Három esztendő lefolyt úgy, hogy nem volt hadakozás Arám és Izráel között.

És három esztendő lefolyt úgy, hogy nem volt hadakozás a Siriabeliek és az Izráel között.

And they continued three years without war between Syria and Israel.

Au stat trei ani liniştiţi, fără să fie război între Siria şi Israel.

For three years Syria and Israel continued without war.

De a harmadik esztendőben, amikor Jósáfát, Júda királya lement Izráel királyához,

And it came to pass in the third year, that Jehoshaphat the king of Judah came down to the king of Israel.

În anul al treilea, Iosafat, împăratul lui Iuda, s-a coborât la împăratul lui Israel.

But in the third year Jehoshaphat the king of Judah came down to the king of Israel.

azt mondta Izráel királya az ő szolgáinak: Nem tudjátok-e, hogy Rámót-Gileád a miénk? És mi hallgatunk, és nem vesszük vissza azt Arám királyától?

Akkor monda az Izráel királya az ő szolgáinak: Nem tudjátok-é, hogy Rámoth Gileád a miénk? És mi hallgatunk és nem veszszük vissza azt Siria királyától?

And the king of Israel said unto his servants, Know ye that Ramoth in Gilead is ours, and we be still, and take it not out of the hand of the king of Syria?

Împăratul lui Israel a zis slujitorilor săi: „Ştiţi că Ramot din Galaad este al nostru. Şi noi stăm fără grijă, în loc să-l luăm înapoi din mâinile împăratului Siriei.”

And the king of Israel said to his servants, “Do you know that Ramoth-gilead belongs to us, and we keep quiet and do not take it out of the hand of the king of Syria?”

Jósáfáttól pedig azt kérdezte: Feljössz-e velem a harcba Rámót-Gileád ellen? Jósáfát így felelt Izráel királyának: Elmegyek én éppúgy, mint te, az én népem éppúgy, mint a te néped, az én lovaim éppúgy, mint a te lovaid.

És monda Josafátnak: Feljössz-é velem e hadba Rámoth Gileád ellen? Felele Josafát az Izráel királyának: Úgy én, mint te, úgy az én népem, mint a te néped; úgy az én lovaim, mint a te lovaid.

And he said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to Ramothgilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses.

Şi a zis lui Iosafat: „Vrei să vii cu mine să luptăm împotriva Ramotului din Galaad?” Iosafat a răspuns împăratului lui Israel: „Eu voi fi ca tine, poporul meu ca poporul tău, caii mei ca ai tăi.”

And he said to Jehoshaphat, “Will you go with me to battle at Ramoth-gilead?” And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, “I am as you are, my people as your people, my horses as your horses.”

Jósáfát még ezt mondta Izráel királyának: Kérdezd meg előbb az ÚR szavát.

És monda Josafát az Izráel királyának: Kérdezősködjél még ma az Úr beszéde után.

And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day.

Apoi Iosafat a zis împăratului lui Israel: „Întreabă acum, te rog, cuvântul Domnului.”

And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, “Inquire first for the word of the LORD.”

Ezért Izráel királya összegyűjtötte a prófétákat, közel négyszáz férfit, és ezt kérdezte tőlük: Elmenjek-e Rámót-Gileád ellen harcolni, vagy letegyek róla? Ők azt felelték: Menj föl, mert az ÚR a király kezébe adja azt.

És összegyűjté az Izráel királya a prófétákat, közel négyszáz férfiút, és monda nékik: Elmenjek-é Rámoth Gileád ellen hadba, vagy elhagyjam? És mondának: Menj fel; mert az Úr kezébe adja azt a királynak.

Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king.

Împăratul lui Israel a strâns pe proroci, în număr de aproape patru sute, şi le-a zis: „Să merg să lupt împotriva Ramotului din Galaad sau să mă las?” Şi ei au răspuns: „Suie-te, şi Domnul îl va da în mâinile împăratului.”

Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said to them, “Shall I go to battle against Ramoth-gilead, or shall I refrain?” And they said, “Go up, for the Lord will give it into the hand of the king.”

