Jórám pedig, Aháb fia Jósáfátnak, Júda királyának tizennyolcadik évében lett Izráel királya Samáriában, és tizenkét évig uralkodott.

Jórám pedig, az Akháb fia kezde uralkodni Izráelen Samariában Josafátnak, a Júda királyának tizennyolczadik esztendejében, és uralkodék tizenkét esztendeig.

Now Jehoram the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria the eighteenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and reigned twelve years.

Ioram, fiul lui Ahab, a început să domnească peste Israel la Samaria, în al optsprezecelea an al lui Iosafat, împăratul lui Iuda. A domnit doisprezece ani.

In the eighteenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, Jehoram the son of Ahab became king over Israel in Samaria, and he reigned twelve years.

És gonoszul cselekedett az ÚR szemében, bár nem annyira, mint apja és anyja. Mert lerontotta a Baal oszlopát, amelyet apja készíttetett.

És gonoszul cselekedék az Úrnak szemei előtt, de nem annyira, mint az ő atyja és anyja; mert elrontá a Baál képét, a melyet az ő atyja készíttetett volt.

And he wrought evil in the sight of the LORD; but not like his father, and like his mother: for he put away the image of Baal that his father had made.

He did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, though not like his father and mother, for he put away the pillar of Baal that his father had made.

De mégis követte Jeroboámnak, Nebát fiának bűneit, aki vétekbe vitte Izráelt, és nem tágított attól.

De mindazáltal követé Jeroboámnak, a Nébát fiának bűneit, a ki vétekbe ejtette volt az Izráelt, és el nem távozék azoktól.

Nevertheless he cleaved unto the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin; he departed not therefrom.

dar s-a dedat la păcatele lui Ieroboam, fiul lui Nebat, care făcuse pe Israel să păcătuiască, şi nu s-a abătut de la ele.

Nevertheless, he clung to the sin of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which he made Israel to sin; he did not depart from it.

Mésának, Móáb királyának nagyon sok juha volt, és Izráel királyának adóként százezer bárány és százezer kos gyapját fizette.

És Mésának, a Moáb királyának nagyon sok juha volt, és az Izráel királyának adóban százezer bárány és százezer kos gyapját fizette.

And Mesha king of Moab was a sheepmaster, and rendered unto the king of Israel an hundred thousand lambs, and an hundred thousand rams, with the wool.

But it came to pass, when Ahab was dead, that the king of Moab rebelled against the king of Israel.

But when Ahab died, the king of Moab rebelled against the king of Israel.

Kivonult tehát Jórám király azon a napon Samáriából, és megszámlálta egész Izráelt.

Kiméne azért Jórám király azon a napon Samariából, és megszámlálá az egész Izráelt;

And king Jehoram went out of Samaria the same time, and numbered all Israel.

Împăratul Ioram a ieşit atunci din Samaria şi a numărat pe tot Israelul.

So King Jehoram marched out of Samaria at that time and mustered all Israel.

Utána elment, és követeket küldött Jósáfáthoz, Júda királyához, ezt üzenve neki: Móáb királya elpártolt tőlem. Eljössz-e velem harcolni Móáb ellen? Erre ő így felelt: Elmegyek én éppúgy, mint te, az én népem éppúgy, mint a te néped, az én lovaim éppúgy, mint a te lovaid.

És elméne, és külde [követeket] Josafáthoz, Júda királyához, ezt izenvén néki: A Moáb királya elszakadt tőlem; eljösz-é velem a Moáb ellen a hadba? Felele: Felmegyek, úgy én, mint te; úgy az én népem, mint a te néped; úgy az én lovam, mint a te lovaid.

And he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, saying, The king of Moab hath rebelled against me: wilt thou go with me against Moab to battle? And he said, I will go up: I am as thou art, my people as thy people, and my horses as thy horses.

A pornit şi a trimis să spună lui Iosafat, împăratul lui Iuda: „Împăratul Moabului s-a răsculat împotriva mea; vrei să vii cu mine să luptăm împotriva Moabului?” Iosafat a răspuns: „Voi merge, eu ca tine, poporul meu ca poporul tău, caii mei ca ai tăi.”

