Történt pedig egy szombati napon, hogy vetések között ment át, tanítványai pedig kalászokat szaggattak, és kezükkel szétmorzsolva ették.

Lőn pedig a [húsvét] szombatját követő második szombaton, hogy a vetések között méne által és az ő tanítványai gabonafejeket szaggatván és azokat kezeikkel kimorzsolván, ettek.

And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.

Într-o zi de Sabat, s-a întâmplat că Isus trecea prin lanurile de grâu. Ucenicii Lui smulgeau spice de grâu, le frecau cu mâinile şi le mâncau.

On a Sabbath, while he was going through the grainfields, his disciples plucked and ate some heads of grain, rubbing them in their hands.

Némelyek pedig a farizeusok közül így szóltak: Miért tesztek olyat, amit szombaton nem szabad?

Némelyek pedig a farizeusok közül mondának nékik: Miért cselekszitek azt, a mit szombatnapokon nem szabad cselekedni?

And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days?

Unii dintre farisei le-au zis: „Pentru ce faceţi ce nu este îngăduit să faceţi în ziua Sabatului?”

But some of the Pharisees said, “Why are you doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath?”

Jézus pedig így felelt nekik: Nem olvastátok, mit cselekedett Dávid, amikor ő és a vele levők megéheztek?

És felelvén Jézus, monda nékik: Nem olvastátok-é, mit cselekedett Dávid, mikor megéhezett ő és a kik vele voltak?

And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him;

Isus le-a răspuns: „Oare n-aţi citit ce a făcut David când a flămânzit, el şi cei ce erau împreună cu el?

And Jesus answered them, “Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, he and those who were with him:

Hogyan ment be az Úr házába, és vette el a szent kenyereket, megette, és adott azoknak is, akik vele voltak? Pedig azokat nem szabad másnak megennie, csak a papoknak.

Mi módon ment be az Úrnak házába és vette el a szent kenyereket és ette meg és adott azoknak is, a kik vele voltak, a melyeket [pedig] nem szabad megenni, hanem csak a papoknak?

How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?

Cum a intrat în Casa lui Dumnezeu, a luat pâinile pentru punerea înaintea Domnului, a mâncat din ele şi a dat şi celor ce erau cu el, măcar că nu era îngăduit să le mănânce decât preoţii?”

how he entered the house of God and took and ate the bread of the Presence, which is not lawful for any but the priests to eat, and also gave it to those with him?”

És azt mondta nekik: Az Emberfia ura a szombatnak.

És monda nékik: Az embernek Fia ura a szombatnak is.

And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

Şi le zicea: „Fiul omului este Domn chiar şi al Sabatului.”

And he said to them, “The Son of Man is lord of the Sabbath.”

Történt pedig egy másik szombaton, hogy a zsinagógába ment, és tanított. Volt ott egy ember, akinek a jobb keze el volt sorvadva.

Lőn pedig más szombaton is, hogy ő a zsinagógába méne és taníta, és vala ott egy ember, a kinek a jobb keze száradt volt.

And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.

În altă zi de Sabat, s-a întâmplat că Isus a intrat în sinagogă şi învăţa pe norod. Acolo era un om care avea mâna dreaptă uscată.

On another Sabbath, he entered the synagogue and was teaching, and a man was there whose right hand was withered.

Az írástudók és a farizeusok pedig leselkedtek Jézus után, hogy vajon gyógyít-e majd szombaton, hogy vádat emelhessenek ellene.

Az írástudók és farizeusok pedig leselkedének ő utána, ha vajjon gyógyít-e majd szombatnapon, hogy vádat találjanak ellene.

And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.

Cărturarii şi fariseii pândeau pe Isus, să vadă dacă-l va vindeca în ziua Sabatului, ca să aibă de ce să-L învinuiască.

And the scribes and the Pharisees watched him, to see whether he would heal on the Sabbath, so that they might find a reason to accuse him.

