Boáz pedig odament a városkapuhoz, és ott leült. És íme, arra ment az a legközelebbi rokon, akiről Boáz beszélt, és ezt mondta neki: Gyere csak, ülj ide, atyámfia. És az odament és leült.

Boáz pedig felment a kapuba, és ott leült. És ímé arra ment az a legközelebbi rokon, a kiről Boáz beszélt vala, és monda néki: Jer csak, ülj ide atyafi. És az oda ment és leüle.

Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down.

Boaz s-a suit la poarta cetăţii şi s-a oprit acolo. Şi iată că cel ce avea drept de răscumpărare, şi despre care vorbise Boaz, trecea. Boaz i-a zis: „Hei, cutare, apropie-te, stai aici.” Şi el s-a apropiat şi s-a oprit.

Now Boaz had gone up to the gate and sat down there. And behold, the redeemer, of whom Boaz had spoken, came by. So Boaz said, “Turn aside, friend; sit down here.” And he turned aside and sat down.

Ekkor ő maga mellé vett tíz férfit a város vénei közül, és ezt mondta: Üljetek ide! Erre azok leültek.

And he took ten men of the elders of the city, and said, Sit ye down here. And they sat down.

Boaz a luat atunci zece oameni dintre bătrânii cetăţii şi a zis: „Şedeţi aici.” Şi ei au şezut jos.

And he took ten men of the elders of the city and said, “Sit down here.” So they sat down.

Ekkor Boáz így szólt a legközelebbi rokonhoz: Azt a darab szántóföldet, amely a mi atyánk fiáé, Elimeleké volt, eladja Naomi, aki hazajött Móáb mezejéről.

És ő monda a legközelebbi rokonnak: Azt a darab szántóföldet, mely a mi atyánkfiáé, Eliméleké volt, eladja Naómi, a ki haza jött a Moáb mezejéről.

And he said unto the kinsman, Naomi, that is come again out of the country of Moab, selleth a parcel of land, which was our brother Elimelech's:

Then he said to the redeemer, “Naomi, who has come back from the country of Moab, is selling the parcel of land that belonged to our relative Elimelech.

Én pedig gondoltam, hogy tudomásodra hozom, és megmondom: Vedd meg az itt ülők előtt és népem vénei előtt. Ha megváltod, váltsd meg. De ha nem váltod meg, jelentsd ki előttem, hogy tudjam. Mert rajtad kívül nincs, aki megválthatná, és utánad én következem. Ő így felelt: Megváltom.

Én pedig gondoltam, hogy füledbe juttatom, mondván: Vedd meg az itt ülők előtt és az én népemnek vénei előtt. Ha megváltod: váltsd meg; és ha nem váltod meg: jelentsd ki előttem, hogy tudjam; mert rajtad kívül nincs, a ki megváltaná, és én vagyok utánad. És az monda: Én megváltom.

And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, redeem it: but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know: for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it.

Am crezut de datoria mea să te înştiinţez despre aceasta şi să-ţi spun: „Cumpără-o, în faţa locuitorilor şi în faţa bătrânilor poporului meu. Dacă vrei s-o răscumperi, răscumpăr-o; dar dacă nu vrei, spune-mi, ca să ştiu. Căci nu este nimeni înaintea ta care să aibă dreptul de răscumpărare, şi după tine, eu am dreptul acesta.” Şi el a răspuns: „O voi răscumpăra.”

So I thought I would tell you of it and say, ‘Buy it in the presence of those sitting here and in the presence of the elders of my people.’ If you will redeem it, redeem it. But if you will not, tell me, that I may know, for there is no one besides you to redeem it, and I come after you.” And he said, “I will redeem it.”

Boáz erre azt mondta: Amely napon megveszed a szántóföldet Naomi kezéből, akkor a móábi Ruthot, a meghaltnak feleségét is el kell venned, hogy fenntartsd a megholtnak nevét az örökségében.

És monda Boáz: A mely napon megveszed a szántóföldet Naómi kezéből, akkor a Moábita Ruthtól, a megholtnak feleségétől veszed meg, hogy nevet támaszsz a megholtnak, az ő örökségében.

Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.

Boaz a zis: „În ziua în care vei cumpăra ţarina din mâna Naomei, o vei cumpăra în acelaşi timp şi de la Rut, moabita, nevasta celui mort, ca să ridici numele mortului în moştenirea lui.”

Then Boaz said, “The day you buy the field from the hand of Naomi, you also acquire Ruth the Moabite, the widow of the dead, in order to perpetuate the name of the dead in his inheritance.”

Erre a legközelebbi rokon ezt felelte: Nem válthatom meg magamnak, mert akkor a magam örökségét elveszítem. Váltsd meg te magadnak az én rokoni részemet, mert én nem válthatom ezt meg.

A legközelebbi rokon pedig monda: Nem válthatom meg magamnak, hogy el ne veszessem a magam örökségét; váltsd meg te magadnak az én rokoni részemet, mert én nem válthatom meg.

And the kinsman said, I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem it.

