Amikor Dávid király élemedett korú ember lett, takarókba burkolták, mégsem tudott fölmelegedni.

Mikor pedig megvénhedt és megöregedett Dávid király, bár leplekkel takargatták be, mégsem bírt felmelegedni.

Now king David was old and stricken in years; and they covered him with clothes, but he gat no heat.

Împăratul David era bătrân, înaintat în vârstă; îl acopereau cu haine şi nu se putea încălzi.

Now King David was old and advanced in years. And although they covered him with clothes, he could not get warm.

Akkor azt mondták neki a szolgái: Keresni kell uramnak, a királynak egy szűz leányt, legyen ő a király körül, ápolja, és aludjék karjai között, és melegítse föl uramat, a királyt.

Wherefore his servants said unto him, Let there be sought for my lord the king a young virgin: and let her stand before the king, and let her cherish him, and let her lie in thy bosom, that my lord the king may get heat.

Slujitorii lui i-au zis: „Să se caute pentru domnul, împăratul, o fată fecioară; ea să stea înaintea împăratului, să-l îngrijească şi să se culce la sânul tău; şi domnul meu, împăratul, se va încălzi.”

Therefore his servants said to him, “Let a young woman be sought for my lord the king, and let her wait on the king and be in his service. Let her lie in your arms, that my lord the king may be warm.”

Azért egy szép leányt kerestek Izráel egész földjén. Rátaláltak a Súném városából való Abiságra, és elhozták a királyhoz.

So they sought for a fair damsel throughout all the coasts of Israel, and found Abishag a Shunammite, and brought her to the king.

So they sought for a beautiful young woman throughout all the territory of Israel, and found Abishag the Shunammite, and brought her to the king.

And the damsel was very fair, and cherished the king, and ministered to him: but the king knew her not.

The young woman was very beautiful, and she was of service to the king and attended to him, but the king knew her not.

Adónijjá, Haggít fia pedig elbízta magát, és ezt mondta: Én fogok uralkodni! Szerzett magának szekereket, lovasokat és ötven előtte futó férfit.

Adónia pedig, Haggitnak fia, felfuvalkodék, ezt mondván: Én fogok uralkodni! És szerze magának szekereket, lovagokat és ötven előtte járó férfiakat.

Then Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, I will be king: and he prepared him chariots and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him.

Adonia, fiul Haghitei, s-a sumeţit până acolo încât a zis: „Eu voi fi împărat!” Şi şi-a pregătit care şi călăreţi şi cincizeci de oameni care alergau înaintea lui.

Now Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, “I will be king.” And he prepared for himself chariots and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him.

Apja soha nem rótta fel neki, hogy miért tesz ilyet. Ő pedig igen szép férfi volt, Haggít szülte Dávidnak Absolon után.

Kit az ő atyja soha meg nem szomoríta, ezt mondván: Miért cselekszel így?! Ez is pedig igen szép férfi volt, és őt [Haggit] szülte [volt Dávidnak] Absolon után.

And his father had not displeased him at any time in saying, Why hast thou done so? and he also was a very goodly man; and his mother bare him after Absalom.

Tatăl său nu-l mustrase niciodată în viaţa lui, zicând: „Pentru ce faci aşa?” Adonia, de altfel, era foarte frumos la chip şi se născuse după Absalom.

His father had never at any time displeased him by asking, “Why have you done thus and so?” He was also a very handsome man, and he was born next after Absalom.

Beszélt Jóábbal, Cerújá fiával és Ebjátár pappal, akik követték Adónijját, és segítették őt.

And he conferred with Joab the son of Zeruiah, and with Abiathar the priest: and they following Adonijah helped him.

But Zadok the priest, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and Nathan the prophet, and Shimei, and Rei, and the mighty men which belonged to David, were not with Adonijah.

And Adonijah slew sheep and oxen and fat cattle by the stone of Zoheleth, which is by Enrogel, and called all his brethren the king's sons, and all the men of Judah the king's servants:

Adonia a tăiat oi, boi şi viţei graşi, lângă piatra lui Zohelet, care este lângă En-Roguel; şi a poftit pe toţi fraţii lui, fiii împăratului, şi pe toţi bărbaţii lui Iuda din slujba împăratului.

Adonijah sacrificed sheep, oxen, and fattened cattle by the Serpent’s Stone, which is beside En-rogel, and he invited all his brothers, the king’s sons, and all the royal officials of Judah,

De Nátán prófétát, Benáját, az erős vitézeket és Salamont, a testvérét nem hívta meg.

De Nátán prófétát és Benáját és amaz erős vitézeket és Salamont, az ő atyjafiát nem hívá el.

But Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah, and the mighty men, and Solomon his brother, he called not.

Dar n-a poftit pe prorocul Natan, nici pe Benaia, nici pe viteji, nici pe fratele său Solomon.

but he did not invite Nathan the prophet or Benaiah or the mighty men or Solomon his brother.

Akkor így szólt Nátán Betsabénak, Salamon anyjának: Nem hallottad-e, hogy Adónijjá, Haggít fia uralkodik, és urunk, Dávid nem tud róla semmit?

Szóla akkor Nátán Bethsabénak, a Salamon anyjának, mondván: Nem hallottad-é, hogy Adónia, a Haggit fia uralkodik, és a mi urunk Dávid nem tud róla semmit?

Wherefore Nathan spake unto Bathsheba the mother of Solomon, saying, Hast thou not heard that Adonijah the son of Haggith doth reign, and David our lord knoweth it not?

Atunci Natan a zis Bat-Şebei, mama lui Solomon: „N-ai auzit că Adonia, fiul Haghitei, s-a făcut împărat, fără să ştie domnul nostru David?

Then Nathan said to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon, “Have you not heard that Adonijah the son of Haggith has become king and David our lord does not know it?

Jöjj hát, hadd adjak neked tanácsot, hogy megmentsd az életedet, és fiadnak, Salamonnak az életét.

Jövel azért, hadd adjak néked tanácsot, hogy megmentsd a te életedet, és a te fiadnak, Salamonnak életét.

Now therefore come, let me, I pray thee, give thee counsel, that thou mayest save thine own life, and the life of thy son Solomon.

Vino, dar, acum, şi-ţi voi da un sfat, ca să-ţi scapi viaţa ta şi viaţa fiului tău Solomon.

Now therefore come, let me give you advice, that you may save your own life and the life of your son Solomon.

Eredj, menj be Dávid királyhoz, és mondd ezt neki: Uram, király, te esküvel azt ígérted szolgálóleányodnak: A te fiad, Salamon lesz utánam a király, ő ül az én trónomra. Miért uralkodik hát Adónijjá?

Eredj, menj be Dávid királyhoz, és mondd ezt néki: Uram király, nemde nem esküdtél-é meg a te szolgálóleányodnak ilyenképen: Salamon, a te fiad uralkodik én utánam, és ő ül az én királyi székembe? Miért uralkodik hát Adónia?

Go and get thee in unto king David, and say unto him, Didst not thou, my lord, O king, swear unto thine handmaid, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne? why then doth Adonijah reign?

Du-te, intră la împăratul David şi spune-i: „Împărate, domnul meu, n-ai jurat tu roabei tale, zicând: „Fiul tău Solomon va împărăţi după mine şi va şedea pe scaunul meu de domnie?” Pentru ce, dar, împărăţeşte Adonia?”

Go in at once to King David, and say to him, ‘Did you not, my lord the king, swear to your servant, saying, “Solomon your son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne”? Why then is Adonijah king?’

Behold, while thou yet talkest there with the king, I also will come in after thee, and confirm thy words.

Then while you are still speaking with the king, I also will come in after you and confirm your words.”

Erre bement Betsabé a királyhoz a hálószobába. A király pedig már igen öreg volt, és a súnémi Abiság szolgált a királynak.

És beméne Bethsabé a királyhoz a kamarába. És a király igen megvénhedett vala, és a Súnemből való Abiság szolgál vala a királynak.

And Bathsheba went in unto the king into the chamber: and the king was very old; and Abishag the Shunammite ministered unto the king.

Bat-Şeba s-a dus în odaia împăratului. El era foarte bătrân; şi Abişag, sunamita, îi slujea.

So Bathsheba went to the king in his chamber (now the king was very old, and Abishag the Shunammite was attending to the king).

Fejet hajtott Betsabé, és meghajolt a király előtt. A király megkérdezte: Mit kívánsz?

És fejet hajta Bethsabé, és meghajtá magát a királynak. És monda a király: Mit kivánsz?

And Bathsheba bowed, and did obeisance unto the king. And the king said, What wouldest thou?

Bat-Şeba s-a plecat şi s-a închinat înaintea împăratului. Şi împăratul a zis: „Ce vrei?”

Bathsheba bowed and paid homage to the king, and the king said, “What do you desire?”

Betsabé így felelt neki: Édes uram, így esküdtél meg az ÚRra, a te Istenedre szolgálóleányodnak: Salamon, a te fiad uralkodik utánam, és ő ül az én trónomra.

