Akkor elővette Sámuel az olajos szelencét, töltött belőle Saul fejére, megcsókolta őt, és ezt mondta: Hát nem kent-e föl téged az ÚR az ő öröksége fejedelmévé?

Then Samuel took a vial of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, Is it not because the LORD hath anointed thee to be captain over his inheritance?

Then Samuel took a flask of oil and poured it on his head and kissed him and said, “Has not the LORD anointed you to be prince over his people Israel? And you shall reign over the people of the LORD and you will save them from the hand of their surrounding enemies. And this shall be the sign to you that the LORD has anointed you to be prince over his heritage.

Amikor most elmész tőlem, két emberrel fogsz találkozni Ráhel sírja mellett, Benjámin határában, Celcahnál. Ők azt mondják majd neked: Megtalálták a szamarakat, amelyeknek keresésére indultál. Apád elvetette már a szamarak gondját, miattad aggódik, és ezt mondta: Mit tegyek a fiamért?

When thou art departed from me to day, then thou shalt find two men by Rachel's sepulchre in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will say unto thee, The asses which thou wentest to seek are found: and, lo, thy father hath left the care of the asses, and sorroweth for you, saying, What shall I do for my son?

Astăzi, după ce mă vei părăsi, vei găsi doi oameni la mormântul Rahelei, în hotarul lui Beniamin, la Ţelţah. Ei îţi vor zice: „Măgăriţele pe care te-ai dus să le cauţi s-au găsit; şi iată că tatăl tău nu se mai gândeşte la măgăriţe, ci este îngrijorat de voi şi zice: „Ce să fac pentru fiul meu?”

When you depart from me today, you will meet two men by Rachel’s tomb in the territory of Benjamin at Zelzah, and they will say to you, ‘The donkeys that you went to seek are found, and now your father has ceased to care about the donkeys and is anxious about you, saying, “What shall I do about my son?”’

Amikor továbbmész onnan, a Tábór tölgyfájához érkezel, és három ember fog találkozni veled, akik Istenhez mennek föl Bételbe. Az egyik három kecskegidát visz, a másik három egész kenyeret, a harmadik egy tömlő bort.

És mikor onnan tovább mégy, és a Thábor tölgyfájához jutsz, három ember fog téged ott találni, kik Béthelbe mennek fel Istenhez; az egyik három gödölyét visz, a másik visz három egész kenyeret, és a harmadik visz egy tömlő bort.

Then shalt thou go on forward from thence, and thou shalt come to the plain of Tabor, and there shall meet thee three men going up to God to Bethel, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a bottle of wine:

De acolo vei merge mai departe şi vei ajunge la stejarul din Tabor, unde vei fi întâmpinat de trei oameni suindu-se la Dumnezeu, în Betel, şi ducând unul trei iezi, altul trei turte de pâine, iar altul un burduf cu vin.

Then you shall go on from there farther and come to the oak of Tabor. Three men going up to God at Bethel will meet you there, one carrying three young goats, another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a skin of wine.

Békességgel köszöntenek, és két kenyeret adnak neked; te pedig fogadd el azokat tőlük.

És azok békességesen köszöntenek téged, és két kenyeret adnak néked; te pedig vedd el azokat kezökből.

And they will salute thee, and give thee two loaves of bread; which thou shalt receive of their hands.

Ei te vor întreba de sănătate şi-ţi vor da două pâini, pe care le vei lua din mâna lor.

And they will greet you and give you two loaves of bread, which you shall accept from their hand.

Azután eljutsz Isten halmára, ahol a filiszteusok őrségei vannak. Mikor pedig bemész oda a városba, egy csapat prófétával fogsz találkozni, akik a hegyről jönnek le; lant, dob, fuvola és citera lesz náluk, ők maguk pedig prófétálnak.

Azután eljutsz az Isten hegyére, hol a Filiszteusok előőrsei vannak. Mikor pedig bemégy oda a városba, a próféták seregével fogsz találkozni, kik a hegyről jőnek le, előttök lant, dob, síp és hárfa lesz, és ők magok prófétálnak.

