Azután így szólt az ÚR Mózeshez Móáb mezőségén, a Jordán mellett, Jerikóval szemben:

És szóla az Úr Mózesnek a Moáb mezőségén a Jordán mellett, Jérikhó ellenében, mondván:

And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,

Domnul a vorbit lui Moise, în câmpia Moabului, lângă Iordan, în faţa Ierihonului. Şi a zis:

The LORD spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,

Parancsold meg Izráel fiainak, hogy örökségül kapott birtokukból Lévi fiainak adjanak át városokat lakóhelyül. A városok körül pedig adjatok legelőt is a lévitáknak,

Parancsold meg Izráel fiainak, hogy adjanak a lévitáknak az ő örökségi birtokukból lakásra való városokat; a városokhoz pedig adjatok azok környékén legelőt is a lévitáknak;

Command the children of Israel, that they give unto the Levites of the inheritance of their possession cities to dwell in; and ye shall give also unto the Levites suburbs for the cities round about them.

„Porunceşte copiilor lui Israel să dea leviţilor, din moştenirea pe care o vor avea, nişte cetăţi în care să poată locui. Să mai daţi leviţilor şi un loc gol împrejurul acestor cetăţi.

“Command the people of Israel to give to the Levites some of the inheritance of their possession as cities for them to dwell in. And you shall give to the Levites pasturelands around the cities.

hogy azokban a városokban lakjanak, a legelők pedig marháiknak, jószágaiknak és mindenféle állatuknak a tartására szolgáljanak.

Hogy legyenek nékik a városok lakóhelyekül, a legelők pedig legyenek az ő barmaiknak, jószágaiknak és mindenféle állatjoknak.

And the cities shall they have to dwell in; and the suburbs of them shall be for their cattle, and for their goods, and for all their beasts.

Cetăţile să fie ale lor, ca să locuiască în ele; iar locurile goale să fie pentru vitele lor, pentru averile lor şi pentru toate dobitoacele lor.

The cities shall be theirs to dwell in, and their pasturelands shall be for their cattle and for their livestock and for all their beasts.

A városoknak, amelyeket a lévitáknak adtok, a város falától kifelé ezerkönyöknyire terjedjenek a legelői körös-körül.

És azoknak a városoknak legelői, a melyeket a lévitáknak adtok, a város falától és azon kivül, ezer singnyire legyenek köröskörül.

And the suburbs of the cities, which ye shall give unto the Levites, shall reach from the wall of the city and outward a thousand cubits round about.

Locurile goale din jurul cetăţilor pe care le veţi da leviţilor să aibă, începând de la zidul cetăţii în afară, o mie de coţi de jur împrejur.

The pasturelands of the cities, which you shall give to the Levites, shall reach from the wall of the city outward a thousand cubits all around.

Mérjetek azért a városon kívül, kelet felől kétezer könyököt, dél felől is kétezer, nyugat felől kétezer és észak felől kétezer könyököt úgy, hogy a város középen legyen. Ez legyen számukra a városok legelője.

Mérjetek azért a városon kivül, napkelet felől két ezer singet, dél felől is kétezer singet, napnyugot felől kétezer singet, és észak felől kétezer singet; és a város legyen középben. Ez legyen számukra a városok legelője.

And ye shall measure from without the city on the east side two thousand cubits, and on the south side two thousand cubits, and on the west side two thousand cubits, and on the north side two thousand cubits; and the city shall be in the midst: this shall be to them the suburbs of the cities.

Să măsuraţi afară din cetate, două mii de coţi în partea de răsărit, două mii de coţi în parte de miazăzi, două mii de coţi în partea de apus şi două mii de coţi în partea de miazănoapte, aşa încât cetatea să fie la mijloc. Acestea să fie locurile goale din jurul cetăţilor lor.

And you shall measure, outside the city, on the east side two thousand cubits, and on the south side two thousand cubits, and on the west side two thousand cubits, and on the north side two thousand cubits, the city being in the middle. This shall belong to them as pastureland for their cities.

A városok közül pedig, amelyeket a lévitáknak adtok, hat legyen menedékváros, arra rendelve, hogy oda menekülhessen, aki embert ölt. Ezeken kívül negyvenkét várost adjatok.

A városok közül pedig, a melyeket a lévitáknak adtok, hat legyen menedékváros, a melyeket azért adjatok, hogy oda szaladjon a gyilkos; és azokon kivül adjatok negyvenkét várost.

And among the cities which ye shall give unto the Levites there shall be six cities for refuge, which ye shall appoint for the manslayer, that he may flee thither: and to them ye shall add forty and two cities.

