Aztán felkerekedett az egész sokaság, és elvitték őt Pilátushoz.

És fölkelvén az ő egész sokaságuk, vivék őt Pilátushoz.

And the whole multitude of them arose, and led him unto Pilate.

S-au sculat toţi şi au dus pe Isus înaintea lui Pilat.

Then the whole company of them arose and brought him before Pilate.

Így kezdték vádolni: Úgy találtuk, hogy félrevezeti népünket, ellenzi, hogy a császárnak adót fizessünk, és azt állítja magáról, hogy ő Krisztus, a király.

És kezdék őt vádolni, mondván: Úgy találtuk, hogy ez a népet félrevezeti, és tiltja a császár adójának fizetését, mivelhogy ő magát ama király Krisztusnak mondja.

And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.

Şi au început să-L pârască şi să zică: „Pe Omul acesta L-am găsit aţâţând neamul nostru la răscoală, oprind a plăti bir cezarului şi zicând că El este Hristosul, Împăratul.”

And they began to accuse him, saying, “We found this man misleading our nation and forbidding us to give tribute to Caesar, and saying that he himself is Christ, a king.”

Pilátus megkérdezte tőle: Te vagy a zsidók királya? Ő pedig így válaszolt: Te mondod!

Pilátus pedig megkérdé őt, mondván: Te vagy-é a zsidók királya? És ő felelvén néki, monda: Te mondod!

And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest it.

Pilat L-a întrebat: „Eşti Tu Împăratul iudeilor?” „Da”, i-a răspuns Isus, „sunt.”

And Pilate asked him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” And he answered him, “You have said so.”

Pilátus azért azt mondta a főpapoknak és a sokaságnak: Semmi bűnt nem találok ebben az emberben.

Monda pedig Pilátus a főpapoknak és a sokaságnak: Semmi bűnt nem találok ez emberben.

Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.

Pilat a zis preoţilor celor mai de seamă şi noroadelor: „Eu nu găsesc nicio vină în Omul acesta.”

Then Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds, “I find no guilt in this man.”

De azok erősködtek, és azt mondták, hogy tanításával fellázítja a népet egész Júdeában, Galileától kezdve egészen idáig.

De azok erősködének, mondván: A népet felzendíti, tanítván az egész Júdeában, elkezdve Galileától mind idáig.

And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.

Dar ei stăruiau şi mai mult şi ziceau: „Întărâtă norodul şi învaţă pe oameni prin toată Iudeea, din Galileea, unde a început, până aici.”

But they were urgent, saying, “He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, from Galilee even to this place.”

Ennek hallatára Pilátus megkérdezte, hogy Galileából való-e.

Pilátus pedig Galileát hallván, megkérdé, vajjon galileai ember-é ő?

When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilaean.

Când a auzit Pilat de Galileea, a întrebat dacă Omul acesta este galileean.

When Pilate heard this, he asked whether the man was a Galilean.

Amikor megtudta, hogy Heródes fennhatósága alá tartozik, átküldte Heródeshez, mivel azokban a napokban ő is Jeruzsálemben tartózkodott.

És mikor megtudta, hogy ő a Héródes hatósága alá tartozik, Héródeshez küldé őt, mivelhogy az is Jeruzsálemben vala azokban a napokban.

And as soon as he knew that he belonged unto Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time.

And when he learned that he belonged to Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him over to Herod, who was himself in Jerusalem at that time.

Heródes pedig nagyon megörült Jézusnak, mert már régóta szerette volna őt látni, mivel sokat hallott felőle, és remélte, hogy majd valami csodát tesz a szeme láttára.

Héródes pedig Jézust látván igen megörüle: mert sok időtől fogva kívánta őt látni, mivelhogy sokat hallott ő felőle, és reménylé, hogy majd valami csodát lát, melyet ő tesz.

And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.

Irod, când a văzut pe Isus, s-a bucurat foarte mult; căci de mult dorea să-L vadă, din pricina celor auzite despre El; şi nădăjduia să-L vadă făcând vreo minune.

When Herod saw Jesus, he was very glad, for he had long desired to see him, because he had heard about him, and he was hoping to see some sign done by him.

Hosszasan faggatta, de ő semmit sem válaszolt neki.

