Akkor, íme, Isten embere jött az ÚR parancsára Júdából Bételbe, és Jeroboám ott állt az oltár mellett, hogy tömjént gyújtson.

És ímé Isten embere jöve Júdából Béthelbe, az Úrnak intésére, és Jeroboám ott állott az oltár mellett, hogy tömjént gyújtson.

And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the LORD unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense.

Dar iată că un om al lui Dumnezeu a venit din Iuda la Betel, trimis de cuvântul Domnului, tocmai pe când stătea Ieroboam la altar să ardă tămâie.

And behold, a man of God came out of Judah by the word of the LORD to Bethel. Jeroboam was standing by the altar to make offerings.

Így kiáltott az oltár ellen az ÚR szava szerint: Oltár, oltár! Ezt mondja az ÚR: Íme, egy fiú születik Dávid házából, akinek Jósiás lesz a neve. Ő majd föláldozza rajtad a magaslatok papjait, akik most rajtad tömjéneznek, és emberi csontokat égetnek meg rajtad.

And he cried against the altar in the word of the LORD, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the LORD; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall be burnt upon thee.

El a strigat împotriva altarului, după cuvântul Domnului, şi a zis: „Altarule! Altarule! Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Iată că se va naşte un fiu casei lui David; numele lui va fi Iosia; el va înjunghia pe tine pe preoţii înălţimilor, care ard tămâie pe tine, şi pe tine se vor arde oseminte omeneşti!”

And the man cried against the altar by the word of the LORD and said, “O altar, altar, thus says the LORD: ‘Behold, a son shall be born to the house of David, Josiah by name, and he shall sacrifice on you the priests of the high places who make offerings on you, and human bones shall be burned on you.’”

Ugyanazon a napon még csodát is tett, és ezt mondta: Ez lesz a jele, hogy az ÚR mondta ezt: Íme, az oltár meghasad, és kiömlik a hamu, amely rajta van.

And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out.

And he gave a sign the same day, saying, “This is the sign that the LORD has spoken: ‘Behold, the altar shall be torn down, and the ashes that are on it shall be poured out.’”

Amikor meghallotta a király Isten emberének beszédét, amellyel a bételi oltár ellen szólt, Jeroboám kinyújtotta a kezét az oltár mellől, és azt monda: Fogjátok meg! De elszáradt a keze, amelyet kinyújtott ellene, és nem tudta visszahúzni.

And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.

Când a auzit împăratul cuvântul pe care-l strigase omul lui Dumnezeu împotriva altarului din Betel, a întins mâna de pe altar, zicând: „Prindeţi-l!” Şi mâna, pe care o întinsese Ieroboam împotriva lui, s-a uscat şi n-a putut s-o întoarcă înapoi.

And when the king heard the saying of the man of God, which he cried against the altar at Bethel, Jeroboam stretched out his hand from the altar, saying, “Seize him.” And his hand, which he stretched out against him, dried up, so that he could not draw it back to himself.

Az oltár pedig meghasadt, és kiömlött a hamu az oltárról a jel szerint, amelyet Isten embere adott az ÚR beszéde által.

The altar also was rent, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God had given by the word of the LORD.

Altarul s-a despicat, şi cenuşa de pe el s-a vărsat, după semnul pe care-l dăduse omul lui Dumnezeu, potrivit cu cuvântul Domnului.

The altar also was torn down, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign that the man of God had given by the word of the LORD.

Ekkor a király azt mondta Isten emberének: Könyörögj az ÚRhoz, a te Istenedhez, és imádkozz értem, hogy ismét be tudjam hajlítani a kezem. Amikor Isten embere könyörgött az ÚRhoz, a király be tudta hajlítani a kezét, és olyan lett, mint azelőtt.

És szóla a király, és monda az Isten emberének: Könyörögj az Úrnak a te Istenednek, és imádkozz érettem, hogy ismét hozzám hajoljon az én kezem. És mikor könyörgött az Isten embere az Úrnak, visszahajla a király keze, és olyan lőn, mint azelőtt.

