Hírám, Tírusz királya elküldte szolgáit Salamonhoz, amikor meghallotta, hogy őt kenték királlyá apja után, mert Hírám mindig szerette Dávidot.

És Hírám, Tírus királya elküldé az ő szolgáit Salamonhoz, mikor meghallotta, hogy őt kenték királylyá az ő atyja helyett; mert Hírám szerette Dávidot teljes életében.

And Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants unto Solomon; for he had heard that they had anointed him king in the room of his father: for Hiram was ever a lover of David.

Hiram, împăratul Tirului, a trimis pe slujitorii săi la Solomon; căci auzise că fusese uns împărat în locul tatălui său, şi el iubise totdeauna pe David.

Now Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants to Solomon when he heard that they had anointed him king in place of his father, for Hiram always loved David.

Salamon pedig ezt az üzenetet küldte Hírámnak:

És külde Salamon Hírámhoz, ezt izenvén néki:

And Solomon sent to Hiram, saying,

And Solomon sent word to Hiram,

Te is tudod, hogy Dávid nem építhetett házat Istene, az ÚR nevének a háborúk miatt, amelyekben forgolódnia kellett, míg az ÚR lába alá nem vetette ellenségeit.

Te tudod, hogy Dávid, az én atyám nem építhete házat az Úrnak, az ő Istenének nevének a háborúk miatt, a melyekkel őt körülvették vala, mígnem az Úr az ő lábainak talpa alá vetette azokat;

Thou knowest how that David my father could not build an house unto the name of the LORD his God for the wars which were about him on every side, until the LORD put them under the soles of his feet.

„Ştii că tatăl meu, David, n-a putut să zidească o Casă Domnului Dumnezeului lui, din pricina războaielor cu care l-au înconjurat vrăjmaşii lui, până ce Domnul i-a pus sub talpa picioarelor lui.

“You know that David my father could not build a house for the name of the LORD his God because of the warfare with which his enemies surrounded him, until the LORD put them under the soles of his feet.

De most az én Istenem, az ÚR nyugalmat adott nekem mindenfelől, semmiféle ellenségem és senkitől semmiféle bántásom nincs.

De most az Úr, az én Istenem nékem nyugodalmat adott mindenfelől, [úgy hogy] semmi ellenségem és senkitől semmi bántásom nincs.

But now the LORD my God hath given me rest on every side, so that there is neither adversary nor evil occurrent.

Acum Domnul Dumnezeul meu mi-a dat odihnă din toate părţile; nu mai am nici potrivnic, nici nenorociri!

But now the LORD my God has given me rest on every side. There is neither adversary nor misfortune.

Íme, azt gondoltam tehát magamban, hogy házat építek Istenem, az ÚR nevének aszerint, amit az ÚR apámnak, Dávidnak mondott ekképpen: Fiad, akit utánad ültetek trónodra, ő építi meg azt a házat az én nevemnek.

Ímé azt gondoltam magamban, hogy házat építek az Úrnak, az én Istenemnek nevének, a miképen szólott az Úr Dávidnak, az én atyámnak, ezt mondván: A te fiad, a kit helyetted ültetek a te királyi székedbe, ő építi meg azt a házat az én nevemnek.

And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my name.

Iată că am de gând să zidesc o Casă Numelui Domnului Dumnezeului meu, cum a spus Domnul, tatălui meu, David, zicând: „Fiul tău, pe care-l voi pune în locul tău pe scaunul tău de domnie, el va zidi o Casă Numelui Meu.”

And so I intend to build a house for the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD said to David my father, ‘Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place, shall build the house for my name.’

Most azért parancsold meg, hogy vágjanak nekem cédrusfákat a Libánonon. Szolgáim együtt lesznek a te szolgáiddal, a te szolgáidnak pedig megadom a fizetségüket aszerint, amit mondasz. Mert tudod, hogy nincs köztünk olyan ember, aki a favágáshoz úgy értene, ahogy a szidóniak.

Most azért parancsold meg, hogy vágjanak nékem czédrusfákat a Libánonon. Az én szolgáim is együtt lesznek a te szolgáiddal; a te szolgáidnak pedig jutalmát megadom néked mind a szerint, a mit mondándasz; mert tudod, hogy nincsen mi közöttünk olyan ember, a ki a favágáshoz úgy értene, mint a Sidonbeliek.