Dintre cetăţile pe care le veţi da leviţilor, şase să fie cetăţi de scăpare unde va putea să fugă ucigaşul, şi afară de acestea, să le mai daţi alte patruzeci şi două de cetăţi.

“The cities that you give to the Levites shall be the six cities of refuge, where you shall permit the manslayer to flee, and in addition to them you shall give forty-two cities.

Összesen tehát negyvennyolc várost kell adnotok a lévitáknak legelőikkel együtt.

Mind a városok, a melyeket adnotok kell a lévitáknak, negyvennyolc város, azoknak legelőivel egyben.

So all the cities which ye shall give to the Levites shall be forty and eight cities: them shall ye give with their suburbs.

Toate cetăţile pe care le veţi da leviţilor să fie patruzeci şi opt de cetăţi, împreună cu locurile lor goale.

All the cities that you give to the Levites shall be forty-eight, with their pasturelands.

Úgy adjátok a városokat Izráel fiainak örökségéből, hogy attól, akinek több van, többet vegyetek, és attól, akinek kevesebb jutott, kevesebbet vegyetek el. Mindegyik törzs a neki jutó örökséghez mérten adjon városaiból a lévitáknak.

A mely városokat pedig Izráel fiainak örökségéből adtok, [azokhoz] attól, a kinek több van, többet vegyetek, és attól, a kinek kevesebb van, kevesebbet vegyetek; mindenik az ő örökségéhez képest, a melyet örökül kapott, adjon az ő városaiból a lévitáknak.

And the cities which ye shall give shall be of the possession of the children of Israel: from them that have many ye shall give many; but from them that have few ye shall give few: every one shall give of his cities unto the Levites according to his inheritance which he inheriteth.

Cetăţile pe care le veţi da din moşiile copiilor lui Israel să fie date mai multe de cei ce au mai multe, şi mai puţine de cei ce au mai puţine; fiecare să dea leviţilor din cetăţile lui după moştenirea pe care o va avea.”

And as for the cities that you shall give from the possession of the people of Israel, from the larger tribes you shall take many, and from the smaller tribes you shall take few; each, in proportion to the inheritance that it inherits, shall give of its cities to the Levites.”

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Szólj Izráel fiainak, és mondd meg nekik: „Amikor átmentek a Jordánon Kánaán földjére,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come over Jordan into the land of Canaan;

„Vorbeşte copiilor lui Israel şi spune-le: „Când veţi trece Iordanul şi veţi intra în ţara Canaanului,

“Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When you cross the Jordan into the land of Canaan,

válasszatok ki városokat, amelyek menedékvárosaitok legyenek, hogy oda menekülhessen a gyilkos, ha nem szándékosan öl meg valakit.

Válaszszatok ki magatoknak városokat, a melyek menedékvárosaitok legyenek, hogy oda szaladjon a gyilkos, a ki történetből öl meg valakit.

Then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you; that the slayer may flee thither, which killeth any person at unawares.

să vă alegeţi nişte cetăţi care să vă fie cetăţi de scăpare, unde să poată scăpa ucigaşul care va omorî pe cineva fără voie.

then you shall select cities to be cities of refuge for you, that the manslayer who kills any person without intent may flee there.

Legyenek e városok menedékül a vérbosszuló ellen, hogy ne haljon meg a gyilkos, amíg ítéletre nem áll a gyülekezet elé.

És legyenek azok a ti városaitok menedékül a vérbosszuló ellen, és ne haljon meg a gyilkos, míg ítéletre nem áll a gyülekezet elé.

And they shall be unto you cities for refuge from the avenger; that the manslayer die not, until he stand before the congregation in judgment.

Aceste cetăţi să vă slujească drept cetăţi de scăpare împotriva răzbunătorului sângelui, pentru ca ucigaşul să nu fie omorât înainte de a se înfăţişa în faţa adunării ca să fie judecat.

The cities shall be for you a refuge from the avenger, that the manslayer may not die until he stands before the congregation for judgment.

A városok közül hat legyen menedékvárosul.

A mely városokat pedig oda adtok, [azok] [közül] hat legyen néktek menedékvárosul.

And of these cities which ye shall give six cities shall ye have for refuge.

Din cetăţile pe care le veţi da, şase să vă fie cetăţi de scăpare.

And the cities that you give shall be your six cities of refuge.

Hármat jelöljetek ki a Jordánon túl és hármat Kánaán földjén; ezek menedékvárosok legyenek.

Három várost adjatok a Jordánon túl, és három várost adjatok a Kanaán földén; menedékvárosok legyenek [azok.]

Ye shall give three cities on this side Jordan, and three cities shall ye give in the land of Canaan, which shall be cities of refuge.

