Miután ezeket elmondta Jézus, tanítványaival együtt kiment a Kedron patakján túlra, ahol egy kert volt. Ide ment be a tanítványaival együtt.

Mikor ezeket mondta vala Jézus, kiméne az ő tanítványaival együtt túl a Kedron patakán, a hol egy kert vala, a melybe bemenének ő és az ő tanítványai.

When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples.

După ce a rostit aceste vorbe, Isus a plecat cu ucenicii Săi dincolo de pârâul Chedron, unde era o grădină, în care a intrat El şi ucenicii Lui.

When Jesus had spoken these words, he went out with his disciples across the brook Kidron, where there was a garden, which he and his disciples entered.

Ezt a helyet Júdás is ismerte, aki őt elárulta, mivel Jézus gyakran gyűlt ott össze tanítványaival.

Ismeré pedig azt a helyet Júdás is, a ki őt elárulja vala; mivelhogy gyakorta ott gyűlt egybe Jézus az ő tanítványaival.

And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples.

Iuda, vânzătorul, ştia şi el locul acela, pentru că Isus de multe ori Se adunase acolo cu ucenicii Lui.

Now Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place, for Jesus often met there with his disciples.

Júdás tehát odament az általa vezetett katonai csapattal és a főpapoknak és a farizeusoknak fegyverekkel, fáklyákkal és lámpásokkal felfegyverzett szolgáival.

Júdás azért magához vevén a [katonai] csapatot, és a papi fejedelmektől és a farizeusoktól szolgákat, oda méne fáklyákkal, lámpásokkal és fegyverekkel.

Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.

Iuda deci a luat ceata ostaşilor şi pe aprozii trimişi de preoţii cei mai de seamă şi de farisei şi a venit acolo cu felinare, cu făclii şi cu arme.

So Judas, having procured a band of soldiers and some officers from the chief priests and the Pharisees, went there with lanterns and torches and weapons.

Mivel Jézus tudta mindazt, ami reá várt, eléjük ment, és azt kérdezte tőlük: Kit kerestek?

Jézus azért tudván mindazt, a mi reá következendő vala, előre méne, és monda azoknak: Kit kerestek?

Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?

Isus, care ştia tot ce avea să I se întâmple, a mers spre ei şi le-a zis: „Pe cine căutaţi?”

Then Jesus, knowing all that would happen to him, came forward and said to them, “Whom do you seek?”

Azok így válaszoltak: A názáreti Jézust. Ő így felelt: Én vagyok. Árulója, Júdás is ott állt velük együtt.

Felelének néki: A názáreti Jézust. Monda nékik Jézus: Én vagyok. [Ott] állt pedig ő velök Júdás is, a ki elárulta őt.

They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.

Ei I-au răspuns: „Pe Isus din Nazaret!” Isus le-a zis: „Eu sunt!” Iuda, vânzătorul, era şi el cu ei.

They answered him, “Jesus of Nazareth.” Jesus said to them, “I am he.” Judas, who betrayed him, was standing with them.

Amikor azt mondta nekik, hogy „Én vagyok”, meghátráltak, és a földre estek.

Mikor azért azt mondá nékik, hogy: Én vagyok; hátra vonulának és földre esének.

As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.

Când le-a zis Isus: „Eu sunt”, ei s-au dat înapoi şi au căzut jos la pământ.

When Jesus said to them, “I am he,” they drew back and fell to the ground.

Ismét megkérdezte őket: Kit kerestek? És azt válaszolták: A názáreti Jézust.

Ismét megkérdezé azért őket: Kit kerestek? És azok mondának: A názáreti Jézust.

Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.

El i-a întrebat din nou: „Pe cine căutaţi?” „Pe Isus din Nazaret”, I-au zis ei.

So he asked them again, “Whom do you seek?” And they said, “Jesus of Nazareth.”

Mondtam nektek, hogy én vagyok – szólt Jézus –, azért ha engem kerestek, ezeket bocsássátok el.

Felele Jézus: Mondtam néktek, hogy én vagyok [az.] Azért, ha engem kerestek, ezeket bocsássátok el;

Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:

Isus a răspuns: „V-am spus că Eu sunt. Deci dacă Mă căutaţi pe Mine, lăsaţi pe aceştia să se ducă.”

Jesus answered, “I told you that I am he. So, if you seek me, let these men go.”

Hogy beteljesedjen szava, amelyet mondott: Azok közül, akiket nekem adtál, senkit sem vesztettem el.

