Amikor az ÚR föl akarta vinni Illést forgószélben a mennyekbe, elment Illés és Elizeus Gilgálból.

És lőn mikor az Úr Illést fel akará vinni a szélvész által mennyekbe: elméne Illés és Elizeus Gilgálból.

And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.

Când a voit Domnul să ridice pe Ilie la cer într-un vârtej de vânt, Ilie pleca din Ghilgal cu Elisei.

Now when the LORD was about to take Elijah up to heaven by a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were on their way from Gilgal.

Illés azt mondta Elizeusnak: Maradj itt, kérlek, mert engem Bételbe küldött az ÚR. Elizeus így felelt: Él az ÚR és a te lelked, hogy nem hagylak el téged! És mikor lementek Bétel felé,

És monda Illés Elizeusnak: Maradj itt, kérlek, mert az Úr Béthelbe küldött engem. És felele Elizeus: Él az Úr, és a te lelked, hogy el nem hagylak téged! És mikor lemenének Béthel felé:

And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said unto him, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Bethel.

Ilie a zis lui Elisei: „Rămâi aici, te rog, căci Domnul mă trimite până la Betel.” Elisei a răspuns: „Viu este Domnul şi viu este sufletul tău că nu te voi părăsi.” Şi s-au coborât la Betel.

And Elijah said to Elisha, “Please stay here, for the LORD has sent me as far as Bethel.” But Elisha said, “As the LORD lives, and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

kijöttek Elizeushoz a prófétafiak Bételből, és azt mondták neki: Tudod-e, hogy az ÚR ma elragadja uradat mellőled? Ő így felelt: Én is tudom, hallgassatok.

And the sons of the prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.

Fiii prorocilor, care erau la Betel, au ieşit la Elisei şi i-au zis: „Ştii că Domnul răpeşte astăzi pe stăpânul tău deasupra capului tău?” Şi el a răspuns: „Ştiu şi eu, dar tăceţi.”

And the sons of the prophets who were in Bethel came out to Elisha and said to him, “Do you know that today the LORD will take away your master from over you?” And he said, “Yes, I know it; keep quiet.”

Akkor ezt mondta neki Illés: Elizeus! Maradj itt, kérlek, mert az ÚR Jerikóba küldött engem. Ő azonban így felelt: Él az ÚR és a te lelked, hogy nem hagylak el. Ekkor elmentek Jerikóba,

And Elijah said unto him, Elisha, tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Jericho. And he said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they came to Jericho.

Ilie i-a zis: „Eliseie, rămâi aici, te rog, căci Domnul mă trimite la Ierihon.” El a răspuns: „Viu este Domnul şi viu este sufletul tău, că nu te voi părăsi!” Şi au ajuns la Ierihon.

Elijah said to him, “Elisha, please stay here, for the LORD has sent me to Jericho.” But he said, “As the LORD lives, and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they came to Jericho.

és a prófétafiak, akik Jerikóban voltak, Elizeushoz léptek, és azt mondták neki: Tudod-e, hogy az ÚR ma elragadja uradat mellőled? Ő így felelt: Én is tudom, hallgassatok.

And the sons of the prophets that were at Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he answered, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.

Fiii prorocilor, care erau la Ierihon, s-au apropiat de Elisei şi i-au zis: „Ştii că Domnul răpeşte azi pe stăpânul tău deasupra capului tău?” Şi el a răspuns: „Ştiu şi eu; dar tăceţi.”

The sons of the prophets who were at Jericho drew near to Elisha and said to him, “Do you know that today the LORD will take away your master from over you?” And he answered, “Yes, I know it; keep quiet.”

Azután ezt mondta neki Illés: Maradj itt, kérlek, mert az ÚR a Jordánhoz küldött engem. De ő így felelt: Él az ÚR és a te lelked, hogy nem hagylak el téged. Erre elmentek ketten együtt.

Azután monda néki Illés: Maradj itt, kérlek, mert az Úr engem a Jordán mellé küldött. De ő felele: Él az Úr és a te lelked, hogy el nem hagylak téged. És elmenének együtt mindketten.

And Elijah said unto him, Tarry, I pray thee, here; for the LORD hath sent me to Jordan. And he said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on.

Ötvenen pedig a prófétafiak közül utánuk mentek, velük szemben messze megálltak, amikor ők ketten megálltak a Jordánnál.

Ötven férfiú pedig a próféták fiai közül [utánok] menvén, velök szemben messze megállának, mikor ők ketten a Jordán mellett megállottak.

And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and stood to view afar off: and they two stood by Jordan.

Cincizeci de inşi dintre fiii prorocilor au sosit şi s-au oprit la o depărtare oarecare în faţa lor, şi ei amândoi s-au oprit pe malul Iordanului.

Fifty men of the sons of the prophets also went and stood at some distance from them, as they both were standing by the Jordan.

Illés fogta a palástját, összegöngyölte, és megütötte vele a vizet. Az kétfelé vált, így mind a ketten szárazon mentek át rajta.