Kérdezé pedig őt sok beszéddel; de ő semmit nem felele néki.

Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing.

I-a pus multe întrebări; dar Isus nu i-a răspuns nimic.

So he questioned him at some length, but he made no answer.

A főpapok és az írástudók is ott álltak, és nagy igyekezettel vádolták őt.

[Ott] állanak vala pedig a főpapok és az írástudók, teljes igyekezettel vádolván őt.

And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him.

Preoţii cei mai de seamă şi cărturarii stăteau acolo şi-L pârau cu înfierbântare.

The chief priests and the scribes stood by, vehemently accusing him.

Heródes katonáival együtt megvetően bánt vele, és kigúnyolta, majd fényes ruhába öltöztetve visszaküldte Pilátushoz.

Héródes pedig az ő katonáival egybe semminek állítván és kicsúfolván őt, minekutána felöltöztette fényes ruhába, visszaküldé Pilátushoz.

And Herod with his men of war set him at nought, and mocked him, and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, and sent him again to Pilate.

Irod, cu ostaşii lui de pază, se purtau cu El cu dispreţ; şi, după ce şi-a bătut joc de El şi L-a îmbrăcat cu o haină strălucitoare, L-a trimis înapoi la Pilat.

And Herod with his soldiers treated him with contempt and mocked him. Then, arraying him in splendid clothing, he sent him back to Pilate.

Heródes és Pilátus ezen a napon lettek barátok, mert korábban ellenséges viszonyban voltak egymással.

És az napon lőnek barátok egymással Pilátus és Héródes; mert az előtt ellenségeskedésben valának egymással.

And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves.

În ziua aceea, Irod şi Pilat s-au împrietenit unul cu altul, căci erau învrăjbiţi între ei mai înainte.

And Herod and Pilate became friends with each other that very day, for before this they had been at enmity with each other.

Pilátus pedig összehívta a főpapokat, a vezetőket és a népet,

Pilátus pedig a főpapokat, főembereket és a népet egybegyűjtvén,

And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,

Pilat a strâns pe preoţii cei mai de seamă, pe fruntaşi şi pe norod

Pilate then called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,

és azt mondta nekik: Elém hoztátok ezt az embert, mint a nép lázítóját, és íme, én előttetek kihallgattam, és semmi olyan bűnt nem találtam benne, amellyel vádoljátok.

Monda nékik: Ide hoztátok nékem ez embert, mint a ki a népet félrevezeti: és ímé én ti előttetek kivallatván, semmi olyan bűnt nem találtam ez emberben, a mivel őt vádoljátok:

Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:

şi le-a zis: „Mi-aţi adus înainte pe Omul acesta ca pe unul care aţâţă norodul la răscoală. Şi iată că, după ce L-am cercetat cu de-amănuntul înaintea voastră, nu L-am găsit vinovat de niciunul din lucrurile de care-L pârâţi.

and said to them, “You brought me this man as one who was misleading the people. And after examining him before you, behold, I did not find this man guilty of any of your charges against him.

De még Heródes sem, mert visszaküldte hozzánk. Láthatjátok, hogy semmi olyat nem követett el, amiért halált érdemelne.

De még Héródes sem; mert titeket ő hozzá igazítálak; és ímé semmi halálra való dolgot nem cselekedett ő.

No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him.

Nici Irod nu I-a găsit nicio vină, căci ni L-a trimis înapoi; şi iată că Omul acesta n-a făcut nimic vrednic de moarte.

Neither did Herod, for he sent him back to us. Look, nothing deserving death has been done by him.

Megfenyítem tehát, és elbocsátom.

Megfenyítvén azért őt, elbocsátom.

I will therefore chastise him, and release him.

Eu deci, după ce voi pune să-L bată, Îi voi da drumul.”

I will therefore punish and release him.”

Az ünnep miatt ugyanis szabadon kellett engednie egy foglyot.

Kell vala pedig elbocsátania nékik ünnepenként egy [foglyot.]

(For of necessity he must release one unto them at the feast.)

La fiecare praznic al Paştilor, Pilat trebuia să le sloboadă un întemniţat.

But they all cried out together, “Away with this man, and release to us Barabbas”—

De az egész sokaság felkiáltott: Végezz vele, és bocsásd el Barabbást!

