Majd azt mondta tanítványainak: Volt egy gazdag ember, és volt annak egy sáfára, akit bevádoltak nála, hogy eltékozolja vagyonát.

Monda pedig az ő tanítványainak is: Vala egy gazdag ember, kinek vala egy sáfára; és az bevádoltaték nála, hogy javait eltékozolja.

And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.

Isus a mai spus ucenicilor Săi: „Un om bogat avea un ispravnic care a fost pârât la el că-i risipeşte averea.

He also said to the disciples, “There was a rich man who had a manager, and charges were brought to him that this man was wasting his possessions.

Előhívatta azért, és azt mondta neki: Mit hallok felőled? Adj számot a sáfárságodról, mert különben nem lehetsz tovább sáfár!

Hívá azért azt, és monda néki: Mit hallok felőled? Adj számot a te sáfárságodról; mert nem lehetsz tovább sáfár.

And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.

El l-a chemat şi i-a zis: „Ce aud eu vorbindu-se despre tine? Dă-ţi socoteala de isprăvnicia ta, pentru că nu mai poţi fi ispravnic.”

And he called him and said to him, ‘What is this that I hear about you? Turn in the account of your management, for you can no longer be manager.’

A sáfár azt mondta magában: Mitévő legyek, ha az uram elveszi tőlem a sáfárságot? Kapálni nem bírok, koldulni szégyellek.

Monda pedig magában a sáfár: Mit míveljek, mivelhogy az én uram elveszi tőlem a sáfárságot? Kapálni nem tudok; koldulni szégyenlek!

Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.

Ispravnicul şi-a zis: „Ce am să fac dacă îmi ia stăpânul isprăvnicia? Să sap, nu pot; să cerşesc, mi-e ruşine.

And the manager said to himself, ‘What shall I do, since my master is taking the management away from me? I am not strong enough to dig, and I am ashamed to beg.

Tudom, mit tegyek, hogy amikor sáfárságomtól megfosztanak, befogadjanak engem a házaikba.

Tudom mit tegyek, hogy mikor a sáfárságtól megfosztatom, befogadjanak engem házaikba.

I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.

Ştiu ce am să fac, pentru ca, atunci când voi fi scos din isprăvnicie, ei să mă primească în casele lor.”

I have decided what to do, so that when I am removed from management, people may receive me into their houses.’

És magához hívatta urának minden egyes adósát, és azt mondta az elsőnek: Mennyivel tartozol az uramnak?

És magához hivatván az ő urának minden egyes adósát, monda az elsőnek: Mennyivel tartozol az én uramnak?

So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord?

A chemat pe fiecare din datornicii stăpânului său şi a zis celui dintâi: „Cât eşti dator stăpânului meu?”

So, summoning his master’s debtors one by one, he said to the first, ‘How much do you owe my master?’

Az pedig így felelt: Száz korsó olajjal. És azt mondta neki: Vedd az írásodat, ülj le, és írj hamar ötvenet!

Az pedig monda: Száz bátus olajjal. És monda néki: Vedd a te írásodat, és leülvén, hamar írj ötvent.

And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.

„O sută de măsuri de untdelemn”, a răspuns el. Şi i-a zis: „Ia-ţi zapisul şi şezi degrabă de scrie cincizeci.”

He said, ‘A hundred measures of oil.’ He said to him, ‘Take your bill, and sit down quickly and write fifty.’

Azután azt mondta a másiknak: Te mennyivel tartozol? Az pedig így felelt: Száz kórus búzával. És azt mondta annak: Vedd az írásodat, és írj nyolcvanat!

Azután monda másnak: Te pedig mennyivel tartozol? Az pedig monda: Száz kórus búzával. És monda annak: Vedd a te írásodat, és írj nyolczvanat.

Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore.

Apoi a zis altuia: „Dar tu cât eşti dator?” „O sută de măsuri de grâu”, a răspuns el. Şi i-a zis: „Ia-ţi zapisul şi scrie optzeci.”

Then he said to another, ‘And how much do you owe?’ He said, ‘A hundred measures of wheat.’ He said to him, ‘Take your bill, and write eighty.’

