Egy éve volt király Saul, és már két esztendeje uralkodott Izráel fölött,

Saul [harmincz] éves volt, mikor királylyá lett és mikor uralkodék az Izráel felett két esztendeig,

Saul reigned one year; and when he had reigned two years over Israel,

Saul era în vârstă de treizeci de ani când a ajuns împărat şi a domnit doi ani peste Israel.

Saul lived for one year and then became king, and when he had reigned for two years over Israel,

amikor kiválasztott magának Izráelből háromezer embert. Ebből kétezer Saullal volt Mikmászban és Bétel hegyvidékén, ezer pedig Jónátánnal volt Gebában, Benjámin városában. A nép többi részét pedig elbocsátotta, mindenkit a maga hajlékába.

Választa Saul magának az Izráel közül háromezer [embert,] és kétezer Saullal vala Mikmásban és Béthel hegységén, ezer pedig Jonathánnal volt Gibeában, a Benjámin [városában;] a népnek többi részét pedig elbocsátá, kit-kit a maga hajlékába.

Saul chose him three thousand men of Israel; whereof two thousand were with Saul in Michmash and in mount Bethel, and a thousand were with Jonathan in Gibeah of Benjamin: and the rest of the people he sent every man to his tent.

Saul şi-a ales trei mii de bărbaţi din Israel: două mii erau cu el la Micmaş şi pe muntele Betel, iar o mie erau cu Ionatan la Ghibeea lui Beniamin. Pe ceilalţi din popor i-a trimis pe fiecare la cortul lui.

Saul chose three thousand men of Israel. Two thousand were with Saul in Michmash and the hill country of Bethel, and a thousand were with Jonathan in Gibeah of Benjamin. The rest of the people he sent home, every man to his tent.

És Jónátán megverte a filiszteusok előőrsét, amely Gebában volt, és meghallották ezt a filiszteusok. Saul pedig megfúvatta a trombitát az egész országban, ezt mondva: Hallják meg a héberek!

És Jonathán megveré a Filiszteusoknak előőrsét, mely Gébában vala, és meghallották ezt a Filiszteusok; Saul pedig megfúvatta a trombitát az egész országban, mondván: Hallják meg a zsidók!

And Jonathan smote the garrison of the Philistines that was in Geba, and the Philistines heard of it. And Saul blew the trumpet throughout all the land, saying, Let the Hebrews hear.

Ionatan a bătut tabăra filistenilor care era la Gheba, şi filistenii au auzit lucrul acesta. Saul a pus să sune cu trâmbiţa prin toată ţara, zicând: „Să audă evreii lucrul acesta!”

Jonathan defeated the garrison of the Philistines that was at Geba, and the Philistines heard of it. And Saul blew the trumpet throughout all the land, saying, “Let the Hebrews hear.”

És meghallotta egész Izráel a hírt, hogy megverte Saul a filiszteusok előőrsét, és gyűlöletessé vált Izráel a filiszteusok előtt. A nép pedig egybegyűlt Saul mellé Gilgálba.

És meghallotta egész Izráel, [hogy] [azt] mondák: Megverte Saul a Filiszteusok előőrsét, és gyűlöletessé vált Izráel a Filiszteusok előtt. A nép pedig egybegyűle Saul mellé Gilgálba.

And all Israel heard say that Saul had smitten a garrison of the Philistines, and that Israel also was had in abomination with the Philistines. And the people were called together after Saul to Gilgal.

Tot Israelul a auzit zicându-se: „Saul a bătut tabăra filistenilor, şi Israel s-a făcut urât filistenilor.” Şi poporul a fost adunat la Saul, în Ghilgal.

And all Israel heard it said that Saul had defeated the garrison of the Philistines, and also that Israel had become a stench to the Philistines. And the people were called out to join Saul at Gilgal.

Összegyűltek a filiszteusok is, hogy Izráel ellen harcoljanak: harmincezer szekér és hatezer lovas volt együtt, a nép pedig olyan sok volt, mint a tenger partján a homok. Feljöttek, és tábort ütöttek Mikmásznál, Bét-Áventől keletre.

Összegyűlének a Filiszteusok is, hogy harczoljanak Izráel ellen; harminczezer szekér és hatezer lovas volt, a nép pedig [oly] sok volt, mint a tenger partján lévő föveny; és feljövének és tábort ütének Mikmásnál, Béth-Aventől keletre.

And the Philistines gathered themselves together to fight with Israel, thirty thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the sea shore in multitude: and they came up, and pitched in Michmash, eastward from Bethaven.