Now therefore command thou that they hew me cedar trees out of Lebanon; and my servants shall be with thy servants: and unto thee will I give hire for thy servants according to all that thou shalt appoint: for thou knowest that there is not among us any that can skill to hew timber like unto the Sidonians.

Porunceşte acum să se taie pentru mine cedri din Liban. Slujitorii mei vor fi cu ai tăi şi-ţi voi plăti simbria slujitorilor tăi aşa cum o vei hotărî tu; căci ştii că dintre noi nimeni nu se pricepe să taie lemne ca sidonienii.”

Now therefore command that cedars of Lebanon be cut for me. And my servants will join your servants, and I will pay you for your servants such wages as you set, for you know that there is no one among us who knows how to cut timber like the Sidonians.”

Mikor tehát meghallotta Hírám Salamon üzenetét, igen megörült, és azt mondta: Áldott legyen e mai napon az ÚR, aki Dávidnak bölcs fiat adott e nagy nép élére.

Mikor azért meghallotta Hírám a Salamon izenetét, igen megörült, és monda: Áldott legyen e mai napon az Úr, a ki Dávidnak bölcs fiat adott e nagy népen.

And it came to pass, when Hiram heard the words of Solomon, that he rejoiced greatly, and said, Blessed be the LORD this day, which hath given unto David a wise son over this great people.

Când a auzit Hiram cuvintele lui Solomon, a avut o mare bucurie şi a zis: „Binecuvântat să fie astăzi Domnul care a dat lui David un fiu înţelept drept căpetenie a acestui mare popor!”

As soon as Hiram heard the words of Solomon, he rejoiced greatly and said, “Blessed be the LORD this day, who has given to David a wise son to be over this great people.”

És ezt az üzenetet küldte Hírám Salamonnak: Értem, amit üzentél. Megteszem minden kívánságodat mind a cédrusfákat, mind a ciprusfákat illetően.

És elkülde Hírám Salamonhoz, ezt izenvén: Megértettem a mi felől küldöttél hozzám; én megteszem minden kivánságodat mind a czédrusfákra, mind a fenyőfákra [nézve].

And Hiram sent to Solomon, saying, I have considered the things which thou sentest to me for: and I will do all thy desire concerning timber of cedar, and concerning timber of fir.

Şi Hiram a trimis răspuns lui Solomon: „Am auzit ce ai trimis să mi se spună. Voi face tot ce vei vrea în ce priveşte lemnele de cedru şi lemnele de chiparos.

And Hiram sent to Solomon, saying, “I have heard the message that you have sent to me. I am ready to do all you desire in the matter of cedar and cypress timber.

Szolgáim pedig a Libánonról leviszik a tengerre a fákat. Én pedig tutajokra rakatom azokat és a tengeren addig a helyig vitetem, amelyet megüzensz nekem. Ott kirakatom és te vitesd el azokat. Te pedig abban teljesítsd kívánságomat, hogy gondoskodj háznépem eledeléről.

Az én szolgáim a Libánonról aláviszik a tengerre [a fákat:] én pedig azokat tutajokra rakatván, a tengeren addig a helyig vitetem, a melyet te megizentetsz nékem, és azokat ott kihányatom, és te vitesd el. Te pedig abban teljesítsd kivánságomat, hogy adj eledelt az én háznépemnek.

My servants shall bring them down from Lebanon unto the sea: and I will convey them by sea in floats unto the place that thou shalt appoint me, and will cause them to be discharged there, and thou shalt receive them: and thou shalt accomplish my desire, in giving food for my household.

Slujitorii mei le vor coborî din Liban la mare şi le voi trimite pe mare în plute până la locul pe care mi-l vei arăta: acolo, voi pune să le dezlege, şi le vei lua. Ceea ce cer în schimb este să trimiţi merinde casei mele.”

My servants shall bring it down to the sea from Lebanon, and I will make it into rafts to go by sea to the place you direct. And I will have them broken up there, and you shall receive it. And you shall meet my wishes by providing food for my household.”

Adott tehát Hírám Salamonnak cédrusfákat és ciprusfákat, amennyit csak kívánt.

Ada azért Hírám Salamonnak czédrusfákat és fenyőfákat, minden kivánsága szerint.

So Hiram gave Solomon cedar trees and fir trees according to all his desire.

Hiram a dat lui Solomon lemne de cedru şi lemne de chiparos cât a voit.

