Azután ezt mondta Sámuel Saulnak: Engem küldött el az ÚR, hogy királylyá kenjelek föl népe, Izráel fölött. Most hát figyelj az ÚR beszédére.

És monda Sámuel Saulnak: Engem küldött el az Úr, hogy királylyá kenjelek fel téged az ő népe, az Izráel felett; most azért figyelj az Úr beszédének szavára.

Samuel also said unto Saul, The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD.

Samuel a zis lui Saul: „Pe mine m-a trimis Domnul să te ung împărat peste poporul Lui, peste Israel: ascultă, dar, ce zice Domnul.

And Samuel said to Saul, “The LORD sent me to anoint you king over his people Israel; now therefore listen to the words of the LORD.

Így szól a Seregek URa: Megemlékeztem arról, amit Amálék Izráellel cselekedett, hogy útját állta, amikor feljött Egyiptomból.

Így szól a Seregek Ura: Megemlékeztem arról, a mit cselekedett Amálek Izráellel, hogy útját állta néki, mikor feljöve Égyiptomból.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul oştirilor: „Mi-aduc aminte de ceea ce a făcut Amalec lui Israel, când i-a astupat drumul la ieşirea lui din Egipt.

Thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘I have noted what Amalek did to Israel in opposing them on the way when they came up out of Egypt.

Most azért menj el, és verd meg Amálékot, és pusztítsátok el mindenét. Ne kedvezz neki, hanem öld meg a férfit és az asszonyt is, a gyermeket és a csecsemőt is mind, valamint az ökröt, a juhot, a tevét, a szamarat.

Most azért menj el és verd meg Amáleket, és pusztítsátok el mindenét; és ne kedvezz néki, hanem öld meg mind a férfit, mind az asszonyt; mind a gyermeket, mind a csecsemőt; mind az ökröt, mind a juhot; mind a tevét, mind a szamarat.

Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.

Du-te acum, bate pe Amalec şi nimiceşte cu desăvârşire tot ce-i al lui; să nu-i cruţi, şi să omori bărbaţii şi femeile, copiii şi pruncii, cămilele şi măgarii, boii şi oile.”

Now go and strike Amalek and devote to destruction all that they have. Do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’”

Ekkor összehívta Saul a hadinépet, és megszámlálta őket Teláimban, kétszázezer gyalogost és tízezer embert Júdából.

És összehívá Saul a népet, és megszámlálá őket Thélaimban, kétszázezer gyalogost, és Júdából tízezer embert.

And Saul gathered the people together, and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen, and ten thousand men of Judah.

So Saul summoned the people and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand men on foot, and ten thousand men of Judah.

Azután Amálék városáig hatolt, és ott lesbe állt egy völgyben.

És elméne Saul Amálek városáig, és megütközék ott egy völgyben.

And Saul came to a city of Amalek, and laid wait in the valley.

Saul a mers până la cetatea lui Amalec şi a pus nişte oameni la pândă în vale.

And Saul came to the city of Amalek and lay in wait in the valley.

A kénieknek ezt mondta Saul: Menjetek el innen, távozzatok el az amálékiek közül, hogy titeket is el ne pusztítsalak velük együtt, mert ti irgalmasságot cselekedtetek Izráel minden fiával, amikor Egyiptomból följöttek. Erre eltávoztak a kéniek az amálékiek közül.

És monda Saul a Kéneusnak: Menjetek, távozzatok el, menjetek ki az Amálekiták közül, hogy velök együtt téged is el ne veszesselek, mert te irgalmasságot cselekedtél Izráel minden fiaival, mikor Égyiptomból feljövének. És eltávozék Kéneus az Amálekiták közül.

And Saul said unto the Kenites, Go, depart, get you down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them: for ye shewed kindness to all the children of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt. So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.

Şi a zis cheniţilor: „Duceţi-vă, plecaţi şi ieşiţi din mijlocul lui Amalec, ca să nu vă prăpădesc împreună cu el; căci voi v-aţi purtat cu bunăvoinţă faţă de copiii lui Israel, când s-au suit din Egipt.” Şi cheniţii au plecat din mijlocul lui Amalec.

