Izráel fiai megesküdtek Micpában: Senki sem adja közülünk a leányát feleségül benjámininak.

És az Izráel fiai megesküdtek Mispában, mondván: Senki mi közülünk nem adja leányát Benjáminnak feleségül.

Now the men of Israel had sworn in Mizpeh, saying, There shall not any of us give his daughter unto Benjamin to wife.

Bărbaţii lui Israel juraseră la Miţpa, zicând: „Niciunul din noi să nu-şi dea fata după un beniamit.”

Now the men of Israel had sworn at Mizpah, “No one of us shall give his daughter in marriage to Benjamin.”

És a nép elment Bételbe, és ott volt egész estig Isten színe előtt, és fennhangon, nagy sírással sírt.

And the people came to the house of God, and abode there till even before God, and lifted up their voices, and wept sore;

And the people came to Bethel and sat there till evening before God, and they lifted up their voices and wept bitterly.

Ezt mondták: Ó, URam, Izráel Istene! Miért van Izráelben, hogy ma Izráelből egy nemzetség hiányzik?

És mondának: Oh Uram! Izráelnek Istene! Miért történt ez Izráelben, hogy ma Izráelből egy nemzetség hiányzik?

And said, O LORD God of Israel, why is this come to pass in Israel, that there should be to day one tribe lacking in Israel?

şi au zis: „Doamne Dumnezeul lui Israel, pentru ce s-a întâmplat aşa ceva în Israel: să lipsească astăzi o seminţie întreagă din Israel?”

And they said, “O LORD, the God of Israel, why has this happened in Israel, that today there should be one tribe lacking in Israel?”

S másnap reggel fölkelt a nép, oltárt épített ott, és egészen elégő áldozatot és hálaadó áldozatot mutatott be.

És lőn másnap reggel, felkele a nép és ott oltárt épített, és egészen égőáldozatot és hálaadó áldozatot áldozott.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that the people rose early, and built there an altar, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings.

Majd azt mondták Izráel fiai: Van-e valaki, aki nem jött föl a gyülekezetbe Izráel törzsei közül az ÚRhoz? Mert egykor nagy esküvéssel fogadták meg, hogy aki nem jön föl az ÚRhoz Micpába, az mindenképp haljon meg.

És mondának az Izráel fiai: Kicsoda az, a ki nem jött fel a gyülekezetbe az Izráelnek minden nemzetségei közül az Úrhoz? Mert nagy esküt tettek volt [egyszer] a felől, a ki fel nem jött az Úrhoz Mispába, mondván: Meghalván meghaljon [az!]

And the children of Israel said, Who is there among all the tribes of Israel that came not up with the congregation unto the LORD? For they had made a great oath concerning him that came not up to the LORD to Mizpeh, saying, He shall surely be put to death.

Copiii lui Israel au zis: „Cine dintre toate seminţiile lui Israel nu s-a suit la adunare înaintea Domnului?” Căci făcuseră un jurământ mare împotriva oricui nu s-ar sui la Domnul, la Miţpa, şi ziseseră: „Să fie pedepsit cu moartea.”

And the people of Israel said, “Which of all the tribes of Israel did not come up in the assembly to the LORD?” For they had taken a great oath concerning him who did not come up to the LORD to Mizpah, saying, “He shall surely be put to death.”

Izráel fiai ugyanis megszánták testvérüket, Benjámint, és azt mondták: Kivágatott ma egy törzs Izráelből.

És megszánák az Izráel fiai Benjámint, az ő atyjokfiát, és mondának: Kivágattatott ma egy nemzetség Izráelből.

And the children of Israel repented them for Benjamin their brother, and said, There is one tribe cut off from Israel this day.

And the people of Israel had compassion for Benjamin their brother and said, “One tribe is cut off from Israel this day.

Mit cselekedjünk azokkal, akik megmaradtak, hogy feleséget kaphassanak? Mert mi megesküdtünk az ÚRra, hogy nem adjuk nekik feleségül a leányainkat.

Mit cselekedjünk azokkal, a kik megmaradtak, hogy feleséget [kaphassanak? ]Mert mi megesküdtünk az Úrra, hogy nem adjuk nékik feleségül a mi leányainkat.

How shall we do for wives for them that remain, seeing we have sworn by the LORD that we will not give them of our daughters to wives?

Cum să facem rost de neveste celor ce au rămas cu viaţă, fiindcă am jurat pe Domnul să nu le dăm fetele noastre de neveste?”

What shall we do for wives for those who are left, since we have sworn by the LORD that we will not give them any of our daughters for wives?”