Felele néki [Bethsabé: Édes] uram, te megesküdtél az Úrra, a te Istenedre a te szolgálóleányodnak ilyenképen: Salamon, a te fiad uralkodik én utánam, és ő ül az én királyi székembe.

And she said unto him, My lord, thou swarest by the LORD thy God unto thine handmaid, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne.

Ea i-a răspuns: „Domnul meu, tu ai jurat roabei tale pe Domnul Dumnezeul tău, zicând: „Solomon, fiul tău, va împărăţi după mine şi va şedea pe scaunul meu de domnie.”

She said to him, “My lord, you swore to your servant by the LORD your God, saying, ‘Solomon your son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne.’

Íme, mégis Adónijjá lett királlyá. És te, uram, király, te erről nem tudsz semmit.

És ímé mégis Adónia lett királylyá; és ímé, uram király, te nem tudsz erről semmit.

And now, behold, Adonijah reigneth; and now, my lord the king, thou knowest it not:

Şi acum iată că Adonia împărăţeşte! Şi tu nu ştii, împărate, domnul meu!

And now, behold, Adonijah is king, although you, my lord the king, do not know it.

Mert ő ökrökkel és sok hizlalt marhával áldozott bőségesen, és vendégül hívta a király minden fiát, Ebjátár papot és Jóábot, a hadinép parancsnokát. Csak szolgádat, Salamont nem hívta meg.

Mert áldozott ökrökkel és nagy sok kövér barmokkal bőségesen, és vendégekké hívta a királynak minden fiait, és Abjátár papot és Joábot, a seregnek hadnagyát, csak Salamont, a te szolgádat nem hívta meg.

And he hath slain oxen and fat cattle and sheep in abundance, and hath called all the sons of the king, and Abiathar the priest, and Joab the captain of the host: but Solomon thy servant hath he not called.

El a înjunghiat boi, viţei graşi şi oi, în mare număr; şi a poftit pe toţi fiii împăratului, pe preotul Abiatar şi pe Ioab, căpetenia oştirii, dar pe robul tău Solomon nu l-a poftit.

He has sacrificed oxen, fattened cattle, and sheep in abundance, and has invited all the sons of the king, Abiathar the priest, and Joab the commander of the army, but Solomon your servant he has not invited.

Most még te vagy a király, uram! Egész Izráel népének szemei rád figyelnek, hogy add tudtukra, ki fog az én uramnak, a királynak a trónjára ülni őutána.

Még most te vagy, Uram, a király; az egész Izráel népének szemei reád néznek, hogy megjelentsed nékik, kicsoda fog ülni az én uramnak, a királynak székében, ő utána.

And thou, my lord, O king, the eyes of all Israel are upon thee, that thou shouldest tell them who shall sit on the throne of my lord the king after him.

Împărate, domnul meu, tot Israelul are ochii îndreptaţi spre tine, ca să-i faci cunoscut cine va şedea pe scaunul de domnie al împăratului, domnului meu, după el.

And now, my lord the king, the eyes of all Israel are on you, to tell them who shall sit on the throne of my lord the king after him.

Különben ha az én uram, a király atyáihoz tér majd, akkor engem és Salamon fiamat bűnösnek fognak tartani.

De ha az én uram, a király, az ő atyáival elaluszik: akkor én és az én fiam, Salamon leszünk bűnösök.

Otherwise it shall come to pass, when my lord the king shall sleep with his fathers, that I and my son Solomon shall be counted offenders.

Şi când împăratul, domnul meu, va fi culcat împreună cu părinţii săi, se va întâmpla că eu şi fiul meu Solomon vom fi priviţi ca nişte vinovaţi.”

Otherwise it will come to pass, when my lord the king sleeps with his fathers, that I and my son Solomon will be counted offenders.”

És íme, mikor még a királlyal beszélt, megérkezett Nátán próféta.

És ímé, mikor még a királylyal szólana, Nátán próféta megérkezék.

And, lo, while she yet talked with the king, Nathan the prophet also came in.

Pe când încă vorbea ea cu împăratul, iată că a sosit prorocul Natan.

While she was still speaking with the king, Nathan the prophet came in.

Bejelentették a királynak: Itt van Nátán próféta. Ő bement a király elé, meghajolt előtte, leborult arccal a földre,

És bejelenték a királynak, mondván: Itt van Nátán próféta. És bemenvén a király eleibe, meghajtá magát a király előtt, arczczal a földre leborulván.

And they told the king, saying, Behold Nathan the prophet. And when he was come in before the king, he bowed himself before the king with his face to the ground.

