Amikor meghallotta a kánaáni Arád királya, aki dél felől lakott, hogy odaért Izráel az atárimi úton, megtámadta őket, és foglyokat ejtett közülük.

Mikor pedig meghallotta a Kananeus, Arad királya, a ki lakozik vala dél felől, hogy jön Izráel a kémeknek útán: megütközék Izráellel, és foglyokat ejte közülök.

And when king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south, heard tell that Israel came by the way of the spies; then he fought against Israel, and took some of them prisoners.

Împăratul Aradului, un canaanit, care locuia la miazăzi, a auzit că Israel vine pe drumul Atarim. El s-a luptat împotriva lui Israel şi a luat mai mulţi prinşi de război.

When the Canaanite, the king of Arad, who lived in the Negeb, heard that Israel was coming by the way of Atharim, he fought against Israel, and took some of them captive.

Ekkor fogadalmat tett Izráel az ÚRnak, és azt mondta: Ha egyszer kezembe adod e népet, mindenestül eltörlöm városait.

Fogadást tőn azért Izráel az Úrnak, és monda: Ha valóban kezembe adod e népet, eltörlöm az ő városait.

And Israel vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.

Atunci Israel a făcut Domnului o juruinţă şi a zis: „Dacă vei da pe poporul acesta în mâinile mele, îi voi nimici cu desăvârşire cetăţile.”

And Israel vowed a vow to the LORD and said, “If you will indeed give this people into my hand, then I will devote their cities to destruction.”

Az ÚR meghallgatta Izráel szavát, kezébe adta a kánaániakat, és el is törölte őket és városaikat. Ezért nevezte el azt a helyet Hormának.

És meghallgatá az Úr Izráelnek szavát, és kézbe adá a Kananeust, és eltörlé őket, és azoknak városait. És nevezé azt a helyet Hormának.

And the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and he called the name of the place Hormah.

Domnul a auzit glasul lui Israel şi a dat pe canaaniţi în mâinile lui. Israeliţii i-au nimicit cu desăvârşire, pe ei şi cetăţile lor; şi locul acela l-au numit Horma.

And the LORD heeded the voice of Israel and gave over the Canaanites, and they devoted them and their cities to destruction. So the name of the place was called Hormah.

Majd elindultak a Hór-hegytől a Vöröstengerhez vivő úton, hogy megkerüljék Edóm földjét. De a nép lelke megkeseredett útközben,

És elindulának a Hór hegyétől a veres tengerhez vivő úton, hogy megkerüljék Edom földét. És a népnek lelke megkeseredék útközben.

And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way.

Au plecat de la muntele Hor pe drumul care duce spre Marea Roşie, ca să ocolească ţara Edomului. Poporul şi-a pierdut răbdarea pe drum

From Mount Hor they set out by the way to the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom. And the people became impatient on the way.

és így beszéltek Isten és Mózes ellen: Miért hoztatok ki minket Egyiptomból? Hogy meghaljunk e pusztában? Mert nincs kenyér, víz sincs, és e hitvány eledelt utálja a lelkünk.

És szóla a nép Isten ellen és Mózes ellen: Miért hoztatok fel minket Égyiptomból, hogy meghaljunk e pusztában? Mert nincsen kenyér, víz sincsen, és e hitvány eledelt útálja a mi lelkünk.

And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.

şi a vorbit împotriva lui Dumnezeu şi împotriva lui Moise: „Pentru ce ne-aţi scos din Egipt ca să murim în pustiu? Căci nu este nici pâine, nici apă şi ni s-a scârbit sufletul de această hrană proastă.”

And the people spoke against God and against Moses, “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and we loathe this worthless food.”

Ezért az ÚR mérges kígyókat bocsátott a népre, és azok megmardosták őket, ezért sokan meghaltak Izráel népéből.

Bocsáta azért az Úr a népre tüzes kígyókat, és megmardosák a népet, és sokan meghalának Izráel népéből.

And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.

Atunci Domnul a trimis împotriva poporului nişte şerpi înfocaţi, care au muşcat poporul, aşa încât au murit mulţi oameni în Israel.

Then the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people, so that many people of Israel died.

Akkor Mózeshez ment a nép, és azt mondták: Vétkeztünk, mert az ÚR ellen és teellened szóltunk. Imádkozzál az ÚRhoz, hogy vigye el rólunk a kígyókat. És imádkozott Mózes a népért.

Akkor méne a nép Mózeshez, és mondának: Vétkeztünk, mert szólottunk az Úr ellen és te ellened; imádkozzál az Úrhoz, hogy vigye el rólunk a kígyókat. És imádkozék Mózes a népért.

Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.

Poporul a venit la Moise şi a zis: „Am păcătuit, căci am vorbit împotriva Domnului şi împotriva ta. Roagă-te Domnului, ca să depărteze de la noi aceşti şerpi.” Moise s-a rugat pentru popor.

And the people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD and against you. Pray to the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.

Majd azt mondta az ÚR Mózesnek: Készíts kígyót, és tűzd föl egy póznára. Ha valaki megmaratik, és föltekint arra, életben marad.

És monda az Úr Mózesnek: Csinálj magadnak tüzes kígyót, és tűzd fel azt póznára: és ha valaki megmarattatik, és feltekint arra, életben maradjon.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.

Domnul a zis lui Moise: „Fă-ţi un şarpe înfocat şi spânzură-l de o prăjină; oricine este muşcat şi va privi spre el va trăi.”

And the LORD said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent and set it on a pole, and everyone who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live.”

Mózes tehát csinált egy rézkígyót, és föltűzte egy póznára. És az történt, hogy ha megmart valakit a kígyó, és az föltekintett a rézkígyóra, életben maradt.

Csinála azért Mózes rézkígyót, és feltűzé azt póznára. És lőn, hogy ha a kígyó valakit megmar vala, és az feltekinte a rézkígyóra, életben marada.

And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

Moise a făcut un şarpe de aramă şi l-a pus într-o prăjină; şi oricine era muşcat de un şarpe şi privea spre şarpele de aramă, trăia.

So Moses made a bronze serpent and set it on a pole. And if a serpent bit anyone, he would look at the bronze serpent and live.

Azután elindultak Izráel fiai, és tábort ütöttek Óbótban.

Azután elindulának Izráel fiai, és tábort ütének Obóthban.

And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in Oboth.

Copiii lui Israel au plecat şi au tăbărât la Obot.

And the people of Israel set out and camped in Oboth.

Óbótból is elindultak, és tábort ütöttek Ijjé-Abárimban, abban a pusztában, amely Móáb előtt van kelet felől.

Obóthból is elindulának, és tábort ütének Hije-Abarimban, abban a pusztában, a mely Moáb előtt vala napkelet felől.

And they journeyed from Oboth, and pitched at Ijeabarim, in the wilderness which is before Moab, toward the sunrising.

Au plecat din Obot şi au tăbărât la Iie-Abarim, în pustiul din faţa Moabului, spre răsăritul soarelui.

And they set out from Oboth and camped at Iye-abarim, in the wilderness that is opposite Moab, toward the sunrise.

Onnan elindultak, és tábort ütöttek a Zered-patak völgyében.

Onnét elindulának, és tábort ütének Zéred völgyében.

From thence they removed, and pitched in the valley of Zared.

De acolo au plecat şi au tăbărât în valea Zered.

From there they set out and camped in the Valley of Zered.

Majd onnan is továbbindultak, és tábort ütöttek az emóriak határában, az Arnón túlsó partján, a pusztában. Mert az Arnón Móáb határa Móáb és az emóriak között.

Onnét elindulának, és tábort ütének az Arnon [vizén] túl, a mely van a pusztában, és kijő az Emoreus határából. Mert az Arnon Moábnak határa Moáb között és Emoreus között.

From thence they removed, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, which is in the wilderness that cometh out of the coasts of the Amorites: for Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.

De acolo au plecat şi au tăbărât dincolo de Arnon, care curge prin pustiu, ieşind din ţinutul amoriţilor; căci Arnonul face hotarul Moabului, între Moab şi amoriţi.

From there they set out and camped on the other side of the Arnon, which is in the wilderness that extends from the border of the Amorites, for the Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.

Ezért van szó az ÚR hadainak könyvében Váhébról Szúfában és völgyekről az Arnónnál

Azért van szó az Úr hadainak könyvében: Vahébről Szúfában, és a patakokról Arnonnál,

Wherefore it is said in the book of the wars of the LORD, What he did in the Red sea, and in the brooks of Arnon,

De aceea se zice în cartea războaielor Domnului: „Vaheb în Sufa, şuvoaiele Arnonului,

Therefore it is said in the Book of the Wars of the LORD, “Waheb in Suphah, and the valleys of the Arnon,

és a völgyek lejtőiről, amelyek Ár városa felé kanyarodnak, és elérik Móáb határát.

És a patakok folyásáról, a mely Ar város felé hajol és Moáb határára dűl.