Then Saul said to the Kenites, “Go, depart; go down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them. For you showed kindness to all the people of Israel when they came up out of Egypt.” So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.

Saul pedig megverte Amálékot Havílától egészen a Súrba vezető útig, mely Egyiptommal szemben van.

Saul pedig megveré Amáleket Havilától fogva egészen addig, a merre Súrba mennek, mely Égyiptom átellenében van.

And Saul smote the Amalekites from Havilah until thou comest to Shur, that is over against Egypt.

Saul a bătut pe Amalec, de la Havila până la Şur, care este în faţa Egiptului.

And Saul defeated the Amalekites from Havilah as far as Shur, which is east of Egypt.

Agágot, az amálékiek királyát élve fogta el, de az egész népet kardélre hányatta.

És Agágot, az Amálekiták királyát elfogta élve, a népet pedig mind kardélre hányatá.

And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.

A prins viu pe Agag, împăratul lui Amalec, şi a nimicit cu desăvârşire tot poporul, trecându-l prin ascuţişul sabiei.

And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive and devoted to destruction all the people with the edge of the sword.

Saul és népe azonban megkímélte Agágot és a juhoknak, marháknak a javát, azaz a másodellésüket és a bárányokat. Mindazt, ami jó volt, nem akarták elpusztítani, csak ami hitvány vagy értéktelen dolog volt, azt pusztították el.

Saul és a nép azonban megkímélte Agágot és a juhoknak, barmoknak és másodszülötteknek javát; a bárányokat és mindazt, a mi jó vala, nem akarták azokat elpusztítani, hanem a mi megvetett és értéktelen dolog volt, mindazt elpusztíták.

But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.

Dar Saul şi poporul au cruţat pe Agag şi oile cele mai bune, boii cei mai buni, vitele grase, mieii graşi şi tot ce era mai bun; n-a vrut să le nimicească cu desăvârşire, şi au nimicit numai tot ce era prost şi nebăgat în seamă.

But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep and of the oxen and of the fattened calves and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them. All that was despised and worthless they devoted to destruction.

Akkor így szólt az ÚR Sámuelhez:

Akkor szóla az Úr Sámuelnek, mondván:

Then came the word of the LORD unto Samuel, saying,

The word of the LORD came to Samuel:

Megbántam, hogy királlyá tettem Sault, mert eltávozott tőlem, és beszédeimet nem tartotta meg. Sámuel is felháborodott, és egész éjszaka az ÚRhoz kiáltott.

Megbántam, hogy Sault királylyá tettem, mert eltávozott tőlem, és beszédeimet nem tartotta meg. Sámuel pedig felháborodék és kiálta az Úrhoz egész éjszaka.

It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night.

„Îmi pare rău că am pus pe Saul împărat, căci se abate de la Mine şi nu păzeşte cuvintele Mele.” Samuel s-a mâhnit şi toată noaptea a strigat către Domnul.

“I regret that I have made Saul king, for he has turned back from following me and has not performed my commandments.” And Samuel was angry, and he cried to the LORD all night.

Majd korán fölkelt, hogy reggel találkozzék Saullal. De ekkor hírül adták Sámuelnak ezeket: Saul Kármelbe ment, és emlékoszlopot állított magának, azután megfordult, továbbment, és lement Gilgálba.

És korán felkele Sámuel, hogy találkozzék Saullal reggel; és hírül adák Sámuelnek, [ezt] mondván: Saul Kármelbe ment, és ímé emlékoszlopot állított magának; azután megfordula, és tovább ment és lement Gilgálba,

And when Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning, it was told Samuel, saying, Saul came to Carmel, and, behold, he set him up a place, and is gone about, and passed on, and gone down to Gilgal.

S-a sculat dis-de-dimineaţă ca să se ducă înaintea lui Saul. Şi au venit şi i-au spus: „Saul s-a dus la Carmel şi iată că şi-a înălţat un semn de biruinţă, apoi s-a întors şi, trecând mai departe, s-a coborât la Ghilgal.”

And Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning. And it was told Samuel, “Saul came to Carmel, and behold, he set up a monument for himself and turned and passed on and went down to Gilgal.”

Amint Sámuel Saulhoz érkezett, azt mondta neki Saul: Az ÚR áldottja vagy te. Teljesítettem, amit az ÚR parancsolt.

And Samuel came to Saul: and Saul said unto him, Blessed be thou of the LORD: I have performed the commandment of the LORD.

Samuel s-a dus la Saul, şi Saul i-a zis: „Fii binecuvântat de Domnul! Am păzit cuvântul Domnului.”

And Samuel came to Saul, and Saul said to him, “Blessed be you to the LORD. I have performed the commandment of the LORD.”

Sámuel azonban ezt mondta: Mi az a juhbégetés, mely a fülembe hat, és az az ökörbőgés, amelyet hallok?

Sámuel azonban monda: Micsoda az a juhbégetés, [mely] füleimbe [hat] és az az ökörbőgés, melyet hallok?

And Samuel said, What meaneth then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?

Samuel a zis: „Ce înseamnă behăitul acesta de oi care ajunge la urechile mele şi mugetul acesta de boi pe care-l aud?”

And Samuel said, “What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears and the lowing of the oxen that I hear?”

Saul ezt mondta: Az amálékiektől hozták azokat, mert a nép megkímélte a juhok és az ökrök javát, hogy feláldozza az ÚRnak, a te Istenednek. A többit pedig elpusztítottuk.

És monda Saul: Az Amálekitáktól hozták azokat, mert a nép megkímélte a juhoknak és ökröknek javát, hogy megáldozza az Úrnak, a te Istenednek; a többit pedig elpusztítottuk.

And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.

Saul a răspuns: „Le-au adus de la amaleciţi, pentru că poporul a cruţat oile cele mai bune şi boii cei mai buni, ca să-i jertfească Domnului Dumnezeului tău; iar pe celelalte le-am nimicit cu desăvârşire.”

Saul said, “They have brought them from the Amalekites, for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen to sacrifice to the LORD your God, and the rest we have devoted to destruction.”

Akkor Sámuel ezt mondta Saulnak: Engedd meg, hogy megmondjam neked, amit az ÚR mondott nekem ma éjjel. Ő pedig így felelt: Beszélj!

Akkor monda Sámuel Saulnak: Engedd meg, hogy megmondjam néked, a mit az Úr mondott nékem ez éjjel. Ő pedig monda néki: Beszélj.

Then Samuel said unto Saul, Stay, and I will tell thee what the LORD hath said to me this night. And he said unto him, Say on.

Samuel a zis lui Saul: „Stai, şi-ţi voi spune ce mi-a zis Domnul astă-noapte.” Şi Saul i-a zis: „Vorbeşte.”

Then Samuel said to Saul, “Stop! I will tell you what the LORD said to me this night.” And he said to him, “Speak.”

Erre Sámuel azt mondta: Nemde kicsi voltál a saját szemedben is, mégis Izráel törzseinek fejévé lettél, és az ÚR királlyá kent föl Izráel fölött?!

Monda azért Sámuel: Nemde kicsiny valál te a magad szemei előtt is, mindazáltal Izráel törzseinek fejévé lettél, és az Úr királylyá kent fel téged Izráel felett?!

And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel?

Samuel a zis: „Când erai mic în ochii tăi, n-ai ajuns tu căpetenia seminţiilor lui Israel şi nu te-a uns Domnul ca să fii împărat peste Israel?

And Samuel said, “Though you are little in your own eyes, are you not the head of the tribes of Israel? The LORD anointed you king over Israel.

Elküldött téged az ÚR utadra, és azt mondta: Menj, pusztítsd el a vétkes amálékieket, és hadakozzál ellenük mindaddig, amíg csak meg nem semmisíted őket.

