Az efraimi férfiak pedig összegyűltek, átmentek északra, és azt mondták Jeftének: Miért szálltál harcba az ammóniakkal anélkül, hogy hívtál volna bennünket is, hogy veled menjünk? Most azért rád gyújtjuk a házadat.

Összegyűlének pedig az Efraim férfiai, és általmenének északra, és mondának Jeftének: Miért szállottál harczba az Ammon fiaival, és [miért] nem hívtál minket is, hogy menjünk veled? [Most azért] a te házadat megégetjük te veled együtt tűzzel.

And the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together, and went northward, and said unto Jephthah, Wherefore passedst thou over to fight against the children of Ammon, and didst not call us to go with thee? we will burn thine house upon thee with fire.

Bărbaţii lui Efraim s-au strâns, au pornit spre miazănoapte şi au zis lui Iefta: „Pentru ce te-ai dus să baţi pe fiii lui Amon, fără să ne fi chemat şi pe noi să mergem cu tine? Vrem să-ţi dăm foc casei şi să te ardem împreună cu ea.”

The men of Ephraim were called to arms, and they crossed to Zaphon and said to Jephthah, “Why did you cross over to fight against the Ammonites and did not call us to go with you? We will burn your house over you with fire.”

Jefte ezt felelte nekik: Nagy viszálykodásom volt Ammón fiaival, nekem és népemnek; hívtalak benneteket, de nem szabadítottatok meg a kezükből.

És monda Jefte nékik: Nagy háborúságunk volt, nékem és az én népemnek, az Ammon fiaival: és hívtalak titeket; de ti nem szabadítottatok meg engem az ő kezökből.

And Jephthah said unto them, I and my people were at great strife with the children of Ammon; and when I called you, ye delivered me not out of their hands.

Iefta le-a răspuns: „Eu şi poporul meu am avut mari certuri cu fiii lui Amon; şi când v-am chemat, nu m-aţi scăpat din mâinile lor.

And Jephthah said to them, “I and my people had a great dispute with the Ammonites, and when I called you, you did not save me from their hand.

És amikor láttam, hogy nem akartok segíteni, kockára tettem saját életemet, és megtámadtam az ammóniakat, az ÚR pedig kezembe adta őket. Most miért jöttetek hát föl hozzám, hogy harcoljatok ellenem?

És a mikor láttam, hogy ti nem [akartok] segíteni, koczkára vetém saját életemet, és általmenék az Ammon fiai ellen, az Úr pedig kezembe adta őket. És most miért jöttetek fel hozzám, hogy hadakozzatok én ellenem?

And when I saw that ye delivered me not, I put my life in my hands, and passed over against the children of Ammon, and the LORD delivered them into my hand: wherefore then are ye come up unto me this day, to fight against me?

Văzând că nu-mi vii în ajutor, mi-am pus viaţa în joc şi am pornit împotriva fiilor lui Amon. Domnul i-a dat în mâinile mele. Pentru ce vă suiţi, dar, azi împotriva mea ca să-mi faceţi război?”

And when I saw that you would not save me, I took my life in my hand and crossed over against the Ammonites, and the LORD gave them into my hand. Why then have you come up to me this day to fight against me?”

Ekkor összegyűjtötte Jefte Gileád minden férfiát, megtámadta Efraimot, és megverték őket, mert azt mondták: Efraim szökevényei vagytok ti mind, akik Gileádban, Efraim és Manassé között laktok.

És [ekkor] egybegyűjté Jefte Gileádnak minden férfiait, és megtámadta Efraimot, és megverték Gileád férfiai Efraimot, mert azt mondották: Efraim szökevényei vagytok ti, kik Gileádban, Efraim és Manassé között [laktok.]

Then Jephthah gathered together all the men of Gilead, and fought with Ephraim: and the men of Gilead smote Ephraim, because they said, Ye Gileadites are fugitives of Ephraim among the Ephraimites, and among the Manassites.

Iefta a strâns pe toţi bărbaţii Galaadului şi a început lupta cu Efraim. Bărbaţii Galaadului au bătut pe Efraim, pentru că efraimiţii ziceau: „Sunteţi nişte fugari ai lui Efraim! Galaadul este în mijlocul lui Efraim, în mijlocul lui Manase!”

Then Jephthah gathered all the men of Gilead and fought with Ephraim. And the men of Gilead struck Ephraim, because they said, “You are fugitives of Ephraim, you Gileadites, in the midst of Ephraim and Manasseh.”

Aztán elfoglalták a gileádiak Efraim előtt a Jordán gázlóit, és amikor az Efraim közül való menekülők azt mondták: „Hadd menjek át!”, azt kérdezték tőlük a gileádi férfiak: Efraimi vagy-e? Ha azt mondta, hogy nem,

And the Gileadites took the passages of Jordan before the Ephraimites: and it was so, that when those Ephraimites which were escaped said, Let me go over; that the men of Gilead said unto him, Art thou an Ephraimite? If he said, Nay;

Galaadiţii au pus mâna pe vadurile Iordanului dinspre Efraim. Şi când unul din fugarii lui Efraim zicea: „Lasă-mă să trec!”, bărbaţii Galaadului îl întrebau: „Eşti efraimit?” Dacă răspundea: „Nu”,

And the Gileadites captured the fords of the Jordan against the Ephraimites. And when any of the fugitives of Ephraim said, “Let me go over,” the men of Gilead said to him, “Are you an Ephraimite?” When he said, “No,”

akkor felszólították: Mondd: sibbólet! És ha szibbóletet mondott, mert nem tudta helyesen kimondani, akkor fogták és megölték a Jordán gázlóinál. Így esett el abban az időben negyvenkétezer efraimi.