And he went and sent word to Jehoshaphat king of Judah: “The king of Moab has rebelled against me. Will you go with me to battle against Moab?” And he said, “I will go. I am as you are, my people as your people, my horses as your horses.”

Majd megkérdezte: Melyik úton menjünk föl? Ő így felelt: Az Edóm pusztájának útján.

És monda: Mely úton menjünk fel? Felele: Az Edom pusztájának útján.

And he said, Which way shall we go up? And he answered, The way through the wilderness of Edom.

Şi a zis: „Pe care drum să ne suim?” Ioram a zis: „Pe drumul care duce în pustiul Edomului.”

Then he said, “By which way shall we march?” Jehoram answered, “By the way of the wilderness of Edom.”

És elment Izráel királya, Júda királya és Edóm királya. Mikor már hét napja bolyongtak az úton, nem volt vize sem a tábornak, sem a velük levő állatoknak.

És elméne az Izráel királya és Júda királya és az Edom királya; és mikor hét napig bolyongtak az úton, nem volt vize sem a tábornak, sem a velök volt barmoknak.

So the king of Israel went, and the king of Judah, and the king of Edom: and they fetched a compass of seven days' journey: and there was no water for the host, and for the cattle that followed them.

Împăratul lui Israel, împăratul lui Iuda şi împăratul Edomului au plecat; şi, după un drum de şapte zile, n-au avut apă pentru oştire şi pentru vitele care veneau după ea.

So the king of Israel went with the king of Judah and the king of Edom. And when they had made a circuitous march of seven days, there was no water for the army or for the animals that followed them.

Akkor ezt mondta Izráel királya: Jaj, jaj. Azért hívta össze az ÚR ezt a három királyt, hogy Móáb kezébe adja őket!

Akkor monda az Izráel királya: Jaj, jaj; az Úr [azért] hívta egybe e három királyt, hogy a Moáb kezébe adja őket!

And the king of Israel said, Alas! that the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab!

Atunci împăratul lui Israel a zis: „Vai! Domnul a chemat pe aceşti trei împăraţi ca să-i dea pe mâinile Moabului!”

Then the king of Israel said, “Alas! The LORD has called these three kings to give them into the hand of Moab.”

De Jósáfát így szólt: Nincs-e itt az ÚR prófétái közül egy, hogy tanácsot kérhetnénk általa az ÚRtól? És így felelt Izráel királyának egyik szolgája: Itt van Elizeus, Sáfát fia, aki Illés kezére szokta tölteni a vizet.

És monda Josafát: Nincs itt az Úr prófétái közül egy sem, hogy általa tanácsot kérhetnénk az Úrtól? És felele egy az Izráel királyának szolgái közül, és monda: Itt van Elizeus, a Sáfát fia, a ki Illésnek kezeire vizet tölt vala.

But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD, that we may enquire of the LORD by him? And one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, Here is Elisha the son of Shaphat, which poured water on the hands of Elijah.

Dar Iosafat a zis: „Nu este aici niciun proroc al Domnului, prin care să putem întreba pe Domnul?” Unul din slujitorii împăratului lui Israel a răspuns: „Este aici Elisei, fiul lui Şafat, care turna apă în mâinile lui Ilie.”

And Jehoshaphat said, “Is there no prophet of the LORD here, through whom we may inquire of the LORD?” Then one of the king of Israel’s servants answered, “Elisha the son of Shaphat is here, who poured water on the hands of Elijah.”

Erre Jósáfát azt mondta: Nála van az ÚR beszéde. Elment tehát hozzá Izráel királya és Jósáfát meg Edóm királya.

És monda Josafát: Nála van az Úrnak beszéde. És alámenének hozzá az Izráel királya és Josafát és az Edom királya.

And Jehoshaphat said, The word of the LORD is with him. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.

Şi Iosafat a zis: „Cuvântul Domnului este cu el.” Împăratul lui Israel, Iosafat şi împăratul Edomului s-au coborât la el.

And Jehoshaphat said, “The word of the LORD is with him.” So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.