Ekkor ezt mondták: Van-e valaki Izráel törzsei közül, aki nem jött föl az ÚRhoz Micpába? És íme, Jábés-Gileádból nem jött föl senki a gyülekezet táborába.

És mondának: Van-é valaki az Izráel nemzetségei közül, a ki nem jött fel az Úrhoz Mispába? És íme Jábes-Gileádból nem jött fel senki a gyülekezet táborába.

And they said, What one is there of the tribes of Israel that came not up to Mizpeh to the LORD? And, behold, there came none to the camp from Jabeshgilead to the assembly.

Ei au zis deci: „Este cineva dintre seminţiile lui Israel care să nu se fi suit la Domnul, la Miţpa?” Şi nimeni din Iabes, din Galaad, nu venise în tabără, la adunare.

And they said, “What one is there of the tribes of Israel that did not come up to the LORD to Mizpah?” And behold, no one had come to the camp from Jabesh-gilead, to the assembly.

Mert mikor számba vették a népet, kitűnt, hogy nem volt ott senki Jábés-Gileád lakosai közül.

Mert megszámlálá magát a nép, és ímé nem vala ott senki a Jábes-Gileád lakosai közül.

For the people were numbered, and, behold, there were none of the inhabitants of Jabeshgilead there.

Au făcut numărătoarea poporului, şi nu era acolo niciunul din locuitorii din Iabes, din Galaad.

For when the people were mustered, behold, not one of the inhabitants of Jabesh-gilead was there.

Ekkor elküldött a gyülekezet oda tizenkétezer harcban edzett férfit, és ezt parancsolták nekik: Menjetek el, és hányjátok kardélre Jábés-Gileád lakóit, még az asszonyokat és a gyermekeket is!

Ekkor elküldött a gyülekezet oda tizenkétezer harczban edzett férfiút, és megparancsolták nékik, mondván: Menjetek el, és vágjátok le Jábes- Gileád lakóit fegyvernek élivel, [még] az asszonyokat és a gyermekeket [is.]

And the congregation sent thither twelve thousand men of the valiantest, and commanded them, saying, Go and smite the inhabitants of Jabeshgilead with the edge of the sword, with the women and the children.

Atunci adunarea a trimis împotriva lor douăsprezece mii de ostaşi, dându-le porunca aceasta: „Duceţi-vă şi treceţi prin ascuţişul sabiei pe locuitorii din Iabes, din Galaad, cu femeile şi copiii.

So the congregation sent 12,000 of their bravest men there and commanded them, “Go and strike the inhabitants of Jabesh-gilead with the edge of the sword; also the women and the little ones.

Ezt tegyétek: minden férfit és minden olyan asszonyt, aki már férfival hált, öljetek meg.

És ezt [kell] cselekednetek, hogy minden férfiút és minden asszonyt, a ki már férfiúval hált, öljetek meg.

And this is the thing that ye shall do, Ye shall utterly destroy every male, and every woman that hath lain by man.

Iată ce să faceţi: să nimiciţi cu desăvârşire orice bărbat şi orice femeie care a cunoscut împreunarea cu bărbat.”

This is what you shall do: every male and every woman that has lain with a male you shall devote to destruction.”

Találtak azonban Jábés-Gileád lakói között négyszáz szűz leányt, akik még nem ismertek férfit, nem háltak senkivel, és ezeket elvitték a táborba, Silóba, amely Kánaán földjén volt.

Találának pedig a Jábes-Gileád lakói között négyszáz szűz leányt, a kik [még] nem ismertek férfiút férfival való hálással, és elvitték őket a táborba Silóba, mely vala a Kanaán földén.

And they found among the inhabitants of Jabeshgilead four hundred young virgins, that had known no man by lying with any male: and they brought them unto the camp to Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan.

Au găsit între locuitorii din Iabes, din Galaad, patru sute de fete fecioare, care nu se culcaseră cu bărbat, şi le-au adus în tabără la Silo; care este în ţara Canaanului.”

And they found among the inhabitants of Jabesh-gilead 400 young virgins who had not known a man by lying with him, and they brought them to the camp at Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan.

És követeket küldött az egész gyülekezet, és üzent Benjámin fiainak, akik a Rimmón szikláján voltak, és békességet ígértek nekik.

És elküldött az egész gyülekezet, és izent a Benjámin fiainak, kik a Rimmon szikláján voltak, és békességet ígérének nékik.

And the whole congregation sent some to speak to the children of Benjamin that were in the rock Rimmon, and to call peaceably unto them.

