Volt egy Rámátaim-Cófimból, az Efraim hegyvidékéről való ember, név szerint Elkána; efrátai volt, Jeróhámnak a fia, aki Elihú fia, aki Tóhú fia, aki Cúf fia.

Volt egy ember, Ramataim-Czofimból, az Efraim hegységéről való, és az ő neve Elkána vala, Jerohámnak fia, ki Elihu fia, ki Tohu fia, ki Sof fia volt; Efraimita vala.

Now there was a certain man of Ramathaimzophim, of mount Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite:

Era un om din Ramataim-Ţofim, din muntele lui Efraim, numit Elcana, fiul lui Ieroham, fiul lui Elihu, fiul lui Tohu, fiul lui Ţuf, efratit.

There was a certain man of Ramathaim-zophim of the hill country of Ephraim whose name was Elkanah the son of Jeroham, son of Elihu, son of Tohu, son of Zuph, an Ephrathite.

Két felesége volt: az egyiket Annának, a másikat pedig Peninnának hívták. Peninnának voltak gyermekei, de Annának nem.

És két felesége volt néki; az egyiket Annának, a másikat pedig Peninnának hívták. Peninnának gyermekei valának, de Annának nem valának gyermekei.

And he had two wives; the name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other Peninnah: and Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.

El avea două neveste: una se numea Ana, iar cealaltă Penina. Penina avea copii, dar Ana n-avea.

He had two wives. The name of the one was Hannah, and the name of the other, Peninnah. And Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children.

Ez az ember esztendőnként fölment a városából, hogy imádkozzék, és áldozatot mutasson be a Seregek URának Silóban. Ott pedig Éli két fia, Hofni és Fineás volt az ÚR papja.

És ez az ember felmegy vala esztendőnként az ő városából, hogy imádkozzék és áldozatot tegyen a Seregek Urának Silóban. Ott pedig Éli két fia, Hofni és Fineás valának az Úrnak papjai.

And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there.

Omul acesta se suia în fiecare an din cetatea sa la Silo, ca să se închine înaintea Domnului oştirilor şi să-I aducă jertfe. Acolo se aflau cei doi fii ai lui Eli, Hofni şi Fineas, preoţi ai Domnului.

Now this man used to go up year by year from his city to worship and to sacrifice to the LORD of hosts at Shiloh, where the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were priests of the LORD.

Valahányszor Elkána áldozott, Peninnának, a feleségének és minden fiának és leányának áldozati részt adott.

És azon a napon, melyen Elkána áldozni szokott, Peninnának, az ő feleségének, és minden fiának és leányának [áldozati] részt ád vala;

And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions:

În ziua când îşi aducea Elcana jertfa, dădea părţi nevestei sale Penina, tuturor fiilor şi tuturor fiicelor pe care le avea de la ea.

On the day when Elkanah sacrificed, he would give portions to Peninnah his wife and to all her sons and daughters.

Annának pedig kétakkora részt adott, mivel Annát igen szerette. De az ÚR bezárta az ő méhét.

Annának pedig kétakkora részt ád vala, mivel Annát [igen] szerette; de az Úr bezárá az ő méhét.

But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb.

Dar Anei îi dădea o parte îndoită; căci iubea pe Ana. Dar Domnul o făcuse stearpă.

But to Hannah he gave a double portion, because he loved her, though the LORD had closed her womb.

Vetélytársa ezért igen bosszantotta Annát, hogy fölingerelje, mivel az ÚR bezárta méhét.

Igen bosszantja vala pedig [Annát] vetélkedő társa, hogy felingerelje, mivel az Úr bezárá az ő méhét.

And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.

Potrivnica ei o înţepa deseori, ca s-o facă să se mânie, pentru că Domnul o făcuse stearpă.

And her rival used to provoke her grievously to irritate her, because the LORD had closed her womb.

Így történt ez esztendőről esztendőre. Valahányszor fölment az ÚR házába, ezzel bosszantotta. Ő pedig sírt, és semmit sem evett.

És így történt ez esztendőről esztendőre; valahányszor felment az Úrnak házába, ekképen bosszantá őt, ő pedig sír vala és semmit sem evék.

And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat.

Şi în toţi anii era aşa. Ori de câte ori se suia Ana la Casa Domnului, Penina o înţepa la fel. Atunci ea plângea şi nu mânca.

So it went on year by year. As often as she went up to the house of the LORD, she used to provoke her. Therefore Hannah wept and would not eat.