És dicsérte az úr a hamis sáfárt, hogy eszesen cselekedett, mert e világ fiai a maguk nemében eszesebbek a világosság fiainál.

És dícséré az úr a hamis sáfárt, hogy eszesen cselekedett, mert e világnak fiai eszesebbek a világosságnak fiainál a maguk nemében.

And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.

Stăpânul lui a lăudat pe ispravnicul nedrept, pentru că lucrase înţelept. Căci fiii veacului acestuia, faţă de semenii lor, sunt mai înţelepţi decât fiii luminii.

The master commended the dishonest manager for his shrewdness. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in dealing with their own generation than the sons of light.

Én is mondom nektek, szerezzetek magatoknak barátokat a hamis mammonból, hogy amikor az elfogy, befogadjanak titeket az örök hajlékokba.

Én is mondom néktek, szerezzetek magatoknak barátokat a hamis mammonból, hogy mikor meghaltok, befogadjanak benneteket az örök hajlékokba.

And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.

Şi Eu vă zic: faceţi-vă prieteni cu ajutorul bogăţiilor nedrepte, pentru ca atunci când veţi muri, să vă primească în corturile veşnice.

And I tell you, make friends for yourselves by means of unrighteous wealth, so that when it fails they may receive you into the eternal dwellings.

Aki a kevesen hű, az a sokon is hű, és aki a kevesen hamis, az a sokon is hamis.

A ki hű a kevesen, a sokon is hű az; és a ki a kevesen hamis, a sokon is hamis az.

He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

Cine este credincios în cele mai mici lucruri este credincios şi în cele mari; şi cine este nedrept în cele mai mici lucruri este nedrept şi în cele mari.

“One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.

Ha azért a hamis mammonon nem voltatok hűek, ki bízná rátok az igazit?

Ha azért a hamis mammonon hívek nem voltatok, ki bízná reátok az igazi [kincset]?

If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

Deci, dacă n-aţi fost credincioşi în bogăţiile nedrepte, cine vă va încredinţa adevăratele bogăţii?

If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches?

És ha a másén nem voltatok hűek, ki adja oda nektek, ami a tiétek?

És ha a másén hívek nem voltatok, ki adja oda néktek, a mi a tiétek?

And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?

Şi, dacă n-aţi fost credincioşi în lucrul altuia, cine vă va da ce este al vostru?

And if you have not been faithful in that which is another’s, who will give you that which is your own?

Egy szolga sem szolgálhat két úrnak, mert vagy az egyiket gyűlöli, és a másikat szereti, vagy az egyikhez ragaszkodik, és a másikat megveti. Nem szolgálhattok Istennek és a mammonnak.

Egy szolga sem szolgálhat két úrnak: mert vagy az egyiket gyűlöli és a másikat szereti; vagy az egyikhez ragaszkodik, és a másikat megveti. Nem szolgálhattok az Istennek és a mammonnak.

No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Nicio slugă nu poate sluji la doi stăpâni; căci sau va urî pe unul, şi va iubi pe celălalt sau va ţine numai la unul, şi va nesocoti pe celălalt. Nu puteţi sluji lui Dumnezeu şi lui Mamona.”

No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.”

Hallották pedig mindezeket a farizeusok is, akik pénzszeretők voltak, és csúfolódtak.

Hallák pedig mindezeket a farizeusok is, kik pénzszeretők valának; és csúfolák őt.

And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.

Fariseii, care erau iubitori de bani, ascultau şi ei toate lucrurile acestea şi îşi băteau joc de El.

The Pharisees, who were lovers of money, heard all these things, and they ridiculed him.

Ő pedig azt mondta nekik: Ti az emberek előtt igaznak tartjátok magatokat, de Isten ismeri a szíveteket, mert ami az emberek között magasztos, az Isten előtt utálatos.

És monda nékik: Ti vagytok, a kik az emberek előtt magatokat megigazítjátok; de az Isten ismeri a ti szíveteket: mert a mi az emberek közt magasztos, az Isten előtt útálatos.

And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

Isus le-a zis: „Voi căutaţi să vă arătaţi neprihăniţi înaintea oamenilor, dar Dumnezeu vă cunoaşte inimile; pentru că ce este înălţat între oameni este o urâciune înaintea lui Dumnezeu.