Hogy beteljesüljön a beszéd, a melyet mondott: Azok közül, a kiket nékem adtál, senkit sem vesztettem el.

That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none.

A zis lucrul acesta ca să se împlinească vorba pe care o spusese: „N-am pierdut pe niciunul din aceia pe care Mi i-ai dat.”

This was to fulfill the word that he had spoken: “Of those whom you gave me I have lost not one.”

Simon Péter pedig, akinél kard volt, kirántotta, a főpap szolgájára sújtott, és levágta a jobb fülét. A szolga neve pedig Málkus volt.

Simon Péter pedig, a kinek szablyája vala, kirántá azt, és megüté a főpap szolgáját, és levágá annak jobb fülét. A szolga neve pedig Málkus vala.

Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.

Simon Petru, care avea o sabie, a scos-o, a lovit pe robul marelui preot şi i-a tăiat urechea dreaptă. Robul acela se numea Malhu.

Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant and cut off his right ear. (The servant’s name was Malchus.)

Jézus ekkor azt mondta Péternek: Tedd hüvelyébe a kardodat! Talán ne igyam ki azt a poharat, amelyet az Atya adott nekem?

Monda azért Jézus Péternek: Tedd hüvelyébe a te szablyádat; avagy nem kell-é kiinnom a pohárt, a melyet az Atya adott nékem?

Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?

Isus a zis lui Petru: „Bagă-ţi sabia în teacă. Nu voi bea paharul pe care Mi l-a dat Tatăl să-l beau?”

So Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword into its sheath; shall I not drink the cup that the Father has given me?”

Ekkor a csapat, az ezredes és a zsidók szolgái megfogták Jézust, és megkötözték.

A csapat azért és az ezredes és a zsidók szolgái megfogák Jézust, és megkötözék őt,

Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound him,

Ceata ostaşilor, căpitanul lor şi aprozii iudeilor au prins deci pe Isus şi L-au legat.

So the band of soldiers and their captain and the officers of the Jews arrested Jesus and bound him.

Először Annáshoz vitték, ő ugyanis apósa volt Kajafásnak, aki abban az esztendőben főpap volt.

És vivék őt először Annáshoz; mert ipa vala [ez] Kajafásnak, a ki abban az esztendőben főpap vala.

And led him away to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year.

L-au dus întâi la Ana; căci el era socrul lui Caiafa, care era mare preot în anul acela.

First they led him to Annas, for he was the father-in-law of Caiaphas, who was high priest that year.

Kajafás volt az, aki azt tanácsolta a zsidóknak, hogy jobb, ha egy ember hal meg a népért.

Kajafás pedig az vala, a ki tanácsolta vala a zsidóknak, hogy jobb, hogy egy ember veszszen el a népért.

Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.

Şi Caiafa era cel ce dăduse iudeilor sfatul acesta: „Este de folos să moară un singur om pentru norod.”

It was Caiaphas who had advised the Jews that it would be expedient that one man should die for the people.

Simon Péter pedig és egy másik tanítvány követte Jézust. Az a tanítvány pedig ismerőse volt a főpapnak, és bement Jézussal együtt a főpap udvarába,

Simon Péter pedig, és egy másik tanítvány követi vala Jézust. Ez a tanítvány pedig ismerős vala a főpappal, és beméne Jézussal együtt a főpap udvarába,

And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest.

Simon Petru mergea după Isus; tot aşa a făcut şi un alt ucenic. Ucenicul acesta era cunoscut de marele preot şi a intrat cu Isus în curtea marelui preot.

Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple. Since that disciple was known to the high priest, he entered with Jesus into the courtyard of the high priest,

Péter pedig kint állt az ajtónál. Kiment azért az a másik tanítvány, a főpap ismerőse, szólt az ajtónálló szolgálónak, és bevitte Pétert.

Péter pedig kívül áll vala az ajtónál. Kiméne azért ama másik tanítvány, a ki a főpappal ismerős vala, és szóla az ajtóőrzőnek, és bevivé Pétert.

But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple, which was known unto the high priest, and spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter.

Petru însă a rămas afară la uşă. Celălalt ucenic, care era cunoscut marelui preot, a ieşit afară, a vorbit cu portăriţa şi a băgat pe Petru înăuntru.

but Peter stood outside at the door. So the other disciple, who was known to the high priest, went out and spoke to the servant girl who kept watch at the door, and brought Peter in.