Ekkor azt mondta a férje, Elkána: Anna, miért sírsz, és miért nem eszel? Mi felett bánkódsz a szívedben? Hát nem többet érek-e én neked tíz fiúnál?

És monda néki Elkána, az ő férje: Anna, miért sírsz, és miért nem eszel? Mi felett bánkódol szívedben? Avagy nem többet érek-é én néked tíz fiúnál?

Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?

Elcana, bărbatul ei, îi zicea: „Ano, pentru ce plângi şi nu mănânci? Pentru ce ţi-este întristată inima? Oare nu preţuiesc eu pentru tine mai mult decât zece fii?”

And Elkanah, her husband, said to her, “Hannah, why do you weep? And why do you not eat? And why is your heart sad? Am I not more to you than ten sons?”

Miután ettek és ittak Silóban, Anna fölkelt, Éli pap pedig az ÚR templomában az ajtófélfánál ült a székében.

És felkele Anna, minekutána evének Silóban és minekutána ivának, (Éli pap pedig az Úrnak templomában az ajtófélnél ül vala székében),

So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD.

Ana s-a sculat, după ce au mâncat şi au băut ei la Silo. Preotul Eli şedea pe un scaun, lângă unul din uşorii Templului Domnului.

After they had eaten and drunk in Shiloh, Hannah rose. Now Eli the priest was sitting on the seat beside the doorpost of the temple of the LORD.

Az asszony lelkében elkeseredve könyörgött az ÚRnak, és igen sírt.

És lelkében elkeseredve, könyörge az Úrnak, és igen sír vala.

And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.

Şi Ana se ruga Domnului cu sufletul amărât şi plângea.

She was deeply distressed and prayed to the LORD and wept bitterly.

És fogadást tett, és ezt mondta: Seregek URa! Ha megtekinted szolgálóleányod nyomorúságát, és megemlékezel rólam, és nem feledkezel el szolgálóleányodról, hanem fiúmagzatot adsz szolgálóleányodnak, én őt egész életére az ÚRnak ajánlom, és soha nem érinti borotva a fejét.

És fogadást tőn, mondván: Seregeknek Ura! ha megtekinted a te szolgáló leányodnak nyomorúságát, és megemlékezel rólam, és nem feledkezel el szolgáló leányodról, hanem fiúmagzatot adsz szolgáló leányodnak: én őt egész életére az Úrnak ajánlom, és borotva nem érinti az ő fejét soha!

And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.

Ea a făcut o juruinţă şi a zis: „Doamne Dumnezeul oştirilor! Dacă vei binevoi să cauţi spre întristarea roabei Tale, dacă-Ţi vei aduce aminte de mine şi nu vei uita pe roaba Ta şi dacă vei da roabei Tale un copil de parte bărbătească, îl voi închina Domnului pentru toate zilele vieţii lui, şi brici nu va trece peste capul lui.”

And she vowed a vow and said, “O LORD of hosts, if you will indeed look on the affliction of your servant and remember me and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a son, then I will give him to the LORD all the days of his life, and no razor shall touch his head.”

Mivel pedig hosszasan imádkozott az ÚR előtt, Éli figyelte a száját.

Mivelhogy pedig hosszasan imádkozék az Úr előtt: Éli figyel vala az ő szájára;

And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth.

Fiindcă ea stătea multă vreme în rugăciune înaintea Domnului, Eli se uita cu băgare de seamă la gura ei.

As she continued praying before the LORD, Eli observed her mouth.

És mivel Anna szívében könyörgött, csak ajka mozgott, szava pedig nem volt hallható, Éli azt gondolta, hogy részeg.

És mivel Anna szívében könyörge (csak ajka mozgott, szava pedig nem volt hallható): Éli gondolá, hogy részeg.

Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.

Ana vorbea în inima ei şi numai buzele şi le mişca, dar nu i se auzea glasul. Eli credea că este beată

Hannah was speaking in her heart; only her lips moved, and her voice was not heard. Therefore Eli took her to be a drunken woman.

Ezért azt mondta neki Éli: Meddig tart még a részegséged? Távolítsd el magadtól az italt.

Monda azért néki Éli: Meddig leszel részeg? Távolítsd el mámorodat magadtól.

And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee.

şi i-a zis: „Până când vei fi beată? Du-te de te trezeşte!”

And Eli said to her, “How long will you go on being drunk? Put your wine away from you.”

Anna pedig így felelt: Nem, uram! Bánatos lelkű asszony vagyok én. Sem bort, sem részegítő italt nem ittam, csak szívemet öntöttem ki az ÚR előtt.