Ő pedig, ismerve gondolataikat, azt mondta a sorvadt kezű embernek: Kelj fel, és állj középre! Az felkelt és odaállt.

Ő pedig tudván azoknak gondolatait, monda a száradt kezű embernek: Kelj fel és állj elő! És felkelvén, előálla.

But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.

Dar El le ştia gândurile; şi a zis omului care avea mâna uscată: „Scoală-te şi stai în mijloc.” El s-a sculat şi a stat în picioare.

But he knew their thoughts, and he said to the man with the withered hand, “Come and stand here.” And he rose and stood there.

Akkor így szólt Jézus: Kérdezek valamit tőletek: szabad-e szombaton jót vagy rosszat tenni, életet menteni vagy kioltani?

Monda azért nékik Jézus: Valamit kérdek tőletek: Szabad-é szombaton jót tenni, vagy rosszat tenni? az életet megtartani, vagy elveszteni?

Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?

Şi Isus le-a zis: „Vă întreb: Este îngăduit în ziua Sabatului a face bine ori a face rău? A scăpa o viaţă sau a o pierde?”

And Jesus said to them, “I ask you, is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do harm, to save life or to destroy it?”

Majd végignézett mindnyájukon, és azt mondta az embernek: Nyújtsd ki a kezedet! Az pedig úgy cselekedett, és a keze tökéletesen meggyógyult.

És körültekintve mindnyájokon, monda az embernek: Nyújtsd ki a kezedet! Az pedig úgy cselekedék, és keze oly éppé lőn, mint a másik.

And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

Atunci, Şi-a rotit privirile peste toţi şi a zis omului: „Întinde-ţi mâna!” El a întins-o, şi mâna i s-a făcut sănătoasă ca şi cealaltă.

And after looking around at them all he said to him, “Stretch out your hand.” And he did so, and his hand was restored.

Azok pedig esztelen haraggal eltelve arról tanakodtak egymás között, hogy mit tegyenek Jézussal.

Azok pedig eltelének esztelenséggel és beszélgetnek vala egymás közt, hogy mit cselekedjenek Jézussal?

And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.

Ei turbau de mânie şi s-au sfătuit ce ar putea să facă lui Isus.

But they were filled with fury and discussed with one another what they might do to Jesus.

Azokban a napokban történt, hogy kiment a hegyre imádkozni, és az éjszakát Istenhez való imádkozással töltötte.

És lőn azokban a napokban, kiméne a hegyre imádkozni, és az éjszakát az Istenhez való imádkozásban tölté el.

And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles;

Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes,

Júdást, Jakab fiát és Iskáriótes Júdást, aki árulóvá lett.

And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.

Aztán lement velük, megállt egy síkságon, és vele együtt tanítványainak serege és a nép nagy sokasága egész Júdeából, Jeruzsálemből, Tírusz és Szidón tengermelléki vidékéről, akik azért jöttek, hogy hallgassák őt, és meggyógyuljanak betegségeikből.

És alámenvén ő velök, megálla a síkságon, és az ő tanítványainak serege és a népnek nagy sokasága egész Júdeából és Jeruzsálemből és Tírusnak és Sídonnak tengermelléki határából, a kik jöttek, hogy hallgassák őt és meggyógyíttassanak betegségeikből.

And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;

S-a coborât împreună cu ei şi S-a oprit într-un podiş unde se aflau mulţi ucenici de ai Lui şi o mare mulţime de oameni, care veniseră din toată Iudeea, din Ierusalim şi de pe lângă marea Tirului şi a Sidonului ca să-L asculte şi să fie vindecaţi de bolile lor.

And he came down with them and stood on a level place, with a great crowd of his disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem and the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon,

A tisztátalan lelkektől szenvedők meggyógyultak.

És a kik tisztátalan lelkektől gyötrettek, meggyógyulának.

And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed.