Să daţi trei cetăţi dincoace de Iordan, şi trei cetăţi în ţara Canaanului: acestea să vă fie cetăţi de scăpare.

You shall give three cities beyond the Jordan, and three cities in the land of Canaan, to be cities of refuge.

Menedékül legyen ez a hat város Izráel fiainak, a jövevényeknek és a közöttük lakozó idegeneknek, hogy oda menekülhessen az, aki nem szándékosan ölt meg valakit.

Izráel fiainak és a jövevénynek, és az ő közöttök lakozónak menedékül legyen az a hat város, hogy oda szaladjon az, a ki történetből öl meg valakit.

These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may flee thither.

Aceste şase cetăţi să fie cetăţi de scăpare pentru copiii lui Israel, pentru străin şi pentru cel ce locuieşte în mijlocul vostru: acolo va putea să scape orice om care va ucide pe cineva fără voie.

These six cities shall be for refuge for the people of Israel, and for the stranger and for the sojourner among them, that anyone who kills any person without intent may flee there.

Ha azonban valaki vaseszközzel úgy üt meg mást, hogy az belehal, gyilkos az. Halállal kell lakolnia.

De ha valaki vaseszközzel úgy üt meg valakit, hogy meghal, gyilkos az; halállal lakoljon a gyilkos.

And if he smite him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.

Dacă un om loveşte pe aproapele său cu o unealtă de fier, şi acesta moare, este un ucigaş: ucigaşul să fie pedepsit cu moartea.

“But if he struck him down with an iron object, so that he died, he is a murderer. The murderer shall be put to death.

Ha valaki a kezébe kerülő kővel, amely halált okozhat, úgy üti meg a másikat, hogy belehal, gyilkos az. Halállal kell lakolnia.

És ha kézben levő kővel, a melytől meghalhat, üti meg úgy, hogy meghal, gyilkos az; halállal lakoljon a gyilkos.

And if he smite him with throwing a stone, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.

Dacă-l loveşte cu o piatră pe care o ţine în mână, de care poate muri, şi moare, este un ucigaş: ucigaşul să fie pedepsit cu moartea.

And if he struck him down with a stone tool that could cause death, and he died, he is a murderer. The murderer shall be put to death.

Vagy ha valaki a kezébe kerülő faeszközzel, amely halált okozhat, úgy üti meg a másikat, hogy belehal, gyilkos az. Halállal kell lakolnia.

Vagy ha kézben lévő faeszközzel, a melytől meghalhat, üti meg úgy, hogy meghal, gyilkos az; halállal lakoljon a gyilkos.

Or if he smite him with an hand weapon of wood, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.

Dacă-l loveşte cu vreo unealtă de lemn pe care o ţine în mână, de care poate muri, şi moare, este un ucigaş: ucigaşul să fie pedepsit cu moartea.

Or if he struck him down with a wooden tool that could cause death, and he died, he is a murderer. The murderer shall be put to death.

Maga a vérbosszuló rokon ölje meg a gyilkost. Ölje meg, mihelyt találkozik vele.

A vérbosszuló rokon ölje meg a gyilkost; mihelyt találkozik vele, ölje meg azt.

The revenger of blood himself shall slay the murderer: when he meeteth him, he shall slay him.

Răzbunătorul sângelui să omoare pe ucigaş; când îl va întâlni, să-l omoare.

The avenger of blood shall himself put the murderer to death; when he meets him, he shall put him to death.

Ha valaki gyűlöletből ellöki a másikat, vagy szántszándékkal úgy hajít rá valamit, hogy az belehal,

Hogyha gyűlölségből taszítja meg őt, vagy szántszándékkal úgy hajít [valamit] reá, hogy meghal;

But if he thrust him of hatred, or hurl at him by laying of wait, that he die;

Dacă un om împinge pe aproapele său din ură sau dacă-l pândeşte şi aruncă ceva asupra lui, şi moare,

And if he pushed him out of hatred or hurled something at him, lying in wait, so that he died,

vagy ellenséges indulatból üti meg úgy a kezével, hogy belehal, halállal kell lakolnia, mert gyilkos az. A vérbosszuló rokon ölje meg, mihelyt találkozik vele.

Vagy ellenségeskedésből kezével üti meg azt úgy, hogy meghal: halállal lakoljon az, a ki ütötte; gyilkos az; a vérbosszuló rokon ölje meg azt a gyilkost, mihelyt találkozik vele.

