A gileádi Tisbéből való Illés azt mondta Ahábnak: Él az ÚR, Izráel Istene, akinek szolgálatában állok, hogy ezekben az esztendőkben nem lesz sem harmat, sem eső, hanem csak az én szavamra.

És szóla Thesbites Illés, a Gileád lakói közül, Akhábnak: Él az Úr, az Izráel Istene, a ki előtt állok, hogy ez esztendőkben sem harmat, sem eső nem lészen; hanem csak az én beszédem szerint.

And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

Ilie, tişbitul, unul din locuitorii Galaadului, a zis lui Ahab: „Viu este Domnul Dumnezeul lui Israel al cărui slujitor sunt, că în anii aceştia nu va fi nici rouă, nici ploaie, decât după cuvântul meu.”

Now Elijah the Tishbite, of Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the LORD, the God of Israel, lives, before whom I stand, there shall be neither dew nor rain these years, except by my word.”

Ezután így szólt hozzá az ÚR szava:

És lőn az Úrnak beszéde ő hozzá, mondván:

And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,

Şi cuvântul Domnului a vorbit lui Ilie cu aceste vorbe:

And the word of the LORD came to him:

Menj el innen, menj kelet felé, és rejtőzz el a Kerít-patak mellett, amely a Jordánba folyik.

Menj el innét, és menj napkelet felé, és rejtezzél el a Kérith patakja mellett, mely a Jordán felé [folyik.]

Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.

„Pleacă de aici, îndreaptă-te spre răsărit şi ascunde-te lângă pârâul Cherit, care este în faţa Iordanului.

“Depart from here and turn eastward and hide yourself by the brook Cherith, which is east of the Jordan.

A patakból fogsz inni, a hollóknak pedig megparancsoltam, hogy tápláljanak ott téged.

És a patakból lesz néked italod; a hollóknak pedig megparancsoltam, hogy tápláljanak téged ott.

And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.

Vei bea apă din pârâu, şi am poruncit corbilor să te hrănească acolo.”

You shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.”

Elment azért, és az ÚR beszéde szerint cselekedett. Elment, és leült a Kerít-patak mellett, amely a Jordánba folyik.

Elméne azért, és az Úrnak beszéde szerint cselekedék; és elméne és leüle a Kérith patakja mellett, a mely a Jordán felé [folyik.]

So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.

El a plecat şi a făcut după cuvântul Domnului. S-a dus şi s-a aşezat lângă pârâul Cherit, care este în faţa Iordanului.

So he went and did according to the word of the LORD. He went and lived by the brook Cherith that is east of the Jordan.

And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.

Corbii îi aduceau pâine şi carne dimineaţa şi pâine şi carne seara, şi bea apă din pârâu.

And the ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook.

Néhány nap múlva kiszáradt a patak, mert nem esett eső a földre.

És lőn néhány nap múlva, hogy kiszáradt a patak; mert nem volt eső a földre.

And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.

Dar după câtăva vreme, pârâul a secat, căci nu căzuse ploaie în ţară.

And after a while the brook dried up, because there was no rain in the land.

Ekkor így szólt hozzá az ÚR szava:

És lőn az Úrnak beszéde ő hozzá, mondván:

And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,

Atunci cuvântul Domnului i-a vorbit astfel:

Then the word of the LORD came to him,

Kelj föl, menj el Sareptába, amely Szidónhoz tartozik, és maradj ott! Íme, megparancsoltam ott egy özvegyasszonynak, hogy gondoskodjék rólad.

Kelj fel, és menj el Sareptába, a mely Sídonhoz tartozik, és légy ott; ímé megparancsoltam ott egy özvegyasszonynak, hogy gondoskodjék rólad.

Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.

„Scoală-te, du-te la Sarepta, care ţine de Sidon, şi rămâi acolo. Iată că am poruncit acolo unei femei văduve să te hrănească.”

“Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to feed you.”

Erre fölkelt, elment Sareptába. Amikor a város kapujához érkezett, íme, éppen ott volt egy özvegyasszony, aki fát szedegetett. Megszólította őt, és ezt mondta: Kérlek, hozz nekem egy edényben egy kis vizet, hogy igyam!

És felkelvén, elméne Sareptába, és mikor a város kapujához érkezett, ímé egy özvegyasszony volt ott, a ki fát szedegetett, és megszólítván azt, monda néki: Hozz, kérlek, egy kevés vizet nékem valami edényben, hogy igyam.

So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.

Ilie s-a sculat şi s-a dus la Sarepta. Când a ajuns la poarta cetăţii, acolo era o femeie văduvă care strângea lemne. El a chemat-o şi a zis: „Du-te şi adu-mi, te rog, puţină apă într-un vas, ca să beau.”

So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks. And he called to her and said, “Bring me a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.”

