Aháb halála után Móáb elszakadt Izráeltől.

És elszakadt Moáb, Akháb halála után, az Izráeltől.

Then Moab rebelled against Israel after the death of Ahab.

After the death of Ahab, Moab rebelled against Israel.

Amikor Ahazjá Samáriában leesett háza felső szobájából a korláton át, és megbetegedett, követeket küldött el, akiknek ezt parancsolta: Menjetek el, tudakozódjatok a Baalzebúbtól, Ekrón istenétől, hogy meggyógyulok-e ebből a betegségből!

És mikor Akházia kibukott az ő felházának korlátján Samariában, és megbetegedék, követeket külde el, a kiknek azt parancsolá: Menjetek el, kérdjetek tanácsot a Baálzebubtól, az Ekron istenétől, hogy meggyógyulok-é e betegségből?

And Ahaziah fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber that was in Samaria, and was sick: and he sent messengers, and said unto them, Go, enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease.

Ahazia a căzut prin zăbrelele odăii lui de sus, în Samaria, şi s-a îmbolnăvit. A trimis nişte soli şi le-a zis: „Duceţi-vă şi întrebaţi pe Baal-Zebub, dumnezeul Ecronului, ca să ştiu dacă mă voi vindeca de boala aceasta.”

Now Ahaziah fell through the lattice in his upper chamber in Samaria, and lay sick; so he sent messengers, telling them, “Go, inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I shall recover from this sickness.”

Az ÚR angyala pedig így szólt a tisbei Illésnek: Kelj föl, menj el a samáriai király követei elé, és így szólj hozzájuk: Nincs-e Isten Izráelben, hogy Baalzebúbhoz, Ekrón istenéhez mentek tudakozódni?

Az Úrnak angyala pedig szóla Thesbites Illésnek: Kelj fel, menj el eleibe a Samariabeli király követeinek, és szólj nékik: Nincs-é Isten Izráelben, hogy Baálzebubhoz, az Ekron istenéhez mentek tanácsot kérdeni?

But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?

Dar îngerul Domnului a zis lui Ilie, tişbitul: „Scoală-te, suie-te înaintea solilor împăratului Samariei şi spune-le: „Oare nu este Dumnezeu în Israel, de vă duceţi să întrebaţi pe Baal-Zebub, dumnezeul Ecronului?

But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, “Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say to them, ‘Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron?

Ezért így szól az ÚR: Az ágyból, amelyben fekszel, nem kelsz föl, hanem bizonnyal meghalsz. Ezután Illés elment.

Azért azt mondja az Úr: Az ágyból, a melyben fekszel, fel nem kelsz, hanem kétség nélkül meghalsz. És elméne Illés.

Now therefore thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. And Elijah departed.

De aceea, aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Nu te vei mai da jos din patul în care te-ai suit, ci vei muri.” Şi Ilie a plecat.

Now therefore thus says the LORD, You shall not come down from the bed to which you have gone up, but you shall surely die.’” So Elijah went.

Amikor a követek visszajöttek a királyhoz, azt mondta nekik: Miért jöttetek vissza?

És mikor a követek visszajöttek ő hozzá, monda nékik: Miért jöttetek vissza?

And when the messengers turned back unto him, he said unto them, Why are ye now turned back?

Solii s-au întors la Ahazia. Şi el le-a zis: „Pentru ce v-aţi întors?”

The messengers returned to the king, and he said to them, “Why have you returned?”

Ők így feleltek: Egy férfiú jött elénk, és ezt mondta nekünk: Menjetek, térjetek vissza a királyhoz, aki titeket elküldött, és mondjátok meg neki: Azt mondja az ÚR: Nincs-e Isten Izráelben, hogy te a Baalzebúbhoz, Ekrón istenéhez küldesz tudakozódni? Azért az ágyból, amelyben fekszel, nem kelsz föl, hanem kétség nélkül meghalsz.