After that thou shalt come to the hill of God, where is the garrison of the Philistines: and it shall come to pass, when thou art come thither to the city, that thou shalt meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a tabret, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy:

După aceea, vei ajunge la Ghibeea Elohim, unde se află garnizoana filistenilor. Când vei intra în cetate, vei întâlni o ceată de proroci coborându-se de pe înălţimea pentru jertfă, cu lăute, timpane, fluiere şi cobze înainte, şi prorocind.

After that you shall come to Gibeath-elohim, where there is a garrison of the Philistines. And there, as soon as you come to the city, you will meet a group of prophets coming down from the high place with harp, tambourine, flute, and lyre before them, prophesying.

Akkor az ÚR lelke rád fog szállni, velük együtt fogsz prófétálni, és más emberré leszel.

Akkor az Úrnak lelke reád fog szállani, és velök együtt prófétálni fogsz, és más emberré leszesz.

And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man.

Duhul Domnului va veni peste tine, vei proroci cu ei şi vei fi prefăcut într-alt om.

Then the Spirit of the LORD will rush upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man.

Mikor pedig mindezek a jelek beteljesednek rajtad, tedd meg magadért mindazt, amire módot találsz, mert veled lesz az Isten.

Mikor pedig [mind] e jelek beteljesednek rajtad, tedd meg magadért mind azt, a mi csak kezed ügyébe esik, mert az Isten veled van.

And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for God is with thee.

Când ţi se vor împlini semnele acestea, fă ce vei găsi de făcut, căci Dumnezeu este cu tine.

Now when these signs meet you, do what your hand finds to do, for God is with you.

Most hát menj le előttem Gilgálba, és íme, én majd lemegyek hozzád, hogy égőáldozatot mutassak be, és hálaáldozatot áldozzam. Hét napig várakozzál, míg hozzád érkezem, és akkor tudtodra adom, hogy mit kell tenned.

Most azért menj le én előttem Gilgálba, és ímé én lemegyek te hozzád, hogy égőáldozatot áldozzam és hálaáldozatot hozzak. Hét napig várakozzál, míg hozzád megyek, és [akkor] tudtodra adom, hogy mit cselekedjél.

And thou shalt go down before me to Gilgal; and, behold, I will come down unto thee, to offer burnt offerings, and to sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings: seven days shalt thou tarry, till I come to thee, and shew thee what thou shalt do.

Apoi să te cobori înaintea mea la Ghilgal; şi eu mă voi coborî la tine, ca să aduc arderi de tot şi jertfe de mulţumire. Să mă aştepţi şapte zile acolo, până voi ajunge eu la tine şi-ţi voi spune ce ai să faci.”

Then go down before me to Gilgal. And behold, I am coming down to you to offer burnt offerings and to sacrifice peace offerings. Seven days you shall wait, until I come to you and show you what you shall do.”

S amint megfordult, hogy Sámueltől eltávozzék, Isten megváltoztatta a szívét; és beteljesedtek rajta mindazok a jelek azon a napon.

És lőn, a mint hátra fordult, hogy Sámueltől eltávozzék, elváltoztatá Isten az ő szívét, és azon a napon beteljesedének mind azok a jelek.

And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day.

De îndată ce Saul a întors spatele ca să se despartă de Samuel, Dumnezeu i-a dat o altă inimă, şi toate semnele acestea s-au împlinit în aceeaşi zi.

When he turned his back to leave Samuel, God gave him another heart. And all these signs came to pass that day.

Mert mikor odaértek a halomhoz, íme, próféták serege jött vele szembe, és Isten lelke reászállt, és velük együtt prófétált.

És mikor elmenének ama hegyre, ímé a prófétáknak serege vele szembe jöve, és az Istennek lelke ő reá szálla, és prófétála ő közöttök.

And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them.

Când au ajuns la Ghibeea, iată că i-a ieşit înainte o ceată de proroci. Duhul lui Dumnezeu a venit peste el şi el a prorocit în mijlocul lor.

When they came to Gibeah, behold, a group of prophets met him, and the Spirit of God rushed upon him, and he prophesied among them.

Mindazok, akik azelőtt ismerték, amikor látták, hogy íme, a prófétákkal együtt prófétál, azt mondták egymás között: Mi lelte Kís fiát? Hát Saul is a próféták között van?