Jósáfát azonban azt mondta: Nincs itt már több prófétája az ÚRnak, akit megkérdezhetnénk?

És monda Josafát: Nincs itt már több prófétája az Úrnak, hogy attól [is] tudakozódhatnánk?

And Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD besides, that we might enquire of him?

Dar Iosafat a zis: „Nu mai este aici niciun proroc al Domnului, ca să-L putem întreba?”

But Jehoshaphat said, “Is there not here another prophet of the LORD of whom we may inquire?”

Izráel királya ezt mondta Jósáfátnak: Még van egy férfi, aki által megkérdezhetjük az URat, Míkájehú, Jimlá fia. De én gyűlölöm őt, mert sohasem jövendöl nekem jót, hanem mindig csak rosszat. Jósáfát azt mondta: Ne beszéljen így a király!

És monda az Izráel királya Josafátnak: Még van egy férfiú, a ki által megkérdhetjük az Urat, Mikeás, a Jemla fia; de én gyűlölöm őt, mert [soha] nem jövendöl nékem jót, hanem mindig csak rosszat. És monda Josafát: Ne beszéljen így a király!

And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.

Împăratul lui Israel a răspuns lui Iosafat: „Mai este un om prin care am putea să întrebăm pe Domnul; dar îl urăsc, căci nu-mi proroceşte nimic bun, nu proroceşte decât rău: este Mica, fiul lui Imla.” Şi Iosafat a zis: „Să nu vorbească împăratul aşa!”

And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of the LORD, Micaiah the son of Imlah, but I hate him, for he never prophesies good concerning me, but evil.” And Jehoshaphat said, “Let not the king say so.”

Akkor Izráel királya előszólította egyik udvari emberét, és azt mondta: Hívd ide hamar Míkájehút, Jimlá fiát.

És előszólíta az Izráel királya egy udvariszolgát, és monda: Hívd ide hamar Mikeást, a Jemla fiát.

Then the king of Israel called an officer, and said, Hasten hither Micaiah the son of Imlah.

Atunci împăratul lui Israel a chemat un dregător şi a zis: „Trimite şi adu îndată pe Mica, fiul lui Imla.”

Then the king of Israel summoned an officer and said, “Bring quickly Micaiah the son of Imlah.”

Akkor Izráel királya és Jósáfát, Júda királya ott ült díszruhába öltözve, mindegyik a maga trónján a Samária kapuja előtti térségen, és a próféták mind ott jövendöltek előttük.

És ott ült az Izráel királya és Josafát, Júda királya, ruhákba öltözötten, mindenik a maga trónusán Samaria kapuja előtt a térségen, és a próféták mind ott jövendöltek előttük.

And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah sat each on his throne, having put on their robes, in a void place in the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them.

Împăratul lui Israel şi Iosafat, împăratul lui Iuda, şedeau fiecare pe scaunul lui de domnie, îmbrăcaţi cu hainele lor împărăteşti, în locul de la intrarea porţii Samariei. Şi toţi prorocii proroceau înaintea lor.

Now the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah were sitting on their thrones, arrayed in their robes, at the threshing floor at the entrance of the gate of Samaria, and all the prophets were prophesying before them.

Cidkijjá, Kenaaná fia vasszarvakat készített magának, és azt mondta: Így szól az ÚR: „Ezekkel ökleled Arámot, míg csak meg nem emészted őket.”

És Sédékiás, a Kénaána fia, vasszarvakat készített, és monda: Ezt mondja az Úr: Ezekkel ökleled a Siriabelieket, míg meg nem emészted őket.

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron: and he said, Thus saith the LORD, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until thou have consumed them.

Zedechia, fiul lui Chenaana, îşi făcuse nişte coarne de fier şi a zis: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Cu coarnele acestea vei bate pe sirieni până îi vei nimici.”

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made for himself horns of iron and said, “Thus says the LORD, ‘With these you shall push the Syrians until they are destroyed.’”

