And Jeroboam said to his wife, Arise, I pray thee, and disguise thyself, that thou be not known to be the wife of Jeroboam; and get thee to Shiloh: behold, there is Ahijah the prophet, which told me that I should be king over this people.

And Jeroboam said to his wife, “Arise, and disguise yourself, that it not be known that you are the wife of Jeroboam, and go to Shiloh. Behold, Ahijah the prophet is there, who said of me that I should be king over this people.

Így is cselekedett Jeroboám felesége. Fölkészült, és elment Silóba, és bement Ahijjá házába. Ahijjá azonban már nem látott, mert meghomályosodott a szeme a vénség miatt.

És e képen cselekedék a Jeroboám felesége; és felkészülvén, elméne Silóba, és beméne az Ahija házába. Ahija azonban már nem látott; mert meghomályosodtak az ő szemei a vénség miatt.

And Jeroboam's wife did so, and arose, and went to Shiloh, and came to the house of Ahijah. But Ahijah could not see; for his eyes were set by reason of his age.

Jeroboam’s wife did so. She arose and went to Shiloh and came to the house of Ahijah. Now Ahijah could not see, for his eyes were dim because of his age.

And the LORD said unto Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam cometh to ask a thing of thee for her son; for he is sick: thus and thus shalt thou say unto her: for it shall be, when she cometh in, that she shall feign herself to be another woman.

And the LORD said to Ahijah, “Behold, the wife of Jeroboam is coming to inquire of you concerning her son, for he is sick. Thus and thus shall you say to her.” When she came, she pretended to be another woman.

And it was so, when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet, as she came in at the door, that he said, Come in, thou wife of Jeroboam; why feignest thou thyself to be another? for I am sent to thee with heavy tidings.

But when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet, as she came in at the door, he said, “Come in, wife of Jeroboam. Why do you pretend to be another? For I am charged with unbearable news for you.

Go, tell Jeroboam, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Forasmuch as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee prince over my people Israel,

And rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it thee: and yet thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only which was right in mine eyes;

Te gonoszabbul cselekedtél mindazoknál, akik előtted voltak. Mert elmentél, és idegen isteneket csináltál magadnak, és öntött bálványokat, hogy engem haragra ingerelj; és engem a hátad mögé vetettél.

But hast done evil above all that were before thee: for thou hast gone and made thee other gods, and molten images, to provoke me to anger, and hast cast me behind thy back:

but you have done evil above all who were before you and have gone and made for yourself other gods and metal images, provoking me to anger, and have cast me behind your back,

Azért íme, veszedelmet hozok Jeroboám házára, és kiirtom Jeroboámnak még az ebét is, a szolgát és a szabadot Izráelben, és kihányom Jeroboám házának a maradékait, ahogy a ganéjt kihányják, míg vége nem lesz.

Azért ímé én veszedelmet hozok a Jeroboám házára, és kiirtom Jeroboámnak még az ebét is, és mind a berekesztettet, mind az elhagyottat Izráelben, és kihányom a Jeroboám háza maradékait, miképen a ganéjt kihányják, mígnem vége lesz.

Therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel, and will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as a man taketh away dung, till it be all gone.

De aceea, voi trimite nenorocirea peste casa lui Ieroboam, voi nimici pe oricine este al lui Ieroboam, fie rob, fie slobod în Israel, şi voi mătura casa lui Ieroboam, cum se mătură murdăriile, până va pieri.

therefore behold, I will bring harm upon the house of Jeroboam and will cut off from Jeroboam every male, both bond and free in Israel, and will burn up the house of Jeroboam, as a man burns up dung until it is all gone.

Aki Jeroboám maradékai közül a városban hal meg, azt az ebek falják fel, aki pedig a mezőn hal meg, azt az égi madarak, mert az ÚR szólt.

A ki meghal a Jeroboám [maradékai] közül a városban, azt az ebek eszik meg; a ki pedig a mezőn hal meg, az égi madarak eszik meg; mert az Úr szólott.

Him that dieth of Jeroboam in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat: for the LORD hath spoken it.

Cel ce va muri în cetate din casa lui Ieroboam va fi mâncat de câini, şi cel ce va muri pe câmp va fi mâncat de păsările cerului. Căci Domnul a vorbit.

Anyone belonging to Jeroboam who dies in the city the dogs shall eat, and anyone who dies in the open country the birds of the heavens shall eat, for the LORD has spoken it.”’

Te pedig kelj föl, és menj haza, mert amint belépsz a városba, meghal a gyermek.

Arise thou therefore, get thee to thine own house: and when thy feet enter into the city, the child shall die.

Tu, scoală-te şi du-te acasă. Şi cum îţi vor păşi picioarele în cetate, copilul va muri.

Arise therefore, go to your house. When your feet enter the city, the child shall die.

Egész Izráel siratni fogja és eltemeti őt. Jeroboám magvából csak egyedül őt temetik sírba, mivel Jeroboám háza népe közül az ÚR iránt, Izráel Istene iránt csak őbenne volt található valami jó.