Or in enmity smite him with his hand, that he die: he that smote him shall surely be put to death; for he is a murderer: the revenger of blood shall slay the murderer, when he meeteth him.

sau dacă-l loveşte cu mâna din vrăjmăşie, şi moare, cel ce l-a lovit să fie pedepsit cu moartea; este un ucigaş: răzbunătorul sângelui să omoare pe ucigaş, când îl va întâlni.

or in enmity struck him down with his hand, so that he died, then he who struck the blow shall be put to death. He is a murderer. The avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death when he meets him.

Ha pedig csak hirtelen, ellenséges indulat nélkül löki meg a másikat, vagy nem szántszándékkal dobta meg valamilyen eszközzel

Ha pedig hirtelenségből, ellenségeskedés nélkül taszítja meg őt; vagy nem szántszándékból hajít reá akármiféle eszközt;

But if he thrust him suddenly without enmity, or have cast upon him any thing without laying of wait,

Dar dacă un om împinge pe aproapele lui fără veste şi nu din vrăjmăşie sau dacă aruncă ceva asupra lui fără să-l fi pândit,

“But if he pushed him suddenly without enmity, or hurled anything on him without lying in wait

vagy kővel, amely halált okozhat, de úgy ejtette rá, hogy nem látta, és az belehalt, ámbár nem volt ő annak ellensége, nem is kereste annak vesztét,

Vagy akármiféle követ, a melytől meghalhat, úgy ejt valakire, a kit nem látott, hogy meghal, holott nem volt ő annak ellensége, sem nem kereste annak vesztét:

Or with any stone, wherewith a man may die, seeing him not, and cast it upon him, that he die, and was not his enemy, neither sought his harm:

sau dacă aruncă asupra lui din nebăgare de seamă o piatră care-i poate pricinui moartea, şi moare, fără să-l urască şi fără să caute să-i facă rău;

or used a stone that could cause death, and without seeing him dropped it on him, so that he died, though he was not his enemy and did not seek his harm,

akkor e törvények szerint ítéljen a gyülekezet az emberölő és a vérbosszuló rokon között.

Akkor ítéljen a gyülekezet az agyonütő között és a vérbosszuló rokon között e törvények szerint.

Then the congregation shall judge between the slayer and the revenger of blood according to these judgments:

then the congregation shall judge between the manslayer and the avenger of blood, in accordance with these rules.

Mentse meg a gyülekezet a gyilkost a vérbosszuló rokon kezéből, és küldje vissza a gyülekezet az ő menedékvárosába, amelybe szaladt, és lakjon abban, amíg meg nem hal a szent olajjal fölkent főpap.

És mentse ki a gyülekezet a gyilkost a vérbosszuló rokonnak kezéből, és küldje vissza azt a gyülekezet az ő menedékvárosába, a melybe szaladott vala, és lakozzék abban, míg meghal a főpap, a ki felkenetett a szent olajjal.

And the congregation shall deliver the slayer out of the hand of the revenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to the city of his refuge, whither he was fled: and he shall abide in it unto the death of the high priest, which was anointed with the holy oil.

Adunarea va izbăvi pe ucigaş din mâna răzbunătorului sângelui şi-l va face să se întoarcă în cetatea de scăpare unde fugise. Să locuiască acolo până la moartea marelui preot care este uns cu untdelemn sfânt.

And the congregation shall rescue the manslayer from the hand of the avenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to his city of refuge to which he had fled, and he shall live in it until the death of the high priest who was anointed with the holy oil.

Ha pedig kimegy a gyilkos menedékvárosának határából, amelybe szaladt,

Ha pedig kimegy a gyilkos az ő menedékvárosának határából, a melybe szaladott vala;

But if the slayer shall at any time come without the border of the city of his refuge, whither he was fled;

Dacă ucigaşul iese din hotarul cetăţii de scăpare unde fugise

But if the manslayer shall at any time go beyond the boundaries of his city of refuge to which he fled,

és a vérbosszuló rokon menedékvárosának határán kívül találja őt, akkor megölheti az a vérbosszuló rokon a gyilkost, nem terheli őt annak vére.

És találja őt a vérbosszuló rokon az ő menedékvárosának határán kivül, és megöli az a vérbosszuló rokon a gyilkost: nem lesz [annak] vére ő rajta;

And the revenger of blood find him without the borders of the city of his refuge, and the revenger of blood kill the slayer; he shall not be guilty of blood:

şi dacă răzbunătorul sângelui întâlneşte afară din hotarul cetăţii de scăpare şi ucide pe ucigaş, nu va fi vinovat de omor.

and the avenger of blood finds him outside the boundaries of his city of refuge, and the avenger of blood kills the manslayer, he shall not be guilty of blood.

Mert menedékvárosában kell laknia a főpap haláláig. De a főpap halála után visszatérhet a gyilkos az ő öröksége földjére.

