Amikor Izráel Sittímben tartózkodott, a nép paráználkodni kezdett Móáb leányaival,

Mikor pedig Sittimben lakozik vala Izráel, kezde a nép paráználkodni Moáb leányaival.

And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab.

Israel locuia în Sitim; şi poporul a început să se dea la curvie cu fetele lui Moab.

While Israel lived in Shittim, the people began to whore with the daughters of Moab.

mert ők meghívták a népet isteneik áldozatára. A nép ott evett, és imádta az ő isteneiket.

Mert hívogaták a népet az ő isteneik áldozataira; és evék a nép, és imádá azoknak isteneit.

And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods.

Ele au poftit poporul la jertfele dumnezeilor lor; şi poporul a mâncat şi s-a închinat până la pământ înaintea dumnezeilor lor.

These invited the people to the sacrifices of their gods, and the people ate and bowed down to their gods.

Odaszegődött Izráel BaalPeórhoz, az ÚR haragja pedig fölgerjedt Izráel ellen.

És odaszegődék Izráel Bál-Peórhoz; az Úr haragja pedig felgerjede Izráel ellen.

And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel.

Israel s-a alipit de Baal-Peor, şi Domnul S-a aprins de mânie împotriva lui Israel.

So Israel yoked himself to Baal of Peor. And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel.

Azt mondta az ÚR Mózesnek: Fogasd el e nép minden főemberét, és akasztasd föl őket az ÚR előtt fényes nappal, hogy elforduljon Izráelről az ÚR fölgerjedt haragja.

És monda az Úr Mózesnek: Vedd elő e népnek minden főemberét, és akasztasd fel őket az Úrnak fényes nappal; hogy elforduljon az Úr haragjának gerjedezése Izráeltől.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.

Domnul a zis lui Moise: „Strânge pe toate căpeteniile poporului şi spânzură pe cei vinovaţi înaintea Domnului în faţa soarelui, pentru ca să se întoarcă de la Israel mânia aprinsă a Domnului.”

And the LORD said to Moses, “Take all the chiefs of the people and hang them in the sun before the LORD, that the fierce anger of the LORD may turn away from Israel.”

Mózes tehát így szólt Izráel bíráihoz: Mindenki ölje meg a maga emberei közül azokat, akik odaszegődtek Baal-Peórhoz.

Monda azért Mózes Izráel bíráinak: Kiki ölje meg az ő embereit, a kik odaszegődtek Bál-Peórhoz.

And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baalpeor.

Moise a zis judecătorilor lui Israel: „Fiecare din voi să ucidă pe aceia dintre ai lui care s-au alipit de Baal-Peor.”

And Moses said to the judges of Israel, “Each of you kill those of his men who have yoked themselves to Baal of Peor.”

Íme, épp akkor jött valaki Izráel fiai közül, és egy midjáni nőt hozott testvérei közé Mózes szeme láttára és Izráel fiai egész gyülekezetének szeme láttára. Azok pedig sírtak a gyülekezet sátrának bejáratánál.

És ímé eljöve valaki Izráel fiai közül, és hoza az ő atyjafiai felé egy midiánbeli asszonyt, Mózes szeme láttára, és Izráel fiai egész gyülekezetének láttára; ők pedig sírnak vala a gyülekezet sátorának nyilásánál.

And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

Şi iată că un bărbat dintre copiii lui Israel a venit şi a adus la fraţii lui pe o madianită, sub ochii lui Moise şi sub ochii întregii adunări a copiilor lui Israel, pe când plângeau la uşa Cortului întâlnirii.

And behold, one of the people of Israel came and brought a Midianite woman to his family, in the sight of Moses and in the sight of the whole congregation of the people of Israel, while they were weeping in the entrance of the tent of meeting.

Amikor meglátta ezt Fineás, Eleázár fia, Áron pap unokája, kilépett a gyülekezet közül, és kezébe vette dárdáját.

És mikor látta vala Fineás, Eleázár fia, Áron papnak unokája, felkele a gyülekezet közül, és dárdáját vevé kezébe.

And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;

La vederea acestui lucru, Fineas, fiul lui Eleazar, fiul preotului Aaron, s-a sculat din mijlocul adunării şi a luat o suliţă în mână.

When Phinehas the son of Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose and left the congregation and took a spear in his hand

Bement az izráeli férfi után a sátorba, és hason szúrta mindkettőjüket, mind az izráeli férfit, mind az asszonyt. És megszűnt a csapás Izráel fiai között.

És beméne az izráelita férfi után a sátorba, és általdöfé mindkettőjöket, mind az izráelita férfit, mind az asszonyt hason. És megszünék a csapás Izráel fiai között.

And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.

S-a luat după omul acela din Israel până în cortul lui, i-a străpuns prin pântece pe amândoi: atât pe bărbatul acela din Israel cât şi pe femeia aceea. Şi a încetat astfel urgia care izbucnise printre copiii lui Israel.

and went after the man of Israel into the chamber and pierced both of them, the man of Israel and the woman through her belly. Thus the plague on the people of Israel was stopped.

De meghaltak a csapás miatt huszonnégyezren.

De meghaltak vala a csapás miatt huszonnégy ezeren.

And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand.

Douăzeci şi patru de mii au murit loviţi de urgia aceea.

Nevertheless, those who died by the plague were twenty-four thousand.

