Naamán, az arámok királyának fővezére igen tekintélyes és nagyra becsült férfi volt ura előtt, mert általa szabadította meg az ÚR Arámot. Ez a férfi vitéz hős volt, de leprás.

És Naámán, a siriai király seregének fővezére, az ő ura előtt igen nagy férfiú és nagyrabecsült volt, mert általa szabadította volt meg az Úr Siriát; és az a férfi vitéz hős, [de] bélpoklos volt.

Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper.

Naaman, căpetenia oştirii împăratului Siriei, avea trecere înaintea stăpânului său şi mare vază; căci prin el izbăvise Domnul pe sirieni. Dar omul acesta tare şi viteaz era lepros.

Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master and in high favor, because by him the LORD had given victory to Syria. He was a mighty man of valor, but he was a leper.

Egyszer portyázó csapatok mentek ki Arámból, és foglyul ejtettek egy kislányt Izráel országából, aki Naamán feleségének szolgálója lett.

[Egyszer] portyázó csapatok mentek ki Siriából, és azok Izráel országából egy kis leányt vittek el foglyul, és ez Naámán feleségének szolgált.

And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman's wife.

Şi sirienii ieşiseră în cete la o luptă şi aduseseră roabă pe o fetiţă din ţara lui Israel. Ea era în slujba nevestei lui Naaman.

Now the Syrians on one of their raids had carried off a little girl from the land of Israel, and she worked in the service of Naaman’s wife.

Egyszer azt mondta asszonyának: Bárcsak eljuthatna az én uram ahhoz a prófétához, aki Samáriában van! Bizonyosan meggyógyítaná őt bélpoklosságából!

És monda ez az ő asszonyának: Vajha az én uram szembe lenne azzal a prófétával, a ki Samariában [van,] kétség nélkül meggyógyítaná őt az ő bélpoklosságából.

And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.

Şi ea a zis stăpânei sale: „Of, dacă domnul meu ar fi la prorocul acela din Samaria, prorocul l-ar tămădui de lepra lui!”

She said to her mistress, “Would that my lord were with the prophet who is in Samaria! He would cure him of his leprosy.”

Naamán bement, és elmondta az urának: Így és így szólt az Izráel országából való leány.

És [Naámán] beméne, és elbeszélé az ő urának, mondván: Így s így szólott az Izráel országából való leány!

And one went in, and told his lord, saying, Thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of Israel.

Naaman s-a dus şi a spus stăpânului său: „Fata aceea din ţara lui Israel a vorbit aşa şi aşa.”

So Naaman went in and told his lord, “Thus and so spoke the girl from the land of Israel.”

Ekkor azt mondta Arám királya: Menj el, én pedig levelet küldök Izráel királyának. Elment tehát, és magával vitt tíz talentum ezüstöt és hatezer aranyat, azonkívül pedig tíz öltözet ruhát.

Akkor monda Siria királya: Menj el, és ím levelet küldök az Izráel királyának. Elméne azért és vőn magával tíz tálentom ezüstöt és hatezer aranyat, azon felül tíz öltöző ruhát.

And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment.

Şi împăratul Siriei a zis: „Du-te la Samaria, şi voi trimite o scrisoare împăratului lui Israel.” A plecat, luând cu el zece talanţi de argint, şase mii de sicli de aur şi zece haine de schimb.

And the king of Syria said, “Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” So he went, taking with him ten talents of silver, six thousand shekels of gold, and ten changes of clothing.

Átadta Izráel királyának a levelet, amely így szólt: Mikor ez a levél hozzád érkezik, kérlek, hogy gyógyítsd meg a leprából az én szolgámat, Naamánt, akit hozzád küldtem.

És elvivé a levelet az Izráel királyának, ezt írván: Mikor e levél hozzád érkezik, ímé az én szolgámat, Naámánt azért küldöttem hozzád, hogy őt gyógyítsd meg bélpoklosságából.

And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, Now when this letter is come unto thee, behold, I have therewith sent Naaman my servant to thee, that thou mayest recover him of his leprosy.

A dus împăratului lui Israel scrisoarea, care glăsuia aşa: „Acum, când vei primi scrisoarea aceasta, vei şti că îţi trimit pe slujitorul meu Naaman, ca să-l vindeci de lepra lui.”

