Ekkor azt mondta Bálám Báláknak: Építs itt nekem hét oltárt, és készíts ide nekem hét bikát és hét kost.

És monda Bálám Báláknak: Építs itt nékem hét oltárt, és készíts el ide nékem hét tulkot és hét kost.

And Balaam said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven oxen and seven rams.

Balaam a zis lui Balac: „Zideşte-mi aici şapte altare şi pregăteşte-mi aici şapte viţei şi şapte berbeci.”

And Balaam said to Balak, “Build for me here seven altars, and prepare for me here seven bulls and seven rams.”

Bálák úgy cselekedett, ahogy Bálám meghagyta. Azután Bálák és Bálám mindegyik oltáron egy-egy bikát és egy-egy kost áldozott.

És úgy cselekedék Bálák a miképen mondotta vala Bálám. És áldozék Bálák és Bálám mindenik oltáron egy-egy tulkot és egy-egy kost.

And Balak did as Balaam had spoken; and Balak and Balaam offered on every altar a bullock and a ram.

Balac a făcut cum spusese Balaam; şi Balac şi Balaam au adus câte un viţel şi câte un berbec pe fiecare altar.

Balak did as Balaam had said. And Balak and Balaam offered on each altar a bull and a ram.

Majd azt mondta Bálám Báláknak: Állj meg égőáldozatod mellett, én pedig elmegyek. Talán elém jön az ÚR, és amit mutat nekem, azt elmondom neked. S elment egy kopasz oromra.

És monda Bálám Báláknak: Állj meg a te égőáldozatod mellett, én pedig elmegyek; talán előmbe jő az Úr nékem, és a mit mutat majd nékem, megjelentem néked. Elméne azért egy kopasz oromra.

And Balaam said unto Balak, Stand by thy burnt offering, and I will go: peradventure the LORD will come to meet me: and whatsoever he sheweth me I will tell thee. And he went to an high place.

Balaam a zis lui Balac: „Stai lângă arderea ta de tot, şi eu mă voi depărta de ea; poate că Domnul îmi va ieşi înainte; şi ce-mi va descoperi, îţi voi spune.” Şi s-a dus pe un loc înalt.

And Balaam said to Balak, “Stand beside your burnt offering, and I will go. Perhaps the LORD will come to meet me, and whatever he shows me I will tell you.” And he went to a bare height,

Itt Isten Bálám elé ment, és azt mondta neki Bálám: A hét oltárt elrendeztem, és mindegyik oltáron egy-egy bikát és egy-egy kost áldoztam.

És elébe méne Isten Bálámnak, és monda néki [Bálám]: A hét oltárt elrendeztem, és áldoztam mindenik oltáron egy-egy tulkot és egy-egy kost.

And God met Balaam: and he said unto him, I have prepared seven altars, and I have offered upon every altar a bullock and a ram.

Dumnezeu a venit înaintea lui Balaam; şi Balaam I-a zis: „Am ridicat şapte altare, şi pe fiecare altar am adus câte un viţel şi câte un berbec.”

and God met Balaam. And Balaam said to him, “I have arranged the seven altars and I have offered on each altar a bull and a ram.”

Az ÚR pedig Bálám szájába adta igéjét, és azt mondta neki: Térj vissza Bálákhoz, és eszerint szólj.

Az Úr pedig ígét ada Bálámnak szájába, és monda néki: Térj vissza Bálákhoz, és így szólj.

And the LORD put a word in Balaam's mouth, and said, Return unto Balak, and thus thou shalt speak.

Domnul a pus cuvinte în gura lui Balaam şi a zis: „Întoarce-te la Balac şi aşa să-i vorbeşti.”

And the LORD put a word in Balaam’s mouth and said, “Return to Balak, and thus you shall speak.”

Amikor visszatért hozzá, íme, az ő égőáldozata mellett állt ő és Móáb minden főembere.

És visszatére ő hozzá, és ímé áll vala az ő égőáldozata mellett; ő maga és Moábnak minden fejedelme.

And he returned unto him, and, lo, he stood by his burnt sacrifice, he, and all the princes of Moab.

Balaam s-a întors la Balac; şi iată că Balac stătea lângă arderea lui de tot, el şi toate căpeteniile Moabului.

And he returned to him, and behold, he and all the princes of Moab were standing beside his burnt offering.

És elkezdte példabeszédét, és azt mondta: Arámból hozatott ide Bálák, Móáb királya kelet hegyeiről, és azt mondta: Jöjj, átkozd meg nekem Jákóbot, és jöjj, kárhoztasd Izráelt.