Amikor az elment, hogy vizet hozzon, utánakiáltott, és azt mondta neki: Kérlek, hozz egy falat kenyeret is a kezedben.

De mikor az elment, hogy [vizet] hozzon, utána kiáltott, és monda néki: Hozz, kérlek, egy falat kenyeret is kezedben.

And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.

Pe când se ducea ea să-i aducă, a chemat-o din nou şi a zis: „Adu-mi, te rog, şi o bucată de pâine în mâna ta.”

And as she was going to bring it, he called to her and said, “Bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.”

De az asszony így felelt: Él az ÚR, a te Istened, hogy nincs kenyerem, csak egy marék lisztecském van a vékában, egy kevés olajam a korsóban, és most éppen egy pár darab fát szedegetek, hogy hazamenjek, és elkészítsem azt magamnak és a fiamnak, hogy megegyük. Ha azt megettük, meghalunk.

Az pedig monda: Él az Úr, a te Istened, hogy nincs semmi [sült] kenyerem, csak egy marok lisztecském van a vékában, és egy kevés olajom a korsóban, és most egy kis fát szedegetek, és haza megyek, és megkészítem azt magamnak és az én fiamnak, hogy megegyük és azután meghaljunk.

And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.

Şi ea a răspuns: „Viu este Domnul Dumnezeul tău, că n-am nimic copt, n-am decât un pumn de făină într-o oală şi puţin untdelemn într-un ulcior. Şi iată, strâng două bucăţi de lemne, apoi mă voi întoarce şi voi pregăti ce am pentru mine şi pentru fiul meu: vom mânca şi apoi vom muri.”

And she said, “As the LORD your God lives, I have nothing baked, only a handful of flour in a jar and a little oil in a jug. And now I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it and die.”

Illés ezt mondta neki: Ne félj, menj el, és tégy úgy, amint mondtad. De előbb nekem süss abból egy kis lepényt, és hozd ide, magadnak és a fiadnak pedig csak azután süss.

Monda pedig néki Illés: Ne félj, menj el, cselekedjél a te beszéded szerint; de mindazáltal nékem süss abból először egy kis pogácsát, és hozd ide; magadnak és a te fiadnak pedig azután süss;

And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.

Ilie i-a zis: „Nu te teme, întoarce-te şi fă cum ai zis. Numai, pregăteşte-mi întâi mie, cu untdelemnul şi făina aceea, o mică turtă şi adu-mi-o; pe urmă să faci şi pentru tine şi pentru fiul tău.

And Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said. But first make me a little cake of it and bring it to me, and afterward make something for yourself and your son.

Mert azt mondja az ÚR, Izráel Istene, hogy sem a lisztesvéka nem ürül ki, sem a korsóból nem fogy el az olaj addig, amíg az ÚR esőt nem ad a föld színére.

Mert azt mondja az Úr, Izráel Istene, hogy sem a vékabeli liszt el nem fogy, sem a korsóbeli olaj meg nem kevesül addig, míg az Úr esőt ád a földnek színére.

For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.

Căci aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeul lui Israel: „Făina din oală nu va scădea, şi untdelemnul din ulcior nu se va împuţina până în ziua când va da Domnul ploaie pe faţa pământului.”

For thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, ‘The jar of flour shall not be spent, and the jug of oil shall not be empty, until the day that the LORD sends rain upon the earth.’”

Az asszony elment, és Illés beszéde szerint cselekedett. És evett ő is, az asszony és a háznépe is naponként.

És ő elméne, és az Illés beszéde szerint cselekedék, és evék mind ő, mind amaz, mind annak háznépe, naponként.

And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.

Ea s-a dus şi a făcut după cuvântul lui Ilie. Şi multă vreme a avut ce să mănânce, ea şi familia ei şi Ilie.

And she went and did as Elijah said. And she and he and her household ate for many days.

A lisztesvéka nem ürült ki, sem az olaj nem fogyott el a korsóból az ÚR ígérete szerint, amelyet megmondott Illés által.

A vékabeli liszt nem fogyott el, sem pedig a korsóbeli olaj nem kevesült meg, az Úrnak beszéde szerint, a melyet szólott Illés által.

And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.

Făina din oală n-a scăzut, şi untdelemnul din ulcior nu s-a împuţinat, după cuvântul pe care-l rostise Domnul prin Ilie.

The jar of flour was not spent, neither did the jug of oil become empty, according to the word of the LORD that he spoke by Elijah.

Történt ezek után, hogy megbetegedett a ház gazdaasszonyának a fia, és az ő betegsége olyan súlyos volt, hogy már a lélegzése is elállt.

És lőn ezek után, hogy megbetegedék a ház gazdasszonyának fia, és az ő betegsége felette nagy vala, annyira, hogy már a lélekzete is elállott.