De felkiálta az egész sokaság, mondván: Vidd el ezt, és bocsásd el nékünk Barabbást!

And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas:

Ei au strigat cu toţii într-un glas: „La moarte cu Omul acesta şi sloboade-ne pe Baraba!”

a man who had been thrown into prison for an insurrection started in the city and for murder.

Ez utóbbit a városban kitört valamilyen lázadásért és gyilkosságért vetették börtönbe.

Ki a városban lett valami lázadásért és gyilkosságért vettetett a tömlöczbe.

(Who for a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.)

Baraba fusese aruncat în temniţă pentru o răscoală care avusese loc în cetate şi pentru un omor.

Pilate addressed them once more, desiring to release Jesus,

Pilátus ekkor ismét hozzájuk fordult, mert szerette volna szabadon engedni Jézust.

Pilátus azért ismét felszólala, el akarván bocsátani Jézust;

Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them.

Pilat le-a vorbit din nou, cu gând să dea drumul lui Isus.

but they kept shouting, “Crucify, crucify him!”

De azok egyre csak kiáltoztak: Feszítsd meg! Feszítsd meg őt!

De azok ellene kiáltának, mondván: Feszítsd meg! Feszítsd meg őt!

But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him.

Dar ei au strigat: „Răstigneşte-L, răstigneşte-L!”

A third time he said to them, “Why? What evil has he done? I have found in him no guilt deserving death. I will therefore punish and release him.”

Ő pedig harmadszor is azt mondta nekik: De hát mi rosszat tett ez az ember? Semmi halálra való bűnt nem találtam benne, megfenyítem azért, és elbocsátom.

Ő pedig harmadszor [is] monda nékik: Mert mi gonoszt tett ez? Semmi halálra való bűnt nem találtam ő benne; megfenyítvén azért őt, elbocsátom!

And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go.

Pilat le-a zis pentru a treia oară: „Dar ce rău a făcut? Eu n-am găsit nicio vină de moarte în El. Aşa că, după ce voi pune să-L bată, Îi voi da drumul.”

But they were urgent, demanding with loud cries that he should be crucified. And their voices prevailed.

Azok pedig hangos kiáltozással ostromolták, és követelték, hogy feszítsék meg, és győzött a kiáltozásuk.

Azok pedig nagy fenszóval sürgeték, kérvén, hogy megfeszíttessék; és az ő szavok és a főpapoké erőt vesz vala.

And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.

Dar ei strigau în gura mare şi cereau de zor să fie răstignit. Şi strigătele lor şi ale preoţilor celor mai de seamă au biruit.

So Pilate decided that their demand should be granted.

Pilátus úgy döntött, hogy enged követelésüknek,

És Pilátus megítélé, hogy meglegyen, a mit kérnek vala.

And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.

Pilat a hotărât să li se împlinească cererea.

He released the man who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, for whom they asked, but he delivered Jesus over to their will.

és elbocsátotta nekik azt, akit lázadásért és gyilkosságért vetettek börtönbe, Jézust pedig kiszolgáltatta akaratuknak.

És elbocsátá nékik azt, a ki lázadásért és gyilkosságért vettetett a tömlöczbe, a kit kértek vala; Jézust pedig kiszolgáltatá az ő akaratuknak.

And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will.

Le-a slobozit pe cel ce fusese aruncat în temniţă pentru răscoală şi omor şi pe care-l cereau ei; iar pe Isus L-a dat în mâinile lor, ca să-şi facă voia cu El.

And as they led him away, they seized one Simon of Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, and laid on him the cross, to carry it behind Jesus.

Amikor elvezették őt, megragadtak egy bizonyos cirénei Simont, aki éppen a mezőről jött, és arra tették a keresztfát, hogy vigye Jézus után.

And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.

Pe când Îl duceau să-L răstignească, au pus mâna pe un anume Simon din Cirena, care se întorcea de la câmp; şi i-au pus crucea în spinare, ca s-o ducă după Isus.

And there followed him a great multitude of the people and of women who were mourning and lamenting for him.

A népnek és asszonyoknak nagy sokasága követte őt, akik gyászolták és siratták.

Követé pedig őt a népnek és az asszonyoknak nagy sokasága, a kik gyászolák és siraták őt.

And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him.