Toată adunarea a trimis soli să vorbească fiilor lui Beniamin care erau la stânca Rimon şi să le vestească pacea.

Then the whole congregation sent word to the people of Benjamin who were at the rock of Rimmon and proclaimed peace to them.

Így tért vissza abban az időben Benjámin, és nekik adták feleségül azokat, akiket meghagytak a jábés-gileádi nők közül. De így sem jutott nekik elég.

Így tért vissza abban az időben Benjámin, és nékik adták azokat feleségül, a kiket meghagytak Jábes-Gileád asszony népei közül; de így sem lőn elég nékik.

And Benjamin came again at that time; and they gave them wives which they had saved alive of the women of Jabeshgilead: and yet so they sufficed them not.

În timpul acela beniamiţii s-au întors şi li s-au dat de neveste acelea pe care le lăsaseră cu viaţă din femeile din Iabes, din Galaad. Dar nu erau destule.

And Benjamin returned at that time. And they gave them the women whom they had saved alive of the women of Jabesh-gilead, but they were not enough for them.

A nép bánkódott Benjámin miatt, hogy az ÚR ilyen rést ütött Izráel törzsein.

És bánkódék a nép Benjámin miatt, hogy az Úr [ilyen] rést csinált az Izráel törzsein.

And the people repented them for Benjamin, because that the LORD had made a breach in the tribes of Israel.

Poporului îi părea rău de Beniamin, căci Domnul făcuse o spărtură în seminţiile lui Israel.

And the people had compassion on Benjamin because the LORD had made a breach in the tribes of Israel.

Akkor azt mondták a gyülekezet vénei: Mit tegyünk, hogy a többiek is feleséget kapjanak? Mert Benjáminból kipusztultak az asszonyok.

Mondának azért a gyülekezet vénei: Mit tegyünk, hogy a többiek is feleséget [kapjanak,] mert Benjáminból kipusztíttattak az asszonyok?

Then the elders of the congregation said, How shall we do for wives for them that remain, seeing the women are destroyed out of Benjamin?

Bătrânii adunării au zis: „Cum să facem rost de neveste pentru cei rămaşi, căci femeile lui Beniamin au fost nimicite?”

Then the elders of the congregation said, “What shall we do for wives for those who are left, since the women are destroyed out of Benjamin?”

Ezt mondták: Benjámin birtoka örökség szerint azoké, akik megmaradtak, mert nem szabad Izráelben egy törzsnek sem eltöröltetnie.

És mondának: A Benjáminiták birtoka örökség szerint ezeké, a kik megmaradtak, mert nem szabad Izráelben [egy] nemzetségnek sem eltöröltetni.

And they said, There must be an inheritance for them that be escaped of Benjamin, that a tribe be not destroyed out of Israel.

Şi au zis: „Cei ce au mai rămas din Beniamin să-şi păstreze moştenirea, ca să nu se şteargă o seminţie din Israel.

And they said, “There must be an inheritance for the survivors of Benjamin, that a tribe not be blotted out from Israel.

De mi nem adhatunk nekik feleséget leányaink közül, mert így esküdtek meg Izráel fiai: Átkozott, aki feleséget ad egy benjámininak!

De mi nem adhatunk nékik feleségeket leányaink közül, mert megesküdtek az Izráel fiai, mondván: Átkozott, a ki feleséget ad Benjáminnak!

Howbeit we may not give them wives of our daughters: for the children of Israel have sworn, saying, Cursed be he that giveth a wife to Benjamin.

Dar noi nu putem să dăm pe fetele noastre după ei, căci copiii lui Israel au jurat, zicând: „Blestemat să fie cine va da o nevastă unui beniamit!”

Yet we cannot give them wives from our daughters.” For the people of Israel had sworn, “Cursed be he who gives a wife to Benjamin.”

Ekkor ezt mondták: Íme, az ÚRnak esztendőnként való ünnepnapja lesz most Silóban, amely északra van Bételtől, kelet felé a Bételtől Sikem felé vivő országút mellett, Lebónától pedig délre.

És mondának: Ímé az Úrnak esztendőnként [való] ünnepnapja lesz most Silóban, a mely északra fekszik Bétheltől, napkelet felé az országút mellett, a mely Bétheltől Sikem felé visz, és délre Lebonától.

Then they said, Behold, there is a feast of the LORD in Shiloh yearly in a place which is on the north side of Bethel, on the east side of the highway that goeth up from Bethel to Shechem, and on the south of Lebonah.