And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, which read, “When this letter reaches you, know that I have sent to you Naaman my servant, that you may cure him of his leprosy.”

Amikor Izráel királya elolvasta a levelet, megszaggatta ruháját, és azt mondta: Hát Isten vagyok-e én, aki megölhet és megeleveníthet, hogy hozzám küldi ezt az embert, hogy gyógyítsam meg a leprából? Vegyétek észre, és figyeljétek, hogy csak okot keres ellenem.

De a mikor elolvasta az Izráel királya a levelet, megszaggatá az ő ruháit és monda: Isten vagyok-e én, hogy öljek és elevenítsek, hogy ez én hozzám küld, hogy gyógyítsam meg e férfiút az ő bélpoklosságából? Vegyétek eszetekbe és lássátok, hogy csak okot keres ellenem.

And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me.

După ce a citit scrisoarea, împăratul lui Israel şi-a rupt hainele şi a zis: „Oare sunt eu Dumnezeu, ca să omor şi să înviez, de-mi spune să vindec pe un om de lepra lui? Să ştiţi dar, şi să înţelegeţi că el caută prilej de ceartă cu mine.”

And when the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his clothes and said, “Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man sends word to me to cure a man of his leprosy? Only consider, and see how he is seeking a quarrel with me.”

Amikor Elizeus, Isten embere meghallotta, hogy Izráel királya megszaggatta ruháját, ezt az üzenetet küldte a királynak: Miért szaggattad meg ruhádat? Hadd jöjjön hozzám, és tudja meg az az ember, hogy van próféta Izráelben.

Mikor pedig meghallotta Elizeus, az Isten embere, hogy az Izráel királya ruháit megszaggatta, külde a királyhoz ilyen izenettel: Miért szaggattad meg a te ruháidat? Hadd jőjjön hozzám, és tudja meg, hogy van próféta Izráelben.

And it was so, when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.

Când a auzit Elisei, omul lui Dumnezeu, că împăratul lui Israel şi-a sfâşiat hainele, a trimis să spună împăratului: „Pentru ce ţi-ai sfâşiat hainele? Lasă-l să vină la mine şi va şti că este un proroc în Israel.”

But when Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes, he sent to the king, saying, “Why have you torn your clothes? Let him come now to me, that he may know that there is a prophet in Israel.”

Akkor elment Naamán lovaival és kocsijával, és megállt Elizeus házának a bejáratánál.

És elméne Naámán lovaival és szekereivel, és megálla az Elizeus házának ajtaja előtt.

So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha.

So Naaman came with his horses and chariots and stood at the door of Elisha’s house.

Elizeus egy követet küldött hozzá ezzel az üzenettel: Menj el, és fürödj meg hétszer a Jordánban, és megújul a tested, és megtisztulsz.

És külde Elizeus követet ő hozzá, mondván: Menj el és fürödj meg hétszer a Jordánban, és megújul a te tested, és megtisztulsz.

And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.

Elisei a trimis să-i spună printr-un sol: „Du-te şi scaldă-te de şapte ori în Iordan; şi carnea ţi se va face sănătoasă şi vei fi curat.”

And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, “Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored, and you shall be clean.”

Akkor megharagudott Naamán, elment, és azt mondta: Íme, én azt gondoltam, hogy kijön hozzám, és elém állva segítségül hívja az ÚRnak, az ő Istenének nevét, kezével megérinti a beteg helyeket, és úgy gyógyítja meg a kiütést.

Akkor megharaguvék Naámán és elment, és így szólt: Íme én azt gondoltam, hogy kijő hozzám, és előállván, segítségül hívja az Úrnak, az ő Istenének nevét, és kezével megilleti a [beteg] helyeket, és úgy gyógyítja meg a kiütést.

But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.

Naaman s-a mâniat şi a plecat, zicând: „Eu credeam că va ieşi la mine, se va înfăţişa el însuşi, va chema Numele Domnului Dumnezeului lui, îşi va duce mâna pe locul rănii şi va vindeca lepra.

But Naaman was angry and went away, saying, “Behold, I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call upon the name of the LORD his God, and wave his hand over the place and cure the leper.

Hát nem jobbak-e Damaszkusz folyói, Abáná és Parpar Izráel minden vizénél? Hát nem fürödhetnék-e meg azokban, hogy megtisztuljak? Azzal megfordult, és nagy haraggal elment.

