Összehívta tizenkét tanítványát, és erőt és hatalmat adott nekik minden ördög fölött és a betegségek gyógyítására.

Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.

And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.

„Să nu luaţi nimic cu voi pe drum”, le-a zis El, „nici toiag, nici traistă, nici pâine, nici bani, nici două haine.

And he said to them, “Take nothing for your journey, no staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money; and do not have two tunics.

And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart.

And whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart.

And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.

And wherever they do not receive you, when you leave that town shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.”

Elindultak hát, bejárták a falvakat, hirdették az evangéliumot, és mindenütt gyógyítottak.

And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.

Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by him: and he was perplexed, because that it was said of some, that John was risen from the dead;

Cârmuitorul Irod a auzit vorbindu-se despre toate lucrurile săvârşite de Isus şi stătea în cumpănă, neştiind ce să creadă. Căci unii ziceau că a înviat Ioan din morţi;

Now Herod the tetrarch heard about all that was happening, and he was perplexed, because it was said by some that John had been raised from the dead,

And of some, that Elias had appeared; and of others, that one of the old prophets was risen again.

by some that Elijah had appeared, and by others that one of the prophets of old had risen.

Heródes ezt mondta: Jánost lefejeztettem, de kicsoda ez, aki felől ilyen dolgokat hallok? És látni akarta őt.

És monda Heródes: Jánosnak én vettem fejét: kicsoda hát ez, a ki felől én ilyen dolgokat hallok? És igyekezik vala őt látni.

And Herod said, John have I beheaded: but who is this, of whom I hear such things? And he desired to see him.

Dar Irod zicea: „Lui Ioan i-am tăiat capul; cine este oare Acesta despre care aud astfel de lucruri?” Şi căuta să-L vadă.

Herod said, “John I beheaded, but who is this about whom I hear such things?” And he sought to see him.

Amikor az apostolok visszatértek, elmondták neki mindazt, amit tettek. Akkor maga mellé vette őket, és elvonult külön velük egy Bétsaida nevű városba.

Visszatérvén pedig az apostolok, elbeszélének néki mindent, a mit cselekedtek. És azokat maga mellé vévén, elvonula magánosan a Bethsaida nevű városnak puszta helyére.

And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them, and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.

Apostolii, când s-au întors, au istorisit lui Isus tot ce făcuseră. El i-a luat cu Sine şi S-a dus la o parte, lângă o cetate numită Betsaida.

On their return the apostles told him all that they had done. And he took them and withdrew apart to a town called Bethsaida.

De amikor a sokaság megtudta ezt, követte. Ő pedig magához fogadta őket, beszélt nekik az Isten országáról, és a gyógyulásra szorulókat meggyógyította.

A sokaság pedig [ezt] megtudván, követé őt: és ő örömmel fogadván őket, szóla nékik az Isten országáról, és a kiknek gyógyulásra volt szükségök, azokat meggyógyítá.

And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing.

Noroadele au priceput lucrul acesta şi au mers după El. Isus le-a primit bine, le vorbea despre Împărăţia lui Dumnezeu şi vindeca pe cei ce aveau trebuinţă de vindecare.

When the crowds learned it, they followed him, and he welcomed them and spoke to them of the kingdom of God and cured those who had need of healing.

Amikor pedig a nap már hanyatlóban volt, a tizenkettő odament hozzá, és azt mondta neki: Bocsásd el a sokaságot, hogy elmenjenek a környező falvakba és majorokba, hogy szállást és élelmet találjanak, mert itt puszta helyen vagyunk.

And when the day began to wear away, then came the twelve, and said unto him, Send the multitude away, that they may go into the towns and country round about, and lodge, and get victuals: for we are here in a desert place.

Now the day began to wear away, and the twelve came and said to him, “Send the crowd away to go into the surrounding villages and countryside to find lodging and get provisions, for we are here in a desolate place.”

Ő pedig azt mondta nekik: Adjatok nekik ti enni! Mire így válaszoltak: Nincs nekünk több öt kenyérnél és két halnál, hacsak el nem megyünk, és nem veszünk eledelt az egész sokaságnak.