Az összes próféta így jövendölt: Menj föl Rámót-Gileád ellen, és jó szerencsés leszel, mert az ÚR a király kezébe adja azt.

És a próféták is mindnyájan ekképen jövendöltek, mondván: Menj fel Rámoth Gileád ellen, és jó szerencséd lesz; mert azt az Úr a király kezébe adja.

And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramothgilead, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the king's hand.

Şi toţi prorocii proroceau la fel, zicând: „Suie-te la Ramot din Galaad! Căci vei izbândi, şi Domnul îl va da în mâinile împăratului.”

And all the prophets prophesied so and said, “Go up to Ramoth-gilead and triumph; the LORD will give it into the hand of the king.”

A követ pedig, aki elment, hogy elhívja Míkájehút, így szólt neki: Íme, a próféták egybehangzóan jót jövendölnek a királynak. Szólj, kérlek, te is úgy, mint bármelyikük, és jövendölj jót!

And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good.

Solul care se dusese să cheme pe Mica i-a vorbit aşa: „Iată că prorocii, într-un glas, prorocesc bine împăratului; să fie, dar, şi cuvântul tău ca al fiecăruia din ei! Vesteşte-i bine!”

And the messenger who went to summon Micaiah said to him, “Behold, the words of the prophets with one accord are favorable to the king. Let your word be like the word of one of them, and speak favorably.”

De Míkájehú azt mondta: Él az ÚR, hogy csak azt fogom mondani, amit az ÚR mond nekem.

Mikeás pedig monda: Él az Úr, hogy [csak] azt fogom mondani, a mit az Úr mondánd nékem.

And Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth, what the LORD saith unto me, that will I speak.

Mica a răspuns: „Viu este Domnul, că voi vesti ce-mi va spune Domnul.”

But Micaiah said, “As the LORD lives, what the LORD says to me, that I will speak.”

Amikor a királyhoz érkezett, azt mondta neki a király: Míkájehú! Elmenjünk-e Rámót-Gileád ellen harcolni, vagy hagyjuk? Ő azt mondta neki: Menj föl, és járj szerencsével. Az ÚR a kezébe adja azt a királynak.

És mikor a királyhoz ment, monda néki a király: Mikeás! elmenjünk-é Rámoth Gileád ellen hadba, vagy elhagyjuk? Ő pedig monda néki: Menj fel és járj szerencsével; az Úr kezébe adja [azt] a királynak.

So he came to the king. And the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall we forbear? And he answered him, Go, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king.

Când a ajuns la împărat, împăratul i-a zis: „Mica, să mergem să luptăm împotriva Ramotului din Galaad sau să ne lăsăm?” El a răspuns: „Suie-te, căci vei izbândi, şi Domnul îl va da în mâinile împăratului.”

And when he had come to the king, the king said to him, “Micaiah, shall we go to Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall we refrain?” And he answered him, “Go up and triumph; the LORD will give it into the hand of the king.”

A király azonban ezt mondta: Még hányszor kényszerítselek téged, hogy ne mondj mást nekem az ÚR nevében, csak az igazat!

És monda néki a király: Még hányszor kényszerítselek téged, hogy az igaznál egyebet ne mondj nékem az Úr nevében?

And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but that which is true in the name of the LORD?

Şi împăratul i-a zis: „De câte ori trebuie să te pun să juri că nu-mi vei spune decât adevărul în Numele Domnului?”

But the king said to him, “How many times shall I make you swear that you speak to me nothing but the truth in the name of the LORD?”

Erre azt mondta: Láttam az egész Izráelt szétszéledve a hegyeken, mint a juhokat, amelyeknek nincs pásztoruk. Az ÚR pedig ezt mondta: Nincs ezeknek gazdájuk? Térjen vissza mindenki a maga házához békességgel.

És monda: Látám az egész Izráelt szétszéledve a hegyeken, mint a juhokat, a melyeknek nincsen pásztoruk. És monda az Úr: Nincsen ezeknek urok? Térjen vissza kiki az ő házához békességben.

