Volt Naominak egy rokona a férje után, egy jómódú, derék ember Elimelek nemzetségéből, név szerint Boáz.

Vala pedig Naóminak egy rokona az ő férje után, előkelő derék ember Elimélek nemzetségéből; neve Boáz.

And Naomi had a kinsman of her husband's, a mighty man of wealth, of the family of Elimelech; and his name was Boaz.

Naomi avea o rudă după bărbat. Acesta era un om foarte bogat, din familia lui Elimelec, şi se numea Boaz.

Now Naomi had a relative of her husband’s, a worthy man of the clan of Elimelech, whose name was Boaz.

Azt mondta egyszer a móábi Ruth Naominak: Kérlek, hadd menjek ki a mezőre, hogy kalászokat szedegessek az után, akinek szeme előtt kedvességet találok. Ő azt mondta: Menj, édes leányom!

És monda a Moábita Ruth Naóminak: Hadd menjek, kérlek, a mezőre, hogy kalászokat szedegessek az után, a kinek szemei előtt kedvességet találok. És az monda: Menj édes leányom.

And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.

Rut, moabita, a zis către Naomi: „Lasă-mă, te rog, să mă duc să strâng spice de pe câmpul aceluia înaintea căruia voi căpăta trecere.” Ea i-a răspuns: „Du-te, fiica mea.”

And Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, “Let me go to the field and glean among the ears of grain after him in whose sight I shall find favor.” And she said to her, “Go, my daughter.”

Elment hát, és odaérkezve szedegetett a mezőn az aratók után. Történetesen az Elimelek nemzetségéből való Boáz szántóföldjére jutott.

And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on a part of the field belonging unto Boaz, who was of the kindred of Elimelech.

Ea s-a dus într-un ogor să strângă spice pe urma secerătorilor. Şi s-a întâmplat că ogorul acela era al lui Boaz, care era din familia lui Elimelec.

So she set out and went and gleaned in the field after the reapers, and she happened to come to the part of the field belonging to Boaz, who was of the clan of Elimelech.

Boáz éppen akkor jött Betlehemből, és így szólt az aratókhoz: Az ÚR legyen veletek! Ők így válaszoltak: Áldjon meg téged az ÚR!

És ímé Boáz kijöve Bethlehemből, és monda az aratóknak: Az Úr legyen veletek! És ők mondának néki: Áldjon meg téged az Úr!

And, behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem, and said unto the reapers, The LORD be with you. And they answered him, The LORD bless thee.

Şi iată că Boaz a venit din Betleem şi a zis secerătorilor: „Domnul să fie cu voi!” Ei au răspuns: „Domnul să te binecuvânteze!”

And behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem. And he said to the reapers, “The LORD be with you!” And they answered, “The LORD bless you.”

Majd Boáz így szólt annak a szolgájának, aki az aratók felügyelője volt: Kinek a leánya ez?

És monda Boáz az ő szolgájának, a ki az aratók felügyelője volt: Kié ez a leányzó?

Then said Boaz unto his servant that was set over the reapers, Whose damsel is this?

Şi Boaz a zis slujitorului însărcinat cu privegherea secerătorilor: „A cui este tânăra aceasta?”

Then Boaz said to his young man who was in charge of the reapers, “Whose young woman is this?”

Az aratók felügyelője így felelt: Az a móábi leány ez, aki Naomival jött Móáb mezejéről.

És felele a szolga, az aratók felügyelője, és monda: Az a Moábita leányzó ez, a ki Naómival jött a Moáb mezejéről.

And the servant that was set over the reapers answered and said, It is the Moabitish damsel that came back with Naomi out of the country of Moab:

Slujitorul însărcinat cu privegherea secerătorilor a răspuns: „Este o tânără moabită, care s-a întors cu Naomi din ţara Moabului.

And the servant who was in charge of the reapers answered, “She is the young Moabite woman, who came back with Naomi from the country of Moab.

Ő kérte: Hadd szedegessek, kérlek, és hadd tallózgassak a kévék közt az aratók után. Így jött ide, és itt maradt reggeltől fogva mindeddig. Csak éppen most pihent egy keveset a házban.

A ki mondá: Hadd szedegessek, kérlek, és hadd tarlózgassak a kévék közt az aratók után. És ide jöve, és itt marada reggeltől fogva mind mostanig: és csak épen most pihent egy keveset a házban.

