Ezek pedig a pogányok, akiket meghagyott az ÚR, hogy azok által tegye próbára Izráelt, mindazokat, akik már nem élték át a Kánaánért folytatott harcokat.

Ezek pedig a pogányok, a kiket meghagyott az Úr, hogy azok által kísértse Izráelt, azokat a kik nem ismerték a Kanaánért való harczokat,

Now these are the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as had not known all the wars of Canaan;

Iată neamurile pe care le-a lăsat Domnul ca să încerce pe Israel prin ele, pe toţi cei ce nu cunoscuseră toate războaiele Canaanului.

Now these are the nations that the LORD left, to test Israel by them, that is, all in Israel who had not experienced all the wars in Canaan.

Csak azért, hogy Izráel fiainak újabb nemzedékei is megtanuljanak harcolni, azok is, akik azelőtt nem élték át azt.

Csak azért, hogy az Izráel fiainak nemzetségei megismerjék, hogy tanítsa őket hadakozásra, csak azokat, a kik azelőtt ezt nem tudták:

Only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at the least such as before knew nothing thereof;

El voia numai ca vârstele de oameni ale copiilor lui Israel să cunoască şi să înveţe războiul, şi anume cei ce nu-l cunoscuseră mai înainte.

It was only in order that the generations of the people of Israel might know war, to teach war to those who had not known it before.

A filiszteusok öt fejedelemsége, a kánaániak mindnyájan és a szidóniak meg a hivviek, akik a Libánon hegyvidékén laktak, a Baal-Hermón hegyétől a Hamátba vivő útig.

A Filiszteusok öt fejedelemsége, a Kananeusok mindnyájan, és a Sidoniusok, meg a Khivveusok, a kik a Libánon hegyén laknak, a Baálhermon hegyétől fogva Hamath bemeneteléig.

Namely, five lords of the Philistines, and all the Canaanites, and the Sidonians, and the Hivites that dwelt in mount Lebanon, from mount Baalhermon unto the entering in of Hamath.

Neamurile acestea erau cei cinci domnitori ai filistenilor, toţi canaaniţii, sidoniţii şi heviţii care locuiau în muntele Liban, de la muntele Baal-Hermon până la intrarea Hamatului.

These are the nations: the five lords of the Philistines and all the Canaanites and the Sidonians and the Hivites who lived on Mount Lebanon, from Mount Baal-hermon as far as Lebo-hamath.

Ezeket azért hagyta meg az ÚR, hogy próbára tegye Izráelt, hogy meglássa, vajon engedelmeskednek-e parancsainak, amelyeket atyáiknak parancsolt Mózes által.

Kik azért hagyattak meg, hogy megkísértse általok az Úr Izráelt, hogy meglássa, vajjon engedelmeskednek-é az Úr parancsolatainak melyeket parancsolt az ő atyáiknak Mózes által?

And they were to prove Israel by them, to know whether they would hearken unto the commandments of the LORD, which he commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses.

Neamurile acestea au slujit ca să pună pe Israel la încercare, pentru ca Domnul să vadă dacă vor asculta de poruncile pe care le dăduse părinţilor lor prin Moise.

They were for the testing of Israel, to know whether Israel would obey the commandments of the LORD, which he commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses.

Így Izráel fiai a kánaániak, hettiták, emóriak, perizziek, hivviek és jebúsziak között laktak.

Így az Izráel fiai a Kananeusok, Khitteusok, Emoreusok, Perizeusok, Khivveusok és Jebuzeusok között laktak,

And the children of Israel dwelt among the Canaanites, Hittites, and Amorites, and Perizzites, and Hivites, and Jebusites:

Şi copiii lui Israel au locuit în mijlocul canaaniţilor, hetiţilor, amoriţilor, fereziţilor, heviţilor şi iebusiţilor;

So the people of Israel lived among the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

Lányaikat feleségül vették, a saját leányaikat pedig odaadták az ő fiaiknak, és azok isteneit szolgálták.

And they took their daughters to be their wives, and gave their daughters to their sons, and served their gods.

Gonoszul cselekedtek Izráel fiai az ÚR szeme előtt. Elfelejtkeztek Istenükről, az ÚRról, és a Baaloknak és az Aséráknak szolgáltak.

És gonoszul cselekedtek az Izráel fiai az Úr szemei előtt, és elfelejtkezének az Úrról, az ő Istenökről, és a Baáloknak és Aseráknak szolgáltak.

And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves.

Copiii lui Israel au făcut ce nu plăcea Domnului, au uitat pe Domnul şi au slujit Baalilor şi idolilor.

