Ezután Dávid elment onnan, és Éngedi erődjében tartózkodott.

És Dávid elméne onnan, és Engedi erősségei közt tartózkodék.

And it came to pass, when Saul was returned from following the Philistines, that it was told him, saying, Behold, David is in the wilderness of Engedi.

Când s-a întors Saul de la urmărirea filistenilor, au venit şi i-au spus: „Iată că David este în pustiul En-Ghedi.”

When Saul returned from following the Philistines, he was told, “Behold, David is in the wilderness of Engedi.”

Amikor Saul visszatért a filiszteusok üldözéséből, megüzenték neki: Íme, Dávid Éngedi pusztájában van!

Lőn pedig, hogy a mikor visszatért Saul a Filiszteusok [üldözéséből,] megizenték néki, mondván: Ímé Dávid az Engedi pusztájában van.

Then Saul took three thousand chosen men out of all Israel, and went to seek David and his men upon the rocks of the wild goats.

Saul a luat trei mii de oameni aleşi din tot Israelul şi s-a dus să caute pe David şi pe oamenii lui până pe stâncile ţapilor sălbatici.

Then Saul took three thousand chosen men out of all Israel and went to seek David and his men in front of the Wildgoats’ Rocks.

Erre Saul maga mellé vett egész Izráelből háromezer válogatott embert, és elment, hogy megkeresse Dávidot és embereit a vadkecskék kőszikláján.

Maga mellé vőn azért Saul az egész Izráel közül háromezer válogatott embert, és elment, hogy megkeresse Dávidot és az ő embereit a vadkecskék kőszikláin.

And he came to the sheepcotes by the way, where was a cave; and Saul went in to cover his feet: and David and his men remained in the sides of the cave.

A ajuns la nişte stâne de oi, care erau lângă drum; şi acolo era o peşteră în care a intrat să doarmă. David şi oamenii lui erau în fundul peşterii.

And he came to the sheepfolds by the way, where there was a cave, and Saul went in to relieve himself. Now David and his men were sitting in the innermost parts of the cave.

Eljutott az út menti juhaklokhoz, ahol egy barlang is van. És Saul bement oda, hogy szükségét végezze, Dávid és emberei pedig a barlang rejtekében voltak.

És eljutott a juhaklokhoz, a [melyek] az útfélen [vannak], hol egy barlang volt; és beméne Saul, hogy [ott] szükségét végezze; Dávid pedig és az ő emberei a barlang rejtekeiben valának.

And the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which the LORD said unto thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand, that thou mayest do to him as it shall seem good unto thee. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul's robe privily.

Oamenii lui David i-au zis: „Iată ziua în care Domnul îţi zice: „Dau pe vrăjmaşul tău în mâinile tale; fă-i ce-ţi va plăcea.” David s-a sculat şi a tăiat încet colţul hainei lui Saul.

And the men of David said to him, “Here is the day of which the LORD said to you, ‘Behold, I will give your enemy into your hand, and you shall do to him as it shall seem good to you.’” Then David arose and stealthily cut off a corner of Saul’s robe.

Akkor azt mondták Dávidnak az emberei: Íme, ez az a nap, amelyről azt mondta neked az ÚR: Íme, kezedbe adom ellenségedet, tégy vele, amit jónak látsz. Akkor fölkelt Dávid, és lopva levágta Saul köpenyének a szárnyát.

Akkor mondák Dávidnak az ő emberei: Ímé ez az a nap, a melyről azt mondotta az Úr néked: Ímé kezedbe adom ellenségedet, hogy úgy cselekedjél vele, a mint néked tetszik. Felkele azért Dávid, és elmetszé orozva Saul ruhájának szárnyát.

And it came to pass afterward, that David's heart smote him, because he had cut off Saul's skirt.

După aceea, inima îi bătea, pentru că tăiase colţul hainei lui Saul.

And afterward David’s heart struck him, because he had cut off a corner of Saul’s robe.

Dávid szíve megesett rajta, miután levágta Saul köpenyének a szárnyát,

Lőn pedig ezután, hogy megesett a Dávid szíve rajta, hogy elmetszé Saul ruhájának szárnyát;

And he said unto his men, The LORD forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the LORD's anointed, to stretch forth mine hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the LORD.

Şi a zis oamenilor săi: „Să mă ferească Domnul să fac împotriva domnului meu, care este unsul Domnului, o aşa faptă ca să pun mâna pe el! Căci el este unsul Domnului.”

