When therefore the LORD knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,

Now when Jesus learned that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John

(Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,)

elhagyta Júdeát, és elment ismét Galileába.

Elhagyá Júdeát és elméne ismét Galileába.

He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee.

Atunci a părăsit Iudeea şi S-a întors în Galileea.

he left Judea and departed again for Galilee.

Samárián kellett átmennie.

Samárián kell vala pedig általmennie.

And he must needs go through Samaria.

Fiindcă trebuia să treacă prin Samaria,

And he had to pass through Samaria.

Így jutott el Samária Sikár nevű városába, közel ahhoz a helyhez, amelyet Jákób a fiának, Józsefnek adott.

Megy vala azért Samáriának Sikár nevű városába, annak a teleknek szomszédjába, a melyet Jákób adott vala az ő fiának, Józsefnek.

Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

a ajuns lângă o cetate din ţinutul Samariei, numită Sihar, aproape de ogorul pe care-l dăduse Iacov fiului său Iosif.

So he came to a town of Samaria called Sychar, near the field that Jacob had given to his son Joseph.

Ott volt Jákób forrása, és Jézus az utazástól elfáradva leült a forráshoz. Mintegy hat óra volt.

Ott vala pedig a Jákób forrása. Jézus azért, az utazástól elfáradva, azonmód leüle a forráshoz. Mintegy hat óra vala.

Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.

Acolo se afla fântâna lui Iacov. Isus, ostenit de călătorie, şedea lângă fântână. Era cam pe la ceasul al şaselea.

Jacob’s well was there; so Jesus, wearied as he was from his journey, was sitting beside the well. It was about the sixth hour.

Egy samáriai asszony jött vizet meríteni, s Jézus azt mondta neki: Adj innom!

Jöve egy samáriabeli asszony vizet meríteni; monda néki Jézus: Adj innom!

There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.

A venit o femeie din Samaria să scoată apă. „Dă-Mi să beau”, i-a zis Isus.

A woman from Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink.”

Tanítványai ugyanis elmentek a városba, hogy ennivalót vegyenek.

Az ő tanítványai ugyanis elmentek a városba, hogy ennivalót vegyenek.

(For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)

Căci ucenicii Lui se duseseră în cetate să cumpere de ale mâncării.

(For his disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.)

A samáriai asszony azt kérdezte tőle: Zsidó létedre hogyan kérhetsz inni tőlem, amikor én samáriai asszony vagyok? Mert a zsidók nem érintkeztek a samáriaiakkal.

Monda azért néki a samáriai asszony: Hogy kérhetsz inni zsidó létedre én tőlem, a ki samáriai asszony vagyok?! Mert a zsidók nem barátkoznak a samáriaiakkal.

Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.

Femeia samariteană I-a zis: „Cum Tu, iudeu, ceri să bei de la mine, femeie samariteană?” – Iudeii, în adevăr, n-au legături cu samaritenii. –

The Samaritan woman said to him, “How is it that you, a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a woman of Samaria?” (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)

Jézus így válaszolt: Ha ismernéd az Isten ajándékát, és hogy ki az, aki ezt mondja neked: „Adj innom!”, te kértél volna tőle, és ő adott volna neked élő vizet.

Felele Jézus és monda néki: Ha ismernéd az Isten ajándékát, és [hogy] ki az, a ki ezt mondja néked: Adj innom!; te kérted volna őt, és adott volna néked élő vizet.

Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

Drept răspuns, Isus i-a zis: „Dacă ai fi cunoscut tu darul lui Dumnezeu şi Cine este Cel ce-ţi zice: „Dă-Mi să beau!”, tu singură ai fi cerut să bei, şi El ţi-ar fi dat apă vie.”

Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, ‘Give me a drink,’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.”

Azt mondta az asszony: Uram, nincs mivel merítened, és a kút mély, honnan vennéd az élő vizet?

Monda néki az asszony: Uram, nincs mivel merítened, és a kút mély: hol vennéd tehát az élő vizet?

The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?

