Amikor a filiszteusok megütköztek Izráellel, elfutottak az izráeli férfiaik a filiszteusok elől, és elhullottak sebeik miatt a Gilbóa-hegyen.

És megütközének a Filiszteusok Izráellel, és elfutottak Izráel férfiai a Filiszteusok elől, és elhullának a seb miatt a Gilboa hegységén.

Now the Philistines fought against Israel: and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and fell down slain in mount Gilboa.

Filistenii s-au luptat cu Israel, şi bărbaţii lui Israel au luat-o la fugă dinaintea filistenilor şi au căzut ucişi pe muntele Ghilboa.

Now the Philistines were fighting against Israel, and the men of Israel fled before the Philistines and fell slain on Mount Gilboa.

A filiszteusok pedig utolérték Sault és fiait, és megölték Saul fiait, Jónátánt, Abinádábot és Malkisúát.

A Filiszteusok pedig utólérték Sault és az ő fiait, és megölték a Filiszteusok Jonathánt, Abinádábot és Málkisuát, a Saul fiait.

And the Philistines followed hard upon Saul and upon his sons; and the Philistines slew Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Melchishua, Saul's sons.

Filistenii au urmărit pe Saul şi pe fiii lui şi au ucis pe Ionatan, Abinadab şi Malchişua, fiii lui Saul.

And the Philistines overtook Saul and his sons, and the Philistines struck down Jonathan and Abinadab and Malchi-shua, the sons of Saul.

Igen heves volt a küzdelem Saul ellen, amikor rátaláltak az íjászok. Súlyosan megsebesítették az íjászok,

És a küzdelem igen heves lőn Saul ellen, mikor megtalálták őt a kézíves emberek, és igen megrettene a kézívesektől.

And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit him; and he was sore wounded of the archers.

Saul a fost prins în toiul luptei; arcaşii l-au ajuns şi l-au rănit greu.

The battle pressed hard against Saul, and the archers found him, and he was badly wounded by the archers.

ezért azt mondta Saul a fegyverhordozójának: Húzd ki a kardodat, és szúrj át vele, hogy ha rám jönnek a körülmetéletlenek, nehogy ők szúrjanak le, és gúnyt űzzenek belőlem. De fegyverhordozója nem akarta megtenni, mert nagyon félt. Akkor Saul fogta a kardot, és beledőlt.

És mondá Saul az ő fegyverhordozójának: Húzd ki kardodat, és szúrj keresztül azzal engem, hogy valami módon reám ne jőjjenek e körülmetéletlenek, és keresztülszúrjanak engemet és gúnyt űzzenek belőlem. De fegyverhordozója nem akará, mert nagyon félt. Akkor Saul vevé a kardot és belébocsátkozék.

Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.

Saul a zis atunci celui ce-i ducea armele: „Scoate-ţi sabia şi străpunge-mă, ca nu cumva aceşti netăiaţi împrejur să vină să mă străpungă şi să-şi bată joc de mine.” Cel ce-i ducea armele n-a voit, căci îi era teamă. Şi Saul şi-a luat sabia şi s-a aruncat în ea.

Then Saul said to his armor-bearer, “Draw your sword, and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and mistreat me.” But his armor-bearer would not, for he feared greatly. Therefore Saul took his own sword and fell upon it.

Amikor fegyverhordozója meglátta, hogy Saul meghalt, ő is beledőlt kardjába, és meghalt vele együtt.

És fegyverhordozója a mint meglátta, hogy Saul meghalt, ő is belébocsátkozék az ő kardjába, és vele együtt meghala.

And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise upon his sword, and died with him.

Cel ce ducea armele lui Saul, văzându-l mort, s-a aruncat şi el în sabia lui şi a murit împreună cu el.

And when his armor-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he also fell upon his sword and died with him.

Így halt meg Saul és három fia meg a fegyverhordozója, sőt összes embere azon a napon.

És meghala Saul és az ő három fia és fegyverhordozója, sőt emberei is mindnyájan egyenlőképen azon a napon.

So Saul died, and his three sons, and his armourbearer, and all his men, that same day together.

Astfel au pierit, în acelaşi timp şi în aceeaşi zi, Saul şi cei trei fii ai lui, cel ce-i purta armele şi toţi oamenii lui.

Thus Saul died, and his three sons, and his armor-bearer, and all his men, on the same day together.