Akkor azt mondák néki: Mondd: Sibboleth! És ha Szibbolethet mondott, mert nem tudta úgy kimondani, akkor megfogták őt és megölték a Jordán réveinél, és elesett ott abban az időben az Efraimbeliek közül negyvenkétezer.

Then said they unto him, Say now Shibboleth: and he said Sibboleth: for he could not frame to pronounce it right. Then they took him, and slew him at the passages of Jordan: and there fell at that time of the Ephraimites forty and two thousand.

atunci îi ziceau: „Ei bine, zi: Şibolet.” Şi el zicea: „Sibolet”, căci nu putea să-l spună bine. Atunci bărbaţii Galaadului îl apucau şi-l înjunghiau lângă vadurile Iordanului. Astfel au pierit în vremea aceea patruzeci şi două de mii de bărbaţi din Efraim.

they said to him, “Then say Shibboleth,” and he said, “Sibboleth,” for he could not pronounce it right. Then they seized him and slaughtered him at the fords of the Jordan. At that time 42,000 of the Ephraimites fell.

Jefte hat esztendeig volt Izráel bírája. Azután meghalt a gileádi Jefte, és eltemették városában, Gileádban.

Ítélé pedig Jefte Izráelt hat esztendeig, és meghalt Jefte, a Gileádbeli, és eltemetteték Gileád egyik városában.

And Jephthah judged Israel six years. Then died Jephthah the Gileadite, and was buried in one of the cities of Gilead.

Iefta a fost judecător în Israel zece ani; apoi Iefta, galaaditul, a murit şi a fost îngropat într-una din cetăţile Galaadului.

Őutána a betlehemi Ibcán volt Izráel bírája.

És ítélé ő utána az Izráelt Ibsán, ki Bethlehemből való volt.

And after him Ibzan of Bethlehem judged Israel.

După el, a fost judecător în Israel Ibţan din Betleem.

Neki harminc fia volt, és harminc leányát adta férjhez, s harminc leányt hozott fiainak, és hét esztendeig volt Izráel bírája.

Ennek harmincz fia volt és harmincz leányt házasított ki, és harmincz leányt hozott be kivül az ő fiainak, és itélé Izráelt hét esztendeig.

And he had thirty sons, and thirty daughters, whom he sent abroad, and took in thirty daughters from abroad for his sons. And he judged Israel seven years.

El a avut treizeci de fii, a măritat treizeci de fete în afară şi a adus pentru fiii lui treizeci de fete de afară. El a fost judecător în Israel şapte ani;

He had thirty sons, and thirty daughters he gave in marriage outside his clan, and thirty daughters he brought in from outside for his sons. And he judged Israel seven years.

Azután meghalt Ibcán, és eltemették Betlehemben.

És meghala Ibsán, és eltemetteték Bethlehemben.

Then died Ibzan, and was buried at Bethlehem.

Őutána a Zebulon nemzetségéből való Élón bíráskodott, és tíz esztendeig ítélte Izráelt.

És bíráskodék ő utána Élon Izráelben, ki a Zebulon nemzetségéből való volt, és ítélé Izráelt tíz esztendeig.

And after him Elon, a Zebulonite, judged Israel; and he judged Israel ten years.

După el a fost judecător în Israel Elon din Zabulon. El a fost judecător în Israel zece ani;

After him Elon the Zebulunite judged Israel, and he judged Israel ten years.

Azután meghalt a zebuloni Élón, és eltemették Ajjálónban, Zebulon földjén.

És meghalt Élon, a Zebulonbeli, és eltemetteték Ajalonban, Zebulon földén.

And Elon the Zebulonite died, and was buried in Aijalon in the country of Zebulun.

Then Elon the Zebulunite died and was buried at Aijalon in the land of Zebulun.

Őutána pedig Abdón, a pirátóni Hillél fia bíráskodott Izráelben.

And after him Abdon the son of Hillel, a Pirathonite, judged Israel.

După el, a fost judecător în Israel Abdon, fiul lui Hilel, piratonitul.

After him Abdon the son of Hillel the Pirathonite judged Israel.

Neki negyven fia és harminc unokája volt, akik hetven szamárcsikón nyargaltak. Nyolc esztendeig volt bírája Izráelnek.

Ennek negyven fia és harmincz unokája volt, kik hetven szamárcsikón nyargaltak, és ítélte Izráelt nyolcz esztendeig.

And he had forty sons and thirty nephews, that rode on threescore and ten ass colts: and he judged Israel eight years.

El a avut patruzeci de fii şi treizeci de nepoţi, care călăreau pe şaptezeci de mânji de măgari. El a fost judecător în Israel opt ani;

He had forty sons and thirty grandsons, who rode on seventy donkeys, and he judged Israel eight years.

Azután meghalt Abdón, a pirátóni Hillél fia, és eltemették Pirátónban, Efraim földjén, az amálékiek hegyvidékén.

És meghalt Abdon, a Pireathonita Hillel fia, és eltemetteték Pireathonban, Efraim földén, az Amálekiták hegységén.

And Abdon the son of Hillel the Pirathonite died, and was buried in Pirathon in the land of Ephraim, in the mount of the Amalekites.

apoi Abdon, fiul lui Hilel, piratonitul, a murit şi a fost îngropat la Piraton, în ţara lui Efraim, pe muntele amaleciţilor.

Then Abdon the son of Hillel the Pirathonite died and was buried at Pirathon in the land of Ephraim, in the hill country of the Amalekites.