And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace.

Mica a răspuns: „Văd tot Israelul risipit pe munţi, ca nişte oi care n-au păstor. Şi Domnul zice: „Oamenii aceştia n-au stăpân; să se întoarcă fiecare acasă în pace.”

And he said, “I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. And the LORD said, ‘These have no master; let each return to his home in peace.’”

Ekkor Izráel királya így szólt Jósáfáthoz: Hát nem mondtam neked, hogy soha jót nem jövendöl nekem, hanem csak rosszat?!

És monda az Izráel királya Josafátnak: Nemde nem megmondottam-é néked, hogy [soha] jót nékem nem jövendöl, hanem [csak ]rosszat.

And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would prophesy no good concerning me, but evil?

Împăratul lui Israel a zis lui Iosafat: „Nu ţi-am spus că el nu proroceşte nimic bun despre mine, ci proroceşte numai rău?”

And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “Did I not tell you that he would not prophesy good concerning me, but evil?”

Míkájehú pedig azt mondta: Halld meg most az ÚR beszédét: Láttam az URat trónusán ülve, és az egész mennyei sereg ott állt jobbján és balján.

És monda [Mikeás:] Azért halld meg most az Úr beszédét: Látám az Urat az ő székiben ülni, és az egész mennyei sereget az ő jobb- és balkeze felől mellette állani.

And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

Şi Mica a zis: „Ascultă, dar, cuvântul Domnului! Am văzut pe Domnul stând pe scaunul Lui de domnie şi toată oştirea cerurilor stând lângă El, la dreapta şi la stânga Lui.

And Micaiah said, “Therefore hear the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing beside him on his right hand and on his left;

És azt mondta az ÚR: Ki fogja rászedni Ahábot, hogy fölvonuljon, és elvesszen Rámót-Gileádnál? Erre ki ezt, ki azt mondott.

És monda az Úr: Kicsoda csalja meg Akhábot, hogy felmenjen, és elvesszen Rámoth Gileádnál? És ki egyet, ki mást szól vala hozzá.

And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.

Şi Domnul a zis: „Cine va amăgi pe Ahab, ca să se suie la Ramot din Galaad şi să piară acolo?” Şi au răspuns unul într-un fel, altul într-altul.

and the LORD said, ‘Who will entice Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead?’ And one said one thing, and another said another.

Akkor előjött egy lélek, megállt az ÚR előtt, és így szólt: Én akarom megcsalni őt. Az ÚR pedig megkérdezte tőle: Hogyan?

Akkor előjőve egy lélek, a ki az Úr eleibe álla, és monda: Én akarom megcsalni őt. Az Úr pedig monda néki: Miképen?

And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him.

Şi un duh a venit şi s-a înfăţişat înaintea Domnului şi a zis: „Eu îl voi amăgi.”

Then a spirit came forward and stood before the LORD, saying, ‘I will entice him.’

Így felelt: Elmegyek, és hazug lélek leszek minden próféta szájában. Akkor azt mondta az ÚR: Csald meg és győzd meg. Menj el, és tégy így!

És felele: Kimegyek és hazug lélek leszek minden ő prófétáinak szájában. Akkor monda [az Úr:] Csald meg és győzd meg; menj ki, és cselekedjél úgy.

And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persude him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.

Domnul i-a zis: „Cum?” „Voi ieşi”, a răspuns el, „şi voi fi un duh de minciună în gura tuturor prorocilor lui.” Domnul a zis: „Îl vei amăgi şi-ţi vei ajunge ţinta; ieşi şi fă aşa!”

And the LORD said to him, ‘By what means?’ And he said, ‘I will go out, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ And he said, ‘You are to entice him, and you shall succeed; go out and do so.’

Íme, az ÚR így adott hazug lelket valamennyi prófétád szájába, és az ÚR szólt veszedelmes dolgot ellened.

Ímé az Úr a hazugságnak lelkét adta mindezeknek a te prófétáidnak szájába; és az Úr szólott veszedelmes dolgot ellened.

Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.

Şi acum, iată că Domnul a pus un duh de minciună în gura tuturor prorocilor tăi care sunt de faţă. Dar Domnul a hotărât lucruri rele împotriva ta.”

Now therefore behold, the LORD has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets; the LORD has declared disaster for you.”

Akkor odalépett Cidkijjá, Kenaaná fia, arcon csapta Míkájehút, és azt mondta: Hogyan? Eltávozott volna tőlem az ÚR lelke, és csak veled beszél?

Akkor odalépett Sédékiás, a Kénaána fia, és arczul csapván Mikeást, monda: Hogyan? Eltávozott volna én tőlem az Úrnak lelke, hogy csak néked szólana?

But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak unto thee?

Atunci Zedechia, fiul lui Chenaana, apropiindu-se, a lovit pe Mica peste obraz şi a zis: „Pe unde a ieşit Duhul Domnului din mine ca să-ţi vorbească?”

Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near and struck Micaiah on the cheek and said, “How did the Spirit of the LORD go from me to speak to you?”

Erre azt mondta Míkájehú: Íme, meglátod azon a napon, amikor majd szobáról szobára mész, hogy elrejtőzhess.

És monda Mikeás: Ímé meglátod azon a napon, a mikor az egyik kamarából a másik kamarába mégy be, hogy elrejtőzhess.

And Micaiah said, Behold, thou shalt see in that day, when thou shalt go into an inner chamber to hide thyself.

Mica a răspuns: „Vei vedea în ziua când vei umbla din odaie în odaie ca să te ascunzi.”

And Micaiah said, “Behold, you shall see on that day when you go into an inner chamber to hide yourself.”

Izráel királya pedig azt mondta: Fogd Míkájehút, és vidd vissza őt Ámónhoz, a város parancsnokához és Jóáshoz, a királyfihoz,

Az Izráel királya pedig monda: Fogjad Mikeást, és vidd vissza őt Ammonhoz, a város fejedelméhez, és Joáshoz, a király fiához;

And the king of Israel said, Take Micaiah, and carry him back unto Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king's son;

Împăratul lui Israel a zis: „Ia pe Mica, du-l la Amon, mai marele cetăţii, şi la Ioas, fiul împăratului,

And the king of Israel said, “Seize Micaiah, and take him back to Amon the governor of the city and to Joash the king’s son,

és mondd: Ezt mondja a király: Vessétek tömlöcbe, és a nyomorúság kenyerével és a nyomorúság vizével tápláljátok addig, amíg békességben vissza nem térek.

És mondjad: Ezt mondja a király: Vessétek ezt a tömlöczbe, és tápláljátok őt a nyomorúság kenyerével és a nyomorúság vizével, míg békességgel megjövök.

And say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace.

şi să le spui: „Aşa vorbeşte împăratul: „Puneţi pe omul acesta la închisoare şi hrăniţi-l cu pâinea şi cu apa întristării, până când mă voi întoarce în pace.”

and say, ‘Thus says the king, “Put this fellow in prison and feed him meager rations of bread and water, until I come in peace.”’”

Míkájehú így szólt: Ha csakugyan békében térsz vissza, nem az ÚR szólt általam. Azután azt mondta: Hallja meg ezt az egész nép!

Monda pedig Mikeás: Ha békességgel térsz vissza, nem az Úr szólott én általam. Azután monda: Halljátok ezt meg minden népek!

And Micaiah said, If thou return at all in peace, the LORD hath not spoken by me. And he said, Hearken, O people, every one of you.

Şi Mica a zis: „Dacă te vei întoarce în pace, Domnul n-a vorbit prin mine.” Apoi a mai zis: „Auziţi, popoare, toate!”

And Micaiah said, “If you return in peace, the LORD has not spoken by me.” And he said, “Hear, all you peoples!”

Azután fölvonult Izráel királya és Jósáfát, Júda királya Rámót-Gileád ellen.

És felvonult az Izráel királya, és Josafát, a Júda királya Rámoth Gileád [ellen.

