And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.

As soon as he had finished speaking to Saul, the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.

And Saul took him that day, and would let him go no more home to his father's house.

Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.

And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle.

And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was on him and gave it to David, and his armor, and even his sword and his bow and his belt.

És Dávid mindenhova elment, ahová Saul küldte, és útja sikeres volt. Saul a harcosok élére állította, és kedves lett az egész nép előtt és Saul szolgái előtt is.

És elméne Dávid mindenüvé, a hová Saul küldé, és magát eszesen viseli vala. És Saul a harczosok fölé tevé őt, és kedves lőn az egész nép előtt, és a Saul szolgái előtt is.

And David went out whithersoever Saul sent him, and behaved himself wisely: and Saul set him over the men of war, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Saul's servants.

David se ducea şi izbutea oriunde-l trimitea Saul; a fost pus de Saul în fruntea oamenilor de război şi era plăcut întregului popor, chiar şi slujitorilor lui Saul.

And David went out and was successful wherever Saul sent him, so that Saul set him over the men of war. And this was good in the sight of all the people and also in the sight of Saul’s servants.

Amint hazafelé jöttek, amikor Dávid a filiszteusok leveréséből tért vissza, kimentek az asszonyok Saul király elé Izráel minden városából énekelni, körtáncot járni, dobolva, vígan, tamburákon játszva.

És a mint [hazafelé] jövének, mikor Dávid visszatért, miután a Filiszteusokat leverte, kimentek az asszonyok Saul király elé Izráelnek minden városaiból, hogy énekeljenek és körben tánczoljanak, dobokkal, vígassággal és tomborákkal.

And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of musick.

Pe când veneau ei, la întoarcerea lui David de la omorârea filisteanului, femeile au ieşit din toate cetăţile lui Israel înaintea împăratului Saul, cântând şi jucând, în sunetul timpanelor şi lăutelor şi scoţând strigăte de bucurie.

As they were coming home, when David returned from striking down the Philistine, the women came out of all the cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet King Saul, with tambourines, with songs of joy, and with musical instruments.

A táncoló asszonyok így kezdtek énekelni: Megverte Saul a maga ezrét és Dávid is az ő tízezrét.

És énekelni kezdének az asszonyok, kik vígadozának és mondának: Megverte Saul az ő ezerét és Dávid is az ő tízezerét.

And the women answered one another as they played, and said, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands.

Femeile care cântau îşi răspundeau unele altora şi ziceau: „Saul a bătut miile lui, iar David zecile lui de mii.”

And the women sang to one another as they celebrated, “Saul has struck down his thousands, and David his ten thousands.”

Saul ezen igen megharagudott, és nem tetszett neki ez a beszéd, mert azt gondolta: Dávidnak, lám, tízezret tulajdonítanak, nekem pedig csak ezret, így hát már csak a királyság hiányzik neki!

Saul pedig igen megharaguvék, és gonosznak tetszék az ő szemei előtt ez a beszéd, és monda: Dávidnak tízezeret tulajdonítanak és nékem tulajdonítják az ezeret, így hát már csak a királyság [hiányzik] néki.

And Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom?

Saul s-a mâniat foarte tare şi nu i-a plăcut vorba aceasta. El a zis: „Lui David îi dau zece mii şi mie-mi dau mii! Nu-i mai lipseşte decât împărăţia.”

And Saul was very angry, and this saying displeased him. He said, “They have ascribed to David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed thousands, and what more can he have but the kingdom?”

Ezért Saul attól a naptól fogva mindig rossz szemmel nézett Dávidra.

Saul azért attól a naptól kezdve rossz szemmel néz vala Dávidra, sőt azután is.

And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.

Şi din ziua aceea, Saul a privit cu ochi răi pe David.

And Saul eyed David from that day on.

Másnap aztán megszállta Sault az Istentől küldött gonosz lélek, és révületbe esett a házában. Dávid pedig hárfázott, ahogy mindennap szokott; Saul kezében pedig egy dárda volt.

Másnap pedig megszállta Sault az Istentől [küldött] gonosz lélek, és prófétálni kezde a maga házában; Dávid pedig hárfázott kezével, mint naponként [szokta,] és a dárda Saul kezében vala.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul, and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand, as at other times: and there was a javelin in Saul's hand.

A doua zi, duhul cel rău, trimis de Dumnezeu, a apucat pe Saul, care s-a înfuriat în mijlocul casei. David cânta, ca şi în celelalte zile, şi Saul era cu suliţa în mână.

The next day a harmful spirit from God rushed upon Saul, and he raved within his house while David was playing the lyre, as he did day by day. Saul had his spear in his hand.