And he said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. For what is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.

A törvény és a próféták Keresztelő Jánosig voltak, attól fogva az Isten országát hirdetik, és mindenki küzdelem árán jut oda.

A törvény és a próféták [Keresztelő] Jánosig [valának:] az időtől fogva az Istennek országa hirdettetik, és mindenki erőszakkal tör abba.

The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

Legea şi prorocii au ţinut până la Ioan; de atunci încoace, Evanghelia Împărăţiei lui Dumnezeu se propovăduieşte; şi fiecare, ca să intre în ea, dă năvală.

“The Law and the Prophets were until John; since then the good news of the kingdom of God is preached, and everyone forces his way into it.

Könnyebben elmúlik az ég és a föld, mintsem hogy a törvényből egy pontocska is elvesszen.

Könnyebb pedig a mennynek és a földnek elmúlni, hogynem a törvényből egy pontocskának elesni.

And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.

Este mai lesne să treacă cerul şi pământul decât să cadă o singură frântură de slovă din Lege.

But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one dot of the Law to become void.

Aki elbocsátja a feleségét, és mást vesz el, házasságtörő, és aki férjétől elbocsátott asszonyt vesz feleségül, az is házasságtörő.

Valaki elbocsátja feleségét, és mást vesz el, paráználkodik; és valaki férjétől elbocsátott asszonyt vesz feleségül, paráználkodik.

Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.

Oricine îşi lasă nevasta şi ia pe alta de nevastă preacurveşte; şi cine ia de nevastă pe cea lăsată de bărbatul ei preacurveşte.

“Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery.

Volt pedig egy gazdag ember, aki bíborba és patyolatba öltözött, és mindennap nagy lakomát szerzett.

Vala pedig egy gazdag ember, és öltözik vala bíborba és patyolatba, mindennap dúsan vigadozván:

There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

Era un om bogat care se îmbrăca în porfiră şi in subţire; şi în fiecare zi ducea o viaţă plină de veselie şi strălucire.

“There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day.

És volt egy Lázár nevű koldus, aki fekélyekkel tele ott feküdt a kapuja előtt,

És vala egy Lázár nevű koldus, ki az ő kapuja elé volt vetve, fekélyekkel tele.

And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

La uşa lui, zăcea un sărac, numit Lazăr, plin de bube.

And at his gate was laid a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores,

és szívesen jóllakott volna a gazdag asztaláról lehullott morzsákkal, de csak a kutyák jöttek, hogy nyalják sebeit.

És kíván vala megelégedni a morzsalékokkal, melyek hullanak vala a gazdagnak asztaláról; de az ebek is eljővén, nyalják vala az ő sebeit.

And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

Şi dorea mult să se sature cu firimiturile care cădeau de la masa bogatului; până şi câinii veneau şi-i lingeau bubele.

who desired to be fed with what fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover, even the dogs came and licked his sores.

Történt pedig, hogy meghalt a koldus, és az angyalok felvitték Ábrahám kebelére. Meghalt a gazdag is, és eltemették.

Lőn pedig, hogy meghala a koldus, és viteték az angyaloktól az Ábrahám kebelébe; meghala pedig a gazdag is, és eltemetteték.

And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

Cu vremea, săracul a murit; şi a fost dus de îngeri în sânul lui Avraam. A murit şi bogatul, şi l-au îngropat.

The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried,

És amint a pokolban kínok között fölemelte szemeit, látta távolról Ábrahámot és Lázárt annak kebelén.

És a pokolban felemelé az ő szemeit, kínokban lévén, és látá Ábrahámot távol, és Lázárt annak kebelében.

And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Pe când era el în Locuinţa morţilor, în chinuri, şi-a ridicat ochii în sus, a văzut de departe pe Avraam şi pe Lazăr în sânul lui

and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side.

Akkor így kiáltott: Atyám, Ábrahám, könyörülj rajtam, és küldd el Lázárt, hogy mártsa ujjának hegyét a vízbe, és hűsítse meg a nyelvemet, mert gyötrődöm e lángban!

