Majd azt mondta az ÚR Sámuelnek: Ugyan meddig bánkódsz még Saul miatt, holott én elvetettem őt, hogy ne uralkodjék Izráel fölött? Töltsd meg a szarudat olajjal, és indulj el. Elküldelek a betlehemi Isaihoz, mert az ő fiai közül választottam magamnak királyt.

És monda az Úr Sámuelnek: Ugyan meddig bánkódol még Saul miatt, holott én megvetettem őt, hogy ne uralkodjék Izráel felett? Töltsd meg a te szarudat olajjal, és eredj el; én elküldelek téged a Bethlehemben [lakó] Isaihoz, mert fiai közül választottam magamnak királyt.

And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.

Domnul a zis lui Samuel: „Când vei înceta să plângi pe Saul, pentru că l-am lepădat, ca să nu mai domnească peste Israel? Umple-ţi cornul cu untdelemn şi du-te; te voi trimite la Isai, betleemitul, căci pe unul din fiii lui Mi l-am ales ca împărat.”

The LORD said to Samuel, “How long will you grieve over Saul, since I have rejected him from being king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go. I will send you to Jesse the Bethlehemite, for I have provided for myself a king among his sons.”

Sámuel pedig azt mondta: Hogyan mehetnék oda? Ha meghallja Saul, megöl engem. De az ÚR ezt mondta: Vigyél magaddal egy üszőt, és mondd azt: Azért jöttem, hogy áldozatot mutassak be az ÚRnak.

Sámuel pedig monda: Hogyan menjek el!? Ha meghallja Saul, megöl engemet. És monda az Úr: Vígy magaddal egy üszőt, és azt mondjad: Azért jöttem, hogy az Úrnak áldozzam.

And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me. And the LORD said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the LORD.

Samuel a zis: „Cum să mă duc? Saul are să afle şi mă va ucide.” Şi Domnul a zis: „Să iei cu tine un viţel şi să zici: „Vin să aduc o jertfă Domnului.”

And Samuel said, “How can I go? If Saul hears it, he will kill me.” And the LORD said, “Take a heifer with you and say, ‘I have come to sacrifice to the LORD.’

Hívd meg Isait az áldozatra, és én tudtodra adom, hogy mit cselekedj: azt kend föl nekem, akit mondani fogok neked.

És hívd meg Isait az áldozatra, és én tudtodra adom, hogy mit cselekedjél, és kend fel számomra azt, a kit mondándok néked.

And call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will shew thee what thou shalt do: and thou shalt anoint unto me him whom I name unto thee.

Să pofteşti pe Isai la jertfă; Eu îţi voi arăta ce trebuie să faci, şi Îmi vei unge pe acela pe care-ţi voi spune să-l ungi.”

And invite Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will show you what you shall do. And you shall anoint for me him whom I declare to you.”

Sámuel megtette, amit az ÚR mondott, és elment Betlehembe. A város vénei pedig megijedtek, elébe mentek, és azt kérdezték: Békességes-e a jöveteled?

És Sámuel megcselekedé, a mit az Úr mondott néki, és elment Bethlehembe. A város vénei pedig megijedének, [és] eleibe [menvén,] mondának: Békességes-é a te jöveteled?

And Samuel did that which the LORD spake, and came to Bethlehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, Comest thou peaceably?

Samuel a făcut ce zisese Domnul, şi s-a dus la Betleem. Bătrânii cetăţii au alergat înspăimântaţi înaintea lui şi au zis: „Ce vesteşte venirea ta: ceva bun?”

Samuel did what the LORD commanded and came to Bethlehem. The elders of the city came to meet him trembling and said, “Do you come peaceably?”

Ő pedig így felelt: Békességes. Azért jöttem, hogy áldozatot mutassak be az ÚRnak. Szenteljétek meg hát magatokat, és gyertek el velem az áldozatra. Aztán megszentelte Isait és fiait, és elhívta őket az áldozatra.

Ő pedig felele: Békességes; azért jöttem, hogy áldozzam az Úrnak. Szenteljétek meg azért magatokat, és jertek el velem az áldozatra. Isait és az ő fiait pedig megszentelé, és elhívá őket az áldozatra.

And he said, Peaceably: I am come to sacrifice unto the LORD: sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice.