And the people of Israel did what was evil in the sight of the LORD. They forgot the LORD their God and served the Baals and the Asheroth.

Ezért fölgerjedt az ÚR haragja Izráel ellen, és Kúsan-Risátaimnak, Mezopotámia királyának a kezébe adta őket, és nyolc évig szolgáltak Izráel fiai Kúsan-Risátaimnak.

Ezért felgerjedett az Úrnak haragja az Izráel ellen, és adá őket Kusán- Risathaimnak, Mesopotámia királyának kezébe, és nyolcz évig szolgáltak az Izráel fiai Kusán-Risathaimnak.

Therefore the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hand of Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia: and the children of Israel served Chushanrishathaim eight years.

Domnul S-a aprins de mânie împotriva lui Israel şi i-a vândut în mâinile lui Cuşan-Rişeataim,împăratul Mesopotamiei. Şi copiii lui Israel au fost supuşi opt ani lui Cuşan-Rişeataim.

Therefore the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he sold them into the hand of Cushan-rishathaim king of Mesopotamia. And the people of Israel served Cushan-rishathaim eight years.

Ekkor az ÚRhoz kiáltottak Izráel fiai, és az ÚR szabadítót támasztott Izráel fiainak, hogy megszabadítsa őket: Otniélt, Kenaz fiát, Káléb öccsét.

Ekkor az Úrhoz kiáltának az Izráel fiai, és az Úr szabadítót támasztott az Izráel fiainak, aki megszabadítá őket: Othnielt, Kénáz fiát, Káleb öcscsét.

And when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised up a deliverer to the children of Israel, who delivered them, even Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother.

Copiii lui Israel au strigat către Domnul, şi Domnul le-a ridicat un izbăvitor, care i-a izbăvit: pe Otniel, fiul lui Chenaz, fratele cel mai mic al lui Caleb.

But when the people of Israel cried out to the LORD, the LORD raised up a deliverer for the people of Israel, who saved them, Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb’s younger brother.

Az ÚR Lelke volt rajta, és így bíráskodott Izráelben. Amikor hadba indult, az ÚR a kezébe adta Kúsan-Risátaimot, Mezopotámia királyát, és kemény kézzel bánt el Kúsan-Risátaimmal.

És az Úrnak lelke vala ő rajta, és biráskodott Izráelben, és a mint kiméne a hadra, az Úr kezébe adta Kusán-Risathaimot, Mesopotámia királyát, és ránehezült keze Kusán-Risathaimra.

And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he judged Israel, and went out to war: and the LORD delivered Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand; and his hand prevailed against Chushanrishathaim.

Duhul Domnului a fost peste el. El a ajuns judecător în Israel şi a pornit la război. Domnul a dat în mâinile lui pe Cuşan-Rişeataim, împăratul Mesopotamiei, şi mâna Lui a fost puternică împotriva lui Cuşan-Rişeataim.

The Spirit of the LORD was upon him, and he judged Israel. He went out to war, and the LORD gave Cushan-rishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand. And his hand prevailed over Cushan-rishathaim.

Azután megnyugodott a föld negyven esztendeig. Akkor meghalt Otniél, Kenaz fia.

És megnyugovék a föld negyven esztendeig, és meghalt Othniel, a Kénáz fia.

And the land had rest forty years. And Othniel the son of Kenaz died.

Ţara a avut odihnă patruzeci de ani. Şi Otniel, fiul lui Chenaz, a murit.

So the land had rest for forty years. Then Othniel the son of Kenaz died.

De Izráel fiai ismét gonoszul cselekedtek az ÚR szeme előtt. Ezért hatalmassá tette az ÚR Eglónt, Móáb királyát Izráel fölött.

De az Izráel fiai ismét gonoszul cselekedének az Úr szemei előtt, és megerősítette az Úr Eglont, Moáb királyát Izráel ellen, azért, mert gonoszul cselekedtek az Úrnak szemei előtt.

And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD strengthened Eglon the king of Moab against Israel, because they had done evil in the sight of the LORD.

Copiii lui Israel au făcut iarăşi ce nu plăcea Domnului; şi Domnul a întărit pe Eglon, împăratul Moabului, împotriva lui Israel, pentru că făcuseră ce nu plăcea Domnului.

And the people of Israel again did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, and the LORD strengthened Eglon the king of Moab against Israel, because they had done what was evil in the sight of the LORD.

Ez magához gyűjtötte Ammón és Amálék fiait, és elment, megverte Izráelt, és elfoglalták a pálmák városát.