În urma lui Isus mergea o mare mulţime de norod şi femei care se boceau, îşi băteau pieptul şi se tânguiau după El.

But turning to them Jesus said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.

Jézus pedig feléjük fordulva azt mondta: Jeruzsálem leányai, ne engem sirassatok, hanem magatokat és gyermekeiteket,

Jézus pedig hozzájok fordulván, monda: Jeruzsálem leányai, ne sírjatok én rajtam, hanem ti magatokon sírjatok, és a ti magzataitokon.

But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.

Isus S-a întors spre ele şi a zis: „Fiice ale Ierusalimului, nu Mă plângeţi pe Mine; ci plângeţi-vă pe voi însevă şi pe copiii voştri.

For behold, the days are coming when they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren and the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!’

mert jönnek majd napok, amelyeken azt mondják: Boldogok a meddők, és a méhek, amelyek nem szültek, és az emlők, amelyek nem szoptattak!

Mert ímé jőnek napok, melyeken ezt mondják: Boldogok a meddők, és a mely méhek nem szültek, és az emlők, melyek nem szoptattak!

For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.

Căci iată vor veni zile, când se va zice: „Ferice de cele sterpe, ferice de pântecele care n-au născut şi de ţâţele care n-au alăptat!”

Then they will begin to say to the mountains, ‘Fall on us,’ and to the hills, ‘Cover us.’

Akkor azt kiáltják a hegyeknek: Essetek ránk! És a halmoknak: Borítsatok el minket!

Akkor kezdik mondani a hegyeknek: Essetek mi reánk; és a halmoknak: Borítsatok el minket!

Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.

Atunci vor începe să zică munţilor: „Cădeţi peste noi!”, şi dealurilor: „Acoperiţi-ne!”

For if they do these things when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?”

Mert ha a zöldellő fával ezt teszik, mi történik a szárazzal?

Mert ha a zöldelő fán ezt mívelik, mi esik a száraz [fán?]

For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?

Căci dacă se fac aceste lucruri copacului verde, ce se va face celui uscat?”

Two others, who were criminals, were led away to be put to death with him.

Vele együtt két gonosztevőt is vittek kivégzésre.

Vivének pedig két másikat is, [két ]gonosztevőt ő vele, hogy megölessenek.

And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.

Împreună cu El duceau şi pe doi făcători de rele care trebuiau omorâţi împreună cu Isus.

And when they came to the place that is called The Skull, there they crucified him, and the criminals, one on his right and one on his left.

Amikor megérkeztek arra a helyre, amelyet Koponya-helynek hívnak, megfeszítették őt és a gonosztevőket, egyiket a jobb, a másikat a bal keze felől.

Mikor pedig elmenének a helyre, mely Koponya [helyének] mondatik, ott megfeszíték őt és a gonosztevőket, egyiket jobbkéz felől, a másikat balkéz felől.

And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

Când au ajuns la locul numit „Căpăţâna”, L-au răstignit acolo, pe El şi pe făcătorii de rele: unul la dreapta, şi altul la stânga.

And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And they cast lots to divide his garments.

Jézus pedig azt mondta: Atyám, bocsásd meg nekik, mert nem tudják, mit cselekszenek! Azután sorsvetéssel megosztoztak ruháin.

Jézus pedig monda: Atyám! bocsásd meg nékik; mert nem tudják mit cselekesznek. Elosztván pedig az ő ruháit, vetének reájok sorsot.

Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Isus zicea: „Tată, iartă-i, căci nu ştiu ce fac!” Ei şi-au împărţit hainele Lui între ei, trăgând la sorţi.

And the people stood by, watching, but the rulers scoffed at him, saying, “He saved others; let him save himself, if he is the Christ of God, his Chosen One!”

A nép ott állt és nézte, a főemberek pedig gúnyosan megjegyezték: Másokat megmentett, mentse meg magát, ha ő a Krisztus, az Isten választottja!

És a nép megálla nézni. Csúfolák pedig őt a főemberek is azokkal egybe, mondván: Egyebeket megtartott, tartsa meg magát, ha ő a Krisztus, az Istennek ama választottja.

And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.