És elkezdé az ő példázó beszédét, és monda: Siriából hozatott engem Bálák, Moábnak királya kelet hegyeiről, [mondván:] Jöjj, átkozd meg nékem Jákóbot, és jöjj, szidalmazd meg Izráelt;

And he took up his parable, and said, Balak the king of Moab hath brought me from Aram, out of the mountains of the east, saying, Come, curse me Jacob, and come, defy Israel.

Balaam şi-a rostit prorocia şi a zis: „Balac m-a adus din Aram. Împăratul Moabului m-a chemat din munţii răsăritului, zicând: „Vino şi blestemă-mi pe Iacov! Vino şi defaimă-mi pe Israel!”

And Balaam took up his discourse and said, “From Aram Balak has brought me, the king of Moab from the eastern mountains: ‘Come, curse Jacob for me, and come, denounce Israel!’

Miért átkozzam azt, akit Isten nem átkoz, és miért szidalmazzam azt, akit az ÚR nem szidalmaz?

Mit átkozzam azt, a kit Isten nem átkoz, és mit szidalmazzam azt, a kit az Úr nem szidalmaz?

How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the LORD hath not defied?

Cum să blestem eu pe cel ce nu-l blestemă Dumnezeu? Cum să defaim eu pe cel ce nu-l defaimă Domnul?

How can I curse whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce whom the LORD has not denounced?

A sziklák tetejéről nézem őt, a halmokról tekintek reá. Íme, olyan nép ez, amely egyedül fog lakni, és nem számítja magát a nemzetek közé.

Mert sziklák tetejéről nézem őt, és halmokról tekintem őt; ímé oly nép, a mely maga fog lakni, és nem számláltatik a nemzetek közé.

For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.

Îl văd din vârful stâncilor, Îl privesc de pe înălţimea dealurilor: Este un popor care locuieşte deoparte şi nu face parte dintre neamuri.

For from the top of the crags I see him, from the hills I behold him; behold, a people dwelling alone, and not counting itself among the nations!

Ki számlálhatja meg Jákóbot – száma, mint a por – és Izráelnek csak a negyedrészét is? Bár halna meg lelkem az igazak halálával, és olyan lenne az én utolsó napom, mint az övé!

Ki számlálhatja meg a Jákób porát, és Izráel negyedrészének számát? Haljon meg az én lelkem az igazak halálával, és legyen az én utolsó napom, mint az övé!

Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his!

Cine poate să numere pulberea lui Iacov şi să spună numărul unui sfert din Israel? O, de aş muri de moartea celor neprihăniţi, şi sfârşitul meu să fie ca al lor!”

Who can count the dust of Jacob or number the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the upright, and let my end be like his!”

Ekkor azt mondta Bálák Bálámnak: Mit teszel velem? Azért hoztalak, hogy átkozd meg ellenségeimet, és íme, te igen megáldottad őket!

És monda Bálák Bálámnak: Mit cselekeszel én velem? Hogy megátkozzad ellenségeimet, azért hoztalak téged, és ímé igen megáldád őket.

And Balak said unto Balaam, What hast thou done unto me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed them altogether.

Balac a zis lui Balaam: „Ce mi-ai făcut? Te-am luat să blestemi pe vrăjmaşul meu, şi iată că tu-l binecuvântezi!”

And Balak said to Balaam, “What have you done to me? I took you to curse my enemies, and behold, you have done nothing but bless them.”

Ő pedig így felelt: Hát nem arra kell-e vigyáznom, hogy csak azt szóljam, amit az ÚR ad a számba?

Ez pedig felele és monda: Avagy nem arra kell-é vigyáznom, hogy azt szóljam, a mit az Úr adott az én számba?

And he answered and said, Must I not take heed to speak that which the LORD hath put in my mouth?

El a răspuns şi a zis: „Nu trebuie oare să spun ce-mi pune Domnul în gură?”

And he answered and said, “Must I not take care to speak what the LORD puts in my mouth?”

Ekkor azt mondta neki Bálák: Kérlek, jöjj velem egy másik helyre, ahonnan láthatod azt a népet, mert csak egy részét látod, mindenestül nem látod. Onnan átkozd meg nekem őt.

Monda azután néki Bálák: Kérlek, jöjj velem más helyre, honnét meglássad őt, de csak valamely részét látod annak, és őt mindenestől nem látod, és átkozd meg őt onnét nékem.

And Balak said unto him, Come, I pray thee, with me unto another place, from whence thou mayest see them: thou shalt see but the utmost part of them, and shalt not see them all: and curse me them from thence.

Balac i-a zis: „Vino, te rog, cu mine în alt loc, de unde îl poţi vedea; căci aici nu vezi decât o parte din el, nu-l vezi întreg. Şi de acolo să mi-l blestemi.”