Elizeus azonban azt mondta Izráel királyának: Mi közöm van hozzád? Menj apád meg anyád prófétáihoz! És mondta neki Izráel királya: Ne utasíts el, mert az ÚR gyűjtötte össze ezt a három királyt, hogy Móáb kezébe adja őket!

És monda Elizeus az Izráel királyának: Mi közöm van hozzád? Menj a te atyádnak és anyádnak prófétáihoz! És monda néki az Izráel királya: Ne [utasíts el;] mert az Úr gyűjtötte össze ezt a három királyt, hogy a Moáb kezébe adja őket.

And Elisha said unto the king of Israel, What have I to do with thee? get thee to the prophets of thy father, and to the prophets of thy mother. And the king of Israel said unto him, Nay: for the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab.

Elisei a zis împăratului lui Israel: „Ce am eu a face cu tine? Du-te la prorocii tatălui tău şi la prorocii mamei tale.” Şi împăratul lui Israel i-a zis: „Nu! căci Domnul a chemat pe aceşti trei împăraţi ca să-i dea în mâinile Moabului!”

And Elisha said to the king of Israel, “What have I to do with you? Go to the prophets of your father and to the prophets of your mother.” But the king of Israel said to him, “No; it is the LORD who has called these three kings to give them into the hand of Moab.”

Erre Elizeus így felelt: Él a Seregek URa, aki előtt állok, hogy ha nem nézném Jósáfátnak, Júda királyának személyét, rád sem tekintenék, meg sem látnálak.

És monda Elizeus: Él a Seregek Ura, a ki előtt állok, ha nem nézném Josafátnak, a Júda királyának személyét, [bizony] téged nem néznélek, és rád sem tekintenék;

And Elisha said, As the LORD of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, surely, were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I would not look toward thee, nor see thee.

Elisei a zis: „Viu este Domnul oştirilor, al cărui slujitor sunt, că, dacă n-aş avea în vedere pe Iosafat, împăratul lui Iuda, pe tine nu te-aş băga deloc în seamă şi nici nu m-aş uita la tine.

And Elisha said, “As the LORD of hosts lives, before whom I stand, were it not that I have regard for Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I would neither look at you nor see you.

De most hozzatok ide egy lantost. És mikor a lantos játszani kezdett, az ÚR keze megérintette a prófétát,

Hozzatok ide egy énekest. És mikor énekelt előtte az éneklő, az Úrnak keze lőn ő rajta.

But now bring me a minstrel. And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him.

Acum aduceţi-mi un cântăreţ cu harpa.” Şi pe când cânta cântăreţul din harpă, mâna Domnului a fost peste Elisei.

But now bring me a musician.” And when the musician played, the hand of the LORD came upon him.

és így szólt: Ezt mondja az ÚR: Csináljatok sok gödröt e patak medrében.

És monda: Ezt mondja az Úr: Csináljatok itt és ott e patakon árkokat;

And he said, Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley full of ditches.

Şi a zis: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Faceţi gropi în valea aceasta, groapă lângă groapă!”

And he said, “Thus says the LORD, ‘I will make this dry streambed full of pools.’

Mert azt mondja az ÚR: Nem láttok szelet, nem láttok esőt, és e patak mégis megtelik vízzel, hogy igyatok mind ti, mind a nyájatok és az állataitok is.

Mert ezt mondja az Úr: Nem láttok sem szelet, sem esőt, és mégis e patak megtelik vízzel, hogy ihattok mind ti, mind a ti nyájatok és barmaitok.

For thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts.

Căci aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Nu veţi vedea vânt şi nu veţi vedea ploaie, dar totuşi valea aceasta se va umple de apă şi veţi bea voi, turmele voastre şi vitele voastre.

For thus says the LORD, ‘You shall not see wind or rain, but that streambed shall be filled with water, so that you shall drink, you, your livestock, and your animals.’

De ez még csekélység az ÚR előtt, még Móábot is a kezetekbe adja,

Kevés pedig [még] ez az Úr szemei előtt, hanem a Moábot is kezetekbe adja.