Au dat de ştire împăratului şi au zis: „Iată că a venit prorocul Natan!” El a intrat înaintea împăratului şi s-a închinat înaintea împăratului cu faţa până la pământ.

And they told the king, “Here is Nathan the prophet.” And when he came in before the king, he bowed before the king, with his face to the ground.

és ezt mondta: Uram, király, mondtad-e azt, hogy Adónijjá lesz utánad a király, és ő üljön a trónra?

És monda Nátán: Uram király, te mondottad-é: Adónia legyen én utánam a király, és ő üljön az én királyi székembe?

And Nathan said, My lord, O king, hast thou said, Adonijah shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne?

Şi Natan a zis: „Împărate, domnul meu, oare tu ai zis: „Adonia va împărăţi după mine şi va şedea pe scaunul meu de domnie”?

And Nathan said, “My lord the king, have you said, ‘Adonijah shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne’?

Mert ő ma elment, rengeteg ökröt és hízott marhát áldozott, és vendégségbe hívta az összes királyfit, a sereg parancsnokait és Ebjátár papot. Íme ők vele esznek és isznak, és immár azt kiáltották: Éljen Adónijjá király!

Mert ma aláment, és áldozott ökrökkel és kövér barmokkal bőségesen, és vendégekké hívta a királynak minden fiait és a seregnek hadnagyait és Abjátár papot: és ímé ők esznek és isznak ő előtte, és [immár] azt kiáltották: Éljen Adónia király!

For he is gone down this day, and hath slain oxen and fat cattle and sheep in abundance, and hath called all the king's sons, and the captains of the host, and Abiathar the priest; and, behold, they eat and drink before him, and say, God save king Adonijah.

Căci el s-a coborât astăzi, a tăiat boi, viţei graşi şi oi, în mare număr; şi a poftit pe toţi fiii împăratului, pe căpeteniile oştirii şi pe preotul Abiatar. Şi ei mănâncă şi beau înaintea lui şi zic: „Trăiască împăratul Adonia!”

For he has gone down this day and has sacrificed oxen, fattened cattle, and sheep in abundance, and has invited all the king’s sons, the commanders of the army, and Abiathar the priest. And behold, they are eating and drinking before him, and saying, ‘Long live King Adonijah!’

Engem pedig, aki szolgád vagyok, nem hívott meg, sem Cádók papot, Benáját, Jójádá fiát és Salamont, a te szolgádat.

Engem pedig, a ki a te szolgád vagyok, és Sádók papot és Benáját, a Jójada fiát, és Salamont, a te szolgádat nem hívta meg.

But me, even me thy servant, and Zadok the priest, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and thy servant Solomon, hath he not called.

Dar nu m-a poftit nici pe mine, care sunt robul tău, nici pe preotul Ţadoc, nici pe Benaia, fiul lui Iehoiada, nici pe robul tău Solomon.

But me, your servant, and Zadok the priest, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and your servant Solomon he has not invited.

Vajon uramtól, a királytól van-e ez a dolog, hogy nem tudattad szolgáiddal, hogy ki fog a trónra ülni az én uram, a király után?

Avagy az én uramtól, a királytól lett-é ez a dolog, hogy nem adtad tudtára a te szolgádnak, kicsoda fogna ülni az én uramnak, a királynak székiben [az ő holta] után.

Is this thing done by my lord the king, and thou hast not shewed it unto thy servant, who should sit on the throne of my lord the king after him?

Oare din porunca domnului meu, împăratul, are loc lucrul acesta şi fără să fi făcut cunoscut robului tău cine are să se suie pe scaunul de domnie al împăratului, domnului meu, după el?”

Has this thing been brought about by my lord the king and you have not told your servants who should sit on the throne of my lord the king after him?”

Dávid király így felelt: Hívjátok hozzám Betsabét! Ő bement a király elé, és megállt előtte.

És felelvén Dávid király, monda: Hívjátok hozzám Bethsabét, a ki beméne a király eleibe, és megálla a király előtt.

Then king David answered and said, Call me Bathsheba. And she came into the king's presence, and stood before the king.

Împăratul David a răspuns: „Chemaţi-mi pe Bat-Şeba.” Ea a intrat şi s-a înfăţişat înaintea împăratului.

Then King David answered, “Call Bathsheba to me.” So she came into the king’s presence and stood before the king.