And she said, I pray you, let me glean and gather after the reapers among the sheaves: so she came, and hath continued even from the morning until now, that she tarried a little in the house.

Ea a zis: „Dă-mi voie să strâng şi să culeg spice dintre snopi, rămase pe urma secerătorilor.” Şi de azi dimineaţă, de când a venit, a stat în picioare până acum şi nu s-a odihnit decât o clipă în casă.”

She said, ‘Please let me glean and gather among the sheaves after the reapers.’ So she came, and she has continued from early morning until now, except for a short rest.”

Boáz ezt mondta Ruthnak: Ugyan hallod-e, édes leányom! Ne menj szedegetni más mezőre. Ne menj el innen, hanem maradj mindenütt a szolgálóim nyomában.

És mondá Boáz Ruthnak: Ugyan hallod-é édes leányom! Ne menj szedegetni más mezőre és el ne menj innen; hanem menj [mindenütt] szolgálóim után.

Then said Boaz unto Ruth, Hearest thou not, my daughter? Go not to glean in another field, neither go from hence, but abide here fast by my maidens:

Boaz a zis către Rut: „Ascultă, fiică, să nu te duci să culegi spice în alt ogor; să nu te depărtezi de aici şi rămâi cu slujnicele mele.

Then Boaz said to Ruth, “Now, listen, my daughter, do not go to glean in another field or leave this one, but keep close to my young women.

Szemed legyen a mezőn, amelyet aratnak, és járj utánuk. Íme, meghagytam a szolgáknak, hogy ne bántsanak téged, és ha megszomjazol, menj az edényekhez, és igyál abból, amiből a szolgák merítenek.

Szemeid legyenek a mezőn, a melyet aratnak, és járj utánok. Ímé meghagytam a szolgáknak, hogy ne bántsanak téged, és ha megszomjúhozol, menj az edényekhez és igyál abból, a mit a szolgák merítenek.

Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn.

Uită-te unde vor secera pe câmp şi du-te după ele. Am poruncit slugilor mele să nu se atingă de tine. Şi când îţi va fi sete, să te duci la vase şi să bei din ce vor scoate slugile.”

Let your eyes be on the field that they are reaping, and go after them. Have I not charged the young men not to touch you? And when you are thirsty, go to the vessels and drink what the young men have drawn.”

Akkor ő arcra borult, meghajolt a földig, és ezt mondta neki: Miért vagy ilyen kedves hozzám, hogy rám tekintettél, holott én idegen vagyok?

Akkor ez arczra borula és meghajtá magát a földig, és monda néki: Hogy- hogy találtam [ilyen] kedvességet a te szemeid előtt, hogy rám tekintettél, holott én idegen vagyok?

Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger?

Atunci ea s-a aruncat cu faţa la pământ şi i-a zis: „Cum am căpătat eu trecere înaintea ta, ca să te îngrijeşti de mine, o străină?”

Then she fell on her face, bowing to the ground, and said to him, “Why have I found favor in your eyes, that you should take notice of me, since I am a foreigner?”

Boáz pedig így felelt: Bizony elmondtak nekem mindent, amit anyósoddal tettél férjed halála után, hogy elhagytad apádat és anyádat és a szülőföldedet, és ahhoz a néphez jöttél, amelyet nem ismertél azelőtt.

And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore.

Boaz i-a răspuns: „Mi s-a spus tot ce ai făcut pentru soacra ta, de la moartea bărbatului tău, şi cum ai părăsit pe tatăl tău şi pe mama ta şi ţara în care te-ai născut, ca să mergi la un popor pe care nu-l cunoşteai mai înainte.

But Boaz answered her, “All that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband has been fully told to me, and how you left your father and mother and your native land and came to a people that you did not know before.

Fizessen meg az ÚR a te tettedért, és legyen teljes a jutalmad az ÚRtól, Izráel Istenétől, akinek szárnyai alá jöttél oltalmat keresni.

Fizessen meg az Úr a te cselekedetedért, és legyen teljes a te jutalmad az Úrtól, Izráelnek Istenétől, a kinek szárnyai alatt oltalmat keresni jöttél.

The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.

Domnul să-ţi răsplătească ce ai făcut, şi plata să-ţi fie deplină din partea Domnului Dumnezeului lui Israel sub ale cărui aripi ai venit să te adăposteşti!”

The LORD repay you for what you have done, and a full reward be given you by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge!”

