Abban az időben történt, amikor a bírák ítélkeztek az országban, hogy éhség támadt a földön. Ezért elment a júdai Betlehemből egy férfi a feleségével és két fiával, hogy Móáb mezején lakjék.

És lőn azon napokban, a mikor a bírák bíráskodának, éhség lőn a földön. És elméne egy férfi a Júda Bethleheméből, hogy Moáb mezején tartózkodjék; ő meg a felesége, és a két fia.

Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehemjudah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons.

Pe vremea judecătorilor, a fost o foamete în ţară. Un om din Betleemul lui Iuda a plecat cu nevasta sa şi cu cei doi fii ai lui, să locuiască pentru o vreme în ţara Moabului.

In the days when the judges ruled there was a famine in the land, and a man of Bethlehem in Judah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he and his wife and his two sons.

A férfi neve Elimelek volt, a feleségéé Naomi, két fiának pedig Mahlón és Kiljón volt a neve. Efrátaiak voltak, a júdai Betlehemből. El is jutottak Móáb mezejére, és ott éltek.

A férfi neve Elimélek és felesége neve Naómi; két fiok neve pedig Mahlon és Kiljon; efrataiak, a Júda Bethleheméből valók. És eljutának Moáb mezejére, és ott valának.

And the name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife Naomi, and the name of his two sons Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehemjudah. And they came into the country of Moab, and continued there.

Numele omului aceluia era Elimelec, numele nevestei lui era Naomi, şi cei doi fii ai lui se numeau Mahlon şi Chilion: erau efratiţi, din Betleemul lui Iuda. Ajungând în ţara Moabului, şi-au aşezat locuinţa acolo.

The name of the man was Elimelech and the name of his wife Naomi, and the names of his two sons were Mahlon and Chilion. They were Ephrathites from Bethlehem in Judah. They went into the country of Moab and remained there.

Azután meghalt Elimelek, Naomi férje, és ő ott maradt két fiával.

Meghala pedig Elimélek a Naómi férje, és marada ő és az ő két fia.

And Elimelech Naomi's husband died; and she was left, and her two sons.

Elimelec, bărbatul Naomei, a murit, şi ea a rămas cu cei doi fii ai ei.

But Elimelech, the husband of Naomi, died, and she was left with her two sons.

Ezek móábi leányokat vettek feleségül. Az egyiknek Orpá, a másiknak Ruth volt a neve. Mintegy tíz esztendeig laktak ott.

A kik Moábita leányokat vőnek feleségül; az egyiknek neve Orpa, és a másiknak neve Ruth. És ott lakozának közel tíz esztendeig.

And they took them wives of the women of Moab; the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth: and they dwelled there about ten years.

Ei şi-au luat neveste moabite. Una se numea Orpa, şi cealaltă Rut, şi au locuit acolo aproape zece ani.

These took Moabite wives; the name of the one was Orpah and the name of the other Ruth. They lived there about ten years,

Meghaltak ők is mind a ketten: Mahlón és Kiljón is. Így az asszony két fia és a férje nélkül maradt.

Meghalának ők is mind a ketten, Mahlon is, Kiljon is, és marada az asszony az ő két fia és férje nélkül.

And Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; and the woman was left of her two sons and her husband.

Mahlon şi Chilion au murit şi ei amândoi, şi Naomi a rămas fără cei doi fii ai ei şi fără bărbat.

and both Mahlon and Chilion died, so that the woman was left without her two sons and her husband.

Útra kelt azért a menyeivel, hogy hazatérjen Móáb mezejéről, mert hallotta Móáb mezején, hogy meglátogatta az ÚR a népét, és kenyeret adott nekik.

Felkele azért ő és az ő menyei, és ő visszatére Moáb mezejéről; mert hallotta vala Moáb mezején, hogy meglátogatta az Úr az ő népét, hogy adjon nékik kenyeret.

Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had visited his people in giving them bread.

