Amikor Bálám látta, hogy tetszik az ÚRnak, hogy megáldja Izráelt, nem folyamodott többé varázslatokhoz, mint azelőtt, hanem a puszta felé fordította az arcát.

Mikor pedig látta Bálám, hogy tetszik az Úrnak, hogy megáldja Izráelt, nem indula, mint az előtt, varázslatok után, hanem fordítá az ő orczáját a puszta felé.

And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.

Balaam a văzut că Domnul găseşte cu cale să binecuvânteze pe Israel şi n-a mai alergat ca în celelalte rânduri la descântece; ci şi-a întors faţa spre pustiu.

When Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he did not go, as at other times, to look for omens, but set his face toward the wilderness.

Mikor azután fölemelte Bálám a szemét, látta Izráelt törzsenként sátorozni, és rászállt az Isten Lelke.

És mikor felemelte Bálám az ő szemeit, látá Izráelt, a mint letelepedett az ő nemzetségei szerint; és Istennek lelke vala ő rajta.

And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him.

Balaam a ridicat ochii şi a văzut pe Israel tăbărât în corturi, după seminţiile lui. Atunci Duhul lui Dumnezeu a venit peste el.

And Balaam lifted up his eyes and saw Israel camping tribe by tribe. And the Spirit of God came upon him,

Akkor belekezdett példabeszédébe: Bálámnak, Beór fiának szózata, a megnyílt szemű ember szózata.

Akkor elkezdé az ő példázó beszédét és monda: Bálámnak, Beór fiának szózata, a megnyílt szemű embernek szózata.

And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:

Balaam şi-a rostit prorocia şi a zis: „Iată ce zice Balaam, fiul lui Beor, omul cu ochii deschişi,

and he took up his discourse and said, “The oracle of Balaam the son of Beor, the oracle of the man whose eye is opened,

Annak szózata, aki hallja Isten beszédét, aki látja a Mindenhatótól kapott látomást leborulva, de nyitott szemekkel:

Annak szózata, a ki hallja Istennek beszédét, a ki látja a Mindenhatónak látását, leborulva, de nyitott szemekkel:

He hath said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:

cel ce aude cuvintele lui Dumnezeu, cel ce vede vedenia Celui Atotputernic, cel ce cade cu faţa la pământ şi ai cărui ochi sunt deschişi:

the oracle of him who hears the words of God, who sees the vision of the Almighty, falling down with his eyes uncovered:

Mily szépek a sátraid, ó, Jákób, hajlékaid, ó, Izráel!

Mily szépek a te sátoraid óh Jákób! a te hajlékaid óh Izráel!

How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel!

„Ce frumoase sunt corturile tale, Iacove! Locuinţele tale, Israele!

How lovely are your tents, O Jacob, your encampments, O Israel!

Mint hosszan húzódó völgyek, mint kertek a folyóvíz mellett, mint az ÚR ültette aloék, mint cédrusfák a vizek mellett!

Mint kiterjesztett völgyek, mint kertek a folyóvíz mellett, mint az Úr plántálta áloék, mint czédrusfák a vizek mellett!

As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees of lign aloes which the LORD hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters.

Ele se întind ca nişte văi, ca nişte grădini lângă un râu, ca nişte copaci de aloe, pe care i-a sădit Domnul, ca nişte cedri pe lângă ape.

Like palm groves that stretch afar, like gardens beside a river, like aloes that the LORD has planted, like cedar trees beside the waters.

Kicsordul a víz vödreiből, vetését bő víz öntözi. Királya nagyobb Agágnál, és fölmagasztaltatik királysága.

Víz ömledez az ő vedreiből, vetését bő víz [öntözi;] királya nagyobb Agágnál, és felmagasztaltatik az ő országa.

He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.

Apa curge din găleţile lui, şi sămânţa lui este udată de ape mari. Împăratul lui se înalţă mai presus de Agag, şi împărăţia lui ajunge puternică.

Water shall flow from his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters; his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.

Isten hozta ki Egyiptomból, ereje olyan, mint a vadbivalyé. Megemészti a pogányokat, az ő ellenségeit; csontjaikat megtöri, és nyilaival átveri.

Isten hozta ki Égyiptomból, az ő ereje mint a vad bivalyé: megemészti a pogányokat, az ő ellenségeit; csontjaikat megtöri, és nyilaival által veri.

God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.

Dumnezeu l-a scos din Egipt, tăria Lui este ca a bivolului pentru el. El nimiceşte neamurile care se ridică împotriva lui, le sfărâmă oasele şi le prăpădeşte cu săgeţile Lui.

God brings him out of Egypt and is for him like the horns of the wild ox; he shall eat up the nations, his adversaries, and shall break their bones in pieces and pierce them through with his arrows.

Lehever, nyugszik mint hím oroszlán és mint nőstény oroszlán. Ki kelti föl? Aki áld téged, áldott lesz, és aki átkoz téged, átkozott lesz.

Lehever, nyugszik mint hím oroszlán, és mint nőstény oroszlán; ki serkenti fel őt? A ki áld téged, áldott lészen, és ki átkoz téged, átkozott lészen.

