Egyszer, amikor egy helyen imádkozott, miután befejezte, azt mondta neki egyik tanítványa: Uram, taníts minket imádkozni, mint ahogy János is tanította a tanítványait!

És lőn, mikor ő imádkozék egy helyen, minekutána elvégezte, monda néki egy az ő tanítványai közül: Uram, taníts minket imádkozni, miképen János is tanította az ő tanítványait.

And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.

Într-o zi, Isus Se ruga într-un loc anumit. Când a isprăvit rugăciunea, unul din ucenicii Lui I-a zis: „Doamne, învaţă-ne să ne rugăm, cum a învăţat şi Ioan pe ucenicii lui.”

Now Jesus was praying in a certain place, and when he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.”

Ő pedig így szólt: Amikor imádkoztok, ezt mondjátok: Atyánk, szenteltessék meg a te neved. Jöjjön el a te országod.

Monda pedig nékik: Mikor imádkoztok, [ezt] mondjátok: Mi Atyánk, ki vagy a mennyekben, szenteltessék meg a te neved. Jőjjön el a te országod. Legyen meg a te akaratod, miképen a mennyben, azonképen e földön is.

And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

El le-a zis: „Când vă rugaţi, să ziceţi: Tatăl nostru care eşti în ceruri! Sfinţească-se Numele Tău; vie Împărăţia Ta; facă-se voia Ta, precum în cer, aşa şi pe pământ.

And he said to them, “When you pray, say: “Father, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come.

Mindennapi kenyerünket add meg nekünk naponként.

Give us day by day our daily bread.

Pâinea noastră cea de toate zilele dă-ne-o nouă în fiecare zi;

Give us each day our daily bread,

És bocsásd meg a mi bűneinket, mert mi is megbocsátunk minden ellenünk vétkezőnek. És ne vígy minket kísértésbe.

És bocsásd meg nékünk a mi bűneinket; mert mi is megbocsátunk mindeneknek, a kik nékünk adósok. És ne vígy minket kisértetbe; de szabadíts meg minket a gonosztól.

And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

şi ne iartă nouă păcatele noastre, fiindcă şi noi iertăm oricui ne este dator; şi nu ne duce în ispită, ci izbăveşte-ne de cel rău.”

and forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation.”

Aztán így szólt hozzájuk: Ki az közületek, akinek van egy barátja, és az elmegy hozzá éjfélkor, és azt mondja neki: Barátom, adj nekem kölcsön három kenyeret,

És monda nékik: Ki az közületek, a kinek barátja van, és ahhoz megy éjfélkor, és ezt mondja néki: Barátom, adj nékem kölcsön három kenyeret,

And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves;

And he said to them, “Which of you who has a friend will go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves,

mert egy úton levő barátom érkezett hozzám, és nincs mit adjak neki!

Mert az én barátom én hozzám jött az útról, és nincs mit adjak ennie;

For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him?

căci a venit la mine de pe drum un prieten al meu şi n-am ce-i pune înainte”;

for a friend of mine has arrived on a journey, and I have nothing to set before him’;

Az pedig onnan belülről így válaszolna: Ne zavarj engem, az ajtó már be van zárva, és a gyermekeim velem vannak már az ágyban, nem kelhetek fel, hogy valamit is adjak neked.

Az pedig onnét belőlről felelvén, ezt mondaná: Ne bánts engem: immár az ajtó be van zárva, és az én gyermekeim velem vannak az ágyban; nem kelhetek fel, és nem adhatok néked?

And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.

şi dacă, dinăuntrul casei lui, prietenul acesta îi răspunde: „Nu mă tulbura; acum uşa este încuiată, copiii mei sunt cu mine în pat, nu pot să mă scol să-ţi dau pâini” –

and he will answer from within, ‘Do not bother me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed. I cannot get up and give you anything’?

Mondom nektek, ha azért nem is fog felkelni és adni neki, mert a barátja, de tolakodása miatt felkel, és ad neki, amennyi csak kell.

Mondom néktek, ha azért nem fog is felkelni és adni néki, mert az barátja, de annak tolakodása miatt felkél és ád néki, a mennyi kell.

I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.

vă spun: chiar dacă nu s-ar scula să i le dea, pentru că-i este prieten, totuşi, măcar pentru stăruinţa lui supărătoare, tot se va scula şi-i va da tot ce-i trebuie.