And at the stream of the brooks that goeth down to the dwelling of Ar, and lieth upon the border of Moab.

şi scurgerile şuvoaielor, care se întind înspre Ar şi se ating cu hotarul lui Moab.”

and the slope of the valleys that extends to the seat of Ar, and leans to the border of Moab.”

Onnan Beérbe mentek. Ez az a kút, amelynél azt mondta az ÚR Mózesnek: Gyűjtsd össze a népet, és adok nekik vizet.

És onnét Béérbe [menének]. Ez az a kút, a melynél mondotta vala az Úr Mózesnek: Gyűjtsd össze a népet, és adok nékik vizet.

And from thence they went to Beer: that is the well whereof the LORD spake unto Moses, Gather the people together, and I will give them water.

De acolo s-au dus la Beer. La această fântână, Domnul a zis lui Moise: „Strânge poporul şi le voi da apă.”

And from there they continued to Beer; that is the well of which the LORD said to Moses, “Gather the people together, so that I may give them water.”

Akkor énekelte Izráel ezt az éneket: Buzogj föl, ó, kút! Énekeljetek!

Akkor éneklé az Izráel ez éneket: Jőjj fel óh kút! énekeljetek néki!

Then Israel sang this song, Spring up, O well; sing ye unto it:

Atunci a cântat Israel cântarea aceasta: „Ţâşneşte, fântână! Cântaţi în cinstea ei!

Then Israel sang this song: “Spring up, O well!—Sing to it!—

Kút, amelyet fejedelmek ástak, a nép vezérei vájtak kormánypálcáikkal, vezérbotjaikkal. Majd a pusztából Mattánába mentek,

Kút, a melyet fejedelmek ástak; a nép előkelői vájtak, kormánypálczával, vezérbotjaikkal. És a pusztából Mathanába [menének].

The princes digged the well, the nobles of the people digged it, by the direction of the lawgiver, with their staves. And from the wilderness they went to Mattanah:

Fântâna pe care au săpat-o căpeteniile, pe care au săpat-o mai marii poporului, cu toiagul de cârmuire, cu toiegele lor!” Din pustiul acesta s-au dus la Matana;

the well that the princes made, that the nobles of the people dug, with the scepter and with their staffs.” And from the wilderness they went on to Mattanah,

és Mattánából Nahaliélba, és Nahaliélból Bámótba.

And from Mattanah to Nahaliel: and from Nahaliel to Bamoth:

and from Mattanah to Nahaliel, and from Nahaliel to Bamoth,

Bámótból Gajba, abba a völgybe mentek, amely Móáb mezején van, a Piszgá csúcsánál, amely a sivatagra néz.

Bámóthból pedig abba a völgybe, a mely Moáb mezején van, [onnan] a Piszga tetejére, a mely a sivatagra néz.

And from Bamoth in the valley, that is in the country of Moab, to the top of Pisgah, which looketh toward Jeshimon.

din Bamot, la valea din câmpia Moabului, în vârful muntelui Pisga, care caută spre pustiu.

and from Bamoth to the valley lying in the region of Moab by the top of Pisgah that looks down on the desert.

Ekkor Izráel követeket küldött Szíhónhoz, az emóriak királyához ezzel az üzenettel:

És külde Izráel követeket Szíhonhoz, az Emoreusok királyához, mondván:

And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, saying,

Israel a trimis soli la Sihon, împăratul amoriţilor, ca să-i spună:

Then Israel sent messengers to Sihon king of the Amorites, saying,

Hadd menjek át az országodon! Nem térünk le sem szántóföldre, sem szőlőbe, kútvizet sem iszunk. Az országúton megyünk, míg átvonulunk országodon.

Hadd mehessek át a te földeden! Nem hajlunk mezőre, sem szőlőre, kútvizet sem iszunk; az országúton megyünk, míg átmegyünk a te határodon.

Let me pass through thy land: we will not turn into the fields, or into the vineyards; we will not drink of the waters of the well: but we will go along by the king's high way, until we be past thy borders.

„Lasă-mă să trec prin ţara ta; nu vom intra nici în ogoare, nici în vii şi nu vom bea apă din fântâni; vom ţine drumul împărătesc, până vom trece de ţinutul tău.”

“Let me pass through your land. We will not turn aside into field or vineyard. We will not drink the water of a well. We will go by the King’s Highway until we have passed through your territory.”

De nem engedte meg Szíhón Izráelnek, hogy átvonuljon területén, sőt egybegyűjtötte minden népét, és kivonult Izráel ellen a pusztába, és Jahacba érve megütközött Izráellel.