He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.

Îndoaie genunchii, se culcă întocmai ca un leu, ca o leoaică: Cine îl va scula? Binecuvântat să fie oricine te va binecuvânta şi blestemat să fie oricine te va blestema!”

He crouched, he lay down like a lion and like a lioness; who will rouse him up? Blessed are those who bless you, and cursed are those who curse you.”

Ekkor fölgerjedt Bálák haragja Bálám ellen, összecsapta kezét, és azt mondta Bálámnak: Azért hívtalak téged, hogy átkozd meg ellenségeimet, és íme, igen megáldottad őket immár harmadjára.

És felgerjede Báláknak haragja Bálám ellen, és egybeüté kezeit, és monda Bálák Bálámnak: Azért hívtalak téged, hogy átkozd meg ellenségeimet; és ímé igen megáldottad immár három ízben.

And Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times.

Balac s-a aprins de mânie împotriva lui Balaam; a bătut din mâini şi a zis lui Balaam: „Eu te-am chemat să-mi blestemi vrăjmaşii, şi iată că de trei ori tu i-ai binecuvântat!

And Balak’s anger was kindled against Balaam, and he struck his hands together. And Balak said to Balaam, “I called you to curse my enemies, and behold, you have blessed them these three times.

Most azért menekülj a helyedre. Mondtam, hogy igen megtisztellek, de íme, megfosztott téged az ÚR a tisztességtől.

Most azért fuss a te helyedre. Mondottam vala, hogy igen megtisztellek téged; de ímé megfosztott téged az Úr a tisztességtől.

Therefore now flee thou to thy place: I thought to promote thee unto great honour; but, lo, the LORD hath kept thee back from honour.

Fugi acum şi du-te acasă! Spusesem că-ţi voi da cinste, dar Domnul te-a împiedicat s-o primeşti.”

Therefore now flee to your own place. I said, ‘I will certainly honor you,’ but the LORD has held you back from honor.”

Bálám azt mondta Báláknak: Követeidnek is, akiket hozzám küldtél, nem megmondtam-e:

És monda Bálám Báláknak: A te követeidnek is, a kiket küldöttél volt hozzám, nem így szólottam-é, mondván:

And Balaam said unto Balak, Spake I not also to thy messengers which thou sentest unto me, saying,

Balaam a răspuns lui Balac: „Eh! n-am spus eu oare solilor pe care mi i-ai trimis,

And Balaam said to Balak, “Did I not tell your messengers whom you sent to me,

Ha Bálák a házát ezüsttel és arannyal tele adná is nekem, az ÚR beszédét nem hághatom át, hogy magamtól jót vagy rosszat cselekedjem. Amit az ÚR szól, azt szólom.

Ha Bálák az ő házát ezüsttel és aranynyal tele adná is nékem, az Úrnak beszédét által nem hághatom, hogy magamtól jót, vagy rosszat cselekedjem. A mit az Úr szól, azt szólom.

If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the LORD, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what the LORD saith, that will I speak?

că dacă mi-ar da Balac chiar şi casa lui plină cu argint şi cu aur, tot n-aş putea să fac de la mine însumi nici bine, nici rău împotriva poruncii Domnului, ci voi spune întocmai ce va zice Domnul?

‘If Balak should give me his house full of silver and gold, I would not be able to go beyond the word of the LORD, to do either good or bad of my own will. What the LORD speaks, that will I speak’?

Most pedig, íme, elmegyek népemhez. Jöjj, hadd jelentsem ki még neked, mit fog cselekedni e nép a te népeddel a távoli jövőben.

Most pedig én elmegyek ímé az én népemhez; jőjj, hadd jelentsem ki néked, mit fog cselekedni e nép a te népeddel, a következő időben.

And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise thee what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days.

Şi acum iată că mă duc la poporul meu. Vino, şi-ţi voi vesti ce va face poporul acesta poporului tău în vremurile care vor urma.”

And now, behold, I am going to my people. Come, I will let you know what this people will do to your people in the latter days.”

És így kezdte példabeszédét: Bálámnak, Beór fiának szózata, a megnyílt szemű embernek a szózata.

És elkezdé az ő példázó beszédét, és monda: Bálámnak, Beór fiának szózata, a megnyilt szemű ember szózata,

And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:

Balaam şi-a rostit prorocia şi a zis: „Aşa zice Balaam, fiul lui Beor, aşa zice omul care are ochii deschişi,

And he took up his discourse and said, “The oracle of Balaam the son of Beor, the oracle of the man whose eye is opened,

Annak szózata, aki hallja Isten beszédét, és ismeri a Magasságos tudományát, és aki látja a Mindenhatótól kapott látomást leborulva, de nyitott szemekkel.

Annak szózata, a ki hallja Istennek beszédét, és a ki tudja a Magasságosnak tudományát, és a ki látja a Mindenhatónak látását, leborulva, de nyitott szemekkel.