Az ajtónálló szolgálólány pedig azt kérdezte Pétertől: Nemde te is ennek az embernek a tanítványai közül való vagy? Ő pedig azt válaszolta: Nem vagyok.

Szóla azért Péterhez az ajtóőrző leány: Nemde, te is ez ember tanítványai közül való vagy? Monda ő: Nem vagyok.

Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also one of this man's disciples? He saith, I am not.

Atunci slujnica, portăriţa, a zis lui Petru: „Nu cumva şi tu eşti unul din ucenicii Omului acestuia?” „Nu sunt”, a răspuns el.

The servant girl at the door said to Peter, “You also are not one of this man’s disciples, are you?” He said, “I am not.”

A szolgák és a templomőrök ott álltak, s mivel hűvös volt, tüzet raktak, és melegedtek. Velük együtt ott állt Péter is, és melegedett.

A szolgák pedig és a poroszlók [ott] állnak vala, szítván a tüzet, mivelhogy hűvös vala, és melegszenek vala. [Ott] áll vala pedig Péter is ő velök együtt, és melegszik vala.

And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself.

Robii şi aprozii care erau acolo, făcuseră un foc de cărbuni, căci era frig, şi se încălzeau. Petru stătea şi el cu ei şi se încălzea.

Now the servants and officers had made a charcoal fire, because it was cold, and they were standing and warming themselves. Peter also was with them, standing and warming himself.

A főpap pedig tanítványai és tanítása felől faggatta Jézust.

A főpap azért kérdezé Jézust az ő tanítványai felől, és az ő tudománya felől.

The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine.

Marele preot a întrebat pe Isus despre ucenicii Lui şi despre învăţătura Lui.

The high priest then questioned Jesus about his disciples and his teaching.

Jézus így válaszolt: Én nyilvánosan szóltam a világhoz, és mindig a zsinagógában és a templomban tanítottam, ahol a zsidók mind összegyülekeznek; titokban semmit sem mondtam.

Felele néki Jézus: Én nyilván szólottam a világnak, én mindenkor tanítottam a zsinagógában és a templomban, a hol a zsidók mindenünnen összegyülekeznek; és titkon semmit sem szólottam.

Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.

Isus i-a răspuns: „Eu am vorbit lumii pe faţă; totdeauna am învăţat pe norod în sinagogă şi în Templu, unde se adună toţi iudeii, şi n-am spus nimic în ascuns.

Jesus answered him, “I have spoken openly to the world. I have always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where all Jews come together. I have said nothing in secret.

Miért engem kérdezel? Kérdezd azokat, akik hallották, amit nekik mondtam, ők bizonnyal tudják, mit mondtam.

Mit kérdesz engem? Kérdezd azokat, a kik hallották, mit szóltam nékik: ímé ők tudják, a miket nékik szólottam.

Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said.

Pentru ce Mă întrebi pe Mine? Întreabă pe cei ce M-au auzit despre ce le-am vorbit; iată, aceia ştiu ce am spus.”

Why do you ask me? Ask those who have heard me what I said to them; they know what I said.”

Amikor ezeket mondta, a templomszolgák egyike, aki ott állt, arcul ütötte Jézust, mondva: Így felelsz a főpapnak?

Mikor pedig ő ezeket mondja vala, egy a poroszlók közül, a ki ott áll vala, arczul üté Jézust, mondván: így felelsz-é a főpapnak?

And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so?

La auzul acestor cuvinte, unul din aprozii care stăteau acolo a dat o palmă lui Isus şi a zis: „Aşa răspunzi marelui preot?”

When he had said these things, one of the officers standing by struck Jesus with his hand, saying, “Is that how you answer the high priest?”

Jézus pedig azt mondta: Ha rosszul szóltam, bizonyítsd be a rosszat, ha pedig jól, miért versz engem?

Felele néki Jézus: Ha gonoszul szóltam, tégy bizonyságot a gonoszságról; ha pedig jól, miért versz engem.

Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me?

Isus i-a răspuns: „Dacă am vorbit rău, arată ce am spus rău; dar, dacă am vorbit bine, de ce mă baţi?”

Jesus answered him, “If what I said is wrong, bear witness about the wrong; but if what I said is right, why do you strike me?”

Annás akkor megkötözve elküldte őt Kajafáshoz, a főpaphoz.

Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest.

Simon Péter pedig ott állt és melegedett, amikor megkérdezték tőle: Nemde te is az ő tanítványai közül való vagy? Ő pedig tagadta, és azt mondta: Nem vagyok.

