Abban az időben a filiszteusok összegyűjtötték seregeiket, hogy Izráel ellen harcoljanak. Ákis azt mondta Dávidnak: Tudd meg, hogy neked és embereidnek is velem kell jönnötök a táborba.

És történt abban az időben, hogy a Filiszteusok összegyűjték seregeiket a hadra, hogy harczoljanak Izráel ellen. És monda Ákhis Dávidnak: Tudd meg, hogy velem kell jőnöd a táborba, mind néked, mind embereidnek.

And it came to pass in those days, that the Philistines gathered their armies together for warfare, to fight with Israel. And Achish said unto David, Know thou assuredly, that thou shalt go out with me to battle, thou and thy men.

Pe vremea aceea, filistenii şi-au strâns taberele şi au făcut o oştire ca să pornească cu război împotriva lui Israel. Achiş a zis lui David: „Să ştii că vei veni cu mine la oştire, tu şi oamenii tăi.”

In those days the Philistines gathered their forces for war, to fight against Israel. And Achish said to David, “Understand that you and your men are to go out with me in the army.”

Dávid pedig így felelt: Akkor majd megtudod, hogy mit tud tenni a te szolgád! Erre Ákis azt mondta Dávidnak: Ezért testőrömmé teszlek mindenkorra.

Dávid pedig felele Ákhisnak: Meglátod bizonynyal, hogy mit fog cselekedni a te szolgád. És monda Ákhis Dávidnak: Ennélfogva fejem oltalmazójává teszlek mindenkorra.

And David said to Achish, Surely thou shalt know what thy servant can do. And Achish said to David, Therefore will I make thee keeper of mine head for ever.

David a răspuns lui Achiş: „Ei bine, vei vedea ce va face robul tău.” Şi Achiş a zis lui David: „De aceea, te voi pune păzitorul capului meu în tot timpul.” –

David said to Achish, “Very well, you shall know what your servant can do.” And Achish said to David, “Very well, I will make you my bodyguard for life.”

Sámuel pedig meghalt, és egész Izráel siratta. Saját városában, Rámában temették el. Saul pedig a varázslókat és a jövendőmondókat eltávolította az országból.

Sámuel pedig meghalt vala, és siratá őt az egész Izráel, és eltemeték őt saját városában, Rámában; Saul pedig a varázslókat és jövendőmondókat kiirtá a földről.

Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land.

Samuel murise. Tot Israelul îl plânsese şi-l îngropaseră la Rama în cetatea lui. Saul îndepărtase din ţară pe cei ce chemau morţii şi pe cei ce ghiceau. –

Now Samuel had died, and all Israel had mourned for him and buried him in Ramah, his own city. And Saul had put the mediums and the necromancers out of the land.

A filiszteusok tehát összegyűltek, fölvonultak, és tábort ütöttek Súnémnél, Saul pedig összegyűjtötte egész Izráelt, és tábort vertek Gilbóánál.

És mikor a Filiszteusok egybegyűlvén, eljövének és tábort járának Sunemnél: egybegyűjté Saul is az egész Izráelt, és tábort járának Gilboánál.

And the Philistines gathered themselves together, and came and pitched in Shunem: and Saul gathered all Israel together, and they pitched in Gilboa.

Filistenii s-au strâns şi au venit de au tăbărât la Sunem: Saul a strâns pe tot Israelul şi au tăbărât la Ghilboa.

The Philistines assembled and came and encamped at Shunem. And Saul gathered all Israel, and they encamped at Gilboa.

Amikor azonban Saul meglátta a filiszteusok táborát, megijedt, és szíve igen megrettent.

A mint azonban Saul meglátta a Filiszteusok táborát, megfélemlék és az ő szíve nagyon megrémüle.

And when Saul saw the host of the Philistines, he was afraid, and his heart greatly trembled.

La vederea taberei filistenilor, Saul a fost cuprins de frică, şi un tremur puternic i-a apucat inima.

When Saul saw the army of the Philistines, he was afraid, and his heart trembled greatly.