Norodul stătea acolo şi privea. Fruntaşii îşi băteau joc de Isus şi ziceau: „Pe alţii i-a mântuit; să Se mântuiască pe Sine însuşi, dacă este El Hristosul, Alesul lui Dumnezeu.”

The soldiers also mocked him, coming up and offering him sour wine

A katonák is odamentek, csúfolták, ecettel kínálták,

Csúfolák pedig őt a vitézek is, odajárulván és eczettel kínálván őt.

And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,

Ostaşii, de asemenea, îşi băteau joc de El; se apropiau, Îi dădeau oţet

and saying, “If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!”

és azt mondták neki: Ha te vagy a zsidók királya, szabadítsd meg magadat!

És ezt mondván néki: Ha te vagy a zsidóknak ama Királya, szabadítsd meg magadat!

And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.

şi-I ziceau: „Dacă eşti Tu Împăratul iudeilor, mântuieşte-Te pe Tine însuţi!”

There was also an inscription over him, “This is the King of the Jews.”

Felirat is volt felette, görög, latin és héber betűkkel: EZ A ZSIDÓK KIRÁLYA.

Vala pedig egy felirat is fölébe írva görög, római és zsidó betűkkel: Ez a zsidóknak ama Királya.

And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

Deasupra Lui era scris cu slove greceşti, latineşti şi evreieşti: „Acesta este Împăratul iudeilor.”

One of the criminals who were hanged railed at him, saying, “Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us!”

A megfeszített gonosztevők közül az egyik így szidalmazta: Nemde te vagy a Krisztus? Mentsd meg magadat és minket is!

A felfüggesztett gonosztevők közül pedig az egyik szidalmazá őt, mondván: Ha te vagy a Krisztus, szabadítsd meg magadat, minket is!

And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

Unul din tâlharii răstigniţi Îl batjocorea şi zicea: „Nu eşti Tu Hristosul? Mântuieşte-Te pe Tine însuţi şi mântuieşte-ne şi pe noi!”

But the other rebuked him, saying, “Do you not fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation?

De a másik megdorgálta ezt mondva: Te nem féled az Istent? Hiszen te ugyanazon ítélet alatt vagy!

Felelvén pedig a másik, megdorgálá őt, mondván: Az Istent sem féled-e te? Hiszen te ugyanazon ítélet alatt vagy!

But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

Dar celălalt l-a înfruntat şi i-a zis: „Nu te temi tu de Dumnezeu, tu, care eşti sub aceeaşi osândă?

And we indeed justly, for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.”

41

Mi ugyan jogosan, mert cselekedeteink méltó büntetését vesszük, de ő semmi rosszat nem cselekedett.

És mi ugyan méltán; mert a mi cselekedetünknek méltó büntetését vesszük: ez pedig semmi méltatlan dolgot nem cselekedett.

And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

Pentru noi este drept, căci primim răsplata cuvenită pentru fărădelegile noastre; dar Omul acesta n-a făcut niciun rău.”

And he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”

És azt mondta: Jézus, emlékezz meg rólam, amikor eljössz a te országodba!

És monda Jézusnak: Uram, emlékezzél meg én rólam, mikor eljősz a te országodban!

And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

Şi a zis lui Isus: „Doamne, adu-Ţi aminte de mine, când vei veni în Împărăţia Ta!”

And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

43

Ő így felelt: Bizony mondom neked, ma velem leszel a paradicsomban.

És monda néki Jézus: Bizony mondom néked: Ma velem leszel a paradicsomban.

And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Isus a răspuns: „Adevărat îţi spun că astăzi vei fi cu Mine în rai.”

It was now about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour,

Már körülbelül hat óra volt, és sötétség lett az egész földön mintegy kilenc óráig.

Vala pedig mintegy hat óra, és sötétség lőn az egész tartományban mind kilencz órakorig.

And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.

Era cam pe la ceasul al şaselea. Şi s-a făcut întuneric peste toată ţara, până la ceasul al nouălea.

while the sun’s light failed. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two.

A nap elsötétült, és a templom kárpitja középen kettéhasadt.

És meghomályosodék a nap, és a templom kárpitja középen ketté hasada.

And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.

Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” And having said this he breathed his last.

Jézus pedig hangosan felkiáltott: Atyám, a te kezedbe teszem le a lelkemet! – és ezt mondva meghalt.