So Hiram supplied Solomon with all the timber of cedar and cypress that he desired,

Salamon pedig adott Hírámnak húszezer véka búzát háznépének ellátására, és húszezer mérő sajtolt olajat. Ezt adta Salamon Hírámnak esztendőről esztendőre.

And Solomon gave Hiram twenty thousand measures of wheat for food to his household, and twenty measures of pure oil: thus gave Solomon to Hiram year by year.

Şi Solomon a dat lui Hiram douăzeci de mii de cori de grâu pentru hrana casei lui şi douăzeci de cori de untdelemn curat; iată ce a dat Solomon în fiecare an lui Hiram.

while Solomon gave Hiram 20,000 cors of wheat as food for his household, and 20,000 cors of beaten oil. Solomon gave this to Hiram year by year.

Az ÚR tehát bölcsességet adott Salamonnak, ahogy megígérte neki. Béke volt Hírám és Salamon között, és szövetséget kötöttek egymással.

Az Úr azért bölcsességet ada Salamonnak, a mint megmondotta vala néki; és békesség lőn Hírám és Salamon között, és ők szövetséget tőnek egymással.

And the LORD gave Solomon wisdom, as he promised him: and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon; and they two made a league together.

Domnul a dat înţelepciune lui Solomon, cum îi făgăduise. Între Hiram şi Solomon a fost pace, şi au făcut legământ împreună.

And the LORD gave Solomon wisdom, as he promised him. And there was peace between Hiram and Solomon, and the two of them made a treaty.

Salamon király pedig robotosokat szedetett egész Izráelből, és harmincezer ember lett robotos.

And king Solomon raised a levy out of all Israel; and the levy was thirty thousand men.

King Solomon drafted forced labor out of all Israel, and the draft numbered 30,000 men.

Ezeket azután elküldte a Libánonra, havonként tíz-tízezer embert egymás után. Egy hónapig a Libánon hegyen voltak, két hónapig az otthonukban. A robotosok felügyelője pedig Adónirám volt.

A kiket aztán elkülde a Libánonra, minden hónapra tíz-tízezer ember egymás után. Egy hónapig a Libánon [hegyén] valának, két hónapig az ő házoknál. Adónirám vala pedig a robotosok feje.

And he sent them to Lebanon, ten thousand a month by courses: a month they were in Lebanon, and two months at home: and Adoniram was over the levy.

I-a trimis în Liban, câte zece mii pe lună, cu schimbul; o lună erau în Liban, şi două luni erau acasă. Adoniram era mai mare peste oamenii de corvoadă.

And he sent them to Lebanon, 10,000 a month in shifts. They would be a month in Lebanon and two months at home. Adoniram was in charge of the draft.

And Solomon had threescore and ten thousand that bare burdens, and fourscore thousand hewers in the mountains;

Solomon mai avea şaptezeci de mii de oameni care purtau poverile şi optzeci de mii care tăiau pietrele în munţi,

Solomon also had 70,000 burden-bearers and 80,000 stonecutters in the hill country,

Beside the chief of Solomon's officers which were over the work, three thousand and three hundred, which ruled over the people that wrought in the work.

besides Solomon’s 3,300 chief officers who were over the work, who had charge of the people who carried on the work.

Megparancsolta a király, hogy nagy és drága köveket fejtsenek ki, hogy faragott kövekből vessenek alapot a háznak.

És megparancsolá a király, hogy nagy és drága köveket vágjanak ki, nevezetesen faragott köveket a ház fundamentomául;

And the king commanded, and they brought great stones, costly stones, and hewed stones, to lay the foundation of the house.

Împăratul a poruncit să se scoată pietre mari şi măreţe, cioplite pentru temeliile Casei.

At the king’s command they quarried out great, costly stones in order to lay the foundation of the house with dressed stones.

Ezeket Salamon és Hírám építőmunkásai meg a gebáliak faragták ki, és elkészítették a gerendákat és a köveket is a ház építéséhez.

Melyeket kifaragának a Salamon kőmívesei és a Hírám ácsai és a Gibleusok; és elkészíték a fákat és a köveket a ház építéséhez.

And Solomon's builders and Hiram's builders did hew them, and the stonesquarers: so they prepared timber and stones to build the house.

Lucrătorii lui Solomon, ai lui Hiram şi ghibliţii, le-au cioplit şi au pregătit lemnele şi pietrele pentru zidirea Casei.

So Solomon’s builders and Hiram’s builders and the men of Gebal did the cutting and prepared the timber and the stone to build the house.