Megkérdezte hát Saul az URat, de az ÚR nem felelt neki sem álomlátás, sem az urím, sem a próféták által.

És megkérdezé Saul az Urat, de az Úr nem felelt néki sem álomlátás, sem az Urim, sem a próféták által.

And when Saul enquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets.

Saul a întrebat pe Domnul, şi Domnul nu i-a răspuns nici prin vise, nici prin Urim, nici prin proroci.

And when Saul inquired of the LORD, the LORD did not answer him, either by dreams, or by Urim, or by prophets.

Akkor Saul azt mondta szolgáinak: Keressetek nekem egy halottidéző asszonyt, hogy elmenjek hozzá, és őt kérdezzem meg. Szolgái pedig azt mondták neki: Íme, Éndórban van egy halottidéző asszony.

Akkor monda Saul az ő szolgáinak: Keressetek nékem egy halottidéző asszonyt, hogy elmenjek hozzá, és megkérdezzem őt. Szolgái pedig mondának néki: Ímé, Endorban van egy halottidéző asszony.

Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor.

Atunci Saul a zis slujitorilor lui: „Căutaţi-mi o femeie care să cheme morţii, ca să mă duc s-o întreb.” Slujitorii lui i-au zis: „Iată că în En-Dor este o femeie care cheamă morţii.”

Then Saul said to his servants, “Seek out for me a woman who is a medium, that I may go to her and inquire of her.” And his servants said to him, “Behold, there is a medium at En-dor.”

Saul ekkor elváltoztatta külsejét, álruhába öltözött, elment két férfival, és éjjel odaértek az asszonyhoz. Akkor azt mondta neki: Mondj jövendőt nekem halottidézés által, és idézd föl nekem azt, akit mondok neked.

Másnak tetteté azért Saul magát, és más ruhákat vevén magára, elméne ő és vele két férfi; és elmenének éjjel az asszonyhoz, és monda: Mondj jövendőt nékem halottidézés által, és idézd fel nékem azt, a kit mondok néked.

And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee.

Atunci Saul s-a schimbat, a luat alte haine şi a plecat cu doi oameni. Au ajuns la femeia aceea noaptea. Saul i-a zis: „Spune-mi viitorul chemând un mort şi scoală-mi pe cine-ţi voi spune.”

So Saul disguised himself and put on other garments and went, he and two men with him. And they came to the woman by night. And he said, “Divine for me by a spirit and bring up for me whomever I shall name to you.”

Az asszony azt mondta neki: Nyilván jól tudod, hogy mit tett Saul: hogy kiirtotta a földről a varázslókat és a jövendőmondókat. Miért akarod hát tőrbe ejteni a lelkemet, hogy megöless?

És monda az asszony néki: Ímé te [jól] tudod, hogy mit cselekedett Saul, hogy kiirtá a földről a varázslókat és jövendőmondókat; miért akarod azért tőrbe ejteni az én lelkemet, hogy megöless engem?!

And the woman said unto him, Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath done, how he hath cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life, to cause me to die?

Femeia i-a răspuns: „Ştii ce a făcut Saul, cum a nimicit din ţară pe cei ce cheamă morţii şi pe cei ce ghicesc viitorul: pentru ce, dar, întinzi o cursă vieţii mele, ca să mă omori?”

The woman said to him, “Surely you know what Saul has done, how he has cut off the mediums and the necromancers from the land. Why then are you laying a trap for my life to bring about my death?”

Erre Saul megesküdött neki az ÚRra: Él az ÚR, hogy e dolog miatt nem ér büntetés.

És megesküvék néki Saul az Úrra, mondván: Él az Úr, hogy e dolog miatt büntetésed nem lészen.

And Saul sware to her by the LORD, saying, As the LORD liveth, there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing.

Saul i-a jurat pe Domnul şi a zis: „Viu este Domnul, că nu ţi se va întâmpla niciun rău pentru aceasta.”

But Saul swore to her by the LORD, “As the LORD lives, no punishment shall come upon you for this thing.”