Anna pedig felele, és monda néki: Nem, Uram! bánatos lelkű asszony vagyok én; sem bort, sem részegítő italt nem ittam, csak szívemet öntöttem ki az Úr előtt.

And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD.

Ana a răspuns: „Nu, domnul meu, eu sunt o femeie care suferă în inima ei, şi n-am băut nici vin, nici băutură ameţitoare; ci îmi vărsam sufletul înaintea Domnului.

But Hannah answered, “No, my lord, I am a woman troubled in spirit. I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but I have been pouring out my soul before the LORD.

Ne tartsd a te szolgálóleányodat rossz asszonynak, mert az én bánatomnak és szomorúságomnak teljességéből szóltam mind ez idáig.

Ne tartsd a te szolgáló leányodat rossz asszonynak, mert az én bánatomnak és szomorúságomnak teljességéből szólottam eddig.

Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto.

Să nu iei pe roaba ta drept o femeie stricată, căci numai prea multa mea durere şi supărare m-a făcut să vorbesc până acum.”

Do not regard your servant as a worthless woman, for all along I have been speaking out of my great anxiety and vexation.”

Éli így felelt neki: Eredj el békességgel, és Izráel Istene teljesítse kérésedet, amit tőle kértél.

És felele Éli, és monda: Eredj el békességgel, és Izráelnek Istene adja meg a te kérésedet, a melyet kértél tőle.

Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.

Eli a luat din nou cuvântul şi a zis: „Du-te în pace, şi Dumnezeul lui Israel să asculte rugăciunea pe care I-ai făcut-o!”

Then Eli answered, “Go in peace, and the God of Israel grant your petition that you have made to him.”

Ő pedig ezt mondta: Legyen kedves előtted a szolgálóleányod! És elment az asszony a maga útjára; evett, és arca többé nem volt szomorú.

Ő pedig monda: Legyen kedves előtted a te szolgáló leányod! És elméne az asszony az ő útjára és evék, és arcza nem vala többé [szomorú.]

And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.

Ea a zis: „Să capete roaba ta trecere înaintea ta!” Şi femeia a plecat. A mâncat, şi faţa ei n-a mai fost aceeaşi.

And she said, “Let your servant find favor in your eyes.” Then the woman went her way and ate, and her face was no longer sad.

Majd reggel fölkeltek, és miután imádkoztak az ÚR előtt, visszatértek, elmentek haza Rámába. És ismerte Elkána a feleségét, Annát, és az ÚR megemlékezett róla.

És reggel felkelének, és minekutána imádkozának az Úr előtt, visszatértek, és elmenének haza Rámába. És ismeré Elkána az ő feleségét, Annát, és az Úr megemlékezék róla.

And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her.

S-au sculat dis-de-dimineaţă şi, după ce s-au închinat până la pământ înaintea Domnului, s-au întors şi au venit acasă la Rama. Elcana s-a culcat cu nevasta sa Ana, şi Domnul Şi-a adus aminte de ea.

They rose early in the morning and worshiped before the LORD; then they went back to their house at Ramah. And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the LORD remembered her.

Az történt egy idő múlva, hogy várandós lett Anna, fiút szült, és Sámuelnek nevezte, mert azt mondta: Az ÚRtól kértem őt.

És történt idő multával, hogy terhes lőn Anna, és szüle fiat és nevezé őt Sámuelnek, mert [úgymond] az Úrtól kértem őt.

Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD.

Când i s-au împlinit zilele, Ana a rămas însărcinată şi a născut un fiu, căruia i-a pus numele Samuel „căci”, a zis ea, „de la Domnul l-am cerut.”

And in due time Hannah conceived and bore a son, and she called his name Samuel, for she said, “I have asked for him from the LORD.”

És mikor fölment az a férfi, Elkána és egész háza népe, hogy bemutassa az ÚRnak esztendőnként való áldozatát és fogadását,

És mikor felméne a férfi, Elkána és az ő egész háznépe, hogy bemutassa az Úrnak esztendőnként való áldozatát és fogadását:

And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow.

Bărbatul său, Elcana, s-a suit apoi cu toată casa lui să aducă Domnului jertfa de peste an şi să-şi împlinească juruinţa.

The man Elkanah and all his house went up to offer to the LORD the yearly sacrifice and to pay his vow.

Anna nem ment föl, hanem azt mondta férjének: Mihelyt a gyermeket elválasztom, fölviszem, hogy az ÚR előtt megjelenjen, és ott maradjon örökké.

