And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.

And a large crowd was following him, because they saw the signs that he was doing on the sick.

Közel volt a húsvét, a zsidók ünnepe.

And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh.

Now the Passover, the feast of the Jews, was at hand.

Amikor Jézus feltekintett, és látta, hogy nagy sokaság jön hozzá, azt mondta Fülöpnek: Honnan vegyünk kenyeret, hogy ezek ehessenek?

Mikor azért felemelé Jézus a szemeit, és látá, hogy nagy sokaság jő hozzá, monda Filepnek: Honnan vegyünk kenyeret, hogy ehessenek ezek?

When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?

Isus Şi-a ridicat ochii şi a văzut că o mare gloată vine spre El. Şi a zis lui Filip: „De unde avem să cumpărăm pâini ca să mănânce oamenii aceştia?”

Lifting up his eyes, then, and seeing that a large crowd was coming toward him, Jesus said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, so that these people may eat?”

And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.

Fülöp így válaszolt: Kétszáz dénár árú kenyér sem lenne elég ezeknek, hogy mindenki kapjon valami keveset.

Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.

Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread would not be enough for each of them to get a little.”

There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?

“There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are they for so many?”

Jézus pedig azt mondta: Ültessétek le az embereket. Nagy fű volt azon a helyen, és leültek a férfiak, szám szerint mintegy ötezren.

Jézus pedig monda: Ültessétek le az embereket. Nagy fű vala pedig azon a helyen. Leülének azért a férfiak, számszerint mintegy ötezeren.

And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

Isus a zis: „Spuneţi oamenilor să şadă jos.” În locul acela era multă iarbă. Oamenii au şezut jos, în număr de aproape cinci mii.

Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, about five thousand in number.

Jézus pedig vette a kenyereket, hálát adott, és szétosztotta az ott ülőknek, hasonlóképpen a halakat is, amennyit akartak.

Jézus pedig vevé a kenyereket, és hálát adván, adta a tanítványoknak, a tanítványok pedig a leülteknek; hasonlóképen a halakból is, a mennyit akarnak vala.

And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.

Isus a luat pâinile, a mulţumit lui Dumnezeu, le-a împărţit ucenicilor, iar ucenicii le-au împărţit celor ce şedeau jos; de asemenea, le-a dat şi din peşti cât au voit.

Jesus then took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated. So also the fish, as much as they wanted.

Amikor jóllaktak, azt mondta tanítványainak: Szedjétek össze a megmaradt darabokat, nehogy kárba vesszenek!

A mint pedig betelének, monda az ő tanítványainak: Szedjétek össze a megmaradt darabokat, hogy semmi el ne veszszen.

When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.

După ce s-au săturat, Isus a zis ucenicilor Săi: „Strângeţi firimiturile care au rămas, ca să nu se piardă nimic.”

And when they had eaten their fill, he told his disciples, “Gather up the leftover fragments, that nothing may be lost.”

Összeszedték azért, és tizenkét kosarat töltöttek meg az öt árpakenyérből való darabokkal, amelyek megmaradtak az étkezők után.

Összeszedék azért, és megtöltének tizenkét kosarat az öt árpa kenyérből való darabokkal, a melyek megmaradtak vala az evők után.

Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.

Le-au adunat deci şi au umplut douăsprezece coşuri cu firimiturile care rămăseseră din cele cinci pâini de orz, după ce mâncaseră toţi.

So they gathered them up and filled twelve baskets with fragments from the five barley loaves left by those who had eaten.

Az emberek, amikor látták a csodálatos jelt, amelyet Jézus tett, azt mondták: Valóban ez az a próféta, akinek el kellett jönnie a világra.

Az emberek azért látva a jelt, a melyet Jézus tőn, mondának: Bizonnyal ez ama próféta, a ki eljövendő vala a világra.

Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.

Oamenii aceia, când au văzut minunea pe care o făcuse Isus, ziceau: „Cu adevărat, Acesta este Prorocul cel aşteptat în lume.”

When the people saw the sign that he had done, they said, “This is indeed the Prophet who is to come into the world!”

Amikor Jézus észrevette, hogy jönnek, és erőszakkal királlyá akarják tenni, visszavonult ismét a hegyre egymagában.

Jézus azért, a mint észrevevé, hogy jőni akarnak és őt elragadni, hogy királylyá tegyék, ismét elvonula egymaga a hegyre.

When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

Isus, fiindcă ştia că au de gând să vină să-L ia cu sila ca să-L facă împărat, S-a dus iarăşi la munte, numai El singur.

Perceiving then that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, Jesus withdrew again to the mountain by himself.

And when even was now come, his disciples went down unto the sea,

Când s-a înserat, ucenicii Lui s-au coborât la marginea mării.

When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea,

és hajóba szálltak, hogy átmenjenek a tengeren túli Kapernaumba. Már sötét volt, de Jézus még mindig nem jött oda hozzájuk.

És beszállva a hajóba, mennek vala a tengeren túl Kapernaumba. És már sötétség volt, és még nem ment vala hozzájuk Jézus.

And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them.

S-au suit într-o corabie şi treceau marea, ca să se ducă în Capernaum. Se întunecase, şi Isus tot nu venise la ei.

got into a boat, and started across the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them.

A tenger pedig az erős szél miatt háborgott.

És a tenger a nagy szél fúvása miatt háborog vala.

And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew.

Sufla un vânt puternic şi marea era întărâtată.

The sea became rough because a strong wind was blowing.

Amikor azért huszonöt- vagy harmincfutamnyira beeveztek, és meglátták Jézust, amint a tengeren jár, és a hajóhoz közeledik, megrémültek.

Mikor azért huszonöt, vagy harmincz futamatnyira beevezének, megláták Jézust, a mint jár vala a tengeren és a hajóhoz közeledik vala: és megrémülének.

So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.

După ce au vâslit cam douăzeci şi cinci sau treizeci de stadii, văd pe Isus umblând pe mare şi apropiindu-Se de corabie. Şi s-au înfricoşat.

When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they were frightened.

Ő pedig azt mondta nekik: Én vagyok, ne féljetek!

But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid.

Dar Isus le-a zis: „Eu sunt, nu vă temeţi!”

But he said to them, “It is I; do not be afraid.”

Akkor be akarták venni a hajóba, de a hajó máris azon a parton volt, ahova tartottak.

Be akarák azért őt venni a hajóba: és a hajó azonnal ama földnél vala, a melyre menének.

Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.

Voiau deci să-L ia în corabie. Şi corabia a sosit îndată la locul spre care mergeau.

Then they were glad to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going.

Másnap a tenger túlsó partján maradt sokaság látta, hogy nem volt ott más hajó, csak az az egy, és hogy Jézus nem szállt be a tanítványaival a hajóba, hanem csak tanítványai mentek el.

Másnap a sokaság, a mely a tengeren túl állott vala, látva, hogy nem vala ott más hajó, csak az az egy, a melybe a Jézus tanítványai szállottak, és hogy Jézus nem ment be az ő tanítványaival a hajóba, hanem csak az ő tanítványai mentek el,

The day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was none other boat there, save that one whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone;

On the next day the crowd that remained on the other side of the sea saw that there had been only one boat there, and that Jesus had not entered the boat with his disciples, but that his disciples had gone away alone.

(Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, after that the Lord had given thanks:)

Other boats from Tiberias came near the place where they had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks.

És amikor látta a sokaság, hogy sem Jézus, sem a tanítványai nincsenek ott, ők is hajókba szálltak, és Kapernaumba mentek Jézust keresni.

Mikor azért látta a sokaság, hogy sem Jézus, sem a tanítványai nincsenek ott, beszállának ők is a hajókba, és elmenének Kapernaumba, keresvén Jézust.

When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples, they also took shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus.

Când au văzut noroadele că nici Isus, nici ucenicii Lui nu erau acolo, s-au suit şi ele în corăbiile acestea şi s-au dus la Capernaum să caute pe Isus.

So when the crowd saw that Jesus was not there, nor his disciples, they themselves got into the boats and went to Capernaum, seeking Jesus.

And when they had found him on the other side of the sea, they said unto him, Rabbi, when camest thou hither?

Când L-au găsit, dincolo de mare, I-au zis: „Învăţătorule, când ai venit aici?”

When they found him on the other side of the sea, they said to him, “Rabbi, when did you come here?”

Jézus pedig így válaszolt: Bizony, bizony mondom nektek, nem azért kerestek engem, mert csodajeleket láttatok, hanem azért, mert ettetek a kenyerekből, és jóllaktatok.

Felele nékik Jézus és monda: Bizony, bizony mondom néktek: nem azért kerestek engem, hogy jeleket láttatok, hanem azért, mert ettetek ama kenyerekből, és jóllaktatok.

Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.

Drept răspuns, Isus le-a zis: „Adevărat, adevărat vă spun că Mă căutaţi nu pentru că aţi văzut semne, ci pentru că aţi mâncat din pâinile acelea şi v-aţi săturat.

Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you are seeking me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves.

Ne a veszendő eledelért fáradozzatok, hanem azért az örök életre megmaradó eledelért, amelyet az Emberfia ad majd nektek, akin az Atya Isten pecsétje van.

Munkálkodjatok ne az eledelért, a mely elvész, hanem az eledelért, a mely megmarad az örök életre, a melyet az embernek Fia ád majd néktek; mert őt az Atya pecsételte el, az Isten.

Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

Lucraţi nu pentru mâncarea pieritoare, ci pentru mâncarea care rămâne pentru viaţa veşnică şi pe care v-o va da Fiul omului; căci Tatăl, adică însuşi Dumnezeu, pe El L-a însemnat cu pecetea Lui.”

Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal.”

Ekkor azt kérdezték tőle: Mit kell tennünk, hogy az Isten dolgait cselekedjük?

Mondának azért néki: Mit csináljunk, hogy az Isten dolgait cselekedjük?

Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

Ei I-au zis: „Ce să facem ca să săvârşim lucrările lui Dumnezeu?”

Then they said to him, “What must we do, to be doing the works of God?”

Jézus így válaszolt nekik: Az az Isten dolga, hogy higgyetek abban, akit ő küldött.

Felele Jézus és monda nékik: Az az Isten dolga, hogy higyjetek abban, a kit ő küldött.

Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Isus le-a răspuns: „Lucrarea pe care o cere Dumnezeu este aceasta: să credeţi în Acela pe care L-a trimis El.”

Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”

Erre azt kérdezték: Te milyen jelt mutatsz, hogy lássuk, és higgyünk neked? Mit teszel?

Mondának azért néki: Micsoda jelt mutatsz tehát te, hogy lássuk és higyjünk néked? Mit művelsz?

They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?

„Ce semn faci Tu deci”, I-au zis ei, „ca să-l vedem şi să credem în Tine? Ce lucrezi Tu?

So they said to him, “Then what sign do you do, that we may see and believe you? What work do you perform?

Atyáink a mannát ették a pusztában, ahogy meg van írva: Mennyei kenyeret adott nekik enni.

A mi atyáink a mannát ették a pusztában; a mint meg van írva: Mennyei kenyeret adott vala enniök.

Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.

Părinţii noştri au mâncat mană în pustiu, după cum este scris: „Le-a dat să mănânce pâine din cer.”

Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’”

Erre Jézus azt mondta nekik: Bizony, bizony mondom nektek, nem Mózes adta nektek a mennyei kenyeret, hanem az én Atyám adja majd nektek az igazi mennyei kenyeret,

Monda azért nékik Jézus: Bizony, bizony mondom néktek: nem Mózes adta néktek a mennyei kenyeret, hanem az én Atyám adja majd néktek az igazi mennyei kenyeret.

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.

Isus le-a zis: „Adevărat, adevărat vă spun că Moise nu v-a dat pâinea din cer, ci Tatăl Meu vă dă adevărata pâine din cer;

Jesus then said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven.

mert az az Isten kenyere, amely a mennyből száll alá, és életet ad a világnak.

Mert az az Istennek kenyere, a mely mennyből száll alá, és életet ád a világnak.

For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

căci Pâinea lui Dumnezeu este aceea care Se coboară din cer şi dă lumii viaţa.”

For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

Akkor azt mondták neki: Uram, add nekünk mindenkor ezt a kenyeret!

Mondának azért néki: Uram, mindenkor add nékünk ezt a kenyeret!

Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.

„Doamne”, I-au zis ei, „dă-ne totdeauna această pâine.”

They said to him, “Sir, give us this bread always.”

Jézus pedig azt válaszolta: Én vagyok az élet kenyere, aki hozzám jön, nem éhezik meg soha, és aki hisz bennem, nem szomjazik meg soha.

Jézus pedig monda nékik: Én vagyok az életnek ama kenyere; a ki hozzám jő, semmiképen meg nem éhezik, és a ki hisz bennem, meg nem szomjúhozik soha.

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Isus le-a zis: „Eu sunt Pâinea vieţii. Cine vine la Mine nu va flămânzi niciodată; şi cine crede în Mine nu va înseta niciodată.

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.

De megmondtam nektek, hogy noha láttatok engem, mégsem hisztek.

De mondám néktek, hogy noha láttatok is engem, még sem hisztek.

But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.

Dar v-am spus că M-aţi şi văzut, şi tot nu credeţi.

But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe.

Mindenki, akit nekem ad az Atya, hozzám jön, és aki hozzám jön, azt semmiképpen nem taszítom el.

Minden, a mit nékem ád az Atya, én hozzám jő; és azt, a ki hozzám jő, semmiképen ki nem vetem.

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

Tot ce-Mi dă Tatăl va ajunge la Mine; şi pe cel ce vine la Mine, nu-l voi izgoni afară:

All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.

Mert azért szálltam le a mennyből, hogy ne a magam akaratát cselekedjem, hanem annak akaratát, aki elküldött engem.

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

căci M-am coborât din cer ca să fac nu voia Mea, ci voia Celui ce M-a trimis.

For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me.

Az pedig annak akarata, aki elküldött engem, hogy abból, amit nekem adott, semmit el ne veszítsek, hanem feltámasszam azt az utolsó napon.

Az pedig az Atyának akarata, a ki elküldött engem, hogy a mit nékem adott, abból semmit el ne veszítsek, hanem feltámaszszam azt az utolsó napon.

And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

Şi voia Celui ce M-a trimis este să nu pierd nimic din tot ce Mi-a dat El, ci să-l înviez în ziua de apoi.

And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day.

Az pedig az én Atyámnak akarata, hogy aki látja a Fiút, és hisz benne, örök élete legyen, és feltámasszam az utolsó napon.

Az pedig annak az akarata, a ki elküldött engem, hogy mindaz, a ki látja a Fiút és hisz ő benne, örök élete legyen; és én feltámaszszam azt azt utolsó napon.

And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Voia Tatălui Meu este ca oricine vede pe Fiul şi crede în El să aibă viaţa veşnică; şi Eu îl voi învia în ziua de apoi.”

For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”

A zsidók zúgolódtak ellene, mert azt mondta: Én vagyok az a kenyér, amely a mennyből szállt alá.

Zúgolódának azért a zsidók ő ellene, hogy azt mondá: Én vagyok az a kenyér, a mely a mennyből szállott alá.

The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.

Iudeii cârteau împotriva Lui, pentru că zisese: „Eu sunt Pâinea care S-a coborât din cer.”

So the Jews grumbled about him, because he said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven.”

És azt mondták: Nemde Jézus ez, a József fia, akinek ismerjük az apját és az anyját? Hogyan mondhatja akkor, hogy a mennyből szállt alá?

És mondának: Nem ez-é Jézus, a József fia, a kinek mi ismerjük atyját és anyját? mimódon mondja hát ez, hogy: A mennyből szállottam alá?

And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?

Şi ziceau: „Oare nu este Acesta Isus, fiul lui Iosif, pe al cărui tată şi mamă îi cunoaştem? Cum deci zice El: „Eu M-am coborât din cer”?”

They said, “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How does he now say, ‘I have come down from heaven’?”

Jézus ekkor így válaszolt: Ne zúgolódjatok egymás között!

Felele azért Jézus és monda nékik: Ne zúgolódjatok egymás között!

Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.

Isus le-a răspuns: „Nu cârtiţi între voi.

Jesus answered them, “Do not grumble among yourselves.

No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Nimeni nu poate veni la Mine, dacă nu-l atrage Tatăl, care M-a trimis; şi Eu îl voi învia în ziua de apoi.

No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.

Meg van írva a prófétáknál: És mindnyájan Istentől tanítottak lesznek. Mindaz, aki hallja az Atyát, és tanul tőle, énhozzám jön.

It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

În Proroci este scris: „Toţi vor fi învăţaţi de Dumnezeu.” Aşa că oricine a ascultat pe Tatăl şi a primit învăţătura Lui vine la Mine.

It is written in the Prophets, ‘And they will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me—

Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die.

Én vagyok az az élő kenyér, amely a mennyből szállt alá, ha valaki eszik ebből a kenyérből, élni fog örökké. Ez a kenyér pedig az én testem, amelyet odaadok a világ életéért.

Én vagyok amaz élő kenyér, a mely a mennyből szállott alá; ha valaki eszik e kenyérből, él örökké. És az a kenyér pedig, a melyet én adok, az én testem, a melyet én adok a világ életéért.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

Eu sunt Pâinea vie care s-a coborât din cer. Dacă mănâncă cineva din pâinea aceasta, va trăi în veac; şi pâinea pe care o voi da Eu este trupul Meu pe care Îl voi da pentru viaţa lumii.”

I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”

A zsidók egymás között vitatkozni kezdtek, és azt kérdezték: Hogyan adhatja nekünk a testét, hogy azt együk?

Tusakodának azért a zsidók egymás között, mondván: Mimódon adhatja ez nékünk a testét, hogy [azt] együk?

The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?

La auzul acestor cuvinte, iudeii se certau între ei şi ziceau: „Cum poate Omul acesta să ne dea trupul Lui să-L mâncăm?”

The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?”

Jézus azt mondta nekik: Bizony, bizony mondom nektek, ha nem eszitek az Emberfiának testét, és nem isszátok az ő vérét, nincs élet bennetek.

Monda azért nékik Jézus: Bizony, bizony mondom néktek: Ha nem eszitek az ember Fiának testét és nem iszszátok az ő vérét, nincs élet bennetek.

Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Isus le-a zis: „Adevărat, adevărat vă spun că, dacă nu mâncaţi trupul Fiului omului şi dacă nu beţi sângele Lui, n-aveţi viaţa în voi înşivă.

So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.

Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.

For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink.

A ki eszi az én testemet és iszsza az én véremet, az én bennem lakozik és én is abban.

He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

Cine mănâncă trupul Meu şi bea sângele Meu rămâne în Mine, şi Eu rămân în el.

Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.

Ahogy elküldött engem az élő Atya, és én az Atya által élek, úgy az is, aki engem eszik, élni fog általam.

A miként elküldött engem amaz élő Atya, és én az Atya által élek: akként az is, a ki engem eszik, él én általam.

As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.

După cum Tatăl, care este viu, M-a trimis pe Mine, şi Eu trăiesc prin Tatăl, tot aşa, cine Mă mănâncă pe Mine va trăi şi el prin Mine.

As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me.

Ez a kenyér, amely a mennyből szállt alá, nem olyan, mint amilyet atyáitok ettek, és meghaltak: aki ezt a kenyeret eszi, élni fog örökké.

Ez az a kenyér, a mely a mennyből szállott alá; nem úgy, a mint a ti atyáitok evék a mannát és meghalának: a ki ezt a kenyeret eszi, él örökké.

This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

Astfel este Pâinea care S-a coborât din cer, nu ca mana pe care au mâncat-o părinţii voştri, şi totuşi au murit: cine mănâncă Pâinea aceasta va trăi în veac.”

This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”

These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.

A tanítványai közül többen, akik ezt hallották, azt mondták: Kemény beszéd ez, ki tudja ezt megérteni?

Sokan azért, a kik hallák [ezeket] az ő tanítványai közül, mondának: Kemény beszéd ez; ki hallgathatja őt?

Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?

Mulţi din ucenicii Lui, după ce au auzit aceste cuvinte, au zis: „Vorbirea aceasta este prea de tot: cine poate s-o sufere?”

When many of his disciples heard it, they said, “This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?”

Mivel Jézus magától is tudta, hogy emiatt zúgolódnak tanítványai, azt mondta nekik: Ez megbotránkoztat titeket?

Tudván pedig Jézus ő magában, hogy e miatt zúgolódnak az ő tanítványai, monda nékik: Titeket ez megbotránkoztat?

When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?

Isus, care ştia în Sine că ucenicii Săi cârteau împotriva vorbirii acesteia, le-a zis: „Vorbirea aceasta este pentru voi o pricină de poticnire?

But Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples were grumbling about this, said to them, “Do you take offense at this?

Hát ha majd meglátjátok az Emberfiát felmenni oda, ahol korábban volt!

Hát ha meglátjátok az embernek Fiát felszállani oda, a hol elébb vala?!

What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?

Dar dacă aţi vedea pe Fiul omului suindu-Se unde era mai înainte?…

Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?

A lélek az, ami megelevenít, a test nem használ semmit; a beszédek, amelyeket mondtam nektek, lélek és élet.

A lélek az, a mi megelevenít, a test nem használ semmit: a beszédek, a melyeket én szólok néktek, lélek és élet.

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Duhul este acela care dă viaţă, carnea nu foloseşte la nimic; cuvintele pe care vi le-am spus Eu sunt duh şi viaţă.

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.

De vannak közöttetek némelyek, akik nem hisznek. Mert Jézus kezdettől fogva tudta, hogy kik azok, akik nem hisznek, és ki az, aki elárulja őt.

De vannak némelyek közöttetek, a kik nem hisznek. Mert eleitől fogva tudta Jézus, kik azok, a kik nem hisznek, és ki az, a ki elárulja őt.

But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

Dar sunt unii din voi care nu cred.” Căci Isus ştia de la început cine erau cei ce nu cred şi cine era cel ce avea să-L vândă.

But there are some of you who do not believe.” (For Jesus knew from the beginning who those were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray him.)

És azt mondta: Ezért mondtam nektek, hogy senki sem jöhet hozzám, ha nem adta meg az Atya neki.

És monda: Azért mondtam néktek, hogy senki sem jöhet én hozzám, hanemha az én Atyámtól van megadva néki.

And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

Şi a adăugat: „Tocmai de aceea v-am spus că nimeni nu poate să vină la Mine, dacă nu i-a fost dat de Tatăl Meu.”

And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.”

Ettől fogva sokan visszavonultak a tanítványai közül, és többé nem jártak vele.

Ettől fogva sokan visszavonulának az ő tanítványai közül és nem járnak vala többé ő vele.

From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

Din clipa aceea, mulţi din ucenicii Lui s-au întors înapoi şi nu mai umblau cu El.

After this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him.

Jézus meg is kérdezte a tizenkettőt: Vajon ti is el akartok menni?

Monda azért Jézus a tizenkettőnek: Vajjon ti is el akartok-é menni?

Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?

Atunci Isus a zis celor doisprezece: „Voi nu vreţi să vă duceţi?”

So Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you want to go away as well?”

Simon Péter így válaszolt: Uram, kihez mehetnénk? Örök élet beszéde van tenálad,

Felele néki Simon Péter: Uram, kihez mehetnénk? Örök életnek beszéde van te nálad.

Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

„Doamne”, I-a răspuns Simon Petru, „la cine să ne ducem? Tu ai cuvintele vieţii veşnice.

Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life,

és mi elhittük és megismertük, hogy te vagy az Isten Szentje.

És mi elhittük és megismertük, hogy te vagy a Krisztus, az élő Istennek Fia.

And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

Şi noi am crezut şi am ajuns la cunoştinţa că Tu eşti Hristosul, Sfântul lui Dumnezeu.”

and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.”

Jézus azt felelte: Nemde én választottalak ki titeket, a tizenkettőt? De egy közületek ördög.

Felele nékik Jézus: Nem én választottalak-é ki titeket, a tizenkettőt? és egy közületek ördög.

Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

Isus le-a răspuns: „Nu v-am ales Eu pe voi cei doisprezece? Şi totuşi unul din voi este un drac.”

Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the twelve? And yet one of you is a devil.”