And the king answered and said unto the man of God, Intreat now the face of the LORD thy God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again. And the man of God besought the LORD, and the king's hand was restored him again, and became as it was before.

Atunci împăratul a luat cuvântul şi a zis omului lui Dumnezeu: „Roagă-te Domnului Dumnezeului tău şi cere-I să-mi pot trage mâna înapoi.” Omul lui Dumnezeu s-a rugat Domnului, şi împăratul a putut să-şi tragă înapoi mâna, care s-a făcut sănătoasă ca mai înainte.

And the king said to the man of God, “Entreat now the favor of the LORD your God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored to me.” And the man of God entreated the LORD, and the king’s hand was restored to him and became as it was before.

Azt mondta a király Isten emberének: Jöjj haza velem, és egyél velem! Meg akarlak ajándékozni.

És monda a király az Isten emberének: Jere haza velem és egyél ebédet, meg akarlak ajándékozni.

And the king said unto the man of God, Come home with me, and refresh thyself, and I will give thee a reward.

And the king said to the man of God, “Come home with me, and refresh yourself, and I will give you a reward.”

Isten embere azonban ezt mondta a királynak: Ha házad felét nekem adnád is, nem mennék el veled, és nem ennék kenyeret, és vizet sem innék ezen a helyen.

És monda az Isten embere a királynak: Ha a te házadnak felét nékem adnád is, nem mennék el veled, és nem enném kenyeret, sem vizet nem innám e helyen;

And the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place:

Omul lui Dumnezeu a zis împăratului: „Jumătate din casa ta să-mi dai, şi n-aş intra cu tine. Nu voi mânca pâine şi nu voi bea apă în locul acesta;

And the man of God said to the king, “If you give me half your house, I will not go in with you. And I will not eat bread or drink water in this place,

Mert azt parancsolta nekem az ÚR az ő beszéde által: Ne egyél ott kenyeret, vizet se igyál! Ne is azon az úton térj vissza, amelyen elmész!

Mert azt parancsolta az Úr nékem az ő beszéde által, mondván: Ne egyél [ott] kenyeret, vizet se igyál; vissza se térj az úton, a melyen elmenéndesz.

For so was it charged me by the word of the LORD, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest.

căci iată ce poruncă mi-a fost dată, prin cuvântul Domnului: „Să nu mănânci pâine, nici să bei apă şi nici să nu te întorci pe drumul pe care te vei duce.”

for so was it commanded me by the word of the LORD, saying, ‘You shall neither eat bread nor drink water nor return by the way that you came.’”

Ezért más úton ment el, nem azon az úton tért vissza, amelyen Bételbe érkezett.

So he went another way, and returned not by the way that he came to Bethel.

Now there dwelt an old prophet in Bethel; and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Bethel: the words which he had spoken unto the king, them they told also to their father.

Now an old prophet lived in Bethel. And his sons came and told him all that the man of God had done that day in Bethel. They also told to their father the words that he had spoken to the king.

Ekkor azt mondta nekik az apjuk: Melyik úton ment el? Fiai megmutatták azt az utat, amelyen elment Isten embere, aki Júdából jött.

And their father said unto them, What way went he? For his sons had seen what way the man of God went, which came from Judah.

And their father said to them, “Which way did he go?” And his sons showed him the way that the man of God who came from Judah had gone.

Akkor azt mondta fiainak: Nyergeljétek föl nekem a szamarat! Amikor fölnyergelték, fölült rá,

És monda az ő fiainak: Nyergeljétek meg nékem a szamarat; és mikor megnyergelék néki a szamarat, felüle reá,

And he said unto his sons, Saddle me the ass. So they saddled him the ass: and he rode thereon,

Şi a zis fiilor săi: „Puneţi-mi şaua pe măgar.” I-au pus şaua pe măgar, şi a încălecat pe el.

And he said to his sons, “Saddle the donkey for me.” So they saddled the donkey for him and he mounted it.