And this is but a light thing in the sight of the LORD: he will deliver the Moabites also into your hand.

Dar aceasta este puţin lucru înaintea Domnului. El va da pe Moab în mâinile voastre;

This is a light thing in the sight of the LORD. He will also give the Moabites into your hand,

és bevesztek minden kulcsos várost és minden szép várost. Kivagdaltok minden jó fát, és betömtök minden forrást, és minden jó szántóföldet teleszórtok kövekkel.

És megvesztek minden kulcsos várost és minden szép várost, és minden jótermő fát kivagdaltok, és minden kútfőt betöltötök, és minden jó szántóföldet behánytok kövekkel.

And ye shall smite every fenced city, and every choice city, and shall fell every good tree, and stop all wells of water, and mar every good piece of land with stones.

veţi sfărâma toate cetăţile întărite şi toate cetăţile alese, veţi tăia toţi copacii cei buni, veţi astupa toate izvoarele de apă şi veţi strica cu pietre toate ogoarele cele mai bune.”

and you shall attack every fortified city and every choice city, and shall fell every good tree and stop up all springs of water and ruin every good piece of land with stones.”

Reggel az történt, hogy amikor áldozatot szoktak bemutatni, íme, víz áradt Edóm felől, és megtelt a környék vízzel.

És lőn reggel, a mikor áldozatot szoktak tenni, ímé vizek jőnek vala Edom útjáról, és megtelék a föld vízzel.

And it came to pass in the morning, when the meat offering was offered, that, behold, there came water by the way of Edom, and the country was filled with water.

Şi dimineaţa, în clipa când se aducea jertfa, iată că a venit apa de pe drumul Edomului şi s-a umplut ţara de apă.

The next morning, about the time of offering the sacrifice, behold, water came from the direction of Edom, till the country was filled with water.

Mikor pedig meghallotta az egész Móáb, hogy feljöttek a királyok őellenük harcolni, összegyűltek mindnyájan, akik fegyvert foghattak, és megálltak tartományuk határán.

Mikor pedig meghallotta az egész Moáb, hogy feljöttek a királyok ő ellenök harczolni, egybegyűlének mindnyájan, a kik fegyvert foghattak, és megállottak az ő [tartományuk] határán.

And when all the Moabites heard that the kings were come up to fight against them, they gathered all that were able to put on armour, and upward, and stood in the border.

Însă, toţi moabiţii, auzind că împăraţii se suie să lupte împotriva lor, au chemat pe toţi cei în vârstă să poarte armele şi mai mari chiar şi au stat la hotar.

When all the Moabites heard that the kings had come up to fight against them, all who were able to put on armor, from the youngest to the oldest, were called out and were drawn up at the border.

És mikor reggel fölkeltek, és a nap feljött a víz fölött, a móábiak úgy látták, mintha velük szemben vöröslene az a víz, mint a vér.

És mikor felkeltek reggel, és a nap feljött a vizekre, úgy láták a Moábiták, mintha ő ellenökbe az a víz vereslenék, mint a vér.

And they rose up early in the morning, and the sun shone upon the water, and the Moabites saw the water on the other side as red as blood:

S-au sculat dis-de-dimineaţă şi, când a strălucit soarele peste ape, moabiţii au văzut în faţa lor apele roşii ca sângele.

And when they rose early in the morning and the sun shone on the water, the Moabites saw the water opposite them as red as blood.

Akkor ezt mondták: Vér ez! Bizonyára megvívtak egymással a királyok, és megölték egymást. Prédára most, Móáb!

És mondának: Vér ez! Megvívtak a királyok egymással, és megölte egyik a másikát. Prédára most, Moáb!

And they said, This is blood: the kings are surely slain, and they have smitten one another: now therefore, Moab, to the spoil.

Ei au zis: „Este sânge! Împăraţii au scos sabia între ei, s-au tăiat unii pe alţii; acum, la pradă, moabiţi!”

And they said, “This is blood; the kings have surely fought together and struck one another down. Now then, Moab, to the spoil!”

De mikor odaértek Izráel táborához, fölkeltek az izráeliek, és megverték a móábiakat, és azok megfutamodtak előlük. Betörtek hozzájuk, és leverték Móábot.

