátok, ő is elhagy titeket.

A ki Asa elé lépett, és monda: Hallgassatok meg engem, Asa s egész Júda és Benjámin! Az Úr van veletek, ha ti is ő vele lesztek; ha őt keresénditek, megtaláljátok; de ha őt elhagyándjátok, ő is elhágy titeket.

And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.

şi Azaria s-a dus înaintea lui Asa şi i-a zis: „Ascultaţi-mă, Asa şi tot Iuda şi Beniamin! Domnul este cu voi când sunteţi cu El; dacă-L căutaţi, Îl veţi găsi; iar dacă-L părăsiţi, şi El vă va părăsi.

and he went out to meet Asa and said to him, “Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin: The LORD is with you while you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.

Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.

For a long time Israel was without the true God, and without a teaching priest and without law,

De ha nyomorúságában megtért az ÚRhoz, Izráel Istenéhez, megtalálták őt azok, akik keresték.

Ha megtért volna az ő nyomorúságában az Úrhoz, Izráel Istenéhez: megtalálták volna azok, a kik őt keresik.

But when they in their trouble did turn unto the LORD God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them.

Dar în mijlocul strâmtorării lor s-au întors la Domnul Dumnezeul lui Israel, L-au căutat şi L-au găsit.

but when in their distress they turned to the LORD, the God of Israel, and sought him, he was found by them.

De azokban az időkben nem volt békessége sem az elmenőnek, sem a hazatérőnek, mivel nagy nyomorúság szakadt mindazokra, akik e földön laktak.

De ezekben az időkben nincs békessége sem a kimenőnek, sem a hazajövőnek, mivelhogy nagy a nyomorúsága mindazoknak, a kik [e] földön laknak;

And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries.

În vremurile acelea nu era linişte pentru cei ce se duceau şi veneau, căci erau mari tulburări printre toţi locuitorii ţării;

In those times there was no peace to him who went out or to him who came in, for great disturbances afflicted all the inhabitants of the lands.

Annyira, hogy egyik nép a másik népet és egyik város a másik várost verte szét, mert Isten gyötörte őket mindenféle sanyarúsággal.

Annyira, hogy egy nemzetség a másik nemzetséget és egyik város a másik várost elpusztítja; mert az Isten gyötri őket minden sanyarúsággal.

And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity.

un popor se bătea împotriva altui popor, o cetate, împotriva altei cetăţi, pentru că Dumnezeu le tulbura cu tot felul de strâmtorări:

They were broken in pieces. Nation was crushed by nation and city by city, for God troubled them with every sort of distress.

Ti azonban legyetek bátrak, kezetek ne lankadjon, mert a ti munkátoknak meglesz a jutalma.

Ti azért bátorságosok legyetek, kezeiteket le ne ereszszétek, mert a ti munkátoknak jutalma van.

Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.

voi, dar, întăriţi-vă şi nu lăsaţi să vă slăbească mâinile, căci faptele voastre vor avea o răsplată.”

But you, take courage! Do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded.”

Mikor pedig Ászá meghallotta e beszédeket és Ódéd próféta jövendölését, nekibátorodott, és eltávolította Júda és Benjámin földjéről mindenestül az utálatos bálványokat – a városokból is, amelyeket elfoglalt Efraim hegységében –, és megújította az ÚR oltárát, amely az ÚR tornáca előtt volt.

Mikor pedig Asa meghallotta e beszédeket és az Obed prófétának prófécziáját, megbátorodék, és elpusztítá a Júda és Benjámin földéről mindenestől a bálványokat, a városokból is, a melyeket elfoglalt az Efraim hegységén, és megújítá az Úr oltárát is, a mely az Úr tornácza előtt volt.

And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the LORD, that was before the porch of the LORD.

După ce a auzit aceste cuvinte şi prorocia lui Oded, prorocul, Asa s-a întărit şi a îndepărtat urâciunile din toată ţara lui Iuda şi Beniamin şi din cetăţile pe care le luase în muntele lui Efraim şi a înnoit altarul Domnului care era înaintea pridvorului Domnului.

As soon as Asa heard these words, the prophecy of Azariah the son of Oded, he took courage and put away the detestable idols from all the land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities that he had taken in the hill country of Ephraim, and he repaired the altar of the LORD that was in front of the vestibule of the house of the LORD.

Összegyűjtötte egész Júda és Benjámin törzsét és azokat, akik jövevények voltak köztük az Efraim, Manassé és Simeon törzséből. Mert Izráelből sokan átpártoltak hozzá, mert látták, hogy az ÚR, az ő Istene vele van.

És összegyűjté az egész Júda és Benjámin nemzetségét és azokat, a kik jövevények valának köztök az Efraim, Manasse és Simeon nemzetségéből; mert az Izráel nemzetségéből sokan csatlakozának ő hozzá, látván, hogy az Úr, az ő Istene, ő vele volt.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who were residing with them, for great numbers had deserted to him from Israel when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.