Cei chinuiţi de duhuri necurate erau vindecaţi.

who came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. And those who were troubled with unclean spirits were cured.

Az egész sokaság igyekezett őt megérinteni, mert erő áradt ki belőle, és mindenkit meggyógyított.

És az egész sokaság igyekezik vala őt illetni: mert erő származék belőle, és mindeneket meggyógyíta.

And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.

Şi tot norodul căuta să se atingă de El, pentru că din El ieşea o putere care-i vindeca pe toţi.

And all the crowd sought to touch him, for power came out from him and healed them all.

Ő pedig tanítványaira emelte szemét, és azt mondta: Boldogok vagytok, ti szegények, mert tiétek az Isten országa.

Ő pedig felemelvén szemeit az ő tanítványaira, monda: Boldogok [vagytok] ti szegények: mert tiétek az Isten országa.

And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.

Atunci Isus Şi-a ridicat ochii spre ucenicii Săi şi a zis: „Ferice de voi care sunteţi săraci, pentru că Împărăţia lui Dumnezeu este a voastră!

And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said: “Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.

Boldogok vagytok ti, akik most éheztek, mert megelégíttettek. Boldogok vagytok ti, akik most sírtok, mert nevetni fogtok.

Boldogok ti, kik most éheztek: mert megelégíttettek. Boldogok ti, kik most sírtok: mert nevetni fogtok.

Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.

Ferice de voi care sunteţi flămânzi acum, pentru că voi veţi fi săturaţi! Ferice de voi care plângeţi acum, pentru că voi veţi râde!

“Blessed are you who are hungry now, for you shall be satisfied. “Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh.

Boldogok vagytok, amikor gyűlölnek titeket az emberek, és kiközösítenek, és szidalmaznak titeket, és visszautasítják neveteket mint gonoszt az Emberfiáért.

Boldogok lesztek, mikor titeket az emberek gyűlölnek, és kirekesztenek, és szidalmaznak titeket, és kivetik a ti neveteket, mint gonoszt, az embernek Fiáért.

Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

Ferice de voi, când oamenii vă vor urî, vă vor izgoni dintre ei, vă vor ocărî şi vor lepăda numele vostru ca ceva rău, din pricina Fiului omului!

“Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man!

Örüljetek azon a napon és ujjongjatok, mert íme, nagy a ti jutalmatok a mennyben, hiszen atyáik ugyanígy tettek a prófétákkal.

Örüljetek azon a napon és örvendezzetek; mert ímé a ti jutalmatok bőséges a mennyben; hiszen hasonlóképen cselekedtek a prófétákkal az ő atyáik.

Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

Bucuraţi-vă în ziua aceea şi săltaţi de veselie; pentru că răsplata voastră este mare în cer; căci tot aşa făceau părinţii lor cu prorocii.

Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for so their fathers did to the prophets.

De jaj nektek, gazdagok, mert vigasztalásotokat már megkaptátok!

De jaj néktek, gazdagoknak, mert elvettétek a ti vigasztalástokat.

But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.

Dar, vai de voi, bogaţilor, pentru că voi v-aţi primit aici mângâierea!

“But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation.

Jaj nektek, kik most beteltetek, mert éhezni fogtok! Jaj nektek, kik most nevettek, mert sírni és gyászolni fogtok!

Jaj néktek, kik beteltetek; mert éhezni fogtok. Jaj néktek, kik most nevettek; mert sírni és jajgatni fogtok.

Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.

Vai de voi care sunteţi sătui acum! Pentru că voi veţi flămânzi! Vai de voi care râdeţi acum, pentru că voi veţi plânge şi vă veţi tângui!

“Woe to you who are full now, for you shall be hungry. “Woe to you who laugh now, for you shall mourn and weep.

Jaj nektek, ha minden ember jót mond felőletek, mert éppen így tettek atyáik a hamis prófétákkal!