De mikor az Izráel táborához jutottak, felkeltek az Izráeliták, és megverték a Moábitákat, és azok megfutamodtak előttök; betörtek hozzájok és leverték Moábot.

And when they came to the camp of Israel, the Israelites rose up and smote the Moabites, so that they fled before them: but they went forward smiting the Moabites, even in their country.

Şi au mers împotriva taberei lui Israel. Dar Israel s-a sculat şi a bătut pe Moab, care a luat-o la fugă dinaintea lor. Au pătruns în ţară şi au bătut pe Moab.

But when they came to the camp of Israel, the Israelites rose and struck the Moabites, till they fled before them. And they went forward, striking the Moabites as they went.

Lerontották városaikat, a jó szántóföldjeikre követ hánytak, míg beborították azt a kövek, és minden forrást betömtek, és minden jó fát kivágtak, úgyhogy csak Kír-Hareset kőfalait hagyták meg. De azt is körülvették a parittyások és lerontották.

És városaikat lerontották, és a jó szántóföldekre kiki követ hányt, és elborították azt [kövekkel,] és minden kútfőt behánytak, és minden jótermő fát kivágtak, úgy hogy csak Kir-Haréset kőfalait hagyták fenn; de körülvevék azt is a parittyások, és lerontották.

And they beat down the cities, and on every good piece of land cast every man his stone, and filled it; and they stopped all the wells of water, and felled all the good trees: only in Kirharaseth left they the stones thereof; howbeit the slingers went about it, and smote it.

Au sfărâmat cetăţile, au aruncat fiecare pietre în toate ogoarele cele mai bune şi le-au umplut cu pietre, au astupat toate izvoarele de apă şi au tăiat toţi copacii cei buni; prăştiaşii au înconjurat şi au bătut Chir-Hareset, din care n-au lăsat decât pietrele.

And they overthrew the cities, and on every good piece of land every man threw a stone until it was covered. They stopped every spring of water and felled all the good trees, till only its stones were left in Kir-hareseth, and the slingers surrounded and attacked it.

Amikor látta Móáb királya, hogy legyőzik a viadalban, maga mellé vett hétszáz fegyverforgató férfit, hogy keresztültörjenek Edóm királyához, de nem tudtak.

Látván pedig a Moáb királya, hogy legyőzettetik a viadalban, maga mellé vett hétszáz fegyverfogó férfiút, hogy keresztül törjenek az Edom királyához; de nem bírtak.

And when the king of Moab saw that the battle was too sore for him, he took with him seven hundred men that drew swords, to break through even unto the king of Edom: but they could not.

Împăratul Moabului, văzând că fusese înfrânt în luptă, a luat cu el şapte sute de oameni, care scoteau sabia, să-şi croiască drum până la împăratul Edomului; dar n-au putut.

When the king of Moab saw that the battle was going against him, he took with him 700 swordsmen to break through, opposite the king of Edom, but they could not.

Akkor vette elsőszülött fiát, aki úgy volt, hogy majd helyette uralkodik, és égőáldozatul feláldozta a kőfalon. Ezen Izráel népe oly igen felháborodott, hogy elmentek onnan, és visszatértek hazájukba.

Akkor vevé az ő elsőszülött fiát, a ki ő helyette uralkodandó volt, és égőáldozatul megáldozá a kőfalon. Mely dolog felett az Izráel népe igen felháborodék, és elmenének onnét, és megtérének az ő földjökbe.

Then he took his eldest son that should have reigned in his stead, and offered him for a burnt offering upon the wall. And there was great indignation against Israel: and they departed from him, and returned to their own land.

A luat atunci pe fiul său întâi născut, care trebuia să domnească în locul lui, şi l-a adus ca ardere de tot pe zid. Şi o mare mânie a cuprins pe Israel, care s-a depărtat de împăratul Moabului şi s-a întors în ţară.

Then he took his oldest son who was to reign in his place and offered him for a burnt offering on the wall. And there came great wrath against Israel. And they withdrew from him and returned to their own land.