És fogá Illés az ő palástját, és összehajtva azt, megüté azzal a vizet; és az kétfelé válék; úgy hogy mind a ketten szárazon menének át rajta.

And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.

Atunci Ilie şi-a luat mantaua, a făcut-o sul şi a lovit cu ea apele, care s-au despărţit într-o parte şi într-alta, şi au trecut amândoi pe uscat.

Then Elijah took his cloak and rolled it up and struck the water, and the water was parted to the one side and to the other, till the two of them could go over on dry ground.

And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.

When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask what I shall do for you, before I am taken from you.” And Elisha said, “Please let there be a double portion of your spirit on me.”

Ő azt mondta: Nehezet kértél. Mégis, ha látsz engem, amikor majd elragadtatom tőled, akkor meglesz, amit kértél, ha pedig nem látsz meg, nem lesz meg.

And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.

Ilie a zis: „Greu lucru ceri. Dar dacă mă vei vedea când voi fi răpit de la tine, aşa ţi se va întâmpla; dacă nu, nu ţi se va întâmpla aşa.”

And he said, “You have asked a hard thing; yet, if you see me as I am being taken from you, it shall be so for you, but if you do not see me, it shall not be so.”

Amikor továbbmentek és beszélgettek, íme, egy tüzes szekér tüzes lovakkal elválasztotta őket egymástól, és fölment Illés a szélvészben az égbe.

And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

And as they still went on and talked, behold, chariots of fire and horses of fire separated the two of them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.

Elisei se uita şi striga: „Părinte! Părinte! Carul lui Israel şi călărimea lui!” Şi nu l-a mai văzut. Apucându-şi hainele, le-a sfâşiat în două bucăţi

And Elisha saw it and he cried, “My father, my father! The chariots of Israel and its horsemen!” And he saw him no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces.

He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan;

And he took up the cloak of Elijah that had fallen from him and went back and stood on the bank of the Jordan.

Fogta Illés leesett palástját, megütötte vele a vizet, és azt mondta: Hol van az ÚR, Illés Istene? És amikor ő is megütötte a vizet, az kétfelé vált; és átment Elizeus.

És vevé az Illés palástját, a mely róla leesett, és [azzal] megüté a vizet, és monda: Hol van az Úr, az Illés Istene? És mikor ő is megütötte a vizet, kétfelé válék az; és általméne Elizeus.

And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.

Then he took the cloak of Elijah that had fallen from him and struck the water, saying, “Where is the LORD, the God of Elijah?” And when he had struck the water, the water was parted to the one side and to the other, and Elisha went over.

Amikor látták őt a prófétafiak, akik szemben, Jerikónál voltak, azt mondták: Illés lelke megnyugodott Elizeuson. És eléje mentek, és földig hajoltak előtte.

And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.

Fiii prorocilor care erau în faţa Ierihonului, când l-au văzut, au zis: „Duhul lui Ilie a venit peste Elisei.” Şi i-au ieşit înainte şi s-au închinat până la pământ înaintea lui.

Now when the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho saw him opposite them, they said, “The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” And they came to meet him and bowed to the ground before him.

Majd azt mondták neki: Íme, szolgáid között van ötven ember, vitéz férfiak, küldd el őket, hadd menjenek el megkeresni a te uradat, hátha az ÚR lelke, miután elragadta őt, letette valamelyik hegyen vagy völgyben. De ő így felelt: Ne küldjetek senkit.

És mondának néki: Ímé a te szolgáid között van ötven ember, erős férfiak, küldd el őket, hadd keressék meg a te uradat, hátha az Úrnak lelke ragadta el őt, és letette őt valamelyik hegyen, vagy völgyben. De ő monda: Ne küldjetek.

And they said unto him, Behold now, there be with thy servants fifty strong men; let them go, we pray thee, and seek thy master: lest peradventure the Spirit of the LORD hath taken him up, and cast him upon some mountain, or into some valley. And he said, Ye shall not send.

Ei i-au zis: „Iată că între slujitorii tăi sunt cincizeci de oameni viteji; vrei să se ducă să caute pe stăpânul tău? Poate că Duhul Domnului l-a dus şi l-a aruncat pe vreun munte sau în vreo vale.” El a răspuns: „Nu-i trimiteţi.”

And they said to him, “Behold now, there are with your servants fifty strong men. Please let them go and seek your master. It may be that the Spirit of the LORD has caught him up and cast him upon some mountain or into some valley.” And he said, “You shall not send.”

De mikor azok a végsőkig unszolták őt, ezt mondta: Hát küldjetek! És elküldték az ötven férfit, de harmadnapig keresve sem találták meg őt.

De azok kényszerítették őt egész a megszégyenülésig, és monda: [Hát] küldjetek el! És elküldék az ötven férfiút, de harmadnapig keresvén sem találák meg őt.

And when they urged him till he was ashamed, he said, Send. They sent therefore fifty men; and they sought three days, but found him not.