Akkor megesküdött a király, és azt mondta: Él az ÚR, aki megszabadította lelkemet minden nyomorúságból,

És megesküvék a király, mondván: Él az Úr, a ki megszabadította az én lelkemet minden nyomorúságból,

And the king sware, and said, As the LORD liveth, that hath redeemed my soul out of all distress,

Şi împăratul a jurat şi a zis: „Viu este Domnul, care m-a izbăvit din toate necazurile,

And the king swore, saying, “As the LORD lives, who has redeemed my soul out of every adversity,

hogy amiképpen megesküdtem neked az ÚRra, Izráel Istenére, és azt ígértem, hogy a te fiad, Salamon lesz utánam a király, és ő ül az én trónomra, meg is cselekszem a mai napon.

Hogy a miképen megesküdtem néked az Úrra, Izráel Istenére, ezt mondván: A te fiad Salamon uralkodik én utánam, és ő ül az én királyi székembe én helyettem: ezt ma így meg is teszem.

Even as I sware unto thee by the LORD God of Israel, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne in my stead; even so will I certainly do this day.

că – aşa cum am jurat pe Domnul Dumnezeul lui Israel, zicând: „Fiul tău Solomon va împărăţi după mine şi va şedea pe scaunul meu de domnie în locul meu” – aşa voi face azi.”

as I swore to you by the LORD, the God of Israel, saying, ‘Solomon your son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne in my place,’ even so will I do this day.”

Erre fejet hajtott Betsabé, arccal a földre borult, és a király előtt meghajolva ezt mondta: Éljen az én uram, Dávid király mindörökké!

És fejet hajta Bethsabé, arczczal a földre [leborulván,] és magát meghajtván a király előtt, monda: Éljen az én uram, Dávid király, mindörökké!

Then Bathsheba bowed with her face to the earth, and did reverence to the king, and said, Let my lord king David live for ever.

Bat-Şeba s-a plecat cu faţa la pământ şi s-a închinat înaintea împăratului. Şi a zis: „Trăiască pe vecie domnul meu, împăratul David!”

Then Bathsheba bowed with her face to the ground and paid homage to the king and said, “May my lord King David live forever!”

Azután azt mondta Dávid király: Hívjátok hozzám Cádók papot, Nátán prófétát és Benáját, Jójádá fiát. Erre azok bementek a király elé.

Azután monda Dávid király: Hívjátok hozzám Sádók papot és Nátán prófétát és Benáját, Jójadának fiát. És ezek bemenének a király eleibe.

And king David said, Call me Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada. And they came before the king.

Împăratul David a zis: „Chemaţi-mi pe preotul Ţadoc, pe prorocul Natan şi pe Benaia, fiul lui Iehoiada.” Ei au intrat şi s-au înfăţişat înaintea împăratului.

King David said, “Call to me Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada.” So they came before the king.

A király ezt mondta nekik: Vegyétek magatok mellé uratok szolgáit, ültessétek Salamont, az én fiamat az öszvéremre, és vigyétek le őt Gihónba!

És monda nékik a király: Vegyétek mellétek a ti uratoknak szolgáit, és ültessétek Salamont, az én fiamat az én öszvéremre, és vigyétek alá őt Gihonba;

The king also said unto them, Take with you the servants of your lord, and cause Solomon my son to ride upon mine own mule, and bring him down to Gihon:

Şi împăratul le-a zis: „Luaţi cu voi pe slujitorii stăpânului vostru, puneţi pe fiul meu Solomon călare pe catârul meu şi coborâţi-l la Ghihon.

And the king said to them, “Take with you the servants of your lord and have Solomon my son ride on my own mule, and bring him down to Gihon.

Ott Cádók pap és Nátán próféta kenje föl őt Izráel királyává! Majd fújjátok meg a kürtöket, és kiáltsátok: Éljen Salamon király!

And let Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him there king over Israel: and blow ye with the trumpet, and say, God save king Solomon.

And let Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet there anoint him king over Israel. Then blow the trumpet and say, ‘Long live King Solomon!’

Azután vonuljatok föl onnan őutána, ő pedig jöjjön, üljön az én trónomra, és uralkodjék helyettem. Mert meghagytam neki, hogy ő legyen a fejedelme mind Izráelnek, mind Júdának.

És jőjjetek fel [onnét] ő utána; és eljövén, üljön az én királyi székembe, és ő uralkodjék én helyettem; mert [immár] meghagytam néki, hogy ő legyen fejedelme mind Izráelnek, mind Júdának.

Then ye shall come up after him, that he may come and sit upon my throne; for he shall be king in my stead: and I have appointed him to be ruler over Israel and over Judah.

Să vă suiţi apoi după el ca să vină să se aşeze pe scaunul meu de domnie şi să împărăţească în locul meu. Căci porunca mea este ca el să fie căpetenia lui Israel şi Iuda.”