és elment Isten embere után. Megtalálta őt egy tölgyfa alatt ülve, és azt mondta neki: Te vagy-e az Isten embere, aki Júdából jött? Ő így felelt: Én vagyok.

És elméne az Isten embere után, és megtalálá őt egy cserfa alatt ülve, és monda néki: Te vagy-é amaz Isten embere, a ki Júdából jöttél? És monda: Én vagyok.

And went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak: and he said unto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, I am.

S-a dus după omul lui Dumnezeu şi l-a găsit stând sub un stejar. Şi i-a zis: „Tu eşti omul lui Dumnezeu care a venit din Iuda?” El a răspuns: „Eu sunt.”

And he went after the man of God and found him sitting under an oak. And he said to him, “Are you the man of God who came from Judah?” And he said, “I am.”

Akkor ezt mondta neki: Jöjj haza velem, és egyél kenyeret!

Then he said unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread.

Then he said to him, “Come home with me and eat bread.”

De ő így felelt: Nem mehetek vissza veled, be sem mehetek hozzád. Nem eszem kenyeret, vizet sem iszom veled ezen a helyen,

And he said, I may not return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place:

Dar el a răspuns: „Nu pot nici să mă întorc cu tine, nici să intru la tine. Nu voi mânca pâine şi nici nu voi bea apă cu tine în locul acesta;

And he said, “I may not return with you, or go in with you, neither will I eat bread nor drink water with you in this place,

mert az ÚR szava megparancsolta nekem: Ne egyél kenyeret, vizet se igyál ott, és ne azon az úton térj vissza, amelyen odamész.

Mert meg van nékem az Úrnak beszédével parancsolva: Ne egyél kenyeret, vizet se igyál ott, és ne térj azon az úton vissza, a melyen oda menéndesz.

For it was said to me by the word of the LORD, Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest.

căci mi s-a spus prin cuvântul Domnului: „Să nu mănânci pâine, nici să nu bei apă acolo şi nici să nu te întorci pe drumul pe care te vei duce.”

for it was said to me by the word of the LORD, ‘You shall neither eat bread nor drink water there, nor return by the way that you came.’”

Ő így felelt neki: Én is olyan próféta vagyok, mint te, és nekem angyal szólt az ÚR beszédével, és azt mondta: Hozd vissza őt magaddal a házadba, hogy kenyeret egyék és vizet igyék. Így hazudott neki.

És felele az néki: Én is olyan próféta [vagyok,] mint te, és nékem angyal szólott az Úrnak beszédével, mondván: Hozd vissza őt veled a te házadba, hogy kenyeret egyék és vizet igyék. És e képen hazuda néki.

He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.

Şi el i-a zis: „Şi eu sunt proroc ca tine; şi un înger mi-a vorbit din partea Domnului şi mi-a zis: „Adu-l acasă cu tine ca să mănânce pâine şi să bea apă.” Îl minţea.

And he said to him, “I also am a prophet as you are, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the LORD, saying, ‘Bring him back with you into your house that he may eat bread and drink water.’” But he lied to him.

So he went back with him, and did eat bread in his house, and drank water.

Még az asztalnál ültek, mikor az ÚR igéje szólt ahhoz a prófétához, aki visszahozta őt,

Mikor pedig az asztalnál ülének: lőn az Úr beszéde a prófétához, a ki őt visszahozta vala,

And it came to pass, as they sat at the table, that the word of the LORD came unto the prophet that brought him back:

Pe când stăteau ei la masă, cuvântul Domnului a vorbit prorocului, care-l adusese înapoi.

And as they sat at the table, the word of the LORD came to the prophet who had brought him back.