Jaj néktek, mikor minden ember jót mond felőletek; mert épen így cselekedtek a hamis prófétákkal az ő atyáik.

Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

Vai de voi, când toţi oamenii vă vor grăi de bine! Fiindcă tot aşa făceau părinţii lor cu prorocii mincinoşi!

“Woe to you, when all people speak well of you, for so their fathers did to the false prophets.

De nektek, akik hallgattok engem, azt mondom: Szeressétek ellenségeiteket, tegyetek jót azokkal, akik titeket gyűlölnek!

De néktek mondom, kik [engem] hallgattok: Szeressétek ellenségeiteket, jól tegyetek azokkal, a kik titeket gyűlölnek,

But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

Dar Eu vă spun vouă care Mă ascultaţi: Iubiţi pe vrăjmaşii voştri, faceţi bine celor ce vă urăsc,

“But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,

Áldjátok azokat, akik titeket átkoznak, és imádkozzatok azokért, akik gonoszul bánnak veletek!

Áldjátok azokat, a kik titeket átkoznak, és imádkozzatok azokért, a kik titeket háborgatnak.

Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

binecuvântaţi pe cei ce vă blestemă, rugaţi-vă pentru cei ce se poartă rău cu voi.

bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.

Annak, aki megüti egyik arcodat, fordítsd oda a másikat is, és aki felsőruhádat elveszi, attól ne tartsd vissza az alsóruhádat sem.

A ki [egyik] arczodat megüti, fordítsd néki a másikat is; és attól, a ki felső ruhádat elveszi, ne vond meg alsó ruhádat se.

And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also.

Dacă te bate cineva peste o falcă, întoarce-i şi pe cealaltă. Dacă îţi ia cineva haina cu sila, nu-l opri să-ţi ia şi cămaşa.

To one who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also, and from one who takes away your cloak do not withhold your tunic either.

Adj mindenkinek, aki kér tőled, és aki elveszi a tiedet, attól ne kérd vissza.

Mindennek pedig, a ki tőled kér, adj; és attól, a ki elveszi a tiédet, ne kérd vissza.

Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.

Oricui îţi cere, dă-i; şi celui ce-ţi ia cu sila ale tale, nu i le cere înapoi.

Give to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods do not demand them back.

Úgy bánjatok az emberekkel, ahogy szeretnétek, hogy veletek is bánjanak.

És a mint akarjátok, hogy az emberek veletek cselekedjenek, ti is akképen cselekedjetek azokkal.

And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

Ce voiţi să vă facă vouă oamenii, faceţi-le şi voi la fel.

And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.

Mert ha csak azokat szeretitek, akik titeket szeretnek, mi jutalmatok van? Hiszen a bűnösök is szeretik azokat, akik őket szeretik.

Mert ha [csak] azokat szeretitek, a kik titeket szeretnek, mi jutalmatok van? Hiszen a bűnösök is szeretik azokat, a kik őket szeretik.

For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.

Dacă iubiţi pe cei ce vă iubesc, ce răsplată vi se cuvine? Şi păcătoşii iubesc pe cei ce-i iubesc pe ei.

“If you love those who love you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.

És ha csak azokkal tesztek jót, akik veletek jót tesznek, mi jutalmatok van? Hiszen a bűnösök is ugyanazt cselekszik.

És ha [csak] azokkal tesztek jól, a kik veletek jól tesznek, mi jutalmatok van? Hiszen a bűnösök is ugyanazt cselekszik.

And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.

Dacă faceţi bine celor ce vă fac bine, ce răsplată vi se cuvine? Şi păcătoşii fac aşa.

And if you do good to those who do good to you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.

És ha csak azoknak adtok kölcsön, akiktől remélitek, hogy visszakapjátok, mi jutalmatok van? Hiszen a bűnösök is adnak kölcsön a bűnösöknek, hogy ugyanannyit kapjanak vissza.