És ő kiáltván, monda: Atyám Ábrahám! könyörülj rajtam, és bocsásd el Lázárt, hogy mártsa az ő ujjának hegyét vízbe, és hűsítse meg az én nyelvemet; mert gyötrettetem e lángban.

And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

şi a strigat: „Părinte Avraame, fie-ţi milă de mine şi trimite pe Lazăr să-şi înmoaie vârful degetului în apă şi să-mi răcorească limba; căci grozav sunt chinuit în văpaia aceasta.”

And he called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in this flame.’

Ábrahám pedig azt mondta: Fiam, emlékezz rá, hogy a jókat te megkaptad az életedben, hasonlóképpen Lázár is a rosszakat, neki most vigasztalásban van része, te pedig gyötrődsz.

Monda pedig Ábrahám: Fiam, emlékezzél meg róla, hogy te javaidat elvetted a te életedben, hasonlóképen Lázár is az ő bajait: most pedig ez vígasztaltatik, te pedig gyötrettetel.

But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

„Fiule”, i-a răspuns Avraam, „adu-ţi aminte că, în viaţa ta, tu ţi-ai luat lucrurile bune, şi Lazăr şi-a luat pe cele rele; acum aici, el este mângâiat, iar tu eşti chinuit.

But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and Lazarus in like manner bad things; but now he is comforted here, and you are in anguish.

Mindezeken felül köztünk és köztetek nagy szakadék tátong, úgyhogy akik át akarnának is menni innen hozzátok, nem mehetnek, sem azok onnan hozzánk át nem jöhetnek.

És mindenekfelett, mi köztünk és ti közöttetek nagy közbevetés van, úgy, hogy a kik akarnának innét ti hozzátok általmenni, nem mehetnek, sem azok onnét hozzánk át nem jöhetnek.

And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Pe lângă toate acestea, între noi şi între voi este o prăpastie mare, aşa ca cei ce ar vrea să treacă de aici la voi sau de acolo la noi să nu poată.”

And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, in order that those who would pass from here to you may not be able, and none may cross from there to us.’

Erre így szólt: Kérlek azért, Atyám, hogy akkor küldd el őt az apám házához,

Monda pedig amaz: Kérlek azért téged Atyám, hogy bocsásd el őt az én atyámnak házához;

Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

Bogatul a zis: „Rogu-te, dar, părinte Avraame, să trimiţi pe Lazăr în casa tatălui meu;

And he said, ‘Then I beg you, father, to send him to my father’s house—

mert van öt testvérem, hadd tegyen nekik bizonyságot, nehogy ők is e gyötrelem helyére jussanak.

Mert van öt testvérem; hogy bizonyságot tegyen nékik, hogy ők is ide, e gyötrelemnek helyére ne jussanak.

For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

căci am cinci fraţi, şi să le adeverească aceste lucruri, ca să nu vină şi ei în acest loc de chin.”

for I have five brothers—so that he may warn them, lest they also come into this place of torment.’

Azt mondta neki Ábrahám: Van Mózesük, és vannak prófétáik, hallgassák azokat!

Monda néki Ábrahám: Van Mózesök és prófétáik; hallgassák azokat.

Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

Avraam a răspuns: „Au pe Moise şi pe proroci; să asculte de ei.”

But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’

Az pedig így szólt: Nem úgy, atyám, Ábrahám, mert ha a halottak közül megy valaki hozzájuk, megtérnek.

Ama pedig monda: Nem úgy, atyám Ábrahám; hanem ha a halottak közül megy valaki hozzájok, megtérnek!

And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

„Nu, părinte Avraame”, a zis el, „ci dacă se va duce la ei cineva din morţi, se vor pocăi.”

And he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent.’

Ő pedig azt mondta neki: Ha Mózesre és a prófétákra nem hallgatnak, az sem győzi meg őket, ha valaki feltámad a halottak közül.

Ő pedig monda néki: Ha Mózesre és a prófétákra nem hallgatnak, az sem győzi meg őket, ha valaki a halottak közül feltámad.

And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Şi Avraam i-a răspuns: „Dacă nu ascultă pe Moise şi pe proroci, nu vor crede nici chiar dacă ar învia cineva din morţi.”

He said to him, ‘If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.’”