Dar ei au stăruit multă vreme de el. Şi el a zis: „Trimiteţi-i.” Au trimis pe cei cincizeci de oameni, care au căutat pe Ilie trei zile şi nu l-au găsit.

But when they urged him till he was ashamed, he said, “Send.” They sent therefore fifty men. And for three days they sought him but did not find him.

Amikor visszajöttek hozzá, mert Jerikóban lakott, azt mondta nekik: Nem mondtam-e, hogy ne menjetek el?

És mikor visszajöttek ő hozzá, mert Jérikhóban lakott, monda nékik: Nem mondottam-é, hogy ne menjetek el?

And when they came again to him, (for he tarried at Jericho,) he said unto them, Did I not say unto you, Go not?

Când s-au întors la Elisei, care era la Ierihon, el le-a zis: „Nu v-am spus să nu vă duceţi?”

And they came back to him while he was staying at Jericho, and he said to them, “Did I not say to you, ‘Do not go’?”

Egyszer a városbeli férfiak azt mondták Elizeusnak: Íme, e város, amint magad is látod, uram, jó lakóhely volna, de a vize rossz, és a földje terméketlen.

És mondának a város férfiai Elizeusnak: Ímé e város jó lakóhely volna, a mint uram magad látod; de a vize ártalmas, és a föld gyümölcsét meg nem érleli.

And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord seeth: but the water is naught, and the ground barren.

Oamenii din cetate au zis lui Elisei: „Iată, aşezarea cetăţii este bună, după cum vede domnul meu; dar apele sunt rele, şi ţara este stearpă.”

Now the men of the city said to Elisha, “Behold, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord sees, but the water is bad, and the land is unfruitful.”

Ő így válaszolt: Hozzatok nekem egy új tálat, és tegyetek bele sót. És hoztak neki.

És monda: Hozzatok nékem egy új csészét, és tegyetek sót belé. És elhozák néki.

And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him.

El a zis: „Aduceţi-mi un blid nou şi puneţi sare în el.” Şi i-au adus.

He said, “Bring me a new bowl, and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him.

Ő pedig kiment a forráshoz, sót dobott bele, és azt mondta: Ezt mondja az ÚR: Meggyógyítottam e vizeket, ezután nem származik belőlük halál és terméketlenség.

Ő pedig kiment a forráshoz, és bele veté a sót, és monda: Ezt mondja az Úr: Meggyógyítottam e vizeket; nem származik ezután azokból halál és idétlen termés.

And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.

Apoi s-a dus la izvorul apelor şi a aruncat sare în el şi a zis: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Vindec apele acestea; nu va mai veni din ele nici moarte, nici sterpiciune.”

Then he went to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said, “Thus says the LORD, I have healed this water; from now on neither death nor miscarriage shall come from it.”

És egészségesekké lettek a vizek mindmáig Elizeus szavai szerint, amelyet szólt.

És egészségesekké lőnek a vizek mind e mai napig, Elizeus beszéde szerint, a melyet szólott.

So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spake.

Şi apele au fost vindecate până în ziua aceasta, după cuvântul pe care-l rostise Domnul.

So the water has been healed to this day, according to the word that Elisha spoke.

Azután fölment onnan Bételbe. Amikor az úton fölfelé ment, gyermekek jöttek ki a városból, akik így csúfolták: Menj föl, kopasz, menj föl, kopasz!

Felméne azután onnét Béthelbe; és mikor az úton felfelé méne, apró gyermekek jövének ki a városból, a kik őt csúfolják vala, ezt mondván: Jőjj fel, kopasz, jőjj fel, kopasz!

And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head.

De acolo s-a suit la Betel. Şi pe când mergea pe drum, nişte băieţaşi au ieşit din cetate şi şi-au bătut joc de el. Ei îi ziceau: „Suie-te, pleşuvule! Suie-te, pleşuvule!”

He went up from there to Bethel, and while he was going up on the way, some small boys came out of the city and jeered at him, saying, “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!”

Erre ő hátratekintve meglátta és megátkozta őket az ÚR nevében; és az erdőből két nőstény medve jött ki, és szétszaggatott közülük negyvenkét gyermeket.

És hátratekintvén és meglátván őket, megátkozá őket az Úr nevében, és az erdőből két nőstény medve jövén ki, szétszaggata közülök negyvenkét gyermeket.

And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

El s-a întors să-i privească şi i-a blestemat în Numele Domnului. Atunci au ieşit doi urşi din pădure şi au sfâşiat patruzeci şi doi din aceşti copii.

And he turned around, and when he saw them, he cursed them in the name of the LORD. And two she-bears came out of the woods and tore forty-two of the boys.

Azután fölment onnan a Karmelhegyre, onnan pedig visszatért Samáriába.

Onnét azután felment a Kármel hegyére; onnét pedig Samariába tért vissza.

And he went from thence to mount Carmel, and from thence he returned to Samaria.

De acolo s-a dus pe muntele Carmel, de unde s-a întors la Samaria.

From there he went on to Mount Carmel, and from there he returned to Samaria.