Anna nem ment fel, hanem monda férjének: Mihelyt a gyermeket elválasztándom, felviszem őt, hogy az Úr előtt megjelenjen, és ott maradjon örökké.

But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband, I will not go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and there abide for ever.

Dar Ana nu s-a suit şi a zis bărbatului ei: „Când voi înţărca copilul îl voi duce, ca să fie pus înaintea Domnului şi să rămână acolo pentru totdeauna.”

But Hannah did not go up, for she said to her husband, “As soon as the child is weaned, I will bring him, so that he may appear in the presence of the LORD and dwell there forever.”

Férje, Elkána azt felelte neki: Tégy úgy, ahogy jónak látod, maradj itthon, míg elválasztod. Csak az ÚR teljesítse be a beszédét! Otthon maradt azért az asszony, és szoptatta gyermekét, amíg el nem választotta.

És monda néki Elkána, az ő férje: Cselekedjél úgy, a mint néked tetszik, maradj [itthon], míg elválasztod; csakhogy az Úr teljesítse be az ő beszédét! [Otthon] marada azért az asszony és szoptatta gyermekét, a míg elválasztá.

And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the LORD establish his word. So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him.

Elcana, bărbatul ei, i-a zis: „Fă ce vei crede, aşteaptă până-l vei înţărca. Numai împlinească-Şi Domnul cuvântul Lui!” Şi femeia a rămas acasă şi a dat ţâţă fiului ei, până l-a înţărcat.

Elkanah her husband said to her, “Do what seems best to you; wait until you have weaned him; only, may the LORD establish his word.” So the woman remained and nursed her son until she weaned him.

Miután elválasztotta, fölvitte magával egy hároméves bikával, egy efa liszttel és egy tömlő borral együtt, és bevitte az ÚR házába, Silóba. A gyermek pedig még igen kicsi volt.

És minekutána elválasztotta, felvivé magával; három tulokkal, egy efa liszttel és egy tömlő borral, és bevivé őt az Úrnak házába, Silóban. A gyermek pedig [még igen] kicsiny vala.

And when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bullocks, and one ephah of flour, and a bottle of wine, and brought him unto the house of the LORD in Shiloh: and the child was young.

Când l-a înţărcat, l-a suit cu ea, şi a luat trei tauri, o efă de făină şi un burduf cu vin. L-a dus în Casa Domnului la Silo: copilul era încă mic de tot.

And when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, along with a three-year-old bull, an ephah of flour, and a skin of wine, and she brought him to the house of the LORD at Shiloh. And the child was young.

És levágták a bikát, és a gyermeket Élihez vitték.

És levágták a tulkot, és a gyermeket Élihez vitték.

And they slew a bullock, and brought the child to Eli.

Au înjunghiat taurii şi au dus copilul la Eli.

Then they slaughtered the bull, and they brought the child to Eli.

Ő pedig ezt mondta: Ó, uram! Él a te lelked, uram, hogy én vagyok az az asszony, aki itt állt melletted, és egykor könyörgött az ÚRhoz.

Ő pedig monda: Óh Uram! Él a te lelked, Uram, hogy én vagyok az az asszony, a ki itt állott melletted, és könyörgött az Úrnak.

And she said, Oh my lord, as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto the LORD.

Ana a zis: „Domnul meu, iartă-mă! Cât este de adevărat că sufletul tău trăieşte, domnul meu, atât este de adevărat că eu sunt femeia aceea care stăteam aici lângă tine şi mă rugam Domnului.

And she said, “Oh, my lord! As you live, my lord, I am the woman who was standing here in your presence, praying to the LORD.

Ezért a fiúért könyörögtem, és az ÚR megadta kérésemet, amit tőle kértem.

Ezért a fiúért könyörögtem, és az Úr megadta kérésemet, a melyet tőle kértem.

For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:

Pentru copilul acesta mă rugam, şi Domnul a ascultat rugăciunea pe care I-o făceam.

For this child I prayed, and the LORD has granted me my petition that I made to him.

Most azért az ÚRnak szentelem őt. Legyen egész életére az ÚRnak szentelve! És imádkoztak ott az ÚRhoz.

Most azért én is az Úrnak szentelem; teljes életére az Úrnak legyen szentelve! És imádkozának ott az Úrhoz.

Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD. And he worshipped the LORD there.

De aceea vreau să-l dau Domnului: toată viaţa lui să fie dat Domnului.” Şi s-au închinat acolo înaintea Domnului.

Therefore I have lent him to the LORD. As long as he lives, he is lent to the LORD.” And he worshiped the LORD there.