és így kiáltott az Isten emberének, aki Júdából jött: Azt mondja az ÚR, hogy mivel engedetlen voltál az ÚR szájának, és nem tartottad meg a parancsolatot, amelyet az ÚR, a te Istened parancsolt neked,

És kiálta az Isten emberének, a ki Júdából jött vala, ezt mondván: Ezt mondja az Úr: Mivelhogy engedetlen voltál az Úr szájának, és meg nem tartottad a parancsolatot, a melyet néked az Úr, a te Istened parancsolt volt;

And he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the LORD, and hast not kept the commandment which the LORD thy God commanded thee,

Şi el a strigat omului lui Dumnezeu care venise din Iuda: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Pentru că n-ai ascultat porunca Domnului şi n-ai păzit porunca pe care ţi-o dăduse Domnul Dumnezeul tău;

And he cried to the man of God who came from Judah, “Thus says the LORD, ‘Because you have disobeyed the word of the LORD and have not kept the command that the LORD your God commanded you,

hanem visszatértél, és kenyeret ettél és vizet ittál azon a helyen, amely felől azt mondta neked, hogy ne egyél ott kenyeret, és vizet se igyál: nem temetik testedet a te atyáid sírjába.

Hanem visszatértél, és kenyeret ettél és vizet ittál azon a helyen, a mely felől azt mondotta vala néked: Ne egyél [ott] kenyeret, vizet se igyál: Nem temettetik a te tested a te atyáid sírjába.

But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which the Lord did say to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers.

pentru că te-ai întors şi ai mâncat pâine şi ai băut apă – în locul despre care îţi spusese: „Să nu mănânci pâine şi să nu bei apă acolo” – trupul tău mort nu va intra în mormântul părinţilor tăi.”

but have come back and have eaten bread and drunk water in the place of which he said to you, “Eat no bread and drink no water,” your body shall not come to the tomb of your fathers.’”

And it came to pass, after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled for him the ass, to wit, for the prophet whom he had brought back.

And after he had eaten bread and drunk, he saddled the donkey for the prophet whom he had brought back.

Elment, de az úton egy oroszlán talált rá, és megölte őt. Teste pedig az úton hevert, és mind a szamár, mind az oroszlán a holttest mellett állt.

És mikor elment, egy oroszlán találá őt az úton, a mely megölé őt; és az ő teste az úton fekszik vala, és mind a szamár, mind az oroszlán a holttest mellett állanak vala.

And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase.

Omul lui Dumnezeu a plecat; şi a fost întâlnit pe drum de un leu, care l-a omorât. Trupul lui mort era întins pe drum; măgarul a rămas lângă el, şi leul stătea şi el lângă trup.

And as he went away a lion met him on the road and killed him. And his body was thrown in the road, and the donkey stood beside it; the lion also stood beside the body.

És íme, az arra menő emberek látták az úton heverő testet és az oroszlánt a holttest mellett állni. Továbbmentek, és elbeszélték a városban, amelyben a vén próféta lakott.

And, behold, men passed by, and saw the carcase cast in the way, and the lion standing by the carcase: and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet dwelt.

And behold, men passed by and saw the body thrown in the road and the lion standing by the body. And they came and told it in the city where the old prophet lived.

Amikor meghallotta ezt az a próféta, aki visszahozta őt az útról, azt mondta: Íme, az Isten embere, aki engedetlen volt az ÚR szavának. Ezért adta őt az ÚR az oroszlánnak, és az széttépte és megölte őt az ÚR beszéde szerint, amelyet megmondott neki.

And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said, It is the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the LORD: therefore the LORD hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake unto him.

Când a auzit lucrul acesta prorocul care întorsese de pe drum pe omul lui Dumnezeu, a zis: „Este omul lui Dumnezeu care n-a ascultat de porunca Domnului, şi Domnul l-a dat în ghearele leului, care l-a sfâşiat şi l-a omorât, după cuvântul pe care i-l spusese Domnul.”

And when the prophet who had brought him back from the way heard of it, he said, “It is the man of God who disobeyed the word of the LORD; therefore the LORD has given him to the lion, which has torn him and killed him, according to the word that the LORD spoke to him.”

Majd ezt mondta fiainak: Nyergeljétek föl nekem a szamarat. Erre fölnyergelték.

