Jéhú hetedik évében tették királlyá Jóást, és negyven esztendeig uralkodott Jeruzsálemben. Anyja neve Cibjá volt, és Beérsebából származott.

Jéhunak hetedik esztendejében tették Joást királylyá, és negyven esztendeig uralkodott Jeruzsálemben; az ő anyjának pedig Sibja vala neve, a ki Beersebából való volt.

In the seventh year of Jehu Jehoash began to reign; and forty years reigned he in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Zibiah of Beersheba.

Ioas s-a făcut împărat în al şaptelea an al lui Iehu şi a domnit patruzeci de ani la Ierusalim. Mama sa se chema Ţibia, din Beer-Şeba.

In the seventh year of Jehu, Jehoash began to reign, and he reigned forty years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Zibiah of Beersheba.

Jóás az ÚR szemében kedves dolgot cselekedett mindaddig, amíg Jójádá pap oktatta őt.

És cselekedék Joás kedves dolgot az Úr szemei előtt mindaddig, a míg Jójada pap oktatá őt;

And Jehoash did that which was right in the sight of the LORD all his days wherein Jehoiada the priest instructed him.

Ioas a făcut ce este plăcut înaintea Domnului, în tot timpul cât a urmat îndrumările preotului Iehoiada.

And Jehoash did what was right in the eyes of the LORD all his days, because Jehoiada the priest instructed him.

De a magaslatok oltárait nem rontatták le, a nép még mindig ott áldozott és tömjénezett a magaslatok oltárain.

But the high places were not taken away: the people still sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places.

Nevertheless, the high places were not taken away; the people continued to sacrifice and make offerings on the high places.

Jóás megparancsolta a papoknak, hogy minden pénzt, amelyet Istennek szentelnek és az ÚR házába bevisznek, a megszámlálás pénzét és a személyek váltságának pénzét is, azt is, amelyet ki-ki szabad akarata szerint az ÚR házába bevisz,

És megparancsolá Joás a papoknak, hogy minden pénzt, a mely Istennek szenteltetik és az Úr házába bevitetik, mind a megszámlálás pénzét és a személyek váltságának pénzét, mind pedig, a melyet kiki szabad akaratja szerint az Úr házához bevisz.

And Jehoash said to the priests, All the money of the dedicated things that is brought into the house of the LORD, even the money of every one that passeth the account, the money that every man is set at, and all the money that cometh into any man's heart to bring into the house of the LORD,

Ioas a zis preoţilor: „Tot argintul închinat şi adus în Casa Domnului, argintul ieşit la numărătoare, şi anume argintul pentru răscumpărarea oamenilor, după preţuirea făcută, şi tot argintul pe care-i spune cuiva inima să-l aducă la Casa Domnului,

Jehoash said to the priests, “All the money of the holy things that is brought into the house of the LORD, the money for which each man is assessed—the money from the assessment of persons—and the money that a man’s heart prompts him to bring into the house of the LORD,

vegyék magukhoz a papok, mindegyik a maga ismerősétől, és javíttassák ki az ÚR házának rongálódásait mindenütt, ahol romlást látnak rajta.

Vegyék magokhoz a papok, mindenik a maga ismerősétől, és építsék meg az [Úr] házának romlásait mindenütt, a hol romlást látnak rajta.

Let the priests take it to them, every man of his acquaintance: and let them repair the breaches of the house, wheresoever any breach shall be found.

preoţii să-l ia fiecare de la cei pe care-i cunoaşte şi să-l întrebuinţeze la dregerea Casei, oriunde se va găsi ceva de dres.”

let the priests take, each from his donor, and let them repair the house wherever any need of repairs is discovered.”

De mikor Jóás király huszonharmadik esztendejéig sem javították ki a papok az ÚR házának romlásait,

De mikor Joás király huszonharmadik esztendejéig sem építették meg a papok az [Úr] házának romlásait,

But it was so, that in the three and twentieth year of king Jehoash the priests had not repaired the breaches of the house.

Dar s-a întâmplat că, în al douăzeci şi treilea an al împăratului Ioas, preoţii încă nu dreseseră stricăciunile Casei.

But by the twenty-third year of King Jehoash, the priests had made no repairs on the house.

előhívatta Jóás király Jójádá papot a többi pappal együtt, és megkérdezte őket: Miért nem javítjátok ki az ÚR házának romlásait? Ezután nem vehetitek magatokhoz ismerőseitek pénzét, hanem oda kell adnotok a templom rongálódásainak kijavítására!