Avagy nem jobbak-é Abana és Párpár, Damaskus folyóvizei Izráel minden vizeinél? Avagy nem fürödhetném-é meg azokban, hogy megtisztuljak? Ilyen módon megfordulván, nagy haraggal elment.

Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.

Nu sunt oare râurile Damascului, Abana şi Parpar, mai bune decât toate apele lui Israel? N-aş fi putut oare să mă spăl în ele şi să mă fac curat?” Şi s-a întors şi a plecat plin de mânie.

Are not Abana and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?” So he turned and went away in a rage.

De hozzá mentek a szolgái, és azt mondták neki: Atyám, ha valami nagy dolgot parancsolt volna neked ez a próféta, vajon nem tetted volna meg? Mennyivel inkább megteheted, amikor csak azt mondja, hogy fürödj meg, és megtisztulsz!

De hozzá menének az ő szolgái, és szólának néki, mondván: Atyám, ha valami nagy dolgot mondott volna e próféta neked, avagy nem tetted volna-é meg? Mennyivel inkább, a mikor [csak] azt mondja, hogy fürödj meg és megtisztulsz?

And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?

Dar slujitorii lui s-au apropiat să-i vorbească şi au zis: „Părinte, dacă prorocul ţi-ar fi cerut un lucru greu, nu l-ai fi făcut? Cu atât mai mult trebuie să faci ce ţi-a spus: „Scaldă-te, şi vei fi curat.”

But his servants came near and said to him, “My father, it is a great word the prophet has spoken to you; will you not do it? Has he actually said to you, ‘Wash, and be clean’?”

Elment tehát, és az Isten emberének beszéde szerint hétszer megmerítkezett a Jordánban. És megújult a teste, mint egy kisgyermek teste, és megtisztult.

Beméne azért a Jordánba, és belemeríté magát abba hétszer az Isten emberének beszéde szerint, és megújult az ő teste, mint egy kis gyermek teste, és megtisztult.

Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

S-a coborât atunci şi s-a cufundat de şapte ori în Iordan, după cuvântul omului lui Dumnezeu; şi carnea lui s-a făcut iarăşi cum este carnea unui copilaş, şi s-a curăţat.

So he went down and dipped himself seven times in the Jordan, according to the word of the man of God, and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

Azután visszatért egész kíséretével az Isten emberéhez, bement, megállt előtte, és azt mondta: Íme, most már tudom, hogy nincs máshol Isten az egész földön, csak Izráelben! Azért most fogadd el, kérlek, ezt az ajándékot a te szolgádtól.

Azután visszatért egész kiséretével az Isten emberéhez, és bemenvén megálla előtte, és monda: Ímé, most tudom már, hogy nincsen az egész földön Isten, csak Izráelben! Azért most vedd el, kérlek, [ez] ajándékot a te szolgádtól.

And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.

Naaman s-a întors la omul lui Dumnezeu cu tot alaiul lui. Când a ajuns, s-a înfăţişat înaintea lui şi a zis: „Iată, cunosc acum că nu este Dumnezeu pe tot pământul, decât în Israel. Şi acum, primeşte, rogu-te, un dar din partea robului tău.”

Then he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and he came and stood before him. And he said, “Behold, I know that there is no God in all the earth but in Israel; so accept now a present from your servant.”

Ő pedig azt mondta: Él az ÚR, aki előtt állok, hogy nem fogadom el. Bár unszolta, hogy fogadja el, de ő hajthatatlan volt.

Ő pedig monda: Él az Úr, a ki előtt állok, hogy el nem veszem. Kényszeríti vala pedig őt, hogy elvegye; de ő nem akará.

But he said, As the LORD liveth, before whom I stand, I will receive none. And he urged him to take it; but he refused.

Elisei a răspuns: „Viu este Domnul, al cărui slujitor sunt, că nu voi primi.” Naaman a stăruit de el să primească, dar el n-a vrut.

But he said, “As the LORD lives, before whom I stand, I will receive none.” And he urged him to take it, but he refused.

Ekkor azt mondta Naamán: Ha nem, kérlek, adj a te szolgádnak ebből a földből annyit, amennyit egy pár öszvér elbír. Mert a te szolgád többé nem áldozik sem égőáldozattal, sem véresáldozattal idegen isteneknek, hanem csak az ÚRnak!

