- And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.

- And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.

- Amikor Jézus arra a helyre jutott, feltekintett, észrevette, és azt mondta neki: Zákeus, hamar szállj le, mert ma nekem a te házadnál kell megszállnom.

- And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.

- And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for I must stay at your house today.”

- And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.

- Zákeus pedig előállt, és azt mondta az Úrnak: Uram, íme, vagyonom felét a szegényeknek adom, és ha valakit valamivel megcsaltam, annak négyszer annyit adok helyette.
- Zákeus pedig előállván, monda az Úrnak: Uram, ímé minden vagyonomnak felét a szegényeknek adom, és ha valakitől valamit patvarkodással elvettem, négy annyit adok helyébe.
- And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.

- For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

- And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.

- As they heard these things, he proceeded to tell a parable, because he was near to Jerusalem, and because they supposed that the kingdom of God was to appear immediately.

- And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

- But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.

- And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.

- When he returned, having received the kingdom, he ordered these servants to whom he had given the money to be called to him, that he might know what they had gained by doing business.

- Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.

- The first came before him, saying, ‘Lord, your mina has made ten minas more.’

- Ő pedig azt mondta neki: Jól van, jó szolgám, mivelhogy hű voltál a kevésen, legyen hatalmad tíz városon.

- And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.
- El i-a zis: „Bine, rob bun; fiindcă ai fost credincios în puţine lucruri, primeşte cârmuirea a zece cetăţi.”
- And he said to him, ‘Well done, good servant! Because you have been faithful in a very little, you shall have authority over ten cities.’

- És jött a második, és azt mondta: Uram, a te minád öt minát nyert.

- And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.
- A venit al doilea şi i-a zis: „Doamne, polul tău a mai adus cinci poli.”
- And the second came, saying, ‘Lord, your mina has made five minas.’

- Ehhez is így szólt: Neked is legyen hatalmad öt városon.
- Monda pedig ennek is: Néked is legyen birodalmad öt városon.
- And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.

- And he said to him, ‘And you are to be over five cities.’

- És jött egy másik, aki így szólt: Uram, itt van a minád, amelyet egy kendőbe rejtve őriztem,
- És jöve egy másik, mondván: Uram, imhol a te gírád, melyet egy keszkenőben eltéve tartottam;
- And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:
- A venit un altul şi i-a zis: „Doamne, iată-ţi polul pe care l-am păstrat învelit într-un ştergar;
- Then another came, saying, ‘Lord, here is your mina, which I kept laid away in a handkerchief;

- mert féltem tőled, mivelhogy kemény ember vagy, és elveszed, amit nem te tettél el, és learatod, amit nem te vetettél.

- For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow.

- for I was afraid of you, because you are a severe man. You take what you did not deposit, and reap what you did not sow.’

- Erre azt mondta neki: Saját szavaid alapján ítéllek meg téged, gonosz szolga. Tudtad, hogy kemény ember vagyok, aki elveszem, amit nem én tettem el, és learatom, amit nem én vetettem.

- And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:

- He said to him, ‘I will condemn you with your own words, you wicked servant! You knew that I was a severe man, taking what I did not deposit and reaping what I did not sow?

- Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?

- Why then did you not put my money in the bank, and at my coming I might have collected it with interest?’

- És azt mondta az ott állóknak: Vegyétek el tőle a minát, és adjátok annak, akinek tíz minája van.

- And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.

- And he said to those who stood by, ‘Take the mina from him, and give it to the one who has the ten minas.’

- És azt mondták neki: Uram, annak tíz minája van!

- (And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.)

- And they said to him, ‘Lord, he has ten minas!’

- Ő pedig így válaszolt: Mondom nektek, hogy akinek van, annak adatik, akinek pedig nincs, még amije van, az is elvétetik tőle.

- For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.

- ‘I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.

- Ezenfelül pedig azokat az ellenségeimet, akik nem akarták, hogy rajtuk uralkodjam, hozzátok ide, és öljétek meg előttem!
- Sőt ennek felette amaz én ellenségeimet is, kik nem akarták, hogy én ő rajtok uralkodjam, hozzátok ide, és öljétek meg előttem!
- But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
- Cât despre vrăjmaşii mei, care n-au vrut să împărăţesc eu peste ei, aduceţi-i încoace şi tăiaţi-i înaintea mea.”
- But as for these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slaughter them before me.’”

- Miután ezeket elmondta, továbbment Jeruzsálem felé.
- És ezeket mondván, megy vala elől, felmenvén Jeruzsálembe.
- And when he had thus spoken, he went before, ascending up to Jerusalem.
- După ce a vorbit astfel, Isus a pornit în frunte şi Se suia spre Ierusalim.
- And when he had said these things, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem.

- And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,

- When he drew near to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount that is called Olivet, he sent two of the disciples,

- Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither.
- şi le-a zis: „Duceţi-vă în satul dinaintea voastră. Când veţi intra în el, veţi găsi un măgăruş legat, pe care n-a încălecat nimeni niciodată: dezlegaţi-l şi aduceţi-Mi-l.
- saying, “Go into the village in front of you, where on entering you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever yet sat. Untie it and bring it here.