El a răspuns: „Da; vin să aduc o jertfă Domnului. Sfinţiţi-vă şi veniţi cu mine la jertfă.” A sfinţit şi pe Isai cu fiii lui şi i-a poftit la jertfă.

And he said, “Peaceably; I have come to sacrifice to the LORD. Consecrate yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice.” And he consecrated Jesse and his sons and invited them to the sacrifice.

Mikor pedig odamentek, és meglátta Eliábot, azt gondolta: Bizonyára ő az ÚR fölkentje!

Mikor pedig bemenének, meglátta Eliábot, és gondolá: Bizony az Úr előtt van az ő felkentje!

And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD's anointed is before him.

Când au intrat ei, Samuel, văzând pe Eliab, şi-a zis: „Negreşit, unsul Domnului este aici înaintea Lui.”

When they came, he looked on Eliab and thought, “Surely the LORD’s anointed is before him.”

Az ÚR azonban azt mondta Sámuelnek: Ne nézd külsejét, se termetes növését, mert én megvetettem őt. Mert az ÚR nem azt nézi, amit az ember. Mert az ember azt nézi, ami a szeme előtt van, de az ÚR azt nézi, ami a szívben van.

Az Úr azonban monda Sámuelnek: Ne nézd az ő külsőjét, se termetének nagyságát, mert megvetettem őt. Mert az [Úr] nem azt nézi, a mit az ember; mert az ember azt nézi, a mi szeme előtt van, de az Úr azt nézi, mi a szívben van.

But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

Şi Domnul a zis lui Samuel: „Nu te uita la înfăţişarea şi înălţimea staturii lui, căci l-am lepădat. Domnul nu Se uită la ce se uită omul; omul se uită la ceea ce izbeşte ochii, dar Domnul Se uită la inimă.”

But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.”

Erre Abinádábot szólította Isai, és odavezette Sámuel elé. Ő azonban azt mondta: Ő sem az, akit az ÚR választott.

Szólítá azért Isai Abinádábot, és elvezeté őt Sámuel előtt; ő pedig monda: Ez sem az, kit az Úr választa.

Then Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, Neither hath the LORD chosen this.

Isai a chemat pe Abinadab şi l-a trecut pe dinaintea lui Samuel; şi Samuel a zis: „Nici pe acesta nu l-a ales Domnul.”

Then Jesse called Abinadab and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, “Neither has the LORD chosen this one.”

Azután Sammát vezette oda Isai. De ő azt mondta: Ez sem az, akit az ÚR választott.

Elvezeté azután előtte Isai Sammát; ő pedig monda: Ez sem az, a kit az Úr választa.

Then Jesse made Shammah to pass by. And he said, Neither hath the LORD chosen this.

Isai a trecut pe Şama; şi Samuel a zis: „Nici pe acesta nu l-a ales Domnul.”

Then Jesse made Shammah pass by. And he said, “Neither has the LORD chosen this one.”

És így odavezette Isai Sámuel elé mind a hét fiát. Sámuel pedig azt mondta Isainak: Nem közülük választott az ÚR.

És így elvezeté Isai Sámuel előtt [mind] a hét fiát; Sámuel pedig mondá Isainak: Nem ezek közül választott az Úr.

Again, Jesse made seven of his sons to pass before Samuel. And Samuel said unto Jesse, The LORD hath not chosen these.

Şi aşa a trecut Isai pe cei şapte fii ai lui pe dinaintea lui Samuel; şi Samuel a zis lui Isai: „Domnul n-a ales pe niciunul din ei.”

And Jesse made seven of his sons pass before Samuel. And Samuel said to Jesse, “The LORD has not chosen these.”

Akkor azt mondta Sámuel Isainak: Minden fiad itt van? Ő pedig így felelt: Hátravan még a legkisebb, de ő a juhokat őrzi. Sámuel azt mondta neki: Küldj el érte, és hozasd ide őt, mert addig nem ülünk le, amíg ide nem jön.

Akkor monda Sámuel Isainak: Mind itt vannak-é már az ifjak? Ő pedig felele: Hátra van még a kisebbik, és ímé ő a juhokat őrzi. És monda Sámuel Isainak: Küldj el, és hozasd ide őt, mert addig nem fogunk leülni, míg ő ide nem jön.

And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither.