He said to his men, “The LORD forbid that I should do this thing to my lord, the LORD’s anointed, to put out my hand against him, seeing he is the LORD’s anointed.”

és azt mondta embereinek: Oltalmazzon meg engem az ÚR attól, hogy ilyen dolgot cselekedjem az én uram, az ÚR fölkentje ellen, hogy kezet emeljek rá. Mert az ÚR fölkentje ő.

És monda az ő embereinek: Oltalmazzon meg engem az Úr attól, hogy ily dolgot cselekedjem az én urammal, az Úrnak felkentjével, hogy kezemet felemeljem ellene, mert az Úrnak felkentje ő.

So David stayed his servants with these words, and suffered them not to rise against Saul. But Saul rose up out of the cave, and went on his way.

Cu aceste cuvinte, David a oprit pe oamenii săi şi i-a împiedicat să se arunce asupra lui Saul. Apoi Saul s-a sculat să iasă din peşteră şi şi-a văzut înainte de drum.

So David persuaded his men with these words and did not permit them to attack Saul. And Saul rose up and left the cave and went on his way.

Akkor Dávid kemény szavakkal megfeddte embereit, és nem engedte meg nekik, hogy Saulra támadjanak. Miután pedig Saul elindult a barlangból, és elment az úton,

És megfeddé Dávid [kemény] szókkal embereit, és nem engedte meg nékik, hogy Saul ellen támadjanak. Mikor pedig Saul felkelt a barlangból, és elment az úton:

David also arose afterward, and went out of the cave, and cried after Saul, saying, My lord the king. And when Saul looked behind him, David stooped with his face to the earth, and bowed himself.

După aceea, David s-a sculat şi a ieşit din peşteră. El a început să strige atunci după Saul: „Împărate, domnul meu!” Saul s-a uitat înapoi, şi David s-a plecat cu faţa la pământ şi s-a închinat.

Afterward David also arose and went out of the cave, and called after Saul, “My lord the king!” And when Saul looked behind him, David bowed with his face to the earth and paid homage.

Dávid is fölkelt, kiment a barlangból, és így kiáltott Saul után: Uram, király! Mikor pedig Saul hátratekintett, Dávid arccal a földig hajolt, és leborult előtte.

Dávid is felkelt ezután, és kiment a barlangból, és Saul után kiálta, mondván: Uram király! Mikor pedig Saul hátratekinte, Dávid arczczal a földre hajolt, és tisztességet tőn néki.

And David said to Saul, Wherefore hearest thou men's words, saying, Behold, David seeketh thy hurt?

David a zis lui Saul: „De ce asculţi tu de vorbele oamenilor care zic: „David îţi vrea răul”?

And David said to Saul, “Why do you listen to the words of men who say, ‘Behold, David seeks your harm’?

Akkor Dávid ezt mondta Saulnak: Miért hallgatsz az olyan emberek szavára, akik azt mondják: Íme, Dávid a vesztedre tör?

És monda Dávid Saulnak: Miért hallgatsz az olyan ember szavaira, a ki azt mondja: Ímé Dávid romlásodra tör?!

Behold, this day thine eyes have seen how that the LORD had delivered thee to day into mine hand in the cave: and some bade me kill thee: but mine eye spared thee; and I said, I will not put forth mine hand against my lord; for he is the LORD's anointed.

Vezi acum cu ochii tăi că Domnul te dăduse astăzi în mâinile mele în peşteră. Oamenii mei mă îndemnau să te omor; dar te-am cruţat şi am zis: „Nu voi pune mâna pe domnul meu, căci este unsul Domnului.”

Behold, this day your eyes have seen how the LORD gave you today into my hand in the cave. And some told me to kill you, but I spared you. I said, ‘I will not put out my hand against my lord, for he is the LORD’s anointed.’

Íme, a mai napon saját szemeddel láthattad, hogy az ÚR kezembe adott téged a barlangban. Mondták is, hogy öljelek meg, de én megszántalak, és azt mondtam: Nem emelem föl kezemet az én uram ellen, mert az ÚR fölkentje ő.

Ímé a mai napon látták a te szemeid, hogy az Úr téged kezembe adott ma a barlangban, és azt mondották, hogy öljelek meg téged, de én kedvezék néked, és azt mondám: Nem emelem fel kezemet az én uram ellen, mert az Úrnak felkentje ő.