„Doamne”, I-a zis femeia, „n-ai cu ce să scoţi apă, şi fântâna este adâncă; de unde ai putea să ai, dar, această apă vie?

The woman said to him, “Sir, you have nothing to draw water with, and the well is deep. Where do you get that living water?

Te talán nagyobb vagy atyánknál, Jákóbnál, aki ezt a kutat nekünk adta, és aki maga is ebből ivott, csakúgy, mint fiai és jószágai?

Avagy nagyobb vagy-é te a mi atyánknál, Jákóbnál, a ki nékünk adta ezt a kutat, és ebből ivott ő is, a fiai is és jószága is?

Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?

Eşti Tu oare mai mare decât părintele nostru Iacov, care ne-a dat fântâna aceasta şi a băut din ea el însuşi şi feciorii lui şi vitele lui?”

Are you greater than our father Jacob? He gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did his sons and his livestock.”

Jézus így válaszolt neki: Mindaz, aki ebből a vízből iszik, ismét megszomjazik,

Felele Jézus és monda néki: Mindaz, a ki ebből a vízből iszik, ismét megszomjúhozik:

Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:

Isus i-a răspuns: „Oricui bea din apa aceasta îi va fi iarăşi sete.

Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again,

aki pedig abból a vízből iszik, amelyet én adok neki, soha többé meg nem szomjazik, mert az a víz, amelyet én adok, örök életre buzgó víz forrása lesz benne.

Valaki pedig abból a vízből iszik, a melyet én adok néki, soha örökké meg nem szomjúhozik; hanem az a víz, a melyet én adok néki, örök életre buzgó víznek kútfeje lesz ő benne.

But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

Dar oricui va bea din apa pe care i-o voi da Eu, în veac nu-i va fi sete; ba încă, apa pe care i-o voi da Eu se va preface în el într-un izvor de apă care va ţâşni în viaţa veşnică.”

but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

Mire az asszony azt mondta neki: Uram, add nekem ezt a vizet, hogy ne szomjazzam meg, és ne járjak ide meríteni!

Monda néki az asszony: Uram, add nékem azt a vizet, hogy meg ne szomjúhozzam, és ne jőjjek ide meríteni!

The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.

„Doamne”, I-a zis femeia, „dă-mi această apă, ca să nu-mi mai fie sete şi să nu mai vin până aici să scot.”

The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water, so that I will not be thirsty or have to come here to draw water.”

Erre azt válaszolta Jézus: Menj, hívd a férjedet, és jöjj ide!

Monda néki Jézus: Menj el, hívd a férjedet, és jőjj ide!

Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.

„Du-te”, i-a zis Isus, „de cheamă pe bărbatul tău şi vino aici”.

Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here.”

Az asszony így szólt: Nincs férjem. Jézus ekkor azt mondta neki: Jól mondtad, hogy nincs férjed,

Felele az asszony és monda: Nincs férjem. Monda néki Jézus: Jól mondád, hogy: Nincs férjem;

The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:

Femeia I-a răspuns: „N-am bărbat.” Isus i-a zis: „Bine ai zis că n-ai bărbat.

The woman answered him, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You are right in saying, ‘I have no husband’;

mert öt férjed volt, és a mostani nem férjed, ebben igazat mondtál.

Mert öt férjed volt, és a mostani nem férjed: ezt igazán mondtad.

For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.

Pentru că cinci bărbaţi ai avut; şi acela pe care-l ai acum nu-ţi este bărbat. Aici ai spus adevărul.”

for you have had five husbands, and the one you now have is not your husband. What you have said is true.”

Az asszony így válaszolt: Uram, látom, hogy te próféta vagy.

Monda néki az asszony: Uram, látom, hogy te próféta vagy.

The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

„Doamne”, I-a zis femeia, „văd că eşti proroc.

The woman said to him, “Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet.

A mi atyáink ezen a hegyen imádták Istent, ti pedig azt mondjátok, hogy Jeruzsálemben van az a hely, ahol Istent imádni kell.

A mi atyáink ezen a hegyen imádkoztak; és ti azt mondjátok, hogy Jeruzsálemben van az a hely, a hol imádkozni kell.

Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.

Părinţii noştri s-au închinat pe muntele acesta; şi voi ziceţi că în Ierusalim este locul unde trebuie să se închine oamenii.”

Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship.”

Jézus azt mondta neki: Asszony, hidd el nekem, hogy eljön az óra, amikor nem is ezen a hegyen, nem is Jeruzsálemben fogjátok imádni az Atyát.

Monda néki Jézus: Asszony, hidd el nékem, hogy eljő az óra, a mikor sem nem ezen a hegyen, sem nem Jeruzsálemben imádjátok az Atyát.

Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

„Femeie”, i-a zis Isus, „crede-Mă că vine ceasul când nu vă veţi închina Tatălui, nici pe muntele acesta, nici în Ierusalim.

Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.

Ti azt imádjátok, akit nem ismertek, mi azt imádjuk, akit ismerünk, mert az üdvösség a zsidók közül támad.

Ti azt imádjátok, a mit nem ismertek; mi azt imádjuk, a mit ismerünk: mert az idvesség a zsidók közül támadt.

Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

Voi vă închinaţi la ce nu cunoaşteţi; noi ne închinăm la ce cunoaştem, căci Mântuirea vine de la iudei.

You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews.

De eljön az óra, és az most van, amikor az igazi imádók lélekben és igazságban imádják az Atyát, mert az Atya is ilyen imádókat keres magának.

De eljő az óra, és az most vagyon, amikor az igazi imádók lélekben, és igazságban imádják az Atyát: mert az Atya is ilyeneket keres, az ő imádóiul.

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

Dar vine ceasul, şi acum a şi venit, când închinătorii adevăraţi se vor închina Tatălui în duh şi în adevăr; fiindcă astfel de închinători doreşte şi Tatăl.

But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.

Az Isten Lélek, és akik őt imádják, azoknak lélekben és igazságban kell őt imádniuk.

Az Isten lélek: és a kik őt imádják, szükség, hogy lélekben és igazságban imádják.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Dumnezeu este Duh; şi cine se închină Lui trebuie să I se închine în duh şi în adevăr.”

God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Azt mondta neki az asszony: Tudom, hogy Messiás jön, akit Krisztusnak neveznek, és amikor ő eljön, mindent megjelent nekünk.

Monda néki az asszony: Tudom, hogy Messiás jő (a ki Krisztusnak mondatik); mikor az eljő, megjelent nékünk mindent.

The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.

„Ştiu”, I-a zis femeia, „că are să vină Mesia (căruia I se zice Hristos); când va veni El, are să ne spună toate lucrurile.”

The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, he will tell us all things.”

Jézus azt válaszolta: Én vagyok az, aki veled beszélek.

Monda néki Jézus: Én vagyok az, a ki veled beszélek.

Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

Isus i-a zis: „Eu, Cel care vorbesc cu tine, sunt Acela.”

Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am he.”

Közben megjöttek a tanítványai, és csodálkoztak, hogy egy asszonnyal beszél, de egyikük sem mondta: „Mit akarsz?” vagy „Mit beszélsz vele?”

Eközben megjövének az ő tanítványai; és csodálkozának, hogy asszonnyal beszélt; mindazáltal egyik sem mondá: Mit keresel? vagy: Mit beszélsz vele?

And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?

Atunci au venit ucenicii Lui şi se mirau că vorbea cu o femeie. Totuşi niciunul nu I-a zis: „Ce cauţi?” sau: „Despre ce vorbeşti cu ea?”

Just then his disciples came back. They marveled that he was talking with a woman, but no one said, “What do you seek?” or, “Why are you talking with her?”

Akkor az asszony otthagyta a vizeskorsóját, elment a városba, és azt mondta az embereknek:

Ott hagyá azért az asszony a vedrét, és elméne a városba, és monda az embereknek:

The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,

Atunci femeia şi-a lăsat găleata, s-a dus în cetate şi a zis oamenilor:

So the woman left her water jar and went away into town and said to the people,

Gyertek, lássatok egy embert, aki mindent megmondott nekem, amit cselekedtem. Vajon nem ez a Krisztus?