Akkor megkérdezte az asszony: Kit idézzek meg neked? Ő azt felelte: Sámuelt idézd meg nekem.

Monda azért az asszony: Kit idézzek fel néked? És ő monda: Sámuelt idézd fel nékem.

Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel.

Femeia a zis: „Pe cine vrei să-ţi scol?” Şi el a răspuns: „Scoală-mi pe Samuel.”

Then the woman said, “Whom shall I bring up for you?” He said, “Bring up Samuel for me.”

Mikor pedig az asszony meglátta Sámuelt, hangosan fölkiáltott, és így szólt Saulhoz: Miért vezettél félre? Hiszen te vagy Saul!

Mikor pedig az asszony Sámuelt meglátta, hangosan felkiáltott. És szóla az asszony Saulnak, mondván: Miért csaltál meg engem? hiszen te vagy Saul!

And when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice: and the woman spake to Saul, saying, Why hast thou deceived me? for thou art Saul.

Când a văzut femeia pe Samuel, a scos un ţipăt mare şi a zis lui Saul: „Pentru ce m-ai înşelat? Tu eşti Saul!”

When the woman saw Samuel, she cried out with a loud voice. And the woman said to Saul, “Why have you deceived me? You are Saul.”

Erre azt mondta neki a király: Ne félj! Ugyan mit láttál? Az asszony pedig ezt mondta Saulnak: Istenfélét látok feljönni a földből.

És monda néki a király: Ne félj! Ugyan mit láttál? Az asszony pedig monda Saulnak: istenfélét látok feljőni a földből.

And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth.

Împăratul i-a zis: „Nu te teme de nimic; dar ce vezi?” Femeia a zis lui Saul: „Văd o fiinţă dumnezeiască sculându-se din pământ.”

The king said to her, “Do not be afraid. What do you see?” And the woman said to Saul, “I see a god coming up out of the earth.”

Ő azt kérdezte: Milyen az alakja? Ő pedig ezt mondta: Egy vénember jön fölfelé, és palást van rajta. Saul megismerte, hogy Sámuel az, és meghajolt arccal a föld felé, és tisztességet tett neki.

És ő monda néki: Milyen ábrázata van? Ő pedig monda: Egy vén ember jő fel, és palást van rajta. És megismeré Saul, hogy az Sámuel, és meghajtá magát arczczal a föld felé, és tisztességet tőn [néki.]

And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself.

El i-a zis: „Cum e la chip?” Şi ea a răspuns: „Este un bătrân care se scoală şi este învelit cu o mantie.” Saul a înţeles că era Samuel şi s-a plecat cu faţa la pământ şi s-a închinat.

He said to her, “What is his appearance?” And she said, “An old man is coming up, and he is wrapped in a robe.” And Saul knew that it was Samuel, and he bowed with his face to the ground and paid homage.

Sámuel pedig ezt mondta Saulnak: Miért háborgattál, hogy felidéztél engem? Saul így felelt: Igen nagy szorultságban vagyok. A filiszteusok harcolnak ellenem, Isten pedig eltávozott tőlem, és nem felel már nekem sem próféták által, sem álomlátás által. Azért hívtalak, hogy mondd meg nekem, mit kell cselekednem.

Sámuel pedig monda Saulnak: Miért háborgattál, hogy felidéztettél engemet? És felele Saul: Igen nagy szorultságban vagyok; a Filiszteusok hadakoznak ellenem, az Isten pedig eltávozék tőlem, és nem felel már nékem sem próféták által, sem álomlátás által; azért hívtalak téged, hogy megmondjad nékem, mit kelljen cselekednem?

And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.

Samuel a zis lui Saul: „Pentru ce m-ai tulburat, chemându-mă?” Saul a răspuns: „Sunt într-o mare strâmtorare: filistenii îmi fac război, şi Dumnezeu S-a depărtat de la mine; nu mi-a răspuns nici prin proroci, nici prin vise. Şi te-am chemat să-mi arăţi ce să fac.”