Akkor így szólt az ÚR Mózeshez:

Akkor szóla az Úr Mózesnek, mondván:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Domnul a vorbit lui Moise şi a zis:

And the LORD said to Moses,

Fineás, Eleázár fia, Áron pap unokája elfordította haragomat Izráel fiairól, mivel haragom szerint bánt velük. Ezért nem pusztítom ki felindulásomban Izráel fiait.

Fineás, Eleázár fia, Áron pap unokája, elfordította az én haragomat Izráel fiaitól, mivelhogy az én bosszúmat megállotta ő közöttök; ezért nem pusztítom ki bosszúmban Izráel fiait.

Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.

„Fineas, fiul lui Eleazar, fiul preotului Aaron, a abătut mânia Mea de la copiii lui Israel prin râvna pe care a avut-o pentru Mine în mijlocul lor; şi n-am nimicit, în mânia Mea, pe copiii lui Israel.

“Phinehas the son of Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, has turned back my wrath from the people of Israel, in that he was jealous with my jealousy among them, so that I did not consume the people of Israel in my jealousy.

Mondd meg tehát: Íme, szövetségemet, a békesség szövetségét adom neki.

Mondd azért: Ímé én az én szövetségemet, a békesség [szövetségét] adom ő néki.

Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace:

De aceea să spui că închei cu el un legământ de pace.

Therefore say, ‘Behold, I give to him my covenant of peace,

Övé és utódaié lesz a papság szövetsége örökre, mivel bosszút állt Istenéért, és engesztelést végzett Izráel fiaiért.

És lészen ő nála és az ő magvánál ő utána az örökkévaló papságnak szövetsége; mivelhogy bosszút állott az ő Istenéért, és engesztelést végze Izráel fiaiért.

And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel.

Acesta va fi pentru el şi pentru sămânţa lui după el legământul unei preoţii veşnice, pentru că a fost plin de râvnă pentru Dumnezeul lui şi a făcut ispăşire pentru copiii lui Israel.”

and it shall be to him and to his descendants after him the covenant of a perpetual priesthood, because he was jealous for his God and made atonement for the people of Israel.’”

A megölt izráeli férfinak a neve pedig, akit a midjáni asszonnyal együtt öltek meg, Zimri volt, Szálu fia, a Simeon nemzetség háza népének főembere.

A megöletett izráelita férfinak neve pedig, a ki a midiánbeli asszonynyal együtt öletett meg, Zimri, a Szálu fia vala, a Simeon- nemzetség háznépének fejedelme.

Now the name of the Israelite that was slain, even that was slain with the Midianitish woman, was Zimri, the son of Salu, a prince of a chief house among the Simeonites.

Bărbatul acela din Israel care a fost ucis împreună cu madianita, se numea Zimri, fiul lui Salu; el era căpetenia unei case părinteşti a simeoniţilor.

The name of the slain man of Israel, who was killed with the Midianite woman, was Zimri the son of Salu, chief of a father’s house belonging to the Simeonites.

A megölt midjáni asszony neve pedig Kozbi volt, Cúr leánya, akinek az atyja Midján egyik nemzetségének a feje volt.

A megöletett midiánbeli asszony neve pedig Kozbi, Czúr leánya, a ki a Midiániták között az ő atyja háza nemzetségeinek fejedelme vala.

And the name of the Midianitish woman that was slain was Cozbi, the daughter of Zur; he was head over a people, and of a chief house in Midian.

Femeia care a fost ucisă se numea Cozbi, fata lui Ţur, căpetenia seminţiilor ieşite dintr-o casă părintească din Madian.

And the name of the Midianite woman who was killed was Cozbi the daughter of Zur, who was the tribal head of a father’s house in Midian.

Azután így szólt az ÚR Mózeshez:

És szóla az Úr Mózesnek, mondván:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Domnul a vorbit lui Moise şi a zis:

And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

Támadjátok meg a midjániakat, és verjétek le őket,

Támadjátok meg a Midiánitákat, és verjétek meg őket,

Vex the Midianites, and smite them:

„Priviţi pe madianiţi ca vrăjmaşi şi ucideţi-i;

“Harass the Midianites and strike them down,

mert megtámadtak titeket az ő cselszövéseikkel, amelyeket Peór és az ő húguk, Kozbi, az egyik midjáni fejedelem leánya révén szőttek ellenetek, akit megöltek a Peór miatt támadt csapás napján.

Mert ők megtámadtak titeket az ő cselszövéseikkel, a melyeket Peórért és az ő hugokért Kozbiért, a midián fejedelem leányáért szőttek ellenetek, a ki megöletett a Peór miatt való csapásnak napján.

For they vex you with their wiles, wherewith they have beguiled you in the matter of Peor, and in the matter of Cozbi, the daughter of a prince of Midian, their sister, which was slain in the day of the plague for Peor's sake.

căci şi ei vi s-au arătat vrăjmaşi, amăgindu-vă prin vicleşugurile lor, în fapta lui Peor şi în fapta Cozbiei, fata unei căpetenii a lui Madian, sora lor, ucisă în ziua urgiei care a avut loc cu prilejul faptei lui Peor.”

for they have harassed you with their wiles, with which they beguiled you in the matter of Peor, and in the matter of Cozbi, the daughter of the chief of Midian, their sister, who was killed on the day of the plague on account of Peor.”