És az egész Izráel siratja őt, és eltemeti őt, mert a Jeroboám magvából csak egyedül ő temettetik el sírba, mivel a Jeroboám háznépe közül az Úr iránt, Izráel Istene iránt csak ő benne találtatott valami jó.

And all Israel shall mourn for him, and bury him: for he only of Jeroboam shall come to the grave, because in him there is found some good thing toward the LORD God of Israel in the house of Jeroboam.

And all Israel shall mourn for him and bury him, for he only of Jeroboam shall come to the grave, because in him there is found something pleasing to the LORD, the God of Israel, in the house of Jeroboam.

Támaszt majd az ÚR magának egy királyt Izráelben, aki kiirtja Jeroboám házát egy napon. De még más is következik!

És támaszt az Úr magának királyt Izráelben, a ki kigyomlálja a Jeroboám házát egy napon. De mit [mondok?] Már [is támasztott!

Moreover the LORD shall raise him up a king over Israel, who shall cut off the house of Jeroboam that day: but what? even now.

Domnul va pune peste Israel un împărat, care va nimici casa lui Ieroboam în ziua aceea. Şi nu se întâmplă oare chiar acum lucrul acesta?

Moreover, the LORD will raise up for himself a king over Israel who shall cut off the house of Jeroboam today. And henceforth,

Megveri az ÚR Izráelt, és ingadozni fog, ahogy a nád a vízben ide s tova hányódik, és elszakítja Izráelt erről a jó földről, amelyet atyáinak adott, és szétszórja őket a folyamon túlra, mivel bálványokat csináltak maguknak, hogy az URat ingereljék.

És megveri az Úr az Izráelt, mint a hogy a nád a vízben ide s tova hányattatik, és elszakasztja az Izráelt erről a jó földről, a melyet adott az ő atyáiknak, és szétszórja őket a folyóvizen túl, mivelhogy Aserákat csináltak magoknak, hogy az Urat ingereljék.

For the LORD shall smite Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and he shall root up Israel out of this good land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall scatter them beyond the river, because they have made their groves, provoking the LORD to anger.

Domnul va lovi pe Israel, şi Israel va fi ca trestia clătinată în ape; va smulge pe Israel din această ţară bună, pe care o dăduse părinţilor lor, şi-i va împrăştia dincolo de Râu, pentru că şi-au făcut idoli, mâniind pe Domnul.

the LORD will strike Israel as a reed is shaken in the water, and root up Israel out of this good land that he gave to their fathers and scatter them beyond the Euphrates, because they have made their Asherim, provoking the LORD to anger.

És kiszolgáltatja Izráelt Jeroboám bűnei miatt, amelyeket elkövetett, és amelyekkel Izráelt is bűnbe ejtette.

And he shall give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, who did sin, and who made Israel to sin.

And he will give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, which he sinned and made Israel to sin.”

And Jeroboam's wife arose, and departed, and came to Tirzah: and when she came to the threshold of the door, the child died;

Then Jeroboam’s wife arose and departed and came to Tirzah. And as she came to the threshold of the house, the child died.

Eltemették őt és egész Izráel siratta az ÚR szava szerint, amelyet szolgája, Ahijjá próféta által szólt.

And they buried him; and all Israel mourned for him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by the hand of his servant Ahijah the prophet.

And the rest of the acts of Jeroboam, how he warred, and how he reigned, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

Az az idő, amíg Jeroboám uralkodott, huszonkét esztendő volt. És elaludván atyáihoz tért, és fia, Nádáb uralkodott utána.

And the days which Jeroboam reigned were two and twenty years: and he slept with his fathers, and Nadab his son reigned in his stead.

And Rehoboam the son of Solomon reigned in Judah. Rehoboam was forty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which the LORD did choose out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there. And his mother's name was Naamah an Ammonitess.

Roboam, fiul lui Solomon, a împărăţit peste Iuda. Avea patruzeci şi unu de ani când s-a făcut împărat şi a împărăţit şaptesprezece ani la Ierusalim, cetatea pe care o alesese Domnul din toate seminţiile lui Israel, ca să-Şi pună Numele în ea. Mama sa se chema Naama, amonita.

Now Rehoboam the son of Solomon reigned in Judah. Rehoboam was forty-one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city that the LORD had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there. His mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonite.

And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.

and there were also male cult prostitutes in the land. They did according to all the abominations of the nations that the LORD drove out before the people of Israel.

Roboám király ötödik esztendejében felvonult Sisák egyiptomi király Jeruzsálem ellen.

És lőn Roboám király ötödik esztendejében, feljött Sisák, az Égyiptombeli király Jeruzsálem ellen.

And it came to pass in the fifth year of king Rehoboam, that Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem:

In the fifth year of King Rehoboam, Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem.

And he took away the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king's house; he even took away all: and he took away all the shields of gold which Solomon had made.

And king Rehoboam made in their stead brasen shields, and committed them unto the hands of the chief of the guard, which kept the door of the king's house.

And it was so, when the king went into the house of the LORD, that the guard bare them, and brought them back into the guard chamber.

Now the rest of the acts of Rehoboam, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