Filistenii s-au strâns să lupte cu Israel. Aveau o mie de care şi şase mii de călăreţi; şi poporul acesta era fără număr: ca nisipul de pe ţărmul mării. Au venit şi au tăbărât la Micmaş, la răsărit de Bet-Aven.

And the Philistines mustered to fight with Israel, thirty thousand chariots and six thousand horsemen and troops like the sand on the seashore in multitude. They came up and encamped in Michmash, to the east of Beth-aven.

Amikor látták Izráel férfiai, hogy bajban vannak, mert a hadinépet szorongatják, elrejtőzött a nép a barlangokba, a bokrok és a kősziklák közé, a sziklahasadékokba és a vermekbe.

When the men of Israel saw that they were in a strait, (for the people were distressed,) then the people did hide themselves in caves, and in thickets, and in rocks, and in high places, and in pits.

Bărbaţii lui Israel s-au văzut la strâmtorare, căci erau strânşi de aproape, şi s-au ascuns în peşteri, în tufişuri, în stânci, în turnuri şi în gropile pentru apă.

When the men of Israel saw that they were in trouble (for the people were hard pressed), the people hid themselves in caves and in holes and in rocks and in tombs and in cisterns,

És a héberek közül egyesek átkeltek a Jordánon Gád és Gileád földjére. Saul pedig még Gilgálban volt, és az egész vele lévő nép rettegett.

És a zsidók közül [némelyek] általmenének a Jordánon, Gád és Gileád földére. Saul pedig még Gilgálban volt, és az egész nép, mely mellette vala, rettegett.

And some of the Hebrews went over Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead. As for Saul, he was yet in Gilgal, and all the people followed him trembling.

Unii evrei au trecut Iordanul, ca să se ducă în ţara lui Gad şi Galaad. Saul era tot la Ghilgal, şi tot poporul de lângă el tremura.

and some Hebrews crossed the fords of the Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead. Saul was still at Gilgal, and all the people followed him trembling.

Azután hét napig várakoztak, a Sámuel által meghagyott ideig, de Sámuel nem jött el Gilgálba, a nép pedig elszéledt mellőle.

És várakozék hét napig, a Sámuel által meghagyott ideig, de Sámuel nem jött el Gilgálba, a nép pedig elszélede mellőle.

And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him.

A aşteptat şapte zile, după timpul hotărât de Samuel. Dar Samuel nu venea la Ghilgal, şi poporul se împrăştia de lângă Saul.

He waited seven days, the time appointed by Samuel. But Samuel did not come to Gilgal, and the people were scattering from him.

Akkor azt mondta Saul: Hozzátok ide az égőáldozatot és a hálaáldozatokat. És égőáldozatot mutatott be.

Akkor monda Saul: Hozzátok ide az égőáldozatot és a hálaáldozatokat. És égőáldozatot tőn.

And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering.

Atunci Saul a zis: „Aduceţi-mi arderea de tot şi jertfele de mulţumire.” Şi a jertfit arderea de tot.

So Saul said, “Bring the burnt offering here to me, and the peace offerings.” And he offered the burnt offering.

Amikor elvégezte az égőáldozatot, íme, megérkezett Sámuel, Saul pedig elébe ment, hogy köszöntse.

És mikor elvégezte az égőáldozatot; ímé megérkezék Sámuel, és Saul eleibe ment, hogy köszöntse őt.

And it came to pass, that as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might salute him.

Pe când sfârşea de adus arderea de tot, a venit Samuel, şi Saul i-a ieşit înainte să-i ureze de bine.

As soon as he had finished offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came. And Saul went out to meet him and greet him.

Sámuel ezt mondta: Mit tettél? Saul így felelt: Amikor láttam, hogy a nép széledezni kezd mellőlem, és te nem jöttél el a meghagyott időre, a filiszteusok pedig összegyűltek már Mikmászban,

És monda Sámuel: Mit cselekedtél?! Saul pedig felele: Mikor láttam, hogy a nép elszélede mellőlem, és te nem jöttél el a meghagyott időre, a Filiszteusok pedig összegyűlének [már] Mikmásban,

And Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that thou camest not within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash;

Samuel a zis: „Ce-ai făcut?” Saul a răspuns: „Când am văzut că poporul se împrăştie de lângă mine, că nu vii la timpul hotărât şi că filistenii sunt strânşi la Micmaş,

Samuel said, “What have you done?” And Saul said, “When I saw that the people were scattering from me, and that you did not come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines had mustered at Michmash,

azt mondtam, mindjárt reám törnek a filiszteusok Gilgálban, és én még nem imádkoztam az ÚR színe előtt. Ezért nekibátorodtam, és bemutattam az égőáldozatot.