You shall then come up after him, and he shall come and sit on my throne, for he shall be king in my place. And I have appointed him to be ruler over Israel and over Judah.”

Akkor Benájá, Jójádá fia így felelt a királynak: Ámen! Így szóljon az ÚR, az én uramnak, a királynak Istene is.

Felele akkor Benája, a Jójada fia a királynak, és monda: Ámen! Így szóljon az Úr, az én uramnak, a királynak Istene [is.]

And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada answered the king, and said, Amen: the LORD God of my lord the king say so too.

Benaia, fiul lui Iehoiada, a răspuns împăratului: „Amin! Aşa să vrea Domnul Dumnezeul domnului meu, împăratul:

And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada answered the king, “Amen! May the LORD, the God of my lord the king, say so.

Ahogy vele volt az ÚR az én urammal, a királlyal, úgy legyen Salamonnal is, és emelje magasabbra az ő királyi székét az én uramnak, Dávid királynak trónusánál!

A miképen vele volt az Úr az én urammal, a királylyal: azonképen legyen vele Salamonnal is, és magasztalja feljebb az ő királyi székét az én uramnak, Dávid királynak királyi székénél.

As the LORD hath been with my lord the king, even so be he with Solomon, and make his throne greater than the throne of my lord king David.

Domnul să fie cu Solomon cum a fost cu domnul meu, împăratul, ca să-şi înalţe scaunul de domnie mai presus de scaunul de domnie al domnului meu, împăratul David!”

As the LORD has been with my lord the king, even so may he be with Solomon, and make his throne greater than the throne of my lord King David.”

Lement tehát Cádók pap, Nátán próféta és Benájá, Jójádá fia, lementek a kerétiek és a pelétiek is, és fölültették Salamont Dávid király öszvérére és levitték Gihónba.

So Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, went down, and caused Solomon to ride upon king David's mule, and brought him to Gihon.

Atunci preotul Ţadoc s-a coborât împreună cu prorocul Natan, cu Benaia, fiul lui Iehoiada, cu cheretiţii şi peletiţii; au pus pe Solomon călare pe catârul împăratului David şi l-au dus la Ghihon.

So Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and the Cherethites and the Pelethites went down and had Solomon ride on King David’s mule and brought him to Gihon.

Azután kihozta Cádók pap az olajosszarut a sátorból, és fölkente Salamont. Majd kürtöltek, és az egész nép ezt kiáltotta: Éljen Salamon király!

És vevé Sádók pap az olajos szarut az Úr sátorából, és megkené Salamont; azután kürtölének, és az egész nép ezt kiáltá: Éljen Salamon király!

And Zadok the priest took an horn of oil out of the tabernacle, and anointed Solomon. And they blew the trumpet; and all the people said, God save king Solomon.

Preotul Ţadoc a luat cornul cu untdelemn din Cort şi a uns pe Solomon. Au sunat din trâmbiţă, şi tot poporul a zis: „Trăiască împăratul Solomon!”

There Zadok the priest took the horn of oil from the tent and anointed Solomon. Then they blew the trumpet, and all the people said, “Long live King Solomon!”

Azután fölvonult utána az egész nép, és a nép sípolt és oly nagyon ujjongott, hogy a föld is szinte meghasadt kiáltásuk zajától.

És felvonult utána az egész nép, és a nép sípolt és felette ujjongott, úgy hogy a föld is megrepedne kiáltásuk zajától.

And all the people came up after him, and the people piped with pipes, and rejoiced with great joy, so that the earth rent with the sound of them.

Tot poporul s-a suit după el, şi poporul cânta din fluier şi se desfăta cu mare bucurie; se clătina pământul de strigătele lor.

And all the people went up after him, playing on pipes, and rejoicing with great joy, so that the earth was split by their noise.

Meghallotta ezt Adónijjá és összes vendége, akik nála voltak, amikor éppen befejezték a lakomát. Meghallotta Jóáb is a kürtölés szavát, és azt mondta: Miért van ez a zaj és mozgás a városban?

És Adónia is meghallotta és vendégei is mind, a kik nála valának, miután a lakomát már elvégezték; és meghallá Joáb is a kürtölés szavát, és monda: Miért e zaj [és] mozgás a városban?

And Adonijah and all the guests that were with him heard it as they had made an end of eating. And when Joab heard the sound of the trumpet, he said, Wherefore is this noise of the city being in an uproar?

Zvonul acesta a ajuns până la Adonia şi la toţi cei poftiţi care erau cu el, tocmai în clipa când sfârşeau de mâncat. Ioab, auzind sunetul trâmbiţei, a zis: „Ce este cu vuietul acesta de care răsună cetatea?”