I tell you, though he will not get up and give him anything because he is his friend, yet because of his impudence he will rise and give him whatever he needs.

Én is mondom nektek: Kérjetek, és adatik nektek, keressetek, és találtok, zörgessetek, és megnyittatik nektek.

Én is mondom néktek: Kérjetek és megadatik néktek; keressetek és találtok; zörgessetek és megnyittatik néktek.

And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

De aceea şi Eu vă spun: cereţi, şi vi se va da; căutaţi, şi veţi găsi; bateţi, şi vi se va deschide.

And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

Mert aki kér, mind kap, és aki keres, talál, és a zörgetőnek megnyittatik.

Mert a ki kér, mind kap; és a ki keres, talál; és a zörgetőnek megnyittatik.

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Fiindcă oricine cere capătă; cine caută găseşte; şi celui ce bate i se deschide.

For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.

Ugyan melyik apa az közületek, aki a fiának követ ad, amikor az kenyeret kér, és kígyót ad, amikor az halat kér?

Melyik atya pedig az közületek, a kitől a fia kenyeret kér, [és] ő talán követ ád néki? vagy ha halat, vajjon a hal helyett kígyót ád-é néki?

If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

Cine este tatăl acela dintre voi, care, dacă-i cere fiul său pâine, să-i dea o piatră? Ori, dacă cere un peşte, să-i dea un şarpe în loc de peşte?

What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent;

Vagy ha tojást kér, vajon skorpiót ad-e neki?

Avagy ha tojást kér, vajjon skorpiót ád-é néki?

Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

Sau, dacă cere un ou, să-i dea un scorpion?

or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?

Ha azért ti gonosz létetekre tudtok a fiaitoknak jó ajándékokat adni, mennyivel inkább ad mennyei Atyátok Szentlelket azoknak, akik kérik tőle!

Ha azért ti gonosz létetekre tudtok a ti fiaitoknak jó ajándékokat adni, mennyivel inkább ád a ti mennyei Atyátok Szent Lelket azoknak, a kik tőle kérik.

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Deci, dacă voi, care sunteţi răi, ştiţi să daţi daruri bune copiilor voştri, cu cât mai mult Tatăl vostru cel din ceruri va da Duhul Sfânt celor ce I-L cer!”

If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

Majd néma ördögöt űzött ki, és ahogy kiment az ördög, megszólalt a néma, a sokaság pedig csodálkozott.

És ördögöt űz vala ki, mely néma vala. És lőn, mikor kiment az ördög, megszólala a néma; és csodálkozék a sokaság.

And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered.

Isus a scos dintr-un bolnav un drac care era mut. După ce a ieşit dracul, mutul a grăit, şi noroadele s-au mirat.

Now he was casting out a demon that was mute. When the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke, and the people marveled.

Némelyek azt mondták közülük, hogy Belzebub, az ördögök fejedelme által űzi ki az ördögöket.

Némelyek pedig azok közül mondának: A Belzebúb által, az ördögök fejedelme által űzi ki az ördögöket.

But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.

Dar unii ziceau: „El scoate dracii cu Beelzebul, domnul dracilor.”

But some of them said, “He casts out demons by Beelzebul, the prince of demons,”

Mások pedig kísértve őt mennyei jelt kértek tőle.

Mások meg, kísértvén őt, mennyei jelt kívánának tőle.

And others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven.

Alţii, ca să-L ispitească, Îi cereau un semn din cer.

while others, to test him, kept seeking from him a sign from heaven.

Ő pedig, ismerve gondolataikat, azt mondta nekik: Minden ország, amely önmagával meghasonlik, elpusztul, és ház házra dől.

Ő pedig tudván azoknak gondolatát, monda nékik: Minden ország, a mely magával meghasonlik, elpusztul; és ház a házzal ha [meghasonlik,] leomlik.

But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.

Isus le-a cunoscut gândurile şi le-a zis: „Orice împărăţie dezbinată împotriva ei este pustiită; şi o casă dezbinată împotriva ei se prăbuşeşte peste alta.

But he, knowing their thoughts, said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and a divided household falls.

Ha a Sátán önmagával meghasonlik, hogyan állhat meg az országa? Mert az mondjátok, hogy én Belzebub segítségével űzöm ki az ördögöket.

És a Sátán is ha ő magával meghasonlik, mimódon állhat meg az ő országa? mert azt mondjátok, hogy én a Belzebúb által űzöm ki az ördögöket.

If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.

