And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

for forty days, being tempted by the devil. And he ate nothing during those days. And when they were ended, he was hungry.

Akkor az ördög így szólt hozzá: Ha Isten Fia vagy, mondd ennek a kőnek, hogy változzék kenyérré!

És monda néki az ördög. Ha Isten Fia vagy, mondd e kőnek, hogy változzék kenyérré.

And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

Diavolul I-a zis: „Dacă eşti Fiul lui Dumnezeu, porunceşte pietrei acesteia să se facă pâine.”

The devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.”

Jézus azt felelte neki: Meg van írva, hogy nem csak kenyérrel él az ember.

Jézus pedig felele néki, mondván: Meg van írva, hogy nemcsak kenyérrel él az ember, hanem az Istennek minden ígéjével.

And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Isus i-a răspuns: „Este scris: „Omul nu va trăi numai cu pâine, ci cu orice cuvânt care iese din gura lui Dumnezeu.”

And Jesus answered him, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone.’”

Ezután felvitte őt az ördög egy magas hegyre, és egy pillanat alatt megmutatta neki a föld minden országát.

Majd felvivén őt az ördög egy nagy magas hegyre, megmutatá néki e föld minden országait egy szempillantásban,

And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

And the devil took him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time,

Majd azt mondta neki az ördög: Neked adom mindezt a hatalmat és annak dicsőségét, mert nekem adatott, és annak adom, akinek akarom.

És monda néki az ördög: Néked adom mindezt a hatalmat és ezeknek dicsőségét; mert nékem adatott, és annak adom, a kinek akarom;

And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

şi I-a zis: „Ţie Îţi voi da toată stăpânirea şi slava acestor împărăţii; căci mie îmi este dată şi o dau oricui voiesc.

and said to him, “To you I will give all this authority and their glory, for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whom I will.

Azért ha imádsz engem, mindez a tied lesz.

Azért ha te engem imádsz, mindez a tied lesz.

If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

Dacă, dar, Te vei închina înaintea mea, toată va fi a Ta.”

If you, then, will worship me, it will all be yours.”

Jézus így válaszolt: Meg van írva: az Urat, a te Istenedet imádd, és csak neki szolgálj.

Felelvén pedig Jézus, monda néki: Távozz tőlem, Sátán; mert meg van írva: Az Urat, a te Istenedet imádd, és csak néki szolgálj.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Drept răspuns, Isus i-a zis: „Înapoia Mea, Satano! Este scris: „Să te închini Domnului Dumnezeului tău şi numai Lui să-I slujeşti.”

And Jesus answered him, “It is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.’”

Azután Jeruzsálembe vitte, a templom párkányára állította, és azt mondta neki: Ha Isten Fia vagy, vesd le magad innen,

Azután Jeruzsálembe vivé őt, és a templom ormára állítván, monda néki: Ha Isten Fia vagy, vesd alá magad innét;

And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:

And he took him to Jerusalem and set him on the pinnacle of the temple and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down from here,

For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:

for it is written, “‘He will command his angels concerning you, to guard you,’

és tenyerükön hordoznak, hogy meg ne üsd a lábadat a kőben.

És: Kezökben hordoznak téged, hogy valamikép meg ne üssed lábadat a kőbe.

And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

şi: „ei Te vor lua pe mâini, ca nu cumva să Te loveşti cu piciorul de vreo piatră.”

and “‘On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.’”

Jézus pedig azt válaszolta: Megmondatott: ne kísértsd az Urat, a te Istenedet.

Felelvén pedig Jézus, monda néki: Megmondatott: Ne kísértsd az Urat, a te Istenedet.

And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Isus i-a răspuns: „S-a spus: „Să nu ispiteşti pe Domnul Dumnezeul tău.”

And Jesus answered him, “It is said, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’”

Ezzel az ördög minden kísértését elvégezte, és egy időre eltávozott tőle.

And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

And when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from him until an opportune time.

And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

And the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written,

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

„Duhul Domnului este peste Mine, pentru că M-a uns să vestesc săracilor Evanghelia; M-a trimis să tămăduiesc pe cei cu inima zdrobită, să propovăduiesc robilor de război slobozirea, şi orbilor căpătarea vederii; să dau drumul celor apăsaţi

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed,

To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

És behajtva a könyvet átadta a szolgának, és leült. A zsinagógában minden szem rászegeződött,

And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

Atunci a început să le spună: „Astăzi s-au împlinit cuvintele acestea din Scriptură pe care le-aţi auzit.”

And he began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”

És mindenki igazat adott neki, elcsodálkozva kedves beszédén, amelyek szájából származtak, és azt mondták: Hát nem a József fia ez?

És mindnyájan bizonyságot tőnek felőle, és elálmélkodának kedves beszédein, a melyek szájából származtak, és mondának: Avagy nem a József fia-é ez?

And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son?

Şi toţi Îl vorbeau de bine, se mirau de cuvintele pline de har care ieşeau din gura Lui şi ziceau: „Oare nu este acesta feciorul lui Iosif?”

And all spoke well of him and marveled at the gracious words that were coming from his mouth. And they said, “Is not this Joseph’s son?”

Erre ő így szólt hozzájuk: Bizonyára azt a példabeszédet idézitek nekem: Orvos, gyógyítsd meg magadat! Amiket hallottunk, hogy Kapernaumban történtek, itt, a te hazádban is tedd meg!

És monda nékik: Bizonyára azt a példabeszédet mondjátok nékem: Orvos, gyógyítsd meg magadat! A miket hallottunk, hogy Kapernaumban történtek, itt a te hazádban is cselekedd meg azokat.

And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.