És ha [csak] azoknak adtok kölcsönt, a kiktől reménylitek, hogy visszakapjátok, mi jutalmatok van? Hiszen a bűnösök is adnak kölcsönt a bűnösöknek, hogy ugyanannyit kapjanak vissza.

And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.

Şi dacă daţi cu împrumut acelora de la care nădăjduiţi să luaţi înapoi, ce răsplată vi se cuvine? Şi păcătoşii dau cu împrumut păcătoşilor, ca să ia înapoi întocmai.

And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to get back the same amount.

Hanem szeressétek ellenségeiteket, tegyetek jót, és adjatok kölcsön, semmit sem várva, és nagy lesz a jutalmatok, és a magasságos Isten fiai lesztek, mert ő jóságos a háládatlanokhoz és a gonoszokhoz is.

Hanem szeressétek ellenségeiteket, és jól tegyetek, és adjatok kölcsönt, semmit érte nem várván; és a ti jutalmatok sok lesz, és ama magasságos [Istennek] fiai lesztek: mert ő jóltévő a háládatlanokkal és gonoszokkal.

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

Voi însă iubiţi pe vrăjmaşii voştri, faceţi bine şi daţi cu împrumut, fără să nădăjduiţi ceva în schimb. Şi răsplata voastră va fi mare şi veţi fi fiii Celui Preaînalt; căci El este bun şi cu cei nemulţumitori şi cu cei răi.

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.

Legyetek irgalmasok, mint ahogyan Atyátok is irgalmas.

Legyetek azért irgalmasok, mint a ti Atyátok is irgalmas.

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

Fiţi, dar, milostivi cum şi Tatăl vostru este milostiv.

Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.

Ne ítéljetek, és nem ítéltettek, ne kárhoztassatok, és nem lesz kárhoztatásotok, bocsássatok meg, és nektek is megbocsátanak;

Ne ítéljetek és nem ítéltettek; ne kárhoztassatok és nem kárhoztattok; megbocsássatok, néktek is megbocsáttatik;

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Nu judecaţi, şi nu veţi fi judecaţi; nu osândiţi, şi nu veţi fi osândiţi; iertaţi, şi vi se va ierta.

“Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven;

adjatok, és nektek is adnak, jó mértéket, megnyomottat és megrázottat, színig teltet adnak öletekbe. Mert azzal a mértékkel mérnek nektek, amellyel ti mértek.

Adjatok, néktek is adatik; jó mértéket, megnyomottat és megrázottat, színig teltet adnak a ti öletekbe. Mert azzal a mértékkel mérnek néktek, a melylyel ti mértek.

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Daţi, şi vi se va da; ba încă, vi se va turna în sân o măsură bună, îndesată, clătinată, care se va vărsa pe deasupra. Căci cu ce măsură veţi măsura, cu aceea vi se va măsura.”

give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”

Példabeszédet is mondott nekik: Vajon a vak vezetheti-e a világtalant? Nem esnek-e mindketten a gödörbe?

Példabeszédet is monda nékik: Vajjon a vak vezetheti-é a világtalant? avagy nem mindketten a verembe esnek-é?

And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?

Miért látod meg a szálkát a te atyádfiának a szemében, és nem veszed észre a gerendát a saját szemedben?

Miért nézed pedig a szálkát, a mely a te atyádfia szemében van, a gerendát pedig, mely a te saját szemedben van, nem veszed észre?

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

De ce vezi tu paiul din ochiul fratelui tău şi nu te uiţi cu băgare de seamă la bârna din ochiul tău?

Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?

Hogyan mondhatod atyádfiának: Atyámfia, hadd vegyem ki a szálkát a szemedből, holott te még a szemedben levő gerendát sem látod? Te képmutató, vesd ki először a gerendát a saját szemedből, és csak azután láss hozzá, hogy kivedd a szálkát a te atyádfiának szeméből!