Deci, dacă Satana este dezbinat împotriva lui însuşi, cum va dăinui împărăţia lui, fiindcă ziceţi că Eu scot dracii cu Beelzebul?

And if Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say that I cast out demons by Beelzebul.

És ha én Belzebub segítségével űzöm ki az ördögöket, a ti fiaitok kinek a segítségével űzik ki őket? Azért ők maguk lesznek a ti bíráitok.

És ha én a Belzebúb által űzöm ki az ördögöket, a ti fiaitok ki által űzik ki? Annakokáért ők maguk lesznek a ti bíráitok.

And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.

Şi dacă Eu scot dracii cu Beelzebul, fiii voştri cu cine îi scot? De aceea ei înşişi vor fi judecătorii voştri.

And if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges.

Ha pedig Isten ujjával űzöm ki az ördögöket, kétség nélkül elérkezett hozzátok az Isten országa.

Ha pedig Isten ujjával űzöm ki az ördögöket, kétség nélkül elérkezett hozzátok az Isten országa.

But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.

Dar, dacă Eu scot dracii cu degetul lui Dumnezeu, Împărăţia lui Dumnezeu a ajuns până la voi.

But if it is by the finger of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Amikor az erős fegyveres őrzi a palotáját, vagyona biztonságban van,

Mikor az erős fegyveres őrzi az ő palotáját, a mije van, békességben van;

When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:

Când omul cel tare şi bine înarmat îşi păzeşte casa, averile îi sunt la adăpost.

When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are safe;

de ha egy nála erősebb megtámadja és legyőzi őt, minden fegyverét elveszi, amelyben bízott, és szétosztja, amit tőle zsákmányol.

De mikor a nálánál erősebb reá jövén legyőzi őt, minden fegyverét elveszi, melyhez bízott, és a mit tőle zsákmányol, elosztja.

But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.

Dar dacă vine peste el unul mai tare decât el şi-l biruie, atunci îi ia cu sila toate armele în care se încredea şi împarte prăzile luate de la el.

but when one stronger than he attacks him and overcomes him, he takes away his armor in which he trusted and divides his spoil.

Aki nincs velem, ellenem van, és aki nem gyűjt velem, az tékozol.

A ki velem nincs, ellenem van; és a ki velem nem takar, tékozol.

He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.

Cine nu este cu Mine este împotriva Mea; şi cine nu adună cu Mine risipeşte.

Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.

Amikor a tisztátalan lélek kimegy az emberből, víz nélküli helyeken kóborol nyugalmat keresve, és amikor nem talál, azt mondja: Visszatérek házamba, ahonnan kijöttem.

Mikor a tisztátalan lélek kimegy az emberből, víz nélkül való helyeken jár, nyugalmat keresvén; és mikor nem talál, [ezt] mondja: Visszatérek az én házamba, a honnét kijöttem.

When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.

Duhul necurat, când iese afară dintr-un om, umblă prin locuri fără apă şi caută odihnă. Fiindcă n-o găseşte, zice: „Mă voi întoarce în casa mea, de unde am ieşit.”

“When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and finding none it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’

És amikor odamenve kisöpörve és felékesítve találja,

És [oda] menvén, kisöpörve és felékesítve találja azt.

And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.

Şi, când vine, o găseşte măturată şi împodobită.

And when it comes, it finds the house swept and put in order.

akkor elmegy, és maga mellé vesz hét másik lelket, magánál gonoszabbakat, és bemenve ott lakoznak, és annak az embernek az utóbbi állapota rosszabb lesz az elsőnél.

Akkor elmegy, és maga mellé vesz más hét lelket, magánál gonoszabbakat, és bemenvén ott lakoznak; és annak az embernek utolsó állapota gonoszabb lesz az elsőnél.

Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.

Atunci se duce de mai ia cu el alte şapte duhuri, mai rele decât el; intră împreună în casă, se aşază în ea, şi starea de pe urmă a omului aceluia ajunge mai rea decât cea dintâi.”

Then it goes and brings seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there. And the last state of that person is worse than the first.”

Amikor ezeket mondta, fölemelte a szavát egy asszony a sokaságból, és azt mondta neki: Boldog a méh, amely téged hordozott, és boldogok az emlők, amelyeket szoptál.

Lőn pedig mikor ezeket mondá, fölemelvén szavát egy asszony a sokaság közül, monda néki: Boldog méh, a mely téged hordozott, és az emlők, melyeket szoptál.