Then Samuel said to Saul, “Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?” Saul answered, “I am in great distress, for the Philistines are warring against me, and God has turned away from me and answers me no more, either by prophets or by dreams. Therefore I have summoned you to tell me what I shall do.”

Sámuel azt mondta: Ugyan miért kérdezel engem, ha az ÚR eltávozott tőled, és ellenségeddé lett?

És monda Sámuel: Ugyan miért kérdezel engemet, ha az Úr eltávozott tőled és ellenségeddé lőn?!

Then said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the LORD is departed from thee, and is become thine enemy?

Samuel a zis: „Pentru ce mă întrebi pe mine când Domnul S-a depărtat de tine şi S-a făcut vrăjmaşul tău?

And Samuel said, “Why then do you ask me, since the LORD has turned from you and become your enemy?

Úgy cselekedett az ÚR, ahogy általam megmondta: elvette a királyságot a te kezedből, és a társadnak, Dávidnak adta.

És a szerint cselekedett az Úr, a mint általam megmondotta vala: elvette az Úr a királyságot a te kezedből, és adta azt a te társadnak, Dávidnak.

And the LORD hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the LORD hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy neighbour, even to David:

Domnul îţi face aşa cum îţi vestisem din partea Lui; Domnul a rupt împărăţia din mâinile tale şi a dat-o altuia, lui David.

The LORD has done to you as he spoke by me, for the LORD has torn the kingdom out of your hand and given it to your neighbor, David.

Azért cselekszik most így veled az ÚR, mert nem hallgattál a szavára, és nem hajtottad végre az ő fölgerjedt haragját Amálékon.

Mivel nem hallgattál az Úrnak szavára, és nem hajtottad végre az ő felgerjedt haragját az Amálekitákon: azért cselekszik most így veled az Úr.

Because thou obeyedst not the voice of the LORD, nor executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath the LORD done this thing unto thee this day.

N-ai ascultat de glasul Domnului şi n-ai făcut pe Amalec să simtă aprinderea mâniei Lui: de aceea îţi face Domnul aşa astăzi.

Because you did not obey the voice of the LORD and did not carry out his fierce wrath against Amalek, therefore the LORD has done this thing to you this day.

És az ÚR Izráelt is veled együtt a filiszteusok kezébe adja, te pedig holnap fiaiddal együtt velem leszel. Izráel táborát is a filiszteusok kezébe adja az ÚR.

És az Úr Izráelt is veled együtt a Filiszteusok kezébe adja, te pedig holnap fiaiddal együtt velem leszesz. Izráelnek táborát is a Filiszteusok kezébe adja az Úr.

Moreover the LORD will also deliver Israel with thee into the hand of the Philistines: and to morrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me: the LORD also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand of the Philistines.

Şi chiar Domnul va da pe Israel împreună cu tine în mâinile filistenilor. Mâine, tu şi fiii tăi veţi fi împreună cu mine, şi Domnul va da tabăra lui Israel în mâinile filistenilor.”

Moreover, the LORD will give Israel also with you into the hand of the Philistines, and tomorrow you and your sons shall be with me. The LORD will give the army of Israel also into the hand of the Philistines.”

Akkor Saul hirtelen egész hosszában a földre zuhant, mert nagyon megrémült Sámuel szavaitól. Semmi erő sem volt benne, mert egész nap és egész éjjel semmit sem evett.

Akkor Saul a maga egész nagyságában hirtelen a földre esék, mert nagyon megrémüle Sámuel szavaitól; és semmi erő nem vala benne, mert egész nap és egész éjjel semmit sem evék.

Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore afraid, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night.

Îndată Saul a căzut la pământ cât era de lung, şi cuvintele lui Samuel l-au umplut de groază; nu mai avea nicio putere, căci nu mâncase toată ziua şi toată noaptea.

Then Saul fell at once full length on the ground, filled with fear because of the words of Samuel. And there was no strength in him, for he had eaten nothing all day and all night.

