Ekkor így szólt Elizeus: Halljátok meg az ÚR beszédét! Ezt mondja az ÚR: Holnap ilyenkor egy köböl finomlisztet egy sékelért és két köböl árpát egy sékelért vesznek Samária kapujában.

És monda Elizeus: Halljátok meg az Úr beszédét. Ezt mondja az Úr: Holnap ilyenkor egy köböl zsemlyelisztet egy sikluson, és két köböl árpát egy sikluson vesznek Samaria kapujában.

Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.

Elisei a zis: „Ascultaţi cuvântul Domnului! Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Mâine, la ceasul acesta, se va vinde la poarta Samariei o măsură de floare de făină cu un siclu, şi două măsuri de orz, cu un siclu.”

But Elisha said, “Hear the word of the LORD: thus says the LORD, Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.”

Erre az egyik főember, akinek a kezére szokott támaszkodni a király, így szólt az Isten emberéhez: Csak ha az ÚR ablakot nyitna az égen, akkor lehetne ez. Erre így felelt Elizeus: Íme, látni fogod a saját szemeddel, de nem eszel belőle!

És felelvén egy főember, a kinek kezére támaszkodott a király, az Isten emberének, monda: Hacsak az Úr ablakokat nem csinál az égen; akkor meglehet? És monda [Elizeus:] Ímé, te szemeiddel meg fogod látni, de nem eszel belőle.

Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.

Călăreţul pe braţul căruia se rezema împăratul a răspuns omului lui Dumnezeu: „Chiar dacă ar face Domnul ferestre în cer, cum s-ar putea întâmpla un asemenea lucru?” Şi Elisei a zis: „Vei vedea cu ochii tăi: dar tu nu vei mânca din ele.”

Then the captain on whose hand the king leaned said to the man of God, “If the LORD himself should make windows in heaven, could this thing be?” But he said, “You shall see it with your own eyes, but you shall not eat of it.”

A kapu előtt pedig volt négy leprás férfi, akik ezt mondták egymásnak: Mire várunk itt, hogy éhen haljunk?

A kapu előtt pedig volt négy bélpoklos férfi, a kik mondák egymásnak: Miért maradunk itt, hogy meghaljunk [éhen]?

And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?

La intrarea porţii erau patru leproşi, care au zis unul către altul: „La ce să şedem aici până vom muri?

Now there were four men who were lepers at the entrance to the gate. And they said to one another, “Why are we sitting here until we die?

Ha úgy határoznánk, hogy bemegyünk a városba, ott is éhínség van, és akkor ott halunk meg. Ha pedig itt maradunk, akkor itt halunk meg. Gyertek, hát szökjünk át az arámok táborába. Ha meghagyják az életünket, élünk, ha megölnek, meghalunk.

Ha azt határozzuk is, hogy bemegyünk a városba, ott is inség van, és akkor ott halunk meg; ha pedig itt maradunk, akkor itt halunk meg; jertek el azért, szökjünk el a Siriabeliek táborába, ha meghagyják életünket, élünk, ha megölnek, meghalunk.

If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.

Dacă ne vom gândi să intrăm în cetate, în cetate este foamete, şi vom muri; şi dacă vom sta aici, de asemenea vom muri. Haidem, dar, să ne aruncăm în tabăra Sirienilor; dacă ne vor lăsa cu viaţă, vom trăi, iar dacă ne vor omorî, vom muri.”

If we say, ‘Let us enter the city,’ the famine is in the city, and we shall die there. And if we sit here, we die also. So now come, let us go over to the camp of the Syrians. If they spare our lives we shall live, and if they kill us we shall but die.”

És fölkeltek alkonyatkor, hogy az arámok táborába menjenek. Amikor odaértek az arámok táborának széléhez, íme, már nem volt ott senki!

És felkeltek alkonyatkor, hogy a Siriabeliek táborába menjenek; és mikor odaértek a Siriabeliek táborának széléhez, ímé már nem volt ott senki.

And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.

Au plecat, dar, în amurg să se ducă în tabăra sirienilor. Şi când au ajuns la intrarea taberei sirienilor, iată că nu era nimeni.

So they arose at twilight to go to the camp of the Syrians. But when they came to the edge of the camp of the Syrians, behold, there was no one there.

Mert az ÚR azt cselekedte, hogy az arámok tábora harci szekerek zörgését és lovak dobogását és nagy sereg robogását hallotta, és azt mondták egymásnak: Íme, Izráel királya fölbérelte ellenünk a hettiták királyait és az egyiptomiak királyait, hogy ellenünk jöjjenek!