And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.

Pe când spunea Isus aceste vorbe, o femeie din norod şi-a ridicat glasul şi a zis: „Ferice de pântecele care Te-a purtat şi de ţâţele pe care le-ai supt!”

As he said these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts at which you nursed!”

Ő pedig azt mondta: Hát még azok milyen boldogok, akik hallgatják az Isten beszédét és megtartják!

Ő pedig monda: Sőt inkább boldogok a kik hallgatják az Istennek beszédét, és megtartják azt.

But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

Şi El a răspuns: „Ferice mai degrabă de cei ce ascultă Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu şi-l păzesc!”

But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”

Amikor pedig még nagyobb sokaság gyűlt köréje, elkezdett beszélni: Ez a nemzedék gonosz nemzedék. Jelt kíván, de nem adatik neki más jel, hanem csak Jónás próféta jele.

Mikor pedig a sokaság hozzá gyülekezék, kezdé mondani: E nemzetség gonosz: jelt kíván, de jel nem adatik néki, hanem ha Jónás prófétának ama jele;

And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.

Pe când noroadele se strângeau cu grămada, El a început să spună: „Neamul acesta este un neam viclean; el cere un semn; dar nu i se va da alt semn decât semnul prorocului Iona.

When the crowds were increasing, he began to say, “This generation is an evil generation. It seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.

Mert ahogy Jónás jel volt a niniveieknek, úgy lesz jel az Emberfia is ennek a nemzedéknek.

Mert miképen Jónás jelül volt a Ninivebelieknek, azonképen lesz az embernek Fia is e nemzetségnek.

For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.

Căci după cum Iona a fost un semn pentru niniveni, tot aşa şi Fiul omului va fi un semn pentru neamul acesta.

For as Jonah became a sign to the people of Nineveh, so will the Son of Man be to this generation.

Dél királynője felkel majd az ítéletkor e nemzedék férfiaival, és elítéli őket, mert ő eljött a föld legvégéről, hogy hallhassa Salamon bölcsességét, és íme, nagyobb van itt Salamonnál.

A Délnek királynéasszonya felkél majd az ítéletkor e nemzetség férfiaival, és kárhoztatja őket: mert ő eljött a földnek széléről, hogy hallhassa a Salamon bölcseségét; és ímé nagyobb van itt Salamonnál.

The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

Împărăteasa de la miazăzi se va scula, în ziua judecăţii, alături de bărbaţii acestui neam şi-i va osândi; pentru că ea a venit de la capătul pământului ca să audă înţelepciunea lui Solomon; şi iată că aici este Unul mai mare decât Solomon.

The queen of the South will rise up at the judgment with the men of this generation and condemn them, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something greater than Solomon is here.

Ninive férfiai az ítéletkor majd együtt támadnak fel ezzel a nemzedékkel, és elítélik ezt, mert ők megtértek Jónás prédikálására, és íme, nagyobb van itt Jónásnál.

Ninive férfiai az ítéletkor együtt támadnak majd fel e nemzetséggel, és kárhoztatják ezt: mivelhogy ők megtértek a Jónás prédikálására; és ímé nagyobb van itt Jónásnál.

The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

Bărbaţii din Ninive se vor scula, în ziua judecăţii, alături de neamul acesta şi-l vor osândi, pentru că ei s-au pocăit la propovăduirea lui Iona; şi iată că aici este Unul mai mare decât Iona.

The men of Nineveh will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here.

Senki sem gyújt lámpát azért, hogy egy eldugott helyre vagy a véka alá tegye, hanem a lámpatartóba, hogy akik bemennek, lássák a világosságot.

Senki pedig, ha gyertyát gyújt, nem teszi rejtekbe, sem a véka alá, hanem a gyertyatartóba, hogy a kik bemennek, lássák a világosságot.

No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.

Nimeni n-aprinde o lumină, ca s-o pună într-un loc ascuns sau sub baniţă; ci o pune într-un sfeşnic, pentru ca cei ce intră să vadă lumina.

“No one after lighting a lamp puts it in a cellar or under a basket, but on a stand, so that those who enter may see the light.

A test lámpása a szem: ha a szemed tiszta, egész tested is világos lesz, ha pedig a szemed gonosz, a tested is sötét.

A testnek lámpása a szem: ha azért a te szemed őszinte, a te egész tested is világos lesz; ha pedig [a] [te szemed] gonosz, a te tested is sötét.