És elhajította Saul a dárdát, mert azt gondolta: a falhoz szögezem Dávidot. De Dávid két ízben is félrehajolt előle.

És elhajítá Saul a dárdát, azt gondolván: Dávidot a falhoz szegezem; de Dávid két ízben is félrehajolt előle.

And Saul cast the javelin; for he said, I will smite David even to the wall with it. And David avoided out of his presence twice.

Saul a ridicat suliţa, zicându-şi în sine: „Voi pironi pe David de perete.” Dar David s-a ferit de el de două ori.

And Saul hurled the spear, for he thought, “I will pin David to the wall.” But David evaded him twice.

És félni kezdett Saul Dávidtól, mert vele volt az ÚR, Saultól pedig eltávozott.

És félni kezde Saul Dávidtól, mert az Úr vele volt, Saultól pedig eltávozék.

And Saul was afraid of David, because the LORD was with him, and was departed from Saul.

Saul se temea de David, pentru că Domnul era cu David şi Se depărtase de la el.

Saul was afraid of David because the LORD was with him but had departed from Saul.

Ezért Saul elbocsátotta őt maga mellől és ezredesévé tette, hogy vonuljon a hadinép élén.

És Saul elbocsátá őt magától és ezredesévé tevé; és kimegy vala és bejő vala a nép előtt.

Therefore Saul removed him from him, and made him his captain over a thousand; and he went out and came in before the people.

L-a îndepărtat de lângă el şi l-a pus mai mare peste o mie de oameni. David ieşea şi intra în fruntea poporului;

So Saul removed him from his presence and made him a commander of a thousand. And he went out and came in before the people.

És Dávid minden útjában sikeresen forgolódott, mert az ÚR vele volt.

És Dávid minden útjában magát eszesen viseli vala, mert az Úr vele volt.

And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the LORD was with him.

izbutea în tot ce făcea, şi Domnul era cu el.

And David had success in all his undertakings, for the LORD was with him.

Mikor pedig látta Saul, hogy milyen sikeres, félni kezdett tőle.

Mikor pedig látta Saul, hogy ő igen eszesen viseli magát, félni kezde tőle.

Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was afraid of him.

Saul, văzând că izbutea întotdeauna, se temea de el;

And when Saul saw that he had great success, he stood in fearful awe of him.

De egész Izráel és Júda szerette Dávidot, mert ő vonult az élükön ki és be.

But all Israel and Judah loved David, because he went out and came in before them.

Saul egyszer így szólt Dávidhoz: Íme, idősebbik leányomat, Mérabot neked adom feleségül, csak légy az én vitézem, és harcold az ÚR harcait. Mert azt gondolta Saul: Ne az én kezem által vesszen el, hanem a filiszteusok keze által.

És monda Saul Dávidnak: Ímé idősebbik leányomat, Mérábot néked adom feleségül, csak légy az én vitéz fiam, és harczold az Úrnak harczait; mert [azt] gondolá Saul: Ne az én kezem által vesszen el, hanem a Filiszteusok keze által.

And Saul said to David, Behold my elder daughter Merab, her will I give thee to wife: only be thou valiant for me, and fight the LORD's battles. For Saul said, Let not mine hand be upon him, but let the hand of the Philistines be upon him.

Saul a zis lui David: „Iată, îţi voi da de nevastă pe fiica mea cea mai mare, Merab: numai să-mi slujeşti cu vitejie şi să porţi războaiele Domnului.” Dar Saul îşi zicea: „Nu vreau să-mi pun mâna mea pe el, ci mâna filistenilor să fie asupra lui.”

Then Saul said to David, “Here is my elder daughter Merab. I will give her to you for a wife. Only be valiant for me and fight the LORD’s battles.” For Saul thought, “Let not my hand be against him, but let the hand of the Philistines be against him.”

Dávid pedig azt felelte Saulnak: Ki vagyok én, és mi az én életem és apám családja Izráelben, hogy a király veje legyek ?

Dávid pedig monda Saulnak: Kicsoda vagyok én, és micsoda az én életem, és atyámnak családja Izráelben, hogy a királynak veje legyek?

And David said unto Saul, Who am I? and what is my life, or my father's family in Israel, that I should be son in law to the king?

David a răspuns lui Saul: „Cine sunt eu şi ce este viaţa mea, ce este familia tatălui meu în Israel, ca să fiu ginerele împăratului?”

And David said to Saul, “Who am I, and who are my relatives, my father’s clan in Israel, that I should be son-in-law to the king?”

De amikor Saul leányát, Mérabot hozzá kellett volna adni Dávidhoz, mégis a mehólai Adriélhez adták feleségül.