Mert az Úr azt cselekedte volt, hogy a Siriabeliek tábora szekerek zörgését és lovak dobogását, és nagy sereg robogását hallotta, és mondának egymásnak: Ímé az Izráel királya bérbe fogadta meg ellenünk a Hitteusok királyit és az Égyiptombeliek királyit, hogy ellenünk jőjjenek.

For the LORD had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.

Domnul făcuse să se audă în tabăra sirienilor un vuiet de care şi un vuiet de cai, vuietul unei mari oştiri, şi îşi ziseseră unul către altul: „Împăratul lui Israel a tocmit împotriva noastră pe împăraţii hetiţilor şi pe împăraţii egiptenilor ca să vină să lupte împotriva noastră.”

For the Lord had made the army of the Syrians hear the sound of chariots and of horses, the sound of a great army, so that they said to one another, “Behold, the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Egypt to come against us.”

Ezért alkonyatkor fölkeltek, és futásnak eredtek, és elhagyták a sátraikat, lovaikat, szamaraikat, mind az egész tábort, ahogyan volt, és elfutottak, csak hogy életüket megmenthessék.

És felkelvén elfutának alkonyatkor, és elhagyák mind sátoraikat, mind lovaikat, mind szamaraikat, a mint a tábor volt, és elfutának, csakhogy életöket megmenthessék.

Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life.

Şi s-au sculat şi au luat-o la fugă în amurg. Şi-au lăsat corturile, caii şi măgarii, tabăra aşa cum era, şi au fugit ca să-şi scape viaţa.

So they fled away in the twilight and abandoned their tents, their horses, and their donkeys, leaving the camp as it was, and fled for their lives.

Mikor tehát ezek a leprások a tábor széléhez értek, bementek egy sátorba, ettek és ittak, majd vittek onnan az ezüstből, aranyból és a ruhákból, azután elmentek, és elrejtették azokat. Majd visszatértek, és egy másik sátorba is bementek, onnan is vittek, és elmentek, és elrejtették.

Mikor azért e bélpoklosok a tábor széléhez értek, bemenvén egy sátorba, evének és ivának, és elvivének onnét ezüstöt, aranyat és ruhákat, és elmenvén elrejték azokat; és megtérvén más sátorba menének be, és [abból] [is] hozának és elmenvén, elrejték.

And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it.

Leproşii, ajungând la intrarea taberei, au pătruns într-un cort, au mâncat şi au băut, au luat din el argint, aur şi haine, şi s-au dus şi le-au ascuns. S-au întors iarăşi, au pătruns într-un alt cort şi au luat şi de acolo lucruri pe care s-au dus şi le-au ascuns.

And when these lepers came to the edge of the camp, they went into a tent and ate and drank, and they carried off silver and gold and clothing and went and hid them. Then they came back and entered another tent and carried off things from it and went and hid them.

Majd így szóltak egymáshoz: Nem helyes, amit teszünk! Ez a mai nap az örömmondás napja. Ha hallgatunk, és megvárjuk a virradatot, büntetés ér minket. Most tehát gyertek, menjünk el, és mondjuk meg a király házának.

És monda egyik a másiknak: Nem igazán cselekszünk: ez a mai nap örömmondás napja, ha mi hallgatunk, és a virradatot megvárjuk, büntetés ér bennünket; most azért jertek és menjünk el, és mondjuk meg a király házának.

Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king's household.

Apoi şi-au zis unul altuia: „Nu facem bine! Ziua aceasta este o zi de veste bună. Dacă vom tăcea şi dacă vom aştepta până la lumina zilei de mâine, vom fi pedepsiţi. Veniţi acum şi haidem să dăm de ştire casei împăratului.”

Then they said to one another, “We are not doing right. This day is a day of good news. If we are silent and wait until the morning light, punishment will overtake us. Now therefore come; let us go and tell the king’s household.”

Akkor elmentek, és kiáltottak a város kapuőrségének, és ezt mondták nekik: Bementünk az arámok táborába, és íme, már nem volt ott senki! Emberek szava nem hallatszott, csak a lovak és szamarak voltak kikötve, és a sátrak úgy, ahogy voltak.

És elmenének, és kiáltának a város kapuján állónak, és elbeszélék nékik, mondván: Odamentünk volt a Siriabeliek táborába, és ímé már nem volt ott senki; emberek szava nem hallatszott, csak a lovak és szamarak vannak kikötve, és a sátorok úgy, a mint voltak.