Moreover, my father, see, yea, see the skirt of thy robe in my hand: for in that I cut off the skirt of thy robe, and killed thee not, know thou and see that there is neither evil nor transgression in mine hand, and I have not sinned against thee; yet thou huntest my soul to take it.

Uite, părintele meu, uite colţul hainei tale în mâna mea. Fiindcă ţi-am tăiat colţul hainei şi nu te-am ucis, să ştii şi să vezi că în purtarea mea nu este nici răutate, nici răzvrătire şi că n-am păcătuit împotriva ta. Totuşi tu îmi întinzi curse ca să-mi iei viaţa.

See, my father, see the corner of your robe in my hand. For by the fact that I cut off the corner of your robe and did not kill you, you may know and see that there is no wrong or treason in my hands. I have not sinned against you, though you hunt my life to take it.

Nézd csak, atyám, nézd! Igen, itt van a köpenyed szárnya a kezemben, mert amikor levágtam azt, nem öltelek meg téged! Azért értsd meg ebből, és lásd be, hogy nincs az én kezemben hamisság és semmi gonoszság. Nem vétkeztem ellened, de te mégis életem után leselkedsz, hogy elveszítsed.

Azért atyám! nézd, ugyan nézd felső ruhádnak szárnyát kezemben, mert mikor levágtam felső ruhádnak szárnyát, nem öltelek meg téged! Azért tudd meg és lássad, hogy nincsen az én kezemben hamisság és semmi gonoszság és nem vétkeztem ellened, de te mégis életem után leselkedel, hogy elveszessed azt.

The LORD judge between me and thee, and the LORD avenge me of thee: but mine hand shall not be upon thee.

Judece Domnul între mine şi tine şi Domnul să mă răzbune pe tine; dar eu nu voi pune mâna pe tine.

May the LORD judge between me and you, may the LORD avenge me against you, but my hand shall not be against you.

Az ÚR tegyen ítéletet köztem és közted, és álljon bosszút az ÚR érettem rajtad, de az én kezem nem lesz ellened!

Az Úr tegyen ítéletet közöttem és közötted, és álljon bosszút az Úr érettem rajtad, de az én kezem nem lesz ellened.

As saith the proverb of the ancients, Wickedness proceedeth from the wicked: but mine hand shall not be upon thee.

Răul de la cei răi vine, zice vechea zicală. De aceea eu nu voi pune mâna pe tine.

As the proverb of the ancients says, ‘Out of the wicked comes wickedness.’ But my hand shall not be against you.

Ahogy a régi példabeszéd mondja: a gonoszoktól gonoszság származik, de én nem emelem föl kezemet ellened.

A mint a régi példabeszéd mondja: A gonoszoktól származik a gonoszság; de az én kezem nem lesz ellened.

After whom is the king of Israel come out? after whom dost thou pursue? after a dead dog, after a flea.

Împotriva cui a pornit împăratul lui Israel? Pe cine urmăreşti tu? Un câine mort, un purice.

After whom has the king of Israel come out? After whom do you pursue? After a dead dog! After a flea!

Ki ellen vonult ki Izráel királya? Kit üldözöl? Egy holt ebet vagy egy bolhát?

Ki ellen jött ki Izráelnek királya? Kit kergetsz? Egy holt ebet, vagy egy bolhát?

The LORD therefore be judge, and judge between me and thee, and see, and plead my cause, and deliver me out of thine hand.

Domnul va judeca şi va hotărî între mine şi tine, El va vedea. El îmi va apăra pricina şi El îmi va face dreptate, izbăvindu-mă din mâna ta.”

May the LORD therefore be judge and give sentence between me and you, and see to it and plead my cause and deliver me from your hand.”

Legyen azért az ÚR ítélőbíró, és ő tegyen ítéletet köztem és közted. Tekintsen ügyemre, és perelje peremet, és szabadítson meg engem a kezedből.

Legyen azért az Úr ítélőbiró, és tegyen ítéletet közöttem és közötted, és lássa meg; ő forgassa az én ügyemet, és szabadítson meg engem kezedből.

And it came to pass, when David had made an end of speaking these words unto Saul, that Saul said, Is this thy voice, my son David? And Saul lifted up his voice, and wept.

Când a sfârşit David de spus aceste vorbe lui Saul, Saul a zis: „Glasul tău este, fiule David?” Şi Saul a ridicat glasul şi a plâns.