Apoi Samuel a zis lui Isai: „Aceştia sunt toţi fiii tăi?” Şi el a răspuns: „A mai rămas cel mai tânăr, dar paşte oile.” Atunci Samuel a zis lui Isai: „Trimite să-l aducă, fiindcă nu vom şedea la masă până nu va veni aici.”

Then Samuel said to Jesse, “Are all your sons here?” And he said, “There remains yet the youngest, but behold, he is keeping the sheep.” And Samuel said to Jesse, “Send and get him, for we will not sit down till he comes here.”

Elküldött tehát érte, és elhozatta. Ő pedig pirospozsgás volt, szép szemű és kedves tekintetű. Akkor azt mondta az ÚR: Kelj föl, és kend föl, mert ő az!

Elkülde azért, és elhozatá őt. (Ő pedig piros vala, szép szemű és kedves tekintetű.) És monda az Úr: Kelj fel és kend fel, mert ő az.

And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.

Isai a trimis să-l aducă. Şi el era cu păr bălai, cu ochi frumoşi şi faţă frumoasă. Domnul a zis lui Samuel: „Scoală-te şi unge-l, căci el este!”

And he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy and had beautiful eyes and was handsome. And the LORD said, “Arise, anoint him, for this is he.”

Vette tehát Sámuel az olajosszarut, és fölkente őt testvérei körében. És attól a naptól fogva az ÚR lelke hatalmasan Dávidra szállt. Azután fölkelt Sámuel, és elment Rámába.

Vevé azért Sámuel, az olajos szarut, és felkené őt testvérei között. És attól a naptól fogva az Úrnak lelke Dávidra szálla, és azután is. Felkele azután Sámuel és elméne Rámába.

Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.

Samuel a luat cornul cu untdelemn şi l-a uns în mijlocul fraţilor lui. Duhul Domnului a venit peste David, începând din ziua aceea şi în cele următoare. Samuel s-a sculat şi s-a dus la Rama.

Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers. And the Spirit of the LORD rushed upon David from that day forward. And Samuel rose up and went to Ramah.

És az ÚR lelke eltávozott Saultól, és a gonosz lélek kezdte gyötörni őt, amelyet az ÚR küldött.

But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.

Duhul Domnului S-a depărtat de la Saul; şi a fost muncit de un duh rău care venea de la Domnul.

Now the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and a harmful spirit from the LORD tormented him.

Saul szolgái ezt mondták neki: Íme, most az Istentől küldött gonosz lélek gyötör.

És mondának Saul szolgái néki: Ímé most az Istentől [küldött] gonosz lélek gyötör téged!

And Saul's servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee.

Slujitorii lui Saul i-au zis: „Iată că un duh rău de la Dumnezeu te munceşte.

And Saul’s servants said to him, “Behold now, a harmful spirit from God is tormenting you.

Parancsoljon azért a mi urunk szolgáidnak, akik körülötted vannak, hogy keressenek egy olyan embert, aki jól tudja pengetni a hárfát, és amikor az Istentől küldött gonosz lélek reád jön, hárfázzon, hogy megkönnyebbülj.

Parancsoljon azért a mi urunk szolgáidnak, kik körülötted vannak, hogy keressenek [olyan] embert, a ki tudja a hárfát pengetni, és mikor az Istentől [küldött] gonosz lélek reád jön, pengesse kezével, hogy te megkönnyebbülj.

Let our lord now command thy servants, which are before thee, to seek out a man, who is a cunning player on an harp: and it shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and thou shalt be well.

Poruncească numai domnul nostru! Robii tăi sunt înaintea ta. Ei vor căuta un om care să ştie să cânte cu harpa; şi, când duhul rău trimis de Dumnezeu va fi peste tine, el va cânta cu mâna, şi vei fi uşurat.”

Let our lord now command your servants who are before you to seek out a man who is skillful in playing the lyre, and when the harmful spirit from God is upon you, he will play it, and you will be well.”

Erre Saul azt mondta szolgáinak: Keressetek hát nekem egy olyan embert, aki jól tud hárfázni, és hozzátok el hozzám.

És monda Saul az ő szolgáinak: Keressetek tehát számomra [olyan ]embert, a ki jól tud hárfázni, és hozzátok el hozzám.

And Saul said unto his servants, Provide me now a man that can play well, and bring him to me.

Saul a răspuns slujitorilor săi: „Găsiţi-mi, dar, un om care să cânte bine şi aduceţi-l la mine.”