And Balak said to him, “Please come with me to another place, from which you may see them. You shall see only a fraction of them and shall not see them all. Then curse them for me from there.”

Az őrállók helyére vitte, a Piszgá tetejére, hét oltárt épített ott, és egy-egy bikát és egy-egy kost áldozott mindegyik oltáron.

És vivé őt az őrállók helyére, a Piszga tetejére, és építe hét oltárt, és áldozék egy-egy tulkot és egy-egy kost mindenik oltáron.

And he brought him into the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars, and offered a bullock and a ram on every altar.

L-a dus în câmpul Ţofim, spre vârful muntelui Pisga; a zidit şapte altare şi a adus câte un viţel şi un berbec pe fiecare altar.

And he took him to the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.

Majd azt mondta Báláknak: Állj meg itt égőáldozatod mellett, én pedig eléje megyek amoda.

És monda Báláknak: Állj meg itt a te égőáldozatod mellett, én pedig elébe megyek amoda.

And he said unto Balak, Stand here by thy burnt offering, while I meet the LORD yonder.

Balaam a zis lui Balac: „Stai aici, lângă arderea ta de tot, şi eu mă voi duce înaintea lui Dumnezeu.”

Balaam said to Balak, “Stand here beside your burnt offering, while I meet the LORD over there.”

Az ÚR Bálám elé ment, igét adott a szájába, és azt mondta: Térj vissza Bálákhoz, és e szerint beszélj.

Elébe méne azért az Úr Bálámnak, és ígét ada az ő szájába, és monda: Térj vissza Bálákhoz, és így szólj.

And the LORD met Balaam, and put a word in his mouth, and said, Go again unto Balak, and say thus.

Domnul a venit înaintea lui Balaam; i-a pus cuvinte în gură şi a zis: „Întoarce-te la Balac şi aşa să-i vorbeşti.”

And the LORD met Balaam and put a word in his mouth and said, “Return to Balak, and thus shall you speak.”

Amikor visszament hozzá, íme, az égőáldozata mellett állt, és Móáb főemberei is ővele. Azt kérdezte tőle Bálák: Mit szólt az ÚR?

Méne azért ő hozzá, és ímé ő áll vala az ő égőáldozata mellett, és Moáb fejedelmei is ő vele. És monda néki Bálák: Mit szóla az Úr?

And when he came to him, behold, he stood by his burnt offering, and the princes of Moab with him. And Balak said unto him, What hath the LORD spoken?

Balaam s-a întors la el; şi iată că Balac stătea lângă arderea lui de tot, cu căpeteniile Moabului. Balac i-a zis: „Ce ţi-a spus Domnul?”

And he came to him, and behold, he was standing beside his burnt offering, and the princes of Moab with him. And Balak said to him, “What has the LORD spoken?”

Ő pedig példabeszédbe kezdett, és azt mondta: Kelj fel, Bálák, és halljad! Figyelj rám, Cippór fia!

Akkor elkezdé az ő példázó beszédét, és monda: Kelj fel Bálák, és halljad; figyelj reám Czippórnak fia!

And he took up his parable, and said, Rise up, Balak, and hear; hearken unto me, thou son of Zippor:

Balaam şi-a rostit prorocia şi a zis: „Scoală-te, Balac, şi ascultă! Ia aminte la mine, fiul lui Ţipor!

And Balaam took up his discourse and said, “Rise, Balak, and hear; give ear to me, O son of Zippor:

Isten nem ember, hogy hazudjék, és nem embernek fia, hogy megváltozzék. Mond-e ő valamit, hogy meg ne tenné? Ígér-e valamit, hogy ne teljesítené?

Nem ember az Isten, hogy hazudjék és nem embernek fia, hogy megváltozzék. Mond-é ő valamit, hogy meg ne tenné? Igér-é valamit, hogy azt ne teljesítené?

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Dumnezeu nu este un om ca să mintă, nici un fiu al omului, ca să-I pară rău. Ce a spus, oare nu va face? Ce a făgăduit, oare nu va împlini?

God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?

Íme, parancsot kaptam, hogy áldjak. Ha ő áld, én azt nem másíthatom meg.

Ímé [parancsolatot] vettem, hogy áldjak; ha ő áld, én azt meg nem fordíthatom.

Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.

Iată că am primit poruncă să binecuvântez. Da, El a binecuvântat, şi eu nu pot întoarce.

Behold, I received a command to bless: he has blessed, and I cannot revoke it.

Nem látott Jákóbban hamisságot, és nem látott Izráelben gonoszságot. Az ÚR, az ő Istene van ővele. Királynak szóló ujjongás hangzik benne.

Nem vett észre Jákóbban hamisságot, és nem látott gonoszságot Izráelben. Az Úr, az ő Istene van ő vele; és királynak szóló rivalgás hangzik ő benne.