Azt mondám: Mindjárt reám törnek a Filiszteusok Gilgálban, és én az Úrnak színe előtt még nem imádkozám; bátorságot vevék azért magamnak és megáldozám az égőáldozatot.

Therefore said I, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the LORD: I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering.

mi-am zis: „Filistenii se vor coborî împotriva mea la Ghilgal, şi eu nu m-am rugat Domnului!” Atunci am îndrăznit şi am adus arderea de tot.”

I said, ‘Now the Philistines will come down against me at Gilgal, and I have not sought the favor of the LORD.’ So I forced myself, and offered the burnt offering.”

Ekkor azt mondta Sámuel Saulnak: Esztelenül cselekedtél. Nem tartottad meg az ÚRnak, a te Istenednek parancsolatát, amelyet neked parancsolt, pedig most mindörökre megerősítette volna az ÚR a királyságodat Izráel fölött.

Akkor monda Sámuel Saulnak: Esztelenül cselekedtél; nem tartottad meg az Úrnak, a te Istenednek parancsolatját, melyet parancsolt néked, pedig most mindörökre megerősítette volna az Úr a te királyságodat Izráel felett.

And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.

Samuel a zis lui Saul: „Ai lucrat ca un nebun şi n-ai păzit porunca pe care ţi-o dăduse Domnul Dumnezeul tău. Domnul ar fi întărit pe vecie domnia ta peste Israel;

And Samuel said to Saul, “You have done foolishly. You have not kept the command of the LORD your God, with which he commanded you. For then the LORD would have established your kingdom over Israel forever.

Most azonban királyságod nem lesz állandó. Keresett az ÚR magának szíve szerint való embert, akit az ő népe fölé fejedelmül rendelt, mert te nem tartottad meg, amit az ÚR parancsolt neked.

Most azonban a te királyságod nem lesz állandó. Keresett az Úr magának szíve szerint való embert, a kit az ő népe fölé fejedelmül rendelt, mert te nem tartottad meg, a mit az Úr parancsolt néked.

But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee.

dar acum, domnia ta nu va dăinui. Domnul Şi-a ales un om după inima Lui şi Domnul l-a rânduit să fie căpetenia poporului Său, pentru că n-ai păzit ce-ţi poruncise Domnul.”

But now your kingdom shall not continue. The LORD has sought out a man after his own heart, and the LORD has commanded him to be prince over his people, because you have not kept what the LORD commanded you.”

Fölkelt ezután Sámuel, és elment Gilgálból Benjámin városába, Gibeába. És Saul megszámlálta a körülötte található népet, mintegy hatszáz embert.

Felkele ezután Sámuel, és elment Gilgálból Benjámin [városába,] Gibeába. És Saul megszámlálta a népet, mely körülötte található volt, mintegy hatszáz embert.

And Samuel arose, and gat him up from Gilgal unto Gibeah of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people that were present with him, about six hundred men.

Apoi Samuel s-a sculat şi s-a suit din Ghilgal la Ghibeea lui Beniamin. Saul a făcut numărătoarea poporului care se afla cu el: erau aproape şase sute de oameni.

And Samuel arose and went up from Gilgal. The rest of the people went up after Saul to meet the army; they went up from Gilgal to Gibeah of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people who were present with him, about six hundred men.

Saul és fia, Jónátán és a velük levő nép Benjámin városában, Gebában tartózkodott, a filiszteusok pedig Mikmásznál táboroztak.

Saul pedig és az ő fia, Jonathán és a nép, mely körülöttök található vala, Benjámin [városában], Gébában tartózkodának, és a Filiszteusok Mikmásnál táborozának.

And Saul, and Jonathan his son, and the people that were present with them, abode in Gibeah of Benjamin: but the Philistines encamped in Michmash.

Saul, fiul său Ionatan şi poporul care se afla cu ei se aşezaseră la Gheba lui Beniamin, şi filistenii tăbărau la Micmaş.

And Saul and Jonathan his son and the people who were present with them stayed in Geba of Benjamin, but the Philistines encamped in Michmash.

Akkor kivált a filiszteusok táborából három csapat. Az egyik csapat az Ofrá irányába vivő úton Súál földje felé tartott.