Jertek, lássatok egy embert, a ki megmonda nékem mindent, a mit cselekedtem. Nem ez-é a Krisztus?

Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?

„Veniţi de vedeţi un Om care mi-a spus tot ce am făcut; nu cumva este Acesta Hristosul?”

“Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?”

Kijöttek azért a városból, és odamentek hozzá.

Kimenének azért a városból, és hozzá menének.

Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.

Ei au ieşit din cetate şi veneau spre El.

They went out of the town and were coming to him.

31

Közben a tanítványai kérlelték: Mester, egyél!

Aközben pedig kérék őt a tanítványok, mondván: Mester, egyél!

In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.

În timpul acesta, ucenicii Îl rugau să mănânce şi ziceau: „Învăţătorule, mănâncă!”

Meanwhile the disciples were urging him, saying, “Rabbi, eat.”

Ő pedig azt mondta nekik: Van nekem eledelem, amit egyem, amiről ti nem tudtok.

Ő pedig monda nékik: Van nékem eledelem, a mit egyem, a mit ti nem tudtok.

But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.

Dar El le-a zis: „Eu am de mâncat o mâncare pe care voi n-o cunoaşteţi.”

But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you do not know about.”

A tanítványok ekkor azt kérdezték egymástól: Netán valaki hozott neki enni?

Mondának azért a tanítványok egymásnak: Hozott-é néki valaki enni?

Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat?

Ucenicii au început să-şi zică deci unii altora: „Nu cumva I-a adus cineva să mănânce?”

So the disciples said to one another, “Has anyone brought him something to eat?”

Jézus pedig azt mondta nekik: Az én eledelem az, hogy annak akaratát tegyem, aki elküldött engem, és az ő munkáját elvégezzem.

Monda nékik Jézus: Az én eledelem az, hogy annak akaratját cselekedjem, a ki elküldött engem, és az ő dolgát elvégezzem.

Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

Isus le-a zis: „Mâncarea Mea este să fac voia Celui ce M-a trimis şi să împlinesc lucrarea Lui.

Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work.

Ti nem azt mondjátok, hogy még négy hónap, és eljön az aratás? Íme, mondom nektek: emeljétek fel szemeteket, és nézzétek meg a mezőket, hogy már fehérek az aratásra.

Ti nem azt mondjátok-é, hogy még négy hónap és eljő az aratás? Ímé, mondom néktek: Emeljétek fel szemeiteket, és lássátok meg a tájékokat, hogy már fehérek az aratásra.

Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

Nu ziceţi voi că mai sunt patru luni până la seceriş? Iată, Eu vă spun: ridicaţi-vă ochii şi priviţi holdele care sunt albe acum, gata pentru seceriş.

Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest.

Az arató már most megkapja jutalmát, és begyűjti a termést az örök életre, hogy együtt örüljön magvető és arató.

És a ki arat, jutalmat nyer, és az örök életre gyümölcsöt gyűjt; hogy mind a vető, mind az arató együtt örvendezzen.

And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.

Cine seceră primeşte o plată şi strânge rod pentru viaţa veşnică; pentru ca şi cel ce seamănă şi cel ce seceră să se bucure în acelaşi timp.

Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together.

Mert ebben az esetben igaz a mondás, hogy más a vető, és más az arató.

Mert ebben az a mondás igaz, hogy más a vető, más az arató.

And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.

Căci, în această privinţă, este adevărată zicerea: „Unul seamănă, iar altul seceră.”

For here the saying holds true, ‘One sows and another reaps.’

Én annak az aratására küldtelek titeket, amin nem ti fáradoztatok: azon mások dolgoztak, és ti mások munkájába álltatok be.

Én annak az aratására küldtelek titeket, a mit nem ti munkáltatok; mások munkálták, és ti a mások munkájába állottatok.

I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.

Eu v-am trimis să seceraţi acolo unde nu voi v-aţi ostenit; alţii s-au ostenit, şi voi aţi intrat în osteneala lor.”