Avagy mi módon mondhatod a te atyádfiának: Atyámfia, hadd vessem ki a szálkát a te szemedből, holott te a te szemedben lévő gerendát nem látod. Te képmutató, vesd ki először a gerendát a te szemedből és azután gondolj arra, hogy kivesd a szálkát, a mely a te atyádfia szemében van.

Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.

Sau cum poţi să zici fratelui tău: „Frate, lasă-mă să-ţi scot paiul din ochi”, şi, când colo, tu nu vezi bârna din ochiul tău? Făţarnicule, scoate întâi bârna din ochiul tău, şi atunci vei vedea desluşit să scoţi paiul din ochiul fratelui tău.

How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother’s eye.

For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Minden fát a gyümölcséről lehet megismerni, mert a tövisről nem szednek fügét, és a csipkebokorról sem szüretelnek szőlőt.

Mert minden fa az ő tulajdon gyümölcséről ismertetik meg; mert a tövisről nem szednek fügét, sem a szederindáról nem szednek szőlőt.

For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.

Căci orice pom se cunoaşte după rodul lui. Nu se strâng smochine din spini, nici nu se culeg struguri din mărăcini.

for each tree is known by its own fruit. For figs are not gathered from thornbushes, nor are grapes picked from a bramble bush.

A jó ember szívének jó kincséből hoz elő jót, a gonosz ember pedig az ő szívének gonosz kincséből hoz elő gonoszt, mert amivel telve van a szív, azt mondja a száj.

A jó ember az ő szívének jó kincséből hoz elő jót; és a gonosz ember az ő szívének gonosz kincséből hoz elő gonoszt: mert a szívnek teljességéből szól az ő szája.

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Omul bun scoate lucruri bune din vistieria bună a inimii lui, iar omul rău scoate lucruri rele din vistieria rea a inimii lui; căci din prisosul inimii vorbeşte gura.

The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

Miért mondjátok nekem: „Uram, Uram”, ha nem teszitek meg azt, amit mondok?

Miért mondjátok pedig nékem: Uram! Uram! ha nem mívelitek, a miket mondok?

And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

De ce-Mi ziceţi: „Doamne, Doamne!”, şi nu faceţi ce spun Eu?

“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?

Aki hozzám jön, hallgatja a beszédemet, és aszerint cselekszik, megmondom nektek, mihez hasonló.

Valaki én hozzám jő és hallgatja az én beszédimet és azokat megtartja, megmondom néktek, mihez hasonló.

Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:

Vă voi arăta cu cine se aseamănă orice om care vine la Mine, aude cuvintele Mele şi le face.

Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like:

Hasonló egy olyan házépítő emberhez, aki mélyre ásott, és kősziklára helyezte az alapokat. Amikor aztán jött az árvíz, beleütközött a folyam árja abba a házba, de meg sem mozdíthatta, mert kősziklára épült.

Hasonló valamely házépítő emberhez, a ki leásott és mélyre hatolt, és kősziklára vetett fundamentomot: mikor aztán árvíz lett, beleütközött a folyóvíz abba a házba, de azt meg nem mozdíthatta: mert kősziklán épült.

He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

Se aseamănă cu un om care, când a zidit o casă, a săpat adânc înainte şi a aşezat temelia pe stâncă. A venit o vărsare de ape şi s-a năpustit şuvoiul peste casa aceea, dar n-a putut s-o clatine, pentru că era zidită pe stâncă.

he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.

Aki pedig hallgatja, de nem cselekszik aszerint, hasonló ahhoz az emberhez, aki alapok nélkül, csak a földre építette házát, és amikor jött az ár, azonnal összeomlott a ház, és teljesen elpusztult.

A ki pedig hallgatja, de nem tartja meg, hasonló ahhoz az emberhez, a ki [csak] a földön építette házát fundamentom nélkül: a melybe beleütközvén a folyóvíz, azonnal összeomlott; és nagy lett annak a háznak romlása.

But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