Adonijah and all the guests who were with him heard it as they finished feasting. And when Joab heard the sound of the trumpet, he said, “What does this uproar in the city mean?”

Még beszélt, amikor íme, megérkezett Jónátán, Ebjátár pap fia. Adónijjá azt mondta: Jöjj be, mert megbízható férfiú vagy, és bizonyára jó hírt mondasz.

És a mikor ő még szólana, ímé megérkezék Jonathán, az Abjátár pap fia. És monda Adónia: Jőjj be, mert megbízható férfiú vagy, és jó hírt mondasz.

And while he yet spake, behold, Jonathan the son of Abiathar the priest came; and Adonijah said unto him, Come in; for thou art a valiant man, and bringest good tidings.

Pe când vorbea el încă, a venit Ionatan, fiul preotului Abiatar. Şi Adonia a zis: „Apropie-te, că eşti un om viteaz şi aduci veşti bune.”

While he was still speaking, behold, Jonathan the son of Abiathar the priest came. And Adonijah said, “Come in, for you are a worthy man and bring good news.”

Jónátán pedig így felelt Adónijjának: Igen, a mi urunk, Dávid király Salamont tette királlyá.

Jonathán pedig felelvén, monda Adóniának: Igen, a mi urunk, Dávid király, Salamont tette királylyá.

And Jonathan answered and said to Adonijah, Verily our lord king David hath made Solomon king.

„Da”, a răspuns Ionatan lui Adonia, „domnul nostru, împăratul David, a făcut împărat pe Solomon.

Jonathan answered Adonijah, “No, for our lord King David has made Solomon king,

Elküldte vele a király Cádók papot, Nátán prófétát, Benáját, Jójádá fiát meg a kerétieket és a pelétieket, és őt a király öszvérére ültették.

És elküldötte ő vele Sádók papot a király és Nátán prófétát, és Benáját, a Jójada fiát, a Kereteusokat is és Peleteusokat, és őt a király öszvérére ülteték,

And the king hath sent with him Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, and they have caused him to ride upon the king's mule:

A trimis cu el pe preotul Ţadoc, pe prorocul Natan, pe Benaia, fiul lui Iehoiada, pe cheretiţi şi peletiţi, şi l-au pus călare pe catârul împăratului.

and the king has sent with him Zadok the priest, Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and the Cherethites and the Pelethites. And they had him ride on the king’s mule.

És Cádók pap Nátán prófétával együtt fölkente őt királlyá Gihónnál, és onnan vonultak föl nagy örömmel. Ettől zendült meg a város, ez az a zaj, amelyet hallottatok.

És Sádók pap Nátán prófétával együtt királylyá kente fel őt Gihonnál, és onnét vonulnak fel örömmel; ettől zendült meg a város. Ez az a zaj, a melyet hallottatok.

And Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet have anointed him king in Gihon: and they are come up from thence rejoicing, so that the city rang again. This is the noise that ye have heard.

And Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet have anointed him king at Gihon, and they have gone up from there rejoicing, so that the city is in an uproar. This is the noise that you have heard.

Salamon immár ott is ül az ország trónján.

És [immár] be is ült Salamon az országnak királyi székibe;

And also Solomon sitteth on the throne of the kingdom.

Solomon s-a şi aşezat pe scaunul de domnie al împăratului.

Solomon sits on the royal throne.

47

A király szolgái is bementek, hogy áldják urunkat, Dávid királyt e szavakkal: Tegye Isten Salamon nevét híresebbé a te nevednél, és emelje följebb az ő királyi székét a te trónusodnál. Akkor a király meghajolt a fekvőhelyén,

És a király szolgái is bemenének, hogy áldják a mi urunkat, Dávid királyt, mondván: Tegye az Isten a Salamon nevét híresebbé a te nevednél, és magasztalja feljebb az ő székit a te székednél. És meghajtá magát a király az ő ágyán.

And moreover the king's servants came to bless our lord king David, saying, God make the name of Solomon better than thy name, and make his throne greater than thy throne. And the king bowed himself upon the bed.

Şi slujitorii împăratului au venit să binecuvânteze pe domnul nostru, împăratul David, zicând: „Dumnezeul tău să facă numele lui Solomon mai vestit decât numele tău, şi el să-şi înalţe scaunul de domnie mai presus de scaunul tău de domnie!” Şi împăratul s-a închinat pe patul său.

Moreover, the king’s servants came to congratulate our lord King David, saying, ‘May your God make the name of Solomon more famous than yours, and make his throne greater than your throne.’ And the king bowed himself on the bed.