Şi cel ce avea drept de răscumpărare a răspuns: „Nu pot s-o răscumpăr pe socoteala mea, de frică să nu-mi stric moştenirea mea; ia tu dreptul de răscumpărare, căci eu nu pot s-o răscumpăr.” –

Then the redeemer said, “I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I impair my own inheritance. Take my right of redemption yourself, for I cannot redeem it.”

Régen az volt a szokás Izráelben a vagyonmegváltás vagy csere alkalmával, hogy a dolog megerősítésére a férfi lehúzta a saruját, és odaadta felebarátjának. Ez volt az átruházás módja Izráelben.

Ez vala pedig [a szokás] régen Izráelben, a megváltás és cserélés alkalmával, minden dolognak megerősítésére: A férfi lehúzta az ő saruját és oda adta felebarátjának, és ez volt a bizonyság Izráelben.

Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel.

Odinioară în Israel, pentru întărirea unei răscumpărări sau unui schimb, omul îşi scotea încălţămintea şi o dădea celuilalt: aceasta slujea ca mărturie în Israel. –

Now this was the custom in former times in Israel concerning redeeming and exchanging: to confirm a transaction, the one drew off his sandal and gave it to the other, and this was the manner of attesting in Israel.

Ezért a legközelebbi rokon azt mondta Boáznak: Vedd meg magadnak! És lehúzta a saruját.

Monda annakokáért a legközelebbi rokon Boáznak: Vedd meg magadnak! És lehúzta a saruját.

Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for thee. So he drew off his shoe.

Cel ce avea drept de răscumpărare a zis, dar, lui Boaz: „Cumpăr-o pe socoteala ta!” Şi şi-a scos încălţămintea.

So when the redeemer said to Boaz, “Buy it for yourself,” he drew off his sandal.

Boáz ekkor így szólt a vénekhez és az egész néphez: Ti vagytok ma a tanúim, hogy megvettem mindent Naomi kezéből, ami Elimeleké volt, és mindent, ami Kiljóné és Mahlóné volt.

És monda Boáz a véneknek és az egész népnek: Ti vagytok tanui ma, hogy megvettem mindent, a mi Eliméleké volt, és mindent, a mi Kiljoné és Mahloné volt, Naómi kezéből;

And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech's, and all that was Chilion's and Mahlon's, of the hand of Naomi.

Atunci Boaz a zis bătrânilor şi întregului popor: „Voi sunteţi martori azi că am cumpărat din mâna Naomei tot ce era al lui Elimelec, al lui Chilion şi al lui Mahlon,

Then Boaz said to the elders and all the people, “You are witnesses this day that I have bought from the hand of Naomi all that belonged to Elimelech and all that belonged to Chilion and to Mahlon.

Sőt a móábi Ruthot, Mahlón feleségét is feleségül vettem, hogy fenntartsam nevét a megholtnak az örökségében, és ne vesszen ki a megholtnak neve az ő rokonságából és az ő lakóhelyének kapujából. Tanúim vagytok ma.

[Sőt] a Moábita Ruthot is, Mahlonnak feleségét feleségül vettem, hogy nevet támaszszak a megholtnak az ő örökségében, és ki ne veszszen a megholtnak neve az ő atyjafiai közül és az ő helységének kapujából. Tanuk vagytok ma.

Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day.

şi că mi-am cumpărat de asemenea de nevastă pe Rut, moabita, nevasta lui Mahlon, ca să ridic numele mortului în moştenirea lui şi pentru ca numele mortului să nu fie şters dintre fraţii lui şi din poarta locului lui. Voi sunteţi martori azi despre aceasta!”

Also Ruth the Moabite, the widow of Mahlon, I have bought to be my wife, to perpetuate the name of the dead in his inheritance, that the name of the dead may not be cut off from among his brothers and from the gate of his native place. You are witnesses this day.”

Erre az egész nép, amely a kapunál volt, és a vének kijelentették: Tanúk vagyunk! Tegye az ÚR azt az asszonyt, aki a házadba megy, olyanná, mint Ráhel és Lea, akik ketten építették föl Izráel házát. Gyűjts vagyont Efrátában, és szerezz nevet Betlehemben.

És monda az egész nép, mely a kapuban vala és a vének: Tanuk vagyunk! Tegye az Úr az asszonyt, a ki a te házadba megy, olyanná, mint Rákhel és Lea, a kik ketten építették fel Izráel házát, és gyűjts vagyont Efratában és szerezz nevet Bethlehemben.

And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The LORD make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem:

Tot poporul care era la poartă şi bătrânii au zis: „Suntem martori! Domnul să facă pe femeia care intră în casa ta ca Rahela şi ca Lea, care amândouă au zidit casa lui Israel! Arată-ţi puterea în Efrata şi fă-ţi un nume în Betleem!

Then all the people who were at the gate and the elders said, “We are witnesses. May the LORD make the woman, who is coming into your house, like Rachel and Leah, who together built up the house of Israel. May you act worthily in Ephrathah and be renowned in Bethlehem,

Házad legyen olyan, mint Pérec háza, akit Támár szült Júdának, attól az utódodtól, akit az ÚR ad majd neked ettől az asszonytól.