So they gathered themselves together at Jerusalem in the third month, in the fifteenth year of the reign of Asa.

They were gathered at Jerusalem in the third month of the fifteenth year of the reign of Asa.

És azon a napon az odavitt zsákmányból hétszáz ökörrel és hétezer juhval áldoztak az ÚRnak.

És áldozának az Úrnak azon a napon a nyert zsákmányból hétszáz ökörrel és hétezer juhval;

And they offered unto the LORD the same time, of the spoil which they had brought, seven hundred oxen and seven thousand sheep.

au jertfit Domnului din prada pe care o aduseseră: şapte sute de boi şi şapte mii de oi.

They sacrificed to the LORD on that day from the spoil that they had brought 700 oxen and 7,000 sheep.

És szövetséget kötöttek, hogy ezután az URat, atyáik Istenét teljes szívvel és teljes lélekkel keresni fogják.

And they entered into a covenant to seek the LORD God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul;

And they entered into a covenant to seek the LORD, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and with all their soul,

És ha valaki nem keresné az URat, Izráel Istenét, meg kell halnia kicsinytől fogva nagyig, akár férfi, akár nő legyen az.

És ha valaki nem keresné az Urat, az Izráel Istenét, megölettessék kicsinytől fogva nagyig, úgy a férfi, mint az asszony.

That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.

şi oricine nu căuta pe Domnul Dumnezeul lui Israel trebuia omorât, fie mic fie mare, fie bărbat, fie femeie.

but that whoever would not seek the LORD, the God of Israel, should be put to death, whether young or old, man or woman.

Megesküdtek az ÚRnak fennhangon, örömujjongással, trombita- és kürtszóval,

És megesküvének az Úrnak felszóval, kiáltással, trombita- és kürtszókkal.

And they sware unto the LORD with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cornets.

Au jurat credinţă Domnului cu glas tare, cu strigăte de bucurie şi cu sunet de trâmbiţe şi de buciume;

They swore an oath to the LORD with a loud voice and with shouting and with trumpets and with horns.

és egész Júda örvendezett az eskü felett; mert teljes szívükből esküdtek, és egy akarattal keresték az URat. Meg is találták, és az ÚR nyugalmat adott nekik mindenfelől.

És örvendezett az egész Júda az eskű felett; mert teljes szívökből esküdtek, és egyenlő akarattal keresték [az Urat]; és megtaláltaték általok, és az Úr nyugodalmat szerze nékik minden felől.

And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the LORD gave them rest round about.

tot Iuda s-a bucurat de jurământul acesta, căci juraseră din toată inima lor, căutaseră pe Domnul de bunăvoia lor şi-L găsiseră. Şi Domnul le-a dat odihnă de jur împrejur.

And all Judah rejoiced over the oath, for they had sworn with all their heart and had sought him with their whole desire, and he was found by them, and the LORD gave them rest all around.

Még Maakát, Ászá király anyját is megfosztották királynői méltóságától, mivel egy utálatos bálványt emelt Asérának. Ászá azonban lerontotta és összetörte ezt az utálatos bálványt, és a Kidrón-pataknál megégette.

And also concerning Maachah the mother of Asa the king, he removed her from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove: and Asa cut down her idol, and stamped it, and burnt it at the brook Kidron.

Împăratul Asa n-a lăsat nici chiar pe mama sa, Maaca, să mai fie împărăteasă, pentru că făcuse un idol Astarteii. Asa i-a dărâmat idolul, pe care l-a făcut praf, şi l-a ars lângă pârâul Chedron.

Even Maacah, his mother, King Asa removed from being queen mother because she had made a detestable image for Asherah. Asa cut down her image, crushed it, and burned it at the brook Kidron.

Bár Izráelből a magaslatokat nem irtották ki, de Ászának tiszta volt a szíve egész életében.

Jóllehet Izráelből a magaslatokat nem irtották ki, mindazáltal Asának tiszta szíve vala egész életében.

But the high places were not taken away out of Israel: nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect all his days.

But the high places were not taken out of Israel. Nevertheless, the heart of Asa was wholly true all his days.

And he brought into the house of God the things that his father had dedicated, and that he himself had dedicated, silver, and gold, and vessels.

And he brought into the house of God the sacred gifts of his father and his own sacred gifts, silver, and gold, and vessels.

És nem volt háború Ászá királyságának harmincötödik esztendejéig.

És nem volt háború Asa királyságának harminczötödik esztendejéig.

And there was no more war unto the five and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa.

N-a fost niciun război până la al treizeci şi cincilea an al domniei lui Asa.

And there was no more war until the thirty-fifth year of the reign of Asa.