És felelének néki: Egy férfiú jöve előnkbe, és monda nékünk: Menjetek el, térjetek vissza a királyhoz, a ki titeket elküldött, és mondjátok meg néki: Ezt mondja az Úr: Nincs-é Izráelben Isten, hogy te Baálzebubhoz, Ekron istenéhez küldesz tanácsot kérdeni? Azért az ágyból, a melyben fekszel, fel nem kelsz, hanem kétség nélkül meghalsz.

And they said unto him, There came a man up to meet us, and said unto us, Go, turn again unto the king that sent you, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that thou sendest to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? therefore thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.

Ei i-au răspuns: „Un om s-a suit înaintea noastră şi ne-a zis: „Întoarceţi-vă la împăratul care v-a trimis şi spuneţi-i: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Oare nu este Dumnezeu în Israel, de trimiteţi să întrebe pe Baal-Zebub, dumnezeul Ecronului? De aceea, nu te vei mai da jos din patul în care te-ai suit, ci vei muri.”

And they said to him, “There came a man to meet us, and said to us, ‘Go back to the king who sent you, and say to him, Thus says the LORD, Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are sending to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you shall not come down from the bed to which you have gone up, but you shall surely die.’”

Ezt kérdezte tőlük: Milyen volt az a férfi, aki elétek jött, és ezeket mondta nektek?

És monda nékik: Milyen volt az a férfiú, a ki előtökbe jött volt, és ezeket a beszédeket szólá néktek?

And he said unto them, What manner of man was he which came up to meet you, and told you these words?

Ahazia le-a zis: „Ce înfăţişare avea omul acela care s-a suit înaintea voastră şi v-a spus aceste cuvinte?”

He said to them, “What kind of man was he who came to meet you and told you these things?”

Így feleltek neki: Egy szőrruhás ember, derekán bőrövvel felövezve. Erre azt mondta: A tisbei Illés volt az.

És felelének néki: Egy szőr-[ruhás] ember, derekán bőr övvel felövezve. Akkor monda: Thesbites Illés volt.

And they answered him, He was an hairy man, and girt with a girdle of leather about his loins. And he said, It is Elijah the Tishbite.

Ei au răspuns: „Era un om îmbrăcat cu o manta de păr şi încins cu o curea la mijloc.” Şi Ahazia a zis: „Este Ilie, tişbitul.”

They answered him, “He wore a garment of hair, with a belt of leather about his waist.” And he said, “It is Elijah the Tishbite.”

Ekkor elküldött hozzá egy parancsnokot az alája tartozó ötven emberrel. Ez fölment hozzá, mivel fönn ült a hegy tetején, és azt mondta neki: Isten embere, a király azt parancsolja: Jöjj le!

És hozzá külde egy ötven ember előtt járó főembert, az alatta való ötven emberrel. És mikor ez hozzá felment, ott ült fenn a hegy tetején, és monda néki: Isten embere, a király azt parancsolja: Jőjj le!

Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down.

A trimis la el pe o căpetenie de cincizeci cu cei cincizeci de oameni ai lui. Căpetenia aceasta s-a suit la Ilie, care şedea pe vârful muntelui, şi i-a zis: „Omule al lui Dumnezeu, împăratul a zis: „Coboară-te!”

Then the king sent to him a captain of fifty men with his fifty. He went up to Elijah, who was sitting on the top of a hill, and said to him, “O man of God, the king says, ‘Come down.’”

Erre így felelt Illés az ötven ember parancsnokának: Ha Isten embere vagyok, szálljon le tűz az égből, és emésszen meg téged és az alád tartozó ötven embert! Erre tűz szállt le az égből, és megemésztette őt ötven emberével együtt.

Felelvén Illés, monda az ötven ember előtt járó főembernek: Ha én Isten embere vagyok, szálljon tűz alá az égből, és emészszen meg téged és az alattad való ötven embert. És tűz szálla alá az égből, és megemészté őt és az [ő] ötven emberét.