He hath said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:

aşa zice cel ce aude cuvintele lui Dumnezeu, cel ce cunoaşte planurile Celui Preaînalt, cel ce vede vedenia Celui Atotputernic, cel ce cade cu faţa la pământ şi ai cărui ochi sunt deschişi:

the oracle of him who hears the words of God, and knows the knowledge of the Most High, who sees the vision of the Almighty, falling down with his eyes uncovered:

Látom őt, de nem most. Nézem őt, de nem közel. Csillag származik Jákóbból, és királyi pálca támad Izráelből. Bezúzza Móáb halántékát, és összetöri Sét minden fiának koponyáját.

Látom őt, de nem most; nézem őt, de nem közel. Csillag származik Jákóbból, és királyi pálcza támad Izráelből; és általveri Moábnak oldalait, és összetöri Sethnek minden fiait.

I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.

„Îl văd, dar nu acum, Îl privesc, dar nu de aproape. O stea răsare din Iacov, un toiag de cârmuire se ridică din Israel. El străpunge laturile Moabului şi prăpădeşte pe toţi copiii lui Set.

I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near: a star shall come out of Jacob, and a scepter shall rise out of Israel; it shall crush the forehead of Moab and break down all the sons of Sheth.

Birtokba kerül Edóm, és birtokba kerül Széír, az ő ellensége is. Izráel hatalmasan cselekszik.

És Edom [más] birtoka lesz, Szeir az ő ellensége is [másnak] birtoka lesz; de hatalmasan cselekszik Izráel.

And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly.

Se face stăpân pe Edom, se face stăpân pe Seir, vrăjmaşii lui. Israel face fapte mari.

Edom shall be dispossessed; Seir also, his enemies, shall be dispossessed. Israel is doing valiantly.

Jákóbból uralkodó támad, és elveszti a városból azt, aki megmaradt.

És uralkodik a Jákóbtól való, és elveszti a városból a megmaradtat.

Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remaineth of the city.

Cel ce se naşte din Iacov domneşte ca stăpânitor şi pierde pe cei ce scapă din cetăţi.”

And one from Jacob shall exercise dominion and destroy the survivors of cities!”

Amikor Amálékre nézett, így kezdte példabeszédét: Amálék első a nemzetek között, de végül mindenestül elvész.

És mikor látja vala Amáleket, elkezdé az ő példázó beszédét, és monda: Amálek első a nemzetek között, de végezetre mindenestől elvész.

And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever.

Balaam a văzut pe Amalec şi a rostit următoarea prorocie: „Amalec este cel dintâi dintre neamuri, dar într-o zi va fi nimicit.”

Then he looked on Amalek and took up his discourse and said, “Amalek was the first among the nations, but its end is utter destruction.”

Amikor a kéniekre nézett, így kezdte példabeszédét: Erős a te lakhelyed, és sziklára raktad fészkedet.

És mikor látja vala a Keneust, elkezdé példázó beszédét, és monda: Erős a te lakhelyed, és sziklára raktad fészkedet;

And he looked on the Kenites, and took up his parable, and said, Strong is thy dwellingplace, and thou puttest thy nest in a rock.

Balaam a văzut pe cheniţi şi a rostit următoarea prorocie: „Locuinţa ta este tare de tot, şi cuibul tău este pus pe stâncă.

And he looked on the Kenite, and took up his discourse and said, “Enduring is your dwelling place, and your nest is set in the rock.

Mégis el fog pusztulni Kain, amikor fogságba visz Assúr.

Mégis el fog pusztulni Kain; a míg Assur téged fogva viszen.

Nevertheless the Kenite shall be wasted, until Asshur shall carry thee away captive.

Dar Cain va fi pustiit, până ce te va lua prins Asur.”

Nevertheless, Kain shall be burned when Asshur takes you away captive.”

Megint példabeszédbe kezdett, és azt mondta: Ó, ki marad még életben, amikor Isten véghezviszi ezt?

Újra kezdé az ő példázó beszédét, és monda: Óh, ki fog élni még, a mikor véghez viszi ezt az Isten?

And he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God doeth this!

Balaam a rostit următoarea prorocie: „Vai! Cine va mai putea trăi când va face Dumnezeu acest lucru?

And he took up his discourse and said, “Alas, who shall live when God does this?

Hajók jönnek Kittím partjairól, nyomorgatják Assúrt, nyomorgatják Ébert, míg mindenestül el nem vész az is.

És Kittim partjairól hajók [jőnek,] és nyomorgatják Assúrt, nyomorgatják Ébert is, és ez is mindenestől elvész.

And ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber, and he also shall perish for ever.

Dar nişte corăbii vor veni din Chitim, vor smeri pe Asur, vor smeri pe Eber; şi la urmă vor fi nimicite şi ele.”

But ships shall come from Kittim and shall afflict Asshur and Eber; and he too shall come to utter destruction.”

Azután fölkelt Bálám, és elment, hogy visszatérjen hazájába. Bálák is elment a maga útján.

Felkele azért Bálám, és elméne, hogy visszatérjen az ő helyére. És Bálák is elméne az ő útján.

And Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place: and Balak also went his way.

Balaam s-a sculat, a plecat şi s-a întors acasă. Balac a plecat şi el acasă.

Then Balaam rose and went back to his place. And Balak also went his way.