És elkülde az Úr téged az úton, és azt mondá: Menj el, és pusztítsd el az Amálekitákat, kik vétkezének; és hadakozzál ellenök, míg megsemmisíted őket.

And the LORD sent thee on a journey, and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed.

Domnul te trimisese, zicând: „Du-te şi nimiceşte cu desăvârşire pe păcătoşii aceia, pe amaleciţi; războieşte-te cu ei până îi vei nimici.”

And the LORD sent you on a mission and said, ‘Go, devote to destruction the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are consumed.’

Miért nem hallgattál az ÚR szavára, miért estél neki a prédának, és tetted azt, amit rossznak lát az ÚR?

Miért nem hallgattál az Úrnak szavára, és [miért] estél néki a prédának, és cselekedted azt, a mi bűnös az Úr szemei előtt?

Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the LORD, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of the LORD?

Pentru ce n-ai ascultat glasul Domnului? Pentru ce te-ai aruncat asupra prăzii şi ai făcut ce este rău înaintea Domnului?”

Why then did you not obey the voice of the LORD? Why did you pounce on the spoil and do what was evil in the sight of the LORD?”

Saul így felelt Sámuelnek: Én bizony hallgattam az ÚR szavára, és azon az úton jártam, amelyre az ÚR elküldött, és elhoztam Agágot, az amálékiek királyát, és elpusztítottam az amálékieket.

És felele Saul Sámuelnek: Én bizonyára hallgattam az Úr szavára, és azon az úton jártam, a melyre engem az Úr elküldött; és elhoztam Agágot, az Amálekiták királyát, és az Amálekitákat elpusztítottam.

And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.

Saul a răspuns lui Samuel: „Am ascultat glasul Domnului şi m-am dus în calea pe care mă trimitea Domnul. Am adus pe Agag, împăratul lui Amalec, şi am nimicit cu desăvârşire pe amaleciţi;

And Saul said to Samuel, “I have obeyed the voice of the LORD. I have gone on the mission on which the LORD sent me. I have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and I have devoted the Amalekites to destruction.

De a nép elvette a prédából a kiirtásra szánt juhoknak és ökröknek a javát, hogy feláldozza az ÚRnak, a te Istenednek Gilgálban.

A nép azonban elvette a prédából a megsemmisítésre [rendelt] juhoknak és ökröknek javát, hogy megáldozza az Úrnak, a te Istenednek Gilgálban.

But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal.

dar poporul a luat din pradă oi şi boi, ca pârgă din ceea ce trebuia nimicit cu desăvârşire, ca să le jertfească Domnului Dumnezeului tău la Ghilgal.”

But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the best of the things devoted to destruction, to sacrifice to the LORD your God in Gilgal.”

Erre azt mondta Sámuel: Vajon kedvesebb-e az ÚR előtt az égő- és véresáldozat, mint az ÚR szava iránti engedelmesség? Íme, jobb az engedelmesség a véresáldozatnál és a szófogadás a kosok kövérjénél!

Sámuel pedig monda: Vajjon kedvesebb-é az Úr előtt az égő- és véres áldozat, mint az Úr szava iránt való engedelmesség? Ímé, jobb az engedelmesség a véres áldozatnál és a szófogadás a kosok kövérénél!

And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

Samuel a zis: „Îi plac Domnului mai mult arderile de tot şi jertfele decât ascultarea de glasul Domnului? Ascultarea face mai mult decât jertfele, şi păzirea cuvântului Său face mai mult decât grăsimea berbecilor.

And Samuel said, “Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.

Mert olyan az engedetlenség, mint a varázslás, és az ellenszegülés, mint a romlottság és a bálványimádás. Mivel megvetetted az ÚR beszédét, ő is megvetett téged, hogy ne légy király.

Mert, [mint] a varázslásnak bűne, [olyan] az engedetlenség; és bálványozás és bálványimádás az ellenszegülés. Mivel te megvetetted az Úrnak beszédét, ő is megvetett téged, hogy ne légy király.