Ez magához gyűjtötte Ammonnak és Amáleknek fiait, és elment, és megverte Izráelt, és elfoglalták a pálmák városát.

And he gathered unto him the children of Ammon and Amalek, and went and smote Israel, and possessed the city of palm trees.

He gathered to himself the Ammonites and the Amalekites, and went and defeated Israel. And they took possession of the city of palms.

Izráel fiai tizennyolc esztendeig Eglónt, Móáb királyát szolgálták.

És szolgálák az Izráel fiai Eglont, a Moáb királyát tizennyolcz esztendeig.

So the children of Israel served Eglon the king of Moab eighteen years.

And the people of Israel served Eglon the king of Moab eighteen years.

Ekkor Izráel fiai ismét az ÚRhoz kiáltottak, és az ÚR szabadítót támasztott nekik: Éhúdot, a benjámini Gérá fiát, aki balkezes volt. Amikor Izráel fiai ajándékot küldtek általa Eglónnak, Móáb királyának,

Ekkor [megint] az Úrhoz kiáltottak Izráel fiai, és az Úr szabadítót támasztott nékik: Ehudot, Gérának fiát, ki Jemininek volt a fia, a ki suta volt. És mikor az Izráel fiai ajándékot küldének általa Eglonnak, Moáb királyának,

But when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised them up a deliverer, Ehud the son of Gera, a Benjamite, a man lefthanded: and by him the children of Israel sent a present unto Eglon the king of Moab.

Copiii lui Israel au strigat către Domnul, şi Domnul le-a ridicat un izbăvitor, pe Ehud, fiul lui Ghera, beniamitul, care nu se slujea de mâna dreaptă. Copiii lui Israel au trimis prin el un dar lui Eglon, împăratul Moabului.

Then the people of Israel cried out to the LORD, and the LORD raised up for them a deliverer, Ehud, the son of Gera, the Benjaminite, a left-handed man. The people of Israel sent tribute by him to Eglon the king of Moab.

Éhúd szerzett magának egy egykönyöknyi hosszú kétélű kardot és ruhája alatt a jobb csípőjére kötötte.

Ehud szerze magának egy kétélű kardot, egy singnyi hosszút, és azt az ő ruhája alatt a jobb tomporára övezé.

But Ehud made him a dagger which had two edges, of a cubit length; and he did gird it under his raiment upon his right thigh.

Ehud şi-a făcut o sabie cu două tăişuri, lungă de un cot, şi a încins-o pe sub haine, în partea dreaptă.

And Ehud made for himself a sword with two edges, a cubit in length, and he bound it on his right thigh under his clothes.

És bemutatta az ajándékot Eglónnak, Móáb királyának; Eglón pedig igen kövér ember volt.

És bemutatá az ajándékot Eglonnak, Moáb királyának. Eglon pedig igen kövér ember vala.

And he brought the present unto Eglon king of Moab: and Eglon was a very fat man.

A dat darul lui Eglon, împăratul Moabului: Eglon era un om foarte gras.

And he presented the tribute to Eglon king of Moab. Now Eglon was a very fat man.

Miután elvégezte az ajándék bemutatását, elbocsátotta az embereket, akik az ajándékot behozták.

És lőn, hogy mikor elvégezé az ajándék bemutatását, elbocsátá az embereket, a kik az ajándékot vitték vala.

And when he had made an end to offer the present, he sent away the people that bare the present.

Când a isprăvit de dat darul, a dat drumul oamenilor care-l aduseseră.

And when Ehud had finished presenting the tribute, he sent away the people who carried the tribute.

Ő maga pedig visszatért a Gilgálnál levő bálványszobroktól, és azt mondta: Titkos beszédem van veled, ó, király! Az így felelt: Hallgass! Ekkor kimentek előle mindnyájan, akik körülötte álltak.

Ő maga pedig visszatért a Gilgál közelében lévő kőbányáktól és monda: Titkos beszédem van veled, óh király! És ez monda: Hallgass! és kimenének előle mindnyájan, kik állanak vala körülötte.

But he himself turned again from the quarries that were by Gilgal, and said, I have a secret errand unto thee, O king: who said, Keep silence. And all that stood by him went out from him.

El însuşi s-a întors de la pietrăriile de lângă Ghilgal şi a zis: „Împărate, am să-ţi spun ceva în taină.” Împăratul a zis: „Tăcere!” Şi toţi cei ce erau lângă el au ieşit afară.

But he himself turned back at the idols near Gilgal and said, “I have a secret message for you, O king.” And he commanded, “Silence.” And all his attendants went out from his presence.