Simon Péter pedig [ott] áll vala és melegszik vala. Mondának azért néki: Nemde, te is ennek a tanítványai közül való vagy? Megtagadá ő, és monda: Nem vagyok.

And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore unto him, Art not thou also one of his disciples? He denied it, and said, I am not.

Simon Petru stătea acolo şi se încălzea. Ei i-au zis: „Nu cumva eşti şi tu unul din ucenicii Lui?” El s-a lepădat şi a zis: „Nu sunt.”

Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. So they said to him, “You also are not one of his disciples, are you?” He denied it and said, “I am not.”

Akkor a főpap egyik szolgája, rokona annak, akinek a fülét Péter levágta, azt kérdezte: Nem láttalak én téged vele együtt a kertben?

Monda egy a főpap szolgái közül, rokona annak, a kinek a fülét Péter levágta: Nem láttalak-e én téged ő vele együtt a kertben?

One of the servants of the high priest, being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off, saith, Did not I see thee in the garden with him?

Unul din robii marelui preot, rudă cu acela căruia îi tăiase Petru urechea, a zis: „Nu te-am văzut eu cu El în grădină?”

One of the servants of the high priest, a relative of the man whose ear Peter had cut off, asked, “Did I not see you in the garden with him?”

Péter ekkor ismét tagadott, és a kakas azonnal megszólalt.

Ismét megtagadá azért Péter; és a kakas azonnal megszólala.

Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crew.

Petru iar s-a lepădat. Şi îndată a cântat cocoşul.

Peter again denied it, and at once a rooster crowed.

Jézust pedig Kajafástól a helytartóságra vitték. Kora reggel volt. Akik vitték, nem mentek be a helytartóságra, nehogy tisztátalanokká legyenek, hogy meg tudják enni a húsvéti bárányt.

Vivék azért Jézust Kajafástól a törvényházba. Vala pedig reggel. És ők nem menének be a törvényházba, hogy meg ne fertőztessenek, hanem hogy megehessék a husvétibárányt.

Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.

Au adus pe Isus de la Caiafa în odaia de judecată: era dimineaţa. Ei n-au intrat în odaia de judecată, ca să nu se spurce şi să poată mânca Paştile.

Then they led Jesus from the house of Caiaphas to the governor’s headquarters. It was early morning. They themselves did not enter the governor’s headquarters, so that they would not be defiled, but could eat the Passover.

Kiment azért Pilátus hozzájuk, és azt kérdezte: Mivel vádoljátok ezt az embert?

Kiméne azért Pilátus ő hozzájok, és monda: Micsoda vádat hoztok fel ez ember ellen?

Pilate then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring ye against this man?

Pilat deci a ieşit afară la ei şi le-a zis: „Ce pâră aduceţi împotriva Omului acestuia?”

So Pilate went outside to them and said, “What accusation do you bring against this man?”

Azok így válaszoltak neki: Ha nem gonosztevő lenne, nem adtuk volna át neked.

Felelének és mondának néki: Ha gonosztevő nem volna ez, nem adtuk volna őt a te kezedbe.

They answered and said unto him, If he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up unto thee.

Drept răspuns, ei i-au zis: „Dacă n-ar fi fost un făcător de rele, nu L-am fi dat noi în mâinile tale.”

They answered him, “If this man were not doing evil, we would not have delivered him over to you.”

Akkor azt mondta nekik Pilátus: Vigyétek el, és ítéljétek meg a ti törvényetek szerint! A zsidók azonban így válaszoltak: Nekünk senkit sem szabad megölnünk.

Monda azért nékik Pilátus: Vigyétek el őt ti, és ítéljétek meg őt a ti törvényeitek szerint. Mondának azért néki a zsidók: Nékünk senkit sem szabad megölnünk;

Then said Pilate unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death:

Atunci Pilat le-a zis: „Luaţi-L voi şi judecaţi-L după Legea voastră.” „Nouă nu ne este îngăduit de Lege să omorâm pe nimeni”, i-au zis iudeii.

Pilate said to them, “Take him yourselves and judge him by your own law.” The Jews said to him, “It is not lawful for us to put anyone to death.”

Hogy beteljesedjék Jézus szava, amelyet akkor mondott, amikor jelezte, hogy milyen halállal kell meghalnia.

Hogy beteljesedjék a Jézus szava, a melyet monda, a mikor jelenti vala, hogy milyen halállal kell majd meghalnia.