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

Căci neascultarea este tot atât de vinovată ca ghicirea, şi împotrivirea nu este mai puţin vinovată decât închinarea la idoli şi terafimi. Fiindcă ai lepădat cuvântul Domnului, te leapădă şi El ca împărat.”

For rebellion is as the sin of divination, and presumption is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, he has also rejected you from being king.”

Erre Saul ezt mondta Sámuelnek: Vétkeztem, mert megszegtem az ÚR szavát és a te beszédedet. Mert féltem a néptől, azért hallgattam a szavukra.

Akkor monda Saul Sámuelnek: Vétkeztem, mert megszegtem az Úrnak szavát és a te beszédedet; [de] mivel féltem a néptől, azért hallgattam szavokra.

And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.

Atunci Saul a zis lui Samuel: „Am păcătuit, căci am călcat porunca Domnului şi n-am ascultat cuvintele tale; mă temeam de popor şi i-am ascultat glasul.

Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned, for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice.

Bocsásd meg azért vétkemet, és térj vissza velem, hogy könyörögjek az ÚRnak.

Most azért bocsásd meg az én vétkemet, és térj vissza velem, hogy könyörögjek az Úrnak.

Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD.

Acum, te rog, iartă-mi păcatul, întoarce-te cu mine, ca să mă închin până la pământ înaintea Domnului.”

Now therefore, please pardon my sin and return with me that I may bow before the LORD.”

Sámuel pedig ezt felelte Saulnak: Nem térek vissza veled, mert megvetetted az ÚR beszédét, és az ÚR is megvetett téged, hogy ne légy király Izráel fölött.

Sámuel pedig monda Saulnak: Nem térek vissza veled, mert megvetetted az Úrnak beszédét, és az Úr is megvetett téged, hogy ne légy király Izráel felett.

And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.

Samuel a zis lui Saul: „Nu mă voi întoarce cu tine: fiindcă ai lepădat cuvântul Domnului, şi Domnul te leapădă, ca să nu mai fii împărat peste Israel.”

And Samuel said to Saul, “I will not return with you. For you have rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD has rejected you from being king over Israel.”

És amikor Sámuel megfordult, hogy elmenjen, Saul megragadta felsőruhájának a szárnyát, és az leszakadt.

És mikor megfordula Sámuel, hogy elmenjen, megragadta felső ruhájának szárnyát, és leszakada.

And as Samuel turned about to go away, he laid hold upon the skirt of his mantle, and it rent.

Şi pe când se întorcea Samuel să plece, Saul l-a apucat de pulpana hainei, şi s-a rupt.

As Samuel turned to go away, Saul seized the skirt of his robe, and it tore.

Ekkor azt mondta neki Sámuel: Elszakította tőled az ÚR a mai napon Izráel királyságát és másnak adta, aki jobb nálad.

Akkor monda néki Sámuel: Elszakítá tőled az Úr a mai napon Izráelnek királyságát, és adta azt felebarátodnak, a ki jobb náladnál.

And Samuel said unto him, The LORD hath rent the kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbour of thine, that is better than thou.

Samuel i-a zis: „Domnul rupe astăzi domnia lui Israel deasupra ta şi o dă altuia mai bun decât tine.

And Samuel said to him, “The LORD has torn the kingdom of Israel from you this day and has given it to a neighbor of yours, who is better than you.

Izráel Felségese pedig nem hazudik, és semmit meg nem bán, mert nem ember ő, hogy valamit megbánjon.

Izráelnek erőssége pedig nem hazudik, és semmit meg nem bán, mert nem ember ő, hogy valamit megbánjon.

And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.

Cel ce este tăria lui Israel nu minte şi nu Se căieşte, căci nu este un om ca să-I pară rău.”

And also the Glory of Israel will not lie or have regret, for he is not a man, that he should have regret.”

Saul azt mondta: Vétkeztem, de azért becsülj meg engem népem vénei előtt és Izráel előtt. Jöjj vissza velem, hogy könyörögjek az ÚRnak, a te Istenednek.