És lőn, hogy mind azok, kik ismerték őt annakelőtte, mikor látták, hogy ímé a prófétákkal együtt prófétál, monda a nép egymás közt: Mi lelte Kisnek fiát? Avagy Saul is a próféták közt van?

And it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one to another, What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?

Toţi cei ce-l cunoscuseră mai înainte au văzut că prorocea împreună cu prorocii şi îşi ziceau unul altuia în popor: „Ce s-a întâmplat cu fiul lui Chis? Oare şi Saul este între proroci?”

And when all who knew him previously saw how he prophesied with the prophets, the people said to one another, “What has come over the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?”

És egyikőjük megszólalt: Vajon kicsoda a próféták atyja? Azért lett szólásmondássá: Hát már Saul is a próféták között van?

És felele egy közülök, és monda: Ugyan kicsoda az ő atyjuk? Azért lőn példabeszéddé: Avagy Saul is a próféták közt van?

And one of the same place answered and said, But who is their father? Therefore it became a proverb, Is Saul also among the prophets?

Cineva din Ghibeea a răspuns: „Şi cine este tatăl lor?” – De-acolo zicala: „Oare şi Saul este între proroci?” –

And a man of the place answered, “And who is their father?” Therefore it became a proverb, “Is Saul also among the prophets?”

És mikor befejezte a prófétálást, fölment a magaslatra.

És mikor elvégezé a prófétálást, felment a hegyre.

And when he had made an end of prophesying, he came to the high place.

Când a sfârşit de prorocit, s-a dus pe înălţime.

When he had finished prophesying, he came to the high place.

Saul nagybátyja pedig megkérdezte őt és a szolgáját: Hol jártatok? Ő azt felelte: A szamarakat kerestük, de mivel sehol sem láttuk, Sámuelhez mentünk.

Saulnak nagybátyja pedig monda néki és a szolgájának: Hol jártatok? És ő monda: A szamarakat kerestük, de mivel sehol sem láttuk, Sámuelhez menénk.

And Saul's uncle said unto him and to his servant, Whither went ye? And he said, To seek the asses: and when we saw that they were no where, we came to Samuel.

Unchiul lui Saul a zis lui Saul şi slugii lui: „Unde v-aţi dus?” Saul a răspuns: „Să căutăm măgăriţele; dar când am văzut că nu le găsim, ne-am dus la Samuel.”

Saul’s uncle said to him and to his servant, “Where did you go?” And he said, “To seek the donkeys. And when we saw they were not to be found, we went to Samuel.”

Akkor így szólt Saulhoz a nagybátyja: Ugyan, mondd el nekem, mit mondott nektek Sámuel!

Akkor monda Saulnak a nagybátyja: Ugyan mondd meg nékem, mit mondott néktek Sámuel?

And Saul's uncle said, Tell me, I pray thee, what Samuel said unto you.

Unchiul lui Saul a zis din nou: „Istoriseşte-mi, dar, ce v-a spus Samuel.”

And Saul’s uncle said, “Please tell me what Samuel said to you.”

Saul azt felelte nagybátyjának: Világosan megmondta nekünk, hogy megtalálták a szamarakat. De amit a királyságról mondott, azt nem mondta el neki.

És monda Saul a nagybátyjának: Nyilván megmondotta nékünk, hogy a szamarakat megtalálták. De a mit Sámuel a királyságról mondott, nem beszélte el néki.

And Saul said unto his uncle, He told us plainly that the asses were found. But of the matter of the kingdom, whereof Samuel spake, he told him not.

Şi Saul a răspuns unchiului său: „Ne-a spus că măgăriţele s-au găsit.” Şi nu i-a spus nimic despre împărăţia despre care vorbise Samuel.

And Saul said to his uncle, “He told us plainly that the donkeys had been found.” But about the matter of the kingdom, of which Samuel had spoken, he did not tell him anything.

Ezután Sámuel összehívta a népet az ÚRhoz Micpába.

És összehívta Sámuel a népet Mispába az Úrhoz.

And Samuel called the people together unto the LORD to Mizpeh;

Samuel a chemat poporul înaintea Domnului, la Miţpa

Now Samuel called the people together to the LORD at Mizpah.