That the saying of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spake, signifying what death he should die.

Aceasta s-a întâmplat ca să se împlinească vorba prin care arătase Isus cu ce moarte avea să moară.

This was to fulfill the word that Jesus had spoken to show by what kind of death he was going to die.

Pilátus ekkor visszament a helytartóságra, behívta Jézust, és azt kérdezte: Te vagy a zsidók királya?

Ismét beméne azért Pilátus a törvényházba, és szólítja vala Jézust, és monda néki: Te vagy a Zsidók királya?

Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?

Pilat a intrat iarăşi în odaia de judecată, a chemat pe Isus şi I-a zis: „Eşti Tu Împăratul iudeilor?”

So Pilate entered his headquarters again and called Jesus and said to him, “Are you the King of the Jews?”

Jézus így válaszolt: Magadtól mondod ezt, vagy mások mondták neked ezt rólam?

Felele néki Jézus: Magadtól mondod-é te ezt, vagy mások beszélték néked én felőlem?

Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me?

Isus i-a răspuns: „De la tine însuţi zici lucrul acesta sau ţi l-au spus alţii despre Mine?”

Jesus answered, “Do you say this of your own accord, or did others say it to you about me?”

Pilátus azt felelte: Tán zsidó vagyok én? A te néped és a főpapok adtak át téged az én kezembe. Mit cselekedtél?

Felele Pilátus: Avagy zsidó vagyok-e én? A te néped és a papifejedelmek adtak téged az én kezembe: mit cselekedtél?

Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done?

Pilat a răspuns: „Eu sunt iudeu? Neamul Tău şi preoţii cei mai de seamă Te-au dat în mâna mea: ce ai făcut?”

Pilate answered, “Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered you over to me. What have you done?”

Jézus így válaszolt: Az én országom nem e világból való. Ha e világból való volna az én országom, az én szolgáim vitézkednének, hogy át ne adassam a zsidóknak. Ámde az én országom nem innen való.

Felele Jézus: Az én országom nem e világból való. Ha e világból való volna az én országom, az én szolgáim vitézkednének, hogy át ne adassam a zsidóknak. Ámde az én országom nem innen való.

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

„Împărăţia Mea nu este din lumea aceasta”, a răspuns Isus. „Dacă ar fi Împărăţia Mea din lumea aceasta, slujitorii Mei s-ar fi luptat ca să nu fiu dat în mâinile iudeilor; dar acum, Împărăţia Mea nu este de aici.”

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.”

Ekkor azt mondta neki Pilátus: Tehát valóban király vagy? Jézus azt válaszolta: Te mondod, hogy én király vagyok. Én azért születtem, és azért jöttem e világra, hogy bizonyságot tegyek az igazságról. Mindaz, aki az igazságból való, hallgat az én szavamra.

Monda azért néki Pilátus: Király vagy-é hát te csakugyan? Felele Jézus: Te mondod, hogy én király vagyok. Én azért születtem, és azért jöttem e világra, hogy bizonyságot tegyek az igazságról. Mindaz, a ki az igazságból való, hallgat az én szómra.

Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

„Atunci un Împărat tot eşti!”, I-a zis Pilat. „Da”, a răspuns Isus. „Eu sunt Împărat. Eu pentru aceasta M-am născut şi am venit în lume, ca să mărturisesc despre adevăr. Oricine este din adevăr ascultă glasul Meu.”

Then Pilate said to him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.”

Pilátus azt kérdezte: Mi az igazság? És ahogy ezt mondta, ismét kiment a zsidókhoz, és így szólt hozzájuk: Én nem találok benne semmilyen bűnt.

Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.

Nálatok pedig az a szokás, hogy valakit szabadon bocsássak a húsvét ünnepén. Akarjátok azért, hogy elbocsássam nektek a zsidók királyát?

Szokás pedig az nálatok, hogy elbocsássak néktek egyet a husvétünnepen: akarjátok-é azért, hogy elbocsássam néktek a zsidók királyát?

But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the passover: will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews?

Erre mindnyájan kiáltoztak, és ismét azt mondták: Ne ezt, hanem Barabbást! Ez a Barabbás pedig rabló volt.

Kiáltának azért viszont mindnyájan, mondván: Nem ezt, hanem Barabbást. Ez a Barabbás pedig tolvaj vala.

Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.

Atunci toţi au strigat din nou: „Nu pe El, ci pe Baraba!” Şi Baraba era un tâlhar.