Éhúd akkor ment be hozzá, amikor a fenti hűs szobájában éppen egyedül ült. Éhúd ezt mondta neki: Istennek üzenete van hozzád rajtam keresztül. Ekkor az fölkelt a trónról.

És Ehud akkor ment be hozzá, mikor épen az ő hűsölő felházában ült magányosan, és monda Ehud néki: Istennek beszéde van nálam te hozzád. És fölkele [az] a királyi székből.

And Ehud came unto him; and he was sitting in a summer parlour, which he had for himself alone. And Ehud said, I have a message from God unto thee. And he arose out of his seat.

Ehud a început vorba cu el pe când stătea singur în odaia lui de vară şi a zis: „Am un cuvânt din partea lui Dumnezeu pentru tine.” Eglon s-a sculat de pe scaun.

And Ehud came to him as he was sitting alone in his cool roof chamber. And Ehud said, “I have a message from God for you.” And he arose from his seat.

Akkor Éhúd kinyújtotta a bal kezét, kirántotta jobb csípőjén levő kardját, és beledöfte annak hasába.

Akkor kinyújtá Ehud az ő balkezét, és kirántá kardját a jobb tomporáról, és beleüté azt annak hasába.

And Ehud put forth his left hand, and took the dagger from his right thigh, and thrust it into his belly:

Atunci Ehud a întins mâna stângă, a scos sabia din partea dreaptă şi i-a împlântat-o în pântece.

And Ehud reached with his left hand, took the sword from his right thigh, and thrust it into his belly.

Még a markolata is beszaladt a pengéje után, és a háj körülfogta a pengét, mert nem vonta ki a kardot a hasából, sőt a vékonyán is áthatolt.

És beméne még a markolatja is a vasa után és berekeszté a háj a fegyver vasát, mert nem vonta ki a kardot annak hasából, sőt átment annak vékonyán.

And the haft also went in after the blade; and the fat closed upon the blade, so that he could not draw the dagger out of his belly; and the dirt came out.

Chiar şi mânerul a intrat după fier, şi grăsimea s-a strâns în jurul fierului; căci n-a putut scoate sabia din pântece, ci a lăsat-o în trup aşa cum o înfipsese.

And the hilt also went in after the blade, and the fat closed over the blade, for he did not pull the sword out of his belly; and the dung came out.

Éhúd pedig kiment a csarnokba, miután behúzta maga után az emeleti szoba ajtószárnyait, és bezárta azokat.

Általméne pedig Ehud a csarnokon, minekutána bevonta maga után a felház ajtait, és bezárta.

Then Ehud went forth through the porch, and shut the doors of the parlour upon him, and locked them.

Ehud a ieşit prin tindă, a închis uşile de la odaia de sus după el şi a tras zăvorul.

Then Ehud went out into the porch and closed the doors of the roof chamber behind him and locked them.

Amikor elment, jöttek a szolgák, és látták, hogy íme, a fenti szoba ajtajai be vannak zárva, és ezt mondták: Bizonyára szükségét végzi a hűsölőszobában.

A mint ő kiméne, jövének annak szolgái, és láták, hogy ímé a felház ajtai be vannak zárva, és mondának: Bizonyára szükségét végzi a hűsölő kamarájában.

When he was gone out, his servants came; and when they saw that, behold, the doors of the parlour were locked, they said, Surely he covereth his feet in his summer chamber.

După ce a ieşit el, au venit slujitorii împăratului şi s-au uitat; şi iată că uşile odăii de sus erau închise cu zăvorul. Ei au zis: „Fără îndoială, îşi acoperă picioarele în odaia de vară.”

When he had gone, the servants came, and when they saw that the doors of the roof chamber were locked, they thought, “Surely he is relieving himself in the closet of the cool chamber.”

De mikor untig várakoztak, és senki nem nyitotta ki a fenti szoba ajtaját, fogták a kulcsot, kinyitották, és íme, ott feküdt uruk holtan a földön.

De mikor váltig várakoztak és ímé nem nyitotta meg a felház ajtaját, fogák a kulcsot és megnyiták: és ímé az ő urok ott feküdt a földön halva.

And they tarried till they were ashamed: and, behold, he opened not the doors of the parlour; therefore they took a key, and opened them: and, behold, their lord was fallen down dead on the earth.

Au aşteptat multă vreme; şi fiindcă el nu deschidea uşile odăii de sus, au luat cheia şi au descuiat; şi iată că stăpânul lor era mort, întins pe pământ.