Şi au zis: „Iată, în fiecare an este o sărbătoare a Domnului la Silo, care este la miazănoapte de Betel, la răsăritul drumului care suie din Betel la Sihem, şi la miazăzi de Lebona.”

So they said, “Behold, there is the yearly feast of the LORD at Shiloh, which is north of Bethel, on the east of the highway that goes up from Bethel to Shechem, and south of Lebonah.”

Ezt parancsolták tehát Benjámin fiainak: Menjetek el, és leselkedjetek a szőlőkben.

[Ezt] parancsolák azért a Benjámin fiainak: Menjetek el, és leselkedjetek a szőlőkben.

Therefore they commanded the children of Benjamin, saying, Go and lie in wait in the vineyards;

And they commanded the people of Benjamin, saying, “Go and lie in ambush in the vineyards

Ha látjátok, hogy jönnek Siló leányai, hogy táncoljanak a körtáncban, jöjjetek elő a szőlőkből, és ragadjon el magának mindenki feleséget Siló leányai közül, és menjetek el Benjámin földjére.

És ha látjátok, hogy jőnek Siló leányai a körtánczban tánczolni, akkor jőjjetek elő a szőlőkből, és vegyetek magatoknak kiki feleséget a Siló leányai közül, és menjetek el a Benjámin földére.

And see, and, behold, if the daughters of Shiloh come out to dance in dances, then come ye out of the vineyards, and catch you every man his wife of the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin.

Uitaţi-vă, şi când veţi vedea pe fetele din Silo ieşind să joace, să ieşiţi din vii, să vă luaţi fiecare câte o nevastă din fetele din Silo şi să vă duceţi în ţara lui Beniamin.

and watch. If the daughters of Shiloh come out to dance in the dances, then come out of the vineyards and snatch each man his wife from the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin.

Ha aztán apjuk vagy testvéreik hozzánk jönnek perelni, akkor azt mondjuk nekik: Könyörüljetek rajtuk érettünk, hiszen nem hozhattunk mindegyiknek feleséget a háborúból, és mivel nem ti adtátok nekik, most nem terhel vétek benneteket.

Ha aztán atyjaik vagy testvéreik hozzánk jőnek perlődni, akkor azt mondjuk nékik: Könyörüljetek rajtuk mi érettünk, mert nem hozhattunk mindeniknek feleséget ama hadból, és minthogy nem ti adtátok nékik, most [nem] vagytok vétkesek.

And it shall be, when their fathers or their brethren come unto us to complain, that we will say unto them, Be favourable unto them for our sakes: because we reserved not to each man his wife in the war: for ye did not give unto them at this time, that ye should be guilty.

Dacă părinţii sau fraţii lor vor veni să se plângă la noi, le vom spune: „Daţi-ni-le nouă, căci n-am luat câte o nevastă de fiecare în război. Nu voi li le-aţi dat: numai atunci aţi fi vinovaţi.”

And when their fathers or their brothers come to complain to us, we will say to them, ‘Grant them graciously to us, because we did not take for each man of them his wife in battle, neither did you give them to them, else you would now be guilty.’”

Így is cselekedtek Benjámin fiai, és feleséget szereztek számuknak megfelelően a táncolók közül úgy, hogy elrabolták őket. Azután elmentek, hazatértek örökségükbe, fölépítették a városokat, és azokban laktak.

És ekképen cselekedtek a Benjámin fiai, és vőnek feleségeket az ő számuk szerint a tánczolók közül, a kiket elraboltak. És elmentek, és hazatértek örökségükbe, és felépítették a városokat, és azokban laktak.

And the children of Benjamin did so, and took them wives, according to their number, of them that danced, whom they caught: and they went and returned unto their inheritance, and repaired the cities, and dwelt in them.

Fiii lui Beniamin au făcut aşa: şi-au luat neveste, după numărul lor, dintre jucătoarele pe care le-au răpit; apoi au plecat şi s-au întors în moştenirea lor; au zidit iarăşi cetăţile şi au locuit acolo.

And the people of Benjamin did so and took their wives, according to their number, from the dancers whom they carried off. Then they went and returned to their inheritance and rebuilt the towns and lived in them.

Izráel fiai pedig eltávoztak onnan abban az időben, mindegyik a maga törzséhez és háznépéhez. Elment onnan mindenki a maga örökségébe.

And the children of Israel departed thence at that time, every man to his tribe and to his family, and they went out from thence every man to his inheritance.

Ebben az időben nem volt király Izráelben, azért mindenki azt tette, ami jónak tűnt neki a maga szemében.

In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.