De történt abban az időben, mikor Mérábot, a Saul leányát Dávidnak kellett volna adni, hogy a Meholáthból való Hadrielnek adták őt feleségül.

But it came to pass at the time when Merab Saul's daughter should have been given to David, that she was given unto Adriel the Meholathite to wife.

Venind vremea când Merab, fata lui Saul, avea să fie dată lui David, ea a fost dată de nevastă lui Adriel, din Mehola.

But at the time when Merab, Saul’s daughter, should have been given to David, she was given to Adriel the Meholathite for a wife.

Saul leánya, Míkal azonban megszerette Dávidot. Amikor ezt megmondták Saulnak, tetszett neki a dolog.

Mikál, a Saul leánya azonban megszereté Dávidot, és mikor ezt megmondák Saulnak, tetszék néki a dolog.

And Michal Saul's daughter loved David: and they told Saul, and the thing pleased him.

Mical, fata lui Saul, iubea pe David. Au spus lui Saul, şi lucrul i-a plăcut.

Now Saul’s daughter Michal loved David. And they told Saul, and the thing pleased him.

Azt gondolta: Nekiadom őt, hogy ő legyen majd veszedelmére, és ő legyen a filiszteusok eszköze ellene. Ezért Saul másodszor is azt mondta Dávidnak: Légy akkor most a vőm.

És monda Saul: Néki adom őt, hogy ő legyen veszedelmére és a Filiszteusok keze legyen ellene. Monda azért Saul Dávidnak másodízben: Légy [tehát] most az én vőm.

And Saul said, I will give him her, that she may be a snare to him, and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him. Wherefore Saul said to David, Thou shalt this day be my son in law in the one of the twain.

El îşi zicea: „I-o voi da ca să-i fie o cursă şi să cadă sub mâna filistenilor.” Şi Saul a zis lui David pentru a doua oară: „Astăzi îmi vei fi ginere.”

Saul thought, “Let me give her to him, that she may be a snare for him and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him.” Therefore Saul said to David a second time, “You shall now be my son-in-law.”

És megparancsolta Saul a szolgáinak: Beszéljetek Dáviddal titokban, és mondjátok ezt neki: Íme, a király jóindulattal van irántad, és szolgái is mind szeretnek, légy azért a veje a királynak.

És megparancsolá Saul az ő szolgáinak: Beszéljetek Dáviddal titokban, mondván: Ímé a király jóindulattal van irántad, és szolgái is mind szeretnek téged, légy azért veje a királynak.

And Saul commanded his servants, saying, Commune with David secretly, and say, Behold, the king hath delight in thee, and all his servants love thee: now therefore be the king's son in law.

Saul a dat slujitorilor săi următoarea poruncă: „Vorbiţi în taină lui David şi spuneţi-i: „Iată că împăratul e binevoitor faţă de tine şi toţi slujitorii lui te iubesc; fii acum ginerele împăratului.”

And Saul commanded his servants, “Speak to David in private and say, ‘Behold, the king has delight in you, and all his servants love you. Now then become the king’s son-in-law.’”

A szolgák el is mondták ezeket Dávidnak, de ő így felelt: Olyan csekélységnek látjátok, hogy valaki a király vejévé legyen? Hiszen én szegény és alacsonyrendű ember vagyok!

És elmondák a szolgák Dávid előtt e beszédeket. Dávid pedig monda: Olyan kicsiny dolog előttetek, hogy a király vejévé legyen [valaki,] holott én szegény és megvetett ember vagyok?

And Saul's servants spake those words in the ears of David. And David said, Seemeth it to you a light thing to be a king's son in law, seeing that I am a poor man, and lightly esteemed?

Slujitorii lui Saul au spus aceste lucruri la urechile lui David. Şi David a răspuns: „Credeţi că este uşor să fii ginerele împăratului? Eu sunt un om sărac şi de puţină însemnătate.”

And Saul’s servants spoke those words in the ears of David. And David said, “Does it seem to you a little thing to become the king’s son-in-law, since I am a poor man and have no reputation?”

És elmondták Saulnak a szolgái, hogy ezt meg ezt mondta Dávid.

És megmondák Saulnak az ő szolgái, mondván: Ezt meg ezt mondta Dávid.

And the servants of Saul told him, saying, On this manner spake David.

Slujitorii lui Saul i-au spus ce răspunsese David.

And the servants of Saul told him, “Thus and so did David speak.”

Saul ekkor így szólt: Mondjátok meg Dávidnak, nem kíván a király más jegyajándékot, csak száz filiszteus előbőrét, hogy bosszút állj a király ellenségein. Mert Saul a filiszteusok keze által akarta elveszíteni Dávidot.