De nem engedé Szíhon Izráelnek, hogy átmenjen az ő határán, sőt egybegyűjté Szíhon minden népét, és kiméne Izráel ellen a pusztába, és jöve Jaháczba; és megütközék Izráellel.

And Sihon would not suffer Israel to pass through his border: but Sihon gathered all his people together, and went out against Israel into the wilderness: and he came to Jahaz, and fought against Israel.

Sihon n-a îngăduit lui Israel să treacă prin ţinutul lui. Sihon a strâns tot poporul şi a ieşit înaintea lui Israel, în pustiu. A venit la Iahaţ şi s-a luptat împotriva lui Israel.

But Sihon would not allow Israel to pass through his territory. He gathered all his people together and went out against Israel to the wilderness and came to Jahaz and fought against Israel.

De Izráel kardélre hányta őket, és elfoglalta földjét Arnóntól Jabbókig, az ammóni határig. Mert meg volt erősítve Ammón fiainak határa.

És megveré őt Izráel fegyvernek élivel, és elfoglalá annak földét Arnontól Jabbókig, az Ammon fiaiig; mert erős vala az Ammon fiainak határa.

And Israel smote him with the edge of the sword, and possessed his land from Arnon unto Jabbok, even unto the children of Ammon: for the border of the children of Ammon was strong.

Israel l-a bătut cu ascuţişul sabiei şi i-a cucerit ţara de la Arnon până la Iaboc, până la hotarul copiilor lui Amon; căci hotarul copiilor lui Amon era întărit.

And Israel defeated him with the edge of the sword and took possession of his land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, as far as to the Ammonites, for the border of the Ammonites was strong.

Elfoglalta Izráel mindazokat a városokat, és megtelepedett az emóriak városaiban, Hesbónban és a hozzá tartozó falvakban.

És elfoglalá Izráel mind e városokat, és megtelepedék Izráel az Emoreusok minden városában, Hesbonban és annak minden városában;

And Israel took all these cities: and Israel dwelt in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all the villages thereof.

Israel a luat toate cetăţile acelea şi s-a aşezat în toate cetăţile amoriţilor, în Hesbon şi în toate satele de prin împrejurimi.

And Israel took all these cities, and Israel settled in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all its villages.

Mert Hesbón Szíhónnak, az emóriak királyának városa volt, aki hadat viselt Móáb előző királya ellen, és elvett minden földet az ő kezéből az Arnónig.

Mert Hesbon Szíhonnak az Emoreusok királyának városa vala, ki is hadakozott vala Moábnak előbbi királyával, és elvett vala minden földet annak kezéből Arnonig.

For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even unto Arnon.

Căci Hesbonul era cetatea lui Sihon, împăratul amoriţilor. El pornise cu război împotriva împăratului dinainte al Moabului şi-i luase toată ţara până la Arnon.

For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab and taken all his land out of his hand, as far as the Arnon.

Ezért mondják a példabeszédben: Jöjjetek Hesbónba! Épüljön és erősödjék Szíhón városa!

Azért mondják a példabeszédmondók: Jőjjetek Hesbonba! Építtessék és erősíttessék Szíhon városa!

Wherefore they that speak in proverbs say, Come into Heshbon, let the city of Sihon be built and prepared:

De aceea zic poeţii: „Veniţi la Hesbon! Să se zidească din nou şi să se întărească cetatea lui Sihon.

Therefore the ballad singers say, “Come to Heshbon, let it be built; let the city of Sihon be established.

Mert tűz csapott ki Hesbónból, láng Szíhón városából. Megemésztette Árt, Móáb városát, az Arnón menti magaslatok urait.

Mert tűz jött ki Hesbonból, láng Szíhon városából; megemésztette Art, Moábnak [városát], Arnon magaslatainak urait.

For there is a fire gone out of Heshbon, a flame from the city of Sihon: it hath consumed Ar of Moab, and the lords of the high places of Arnon.

Căci a ieşit un foc din Hesbon, o flacără din cetatea lui Sihon, şi a mistuit pe Ar-Moab, pe locuitorii înălţimilor Arnonului.

For fire came out from Heshbon, flame from the city of Sihon. It devoured Ar of Moab, and swallowed the heights of the Arnon.

Jaj neked, Móáb! Elvesztél, Kemós népe! Fiai földönfutókká lettek, leányai pedig Szíhónnak, az emóri királynak a foglyaivá.