Előhivatta Joás király Jójada papot a többi papokkal együtt, és monda nékik: Miért nem építitek meg az [Úr] házának romlásait? Ezután ne vegyétek a pénzt magatokhoz a ti ismerőseitektől, hanem az Úr háza romlásainak építésére adjátok azt.

Then king Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest, and the other priests, and said unto them, Why repair ye not the breaches of the house? now therefore receive no more money of your acquaintance, but deliver it for the breaches of the house.

Împăratul Ioas a chemat pe preotul Iehoiada şi pe ceilalţi preoţi şi le-a zis: „Pentru ce n-aţi dres stricăciunile Casei? Acum, să nu mai luaţi argint de la cunoscuţii voştri, ci să-l daţi pentru dregerea stricăciunilor Casei.”

Therefore King Jehoash summoned Jehoiada the priest and the other priests and said to them, “Why are you not repairing the house? Now therefore take no more money from your donors, but hand it over for the repair of the house.”

A papok beleegyeztek, hogy többé semmi pénzt sem fogadnak el a néptől, de a ház rongálódásainak javításáról mégsem gondoskodtak.

And the priests consented to receive no more money of the people, neither to repair the breaches of the house.

Preoţii s-au învoit să nu mai ia argint de la popor şi să nu mai fie însărcinaţi cu dregerea stricăciunilor Casei.

So the priests agreed that they should take no more money from the people, and that they should not repair the house.

Jójádá pap vett egy ládát, a fedelén csinált egy nyílást, és az oltár mellé helyezte jobb felől, amerről az ÚR házába bemennek, hogy abba töltsenek a papok, a templom küszöbének őrzői minden pénzt, amelyet az ÚR házába hoznak.

És Jójada pap vett egy ládát, és annak a fedelén csinált egy nyílást, és helyhezteté azt az oltár mellé jobbfelől, a mely felől az Úr házába bemennek, hogy abba töltsenek a papok, a [templom] küszöbinek őrizői minden pénzt, a melyet az Úr házába hoznak.

But Jehoiada the priest took a chest, and bored a hole in the lid of it, and set it beside the altar, on the right side as one cometh into the house of the LORD: and the priests that kept the door put therein all the money that was brought into the house of the LORD.

Atunci preotul Iehoiada a luat o ladă, i-a făcut o gaură în capac şi a pus-o lângă altar, la dreapta, în drumul pe unde se intra în Casa Domnului. Preoţii care păzeau pragul puneau în ea tot argintul care se aducea în Casa Domnului.

Then Jehoiada the priest took a chest and bored a hole in the lid of it and set it beside the altar on the right side as one entered the house of the LORD. And the priests who guarded the threshold put in it all the money that was brought into the house of the LORD.

Amikor látták, hogy sok pénz van a ládában, fölment a király íródeákja a főpappal együtt, csomóba kötötték és megszámlálták az ÚR házában talált pénzt.

And it was so, when they saw that there was much money in the chest, that the king's scribe and the high priest came up, and they put up in bags, and told the money that was found in the house of the LORD.

Când vedeau că este mult argint în ladă, se suia logofătul împăratului cu marele preot, şi strângeau şi numărau argintul care se afla în Casa Domnului.

And whenever they saw that there was much money in the chest, the king’s secretary and the high priest came up and they bagged and counted the money that was found in the house of the LORD.

And they gave the money, being told, into the hands of them that did the work, that had the oversight of the house of the LORD: and they laid it out to the carpenters and builders, that wrought upon the house of the LORD,

Încredinţau argintul cântărit în mâinile celor însărcinaţi cu facerea lucrărilor în Casa Domnului. Şi dădeau argintul acesta teslarilor şi lucrătorilor care lucrau la Casa Domnului,

Then they would give the money that was weighed out into the hands of the workmen who had the oversight of the house of the LORD. And they paid it out to the carpenters and the builders who worked on the house of the LORD,

és a kőműveseknek és a kőfaragóknak fa és faragott kő vásárlására, az ÚR háza rongálódásainak kijavítására és mindarra, ami a templom javítására szükséges volt.

And to masons, and hewers of stone, and to buy timber and hewed stone to repair the breaches of the house of the LORD, and for all that was laid out for the house to repair it.

and to the masons and the stonecutters, as well as to buy timber and quarried stone for making repairs on the house of the LORD, and for any outlay for the repairs of the house.

De abból a pénzből, amelyet bevittek az ÚR házába, nem csináltattak az ÚR házához sem ezüstpoharakat, sem késeket, sem medencéket, sem trombitákat, sem bármi más arany- vagy ezüstedényt,

De abból a pénzből, a melyet bevittek az Úr házába, nem csináltattak az Úr házához sem ezüst poharakat, sem késeket, sem medenczéket, sem trombitákat, sem valami egyéb arany vagy ezüst edényt.