He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them.

El nu vede nicio fărădelege în Iacov, nu vede nicio răutate în Israel. Domnul Dumnezeul lui este cu el, El este Împăratul lui, veselia lui.

He has not beheld misfortune in Jacob, nor has he seen trouble in Israel. The LORD their God is with them, and the shout of a king is among them.

Isten hozta ki őket Egyiptomból, ereje olyan, mint a vadbivalyé.

Isten hozta ki őket Égyiptomból, az ő ereje mint a vad bivalyé.

God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn.

Dumnezeu i-a scos din Egipt, Tăria Lui este pentru el ca a bivolului.

God brings them out of Egypt and is for them like the horns of the wild ox.

Mert nem fog a varázslás Jákóbon, sem az igézés Izráelen. Idejében megtudja Jákób és Izráel, hogy mit tesz Isten.

Mert nem fog varázslás Jákóbon, sem jövendőmondás Izráelen. Idején adatik tudtára Jákóbnak és Izráelnek: mit mívelt Isten!

Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!

Descântecul nu poate face nimic împotriva lui Iacov, nici vrăjitoria împotriva lui Israel; acum se poate spune despre Iacov şi Israel: Ce lucruri mari a făcut Dumnezeu!

For there is no enchantment against Jacob, no divination against Israel; now it shall be said of Jacob and Israel, ‘What has God wrought!’

Íme, ez a nép fölkel, mint nőstény oroszlán, és föltámad, mint hím oroszlán. Nem nyugszik, míg prédát nem eszik, és az elejtettek vérét nem issza.

Ímé e nép felkél mint nőstény oroszlán, és feltámad mint hím oroszlán; nem nyugszik, míg prédát nem eszik, és elejtettek vérét nem iszsza.

Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drink the blood of the slain.

Da, poporul acesta se scoală ca o leoaică şi se ridică întocmai ca un leu; nu se culcă până ce n-a mâncat prada şi n-a băut sângele celor ucişi.”

Behold, a people! As a lioness it rises up and as a lion it lifts itself; it does not lie down until it has devoured the prey and drunk the blood of the slain.”

Akkor azt mondta Bálák Bálámnak: Ám ne átkozd, de ne is áldjad őt.

Akkor monda Bálák Bálámnak: Se ne átkozzad, se ne áldjad őt.

And Balak said unto Balaam, Neither curse them at all, nor bless them at all.

Balac a zis lui Balaam: „Nu-l blestema, dar măcar nici nu-l binecuvânta!”

And Balak said to Balaam, “Do not curse them at all, and do not bless them at all.”

Bálám erre így felelt Báláknak: Hát nem így szóltam neked: Amit az ÚR mond nekem, azt teszem?

Felele pedig Bálám, és monda Báláknak: Avagy nem szólottam volt-é néked, mondván: Valamit mond nékem az Úr, azt mívelem?

But Balaam answered and said unto Balak, Told not I thee, saying, All that the LORD speaketh, that I must do?

Balaam a răspuns şi a zis lui Balac: „Nu ţi-am spus că voi face tot ce va spune Domnul?”

But Balaam answered Balak, “Did I not tell you, ‘All that the LORD says, that I must do’?”

Ekkor azt mondta Bálák Bálámnak: Jöjj, kérlek, elviszlek téged egy másik helyre, talán jónak látja Isten, hogy onnan megátkozd nekem e népet.

És monda Bálák Bálámnak: Jöjj, kérlek, elviszlek téged más helyre: talán tetszeni fog az Istennek, hogy megátkozzad onnét [e népet ]én érettem.

And Balak said unto Balaam, Come, I pray thee, I will bring thee unto another place; peradventure it will please God that thou mayest curse me them from thence.

Balac a zis lui Balaam: „Vino, te rog, te voi duce într-un alt loc; poate că Dumnezeu va găsi cu cale să-mi blestemi de acolo pe poporul acesta!”

And Balak said to Balaam, “Come now, I will take you to another place. Perhaps it will please God that you may curse them for me from there.”

Elvitte tehát Bálák Bálámot a Peór csúcsára, amely a puszta felé néz.

Elvivé azért Bálák Bálámot a Peór tetejére, a mely a puszta felé néz.

And Balak brought Balaam unto the top of Peor, that looketh toward Jeshimon.

Balac a dus pe Balaam pe vârful muntelui Peor, care este cu faţa spre pustiu.

So Balak took Balaam to the top of Peor, which overlooks the desert.

Úgy cselekedék azért Bálák, a mint mondotta volt Bálám, és áldozék minden oltáron egy-egy tulkot és egy-egy kost.

And Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered a bullock and a ram on every altar.