Saul pedig monda: Mondjátok meg Dávidnak: Nem kiván a király [más] jegyajándékot, hanem csak száz Filiszteus előbőrét, hogy bosszút állj a király ellenségein; mert Saul a Filiszteusok keze által akará Dávidot elpusztítani.

And Saul said, Thus shall ye say to David, The king desireth not any dowry, but an hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to be avenged of the king's enemies. But Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines.

Saul a zis: „Aşa să vorbiţi lui David: „Împăratul nu cere nicio zestre; ci doreşte o sută de prepuţuri de ale filistenilor, ca să-şi răzbune pe vrăjmaşii lui.” Saul avea de gând să facă pe David să cadă în mâinile filistenilor.

Then Saul said, “Thus shall you say to David, ‘The king desires no bride-price except a hundred foreskins of the Philistines, that he may be avenged of the king’s enemies.’” Now Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines.

Megmondták tehát az ő szolgái Dávidnak ezeket a beszédeket, és tetszett a dolog neki, hogy a király veje legyen. A kitűzött napok még el sem jöttek,

Megmondák azért az ő szolgái Dávidnak e beszédeket; és tetszék ez a dolog Dávidnak, hogy a király veje legyen. A [kitűzött] napok még el sem telének,

And when his servants told David these words, it pleased David well to be the king's son in law: and the days were not expired.

Slujitorii lui Saul au spus aceste cuvinte lui David, şi David a primit ce i se ceruse, pentru ca să fie ginerele împăratului. Înainte de vremea hotărâtă,

And when his servants told David these words, it pleased David well to be the king’s son-in-law. Before the time had expired,

amikor Dávid fölkelt, elment az embereivel, és levágott a filiszteusok közül kétszáz férfit. Elhozta Dávid az előbőrüket, és mind beadta azokat a királynak, hogy annak veje lehessen. Erre Saul hozzáadta feleségül a leányát, Míkalt.

Mikor Dávid felkelt, és elment embereivel együtt, és levágott a Filiszteusok közül kétszáz férfit; és elhozá Dávid előbőreiket, és mind beadta azokat a királynak, hogy a királynak veje lehessen. És néki adá Saul az ő leányát, Mikált, feleségül.

Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the king's son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife.

David s-a sculat, a plecat cu oamenii lui şi a ucis două sute de oameni dintre filisteni, le-a adus prepuţurile şi a dat împăratului numărul întreg, ca să fie ginerele împăratului. Atunci Saul i-a dat de nevastă pe fiica sa Mical.

David arose and went, along with his men, and killed two hundred of the Philistines. And David brought their foreskins, which were given in full number to the king, that he might become the king’s son-in-law. And Saul gave him his daughter Michal for a wife.

Mikor pedig Saul látta és megértette, hogy az ÚR Dáviddal van, és Míkal, a leánya szereti őt,

Mikor pedig Saul látta és megtudta, hogy az Úr Dáviddal van, és Mikál, a Saul leánya szereti őt:

And Saul saw and knew that the LORD was with David, and that Michal Saul's daughter loved him.

Saul a văzut şi a înţeles că Domnul era cu David; şi fiica sa Mical iubea pe David.

But when Saul saw and knew that the LORD was with David, and that Michal, Saul’s daughter, loved him,

még inkább félni kezdett Dávidtól. És Saul ellensége lett Dávidnak egész életében.

Akkor Saul még inkább félni kezde Dávidtól. És Saul ellensége lőn Dávidnak teljes életében.

And Saul was yet the more afraid of David; and Saul became David's enemy continually.

Saul s-a temut din ce în ce mai mult de David şi toată viaţa i-a fost vrăjmaş.

Saul was even more afraid of David. So Saul was David’s enemy continually.

A filiszteusok vezérei pedig gyakran betörtek, de valahányszor betörtek, Dávid mindig nagyobb sikert ért el, mint Saul összes többi szolgája, és ezért igen híressé lett a neve.

A Filiszteusok vezérei pedig [gyakran] betörnek vala, de valahányszor betörének, Dávid Saul minden szolgáinál eszesebben viselé magát; azért felette híressé lőn az ő neve.

Then the princes of the Philistines went forth: and it came to pass, after they went forth, that David behaved himself more wisely than all the servants of Saul; so that his name was much set by.

Domnitorii filistenilor ieşeau la luptă; şi ori de câte ori ieşeau, David avea mai multă izbândă decât toţi slujitorii lui Saul, şi numele lui a ajuns foarte vestit.

Then the commanders of the Philistines came out to battle, and as often as they came out David had more success than all the servants of Saul, so that his name was highly esteemed.