So they came and called unto the porter of the city: and they told them, saying, We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no man there, neither voice of man, but horses tied, and asses tied, and the tents as they were.

Au plecat şi au chemat pe străjerii de la poarta cetăţii şi le-au spus aşa: „Am intrat în tabăra sirienilor, şi iată că nu este nimeni, nu se aude niciun glas de om; n-am găsit decât cai legaţi şi măgari legaţi, şi corturile aşa cum erau.”

So they came and called to the gatekeepers of the city and told them, “We came to the camp of the Syrians, and behold, there was no one to be seen or heard there, nothing but the horses tied and the donkeys tied and the tents as they were.”

Kiáltottak tehát a kapuőrök, és hírül adták mindezt ott benn a király házában.

Kiáltának azért a kapunállók, és hírré tevék ott benn a király házában.

And he called the porters; and they told it to the king's house within.

Străjerii de la poartă au strigat şi au trimis vestea aceasta înăuntrul casei împăratului.

Then the gatekeepers called out, and it was told within the king’s household.

A király fölkelt még az éjszaka, és azt mondta a szolgáinak: Megmondom nektek, mit csinálnak velünk az arámok. Tudják, hogy éhezünk, és csak azért mentek ki a táborból, hogy elrejtőzzenek a mezőn, mert ezt gondolják: Mikor kijönnek a városból, élve fogjuk el őket, és bemegyünk a városba.

És felkele éjszaka a király, és monda az ő szolgáinak: Megmondom néktek, mit csinálnak velünk a Siriabeliek. Tudják, hogy éhen vagyunk, és [csak] azért mentek ki a táborból, hogy elrejtőzzenek a mezőn, mondván: Mikor kijönnek a városból, megfogjuk őket elevenen, és bemegyünk a városba.

And the king arose in the night, and said unto his servants, I will now shew you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we be hungry; therefore are they gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, When they come out of the city, we shall catch them alive, and get into the city.

Împăratul s-a sculat noaptea şi a zis slujitorilor săi: „Vreau să vă spun ce ne fac sirienii. Fiindcă ştiu că suntem flămânzi, au părăsit tabăra ca să se ascundă în ogoare şi şi-au zis: „Când vor ieşi din cetate, îi vom prinde vii şi vom intra în cetate.”

And the king rose in the night and said to his servants, “I will tell you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we are hungry. Therefore they have gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the open country, thinking, ‘When they come out of the city, we shall take them alive and get into the city.’”

Akkor egyik szolgája így szólt: Fogjunk a városban megmaradt lovak közül ötöt. Ezek éppúgy, mint Izráel egész sokasága, megmaradnak, vagy éppúgy, mint Izráel egész sokasága, elpusztulnak. Küldjük ki őket, és nézzük, mi lesz!

Akkor felele egy az ő szolgái közül, és monda: Ki kell választani a megmaradt lovak közül, a melyek a városban megmaradtak, ötöt, - ímé épen olyanok ezek, mint Izráelnek egész sokasága, a mely megmaradt; ímé épen olyanok ezek, mint Izráel egész sokasága, a mely elpusztult, - és küldjük ki, hadd lássuk meg.

And one of his servants answered and said, Let some take, I pray thee, five of the horses that remain, which are left in the city, (behold, they are as all the multitude of Israel that are left in it: behold, I say, they are even as all the multitude of the Israelites that are consumed:) and let us send and see.

Unul din slujitorii împăratului a răspuns: „Să se ia cinci din caii care au mai rămas în cetate – li se va întâmpla doar cum s-a întâmplat la toată mulţimea lui Israel care a mai rămas, toată mulţimea lui Israel care se istoveşte – şi să trimitem să vedem ce se petrece.”

And one of his servants said, “Let some men take five of the remaining horses, seeing that those who are left here will fare like the whole multitude of Israel who have already perished. Let us send and see.”

Fogtak tehát két harci szekeret lovastul, és kiküldte azokat a király az arámok táborába e szavakkal: Menjetek el, és nézzétek meg.

És vevének két szekeret lovakkal, és kiküldé a király a siriaiak táborába, mondván: Menjetek el és nézzétek meg.

They took therefore two chariot horses; and the king sent after the host of the Syrians, saying, Go and see.

Au luat două care cu caii lor, şi împăratul a trimis nişte soli pe urmele oştirii sirienilor, zicând: „Duceţi-vă şi vedeţi.”

So they took two horsemen, and the king sent them after the army of the Syrians, saying, “Go and see.”