And they waited till they were embarrassed. But when he still did not open the doors of the roof chamber, they took the key and opened them, and there lay their lord dead on the floor.

Éhúd pedig elmenekült, amíg azok késlekedtek, és elhaladva a bálványszobrok mellett, Szeirába futott.

Ehud pedig elmenekült vala, míg azok késedelmezének, és elhaladván a kőbányák mellett, Szeiráhba futott.

And Ehud escaped while they tarried, and passed beyond the quarries, and escaped unto Seirath.

Până să se dumirească ei, Ehud a luat-o la fugă, a trecut de pietrării şi a scăpat în Seira.

Ehud escaped while they delayed, and he passed beyond the idols and escaped to Seirah.

Amikor megérkezett, kürtjébe fújt Efraim hegyén, Izráel fiai pedig lementek a hegyről az ő vezetésével.

És a mikor [oda] megérkezett, kürtjébe fújt az Efraim hegyén, és alámenének ő vele az Izráel fiai a hegyről, és ő előttük.

And it came to pass, when he was come, that he blew a trumpet in the mountain of Ephraim, and the children of Israel went down with him from the mount, and he before them.

Cum a ajuns, a sunat din trâmbiţă în muntele lui Efraim. Copiii lui Israel s-au coborât cu el din munte, şi el s-a pus în fruntea lor.

When he arrived, he sounded the trumpet in the hill country of Ephraim. Then the people of Israel went down with him from the hill country, and he was their leader.

Ezt mondta nekik: Gyertek utánam, mert kezetekbe adta az ÚR ellenségeteket, Móábot. Erre levonultak utána, és elfoglalták a Jordán Móáb felé eső gázlóit, és senkit nem engedtek átkelni rajtuk.

És monda nékik: Jertek utánam, mert kezetekbe adta az Úr a ti ellenségeteket, Moábot. És levonultak ő utána, és elfoglalák a Jordán réveit, [melyek] Moáb felé [vezettek,] és nem engedtek azokon senkit általkelni.

And he said unto them, Follow after me: for the LORD hath delivered your enemies the Moabites into your hand. And they went down after him, and took the fords of Jordan toward Moab, and suffered not a man to pass over.

El le-a zis: „Veniţi după mine, căci Domnul a dat în mâinile voastre pe vrăjmaşii voştri moabiţi.” Ei s-au coborât după el, au pus stăpânire pe vadurile Iordanului, în faţa Moabului, şi n-au lăsat pe nimeni să treacă.

And he said to them, “Follow after me, for the LORD has given your enemies the Moabites into your hand.” So they went down after him and seized the fords of the Jordan against the Moabites and did not allow anyone to pass over.

Levágtak akkor a móábiak közül mintegy tízezer embert, mind erős és vitéz férfiakat úgy, hogy egy sem menekült meg.

És leöltek a Moábiták közül akkor mintegy tízezer embert, mind erős és vitéz férfiakat, úgy hogy egy sem menekült el.

And they slew of Moab at that time about ten thousand men, all lusty, and all men of valour; and there escaped not a man.

Au ucis atunci aproape zece mii de oameni din Moab, toţi voinici şi viteji, şi n-a scăpat unul.

And they killed at that time about 10,000 of the Moabites, all strong, able-bodied men; not a man escaped.

Így alázta meg Isten Móábot abban az időben Izráel keze által. És megnyugodott a föld nyolcvan esztendeig.

Így aláztatott meg Moáb abban az időben Izráel keze alatt. És megnyugovék a föld nyolczvan esztendeig.

So Moab was subdued that day under the hand of Israel. And the land had rest fourscore years.

În ziua aceea Moabul a fost smerit sub mâna lui Israel. Şi ţara a avut odihnă optzeci de ani.

So Moab was subdued that day under the hand of Israel. And the land had rest for eighty years.

Utána pedig Samgar, Anát fia volt a bíró, aki hatszáz filiszteus férfit ölt meg egy ökörösztökével. Ő is megszabadította Izráelt.

Ő utána pedig Sámgár, Anáthnak fia volt [bíró], a ki hatszáz Filiszteus férfiút ölt meg egy ökörösztökével, és megszabadítá ő is Izráelt.

And after him was Shamgar the son of Anath, which slew of the Philistines six hundred men with an ox goad: and he also delivered Israel.

După el a urmat Şamgar, fiul lui Anat. El a ucis şase sute de oameni dintre filisteni cu un otic de plug. Şi el a fost un izbăvitor al lui Israel.

After him was Shamgar the son of Anath, who killed 600 of the Philistines with an oxgoad, and he also saved Israel.