So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramothgilead.

So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramoth-gilead.

Izráel királya azt mondta Jósáfátnak: Én álruhába öltözöm, és úgy megyek a csatába, te pedig öltözz a saját ruhádba. Izráel királya tehát álruhába öltözött, és úgy ment a csatába.

És monda az Izráel királya Josafátnak: Megváltoztatom ruhámat, és úgy megyek a viadalra, te pedig öltözzél fel ruhádba. És elváltoztatá ruháját az Izráel királya, és úgy méne a viadalra.

And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and enter into the battle; but put thou on thy robes. And the king of Israel disguised himself, and went into the battle.

Împăratul lui Israel a zis lui Iosafat: „Vreau să-mi schimb hainele ca să merg la luptă; dar tu, îmbracă-te cu hainele tale împărăteşti.” Şi împăratul lui Israel şi-a schimbat hainele şi s-a dus la luptă.

And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “I will disguise myself and go into battle, but you wear your robes.” And the king of Israel disguised himself and went into battle.

Arám királya pedig azt parancsolta harci szekerei harminckét parancsnokának: Ne támadjatok se kicsinyre, se nagyra, hanem egyedül csak Izráel királyára.

Siria királya pedig megparancsolá az ő szekerei harminczkét fejedelmeinek, mondván: Ne vívjatok se kicsinynyel, se nagygyal, hanem egyedül csak az Izráel királya ellen vívjatok.

But the king of Syria commanded his thirty and two captains that had rule over his chariots, saying, Fight neither with small nor great, save only with the king of Israel.

Împăratul Siriei dăduse următoarea poruncă celor treizeci şi două de căpetenii ale carelor lui: „Să nu vă luptaţi nici cu cei mici, nici cu cei mari, ci să vă luptaţi numai cu împăratul lui Israel.”

Now the king of Syria had commanded the thirty-two captains of his chariots, “Fight with neither small nor great, but only with the king of Israel.”

Amikor meglátták a szekerek parancsnokai Jósáfátot, azt mondták: Nyilván ő Izráel királya! Ezért rárohantak, és hadakoztak ellene. De Jósáfát elkezdett kiáltozni.

És a mikor meglátták a szekerek fejedelmei Josafátot, mondának: Nyilván ez az Izráel királya; és reá rohanván vívának ellene. De Josafát [elkezdett] kiáltani.

And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, Surely it is the king of Israel. And they turned aside to fight against him: and Jehoshaphat cried out.

Când au zărit căpeteniile carelor pe Iosafat, au zis: „Negreşit, acesta este împăratul lui Israel.” Şi s-au apropiat de el să-l lovească. Iosafat a scos un ţipăt.

And when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, they said, “It is surely the king of Israel.” So they turned to fight against him. And Jehoshaphat cried out.

And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots perceived that it was not the king of Israel, that they turned back from pursuing him.

Egy ember pedig csak úgy találomra kilőtte a nyilát, és eltalálta Izráel királyát a páncél és a kapocs között. Erre azt mondta a kocsihajtójának: Fordulj meg, és vigyél ki a táborból, mert megsebesültem!

Egy ember pedig [csak úgy] találomra kilövé az ő kézívét, és találá az Izráel királyát a pánczél és a kapocs között. És ő monda a kocsisának: Fordulj meg és vigy ki engem a táborból, mert megsebesültem!

And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: wherefore he said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn thine hand, and carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.

Atunci un om a tras cu arcul la întâmplare şi a lovit pe împăratul lui Israel la încheietura platoşei. Împăratul a zis cărăuşului său: „Întoarce şi scoate-mă din câmpul de bătaie, căci sunt greu rănit.”

But a certain man drew his bow at random and struck the king of Israel between the scale armor and the breastplate. Therefore he said to the driver of his chariot, “Turn around and carry me out of the battle, for I am wounded.”

De az ütközet egyre erősebb lett azon a napon, és a királynak a szekerében állva kellett maradnia az arámokkal szemben. És estefelé meghalt, és a vér a sebből a szekérbe csorgott.