Apoi s-a sculat, ea şi nurorile ei, ca să se întoarcă în ţara ei din ţara Moabului, căci aflase în ţara Moabului că Domnul cercetase pe poporul Său şi-i dăduse pâine.

Then she arose with her daughters-in-law to return from the country of Moab, for she had heard in the fields of Moab that the LORD had visited his people and given them food.

Elhagyta tehát azt a helyet, ahol élt, két menyével együtt. Így indultak útnak, hogy visszatérjenek Júda földjére.

És kiméne arról a helyről, a hol volt, és vele a két menye. És menének az úton, hogy visszatérjenek Júda földére,

Wherefore she went forth out of the place where she was, and her two daughters in law with her; and they went on the way to return unto the land of Judah.

Ea a ieşit din locul în care locuia însoţită de cele două nurori ale ei şi a pornit ca să se întoarcă în ţara lui Iuda.

So she set out from the place where she was with her two daughters-in-law, and they went on the way to return to the land of Judah.

Naomi azt mondta a két menyének: Menjetek, térjen vissza mindegyikőtök az anyja házához. Cselekedjék az ÚR irgalmasságot veletek, úgy, ahogy ti cselekedtetek a megholtakkal és énvelem!

És monda Naómi az ő két menyének: Menjetek, térjetek vissza, kiki az ő anyjának házához. Cselekedjék az Úr irgalmasságot veletek, a miképen ti cselekedtetek a megholtakkal és én velem!

And Naomi said unto her two daughters in law, Go, return each to her mother's house: the LORD deal kindly with you, as ye have dealt with the dead, and with me.

Naomi a zis atunci celor două nurori ale ei: „Duceţi-vă şi întoarceţi-vă fiecare la casa mamei ei! Domnul să Se îndure de voi, cum v-aţi îndurat şi voi de cei ce au murit şi de mine!

But Naomi said to her two daughters-in-law, “Go, return each of you to her mother’s house. May the LORD deal kindly with you, as you have dealt with the dead and with me.

Adja meg az ÚR nektek, hogy nyugalmat találjon mindegyikőtök a férje házában! Azután megcsókolta őket, és hangosan sírtak.

Adja az Úr tinéktek, hogy találjatok nyugodalmat, kiki az ő férje házában. És megcsókolá őket; és ők nagy felszóval sírának.

The LORD grant you that ye may find rest, each of you in the house of her husband. Then she kissed them; and they lifted up their voice, and wept.

Să vă dea Domnul să găsiţi odihnă fiecare în casa unui bărbat!” Şi le-a sărutat. Ele au ridicat glasul şi au plâns;

The LORD grant that you may find rest, each of you in the house of her husband!” Then she kissed them, and they lifted up their voices and wept.

Ők azt mondták neki: Bizony mi elmegyünk veled együtt a te népedhez!

És mondák néki: Bizony mi veled együtt térünk a te népedhez!

And they said unto her, Surely we will return with thee unto thy people.

şi i-au zis: „Nu; noi vom merge cu tine la poporul tău.”

And they said to her, “No, we will return with you to your people.”

Naomi erre ezt mondta: Térjetek vissza, leányaim! Miért jönnétek velem? Hát ugyan vannak-e még fiak a méhemben, akik férjeitek lehetnének?

Naómi pedig mondá: Térjetek vissza leányaim! Miért jönnétek én velem? Hát ugyan vannak-é még fiak az én méhemben, a kik férjeitek lehetnének?

And Naomi said, Turn again, my daughters: why will ye go with me? are there yet any more sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands?

Naomi a zis: „Întoarceţi-vă, fiicele mele! Pentru ce să veniţi voi cu mine? Mai am eu oare fii în pântecele meu, ca să poată fi bărbaţii voştri?

But Naomi said, “Turn back, my daughters; why will you go with me? Have I yet sons in my womb that they may become your husbands?