So Saul said to his servants, “Provide for me a man who can play well and bring him to me.”

Akkor az egyik szolga így válaszolt: Íme, én láttam a betlehemi Isai egyik fiát, aki tud hárfázni, aki erős vitéz és jó harcos, értelmes és szép ember, és az ÚR vele van.

Akkor felele egy a szolgák közül, és monda: Ímé én láttam a Bethlehemben [lakó] Isainak [egyik] fiát, a ki tud hárfázni, a ki erős vitéz és hadakozó férfiú, értelmes és szép ember, és az Úr vele van.

Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD is with him.

Unul din slujitori a luat cuvântul şi a zis: „Iată, am văzut pe un fiu al lui Isai, betleemitul, care ştie să cânte; el este şi un om tare şi voinic, un războinic, vorbeşte bine, este frumos la chip, şi Domnul este cu el.”

One of the young men answered, “Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, who is skillful in playing, a man of valor, a man of war, prudent in speech, and a man of good presence, and the LORD is with him.”

Ezért Saul követeket küldött Isaihoz, és ezt üzente: Küldd hozzám fiadat, Dávidot, aki a juhok mellett van.

Követeket külde azért Saul Isaihoz, és monda: Küldd hozzám a fiadat, Dávidot, ki a juhok mellett van.

Wherefore Saul sent messengers unto Jesse, and said, Send me David thy son, which is with the sheep.

Saul a trimis nişte oameni la Isai să-i spună: „Trimite-mi pe fiul tău David, care este cu oile.”

Therefore Saul sent messengers to Jesse and said, “Send me David your son, who is with the sheep.”

Isai pedig vett egy szamarat, egy kenyeret, egy tömlő bort és egy kecskegödölyét, és elküldte Saulnak fia, Dávid által.

Isai pedig vőn egy szamarat, egy kenyeret, egy tömlő bort és egy kecskegödölyét, és elküldé Saulnak az ő fiától, Dávidtól.

And Jesse took an ass laden with bread, and a bottle of wine, and a kid, and sent them by David his son unto Saul.

Isai a luat un măgar, l-a încărcat cu pâine, cu un burduf cu vin şi cu un ied, şi a trimis lui Saul aceste lucruri, prin fiul său David.

And Jesse took a donkey laden with bread and a skin of wine and a young goat and sent them by David his son to Saul.

Mikor pedig Dávid elment Saulhoz, és megállt előtte, az nagyon megszerette, és fegyverhordozója lett neki.

Mikor pedig Dávid elméne Saulhoz és megálla előtte, az igen megszerette őt, és fegyverhordozója lőn néki.

And David came to Saul, and stood before him: and he loved him greatly; and he became his armourbearer.

David a ajuns la Saul şi s-a înfăţişat înaintea lui; i-a plăcut mult lui Saul, şi a fost pus să-i poarte armele.

And David came to Saul and entered his service. And Saul loved him greatly, and he became his armor-bearer.

És elküldött Saul Isaihoz ezzel az üzenettel: Hadd maradjon Dávid nálam, mert igen megkedveltem.

És elkülde Saul Isaihoz, mondván: Maradjon Dávid én nálam, mert igen megkedveltem őt.

And Saul sent to Jesse, saying, Let David, I pray thee, stand before me; for he hath found favour in my sight.

Saul a trimis vorbă lui Isai, zicând: „Te rog să laşi pe David în slujba mea, căci a căpătat trecere înaintea mea.”

And Saul sent to Jesse, saying, “Let David remain in my service, for he has found favor in my sight.”

És amikor az Istentől küldött lélek Saulon volt, vette Dávid a hárfát és pengetni kezdte. Saul pedig megkönnyebbült, jobban lett, és a gonosz lélek eltávozott tőle.

És lőn, hogy a mikor Istennek lelke Saulon vala, vette Dávid a hárfát és kezével pengeté; Saul pedig megkönnyebbüle és jobban lőn, és a gonosz lélek eltávozék tőle.

And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.

Şi când duhul trimis de Dumnezeu venea peste Saul, David lua harpa şi cânta cu mâna lui; Saul răsufla atunci mai uşor, se simţea uşurat, şi duhul cel rău pleca de la el.

And whenever the harmful spirit from God was upon Saul, David took the lyre and played it with his hand. So Saul was refreshed and was well, and the harmful spirit departed from him.