Ők tehát utánuk mentek egész a Jordánig, és íme, az egész út tele volt ruhákkal és edényekkel, amelyeket az arámok a sietségben eldobáltak. Amikor visszajöttek a követek, és elmondták ezt a királynak,

És mikor utánuk mentek egész a Jordánig, ímé az egész út rakva volt ruhákkal és edényekkel, a melyeket a siriaiak a sietségben elhánytak. És mikor visszajöttek a követek, és elmondák ezt a királynak:

And they went after them unto Jordan: and, lo, all the way was full of garments and vessels, which the Syrians had cast away in their haste. And the messengers returned, and told the king.

S-au dus după ei până la Iordan; şi iată că tot drumul era plin cu haine şi lucruri pe care le aruncaseră sirienii în goana lor. Solii s-au întors şi au spus împăratului.

So they went after them as far as the Jordan, and behold, all the way was littered with garments and equipment that the Syrians had thrown away in their haste. And the messengers returned and told the king.

And the people went out, and spoiled the tents of the Syrians. So a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the LORD.

Poporul a ieşit şi a jefuit tabăra sirienilor. Şi s-a vândut o măsură de floare de făină cu un siclu, şi două măsuri de orz, cu un siclu, după cuvântul Domnului.

Then the people went out and plundered the camp of the Syrians. So a seah of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the LORD.

A király pedig azt a főembert, akinek a kezére szokott támaszkodni, odarendelte a kapuhoz. A nép azonban eltaposta őt a kapuban, és meghalt, amint Isten embere megmondotta, aki megjövendölte ezt, amikor a király lement hozzá.

A király pedig azt a főembert, a kinek kezére [szokott ]támaszkodni, oda rendelte a kapuhoz. És a nép eltapodá őt a kapuban, és meghala, a mint az Isten embere megmondotta, a ki megjövendölte ezt, mikor a király lement hozzá.

And the king appointed the lord on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate: and the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died, as the man of God had said, who spake when the king came down to him.

Împăratul încredinţase paza porţii în mâna călăreţului pe braţul căruia se rezemase atunci. Dar călăreţul acesta a fost călcat în picioare de popor la poartă şi a murit, după cuvântul pe care-l rostise omul lui Dumnezeu, când se coborâse împăratul la el.

Now the king had appointed the captain on whose hand he leaned to have charge of the gate. And the people trampled him in the gate, so that he died, as the man of God had said when the king came down to him.

Úgy történt, ahogy Isten embere a királynak jövendölte: Két köböl árpát egy sékelért és egy köböl finomlisztet egy sékelért adnak másnap ilyenkor Samária kapujában.

Úgy történt, a mint az Isten embere a királynak jövendölte: Két köböl árpát egy sikluson és egy köböl zsemlyelisztet egy sikluson adnak holnap ilyenkor Samaria kapujában.

And it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be to morrow about this time in the gate of Samaria:

Omul lui Dumnezeu spusese atunci împăratului: „Mâine, la ceasul acesta, se vor vinde la poarta Samariei două măsuri de orz cu un siclu, şi o măsură de floare de făină, cu un siclu.”

For when the man of God had said to the king, “Two seahs of barley shall be sold for a shekel, and a seah of fine flour for a shekel, about this time tomorrow in the gate of Samaria,”

És ezt felelte a főember Isten emberének: Csak ha az ÚR ablakot nyitna az égen, akkor lehetne ez. Ő azt felelte rá: Íme, látni fogod a saját szemeddel, de nem eszel belőle.

És ezt felelte volt a főember az Isten emberének, mondván: Hacsak az Úr ablakokat nem csinál az égen; akkor meglehet? és ő azt mondotta rá: Ímé te szemeiddel meg fogod látni; de nem eszel belőle.

And that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, if the LORD should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.

Iar călăreţul răspunsese omului lui Dumnezeu: „Chiar dacă ar face Domnul ferestre în cer, cum s-ar putea întâmpla un asemenea lucru?” Şi Elisei zisese: „Vei vedea cu ochii tăi; dar tu nu vei mânca din ele.”

the captain had answered the man of God, “If the LORD himself should make windows in heaven, could such a thing be?” And he had said, “You shall see it with your own eyes, but you shall not eat of it.”

És egészen úgy történt, mert eltaposta őt a nép a kapuban, és meghalt.

És teljesen így történt vele, mert eltapodá őt a nép a kapuban és meghalt.

And so it fell out unto him: for the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died.

În adevăr aşa i s-a şi întâmplat: a fost călcat în picioare la poartă de popor şi a murit.

And so it happened to him, for the people trampled him in the gate and he died.