Ezt mondta Izráel fiainak: Így szól az ÚR, Izráel Istene: Én hoztam ki Izráelt Egyiptomból, és én szabadítottalak meg benneteket az egyiptomiak kezéből és mindazoknak az országoknak a kezéből, amelyek sanyargattak titeket.

És monda Izráel fiainak: Így szól az Úr, Izráelnek Istene: Én hoztam ki Izráelt Égyiptomból, és én szabadítottalak meg titeket az égyiptombeliek kezéből és mind amaz országok kezéből, melyek sanyargatának titeket.

And said unto the children of Israel, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all kingdoms, and of them that oppressed you:

şi a zis copiilor lui Israel: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeul lui Israel: „Eu am scos din Egipt pe Israel şi v-am izbăvit din mâna egiptenilor şi din mâna tuturor împărăţiilor care vă apăsau.

And he said to the people of Israel, “Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, ‘I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and I delivered you from the hand of the Egyptians and from the hand of all the kingdoms that were oppressing you.’

Ti pedig most elvetettétek Isteneteket, aki megszabadított minden bajotokból és nyomorúságotokból, és azt mondtátok neki: Adj királyt nekünk! Most hát álljatok az ÚR színe elé törzsenként és nemzetségenként.

Ti pedig most megvetettétek a ti Isteneteket, a ki megszabadított titeket minden bajaitokból és nyomorúságaitokból; és azt mondottátok néki: Adj királyt nékünk. Most azért álljatok az Úr elé a ti nemzetségeitek és ezreitek szerint.

And ye have this day rejected your God, who himself saved you out of all your adversities and your tribulations; and ye have said unto him, Nay, but set a king over us. Now therefore present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes, and by your thousands.

Şi astăzi, voi lepădaţi pe Dumnezeul vostru, care v-a izbăvit din toate relele şi din toate suferinţele voastre, şi-I ziceţi: „Pune un împărat peste noi!” Înfăţişaţi-vă acum înaintea Domnului, după seminţiile voastre şi după miile voastre.”

But today you have rejected your God, who saves you from all your calamities and your distresses, and you have said to him, ‘Set a king over us.’ Now therefore present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes and by your thousands.”

És amikor Sámuel fölvonultatta Izráel valamennyi törzsét, a sorsvetés Benjámin törzsére esett.

És mikor előállatá Sámuel Izráelnek minden nemzetségét, kiválasztaték [sors] [által] a Benjámin nemzetsége.

And when Samuel had caused all the tribes of Israel to come near, the tribe of Benjamin was taken.

Samuel a apropiat toate seminţiile lui Israel, şi a ieşit la sorţi seminţia lui Beniamin.

Then Samuel brought all the tribes of Israel near, and the tribe of Benjamin was taken by lot.

Akkor fölvonultatta Benjámin törzsét nemzetségenként, és a sors a Matri nemzetségére esett. Majd Kís fiára, Saulra esett a sors, de amikor keresték, nem találták meg.

Akkor előállatá a Benjámin nemzetségét az ő házanépei szerint, és kiválasztaték a Mátri házanépe, [azután] kiválasztaték Saul, Kisnek fia; és keresék őt, de nem találták meg.

When he had caused the tribe of Benjamin to come near by their families, the family of Matri was taken, and Saul the son of Kish was taken: and when they sought him, he could not be found.

A apropiat seminţia lui Beniamin pe familii, şi a ieşit la sorţi familia lui Matri. Apoi a ieşit la sorţi Saul, fiul lui Chis. L-au căutat, dar nu l-au găsit.

He brought the tribe of Benjamin near by its clans, and the clan of the Matrites was taken by lot; and Saul the son of Kish was taken by lot. But when they sought him, he could not be found.

Ekkor megkérdezték ismét az URat: Vajon csakugyan eljön-e ide az az ember? És az ÚR azt felelte: Íme, ő elrejtőzött a holmik közé.

Megkérdezték azért ismét az Urat: Vajjon eljön-é ide az az ember? És az Úr monda: Ímé ő a holmik közé rejtőzék el.