Mert az ő menedékvárosában kell laknia a főpap haláláig; a főpap halála után pedig visszatérhet a gyilkos az ő örökségének földére.

Because he should have remained in the city of his refuge until the death of the high priest: but after the death of the high priest the slayer shall return into the land of his possession.

Căci ucigaşul trebuia să locuiască în cetatea lui de scăpare până la moartea marelui preot; şi după moartea marelui preot, putea să se întoarcă la moşia lui.

For he must remain in his city of refuge until the death of the high priest, but after the death of the high priest the manslayer may return to the land of his possession.

Ezek legyenek nálatok az ítélettételre szolgáló rendelkezések nemzedékről nemzedékre minden lakhelyeteken.

És legyenek ezek néktek ítéletre való rendelések a ti nemzetségeitek szerint, minden lakhelyeteken.

So these things shall be for a statute of judgment unto you throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

Iată poruncile de drept pentru voi şi pentru urmaşii voştri, în toate locurile în care veţi locui.

And these things shall be for a statute and rule for you throughout your generations in all your dwelling places.

Ha valaki megöl valakit, csak tanúk szavára szabad megölni a gyilkost. De egy tanú nem lehet elég senki ellen a halálos ítélethez.

Ha valaki megöl valakit, tanúk szavára gyilkolják meg a gyilkost; de egy tanú nem lehet elég tanú senki ellen, hogy meghaljon.

Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die.

Dacă un om omoară pe cineva, ucigaşul să fie omorât pe mărturia martorilor. Un singur martor nu va fi de ajuns ca să fie osândit cineva la moarte.

“If anyone kills a person, the murderer shall be put to death on the evidence of witnesses. But no person shall be put to death on the testimony of one witness.

Az olyan gyilkos életéért azonban ne fogadjatok el váltságdíjat, aki halálra méltó gonosz, hanem halállal kell lakolnia.

Az olyan gyilkos életéért pedig ne vegyetek el váltságot, a ki halálra való gonosz, hanem halállal lakoljon.

Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death.

Să nu primiţi răscumpărare pentru viaţa unui ucigaş vinovat de moarte, ci să fie pedepsit cu moartea.

Moreover, you shall accept no ransom for the life of a murderer, who is guilty of death, but he shall be put to death.

A főpap haláláig attól sem fogadhattok el váltságdíjat, hogy visszamehessen, és öröksége földjén lakozzék, aki a menedékvárosába futott.

Attól se vegyetek váltságot, a ki az ő menedékvárosába szaladt, hogy visszamehessen és otthon lakozzék a főpap haláláig.

And ye shall take no satisfaction for him that is fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest.

Să nu primiţi răscumpărare pentru cel ce trebuie să fugă în cetatea lui de scăpare, ca să se întoarcă să locuiască în ţară până la moartea preotului.

And you shall accept no ransom for him who has fled to his city of refuge, that he may return to dwell in the land before the death of the high priest.

Ne szentségtelenítsétek meg azt a földet, amelyen laktok. Mert a vér megszentségteleníti a földet, és a földnek nem lehet engesztelést szerezni a rajta kiöntött vér miatt, csak annak vére által, aki kiontotta.

És meg ne fertőztessétek a földet, a melyben lesztek; mert a vér, az megfertézteti a földet, és a földnek nem szerezhető engesztelés a vér miatt, a mely kiontatott azon, csak annak vére által, a ki kiontotta azt.

So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood it defileth the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it.

Să nu pângăriţi ţara unde veţi fi, căci sângele celui nevinovat pângăreşte ţara; şi ispăşirea sângelui vărsat în ţară nu se va putea face decât prin sângele celui ce-l va vărsa.

You shall not pollute the land in which you live, for blood pollutes the land, and no atonement can be made for the land for the blood that is shed in it, except by the blood of the one who shed it.

34

Ne tegyétek hát tisztátalanná azt a földet, ahol laktok, ahol én is lakozom. Mert én, az ÚR, Izráel fiai között lakozom.”

Ne tisztátalanítsd meg azért azt a földet, a melyben laktok, a melyben én [is] lakozom; mert én, az Úr, Izráel fiai között lakozom.

Defile not therefore the land which ye shall inhabit, wherein I dwell: for I the LORD dwell among the children of Israel.

Să nu pângăriţi deci ţara în care veţi merge să locuiţi şi în mijlocul căreia voi locui şi Eu, căci Eu sunt Domnul care locuieşte în mijlocul copiilor lui Israel.”

You shall not defile the land in which you live, in the midst of which I dwell, for I the LORD dwell in the midst of the people of Israel.”