és így szólt: Áldott az ÚR, Izráel Istene, aki a mai napon olyan utódot adott, aki szemem láttára ül a trónra.

És ekképen is szóla a király: Áldott az Úr, Izráel Istene, a ki adott e mai napon olyat, a ki szemeim láttára [helyettem] üljön az én királyi székemben.

And also thus said the king, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which hath given one to sit on my throne this day, mine eyes even seeing it.

Iată ce a zis şi împăratul: „Binecuvântat să fie Domnul Dumnezeul lui Israel care mi-a dat astăzi un urmaş pe scaunul meu de domnie şi mi-a îngăduit să-l văd!”

And the king also said, ‘Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who has granted someone to sit on my throne this day, my own eyes seeing it.’”

Akkor megrettentek, és fölkeltek mindnyájan, akik Adónijjához voltak meghíva, és elment mindenki a maga útjára.

Akkor megrettenének, és felkelének mindnyájan a hivatalosok, a kik Adóniával valának, és kiki mind dolgára méne.

And all the guests that were with Adonijah were afraid, and rose up, and went every man his way.

Toţi cei poftiţi de Adonia s-au umplut de spaimă; s-au sculat şi au plecat care încotro.

Then all the guests of Adonijah trembled and rose, and each went his own way.

Adónijjá azonban annyira félt Salamontól, hogy fölkelt, elfutott, és megragadta az oltár szarvait.

De Adónia félt Salamontól, és felkészülve elfutott, és megragadta az oltárnak szarvait.

And Adonijah feared because of Solomon, and arose, and went, and caught hold on the horns of the altar.

Adonia s-a temut de Solomon; s-a sculat şi el, a plecat şi s-a apucat de coarnele altarului.

And Adonijah feared Solomon. So he arose and went and took hold of the horns of the altar.

Jelentették ezt Salamonnak: Íme, Adónijjá Salamon királytól való félelmében megfogta az oltár szarvait, és azt mondta: Esküdjék meg ma nekem Salamon király, hogy nem öli meg fegyverrel a szolgáját!

Hírül adák pedig Salamonnak ilyen szókkal: Ímé Adónia Salamon királytól való féltében megfogá az oltárnak szarvait, ezt mondván: Esküdjék meg ma nékem Salamon király, hogy meg nem öli az ő szolgáját fegyverrel.

And it was told Solomon, saying, Behold, Adonijah feareth king Solomon: for, lo, he hath caught hold on the horns of the altar, saying, Let king Solomon swear unto me today that he will not slay his servant with the sword.

Au venit şi au spus lui Solomon: „Iată că Adonia se teme de împăratul Solomon şi s-a apucat de coarnele altarului, zicând: „Să-mi jure împăratul Solomon azi că nu va omorî pe robul său cu sabia!”

Then it was told Solomon, “Behold, Adonijah fears King Solomon, for behold, he has laid hold of the horns of the altar, saying, ‘Let King Solomon swear to me first that he will not put his servant to death with the sword.’”

Erre Salamon így szólt: Ha jóravaló lesz, egy hajszál sem esik le a fejéről, de ha gonoszság található benne, meg kell halnia.

És monda Salamon: Ha jámbor lészen, [egy] hajszál fejéről le nem esik a földre; de ha gonoszság találtatik ő benne, meg kell halnia.

And Solomon said, If he will shew himself a worthy man, there shall not an hair of him fall to the earth: but if wickedness shall be found in him, he shall die.

Solomon a zis: „Dacă va fi om cinstit, un păr din cap nu-i va cădea la pământ; dar dacă se va găsi răutate în el, va muri.”

And Solomon said, “If he will show himself a worthy man, not one of his hairs shall fall to the earth, but if wickedness is found in him, he shall die.”

Ekkor Salamon király érte küldött, és elhozták őt az oltártól. Amikor megérkezett, meghajolt a király előtt. Salamon király ezt mondta: Menj haza.

Elkülde azért Salamon király, és elhozák őt az oltártól; és eljövén meghajtá magát Salamon király előtt; és monda Salamon király: Menj el a te házadhoz.

So king Solomon sent, and they brought him down from the altar. And he came and bowed himself to king Solomon: and Solomon said unto him, Go to thine house.

Şi împăratul Solomon a trimis nişte oameni, care l-au coborât de pe altar. El a venit şi s-a închinat înaintea împăratului Solomon, şi Solomon i-a zis: „Du-te acasă.”

So King Solomon sent, and they brought him down from the altar. And he came and paid homage to King Solomon, and Solomon said to him, “Go to your house.”