The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.

Ochiul este lumina trupului tău. Dacă ochiul tău este sănătos, tot trupul tău este plin de lumină; dar dacă ochiul tău este rău, trupul tău este plin de întuneric.

Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is full of light, but when it is bad, your body is full of darkness.

Vigyázz azért, hogy a benned levő világosság sötétséggé ne legyen!

Meglásd azért, hogy a világosság, mely te benned van, sötétség ne legyen.

Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.

Ia seama, dar, ca lumina care este în tine să nu fie întuneric.

Therefore be careful lest the light in you be darkness.

Azért ha a te egész tested világos, és nincs benne semmi sötétség, olyan fényes lesz az egész, mint amikor a lámpa megvilágosít téged fényével.

Annakokáért ha a te egész tested világos, és semmi részében sincs homályosság, olyan világos lesz egészen, mint mikor a lámpás megvilágosít téged az ő világosságával.

If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.

Aşa că, dacă tot trupul tău este plin de lumină, fără să aibă vreo parte întunecată, va fi în totul plin de lumină, întocmai ca atunci când te-ar lumina o lampă cu lumina ei mare.”

If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, it will be wholly bright, as when a lamp with its rays gives you light.”

Amikor beszélt, egy farizeus arra kérte, hogy ebédeljen nála. Bement azért, és asztalhoz telepedett.

Beszéd közben pedig kéré őt egy farizeus, hogy ebédeljen nála. Bemenvén azért, leüle enni.

And as he spake, a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him: and he went in, and sat down to meat.

Pe când vorbea Isus, un fariseu L-a rugat să prânzească la el. El a intrat şi a şezut la masă.

While Jesus was speaking, a Pharisee asked him to dine with him, so he went in and reclined at table.

A farizeus pedig, amikor látta, hogy ebéd előtt nem mosdott meg, elcsodálkozott.

A farizeus pedig mikor [ezt] látta, elcsodálkozék, hogy ebéd előtt előbb nem mosdott meg.

And when the Pharisee saw it, he marvelled that he had not first washed before dinner.

Fariseul a văzut cu mirare că Isus nu Se spălase înainte de prânz.

The Pharisee was astonished to see that he did not first wash before dinner.

Az Úr pedig azt mondta neki: Ti, farizeusok a pohár és a tál külső részét megtisztítjátok ugyan, de belül telve vagytok rablásvággyal és gonoszsággal.

Monda pedig az Úr néki: Ti farizeusok jóllehet a pohárnak és tálnak külső részét megtisztítjátok; de a belsőtök rakva ragadománynyal és gonoszsággal.

And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.

Dar Domnul i-a zis: „Voi, fariseii, curăţaţi partea de afară a paharului şi a blidului, dar lăuntrul vostru este plin de jefuire şi de răutate.

And the Lord said to him, “Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness.

Bolondok! Nem az alkotta a külsőt is, mint aki a belsőt?

Bolondok, a ki azt teremtette, a mi kívül van, nem ugyanaz teremtette-é azt is, a mi belől van?

Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also?

Nebunilor, oare Acela care a făcut partea de afară n-a făcut şi pe cea dinăuntru?

You fools! Did not he who made the outside make the inside also?

Adjátok oda alamizsnaként azt, ami belül van, és mindenetek tiszta lesz.

Csak adjátok alamizsnául a mi benne van; és minden tiszta lesz néktek.

But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you.

Daţi mai bine milostenie din lucrurile dinăuntru, şi atunci toate vă vor fi curate.

But give as alms those things that are within, and behold, everything is clean for you.

De jaj nektek, farizeusok, mert megadjátok a tizedet a mentából, rutából és minden zöldségből, de mellőzitek az ítéletet és az Isten iránti szeretetet, pedig ezeket kellene cselekedni és amazokat sem elhagyni!

De jaj néktek farizeusok! mert megadjátok a dézsmát a mentától, rutától és minden paréjtól, de hátra hagyjátok az ítéletet és az Isten szeretetét: pedig ezeket kellene cselekedni, és amazokat sem elhagyni.

But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Dar vai de voi, fariseilor! Pentru că voi daţi zeciuială din izmă, din rută şi din toate zarzavaturile, şi daţi uitării dreptatea şi dragostea de Dumnezeu: pe acestea trebuia să le faceţi, şi pe celelalte să nu le lăsaţi nefăcute!