És ő monda: Vétkeztem, mindazáltal becsülj meg engem népemnek vénei előtt és Izráel előtt, és velem térj vissza, hogy könyörögjek az Úrnak, a te Istenednek.

Then he said, I have sinned: yet honour me now, I pray thee, before the elders of my people, and before Israel, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD thy God.

Saul a zis iarăşi: „Am păcătuit! Acum, te rog, cinsteşte-mă în faţa bătrânilor poporului meu şi în faţa lui Israel; întoarce-te cu mine, ca să mă închin înaintea Domnului Dumnezeului tău.”

Then he said, “I have sinned; yet honor me now before the elders of my people and before Israel, and return with me, that I may bow before the LORD your God.”

Erre Sámuel Saullal tért vissza, és Saul könyörgött az ÚRnak.

Visszatére azért Sámuel Saullal, és könyörgött Saul az Úrnak.

So Samuel turned again after Saul; and Saul worshipped the LORD.

Samuel s-a întors şi a mers după Saul, şi Saul s-a închinat înaintea Domnului.

So Samuel turned back after Saul, and Saul bowed before the LORD.

Sámuel pedig ezt mondta: Hozzátok ide elém Agágot, Amálék királyát. Agág odament hozzá kevélyen, mivel ezt gondolta magában: Bizonyára eltávozott a halál keserűsége.

Sámuel pedig monda: Hozzátok ide előmbe Agágot, Amálek királyát. És elméne Agág kényesen ő hozzá, és monda Agág: Bizonyára eltávozék a halál keserűsége.

Then said Samuel, Bring ye hither to me Agag the king of the Amalekites. And Agag came unto him delicately. And Agag said, Surely the bitterness of death is past.

Apoi Samuel a zis: „Adu-mi pe Agag, împăratul lui Amalec.” Şi Agag a înaintat vesel spre el, căci zicea: „Negreşit, a trecut amărăciunea morţii!”

Then Samuel said, “Bring here to me Agag the king of the Amalekites.” And Agag came to him cheerfully. Agag said, “Surely the bitterness of death is past.”

De Sámuel ezt mondta neki: Ahogy a te kardod asszonyokat tett gyermektelenné, úgy legyen gyermektelenné minden asszony között a te anyád is! És darabokra vagdalta Agágot az ÚR előtt Gilgálban.

És monda Sámuel: Miként a te kardod asszonyokat tett gyermektelenekké, úgy legyen gyermektelenné [minden] asszonyok felett a te anyád! És darabokra vagdalá Sámuel Agágot az Úr előtt Gilgálban.

And Samuel said, As the sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.

Samuel a zis: „După cum sabia ta a lăsat femei fără copii, tot aşa şi mama ta va fi lăsată fără copii între femei.” Şi Samuel a tăiat pe Agag în bucăţi înaintea Domnului, la Ghilgal.

And Samuel said, “As your sword has made women childless, so shall your mother be childless among women.” And Samuel hacked Agag to pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.

Then Samuel went to Ramah; and Saul went up to his house to Gibeah of Saul.

Samuel a plecat la Rama, şi Saul s-a suit acasă la Ghibeea lui Saul.

Then Samuel went to Ramah, and Saul went up to his house in Gibeah of Saul.

Sámuel pedig nem látogatta meg többé Sault egészen halála napjáig. De Sámuel bánkódott Saul miatt. Az ÚR pedig megbánta, hogy királlyá tette Sault Izráel fölött.

És Sámuel nem látogatá meg többé Sault egész halálának idejéig; de bánkódék Sámuel Saul miatt. Az Úr pedig megbánta, hogy királylyá tette Sault Izráel felett.

And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the LORD repented that he had made Saul king over Israel.

Samuel nu s-a mai dus să vadă pe Saul până în ziua morţii sale. Dar Samuel plângea pe Saul, pentru că Domnul Se căise că pusese pe Saul împărat peste Israel.

And Samuel did not see Saul again until the day of his death, but Samuel grieved over Saul. And the LORD regretted that he had made Saul king over Israel.