Therefore they enquired of the LORD further, if the man should yet come thither. And the LORD answered, Behold he hath hid himself among the stuff.

Au întrebat din nou pe Domnul: „A venit oare omul acesta aici?” Şi Domnul a zis: „Iată că este ascuns între vase.”

So they inquired again of the LORD, “Is there a man still to come?” and the LORD said, “Behold, he has hidden himself among the baggage.”

Akkor odafutottak, és előhozták onnan. Amikor a nép közé állt, egy fejjel kimagaslott az egész nép közül.

Akkor elfutának, és előhozták őt onnan. És mikor a nép közé álla, kimagaslék az egész nép közül vállától kezdve felfelé;

And they ran and fetched him thence: and when he stood among the people, he was higher than any of the people from his shoulders and upward.

Au alergat şi l-au scos de acolo, şi el s-a înfăţişat în mijlocul poporului. Îi întrecea pe toţi în înălţime, de la umăr în sus.

Then they ran and took him from there. And when he stood among the people, he was taller than any of the people from his shoulders upward.

Sámuel azt mondta a népnek: Látjátok, kit választott az ÚR? Nincsen hozzá hasonló az egész nép között! Ekkor fölkiáltott az egész nép, és azt mondta: Éljen a király!

És Sámuel monda az egész népnek: Látjátok-é, a kit választott az Úr? hogy nincsen hozzá hasonló az egész nép között! Akkor felkiálta az egész nép, és monda: Éljen a király!

And Samuel said to all the people, See ye him whom the LORD hath chosen, that there is none like him among all the people? And all the people shouted, and said, God save the king.

Samuel a zis întregului popor: „Vedeţi pe cel pe care l-a ales Domnul? Nu este nimeni în tot poporul care să fie ca el.” Şi tot poporul a strigat: „Trăiască împăratul!”

And Samuel said to all the people, “Do you see him whom the LORD has chosen? There is none like him among all the people.” And all the people shouted, “Long live the king!”

Sámuel pedig kihirdette a nép előtt a király jogait, beírta egy könyvbe, és letette az ÚR elé. Majd elbocsátotta az egész népet, mindenkit a maga házához.

Sámuel pedig előadá a nép előtt a királyság jogát, és beírá egy könyvbe, és letevé az Úr elé. És elbocsátá Sámuel az egész népet, mindenkit a maga házához.

Then Samuel told the people the manner of the kingdom, and wrote it in a book, and laid it up before the LORD. And Samuel sent all the people away, every man to his house.

Samuel a făcut cunoscut poporului dreptul împărăţiei şi l-a scris într-o carte, pe care a pus-o înaintea Domnului. Apoi a dat drumul întregului popor, trimiţând pe fiecare acasă.

Then Samuel told the people the rights and duties of the kingship, and he wrote them in a book and laid it up before the LORD. Then Samuel sent all the people away, each one to his home.

Azután Saul is elment haza Gibeába, és vele mentek azok a vitézek, akiknek szívét Isten erre indította.

Azután Saul is elment haza Gibeába és vele ment a sokaság, a kiknek szívét Isten megindította vala.

And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of men, whose hearts God had touched.

Şi Saul s-a dus acasă în Ghibeea, însoţit de o parte din ostaşi, a căror inimă o mişcase Dumnezeu.

Saul also went to his home at Gibeah, and with him went men of valor whose hearts God had touched.

27

Néhány kaján ember azonban azt mondta: Ugyan mit segíthet ez rajtunk? És megvetették őt, és ajándékot sem vittek neki. Ő azonban úgy tett, mintha semmit sem hallott volna.

[Némely] kaján emberek azonban [azt] mondák: Mit segíthet ez rajtunk? és megvetették őt és ajándékot nem vivének néki. Ő pedig olyan volt, mintha [semmit] [sem] hallott volna.

But the children of Belial said, How shall this man save us? And they despised him, and brought no presents. But he held his peace.

S-au găsit însă şi oameni răi, care ziceau: „Ce ne poate ajuta acesta?” Şi l-au dispreţuit şi nu i-au adus niciun dar. Dar Saul s-a făcut că nu-i aude.

But some worthless fellows said, “How can this man save us?” And they despised him and brought him no present. But he held his peace.