Amikor meglátták az izráeli férfiak, akik a völgyön túl és a Jordánon túl laktak, hogy az izráeli férfiak megfutamodtak, és hogy Saul és fiai meghaltak, elhagyták a városokat, és elmenekültek. A filiszteusok pedig odajöttek, és letelepedtek azokban.

És mikor meglátták az Izráel férfiai, a kik a völgyön túl és a Jordánon túl [laktak] vala, hogy Izráel férfiai elfutottak, és hogy Saul és az ő fiai meghalának: elhagyták a városokat és elfutának. A Filiszteusok pedig eljövének és lakának azokban.

And when the men of Israel that were on the other side of the valley, and they that were on the other side Jordan, saw that the men of Israel fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, they forsook the cities, and fled; and the Philistines came and dwelt in them.

Cei din Israel, care erau dincolo de vale şi dincolo de Iordan, văzând că oamenii lui Israel fugeau şi că Saul şi fiii lui muriseră, şi-au părăsit cetăţile şi au luat-o şi ei la fugă. Şi filistenii au venit şi s-au aşezat în ele.

And when the men of Israel who were on the other side of the valley and those beyond the Jordan saw that the men of Israel had fled and that Saul and his sons were dead, they abandoned their cities and fled. And the Philistines came and lived in them.

Másnap pedig, amikor a filiszteusok kimentek, hogy kifosszák az elesetteket, megtalálták Sault és három fiát, akik a Gilbóa hegyén estek el.

And it came to pass on the morrow, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his three sons fallen in mount Gilboa.

The next day, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, they found Saul and his three sons fallen on Mount Gilboa.

És levágták Saul fejét, elvették a fegyverzetét és körbevitték a filiszteusok földjén, örömhírt hirdetve bálványaik templomában és a népnek.

És levágták fejét és fegyverzetét lehúzták, és elküldötték a Filiszteusok tartományába szerénszerte, hogy hírt mondanának bálványaiknak templomában és a nép között.

And they cut off his head, and stripped off his armour, and sent into the land of the Philistines round about, to publish it in the house of their idols, and among the people.

Au tăiat capul lui Saul şi i-au luat armele. Apoi au trimis să dea de veste prin toată ţara filistenilor în casele idolilor lor şi în popor.

So they cut off his head and stripped off his armor and sent messengers throughout the land of the Philistines, to carry the good news to the house of their idols and to the people.

Fegyverzetét Astárót templomában helyezték el, holttestét pedig Bétseán várfalára akasztották.

És fegyverzetét Astarot templomában helyezték el, testét pedig felfüggeszték Bethsán kerítésére.

And they put his armour in the house of Ashtaroth: and they fastened his body to the wall of Bethshan.

Au pus armele lui Saul în casa Astarteilor şi i-au atârnat trupul pe zidurile Bet-Şanului.

They put his armor in the temple of Ashtaroth, and they fastened his body to the wall of Beth-shan.

Amikor meghallották Jábés-Gileád lakói, hogy mit tettek a filiszteusok Saullal,

Mikor pedig értesültek felőle Jábes-Gileád lakói, hogy mit cselekedtek a Filiszteusok Saullal:

And when the inhabitants of Jabeshgilead heard of that which the Philistines had done to Saul;

Când au auzit locuitorii Iabesului din Galaad ce au făcut filistenii lui Saul,

But when the inhabitants of Jabesh-gilead heard what the Philistines had done to Saul,

fölkelt az összes vitéz férfi, egész éjjel meneteltek, és miután levették Saulnak és fiainak a testét Bétseán várfaláról, hazamentek Jábésba, és ott elégették azokat.

Felkelének mindnyájan a vitéz férfiak, és menének egész éjjel, és [miután] levették Saul testét és az ő fiainak testeit Bethsán kerítéséről, elmentek Jábesbe, és ott megégették őket;

All the valiant men arose, and went all night, and took the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons from the wall of Bethshan, and came to Jabesh, and burnt them there.

toţi vitejii s-au sculat; au mers toată noaptea şi au luat de pe zidurile Bet-Şanului trupul lui Saul şi trupurile fiilor lui. Apoi s-au întors la Iabes, unde le-au ars;

all the valiant men arose and went all night and took the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons from the wall of Beth-shan, and they came to Jabesh and burned them there.

And they took their bones, and buried them under a tree at Jabesh, and fasted seven days.