And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left in him.

După aceea, fiul femeii, stăpâna casei, s-a îmbolnăvit. Şi boala lui a fost atât de cumplită, încât n-a mai rămas suflare în el.

After this the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, became ill. And his illness was so severe that there was no breath left in him.

Azt mondta ezért Illésnek: Mit vétettem ellened, Isten embere? Azért jöttél hozzám, hogy eszembe juttasd álnokságomat, és megöljed a fiamat?

Monda azért Illésnek: Mit vétettem ellened, Istennek embere? Azért jöttél hozzám, hogy eszembe juttassad álnokságomat, és megöljed az én fiamat?

And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son?

Femeia a zis atunci lui Ilie: „Ce am eu a face cu tine, omule al lui Dumnezeu? Ai venit la mine doar ca să aduci aminte lui Dumnezeu de nelegiuirea mea şi să-mi omori astfel fiul?”

And she said to Elijah, “What have you against me, O man of God? You have come to me to bring my sin to remembrance and to cause the death of my son!”

Ő így válaszolt: Add ide a fiadat. És elvette az asszony öléből, fölvitte a felső szobába, amelyben ő lakott, és az ágyára fektette.

És monda néki: Add ide a te fiadat. És ő elvevé azt az ő kebeléről, és felvivé a felházba, a melyben ő lakik vala, és az ő ágyára fekteté.

And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed.

El i-a răspuns: „Dă-mi încoace pe fiul tău.” Şi l-a luat de la sânul femeii, l-a suit în odaia de sus unde locuia el şi l-a culcat pe patul lui.

And he said to her, “Give me your son.” And he took him from her arms and carried him up into the upper chamber where he lodged, and laid him on his own bed.

Akkor így kiáltott az ÚRhoz: Én URam, Istenem, bajt hozol még erre az özvegyre is, akinél lakom, és megölöd a fiát?

Akkor kiálta az Úrhoz, és monda: Én Uram, Istenem, nyomorúságot hozol erre az özvegyre is, a kinél én lakom, hogy az ő fiát megölöd?

And he cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son?

Apoi a chemat pe Domnul şi a zis: „Doamne Dumnezeule, oare atât de mult să mâhneşti Tu chiar pe văduva aceasta, la care am fost primit ca oaspete, încât să-i omori fiul?”

And he cried to the LORD, “O LORD my God, have you brought calamity even upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by killing her son?”

És ráborult háromszor a gyermekre, és így kiáltott az ÚRhoz: Én URam, Istenem, add, hogy visszatérjen e gyermekbe a lelke!

És ráborult háromszor a gyermekre, és felkiáltott az Úrhoz, mondván: Én Uram, Istenem, térítsd vissza e gyermek lelkét ő belé!

And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again.

Şi s-a întins de trei ori peste copil, a chemat pe Domnul şi a zis: „Doamne Dumnezeule, Te rog, fă să se întoarcă sufletul copilului în el!”

Then he stretched himself upon the child three times and cried to the LORD, “O LORD my God, let this child’s life come into him again.”

Az ÚR meghallgatta Illés szavát, visszatért a gyermekbe a lélek, és föléledt.

És meghallgatta az Úr Illés szavát, és megtért a gyermekbe a lélek, és megélede.

And the LORD heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.

Domnul a ascultat glasul lui Ilie, şi sufletul copilului s-a întors în el, şi a înviat.

And the LORD listened to the voice of Elijah. And the life of the child came into him again, and he revived.

Akkor Illés fölvette a gyermeket, levitte a fenti szobából a házba, átadta az anyjának, és azt mondta Illés: Lásd, él a fiad!

És felvévén Illés a gyermeket, alávivé őt a felházból a házba, és adá őt az ő anyjának, és monda Illés: Lássad, él a te fiad!

And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his mother: and Elijah said, See, thy son liveth.

Ilie a luat copilul, l-a coborât jos în casă din odaia de sus şi l-a dat mamei sale. Şi Ilie a zis: „Iată, fiul tău este viu.”

And Elijah took the child and brought him down from the upper chamber into the house and delivered him to his mother. And Elijah said, “See, your son lives.”

Erre az asszony azt mondta Illésnek: Most már tudom, hogy Isten embere vagy, és hogy az ÚR beszéde a te ajkadon igazság.

És monda az asszony Illésnek: Most tudtam meg, hogy te Isten embere vagy, és hogy az Úrnak beszéde a te ajkadon: igazság.

And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the LORD in thy mouth is truth.

Şi femeia a zis lui Ilie: „Cunosc acum că eşti un om al lui Dumnezeu, şi cuvântul Domnului în gura ta este adevăr!”

And the woman said to Elijah, “Now I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the LORD in your mouth is truth.”