Howbeit there were not made for the house of the LORD bowls of silver, snuffers, basons, trumpets, any vessels of gold, or vessels of silver, of the money that was brought into the house of the LORD:

Dar, cu argintul care se aducea în Casa Domnului, n-au făcut pentru Casa Domnului nici lighene de argint, nici mucări, nici potire, nici trâmbiţe, niciun vas de aur sau de argint:

But there were not made for the house of the LORD basins of silver, snuffers, bowls, trumpets, or any vessels of gold, or of silver, from the money that was brought into the house of the LORD,

But they gave that to the workmen, and repaired therewith the house of the LORD.

ci îl dădeau celor ce făceau lucrarea, ca să-l întrebuinţeze pentru dregerea Casei Domnului.

for that was given to the workmen who were repairing the house of the LORD with it.

Nem számoltatták el azokat az embereket, akikre rábízták a pénzt, hogy átadják a munkavezetőknek, mivel azok hűségesen jártak el.

Számot sem vettek azoktól az emberektől, a kiknek keze által kiadták a pénzt a munkásoknak, mert híven jártak el.

Moreover they reckoned not with the men, into whose hand they delivered the money to be bestowed on workmen: for they dealt faithfully.

Nu se cerea socoteală oamenilor în mâinile cărora dădeau argintul ca să-l împartă lucrătorilor, căci lucrau cinstit.

And they did not ask for an accounting from the men into whose hand they delivered the money to pay out to the workmen, for they dealt honestly.

The trespass money and sin money was not brought into the house of the LORD: it was the priests'.

The money from the guilt offerings and the money from the sin offerings was not brought into the house of the LORD; it belonged to the priests.

Ebben az időben vonult fel Hazáél, Arám királya, és megszállta Gátot és be is vette. Azután megfordult Hazáél, hogy Jeruzsálem ellen menjen.

Then Hazael king of Syria went up, and fought against Gath, and took it: and Hazael set his face to go up to Jerusalem.

Atunci Hazael, împăratul Siriei, s-a suit şi s-a bătut împotriva Gatului şi l-a cucerit. Hazael avea de gând să se suie împotriva Ierusalimului.

At that time Hazael king of Syria went up and fought against Gath and took it. But when Hazael set his face to go up against Jerusalem,

De Jóás, Júda királya vette az összes megszentelt ajándékot, amelyeket atyái, Jósáfát, Jórám és Ahazjá, Júda királyai az ÚRnak szenteltek, és amelyeket ő maga szentelt neki, és minden aranyat, amely az ÚR házának és a királyi palotának a kincsei között található volt, és elküldte Hazáélnak, Arám királyának, mire ő elvonult Jeruzsálem alól.

And Jehoash king of Judah took all the hallowed things that Jehoshaphat, and Jehoram, and Ahaziah, his fathers, kings of Judah, had dedicated, and his own hallowed things, and all the gold that was found in the treasures of the house of the LORD, and in the king's house, and sent it to Hazael king of Syria: and he went away from Jerusalem.

Ioas, împăratul lui Iuda, a luat toate lucrurile închinate Domnului, şi anume ce fusese închinat Domnului de Iosafat, de Ioram şi de Ahazia, părinţii săi, împăraţii lui Iuda, ce închinase el însuşi şi tot aurul care se găsea în vistieriile Casei Domnului şi casei împăratului. Şi a trimis totul lui Hazael, împăratul Siriei, care nu s-a suit împotriva Ierusalimului.

Jehoash king of Judah took all the sacred gifts that Jehoshaphat and Jehoram and Ahaziah his fathers, the kings of Judah, had dedicated, and his own sacred gifts, and all the gold that was found in the treasuries of the house of the LORD and of the king’s house, and sent these to Hazael king of Syria. Then Hazael went away from Jerusalem.

Szolgái azonban föllázadtak, és pártot ütöttek ellene, és megölték Jóást Bét-Millóban, amerre Szillába megy le az ember.

And his servants arose, and made a conspiracy, and slew Joash in the house of Millo, which goeth down to Silla.

Józákár, Simeát fia és Jehózábád, Sómér fia, az ő szolgái ölték meg őt, és meghalt. Majd atyáihoz temették a Dávid városában. Utána fia, Amacjá lett a király.

For Jozachar the son of Shimeath, and Jehozabad the son of Shomer, his servants, smote him, and he died; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Amaziah his son reigned in his stead.

It was Jozacar the son of Shimeath and Jehozabad the son of Shomer, his servants, who struck him down, so that he died. And they buried him with his fathers in the city of David, and Amaziah his son reigned in his place.