And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.

Ilie a răspuns căpeteniei peste cincizeci: „Dacă sunt un om al lui Dumnezeu, să se coboare foc din cer şi să te mistuie, pe tine şi pe cei cincizeci de oameni ai tăi!” Şi s-a coborât foc din cer şi l-a mistuit pe el şi pe cei cincizeci de oameni ai lui.

But Elijah answered the captain of fifty, “If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty.” Then fire came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty.

Ismét küldött hozzá a király egy másik parancsnokot ötven férfival együtt, aki így szólt: Isten embere, a király azt parancsolja, hogy azonnal jöjj le!

És ismét külde ő hozzá [a király] más ötven ember előtt való főembert, mind az ötven férfival egybe, a ki szóla és monda néki: Isten embere, a király azt parancsolja, hogy hamar jőjj alá!

Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, O man of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly.

Ahazia a trimis din nou la el altă căpetenie peste cincizeci cu cei cincizeci de oameni ai lui. Căpetenia aceasta a luat cuvântul şi a zis lui Ilie: „Omule al lui Dumnezeu, aşa a zis împăratul: „Grăbeşte-te de te coboară!”

Again the king sent to him another captain of fifty men with his fifty. And he answered and said to him, “O man of God, this is the king’s order, ‘Come down quickly!’”

Illés így felelt: Ha Isten embere vagyok, szálljon le tűz az égből, és emésszen meg téged ötven embereddel együtt! És Isten tüze leszállt az égből, és megemésztette őt ötven emberével együtt.

És felele Illés, és monda nékik: Ha Isten embere vagyok, szálljon tűz az égből alá, és emészszen meg téged és a te ötven emberedet. És Istennek tüze szálla alá az égből, és megemészté őt és az ő ötven emberét.

And Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.

Ilie le-a răspuns: „Dacă sunt un om al lui Dumnezeu, să se coboare foc din cer şi să te mistuie, pe tine şi pe cei cincizeci de oameni ai tăi!” Şi s-a coborât for din cer şi l-a mistuit, pe el şi pe cei cincizeci de oameni ai lui.

But Elijah answered them, “If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty.” Then the fire of God came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty.

Ekkor elküldött egy harmadik parancsnokot is ötven emberével együtt. Fölment ez az ötven ember fölött álló főember, odament hozzá, térdre borult Illés előtt, és így könyörgött neki: Ó, Isten embere, kérlek, legyen becsülete szemedben lelkemnek és e szolgáidnak, ez ötven ember lelkének.

És újra elküldött egy harmadik ötven ember előtt járó főembert is, az ő ötven emberével együtt, és felmenvén ez az ötven ember előtt járó főember, elméne és térdre borult Illés előtt, és könyörögvén néki, monda: Óh Isten embere, kérlek, legyen becsülete a te szemeid előtt az én lelkemnek, és ezeknek a te szolgáidnak, ez ötven ember lelkének!

And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight.

Ahazia a trimis din nou o a treia căpetenie peste cincizeci, împreună cu cei cincizeci de oameni ai săi. Această a treia căpetenie peste cincizeci s-a suit; şi, la sosire, şi-a plecat genunchii înaintea lui Ilie şi i-a zis, rugându-l: „Omule al lui Dumnezeu, te rog, viaţa mea şi viaţa acestor cincizeci de oameni, slujitorii tăi, să fie scumpă înaintea ta!

Again the king sent the captain of a third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up and came and fell on his knees before Elijah and entreated him, “O man of God, please let my life, and the life of these fifty servants of yours, be precious in your sight.

Íme, tűz szállt le az égből, és megemésztette az előbbi két parancsnokot az ő ötven-ötven emberükkel együtt. Most azért legyen becsülete az én lelkemnek a te szemedben!

Ímé tűz szállott le az égből és megemészté az ötven ember előtt való elébbi két főembert, az ő ötven emberével egybe: Most azért legyen becsülete az én lelkemnek a te szemeid előtt!

Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties: therefore let my life now be precious in thy sight.

Iată, s-a coborât foc din cer şi a mistuit pe cele dintâi două căpetenii peste cincizeci şi pe cei cincizeci de oameni ai lor: dar acum, viaţa mea să fie scumpă înaintea ta!”

Behold, fire came down from heaven and consumed the two former captains of fifty men with their fifties, but now let my life be precious in your sight.”

Ekkor az ÚR angyala így szólt Illéshez: Menj le vele, ne félj semmit tőle. Ő pedig fölkelt, és lement vele a királyhoz,

Ekkor szóla az Úr angyala Illésnek: Menj alá vele, ne félj semmit tőle. És ő felkelvén aláméne vele a királyhoz.

And the angel of the LORD said unto Elijah, Go down with him: be not afraid of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king.

Îngerul Domnului a zis lui Ilie: „Coboară-te împreună cu el, n-ai nicio frică de el.” Ilie s-a sculat şi s-a coborât cu el la împăratul.

Then the angel of the LORD said to Elijah, “Go down with him; do not be afraid of him.” So he arose and went down with him to the king

és így szólt neki: Ezt mondja az ÚR: Amiért követeket küldöttél tudakozódni Baalzebúbhoz, Ekrón istenéhez, mintha nem volna Isten Izráelben, akitől tanácsot kérhetnél, azért nem kelsz föl ebből az ágyból, amelyben fekszel, hanem kétség nélkül meghalsz.

És szóla néki: Ezt mondja az Úr: A miért követeket küldöttél tanácsot kérdeni Baálzebubhoz, Ekron istenéhez, mintha nem volna Izráelben Isten, a kinek a beszédéből tanácsot kérdhetnél: azért fel nem kelsz ez ágyból, a melyben fekszel, hanem kétség nélkül meghalsz.

And he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron, is it not because there is no God in Israel to enquire of his word? therefore thou shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.

El i-a zis: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Pentru că ai trimis soli să întrebe pe Baal-Zebub, dumnezeul Ecronului, ca şi cum n-ar fi în Israel Dumnezeu al cărui cuvânt să-l poţi întreba, nu te vei mai da jos din patul în care te-ai suit, ci vei muri.”

and said to him, “Thus says the LORD, ‘Because you have sent messengers to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron—is it because there is no God in Israel to inquire of his word?—therefore you shall not come down from the bed to which you have gone up, but you shall surely die.’”

És meg is halt az ÚR beszéde szerint, amelyet Illés közölt vele. Jórám uralkodott utána, a júdabeli Jórám királynak, Jósáfát fiának második évében, mert Ahazjának nem volt fia.

És meghalt az Úrnak beszéde szerint, a melyet szólott Illés, és uralkodék Jórám ő helyette, Jórámnak, a Josafát fiának, a Júdabeli királynak második esztendejében; mert [Akháziának] nem volt fia.

So he died according to the word of the LORD which Elijah had spoken. And Jehoram reigned in his stead in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah; because he had no son.

Ahazia a murit, după cuvântul Domnului, rostit prin Ilie. Şi în locul lui, a început să domnească Ioram, în al doilea an al lui Ioram, fiul lui Iosafat, împăratul lui Iuda; căci n-avea fiu.

So he died according to the word of the LORD that Elijah had spoken. Jehoram became king in his place in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, because Ahaziah had no son.

Ahazjá egyéb dolgai pedig, amelyeket cselekedett, nincsenek-e megírva Izráel királyainak krónikáskönyvében?

Akháziának egyéb dolgai pedig, a melyeket cselekedett, vajjon nincsenek- é megírva az Izráel királyainak krónika-könyvében?

Now the rest of the acts of Ahaziah which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

Celelalte fapte ale lui Ahazia şi ce a făcut el nu sunt scrise oare în cartea Cronicilor împăraţilor lui Israel?