I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.”

Abból a városból pedig sokan hittek benne a samáriaiak közül annak az asszonynak a beszédéért, aki így tett bizonyságot: Mindent megmondott nekem, amit cselekedtem.

Abból a városból pedig sokan hivének benne a Samaritánusok közül annak az asszonynak beszédéért, a ki bizonyságot tett vala, hogy: Mindent megmondott nékem, a mit cselekedtem.

And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.

Mulţi samariteni din cetatea aceea au crezut în Isus din pricina mărturiei femeii, care zicea: „Mi-a spus tot ce am făcut.”

Many Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me all that I ever did.”

Úgyhogy amikor odamentek hozzá a samáriaiak, arra kérték őt, hogy maradjon náluk. Ott is maradt két napig.

A mint azért oda mentek hozzá a Samaritánusok, kérék őt, hogy maradjon náluk; és ott marada két napig.

So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days.

Când au venit samaritenii la El, L-au rugat să rămână la ei. Şi El a rămas acolo două zile.

So when the Samaritans came to him, they asked him to stay with them, and he stayed there two days.

41

Az ő beszédére pedig még többen hittek,

És sokkal többen hivének a maga beszédéért,

And many more believed because of his own word;

Mult mai mulţi au crezut în El din pricina cuvintelor Lui.

And many more believed because of his word.

42

és mondták is az asszonynak: Már nem a te beszédedért hiszünk, hanem mert magunk is hallottuk, és tudjuk, hogy bizonnyal ő a világ üdvözítője.

És azt mondják vala az asszonynak, hogy: Nem a te beszédedért hiszünk immár: mert magunk hallottuk, és tudjuk, hogy bizonnyal ez a világ idvezítője, a Krisztus.

And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

Şi ziceau femeii: „Acum nu mai credem din pricina spuselor tale, ci din pricină că L-am auzit noi înşine şi ştim că Acesta este în adevăr Hristosul, Mântuitorul lumii.”

They said to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this is indeed the Savior of the world.”

Két nap múlva pedig továbbment Galileába,

Két nap mulva pedig kiméne onnét, és elméne Galileába.

Now after two days he departed thence, and went into Galilee.

După aceste două zile, Isus a plecat de acolo, ca să Se ducă în Galileea.

After the two days he departed for Galilee.

jóllehet maga Jézus tett bizonyságot arról, hogy a prófétának nincs becsülete a saját hazájában.

Mert Jézus maga tett bizonyságot arról, hogy a prófétának nincs tisztessége a maga hazájában.

For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country.

Căci El însuşi spusese că un proroc nu este preţuit în patria sa.

(For Jesus himself had testified that a prophet has no honor in his own hometown.)

Amikor megérkezett Galileába, a galileaiak befogadták, mivel látták mindazt, amit Jeruzsálemben az ünnepen tett, mert ők is elmentek az ünnepre.

Mikor azért beméne Galileába, befogadták őt a Galileabeliek, mivelhogy látták vala mindazt, a mit Jeruzsálemben cselekedett az ünnepen; mert ők is elmentek vala az ünnepre.

Then when he was come into Galilee, the Galilaeans received him, having seen all the things that he did at Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast.

Când a ajuns în Galileea, a fost primit bine de galileeni, care văzuseră tot ce făcuse la Ierusalim în timpul praznicului; căci fuseseră şi ei la praznic.

So when he came to Galilee, the Galileans welcomed him, having seen all that he had done in Jerusalem at the feast. For they too had gone to the feast.

Ismét a galileai Kánába ment Jézus, ahol a vizet borrá változtatta. Kapernaumban pedig volt egy királyi tisztviselő, akinek beteg volt a fia.

Ismét a galileai Kánába méne azért Jézus, a hol a vizet borrá változtatta. És volt Kapernaumban egy királyi ember, a kinek a fia beteg vala.

So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum.

Isus S-a întors deci în Cana din Galileea, unde prefăcuse apa în vin. În Capernaum era un slujbaş împărătesc al cărui fiu era bolnav.