Ő pedig ezt mondta: Hálás vagyok kedvességedért, uram, mert megvigasztaltál engem, és szívélyesen beszéltél szolgálóddal, holott én nem a te szolgálóleányaid közül való vagyok.

Ez pedig monda: Találjak kedvességet a te szemeid előtt uram, mert megvigasztaltál engem, és mert a te szolgálódnak szívéhez szóltál, holott én nem vagyok a te szolgálóleányaid közül.

Then she said, Let me find favour in thy sight, my lord; for that thou hast comforted me, and for that thou hast spoken friendly unto thine handmaid, though I be not like unto one of thine handmaidens.

Şi ea a zis: „O! Să capăt trecere înaintea ta, domnul meu! Căci tu m-ai mângâiat, şi vorbele tale au mers la inima slujnicei tale. Şi totuşi eu nu sunt nici măcar ca una din slujnicele tale.”

Then she said, “I have found favor in your eyes, my lord, for you have comforted me and spoken kindly to your servant, though I am not one of your servants.”

Az evés idején így szólt neki Boáz: Jöjj ide, egyél a kenyérből, és mártsd falatodat az ecetes lébe. És ő leült az aratók mellé. Boáz pörkölt gabonát nyújtott neki, és evett, s jóllakott, sőt még hagyott is.

És az evésnek idejekor szóla néki Boáz: Jer ide, és egyél a kenyérből, és mártsd be a te falatodat az eczetes [lébe]. És ő leüle az aratók mellé. És pergelt gabonát nyújtott néki, és evett, s jóllakott, sőt még hagyott is.

And Boaz said unto her, At mealtime come thou hither, and eat of the bread, and dip thy morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he reached her parched corn, and she did eat, and was sufficed, and left.

La vremea prânzului, Boaz a zis către Rut: „Apropie-te, mănâncă pâine şi înmoaie-ţi bucata în oţet.” Ea a şezut lângă secerători. I-au dat grăunţe prăjite; a mâncat şi s-a săturat, şi ce a rămas a strâns.

And at mealtime Boaz said to her, “Come here and eat some bread and dip your morsel in the wine.” So she sat beside the reapers, and he passed to her roasted grain. And she ate until she was satisfied, and she had some left over.

Azután felállt, hogy tovább szedegessen, és Boáz azt parancsolta szolgáinak: Hadd szedegessen a kévék között is, és meg ne pirongassátok!

Azután felállott, hogy szedegessen és Boáz megparancsolta az ő szolgáinak, mondván: A kévék között is hadd szedegessen, és meg ne pirongassátok őt.

And when she was risen up to glean, Boaz commanded his young men, saying, Let her glean even among the sheaves, and reproach her not:

Apoi s-a sculat să culeagă spice. Boaz a dat următoarea poruncă slujitorilor săi: „Lăsaţi-o să culeagă spice şi între snopi şi să n-o opriţi;

When she rose to glean, Boaz instructed his young men, saying, “Let her glean even among the sheaves, and do not reproach her.

And let fall also some of the handfuls of purpose for her, and leave them, that she may glean them, and rebuke her not.

şi chiar voi să-i scoateţi din snopi câteva spice; s-o lăsaţi să culeagă spice şi să n-o înfruntaţi.”

And also pull out some from the bundles for her and leave it for her to glean, and do not rebuke her.”

Így szedegetett a mezőn egész estig, és mikor kicsépelte, amit szedegetett, majdnem egy efa árpa lett belőle.

So she gleaned in the field until even, and beat out that she had gleaned: and it was about an ephah of barley.

Akkor fölvette, bement a városba, és megmutatta anyósának, amit szedegetett. Azután elővette és odaadta neki, amit meghagyott, miután jóllakott.

És felvevé és beméne a városba, és napaasszonya látá, a mit ő szedegetett. Aztán elővevé és odaadá néki, a mit meghagyott, minekutána jóllakott vala.

And she took it up, and went into the city: and her mother in law saw what she had gleaned: and she brought forth, and gave to her that she had reserved after she was sufficed.

And she took it up and went into the city. Her mother-in-law saw what she had gleaned. She also brought out and gave her what food she had left over after being satisfied.

Erre azt kérdezte tőle az anyósa: Hol szedegettél ma, hol munkálkodtál? Áldott legyen, aki rád tekintett. És ő elbeszélte anyósának, hogy kinél munkálkodott. Azt mondta: Annak a férfinak a neve, akinél ma munkálkodtam, Boáz.