“But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and every herb, and neglect justice and the love of God. These you ought to have done, without neglecting the others.

Jaj néktek farizeusok! mert szeretitek az előlülést a gyülekezetekben, és a piaczokon való köszöntéseket.

Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.

Vai de voi, fariseilor! Pentru că voi umblaţi după scaunele dintâi la sinagogi şi vă place să vă facă lumea plecăciuni prin pieţe!

Woe to you Pharisees! For you love the best seat in the synagogues and greetings in the marketplaces.

Jaj nektek, mert olyanok vagytok, mint a jeltelen sírok, és az emberek, akik azokon járnak, mit sem tudnak róla!

Jaj néktek képmutató írástudók és farizeusok! mert olyanok vagytok, mint a sírok, a melyek nem látszanak, és az emberek, a kik azokon járnak, nem tudják.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them.

Vai de voi, cărturari şi farisei făţarnici! Pentru că voi sunteţi ca mormintele care nu se văd şi peste care oamenii umblă fără să ştie.”

Woe to you! For you are like unmarked graves, and people walk over them without knowing it.”

Az egyik törvénytudó ekkor azt mondta neki: Mester, amikor ezeket mondod, minket is bántasz.

Felelvén pedig egy a törvénytudók közül, monda néki: Mester, mikor ezeket mondod, minket is bántasz.

Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus saying thou reproachest us also.

Unul din învăţătorii Legii a luat cuvântul şi I-a zis: „Învăţătorule, spunând aceste lucruri ne ocărăşti şi pe noi.”

One of the lawyers answered him, “Teacher, in saying these things you insult us also.”

Ő pedig azt mondta: Jaj nektek is, törvénytudók, mert elhordozhatatlan terhekkel terhelitek meg az embereket, de ti magatok egy ujjatokkal sem érintitek azokat!

Ő pedig monda: Jaj néktek is törvénytudók! mert elhordozhatatlan terhekkel terhelitek meg az embereket, de ti magatok egy ujjotokkal sem illetitek azokat a terheket.

And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.

„Vai şi de voi, învăţători ai Legii”, a răspuns Isus. „Pentru că voi puneţi pe spinarea oamenilor sarcini grele de purtat, iar voi nici măcar cu unul din degetele voastre nu vă atingeţi de ele.

And he said, “Woe to you lawyers also! For you load people with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers.

Jaj nektek, mert síremlékeket építetek a prófétáknak, pedig atyáitok ölték meg őket!

Jaj néktek! mert ti építitek a próféták sírjait; a ti atyáitok pedig megölték őket.

Woe unto you! for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.

Vai de voi! Pentru că voi zidiţi mormintele prorocilor pe care i-au ucis părinţii voştri.

Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets whom your fathers killed.

Mert bizonyságát adjátok annak, hogy helyeslitek atyáitok tetteit: azok megölték őket, ti pedig síremlékeket építetek nekik.

Tehát bizonyságot tesztek és jóvá hagyjátok atyáitok cselekedeteit; mert azok megölték őket, ti pedig építitek sírjaikat.

Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and ye build their sepulchres.

Prin aceasta mărturisiţi că încuviinţaţi faptele părinţilor voştri; căci ei au ucis pe proroci, iar voi le zidiţi mormintele.

So you are witnesses and you consent to the deeds of your fathers, for they killed them, and you build their tombs.

Ezért mondta az Isten bölcsessége is: Küldök hozzájuk prófétákat és apostolokat, és azok közül némelyeket megölnek, és némelyeket elüldöznek,

Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:

That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;

From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.

from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, it will be required of this generation.

Jaj nektek, törvénytudók, mert elvettétek a tudomány kulcsát, ti magatok nem mentetek be, és akik be akartak menni, azokat meggátoltátok!

Jaj néktek törvénytudók! mert elvettétek a tudománynak kulcsát: ti magatok nem mentetek be, és a kik be akartak menni, azokat meggátoltátok.

Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.

Vai de voi, învăţători ai Legii! Pentru că voi aţi pus mâna pe cheia cunoştinţei: nici voi n-aţi intrat, iar pe cei ce voiau să intre i-aţi împiedicat să intre.”

Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering.”

Amikor kiment onnan, az írástudók és farizeusok felháborodottan támadni kezdték, és több dolog felől faggatták,

Mikor pedig ezeket mondá nékik, az írástudók és farizeusok kezdének felette igen ellene állani és őt sok dolog felől kikérdezgetni,

And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things:
