Azután továbbindultak Izráel fiai, és tábort ütöttek Móáb mezőségén a Jordánon túl, Jerikóval szemben.

És tovább menének Izráel fiai, és tábort ütének Moáb mezőségen a Jordánon túl, Jérikhó ellenében.

And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in the plains of Moab on this side Jordan by Jericho.

Copiii lui Israel au pornit şi au tăbărât în şesurile Moabului, dincolo de Iordan, în faţa Ierihonului.

Then the people of Israel set out and camped in the plains of Moab beyond the Jordan at Jericho.

Bálák, Cippór fia látta mindazt, amit Izráel cselekedett az emóriakkal.

És mikor látta Bálák, a Czippór fia mind azokat, a melyeket cselekedett vala Izráel az Emoreussal:

And Balak the son of Zippor saw all that Israel had done to the Amorites.

Balac, fiul lui Ţipor, a văzut tot ce făcuse Israel, amoriţilor.

And Balak the son of Zippor saw all that Israel had done to the Amorites.

Nagyon megrémült Móáb a néptől, mivel sokan voltak. Móáb félt Izráel fiaitól.

Igen megrémüle Moáb a néptől, mivelhogy sok vala az, és búsula Moáb Izráel fiai miatt.

And Moab was sore afraid of the people, because they were many: and Moab was distressed because of the children of Israel.

Şi Moab a rămas foarte îngrozit în faţa unui popor atât de mare la număr; l-a apucat groaza în faţa copiilor lui Israel.

And Moab was in great dread of the people, because they were many. Moab was overcome with fear of the people of Israel.

Ezért azt mondta Móáb Midján véneinek: Most lelegeli ez a sokaság minden környékünket, ahogy az ökör lelegeli a mező pázsitját. Abban az időben Bálák, Cippór fia volt Móáb királya.

Monda azért Moáb Midián véneinek: Most elnyalja e sokaság minden mi környékünket, a miképen elnyalja az ökör a mezőnek pázsitját. (Bálák pedig, Czippórnak fia Moáb királya vala abban az időben.)

And Moab said unto the elders of Midian, Now shall this company lick up all that are round about us, as the ox licketh up the grass of the field. And Balak the son of Zippor was king of the Moabites at that time.

Moab a zis bătrânilor lui Madian: „Mulţimea aceasta are să înghită tot ce este în jurul nostru, cum paşte boul verdeaţa de pe câmp.” Balac, fiul lui Ţipor, era pe atunci împărat al Moabului.

And Moab said to the elders of Midian, “This horde will now lick up all that is around us, as the ox licks up the grass of the field.” So Balak the son of Zippor, who was king of Moab at that time,

Követeket küldött Bálámhoz, Beór fiához a folyóvíz melletti Petórba, az ő népe fiainak földjére, hogy hívják őt e szavakkal: Íme, egy nép jött ki Egyiptomból, és íme, ellepte e föld színét, és megtelepszik velem szemben.

Külde azért követeket Bálámhoz, a Beór fiához Péthorba, a mely vala a folyóvíz mellett, az ő népe fiainak földére, hogy hívják őt, mondván: Ímé nép jött ki Égyiptomból, és ímé ellepte e földnek színét, és megtelepszik én ellenemben.

He sent messengers therefore unto Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, which is by the river of the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: behold, they cover the face of the earth, and they abide over against me:

El a trimis soli la Balaam, fiul lui Beor, la Petor pe Râu, în ţara fiilor poporului său, ca să-l cheme şi să-i spună: „Iată, un popor a ieşit din Egipt, acoperă faţa pământului şi s-a aşezat în faţa mea.

sent messengers to Balaam the son of Beor at Pethor, which is near the River in the land of the people of Amaw, to call him, saying, “Behold, a people has come out of Egypt. They cover the face of the earth, and they are dwelling opposite me.

Most azért kérlek, jöjj el, átkozd meg érettem e népet, mert erősebb nálam. Talán akkor legyőzhetem, megverjük őt, és kiűzhetem e földről. Jól tudom, hogy akit te megáldasz, az áldott lesz, és akit te megátkozol, az átkozott lesz.

Most azért kérlek jöjj el, átkozd meg érettem e népet, mert erősebb nálamnál; talán erőt vehetek rajta, megverjük őt, és kiűzhetem őt e földből; mert jól tudom, hogy a kit megáldasz, meg lesz áldva, és a kit megátkozol, átkozott lesz.

Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.

Vino, te rog, să-mi blestemi pe poporul acesta, căci este mai puternic decât mine; poate că aşa îl voi putea bate şi-l voi izgoni din ţară, căci ştiu că pe cine binecuvântezi tu este binecuvântat şi pe cine blestemi tu este blestemat.”

Come now, curse this people for me, since they are too mighty for me. Perhaps I shall be able to defeat them and drive them from the land, for I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed.”

Elmentek tehát Móáb vénei és Midján vénei, és a jövendőmondás díja a kezükben volt. Eljutottak Bálámhoz, és megmondták neki Bálák üzenetét.

Elmenének azért Moábnak vénei és Midiánnak vénei, és a jövendőmondásnak jutalma kezeikben vala, és jutának Bálámhoz, és megmondák néki Bálák izenetét.

And the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the rewards of divination in their hand; and they came unto Balaam, and spake unto him the words of Balak.

Bătrânii lui Moab şi bătrânii lui Madian au plecat, având cu ei daruri pentru ghicitor. Au ajuns la Balaam şi i-au spus cuvintele lui Balac.

So the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the fees for divination in their hand. And they came to Balaam and gave him Balak’s message.

Ő pedig azt felelte nekik: Töltsétek itt az éjszakát, és feleletet adok nektek úgy, ahogy az ÚR szól nekem. Erre Móáb vezető emberei ott maradtak Bálámnál.

Ő pedig monda nékik: Háljatok itt ez éjjel, és feleletet adok néktek, a miképen szól nékem az Úr. És Moábnak fejedelmei ott maradának Bálámnál.

And he said unto them, Lodge here this night, and I will bring you word again, as the LORD shall speak unto me: and the princes of Moab abode with Balaam.

Balaam le-a zis: „Rămâneţi aici peste noapte şi vă voi da răspuns, după cum îmi va spune Domnul.” Şi căpeteniile Moabului au rămas la Balaam.

And he said to them, “Lodge here tonight, and I will bring back word to you, as the LORD speaks to me.” So the princes of Moab stayed with Balaam.

Isten pedig eljött Bálámhoz, és azt mondta: Kik ezek a férfiak nálad?

Eljöve pedig az Isten Bálámhoz, és monda: Kicsodák ezek a férfiak te nálad?

And God came unto Balaam, and said, What men are these with thee?

Dumnezeu a venit la Balaam şi a zis: „Cine sunt oamenii aceştia pe care-i ai la tine?”

And God came to Balaam and said, “Who are these men with you?”

Bálám azt felelte Istennek: Bálák, Cippór fia, Móáb királya küldött énhozzám e szavakkal:

És monda Bálám az Istennek: Bálák, Czippór fia, Moáb királya, küldött én hozzám, [ezt mondván:]

And Balaam said unto God, Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, hath sent unto me, saying,

Balaam a răspuns lui Dumnezeu: „Balac, fiul lui Ţipor, împăratul Moabului, i-a trimis să-mi spună:

And Balaam said to God, “Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, has sent to me, saying,

Íme, e nép, amely kijött Egyiptomból, ellepte a föld színét. Most hát jöjj ide, átkozd meg azt érettem, talán megküzdhetek vele, és kiűzhetem őt.

Ímé e nép, a mely kijött Égyiptomból, ellepte a földnek színét; most azért jöjj el, átkozd meg azt érettem, talán megharczolhatok vele, és kiűzhetem őt.

Behold, there is a people come out of Egypt, which covereth the face of the earth: come now, curse me them; peradventure I shall be able to overcome them, and drive them out.

„Iată, un popor a ieşit din Egipt şi acoperă faţa pământului; vino, dar, şi blestemă-l; poate că aşa îl voi putea bate şi-l voi izgoni.”

‘Behold, a people has come out of Egypt, and it covers the face of the earth. Now come, curse them for me. Perhaps I shall be able to fight against them and drive them out.’”

Isten azt mondta Bálámnak: Ne menj el velük, ne átkozd meg azt a népet, mert áldott az.

És monda Isten Bálámnak: Ne menj el ő velök, ne átkozd meg azt a népet, mert áldott az.

And God said unto Balaam, Thou shalt not go with them; thou shalt not curse the people: for they are blessed.

Dumnezeu a zis lui Balaam: „Să nu te duci cu ei; şi nici să nu blestemi poporul acela, căci este binecuvântat.”

God said to Balaam, “You shall not go with them. You shall not curse the people, for they are blessed.”

Fölkelt tehát Bálám reggel, és azt mondta Bálák vezető embereinek: Térjetek vissza országotokba, mert nem akarja az ÚR megengedni nekem, hogy elmenjek veletek.

Felkele azért Bálám reggel, és monda a Bálák fejedelmeinek: Menjetek el a ti földetekre; mert nem akarja az Úr megengedni nékem, hogy elmenjek veletek.

And Balaam rose up in the morning, and said unto the princes of Balak, Get you into your land: for the LORD refuseth to give me leave to go with you.

Balaam s-a sculat dimineaţa şi a zis căpeteniilor lui Balac: „Duceţi-vă înapoi în ţara voastră, căci Domnul nu vrea să mă lase să merg cu voi.”

So Balaam rose in the morning and said to the princes of Balak, “Go to your own land, for the LORD has refused to let me go with you.”

Móáb vezető emberei fölkeltek, visszamentek Bálákhoz, és azt mondták: Nem akart Bálám eljönni velünk.

És felkelének Moáb fejedelmei, és jutának Bálákhoz, és mondának: Nem akart Bálám eljönni velünk.

And the princes of Moab rose up, and they went unto Balak, and said, Balaam refuseth to come with us.

Şi mai marii Moabului s-au sculat, s-au întors la Balac şi i-au spus: „Balaam n-a vrut să vină cu noi.”

So the princes of Moab rose and went to Balak and said, “Balaam refuses to come with us.”

Akkor Bálák még több, náluk tekintélyesebb főembert küldött.

Elkülde azért ismét Bálák több fejedelmet, amazoknál előkelőbbeket.

And Balak sent yet again princes, more, and more honourable than they.

Balac a trimis din nou mai multe căpetenii mai cu vază decât cele dinainte.

Once again Balak sent princes, more in number and more honorable than these.

Ezek megérkeztek Bálámhoz, és azt mondták neki: Ezt mondja Bálák, Cippór fia: „Kérlek, ne vonakodjál eljönni hozzám!

És eljutának Bálámhoz, és mondának néki: Ezt mondja Bálák, Czippórnak fia: Kérlek, ne vonakodjál eljönni hozzám!

And they came to Balaam, and said to him, Thus saith Balak the son of Zippor, Let nothing, I pray thee, hinder thee from coming unto me:

Au ajuns la Balaam şi i-au zis: „Aşa vorbeşte Balac, fiul lui Ţipor: „Nu mai pune piedici, şi vino la mine;

And they came to Balaam and said to him, “Thus says Balak the son of Zippor: ‘Let nothing hinder you from coming to me,

Mert igen-igen megtisztellek téged, és bármit mondasz nekem, megteszem. Jöjj hát el, kérlek, és átkozd meg nekem e népet!”

Mert igen-igen megtisztellek téged, és akármit mondasz nékem, megcselekszem. Jöjj el azért kérlek, és átkozd meg értem e népet!

For I will promote thee unto very great honour, and I will do whatsoever thou sayest unto me: come therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people.

căci îţi voi da multă cinste şi voi face tot ce-mi vei spune; numai vino, te rog, şi blestemă-mi poporul acesta!”

for I will surely do you great honor, and whatever you say to me I will do. Come, curse this people for me.’”

Bálám pedig így felelt Bálák szolgáinak: Ha Bálák az ő házát arannyal és ezüsttel tele adná is nekem, nem hághatom át az ÚRnak, az én Istenemnek szavát, hogy bármit is tegyek, akár kicsit, akár nagyot.

Bálám pedig felele és monda a Bálák szolgáinak: Ha Bálák az ő házát aranynyal és ezüsttel tele adná is nékem, nem hághatom át az Úrnak, az én Istenemnek szavát, hogy valamit míveljek; kicsinyt vagy nagyot.

And Balaam answered and said unto the servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of the LORD my God, to do less or more.

Balaam a răspuns şi a zis slujitorilor lui Balac: „Să-mi dea Balac chiar şi casa lui plină de argint şi de aur, şi tot n-aş putea să fac niciun lucru, fie mic, fie mare, împotriva poruncii Domnului Dumnezeului meu.

But Balaam answered and said to the servants of Balak, “Though Balak were to give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go beyond the command of the LORD my God to do less or more.

Mégis, kérlek, maradjatok itt ti is ma éjjel, hadd tudjam meg, mit szól ismét az ÚR nekem.

Most mindazonáltal maradjatok itt kérlek ti is ez éjjel, hadd tudjam meg, mit szól ismét az Úr nékem?

Now therefore, I pray you, tarry ye also here this night, that I may know what the LORD will say unto me more.

Totuşi, vă rog, rămâneţi aici la noapte, şi voi vedea ce-mi va mai spune Domnul.”

So you, too, please stay here tonight, that I may know what more the LORD will say to me.”

Isten eljött Bálámhoz éjjel, és azt mondta neki: Ha azért jöttek e férfiak, hogy elhívjanak téged, kelj fel, menj el velük. De csak azt tedd, amit majd mondok neked.

És eljöve Isten Bálámhoz éjjel, és monda néki: Ha azért jöttek e férfiak, hogy elhívjanak téged: kelj fel, menj el velök; de mindazáltal azt cselekedjed, a mit mondok majd néked.

And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men come to call thee, rise up, and go with them; but yet the word which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do.

Dumnezeu a venit la Balaam în timpul nopţii şi i-a zis: „Fiindcă oamenii aceştia au venit să te cheme, scoală-te şi du-te cu ei; dar să faci numai ce-ţi voi spune.”

And God came to Balaam at night and said to him, “If the men have come to call you, rise, go with them; but only do what I tell you.”

Fölkelt tehát Bálám reggel, megnyergelte a szamarát, és elment Móáb főembereivel.

Felkele azért Bálám reggel, és megnyergelé az ő szamarát, és elméne a Moáb fejedelmeivel.

And Balaam rose up in the morning, and saddled his ass, and went with the princes of Moab.

Balaam s-a sculat dimineaţa, a pus şaua pe măgăriţă şi a plecat cu căpeteniile lui Moab.

So Balaam rose in the morning and saddled his donkey and went with the princes of Moab.

De Isten megharagudott, hogy elment. Megállt az ÚR angyala az úton, hogy ellenkezzék vele. Ő pedig a szamarán ügetett, és két szolgája volt vele.

De megharaguvék Isten, hogy elmegy vala ő. És megálla az Úrnak angyala az útban, hogy ellenkezzék vele; ő pedig üget vala az ő szamarán, és két szolgája vala vele.

And God's anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the LORD stood in the way for an adversary against him. Now he was riding upon his ass, and his two servants were with him.

Dumnezeu S-a aprins de mânie pentru că plecase. Şi Îngerul Domnului S-a aşezat în drum, ca să i Se împotrivească. Balaam era călare pe măgăriţa lui, şi cei doi slujitori ai lui erau cu el.

But God’s anger was kindled because he went, and the angel of the LORD took his stand in the way as his adversary. Now he was riding on the donkey, and his two servants were with him.

Amikor meglátta a szamár az ÚR angyalát, amint az úton áll, kivont fegyverrel a kezében, letért a szamár az útról, és a mezőre ment. Bálám pedig ütni kezdte a szamarát, hogy visszatérítse az útra.

És meglátá a szamár az Úrnak angyalát, a mint áll vala az úton, és mezítelen fegyvere a kezében; letére azért a szamár az útról, és méne a mezőre; Bálám pedig veré az ő szamarát, hogy visszatérítse azt az útra.

And the ass saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and the ass turned aside out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam smote the ass, to turn her into the way.

Măgăriţa a văzut pe Îngerul Domnului stând în drum cu sabia scoasă din teacă în mână, s-a abătut din drum şi a luat-o pe câmp. Balaam şi-a bătut măgăriţa ca s-o aducă la drum.

And the donkey saw the angel of the LORD standing in the road, with a drawn sword in his hand. And the donkey turned aside out of the road and went into the field. And Balaam struck the donkey, to turn her into the road.

Azután megállt az ÚR angyala a szőlő ösvényén, ahol mindkét oldalon fal van.

Azután megálla az Úrnak angyala a szőlők ösvényén, holott innen is garád, onnan is garád vala.

But the angel of the LORD stood in a path of the vineyards, a wall being on this side, and a wall on that side.

Îngerul Domnului S-a aşezat într-o cărare dintre vii, şi de fiecare parte a cărării era câte un zid.

Then the angel of the LORD stood in a narrow path between the vineyards, with a wall on either side.

Amint meglátta a szamár az ÚR angyalát, a falhoz szorult, és Bálám lábát is odaszorította a falhoz, aki ezért ismét megverte.

A mint meglátá a szamár az Úrnak angyalát, a falhoz szorula, és a Bálám lábát is oda szorítá a falhoz; ezért ismét megveré azt.

And when the ass saw the angel of the LORD, she thrust herself unto the wall, and crushed Balaam's foot against the wall: and he smote her again.

Măgăriţa a văzut pe Îngerul Domnului; s-a strâns spre zid şi a strâns piciorul lui Balaam de zid. Balaam a bătut-o din nou.

And when the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, she pushed against the wall and pressed Balaam’s foot against the wall. So he struck her again.

Az ÚR angyala pedig ismét továbbment, és megállt egy szoros helyen, ahol nem térhettek sem jobbra, sem balra.

Az Úr angyala pedig ismét tovább méne, és megálla szoros helyen, hol nem volt út a kitérésre, sem jobbra, sem balra.

And the angel of the LORD went further, and stood in a narrow place, where was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left.

Îngerul Domnului a trecut mai departe şi S-a aşezat într-un loc unde nu era chip să te întorci nici la dreapta, nici la stânga.

Then the angel of the LORD went ahead and stood in a narrow place, where there was no way to turn either to the right or to the left.

Amint meglátta a szamár az ÚR angyalát, lefeküdt Bálám alatt. Erre megharagudott Bálám, és botjával megverte a szamarat.

A mint meglátá a szamár az Úrnak angyalát, lefeküvék Bálám alatt, azért megharaguvék Bálám, és megveré a szamarat bottal.

And when the ass saw the angel of the LORD, she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam's anger was kindled, and he smote the ass with a staff.

Măgăriţa a văzut pe Îngerul Domnului şi s-a culcat sub Balaam. Balaam s-a aprins de mânie şi a bătut măgăriţa cu un băţ.

When the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, she lay down under Balaam. And Balaam’s anger was kindled, and he struck the donkey with his staff.

Ekkor megnyitotta az ÚR a szamár száját, és az azt mondta Bálámnak: Mit vétettem ellened, hogy háromszor is megvertél engem?

És megnyitá az Úr a szamárnak száját, és monda a szamár Bálámnak: Mit vétettem néked, hogy immár háromszor vertél meg engem?

And the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times?

Domnul a deschis gura măgăriţei, şi ea a zis lui Balaam: „Ce ţi-am făcut, de mai bătut de trei ori?”

Then the LORD opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, “What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?”

Bálám pedig azt mondta a szamárnak: Mert megcsúfoltál engem! Bár volna fegyver a kezemben, most biztos megölnélek.

Bálám pedig monda a szamárnak: Mert megcsúfoltál engem! Vajha volna fegyver a kezemben, nyilván megölnélek most téged.

And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee.

Balaam a răspuns măgăriţei: „Pentru că ţi-ai bătut joc de mine; dacă aş avea o sabie în mână, te-aş ucide pe loc.”

And Balaam said to the donkey, “Because you have made a fool of me. I wish I had a sword in my hand, for then I would kill you.”

Ekkor így szólt a szamár Bálámhoz: Hát nem a te szamarad vagyok-e, amelyen járni szoktál, amióta tied lettem, mind e mai napig? Hát szoktam-e veled így tenni? Ő így felelt: Nem.

És monda a szamár Bálámnak: Avagy nem te szamarad vagyok-é, a melyen járni szoktál, a mióta megvagy, mind e napig? Avagy szoktam volt-é veled e képen cselekedni? Az pedig felele: Nem.

And the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay.

Măgăriţa a zis lui Balaam: „Nu sunt eu oare măgăriţa ta pe care ai călărit în tot timpul până în ziua de azi? Am eu oare obicei să-ţi fac aşa?” Şi el a răspuns: „Nu.”

And the donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your donkey, on which you have ridden all your life long to this day? Is it my habit to treat you this way?” And he said, “No.”

És megnyitotta az ÚR Bálám szemét, és látta az ÚR angyalát, amint az úton áll, és kivont fegyver van a kezében. Akkor meghajolt, és arcra borult.

És megnyitá az Úr a Bálám szemeit, és látá az Úr angyalát, a mint áll vala az útban, és mezítelen fegyverét az ő kezében; akkor meghajtá magát és arczra borula.

Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and he bowed down his head, and fell flat on his face.

Domnul a deschis ochii lui Balaam, şi Balaam a văzut pe Îngerul Domnului stând în drum, cu sabia scoasă în mână. Şi s-a plecat şi s-a aruncat cu faţa la pământ.

Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, with his drawn sword in his hand. And he bowed down and fell on his face.

Az ÚR angyala pedig azt mondta neki: Miért verted meg a szamaradat immár háromszor? Íme, én jöttem ki, hogy ellenkezzem veled, mert veszedelmes ez az út énelőttem.

Az Úrnak angyala pedig monda néki: Miért verted meg a te szamaradat immár három ízben? Ímé én jöttem ki, hogy ellenkezzem veled, mert veszedelmes ez az út én előttem.

And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine ass these three times? behold, I went out to withstand thee, because thy way is perverse before me:

Îngerul Domnului i-a zis: „Pentru ce ţi-ai bătut măgăriţa de trei ori? Iată, Eu am ieşit ca să-ţi stau împotrivă, căci drumul pe care mergi este un drum care duce la pierzare, înaintea Mea.

And the angel of the LORD said to him, “Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out to oppose you because your way is perverse before me.

Meglátott engem a szamár, és kitért előlem immár harmadjára. Ha nem tért volna ki előlem, most meg is öltelek volna, őt pedig életben hagytam volna.

És meglátott engem a szamár, és kitért én előttem immár három ízben; ha ki nem tért volna előlem, most meg is öltelek volna téged, őt pedig életben hagytam volna.

And the ass saw me, and turned from me these three times: unless she had turned from me, surely now also I had slain thee, and saved her alive.

Măgăriţa M-a văzut şi s-a abătut de trei ori dinaintea Mea; dacă nu s-ar fi abătut dinaintea Mea, pe tine te-aş fi omorât, iar pe ea aş fi lăsat-o vie.”

The donkey saw me and turned aside before me these three times. If she had not turned aside from me, surely just now I would have killed you and let her live.”

Bálám azt mondta az ÚR angyalának: Vétkeztem, mert nem tudtam, hogy te állsz előttem az úton. Most azért, ha nem tetszik ez neked, visszatérek.

Monda azért Bálám az Úr angyalának: Vétkeztem, mert nem tudtam, hogy te állasz előttem az útban. Most azért, ha nem tetszik [ez] néked, visszatérek.

And Balaam said unto the angel of the LORD, I have sinned; for I knew not that thou stoodest in the way against me: now therefore, if it displease thee, I will get me back again.

Balaam a zis Îngerului Domnului: „Am păcătuit, căci nu ştiam că Te-ai aşezat înaintea mea în drum; şi acum, dacă nu găseşti că e bine ce fac eu, mă voi întoarce.”

Then Balaam said to the angel of the LORD, “I have sinned, for I did not know that you stood in the road against me. Now therefore, if it is evil in your sight, I will turn back.”

Az ÚR angyala pedig azt mondta Bálámnak: Menj el e férfiakkal. De azt mondd, amit én mondok majd neked. Elment tehát Bálám Bálák fejedelmeivel.

Az Úrnak angyala pedig monda Bálámnak: Menj el e férfiakkal; mindazáltal a mit én mondok majd néked, azt mondjad. Elméne azért Bálám a Bálák fejedelmeivel.

And the angel of the LORD said unto Balaam, Go with the men: but only the word that I shall speak unto thee, that thou shalt speak. So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.

Îngerul Domnului a zis lui Balaam: „Du-te cu oamenii aceştia; dar să spui numai cuvintele pe care ţi le voi spune Eu.” Şi Balaam a plecat înainte cu căpeteniile lui Balac.

And the angel of the LORD said to Balaam, “Go with the men, but speak only the word that I tell you.” So Balaam went on with the princes of Balak.

Amikor meghallotta Bálák, hogy jön Bálám, kiment elé Móáb egyik városába, amely az Arnón vidékén, a határ szélén van.

Mikor pedig meghallá Bálák, hogy jön Bálám, kiméne elébe Moábnak [egyik] városába, a mely az Arnon vidékén, a határ szélén vala.

And when Balak heard that Balaam was come, he went out to meet him unto a city of Moab, which is in the border of Arnon, which is in the utmost coast.

Balac a auzit că vine Balaam şi i-a ieşit înainte până la cetatea Moabului, care este la hotarul Arnonului, la hotarul cel mai depărtat.

When Balak heard that Balaam had come, he went out to meet him at the city of Moab, on the border formed by the Arnon, at the extremity of the border.

Bálák azt mondta Bálámnak: Hát nem küldözgettem-e érted, hogy hívjanak téged? Miért nem jöttél hozzám? Hát talán nem tudlak megjutalmazni?

És monda Bálák Bálámnak: Avagy nem küldözgettem-é hozzád, hogy hívjanak téged? Miért nem jösz vala én hozzám? Avagy valóban nem tisztelhetnélek meg téged?

And Balak said unto Balaam, Did I not earnestly send unto thee to call thee? wherefore camest thou not unto me? am I not able indeed to promote thee to honour?

Balac a zis lui Balaam: „N-am trimis eu oare la tine să te cheme? Pentru ce n-ai venit la mine? Cum, nu pot eu oare să-ţi dau cinste?”

And Balak said to Balaam, “Did I not send to you to call you? Why did you not come to me? Am I not able to honor you?”

Bálám pedig azt felelte Báláknak: Íme, eljöttem hozzád. De most szólhatok-e valamit magamtól? Ami mondanivalót Isten ad számba, azt mondom.

Bálám pedig monda Báláknak: Ímé eljöttem hozzád. Most pedig szólhatok-é [magamtól] valamit? A mi mondani valót Isten ád az én számba, azt mondom.

And Balaam said unto Balak, Lo, I am come unto thee: have I now any power at all to say any thing? the word that God putteth in my mouth, that shall I speak.

Balaam a răspuns lui Balac: „Iată că am venit la tine; acum, îmi va fi oare îngăduit să spun ceva? Voi spune cuvintele pe care mi le va pune Dumnezeu în gură.”

Balaam said to Balak, “Behold, I have come to you! Have I now any power of my own to speak anything? The word that God puts in my mouth, that must I speak.”

És elment Bálám Bálákkal, és eljutottak Kirjat-Húcótba.

És elméne Bálám Bálákkal, és eljutának Kirjat-Husótba.

And Balaam went with Balak, and they came unto Kirjathhuzoth.

Balaam a mers cu Balac şi au ajuns la Chiriat-Huţot.

Then Balaam went with Balak, and they came to Kiriath-huzoth.

Ott Bálák ökröket és juhokat vágatott, és elküldte Bálámnak és a főembereknek, akik vele voltak.

És vágata Bálák ökröket és juhokat, és küldé Bálámnak és a fejedelmeknek, a kik vele valának.

And Balak offered oxen and sheep, and sent to Balaam, and to the princes that were with him.

Balac a jertfit boi şi oi şi a trimis din ei lui Balaam şi căpeteniilor care erau cu el.

And Balak sacrificed oxen and sheep, and sent for Balaam and for the princes who were with him.

Reggel pedig magához vette Bálák Bálámot, és fölvitte a Baal magas hegyére, hogy meglássa onnan a nép egy részét.

Reggel pedig magához vevé Bálák Bálámot és felvivé őt a Baál magas hegyére, hogy meglássa onnét a népnek valami részét.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that Balak took Balaam, and brought him up into the high places of Baal, that thence he might see the utmost part of the people.

Dimineaţa, Balac a luat pe Balaam şi l-a suit pe Bamot-Baal, de unde Balaam putea să vadă o parte din popor.

And in the morning Balak took Balaam and brought him up to Bamoth-baal, and from there he saw a fraction of the people.