So he came again to Cana in Galilee, where he had made the water wine. And at Capernaum there was an official whose son was ill.

Amikor ez meghallotta, hogy Jézus Júdeából Galileába érkezett, elment hozzá, és arra kérte, hogy jöjjön, és gyógyítsa meg a fiát, mert halálán volt.

Mikor ez meghallá, hogy Jézus Júdeából Galileába érkezett, hozzá méne és kéré őt, hogy menjen el és gyógyítsa meg az ő fiát; mert halálán vala.

When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death.

Slujbaşul acesta a aflat că Isus venise din Iudeea în Galileea, s-a dus la El şi L-a rugat să vină şi să tămăduiască pe fiul lui care era pe moarte.

When this man heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went to him and asked him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.

Akkor azt mondta neki Jézus: Ha jeleket és csodákat nem láttok, nem hisztek.

Monda azért néki Jézus: Ha jeleket és csodákat nem láttok, nem hisztek.

Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.

Isus i-a zis: „Dacă nu vedeţi semne şi minuni, cu niciun chip nu credeţi!”

So Jesus said to him, “Unless you see signs and wonders you will not believe.”

A királyi tisztviselő azt mondta: Uram, jöjj, mielőtt a gyermekem meghal!

Monda néki a királyi ember: Uram, jőjj, mielőtt a gyermekem meghal.

The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die.

Slujbaşul împărătesc I-a zis: „Doamne, vino până nu moare micuţul meu.”

The official said to him, “Sir, come down before my child dies.”

Jézus így felelt: Menj el, a te fiad él! Hitt az ember a szónak, amelyet Jézus mondott neki, és elment.

Monda néki Jézus: Menj el, a te fiad él. És hitt az ember a szónak, a mit Jézus mondott néki, és elment.

Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken unto him, and he went his way.

„Du-te”, i-a zis Isus, „fiul tău trăieşte.” Şi omul acela a crezut cuvintele pe care i le spusese Isus şi a pornit la drum.

Jesus said to him, “Go; your son will live.” The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and went on his way.

Még úton volt, amikor elébe jöttek szolgái, és hozták a hírt, hogy a fia él.

A mint pedig már megy vala, elébe jövének az ő szolgái, és hírt hozának néki, mondván, hogy: A te fiad él.

And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth.

Pe când se cobora el, l-au întâmpinat robii lui şi i-au adus vestea că fiul lui trăieşte.

As he was going down, his servants met him and told him that his son was recovering.

Megtudakolta tőlük az órát, amikor jobban lett, és azt mondták neki, hogy előző nap hét órakor hagyta el a láz.

Megtudakozá azért tőlük az órát, a melyben megkönnyebbedett vala; és mondának néki: Tegnap hét órakor hagyta el őt a láz;

Then enquired he of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.

El i-a întrebat de ceasul în care a început să-i fie mai bine. Şi ei i-au zis: „Ieri, în ceasul al şaptelea, l-au lăsat frigurile.”

So he asked them the hour when he began to get better, and they said to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.”

Ebből az apa megértette, hogy ez abban az órában történt, amikor azt mondta neki Jézus, hogy „a te fiad él”. És hitt ő és egész házanépe.

Megérté azért az atya, hogy abban az órában, a melyben azt mondá néki a Jézus, hogy: a te fiad él. És hitt ő, és az ő egész háza népe.

So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house.

Tatăl a cunoscut că tocmai în ceasul acela îi zisese Isus: „Fiul tău trăieşte.” Şi a crezut el şi toată casa lui.

The father knew that was the hour when Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live.” And he himself believed, and all his household.

Ez már a második jel volt, amelyet Jézus tett, amint Júdeából Galileába jött.

Ezt ismét második jel gyanánt tevé Jézus, mikor Júdeából Galileába ment.

This is again the second miracle that Jesus did, when he was come out of Judaea into Galilee.

Acesta este iarăşi al doilea semn făcut de Isus după ce S-a întors din Iudeea în Galileea.

This was now the second sign that Jesus did when he had come from Judea to Galilee.