És az ütközet mind erősebb lett azon a napon, és a király az ő szekerében állott a Siriabeliek ellen, és meghalt este [felé,] és a vér a sebből a szekérbe csorgott.

And the battle increased that day: and the king was stayed up in his chariot against the Syrians, and died at even: and the blood ran out of the wound into the midst of the chariot.

And the battle continued that day, and the king was propped up in his chariot facing the Syrians, until at evening he died. And the blood of the wound flowed into the bottom of the chariot.

And one washed the chariot in the pool of Samaria; and the dogs licked up his blood; and they washed his armour; according unto the word of the LORD which he spake.

Când au spălat carul în iazul Samariei, câinii au lins sângele lui Ahab, şi curvele s-au scăldat în el, după cuvântul pe care-l spusese Domnul.

And they washed the chariot by the pool of Samaria, and the dogs licked up his blood, and the prostitutes washed themselves in it, according to the word of the LORD that he had spoken.

Aháb más dolgai pedig és minden cselekedete, az elefántcsontból épített ház és az összes város, amelyeket épített, nincsenek-e följegyezve Izráel királyainak krónikáskönyvében?

Akhábnak egyéb dolgai pedig és minden cselekedetei, az elefántcsontból építtetett ház, és mind a városok, a melyeket épített, vajjon nincsenek- é megírva az Izráel királyainak krónika-könyvében?

Now the rest of the acts of Ahab, and all that he did, and the ivory house which he made, and all the cities that he built, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

Celelalte fapte ale lui Ahab, tot ce a făcut el, casa de fildeş pe care a zidit-o şi toate cetăţile pe care le-a zidit nu sunt scrise oare în cartea Cronicilor împăraţilor lui Israel?

Now the rest of the acts of Ahab and all that he did, and the ivory house that he built and all the cities that he built, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?

Jósáfát harmincöt éves volt, amikor uralkodni kezdett, és huszonöt esztendeig uralkodott Jeruzsálemben. Anyja neve Azúbá volt, Silhi lánya.

És Josafát harminczöt esztendős volt, mikor uralkodni kezdett, és huszonöt esztendeig uralkodott Jeruzsálemben. Az ő anyjának Azuba volt a neve, Silhi leánya.

Jehoshaphat was thirty and five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi.

And he walked in all the ways of Asa his father; he turned not aside from it, doing that which was right in the eyes of the LORD: nevertheless the high places were not taken away; for the people offered and burnt incense yet in the high places.

He walked in all the way of Asa his father. He did not turn aside from it, doing what was right in the sight of the LORD. Yet the high places were not taken away, and the people still sacrificed and made offerings on the high places.

Then said Ahaziah the son of Ahab unto Jehoshaphat, Let my servants go with thy servants in the ships. But Jehoshaphat would not.

Akkor azt mondta Ahazjá, Aháb fia Jósáfátnak: Hadd menjenek el a szolgáim a te szolgáiddal együtt e hajókon. De Jósáfát nem akarta.

And Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Jehoram his son reigned in his stead.

Ahazjá pedig, Aháb fia Jósáfátnak, Júda királyának tizenhetedik esztendejében kezdett uralkodni Izráelen Samáriában, és két évig uralkodott Izráelben.

And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of his father, and in the way of his mother, and in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin:

El a făcut ce este rău înaintea Domnului şi a umblat în calea tatălui său şi în calea mamei sale şi în calea lui Ieroboam, fiul lui Nebat, care făcuse pe Israel să păcătuiască.

He did what was evil in the sight of the LORD and walked in the way of his father and in the way of his mother and in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

És gonoszul cselekedett az ÚR szemében, mert apjának és anyjának meg Jeroboámnak, Nebát fiának az útján járt, aki bűnbe vitte Izráelt.

For he served Baal, and worshipped him, and provoked to anger the LORD God of Israel, according to all that his father had done.

He served Baal and worshiped him and provoked the LORD, the God of Israel, to anger in every way that his father had done.