És kiáltván Jézus nagy szóval, monda: Atyám, a te kezeidbe [teszem le] az én lelkemet. És ezeket mondván, meghala.

And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

Isus a strigat cu glas tare: „Tată, în mâinile Tale Îmi încredinţez duhul!” Şi, când a zis aceste vorbe, Şi-a dat duhul.

Now when the centurion saw what had taken place, he praised God, saying, “Certainly this man was innocent!”

Amikor a százados látta, ami történt, így dicsőítette Istent: Bizony, ez az ember igaz volt.

Látván pedig a százados, a mi történt, dicsőíté az Istent, mondván: Bizony ez ember igaz vala.

Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.

Sutaşul, când a văzut ce se întâmplase, a slăvit pe Dumnezeu şi a zis: „Cu adevărat, Omul acesta era neprihănit!”

And all the crowds that had assembled for this spectacle, when they saw what had taken place, returned home beating their breasts.

És az egész sokaság, amely bámészkodni ment oda, amikor látta a történteket, mellét verve tért haza.

És az egész sokaság, mely e dolognak látására ment oda, látván azokat, a mik történtek, mellét verve megtére.

And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and returned.

Şi tot norodul care venise la priveliştea aceea, când a văzut cele întâmplate, s-a întors bătându-se în piept.

And all his acquaintances and the women who had followed him from Galilee stood at a distance watching these things.

Mindazok, akik ismerték, és az asszonyok, akik Galileából követték, távolabb állva szemlélték ezeket.

Az ő ismerősei pedig mind, és az asszonyok, a kik Galileából követék őt, távol állának, nézvén ezeket.

And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood afar off, beholding these things.

Toţi cunoscuţii lui Isus şi femeile care-L însoţiseră din Galileea stăteau departe şi se uitau la cele ce se petreceau.

Now there was a man named Joseph, from the Jewish town of Arimathea. He was a member of the council, a good and righteous man,

Volt egy József nevű ember, a nagytanács tagja, jó és igaz férfiú, a júdeai Arimátia városából,

És ímé egy ember, kinek József vala neve, tanácsbeli, jó és igaz férfiú,

And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counseller; and he was a good man, and a just:

Era un sfetnic al soborului, numit Iosif, om bun şi evlavios,

who had not consented to their decision and action; and he was looking for the kingdom of God.

aki nem értett egyet a többiek tanácsával és eljárásával, és maga is várta az Isten országát.

Ki nem vala részes azoknak tanácsában és cselekedetében, Arimathiából, a zsidók városából való, ki maga is várja vala az Istennek országát;

(The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them;) he was of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God.

care nu luase parte la sfatul şi hotărârea celorlalţi. El era din Arimateea, o cetate a iudeilor, şi aştepta şi el Împărăţia lui Dumnezeu.

This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.

Ez odament Pilátushoz, és elkérte Jézus testét.

This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.

Omul acesta s-a dus la Pilat şi a cerut trupul lui Isus.

Then he took it down and wrapped it in a linen shroud and laid him in a tomb cut in stone, where no one had ever yet been laid.

Majd levette a keresztről, gyolcsba göngyölte, és egy sziklába vágott sírboltba helyezte, amelyben még senki sem feküdt.

És levévén azt, begöngyölé azt gyolcsba, és helyhezteté azt egy sziklába vágott sírboltba, melyben még senki sem feküdt.

And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid.

It was the day of Preparation, and the Sabbath was beginning.

Az előkészület napja volt, szombatra virradóan.

És az a nap péntek vala, és szombat virrada rá.

And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on.

Era ziua Pregătirii şi începea ziua Sabatului.

The women who had come with him from Galilee followed and saw the tomb and how his body was laid.

Az őt követő asszonyok is, akik Galileából jöttek vele, elkísérték, és megnézték a sírt és azt is, ahogyan elhelyezték a testét benne.

Az [őt] követő asszonyok is pedig, kik vele Galileából jöttek, megnézék a sírt, és hogy miképen helyeztetett el az ő teste.

And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid.

Femeile care veniseră cu Isus din Galileea au însoţit pe Iosif; au văzut mormântul şi felul cum a fost pus trupul lui Isus în el,

Then they returned and prepared spices and ointments. On the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment.

And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.