But he said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they said, We have no more but five loaves and two fishes; except we should go and buy meat for all this people.

Isus le-a zis: „Daţi-le voi să mănânce!” Dar ei au răspuns: „N-avem decât cinci pâini şi doi peşti; afară numai dacă ne vom duce noi înşine să cumpărăm merinde pentru tot norodul acesta.”

But he said to them, “You give them something to eat.” They said, “We have no more than five loaves and two fish—unless we are to go and buy food for all these people.”

Mert mintegy ötezren voltak ott csak férfiak. Akkor azt mondta tanítványainak: Ültessétek le őket ötvenes csoportokba!

Mert valának [ott] mintegy ötezeren férfiak. Monda pedig az ő tanítványainak: Ültessétek le őket csoportokba ötvenével.

For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down by fifties in a company.

Şi erau aproape cinci mii de bărbaţi. Isus a zis ucenicilor Săi: „Puneţi-i să şadă jos în cete de câte cincizeci.”

For there were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, “Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each.”

Úgy tettek, és leültették valamennyiüket.

És a képen cselekedének, és leülteték valamennyit.

And they did so, and made them all sit down.

And they did so, and had them all sit down.

Ő pedig vette az öt kenyeret és a két halat, feltekintett az égre, megáldotta azokat, megtörte, és odaadta a tanítványoknak, hogy a sokaság elé tegyék.

Minekutána pedig vette az öt kenyeret és a két halat, a mennybe emelvén szemeit, megáldá azokat, és megszegé; és adá a tanítványoknak, hogy a sokaság elé tegyék.

Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.

Isus a luat cele cinci pâini şi cei doi peşti, Şi-a ridicat ochii spre cer şi le-a binecuvântat. Apoi le-a frânt şi le-a dat ucenicilor să le împartă norodului.

And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing over them. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd.

Ettek és jóllaktak mindnyájan, és felszedték a maradék darabokat, tizenkét kosárral.

And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets.

Au mâncat toţi şi s-au săturat; şi au ridicat douăsprezece coşuri pline cu firimiturile rămase.

And they all ate and were satisfied. And what was left over was picked up, twelve baskets of broken pieces.

Egyszer, amikor magában imádkozott, vele voltak a tanítványok, és megkérdezte őket: Kinek mond engem a sokaság?

És lőn, mikor ő magában imádkozék, vele valának a tanítványok; és megkérdé őket, mondván: Kinek mond engem a sokaság?

And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say the people that I am?

Într-o zi, pe când Se ruga Isus singur deoparte, având cu El pe ucenicii Lui, le-a pus întrebarea următoare: „Cine zic oamenii că sunt Eu?”

Now it happened that as he was praying alone, the disciples were with him. And he asked them, “Who do the crowds say that I am?”

Ők így válaszoltak: Keresztelő Jánosnak, de némelyek Illésnek, némelyek pedig azt mondják, hogy a régi próféták közül támadt fel valamelyik.

Ők pedig felelvén, mondának: Keresztelő Jánosnak; némelyek pedig Illésnek; némelyek pedig, hogy a régi próféták közül támadt fel valamelyik.

They answering said, John the Baptist; but some say, Elias; and others say, that one of the old prophets is risen again.

Ei I-au răspuns: „Unii zic că eşti Ioan Botezătorul; alţii zic că eşti Ilie; alţii zic că a înviat un proroc din cei din vechime.”

And they answered, “John the Baptist. But others say, Elijah, and others, that one of the prophets of old has risen.”

Akkor azt kérdezte tőlük: És ti kinek mondtok engem? Péter pedig így felelt: Az Isten Krisztusának.

És monda nékik: Hát ti kinek mondotok engem? Felelvén pedig Péter, monda: Az Isten ama Krisztusának.

He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God.

„Dar voi”, i-a întrebat El, „cine ziceţi că sunt?” „Hristosul lui Dumnezeu!”, I-a răspuns Petru.

Then he said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” And Peter answered, “The Christ of God.”

Ő pedig rájuk parancsolt, hogy ezt senkinek se mondják.

Ő pedig reájok parancsolván, meghagyá, hogy ezt senkinek ne mondják;

And he straitly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that thing;

Isus le-a poruncit cu tărie să nu spună nimănui lucrul acesta.

And he strictly charged and commanded them to tell this to no one,

Majd azt mondta, hogy az Emberfiának sokat kell szenvednie, el kell vettetnie a vénektől, főpapoktól és írástudóktól, és meg kell öletnie, de harmadnapon fel kell támadnia.

Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.

saying, “The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised.”

Azután azt mondta mindenkinek: Ha valaki énutánam akar jönni, tagadja meg magát, vegye fel a keresztjét mindennap, és kövessen engem!

Mondja vala pedig mindeneknek: Ha valaki én utánam akar jőni, tagadja meg magát, és vegye fel az ő keresztjét minden nap, és kövessen engem.

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Apoi a zis tuturor: „Dacă voieşte cineva să vină după Mine, să se lepede de sine, să-şi ia crucea în fiecare zi şi să Mă urmeze.

And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.

Mert aki meg akarja tartani a maga életét, elveszti azt, aki pedig elveszti az életét énértem, az megtartja azt.

Mert a ki meg akarja tartani az ő életét, elveszti azt; a ki pedig elveszti az ő életét én érettem, az megtartja azt.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

Fiindcă oricine va voi să-şi scape viaţa o va pierde; dar oricine îşi va pierde viaţa pentru Mine o va mântui.

For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.

Mert mit használ az embernek, ha az egész világot megnyeri is, önmagát azonban elpusztítja vagy elveszti?

Mert mit használ az embernek, ha mind e világot megnyeri [is], ő magát pedig elveszti vagy magában kárt vall?

For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

Şi ce ar folosi unui om să câştige toată lumea, dacă s-ar prăpădi sau s-ar pierde pe sine însuşi?

For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself?

Mert aki szégyell engem és az én beszédemet, az Emberfia is szégyellni fogja azt, amikor eljön a maga, az Atya és a szent angyalok dicsőségében.

Mert valaki szégyel engem és az én beszédemet, az embernek Fia is szégyelni fogja azt, mikor eljő az ő dicsőségével, és az Atyáéval és a szent angyalokéval.

For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

Căci de oricine se va ruşina de Mine şi de cuvintele Mele, se va ruşina şi Fiul omului de el, când va veni în slava Sa şi a Tatălui şi a sfinţilor îngeri.

For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.

Bizony mondom nektek, hogy vannak az itt állók közül némelyek, akik nem ízlelnek halált mindaddig, amíg meg nem látják az Isten országát.

Mondom pedig néktek bizonnyal, hogy vannak az itt állók közül némelyek, kik a halált meg nem kóstolják, mígnem meglátják az Istennek országát.

But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

Adevărat vă spun, că sunt unii din cei ce stau aici, care nu vor gusta moartea, până nu vor vedea Împărăţia lui Dumnezeu.”

But I tell you truly, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God.”

Mintegy nyolc nappal e beszédét követően maga mellé vette Pétert, Jánost és Jakabot, és felment velük a hegyre imádkozni.

És lőn e beszédek után mintegy nyolczadnappal, hogy maga mellé vevé Pétert, Jánost és Jakabot, és felméne a hegyre imádkozni.

And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.

Now about eight days after these sayings he took with him Peter and John and James and went up on the mountain to pray.

Imádkozás közben arca elváltozott, és ruhája ragyogó fehér lett.

And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.

And as he was praying, the appearance of his face was altered, and his clothing became dazzling white.

És íme, két férfi beszélt vele, Mózes és Illés,

És ímé két férfiú beszél vala ő vele, kik valának Mózes és Illés;

And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias:

Şi iată că stăteau de vorbă cu El doi bărbaţi: erau Moise şi Ilie,

And behold, two men were talking with him, Moses and Elijah,

akik megjelentek dicsőségben, és a Jeruzsálemben bekövetkező haláláról beszéltek.

Kik dicsőségben megjelenvén, beszélik vala az ő halálát, melyet Jeruzsálemben fog megteljesíteni.

Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.

care se arătaseră în slavă şi vorbeau despre sfârşitul Lui pe care avea să-l aibă în Ierusalim.

who appeared in glory and spoke of his departure, which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.

Pétert és a vele levőket pedig elnyomta az álom, de amikor felébredtek, látták az ő dicsőségét és azt a két férfit, akik vele álltak.

Pétert pedig és a vele lévőket elnyomá az álom; de mikor felébredtek, láták az ő dicsőségét, és ama két férfiút, kik vele állanak vala.

But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.

Petru şi tovarăşii lui erau îngreuiaţi de somn; dar, când s-au deşteptat bine, au văzut slava lui Isus şi pe cei doi bărbaţi care stăteau împreună cu El.

Now Peter and those who were with him were heavy with sleep, but when they became fully awake they saw his glory and the two men who stood with him.

És amikor azok eltávoztak, Péter azt mondta Jézusnak: Mester, jó nekünk itt lennünk, készítsünk azért három hajlékot, egyet neked, egyet Mózesnek és egyet Illésnek! De nem tudta, mit beszél.

És lőn, mikor azok eltávoztak ő tőle, monda Péter Jézusnak: Mester, jó nékünk itt lennünk: csináljunk azért három hajlékot, egyet néked, Mózesnek is egyet, és egyet Illésnek; nem tudván mit mond.

And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.

În clipa când se despărţeau bărbaţii aceştia de Isus, Petru a zis lui Isus: „Învăţătorule, este bine să fim aici; să facem trei colibe: una pentru Tine, una pentru Moise, şi una pentru Ilie.” Nu ştia ce spune.

And as the men were parting from him, Peter said to Jesus, “Master, it is good that we are here. Let us make three tents, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah”—not knowing what he said.

While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud.

As he was saying these things, a cloud came and overshadowed them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud.

És hang hallatszott a felhőből: Ez az én Fiam, az én választottam, reá hallgassatok.

És szózat lőn a felhőből, mondván: Ez amaz én szerelmes Fiam, őt hallgassátok.

And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

Şi din nor s-a auzit un glas care zicea: „Acesta este Fiul Meu preaiubit: de El să ascultaţi.”

And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, my Chosen One; listen to him!”

Amikor a hang hallatszott, már csak Jézus volt ott. Ők pedig hallgattak, és abból, amit láttak, senkinek semmit el nem mondtak azokban a napokban.

És mikor a szózat lőn, találtaték Jézus csak maga. Ők pedig hallgatának, és semmit abból, a mit láttak, senkinek el nem mondának azokban a napokban.

And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen.

And when the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. And they kept silent and told no one in those days anything of what they had seen.

Másnap, amikor a hegyről lejöttek, nagy tömeg jött eléje,

And it came to pass, that on the next day, when they were come down from the hill, much people met him.

A doua zi, când s-au coborât de pe munte, o gloată mare a întâmpinat pe Isus.

On the next day, when they had come down from the mountain, a great crowd met him.

és a tömegből egy férfi így kiáltott: Mester, kérlek, tekints az én fiamra, hiszen egyetlen gyermekem!

És ímé egy a sokaság közül felkiálta, mondván: Mester, kérlek téged, tekints az én fiamra; mert nékem egyetlen egyem:

And, behold, a man of the company cried out, saying, Master, I beseech thee, look upon my son: for he is mine only child.

Şi un om din mijlocul mulţimii a strigat: „Învăţătorule, rogu-Te, uită-Te cu îndurare la fiul meu, fiindcă îl am numai pe el.

And behold, a man from the crowd cried out, “Teacher, I beg you to look at my son, for he is my only child.

Mert időnként egy lélek megragadja, és hirtelen felkiált, úgy rángatja, hogy tajtékzik, és csak nehezen hagyja el, miután meggyötörte.

És ímé a lélek megragadja őt, és hirtelen kiált; és szaggatja őt, annyira, hogy tajtékot túr, és nehezen megy el tőle, szaggatván őt.

And, lo, a spirit taketh him, and he suddenly crieth out; and it teareth him that he foameth again, and bruising him hardly departeth from him.

Îl apucă un duh, şi deodată răcneşte; şi duhul îl scutură cu putere, aşa că băiatul face spumă la gură, şi cu anevoie se duce duhul de la el, după ce l-a stropşit de tot.

And behold, a spirit seizes him, and he suddenly cries out. It convulses him so that he foams at the mouth, and shatters him, and will hardly leave him.

Kértem a tanítványaidat, hogy űzzék ki belőle, de nem tudták.

És kérem a te tanítványaidat, hogy űzzék ki azt, de nem tudták.

And I besought thy disciples to cast him out; and they could not.

Am rugat pe ucenicii Tăi să-l scoată, şi n-au putut.

And I begged your disciples to cast it out, but they could not.”

Ekkor Jézus így felelt: Ó, hitetlen és elfajult nemzedék, meddig leszek köztetek, és meddig kell még elhordoznom titeket? Hozd ide a fiadat!

Felelvén pedig Jézus, monda: Óh hitetlen és elfajult nemzetség! meddig leszek köztetek, és [meddig] tűrlek titeket? Hozd ide a te fiadat!

And Jesus answering said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you, and suffer you? Bring thy son hither.

„O, neam necredincios şi pornit la rău”, a răspuns Isus, „până când voi fi cu voi şi vă voi suferi? Adu aici pe fiul tău.”

Jesus answered, “O faithless and twisted generation, how long am I to be with you and bear with you? Bring your son here.”

Ahogy feléje tartott a fiú, az ördög földhöz verte és rángatta. Jézus megdorgálta a tisztátalan lelket, meggyógyította a gyermeket, és visszaadta az apjának.

A míg pedig az odaméne, azon közben az ördög földhöz üté azt, és megrángatá. De Jézus megdorgálá a tisztátalan lelket, és meggyógyítá a gyermeket, és adá azt az ő atyjának.

And as he was yet a coming, the devil threw him down, and tare him. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and delivered him again to his father.

Pe când venea băiatul, dracul l-a trântit la pământ şi l-a scuturat cu putere. Dar Isus a certat duhul necurat, a vindecat pe băiat şi l-a dat înapoi tatălui său.

While he was coming, the demon threw him to the ground and convulsed him. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit and healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.

Mindnyájan álmélkodtak Isten nagyságán. Amíg mindenki azon csodálkozott, amit Jézus tett, ő azt mondta tanítványainak:

Elálmélkodának pedig mindnyájan az Istennek nagyságos erején. Mikor pedig mindnyájan csodálkozának mind azokon, a miket Jézus cselekedék, monda az ő tanítványainak:

And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they wondered every one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples,

Şi toţi au rămas uimiţi de mărirea lui Dumnezeu. Pe când toţi se minunau de tot ce făcea Isus, El a zis ucenicilor Săi:

And all were astonished at the majesty of God. But while they were all marveling at everything he was doing, Jesus said to his disciples,

Jól jegyezzétek meg, amit most mondok: Az Emberfiát az emberek kezébe fogják adni.

Vegyétek füleitekbe ezeket a beszédeket: Mert az embernek Fia az emberek kezébe fog adatni.

Let these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men.

„Voi ascultaţi bine ce vă spun: Fiul omului va fi dat în mâinile oamenilor!”

“Let these words sink into your ears: The Son of Man is about to be delivered into the hands of men.”

De ők nem értették ezt a beszédet, mert el volt rejtve előlük, hogy ne értsék meg, és féltek megkérdezni őt e kijelentése felől.

De ők nem érték e mondást, és el vala rejtve előlük, hogy ne értsék azt; és féltek őt megkérdezni e mondás felől.

But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying.

Dar ucenicii nu înţelegeau cuvintele acestea, căci erau acoperite pentru ei, ca să nu le priceapă; şi se temeau să-L întrebe în privinţa aceasta.

But they did not understand this saying, and it was concealed from them, so that they might not perceive it. And they were afraid to ask him about this saying.

Majd vita támadt közöttük, hogy ki a nagyobb közülük.

Támada pedig bennök az a gondolat, hogy ki nagyobb közöttük.

Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of them should be greatest.

Apoi le-a venit în gând să ştie cine dintre ei ar fi cel mai mare.

An argument arose among them as to which of them was the greatest.

Jézus pedig, látva szívük gondolatát, kézen fogott egy kisgyermeket, maga mellé állította,

Jézus pedig látván az ő szívök gondolatát, egy kis gyermeket megfogván, maga mellé állatá azt,

And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a child, and set him by him,

Isus le-a cunoscut gândul inimii, a luat un copilaş, l-a pus lângă El

But Jesus, knowing the reasoning of their hearts, took a child and put him by his side

és azt mondta nekik: Aki ezt a kisgyermeket befogadja az én nevemben, engem fogad be, és aki engem befogad, azt fogadja be, aki engem küldött, mert aki a legkisebb közöttetek, az a nagy.

És monda nékik: Valaki e kis gyermeket befogadja az én nevemben, engem fogad be; és valaki engem befogad, azt fogadja be, a ki engem elküldött; mert a ki legkisebb mindnyájan ti közöttetek, az lesz nagy.

And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

şi le-a zis: „Oricine primeşte pe acest copilaş, în Numele Meu, pe Mine Mă primeşte; şi oricine Mă primeşte pe Mine primeşte pe Cel ce M-a trimis pe Mine. Fiindcă cine este cel mai mic între voi toţi acela este mare.”

and said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For he who is least among you all is the one who is great.”

János ekkor azt mondta: Mester, láttunk valakit, aki a te nevedben ördögöket űz, és megtiltottuk neki, mert nem követ téged velünk együtt.

Felelvén pedig János, monda: Mester, láttunk valakit, a ki a te nevedben ördögöket űz; és eltiltók őt, mivelhogy [téged] nem követ mi velünk.

And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us.

Ioan a luat cuvântul şi a zis: „Învăţătorule, noi am văzut pe un om scoţând draci în Numele Tău; şi l-am oprit, pentru că nu merge după noi.”

John answered, “Master, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, and we tried to stop him, because he does not follow with us.”

Jézus így válaszolt: Ne tiltsátok meg neki, mert aki nincs ellenetek, az veletek van!

És monda néki Jézus: Ne tiltsátok el: mert a ki nincs ellenünk, mellettünk van.

And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.

„Nu-l opriţi”, i-a răspuns Isus, „fiindcă cine nu este împotriva voastră este pentru voi.”

But Jesus said to him, “Do not stop him, for the one who is not against you is for you.”

Ahogy közeledett felemeltetésének ideje, elhatározta, hogy Jeruzsálembe megy,

Lőn pedig, mikor az idő elközelgete, hogy ő felvitessék, eltökélte magát, hogy Jeruzsálembe megy,

And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,

Când s-a apropiat vremea în care avea să fie luat în cer, Isus Şi-a îndreptat faţa hotărât să meargă la Ierusalim.

When the days drew near for him to be taken up, he set his face to go to Jerusalem.

és követeket küldött maga előtt. Azok útra keltek, és eljutottak a samaritánusok egyik falujába, hogy szállást készítsenek neki.

És követeket külde az ő orczája előtt; és [azok] elmenvén, bemenének egy samaritánus faluba, hogy néki [szállást] készítsenek.

And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.

A trimis înainte nişte soli, care s-au dus şi au intrat într-un sat al samaritenilor, ca să-I pregătească un loc de găzduit.

And he sent messengers ahead of him, who went and entered a village of the Samaritans, to make preparations for him.

De nem fogadták be, mivel Jeruzsálembe tartott.

De nem fogadák be őt, mivelhogy ő Jeruzsálembe megy vala.

And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.

Dar ei nu L-au primit, pentru că Isus Se îndrepta să meargă spre Ierusalim.

But the people did not receive him, because his face was set toward Jerusalem.

Amikor látták ezt a tanítványai, Jakab és János, így szóltak: Uram, akarod, hogy azt mondjuk, szálljon le tűz az égből, és pusztítsa el őket?

Mikor pedig ezt látták az ő tanítványai, Jakab és János, mondának: Uram, akarod-é, hogy mondjuk, hogy tűz szálljon alá az égből, és emészsze meg ezeket, mint Illyés is cselekedett?

And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?

Ucenicii Săi, Iacov şi Ioan, când au văzut lucrul acesta, au zis: „Doamne, vrei să poruncim să se coboare foc din cer şi să-i mistuie, cum a făcut Ilie?”

And when his disciples James and John saw it, they said, “Lord, do you want us to tell fire to come down from heaven and consume them?”

De Jézus megfordult, és megdorgálta őket: Nem tudjátok, micsoda lélek van bennetek,

De [Jézus] megfordulván, megdorgálá őket, mondván: Nem tudjátok minémű lélek van ti bennetek:

But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.

Isus S-a întors spre ei, i-a certat şi le-a zis: „Nu ştiţi de ce duh sunteţi însufleţiţi!

But he turned and rebuked them.

mert az Emberfia nem azért jött, hogy elveszítse az emberek életét, hanem hogy megtartsa. És elmentek egy másik faluba.

Mert az embernek Fia nem azért jött, hogy elveszítse az emberek lelkét, hanem hogy megtartsa. Elmenének azért más faluba.

For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

Căci Fiul omului a venit nu ca să piardă sufletele oamenilor, ci să le mântuiască.” Şi au plecat în alt sat.

And they went on to another village.

Történt pedig, hogy amikor mentek az úton, valaki azt mondta: Követlek téged, bárhova mégy is!

Lőn pedig, mikor menének, valaki monda néki az úton: Követlek téged Uram, valahová mégy!

And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.

Pe când erau pe drum, un om I-a zis: „Doamne, Te voi urma oriunde vei merge.”

As they were going along the road, someone said to him, “I will follow you wherever you go.”

Jézus így válaszolt: A rókáknak barlangjuk van és az égi madaraknak fészkük, de az Emberfiának nincs hova fejét lehajtania.

És monda néki Jézus: A rókáknak barlangjuk van, és az égi madaraknak fészkük; de az ember Fiának nincs fejét hová lehajtania.

And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Isus i-a răspuns: „Vulpile au vizuini, şi păsările cerului au cuiburi; dar Fiul omului n-are unde-Şi odihni capul.”

And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”

Egy másikhoz pedig így szólt: Kövess engem! Ő pedig azt kérte tőle: Uram, engedd meg, hogy előbb elmenjek, és eltemessem az apámat.

Monda pedig másnak: Kövess engem. Az pedig monda: Uram, engedd meg nékem, hogy előbb elmenjek és eltemessem az én atyámat.

And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

Altuia i-a zis: „Vino după Mine!” „Doamne”, I-a răspuns el, „lasă-mă să mă duc întâi să îngrop pe tatăl meu.”

To another he said, “Follow me.” But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”

De Jézus így válaszolt: Hadd temessék el a halottak a halottaikat, te pedig menj, és hirdesd az Isten országát.

Monda pedig néki Jézus: Hadd temessék el a halottak az ő halottaikat: te pedig elmenvén, hirdesd az Isten országát.

Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

Dar Isus i-a zis: „Lasă morţii să-şi îngroape morţii, şi tu du-te de vesteşte Împărăţia lui Dumnezeu.”

And Jesus said to him, “Leave the dead to bury their own dead. But as for you, go and proclaim the kingdom of God.”

Azt mondta egy másik is: Követlek téged, Uram, de előbb engedd meg nekem, hogy búcsút vegyek azoktól, akik a házamban vannak.

Monda pedig más is: Követlek téged Uram; de előbb engedd meg nékem, hogy búcsút vegyek azoktól, a kik az én házamban vannak.

And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.

Un altul a zis: „Doamne, Te voi urma, dar lasă-mă întâi să mă duc să-mi iau rămas bun de la ai mei.”

Yet another said, “I will follow you, Lord, but let me first say farewell to those at my home.”

Ennek Jézus azt felelte: Aki az eke szarvára teszi a kezét, és hátratekint, az nem alkalmas az Isten országára.

És monda néki Jézus: Valaki az eke szarvára veti kezét, és hátra tekint, nem alkalmas az Isten országára.

And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Isus i-a răspuns: „Oricine pune mâna pe plug, şi se uită înapoi nu este destoinic pentru Împărăţia lui Dumnezeu.”

Jesus said to him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.”