Jaj néked Moáb! Elvesztél Kámosnak népe! Futásra adta ő fiait, leányait fogságra Szíhonnak, az emoreus királynak.

Woe to thee, Moab! thou art undone, O people of Chemosh: he hath given his sons that escaped, and his daughters, into captivity unto Sihon king of the Amorites.

Vai de tine, Moab! Eşti pierdut, poporul lui Chemoş! El a făcut pe fiii lui fugari, şi pe fetele lui le-a dat roabe Lui Sihon, împăratul amoriţilor.

Woe to you, O Moab! You are undone, O people of Chemosh! He has made his sons fugitives, and his daughters captives, to an Amorite king, Sihon.

Lövöldöztünk rájuk, s elveszett minden Hesbóntól Díbónig, és elpusztítottuk Nófahig, egész Médebáig.

De mi lövöldöztük őket, elveszett Hesbon Dibonig, és elpusztítottuk Nofáig, a mely Medebáig ér.

We have shot at them; Heshbon is perished even unto Dibon, and we have laid them waste even unto Nophah, which reacheth unto Medeba.

Noi am aruncat cu săgeţile asupra lor: din Hesbon până la Dibon totul este nimicit; am pustiit până la Nofah, care se întindea până la Medeba.”

So we overthrew them; Heshbon, as far as Dibon, perished; and we laid waste as far as Nophah; fire spread as far as Medeba.”

Letelepedett tehát Izráel az emóriak földjén.

Megtelepedék azért Izráel az Emoreusok földén.

Thus Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites.

Israel s-a aşezat astfel în ţara amoriţilor.

Thus Israel lived in the land of the Amorites.

Mózes kikémleltette Jazért, bevették városait, és kiűzte az ott levő emóriakat.

És elkülde Mózes, hogy megkémleljék Jázert, és bevevék annak városait, és kiűzé az Emoreust, a ki ott vala.

And Moses sent to spy out Jaazer, and they took the villages thereof, and drove out the Amorites that were there.

Moise a trimis să iscodească Iaezerul. Au luat satele care ţineau de el şi au izgonit pe amoriţii care erau în ele.

And Moses sent to spy out Jazer, and they captured its villages and dispossessed the Amorites who were there.

Majd megfordultak, és fölmentek a Básánba vivő úton. Kijött ellenük Óg, Básán királya, ő és egész népe, hogy megütközzenek Edreiben.

Majd megfordulának, és felmenének a Básánba vivő úton. És kijöve Og, Básán királya ő ellenök, ő és egész népe, hogy megütközzenek Hedreiben.

And they turned and went up by the way of Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan went out against them, he, and all his people, to the battle at Edrei.

Au schimbat apoi drumul şi s-au suit pe drumul care duce la Basan. Og, împăratul Basanului, le-a ieşit înainte, cu tot poporul lui, ca să lupte împotriva lor la Edrei.

Then they turned and went up by the way to Bashan. And Og the king of Bashan came out against them, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.

Ekkor azt mondta az ÚR Mózesnek: Ne félj tőle, mert kezedbe adtam őt, egész népét és földjét. Úgy cselekedjél vele, ahogy Szíhónnal, az emóriak királyával cselekedtél, aki Hesbónban lakott.

Akkor monda az Úr Mózesnek: Ne félj tőle, mert a te kezedbe adtam őt, és egész népét, és az ő földét. És úgy cselekedjél vele, a miképen cselekedtél Szíhonnal az Emoreusok királyával, a ki lakik vala Hesbonban.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Fear him not: for I have delivered him into thy hand, and all his people, and his land; and thou shalt do to him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.

Domnul a zis lui Moise: „Nu te teme de el; căci îl dau în mâinile tale, pe el şi tot poporul lui, şi toată ţara lui; să-i faci cum ai făcut lui Sihon, împăratul amoriţilor, care locuia la Hesbon.”

But the LORD said to Moses, “Do not fear him, for I have given him into your hand, and all his people, and his land. And you shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon.”

És úgy megverték őt, fiait és egész népét, hogy egy sem maradt belőlük, azután elfoglalták az országot.

Megverék azért őt és az ő fiait és egész népét annyira, hogy egy sem marada belőle; és elfoglalák az ő földét.

So they smote him, and his sons, and all his people, until there was none left him alive: and they possessed his land.

Şi ei l-au bătut, pe el şi pe fiii lui, şi tot poporul lui, de n-au lăsat să scape niciunul măcar, şi au pus mâna pe ţara lui.

So they defeated him and his sons and all his people, until he had no survivor left. And they possessed his land.