Akkor az asszony Saulhoz ment, és mikor látta, hogy ennyire megrémült, azt mondta neki: Íme, a te szolgálód hallgatott a szavadra, kockára tettem életemet, és megfogadtam szavaidat, amelyeket mondtál nekem.

Akkor az asszony Saulhoz ment, és mikor látta, hogy annyira megrémült, monda néki: Ímé a te szolgálóleányod hallgatott szavadra, és koczkára tettem életemet, és megfogadtam szavaidat, a melyeket mondottál nékem:

And the woman came unto Saul, and saw that he was sore troubled, and said unto him, Behold, thine handmaid hath obeyed thy voice, and I have put my life in my hand, and have hearkened unto thy words which thou spakest unto me.

Femeia a venit la Saul şi, văzându-l foarte înspăimântat, i-a zis: „Iată că roaba ta ţi-a ascultat glasul; mi-am pus viaţa în primejdie, ascultând de cuvintele pe care mi le-ai spus.

And the woman came to Saul, and when she saw that he was terrified, she said to him, “Behold, your servant has obeyed you. I have taken my life in my hand and have listened to what you have said to me.

Most hát te is hallgass szolgálód szavára, hadd tegyek eléd egy falat kenyeret: egyél, hogy legyen erőd, amikor útra kelsz.

Most azért hallgass te is szolgálóleányod szavára, hadd tegyek egy falat kenyeret elődbe, és egyél, hogy erőd legyen, mikor útra kelsz.

Now therefore, I pray thee, hearken thou also unto the voice of thine handmaid, and let me set a morsel of bread before thee; and eat, that thou mayest have strength, when thou goest on thy way.

Ascultă acum, şi tu, glasul roabei tale şi lasă-mă să-ţi dau o bucată de pâine, ca să mănânci şi să prinzi putere ca să porneşti la drum.”

Now therefore, you also obey your servant. Let me set a morsel of bread before you; and eat, that you may have strength when you go on your way.”

Ő azonban vonakodott, és azt mondta: Nem eszem. De szolgái és az asszony is unszolták, mire engedett a szavuknak, fölkelt a földről, és felült az ágyra.

Ő azonban vonakodék, és mondá: Nem eszem; de szolgái és az asszony is kényszeríték őt, és ő engedett szavoknak, felkelt a földről, és felüle az ágyra.

But he refused, and said, I will not eat. But his servants, together with the woman, compelled him; and he hearkened unto their voice. So he arose from the earth, and sat upon the bed.

Dar el n-a vrut, şi a zis: „Nu mănânc nimic!” Slujitorii lui şi femeia au stăruit de el până i-a ascultat. S-a sculat de la pământ şi a şezut pe pat.

He refused and said, “I will not eat.” But his servants, together with the woman, urged him, and he listened to their words. So he arose from the earth and sat on the bed.

Volt az asszony házánál egy hízott borjú, és azt sietve levágta. Azután lisztet vett, meggyúrta, és kovásztalan pogácsát sütött.

Vala pedig az asszony házánál egy hízott borjú, és sietve levágta azt; [azután] lisztet vett, és meggyúrta, és sütött kovásztalan pogácsát.

And the woman had a fat calf in the house; and she hasted, and killed it, and took flour, and kneaded it, and did bake unleavened bread thereof:

Femeia avea la ea un viţel gras, pe care l-a tăiat în grabă; a luat făină, a frământat-o şi a copt azime.

Now the woman had a fattened calf in the house, and she quickly killed it, and she took flour and kneaded it and baked unleavened bread of it,

Ezt Saul és a szolgái elé vitte, és azok ettek. Azután fölkeltek, és elmentek azon az éjszakán.

És vivé Saul elé és az ő szolgái elé, és evének; azután felkeltek és elmenének azon az éjszakán.

And she brought it before Saul, and before his servants; and they did eat. Then they rose up, and went away that night.

Le-a pus înaintea lui Saul şi înaintea slujitorilor lui, şi au mâncat. Apoi s-au sculat şi au plecat chiar în noaptea aceea.

and she put it before Saul and his servants, and they ate. Then they rose and went away that night.