Isus le-a zis: „Fără îndoială, Îmi veţi spune zicala aceea: „Doctore, vindecă-te pe tine însuţi”; şi Îmi veţi zice: „Fă şi aici, în patria Ta, tot ce am auzit că ai făcut în Capernaum.”

And he said to them, “Doubtless you will quote to me this proverb, ‘“Physician, heal yourself.” What we have heard you did at Capernaum, do here in your hometown as well.’”

Majd így folytatta: Bizony mondom nektek, hogy egy próféta sem kedves a saját hazájában.

Monda pedig: Bizony mondom néktek: Egy próféta sem kedves az ő hazájában.

And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.

„Dar”, a adăugat El, „adevărat vă spun că niciun proroc nu este primit bine în patria lui.

And he said, “Truly, I say to you, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown.

But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;

But in truth, I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heavens were shut up three years and six months, and a great famine came over all the land,

mégis azok közül egyikhez sem küldetett Illés, hanem csak a Szidón vidékén levő Sarepta egy özvegyasszonyához.

But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.

and Elijah was sent to none of them but only to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow.

And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.

And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of the prophet Elisha, and none of them was cleansed, but only Naaman the Syrian.”

Ennek hallatára mindnyájan haragra gerjedtek a zsinagógában,

And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,

And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.

And they rose up and drove him out of the town and brought him to the brow of the hill on which their town was built, so that they could throw him down the cliff.

But he passing through the midst of them went his way,

Lement Kapernaumba, Galilea egyik városába, és az ott élőket tanította szombatonként.

And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.

And he went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee. And he was teaching them on the Sabbath,

Mindenkit ámulatba ejtett tanítása, mert szavának ereje volt.

És csodálkozának az ő tudományán, mert beszéde hatalmas vala.

And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.

Ei erau uimiţi de învăţătura Lui, pentru că vorbea cu putere.

and they were astonished at his teaching, for his word possessed authority.

És volt ott a zsinagógában egy tisztátalan lélektől megszállt ember, aki hangosan így kiáltott:

And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,

And in the synagogue there was a man who had the spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out with a loud voice,

Ah, mi közünk hozzád, názáreti Jézus? Azért jöttél, hogy elpusztíts minket? Ismerlek téged, ki vagy: az Isten Szentje!

Mondván: Ah, mi közünk hozzád názáreti Jézus? Jöttél, hogy elveszíts minket? Ismerlek téged ki vagy: az Istennek ama Szentje!

Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.

„Ah! Ce avem noi a face cu Tine, Isuse din Nazaret? Ai venit să ne prăpădeşti? Te ştiu cine eşti: Sfântul lui Dumnezeu.”

“Ha! What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God.”

De megdorgálta őt Jézus: Némulj meg, és menj ki ebből az emberből! És az ördög földhöz verte azt, és kiment belőle anélkül, hogy kárt tett volna benne.

És megdorgálá őt Jézus, mondván: Némulj meg és menj ki ez emberből! És az ördög azt a középre vetvén, kiméne belőle, és nem árta néki semmit.

And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.

Isus l-a certat şi i-a zis: „Taci şi ieşi afară din omul acesta!” Şi dracul, după ce l-a trântit jos, în mijlocul adunării, a ieşit afară din el, fără să-i facă vreun rău.

But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent and come out of him!” And when the demon had thrown him down in their midst, he came out of him, having done him no harm.

Döbbent csodálkozás vett erőt mindenkin, és így szóltak egymáshoz: Micsoda beszéd ez, amely olyan hatalommal és erővel parancsol a tisztátalan lelkeknek, hogy azok távozni kényszerülnek?

És támada félelem mindenekben, és egymással szólnak és beszélnek vala, mondván: Mi dolog ez, hogy nagy méltósággal és hatalommal parancsol a tisztátalan lelkeknek és kimennek?

And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

Toţi au fost cuprinşi de spaimă şi ziceau unii către alţii: „Ce înseamnă lucrul acesta? El porunceşte cu stăpânire şi cu putere duhurilor necurate, şi ele ies afară!”

And they were all amazed and said to one another, “What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”

És elterjedt a híre mindenütt a környéken.

And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about.

And reports about him went out into every place in the surrounding region.

A zsinagógából kijövet Simon házába ment. Simon anyósát magas láz gyötörte, és arra kérték, hogy segítsen rajta.

Azután a zsinagógából eltávozván, a Simon házába méne. A Simon napa pedig nagy hideglelésben feküdt, és könyörögtek neki érette.

And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.

And he arose and left the synagogue and entered Simon’s house. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was ill with a high fever, and they appealed to him on her behalf.

And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.

Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.

Now when the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to him, and he laid his hands on every one of them and healed them.

And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.

And demons also came out of many, crying, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ.

And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and stayed him, that he should not depart from them.

Când s-a crăpat de ziuă, Isus a ieşit şi S-a dus într-un loc pustiu. Noroadele au început să-L caute în toate părţile şi au ajuns până la El: voiau să-L oprească să nu plece de la ei.

And when it was day, he departed and went into a desolate place. And the people sought him and came to him, and would have kept him from leaving them,

Ő azonban azt mondta nekik: Más városoknak is hirdetnem kell az Isten országát, mert azért küldettem.

Ő pedig monda nékik: Egyéb városoknak is hirdetnem kell nékem az Istennek országát; mert azért küldettem.

And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

Dar El le-a zis: „Trebuie să vestesc Evanghelia Împărăţiei lui Dumnezeu şi în alte cetăţi; fiindcă pentru aceasta am fost trimis.”

but he said to them, “I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns as well; for I was sent for this purpose.”

És Júdea zsinagógáiban is hirdette az igét.

És prédikál vala Galilea zsinagógáiban.

And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee.

Şi propovăduia în sinagogile Galileii.

And he was preaching in the synagogues of Judea.