- És ha valaki megkérdezi tőletek, hogy miért oldjátok el, így válaszoljatok: Az Úrnak van rá szüksége.
- És ha valaki kérdez titeket: Miért oldjátok el? ezt mondjátok annak: Mert az Úrnak szüksége van reá.
- And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him.
- Dacă vă va întreba cineva: „Pentru ce-l dezlegaţi?”, să-i spuneţi aşa: „Pentru că Domnul are trebuinţă de el.”
- If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ you shall say this: ‘The Lord has need of it.’”

- A küldöttek elmentek, és mindent úgy találtak, ahogy mondta nekik.
- És elmenvén a küldöttek, úgy találák, a mint nékik mondotta.
- And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them.
- Cei ce fuseseră trimişi s-au dus şi au găsit aşa cum le spusese Isus.
- So those who were sent went away and found it just as he had told them.

- Amikor a szamárcsikót eloldották, azt kérdezték a gazdái: „Miért oldjátok el a szamárcsikót?”
- És mikor a vemhet eloldák, mondának nékik annak gazdái: Miért oldjátok el a vemhet?
- And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt?

- And as they were untying the colt, its owners said to them, “Why are you untying the colt?”

- Ők pedig azt mondták: „Az Úrnak van rá szüksége”,

- And they said, The Lord hath need of him.
- Ei au răspuns: „Domnul are trebuinţă de el.”
- And they said, “The Lord has need of it.”

- és elvezették Jézushoz, majd ruhájukat ráterítették a szamárcsikóra, és ráültették Jézust.

- And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.

- And they brought it to Jesus, and throwing their cloaks on the colt, they set Jesus on it.

- And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;
- Şi când S-a apropiat de Ierusalim, spre coborâşul Muntelui Măslinilor, toată mulţimea ucenicilor, plină de bucurie, a început să laude pe Dumnezeu cu glas tare pentru toate minunile pe care le văzuseră.
- As he was drawing near—already on the way down the Mount of Olives—the whole multitude of his disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen,

- Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.

- saying, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”

- A sokaságból néhány farizeus azt mondta neki: Mester, utasítsd rendre a tanítványaidat!

- And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.

- And some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.”

- Ő azonban így válaszolt: Mondom nektek, hogy ha ezek elhallgatnak, a kövek fognak kiáltani.
- És ő felelvén, monda nékik: Mondom néktek, hogyha ezek elhallgatnak, a kövek fognak kiáltani.
- And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
- Şi El a răspuns: „Vă spun că, dacă vor tăcea ei, pietrele vor striga.”
- He answered, “I tell you, if these were silent, the very stones would cry out.”

- Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
- şi a zis: „Dacă ai fi cunoscut şi tu, măcar în această zi, lucrurile care puteau să-ţi dea pacea! Dar acum, ele sunt ascunse de ochii tăi.
- saying, “Would that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

- Mert jönnek rád napok, amikor ellenségeid sáncot emelnek ellened, körülvesznek, mindenfelől megostromolnak

- For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,

- For the days will come upon you, when your enemies will set up a barricade around you and surround you and hem you in on every side

- És a földre tipornak téged, és a te fiaidat te benned; és nem hagynak te benned követ kövön; mivelhogy nem ismerted meg a te meglátogatásodnak idejét.
- And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
- te vor face una cu pământul, pe tine şi pe copiii tăi din mijlocul tău; şi nu vor lăsa în tine piatră pe piatră, pentru că n-ai cunoscut vremea când ai fost cercetată.”
- and tear you down to the ground, you and your children within you. And they will not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”

- Azután bement a templomba, és kezdte kiűzni az árusokat,
- És bemenvén a templomba, kezdé kiűzni azokat, a kik adnak és vesznek vala abban,
- And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;
- În urmă a intrat în Templu şi a început să scoată afară pe cei ce vindeau şi cumpărau în el.
- And he entered the temple and began to drive out those who sold,

- És mindennap tanított a templomban. A főpapok, az írástudók és a nép vezetői pedig igyekeztek őt elveszteni,
- És tanít vala minden nap a templomban. A főpapok pedig és az írástudók és a nép előkelői igyekeznek vala őt elveszteni:
- And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,
- Isus învăţa în toate zilele pe norod în Templu. Şi preoţii cei mai de seamă, cărturarii şi bătrânii norodului căutau să-L omoare;
- And he was teaching daily in the temple. The chief priests and the scribes and the principal men of the people were seeking to destroy him,

- de nem találták a módját, hogy mit tegyenek vele, mert az egész nép rajta csüngött, és őt hallgatta.
- És nem találták el, mit cselekedjenek; mert az egész nép ő rajta függ vala, [reá] hallgatván.
- And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.
- dar nu ştiau cum să facă, pentru că tot norodul Îi sorbea vorbele de pe buze.
- but they did not find anything they could do, for all the people were hanging on his words.