És a te házad legyen, miként a Pérecz háza - a kit Thámár szült Júdának - abból a magzatból, a melyet az Úr adánd néked ettől az asszonytól.

And let thy house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed which the LORD shall give thee of this young woman.

Sămânţa pe care ţi-o va da Domnul, prin această tânără femeie, să-ţi facă o casă asemenea casei lui Pereţ, care s-a născut lui Iuda din Tamar!”

and may your house be like the house of Perez, whom Tamar bore to Judah, because of the offspring that the LORD will give you by this young woman.”

Elvette tehát Boáz Ruthot, és az a felesége lett. És bement hozzá, és megadta az ÚR, hogy fogant méhében, és fiút szült.

Elvevé annakokáért Boáz Ruthot, és lőn az néki felesége, és beméne hozzá, és megadá az Úr, hogy az fogana az ő méhében, és szült fiút.

So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son.

Boaz a luat pe Rut, care i-a fost nevastă, şi el a intrat la ea. Domnul a făcut-o să zămislească, şi ea a născut un fiu.

So Boaz took Ruth, and she became his wife. And he went in to her, and the LORD gave her conception, and she bore a son.

Akkor azt mondták az asszonyok Naominak: Áldott az ÚR, aki ma nem engedte meg, hogy rokoni támasz nélkül maradj. Legyen híres az ő neve Izráelben!

És mondák az asszonyok Naóminak: Áldott az Úr, a ki ma nem engedte meg, hogy rokon nélkül maradj; emlegessék az ő nevét Izráelben!

And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel.

Femeile au zis Naomei: „Binecuvântat să fie Domnul, care nu te-a lăsat lipsită azi de un bărbat cu drept de răscumpărare şi al cărui nume va fi lăudat în Israel!

Then the women said to Naomi, “Blessed be the LORD, who has not left you this day without a redeemer, and may his name be renowned in Israel!

Legyen ő lelked megvidámítója és vénséged istápolója, mert menyed szülte őt, az, aki szeret téged, és aki többet ér neked hét fiúnál.

És legyen ő a te lelkednek megvidámítója, és vénségednek istápolója, mert menyed szülte őt, az, a ki téged szeret, és a ki többet ér néked hét fiúnál.

And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him.

Copilul acesta îţi va înviora sufletul şi va fi sprijinul bătrâneţilor tale; căci l-a născut nora ta, care te iubeşte şi care face pentru tine mai mult decât şapte fii.”

He shall be to you a restorer of life and a nourisher of your old age, for your daughter-in-law who loves you, who is more to you than seven sons, has given birth to him.”

Ekkor megfogta Naomi a gyermeket, ölébe vette, és dajkája lett neki.

Ekkor megfogá Naómi a gyermeket, és ölébe vevé, és dajkája lőn annak.

And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it.

Naomi a luat copilul, l-a ţinut în braţe şi a văzut de el.

Then Naomi took the child and laid him on her lap and became his nurse.

A szomszédasszonyok pedig nevet adtak neki, és azt mondták: Fia született Naominak. És elnevezte Óbédnak. Ő az apja Isainak, Dávid apjának.

A szomszédasszonyok pedig nevet adának néki, mondván: Fia született Naóminak, és nevezték az ő nevét Obednek. Ez az apja Isainak, a Dávid atyjának.

And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David.

Vecinele i-au pus nume, zicând: „Un fiu s-a născut Naomei!” Şi l-au numit Obed. Aceasta a fost tatăl lui Isai, tatăl lui David.

And the women of the neighborhood gave him a name, saying, “A son has been born to Naomi.” They named him Obed. He was the father of Jesse, the father of David.

And Hezron begat Ram, and Ram begat Amminadab,

Hezron fathered Ram, Ram fathered Amminadab,

Ammínádáb nemzette Nahsónt, Nahsón nemzette Szalmónt.

Amminádáb pedig nemzé Naássont, és Naásson nemzé Sálmónt;

And Amminadab begat Nahshon, and Nahshon begat Salmon,

Aminadab a fost tatăl lui Nahşon; Nahşon a fost tatăl lui Salmon;

Amminadab fathered Nahshon, Nahshon fathered Salmon,

Szalmón nemzette Boázt, és Boáz nemzette Óbédot.

Sálmón pedig nemzé Boázt, és Boáz nemzé Obedet;

And Salmon begat Boaz, and Boaz begat Obed,

Salmon a fost tatăl lui Boaz; Boaz a fost tatăl lui Obed;

Salmon fathered Boaz, Boaz fathered Obed,

Óbéd nemzette Isait, Isai pedig nemzette Dávidot.

És Obed nemzé Isait, Isai pedig nemzé Dávidot.

And Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David.

Obed a fost tatăl lui Isai; şi Isai a fost tatăl lui David.

Obed fathered Jesse, and Jesse fathered David.