Térjetek vissza, leányaim! Menjetek, mert én már idősebb vagyok, semhogy férjhez mehetnék. Még ha azt mondanám is, hogy van reménységem, még ha ez éjjel férjhez mennék is, és szülnék is fiakat,

Térjetek vissza leányaim! menjetek, mert én már vénebb vagyok, semhogy férjhez mehetnék. Még ha azt mondanám is, hogy van reménységem; még ha ez éjjel férjhez mennék is és szülnék is fiakat:

Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons;

Întoarceţi-vă, fiicele mele, şi duceţi-vă! Eu sunt prea bătrână ca să mă mărit din nou. Şi chiar dacă aş zice că trag nădejde; chiar dacă în noaptea aceasta aş fi cu un bărbat şi aş naşte fii,

Turn back, my daughters; go your way, for I am too old to have a husband. If I should say I have hope, even if I should have a husband this night and should bear sons,

ugyan megvárhatnátok-e őket, amíg felnőnek? Ugyan megtartóztatnátok-e magatokat miattuk, hogy ne menjetek férjhez? Nem, édes leányaim! Mert nagyobb az én keserűségem, mint a tietek, mert elért engem az ÚR keze.

Ugyan megvárhatnátok-é őket, a míg felnőnek? Ugyan megtartóztatnátok-é magatokat miattok, hogy férjhez ne menjetek? Ne, édes leányaim! Mert nagyobb az én keserüségem, mint a tietek, mert engem talált az Úrnak keze.

Would ye tarry for them till they were grown? would ye stay for them from having husbands? nay, my daughters; for it grieveth me much for your sakes that the hand of the LORD is gone out against me.

aţi mai aştepta voi până să se facă mari şi aţi vrea voi să nu vă măritaţi din pricina lor? Nu, fiicele mele! Eu sunt mult mai amărâtă decât voi, pentru că mâna Domnului s-a întins împotriva mea.”

would you therefore wait till they were grown? Would you therefore refrain from marrying? No, my daughters, for it is exceedingly bitter to me for your sake that the hand of the LORD has gone out against me.”

Ők pedig hangosan tovább sírtak. Majd Orpá megcsókolta az anyósát. Ruth azonban ragaszkodott hozzá.

Azok pedig nagy felszóval tovább sírának. És Orpa megcsókolá az ő napát; Ruth azonban ragaszkodék hozzá.

And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her.

Şi ele au ridicat glasul şi iarăşi au plâns. Orpa a sărutat pe soacra sa şi a plecat, dar Rut s-a ţinut de ea.

Then they lifted up their voices and wept again. And Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth clung to her.

Ő akkor azt mondta: Látod, a sógornőd visszatért népéhez és isteneihez. Térj vissza te is a sógornőd után.

Ő pedig monda: Ímé a te sógorasszonyod visszatért az ő népéhez, és az ő isteneihez, térj vissza te is a te sógorasszonyod után.

And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law.

Naomi a zis către Rut: „Iată, cumnata ta s-a întors la poporul ei şi la dumnezeii ei; întoarce-te şi tu după cumnata ta.”

And she said, “See, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods; return after your sister-in-law.”

Ruth pedig ezt mondta: Ne unszolj engem, hogy elhagyjalak, hogy visszaforduljak tőled. Mert ahova te mész, oda megyek én is, és ahol te megszállsz, ott szállok meg. Néped az én népem, és Istened az én Istenem.

Ruth pedig monda: Ne unszolj, hogy elhagyjalak, hogy visszaforduljak tőled. Mert a hova te mégy, oda megyek, és a hol te megszállsz, ott szállok meg; néped az én népem, és Istened az én Istenem.

And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:

Rut a răspuns: „Nu sta de mine să te las şi să mă întorc de la tine! Încotro vei merge tu, voi merge şi eu, unde vei locui tu, voi locui şi eu; poporul tău va fi poporul meu, şi Dumnezeul tău va fi Dumnezeul meu;

But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God.

Ahol te meghalsz, ott akarok meghalni én is, ott temessenek el engem is. Bármit tegyen az ÚR velem, csak a halál választ el engem tőled!