Akkor a Filiszteusok táborából egy dúló sereg vált ki három csapatban; az egyik csapat az Ofra felé [vivő] útra fordult Suál földének;

And the spoilers came out of the camp of the Philistines in three companies: one company turned unto the way that leadeth to Ophrah, unto the land of Shual:

Din tabăra filistenilor au ieşit trei cete ca să pustiască: una a luat drumul spre Ofra, spre ţara Şual;

And raiders came out of the camp of the Philistines in three companies. One company turned toward Ophrah, to the land of Shual;

A másik csapat a Béthórón felé vivő útra fordult. A harmadik pedig a határ felé vivő útra fordult, mely a Cebóím völgyén át a puszta felé tart.

A másik csapat a Bethoron felé [vivő] útra fordula; a harmadik csapat pedig a határ felé [vivő] útra fordult, mely a Sebóim völgyén át a pusztáig terjed.

And another company turned the way to Bethhoron: and another company turned to the way of the border that looketh to the valley of Zeboim toward the wilderness.

alta a luat drumul spre Bet-Horon; şi a treia a luat drumul spre hotarul care caută spre valea Ţeboim, înspre pustiu.

another company turned toward Beth-horon; and another company turned toward the border that looks down on the Valley of Zeboim toward the wilderness.

Kovácsot pedig egész Izráel földjén nem lehetett találni, mert a filiszteusok azt mondták: Ne csinálhassanak a héberek szablyát vagy dárdát!

És kovácsot egész Izráel földén nem lehetett találni, mert a Filiszteusok azt mondák: Ne csinálhassanak a zsidók szablyát vagy dárdát.

Now there was no smith found throughout all the land of Israel: for the Philistines said, Lest the Hebrews make them swords or spears:

În toată ţara lui Israel nu se găsea niciun fierar; căci filistenii ziseseră: „Să împiedicăm pe evrei să-şi facă săbii sau suliţe.”

Now there was no blacksmith to be found throughout all the land of Israel, for the Philistines said, “Lest the Hebrews make themselves swords or spears.”

És egész Izráelnek a filiszteusokhoz kellett mennie, hogy megélesíttessék kapájukat, ekevasukat, fejszéjüket és sarlójukat,

És egész Izráelnek a Filiszteusokhoz kellett lemenni, hogy megélesítse ki-ki a maga kapáját, szántóvasát, fejszéjét és sarlóját,

But all the Israelites went down to the Philistines, to sharpen every man his share, and his coulter, and his axe, and his mattock.

Şi fiecare om din Israel se cobora la filisteni, ca să-şi ascută fierul plugului, coasa, securea şi sapa,

But every one of the Israelites went down to the Philistines to sharpen his plowshare, his mattock, his axe, or his sickle,

ha megtompultak a kapák, az ekevasak, a háromágú villák és a fejszék, vagy ha ki kellett egyenesíteni az ösztökéjüket.

(Minthogy megtompulának a kapák, szántóvasak, a háromágú villa és a fejszék) és hogy az ösztökét kiegyenesítsék.

Yet they had a file for the mattocks, and for the coulters, and for the forks, and for the axes, and to sharpen the goads.

când se tocea sapa, coasa, furca cu trei coarne şi securea, şi ca să facă vârf ţepuşului cu care mâna boii.

and the charge was two-thirds of a shekel for the plowshares and for the mattocks, and a third of a shekel for sharpening the axes and for setting the goads.

Ezért az ütközet napján az egész népnél, amely Saullal és Jónátánnal volt, sem kard, sem dárda nem volt található, hanem csak Saulnál és fiánál, Jónátánnál.

Azért az ütközet napján az egész népnél, mely Saullal és Jonathánnal vala, sem szablya, sem dárda nem találtaték, hanem csak Saulnál és az ő fiánál Jonathánnál volt található.

So it came to pass in the day of battle, that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people that were with Saul and Jonathan: but with Saul and with Jonathan his son was there found.

Şi aşa s-a întâmplat că în ziua luptei nu era nici sabie, nici suliţă în mâinile întregului popor care era cu Saul şi Ionatan: nu avea decât Saul şi fiul său Ionatan.

So on the day of the battle there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people with Saul and Jonathan, but Saul and Jonathan his son had them.

És a filiszteusok előőrse Mikmász szorosáig nyomult előre.

És a Filiszteusok előőrse kijöve Mikmás szorosához.

And the garrison of the Philistines went out to the passage of Michmash.

O ceată de filisteni a venit şi s-a aşezat la trecătoarea Micmaşului.

And the garrison of the Philistines went out to the pass of Michmash.