And he spake to his sons, saying, Saddle me the ass. And they saddled him.

And he said to his sons, “Saddle the donkey for me.” And they saddled it.

And he went and found his carcase cast in the way, and the ass and the lion standing by the carcase: the lion had not eaten the carcase, nor torn the ass.

And he went and found his body thrown in the road, and the donkey and the lion standing beside the body. The lion had not eaten the body or torn the donkey.

Fölvette a próféta Isten emberének a holttestét, föltette a szamárra, visszahozta azt, és bement vele a városba a vén próféta, hogy ott megsirassa és eltemesse.

And the prophet took up the carcase of the man of God, and laid it upon the ass, and brought it back: and the old prophet came to the city, to mourn and to bury him.

And the prophet took up the body of the man of God and laid it on the donkey and brought it back to the city to mourn and to bury him.

And he laid his carcase in his own grave; and they mourned over him, saying, Alas, my brother!

Miután eltemette őt, így szólt fiaihoz: Ha meghalok, ebbe a sírba temessetek engem is, amelybe Isten emberét temettük, csontjaimat tegyétek az ő csontjai mellé.

És miután eltemette őt, szóla az ő fiainak, mondván: Ha meghalok, ebbe a sírba temessetek engem is, a melybe az Isten embere temettetett, tetemimet tegyétek az ő tetemei mellé;

And after he had buried him, he said to his sons, “When I die, bury me in the grave in which the man of God is buried; lay my bones beside his bones.

Mert beteljesedik az, amit az ÚR szavával kiáltott az oltár ellen, amely Bételben van, és a magaslatok templomai ellen, amelyek Samária városaiban vannak.

Mert beteljesedik az, a mit kiáltott az Úrnak beszédével az oltár ellen, a mely Béthelben van, és a magas helyeken való házak ellen, a melyek Samaria városaiban vannak.

For the saying which he cried by the word of the LORD against the altar in Bethel, and against all the houses of the high places which are in the cities of Samaria, shall surely come to pass.

Căci se va împlini cuvântul pe care l-a strigat el din partea Domnului împotriva altarului din Betel şi împotriva tuturor capiştilor de înălţimi din cetăţile Samariei.”

For the saying that he called out by the word of the LORD against the altar in Bethel and against all the houses of the high places that are in the cities of Samaria shall surely come to pass.”

De ezek után az események után sem tért meg Jeroboám az ő gonosz útjáról, hanem ismét papokat rendelt a nép közül a magaslatokra. Bárkit, aki ezt akarta, fölszentelt, hogy a magaslatok papja legyen.

De még e történet után sem tért meg Jeroboám az ő gonosz útjáról, hanem ismét papokat rendele a nép aljából a magaslatokra, és a ki akarja vala, azt szentelé fel, hogy legyen a magaslatok papja.

After this thing Jeroboam returned not from his evil way, but made again of the lowest of the people priests of the high places: whosoever would, he consecrated him, and he became one of the priests of the high places.

După întâmplarea aceasta, Ieroboam nu s-a abătut de pe calea lui cea rea. A pus iarăşi preoţi pentru înălţimi, luaţi din tot poporul: pe oricine dorea, îl sfinţea preot al înălţimilor.

After this thing Jeroboam did not turn from his evil way, but made priests for the high places again from among all the people. Any who would, he ordained to be priests of the high places.

Ez a dolog lett Jeroboám házának vétke, emiatt irtották ki a föld színéről, és emiatt semmisült meg.

És ez a dolog lett az [oka] a Jeroboám háza vétkének, és a föld színéről való kiirtatásának és megsemmisíttetésének.

And this thing became sin unto the house of Jeroboam, even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth.

Şi fapta aceasta a fost un prilej de păcătuire pentru casa lui Ieroboam, şi pentru aceasta a fost nimicită ea şi ştearsă de pe faţa pământului.

And this thing became sin to the house of Jeroboam, so as to cut it off and to destroy it from the face of the earth.