A hol te meghalsz, ott halok meg, ott temessenek el engem is. Úgy tegyen velem az Úr akármit, hogy csak a halál választ el engem tőled.

Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.

unde vei muri tu, voi muri şi eu şi voi fi îngropată acolo. Facă-mi Domnul ce o vrea, dar nimic nu mă va despărţi de tine decât moartea!”

Where you die I will die, and there will I be buried. May the LORD do so to me and more also if anything but death parts me from you.”

Mikor pedig látta, hogy mindenáron vele akar menni, többet nem szólt neki.

Mikor pedig látá, hogy erősködik vele menni, nem szóla néki többet.

When she saw that she was stedfastly minded to go with her, then she left speaking unto her.

Naomi, văzând-o hotărâtă să meargă cu ea, n-a mai stăruit.

And when Naomi saw that she was determined to go with her, she said no more.

Így mentek mindketten, amíg Betlehembe nem értek. Amikor Betlehembe érkeztek, megmozdult az egész város miattuk, és azt kérdezték: Csak nem Naomi ez?

És menének mind a ketten, míglen Bethlehembe érkezének. És lőn, hogy mikor Bethlehembe érkezének, megmozdult az egész város miattok, és mondák: Nemde nem Naómi ez?

So they two went until they came to Bethlehem. And it came to pass, when they were come to Bethlehem, that all the city was moved about them, and they said, Is this Naomi?

Au călătorit împreună până ce au ajuns la Betleem. Şi când au intrat în Betleem, toată cetatea s-a pus în mişcare din pricina lor, şi femeile ziceau: „Naomi este aceasta?”

So the two of them went on until they came to Bethlehem. And when they came to Bethlehem, the whole town was stirred because of them. And the women said, “Is this Naomi?”

Ő azt mondta nekik: Ne hívjatok engem Naominak, hívjatok inkább Márának, mert nagyon megkeserített engem a Mindenható.

És ő monda nékik: Ne hívjatok engem Naóminak, hívjatok inkább Márának, mert nagy keserűséggel illetett engem a Mindenható.

And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me.

Ea le-a zis: „Nu-mi mai ziceţi Naomi; ziceţi-mi Mara căci Cel Atotputernic m-a umplut de amărăciune.

She said to them, “Do not call me Naomi; call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me.

Többedmagammal mentem el, és elárvultan hozott vissza engem az ÚR. Miért hívnátok hát engem Naominak, holott az ÚR ellenem fordult, és a Mindenható nyomorúsággal illetett engem?

Többed magammal mentem el, és elárvultan hozott vissza engemet az Úr; miért hívnátok hát engem Naóminak, holott az Úr ellenem fordult, és a Mindenható nyomorúsággal illetett engemet?

I went out full and the LORD hath brought me home again empty: why then call ye me Naomi, seeing the LORD hath testified against me, and the Almighty hath afflicted me?

La plecare eram în belşug, şi acum Domnul mă aduce înapoi cu mâinile goale. De ce să-mi mai ziceţi Naomi, când Domnul S-a rostit împotriva mea, şi Cel Atotputernic m-a întristat?”

I went away full, and the LORD has brought me back empty. Why call me Naomi, when the LORD has testified against me and the Almighty has brought calamity upon me?”

Így tért vissza Naomi és vele együtt menye, a móábi Ruth Móáb mezejéről. Éppen az árpaaratás kezdetén érkeztek meg Betlehembe.

Így tért vissza Naómi, és vele a Moábita Ruth, az ő menye, a ki hazatért Moáb mezejéről. Megérkezének pedig Bethlehembe az árpaaratás kezdetén.

So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess, her daughter in law, with her, which returned out of the country of Moab: and they came to Bethlehem in the beginning of barley harvest.

Astfel s-au întors din ţara Moabului Naomi şi nora sa Rut, moabita. Au ajuns la Betleem la începutul seceratului orzului.

So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabite her daughter-in-law with her, who returned from the country of Moab. And they came to Bethlehem at the beginning of barley harvest.