És monda néki az ő napaasszonya: Hol szedegettél ma, és hol munkálkodtál? Áldott legyen, a ki rád tekintett. És elbeszélte az ő napaasszonyának, hogy kinél munkálkodott, és monda: Annak a férfiúnak a neve, a kinél ma munkálkodtam: Boáz.

And her mother in law said unto her, Where hast thou gleaned to day? and where wroughtest thou? blessed be he that did take knowledge of thee. And she shewed her mother in law with whom she had wrought, and said, The man's name with whom I wrought to day is Boaz.

Soacra sa i-a zis: „Unde ai cules astăzi spice şi unde ai muncit? Binecuvântat să fie cel ce s-a îngrijit de tine!” Şi Rut a spus soacrei sale la cine muncise: „Omul la care am muncit azi”, a zis ea, „se numeşte Boaz.”

And her mother-in-law said to her, “Where did you glean today? And where have you worked? Blessed be the man who took notice of you.” So she told her mother-in-law with whom she had worked and said, “The man’s name with whom I worked today is Boaz.”

Ekkor Naomi így szólt a menyéhez: Áldja meg őt az ÚR, aki nem vonta meg irgalmasságát az élőktől és a holtaktól! Ezután azt mondta neki Naomi: Közeli rokonunk az a férfi, a legközelebbi rokonaink közül való.

És monda Naómi az ő menyének: Áldott legyen ő az Úrtól, a ki nem vonta meg irgalmasságát az élőktől és a megholtaktól! És Naómi monda néki: Közel valónk nékünk az a férfiú; legközelebbi rokonaink közül való ő.

And Naomi said unto her daughter in law, Blessed be he of the LORD, who hath not left off his kindness to the living and to the dead. And Naomi said unto her, The man is near of kin unto us, one of our next kinsmen.

Naomi a zis nurorii sale: „Să fie binecuvântat de Domnul, care este plin de îndurare pentru cei vii, cum a fost şi pentru cei ce au murit. Omul acesta este rudă cu noi”, i-a mai spus Naomi, „este din cei ce au drept de răscumpărare asupra noastră.”

And Naomi said to her daughter-in-law, “May he be blessed by the LORD, whose kindness has not forsaken the living or the dead!” Naomi also said to her, “The man is a close relative of ours, one of our redeemers.”

Akkor a móábi Ruth így szólt: Még azt is mondta nekem: Menj mindenütt a munkásaim után, amíg csak be nem fejezik nálam az egész aratást.

And Ruth the Moabitess said, He said unto me also, Thou shalt keep fast by my young men, until they have ended all my harvest.

Rut, moabita, a adăugat: „El mi-a mai zis: „Rămâi cu slugile mele până vor isprăvi de secerat.”

And Ruth the Moabite said, “Besides, he said to me, ‘You shall keep close by my young men until they have finished all my harvest.’”

Naomi azt mondta menyének, Ruthnak: Jól teszed, édes leányom, hogy az ő szolgálóival jársz, így nem fognak téged háborgatni más mezőn.

És monda Naómi Ruthnak, az ő menyének: Jó, édes leányom, hogy az ő szolgálóival jársz, ne is találjanak téged más mezőn.

And Naomi said unto Ruth her daughter in law, It is good, my daughter, that thou go out with his maidens, that they meet thee not in any other field.

Şi Naomi a zis către nora sa, Rut: „Este bine, fiica mea, să ieşi cu slujnicele lui şi să nu te întâlnească cineva în alt ogor.”

And Naomi said to Ruth, her daughter-in-law, “It is good, my daughter, that you go out with his young women, lest in another field you be assaulted.”

Így járt ő mindenütt Boáz szolgálói után, szedegetve, míg az árpa és a búza aratása be nem fejeződött. És az anyósánál lakott.

Így járt ő [mindenütt] a Boáz szolgálói után, szedegetve, míg az árpaaratás és búzaaratás bevégződött; és az ő napaasszonyával lakott.

So she kept fast by the maidens of Boaz to glean unto the end of barley harvest and of wheat harvest; and dwelt with her mother in law.

Ea s-a ţinut, dar, de slujnicele lui Boaz, ca să culeagă spice, până la sfârşitul seceratului orzului şi seceratului grâului. Şi locuia cu soacra sa.

So she kept close to the young women of Boaz, gleaning until the end of the barley and wheat harvests. And she lived with her mother-in-law.