És monda Naámán: Ha nem; adj kérlek a te szolgádnak e földből annyit, a mennyit elbír két öszvér; mert a te szolgád többé égőáldozattal, vagy egyéb áldozattal nem áldozik idegen isteneknek, hanem csak az Úrnak.

And Naaman said, Shall there not then, I pray thee, be given to thy servant two mules' burden of earth? for thy servant will henceforth offer neither burnt offering nor sacrifice unto other gods, but unto the LORD.

Atunci Naaman a zis: „Fiindcă nu vrei să primeşti tu, îngăduie să se dea robului tău pământ cât pot duce doi catâri; căci robul tău nu mai vrea să mai aducă altor dumnezei nici ardere de tot, nici jertfă, ci va aduce numai Domnului.

Then Naaman said, “If not, please let there be given to your servant two mule loads of earth, for from now on your servant will not offer burnt offering or sacrifice to any god but the LORD.

Csak abban a dologban legyen az ÚR kegyelmes a te szolgádhoz, hogy amikor bemegy az én uram Rimmón templomába, hogy ott imádkozzék, és az én kezemre támaszkodik, akkor én is meghajolhassak Rimmón templomában. Azt, hogy meghajolok Rimmón templomában, bocsássa meg az ÚR a te szolgádnak!

Ebben a dologban legyen az Úr kegyelmes a te szolgádnak, hogy mikor bemegy az én uram a Rimmon templomába, hogy ott imádkozzék, és ő az én kezemre támaszkodik, ha akkor én is meghajlok a Rimmon templomában: azt, hogy én meghajlok a Rimmon templomában, bocsássa meg az Úr a te szolgádnak ebben a dologban.

In this thing the LORD pardon thy servant, that when my master goeth into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leaneth on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon: when I bow down myself in the house of Rimmon, the LORD pardon thy servant in this thing.

Iată totuşi ce rog pe Domnul să ierte robului tău: când stăpânul meu intră în casa lui Rimon să se închine acolo şi se sprijină pe mâna mea, mă închin şi eu în casa lui Rimon: să ierte Domnul pe robul tău, când mă voi închina în casa lui Rimon!”

In this matter may the LORD pardon your servant: when my master goes into the house of Rimmon to worship there, leaning on my arm, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon, when I bow myself in the house of Rimmon, the LORD pardon your servant in this matter.”

Ő azt felelte: Menj el békességgel. Mikor már úgy egy mérföldnyire eltávolodott tőle,

És monda néki [Elizeus:] Eredj el békességgel. És mikor elment ő tőle úgy egy mértföldnyire,

And he said unto him, Go in peace. So he departed from him a little way.

Elisei i-a zis: „Du-te în pace.” După ce a plecat Naaman de la Elisei şi a fost la o depărtare bunicică,

He said to him, “Go in peace.” But when Naaman had gone from him a short distance,

Géhazi, Elizeusnak, az Isten emberének szolgája azt gondolta: Íme, az én uram megkímélte ezt az arámi Naamánt, és nem akarta elfogadni tőle, amit hozott. Él az ÚR, hogy utána futok, és kérek tőle valamit.

Géházi, Elizeusnak, az Isten emberének szolgája azt gondolta: Ímé az én uram megkimélé ezt a Siriabeli Naámánt, és nem akará tőle elvenni, a mit hozott volt; él az Úr, hogy utána futok, és valamit kérek tőle.

But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but, as the LORD liveth, I will run after him, and take somewhat of him.

Ghehazi, slujitorul lui Elisei, omul lui Dumnezeu, a zis în sine: „Iată că stăpânul meu a cruţat pe sirianul acela, Naaman, şi n-a primit din mâna lui ce adusese. Viu este Domnul, că voi alerga după el şi voi căpăta ceva de la el.”

Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, “See, my master has spared this Naaman the Syrian, in not accepting from his hand what he brought. As the LORD lives, I will run after him and get something from him.”

Utána is futott Géhazi Naamánnak. Amikor Naamán meglátta, hogy fut utána, leugrott a kocsijáról, elébe ment, és ezt kérdezte: Rendben van minden?

So Gehazi followed after Naaman. And when Naaman saw him running after him, he lighted down from the chariot to meet him, and said, Is all well?