As soon as David had finished speaking these words to Saul, Saul said, “Is this your voice, my son David?” And Saul lifted up his voice and wept.

Amikor Dávid elmondta ezeket a szavakat Saul előtt, ő ezt mondta: A te szavad-e ez, Dávid fiam? És Saul fennhangon sírni kezdett.

És lőn, hogy a mikor elmondotta Dávid e szókat Saul előtt, monda Saul: A te szavad-é ez, fiam, Dávid? És felkiálta Saul, és síra.

And he said to David, Thou art more righteous than I: for thou hast rewarded me good, whereas I have rewarded thee evil.

Şi a zis lui David: „Tu eşti mai bun decât mine; căci tu mi-ai făcut bine, iar eu ţi-am făcut rău.

He said to David, “You are more righteous than I, for you have repaid me good, whereas I have repaid you evil.

Majd azt mondta Dávidnak: Te igazságosabb vagy nálam, mert jót cselekedtél velem, pedig én rosszal fizettem neked.

És monda Dávidnak: Te igazságosabb vagy én nálamnál, mert te jót cselekedtél velem, én pedig rosszal fizettem néked.

And thou hast shewed this day how that thou hast dealt well with me: forasmuch as when the LORD had delivered me into thine hand, thou killedst me not.

Tu îţi arăţi azi bunătatea cu care te porţi faţă de mine, căci Domnul mă dăduse în mâinile tale, şi nu m-ai omorât.

And you have declared this day how you have dealt well with me, in that you did not kill me when the LORD put me into your hands.

És értésemre adtad nekem a mai napon, hogy milyen jót tettél velem, hogy az ÚR a kezedbe adott engem, és te mégsem öltél meg.

És te megmondottad nékem a mai napon, minémű jót cselekedtél velem, hogy az Úr kezedbe adott engem, és te még sem öltél meg engem.

For if a man find his enemy, will he let him go well away? wherefore the LORD reward thee good for that thou hast done unto me this day.

Dacă întâlneşte cineva pe vrăjmaşul lui, îl lasă oare să-şi urmeze drumul în linişte? Domnul să-ţi răsplătească pentru ce mi-ai făcut în ziua aceasta!

For if a man finds his enemy, will he let him go away safe? So may the LORD reward you with good for what you have done to me this day.

Mert ha valaki megtalálja ellenségét, békében útjára bocsátja-e? Ezért hát fizessen neked jóval az ÚR azért, amit ma tettél velem.

Mert ha valaki megtalálja ellenségét, elbocsátja-é őt békében az úton? Annakokáért fizessen az Úr néked jóval azért, a mit velem ma cselekedtél.

And now, behold, I know well that thou shalt surely be king, and that the kingdom of Israel shall be established in thine hand.

Acum iată, ştiu că tu vei domni şi că împărăţia lui Israel va rămâne în mâinile tale.

And now, behold, I know that you shall surely be king, and that the kingdom of Israel shall be established in your hand.

Most pedig, mivel tudom, hogy te király leszel, és Izráel királysága a te kezedben állandó lesz,

Most pedig, mivel tudom, hogy te király leszesz, és Izráelnek királysága a te kezedben állandó lesz:

Swear now therefore unto me by the LORD, that thou wilt not cut off my seed after me, and that thou wilt not destroy my name out of my father's house.

Jură-mi, dar, pe Domnul că nu-mi vei nimici sămânţa mea după mine şi că nu-mi vei şterge numele din casa tatălui meu.”

Swear to me therefore by the LORD that you will not cut off my offspring after me, and that you will not destroy my name out of my father’s house.”

esküdj meg nekem az ÚRra, hogy nem fogod kiirtani utódaimat, és nevemet nem fogod kitörölni atyám házából!

Esküdjél meg nékem most az Úrra, hogy én utánam nem fogod kiirtani maradékomat és nevemet nem fogod kitörölni atyám házából!

And David sware unto Saul. And Saul went home; but David and his men gat them up unto the hold.

David a jurat lui Saul. Apoi Saul a plecat acasă, iar David şi oamenii lui s-au suit în locul întărit.

And David swore this to Saul. Then Saul went home, but David and his men went up to the stronghold.

Dávid megesküdött Saulnak, és Saul hazament, Dávid és emberei pedig fölmentek a sziklavárba.

[És Dávid megesküvék Saulnak. És Saul elméne haza, Dávid pedig és az ő emberei felmenének az ő erősségökbe.]