Şi Ghehazi a alergat după Naaman. Naaman, când l-a văzut alergând după el, s-a dat jos din car ca să-i iasă înainte şi a zis: „Este bine totul?”

So Gehazi followed Naaman. And when Naaman saw someone running after him, he got down from the chariot to meet him and said, “Is all well?”

Ő így felelt: Rendben. Uram küldött engem ezzel az üzenettel: Íme, épp most jött hozzám két ifjú az Efraim hegyvidékéről, a prófétafiak közül. Kérlek, adj nekik egy talentum ezüstöt és két öltözet ruhát!

És monda: Rendben. Az én uram küldött engem, ezt mondván: Ímé most csak ez órában jött hozzám két ifjú az Efraim hegyéről a próféták fiai közül: adj kérlek azoknak egy tálentom ezüstöt és két öltöző ruhát.

And he said, All is well. My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be come to me from mount Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I pray thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments.

El a răspuns: „Totul este bine. Stăpânul meu mă trimite să-ţi spun: „Iată că au venit la mine doi tineri din muntele lui Efraim, dintre fiii prorocilor; dă-mi pentru ei, te rog, un talant de argint şi două haine de schimb.”

And he said, “All is well. My master has sent me to say, ‘There have just now come to me from the hill country of Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets. Please give them a talent of silver and two changes of clothing.’”

Naamán azt mondta: Kérlek, fogadj el két talentumot. Unszolta őt, és egybekötött két talentum ezüstöt és két rend ruhát két zsákba, és a két szolgájának adta azokat, akik Géhazi előtt vitték.

És monda Naámán: Kérlek végy két tálentomot. És kényszeríté őt és egybeköte két tálentom ezüstöt két zsákba, és két öltöző ruhát, és azokat két szolgájának adá, a kik előtte vitték azokat.

And Naaman said, Be content, take two talents. And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and laid them upon two of his servants; and they bare them before him.

Naaman a zis: „Fă-mi plăcerea şi ia doi talanţi.” A stăruit de el şi a legat doi talanţi de argint în doi saci, împreună cu două haine de schimb, şi a pus pe doi din slujitorii săi să le ducă înaintea lui Ghehazi.

And Naaman said, “Be pleased to accept two talents.” And he urged him and tied up two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of clothing, and laid them on two of his servants. And they carried them before Gehazi.

And when he came to the tower, he took them from their hand, and bestowed them in the house: and he let the men go, and they departed.

Ő pedig bement, és megállt ura előtt. Elizeus azt mondta neki: Honnan, Géhazi? Így felelt: Nem ment a te szolgád sehova.

Ő pedig bemenvén, megálla az ő ura előtt, és monda néki Elizeus: Honnét, Géházi? Felele: Nem ment a te szolgád sehová.

But he went in, and stood before his master. And Elisha said unto him, Whence comest thou, Gehazi? And he said, Thy servant went no whither.

După aceea s-a dus şi s-a înfăţişat înaintea stăpânului său. Elisei i-a zis: „De unde vii, Ghehazi?” El a răspuns: „Robul tău nu s-a dus nicăieri.”

He went in and stood before his master, and Elisha said to him, “Where have you been, Gehazi?” And he said, “Your servant went nowhere.”

De ő azt mondta neki: Nem ment-e el a szívem veled, amikor az a férfi leszállt a kocsiról, és eléd ment? Hát most van-e az ideje annak, hogy ezüstöt szerezz, és hogy ruhákat, olajfákat, szőlőket, juhokat, marhákat, szolgákat és szolgálóleányokat szerezzél?

Ő pedig monda néki: Nem ment-é el az én szívem [veled,] mikor az a férfiú leszállott szekeréből elődbe? Most az ideje, hogy szerezz ezüstöt, és hogy végy ruhákat, olajfákat, szőlőket, juhokat, barmokat, szolgákat és szolgálóleányokat?!

And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants?

Dar Elisei i-a zis: „Oare n-a fost duhul meu cu tine, când a lăsat omul acela carul şi a venit înaintea ta? Este oare acum vremea de luat argint, haine, măslini, vii, oi, boi, robi şi roabe?

But he said to him, “Did not my heart go when the man turned from his chariot to meet you? Was it a time to accept money and garments, olive orchards and vineyards, sheep and oxen, male servants and female servants?
