Ezek után Jézus felment Jeruzsálembe a zsidók egyik ünnepére.

After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.

Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, in Aramaic called Bethesda, which has five roofed colonnades.

Ezekben feküvék a betegek, vakok, sánták, aszkórosok nagy sokasága, várva a víznek megmozdulását.

In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.

În pridvoarele acestea zăceau o mulţime de bolnavi, orbi, şchiopi, uscaţi, care aşteptau mişcarea apei.

In these lay a multitude of invalids—blind, lame, and paralyzed.

Mert az Úr angyala időnként leszállt, felzavarta a vizet, és aki először lépett be a víz felzavarása után, meggyógyult, akármilyen betegségben szenvedett is.

Mert időnként angyal szálla a tóra, és felzavará a vizet: a ki tehát először lépett bele a víz felzavarása után, meggyógyult, akárminémű betegségben volt.

For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

Căci un înger al Domnului se cobora, din când în când, în scăldătoare şi tulbura apa. Şi cel dintâi care se cobora în ea, după tulburarea apei, se făcea sănătos, orice boală ar fi avut.

One man was there who had been an invalid for thirty-eight years.

And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.

Acolo se afla un om bolnav de treizeci şi opt de ani.

When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be healed?”

Ahogy Jézus ott feküdni látta, és megtudta, hogy már régóta így van, azt mondta neki: Akarsz-e meggyógyulni?

Ezt a mint látta Jézus, hogy ott fekszik, és megtudta, hogy már sok idő óta [úgy] van; monda néki: Akarsz-é meggyógyulni?

When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

Isus, când l-a văzut zăcând, şi fiindcă ştia că este bolnav de multă vreme, i-a zis: „Vrei să te faci sănătos?”

The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going another steps down before me.”

A beteg így felelt: Uram, nincs emberem, hogy amikor a víz felzavarodik, bevigyen engem a medencébe, és mire én odaérek, más lép be előttem.

Felele néki a beteg: Uram, nincs emberem, hogy a mikor a víz felzavarodik, bevigyen engem a tóba; és mire én oda érek, más lép be előttem.

The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.

„Doamne”, I-a răspuns bolnavul, „n-am pe nimeni să mă bage în scăldătoare când se tulbură apa; şi, până să mă duc eu, se coboară altul înaintea mea.”

Jesus said to him, “Get up, take up your bed, and walk.”

Azt mondta neki Jézus: Kelj fel, vedd fel a nyoszolyádat, és járj!

Monda néki Jézus: Kelj fel, vedd fel a te nyoszolyádat, és járj!

Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

„Scoală-te”, i-a zis Isus, „ridică-ţi patul şi umblă.”

And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked. Now that day was the Sabbath.

És azonnal meggyógyult az ember, és felvette a nyoszolyáját, és járt. Aznap pedig szombat volt.

És azonnal meggyógyula az ember, és felvevé nyoszolyáját, és jár vala. Aznap pedig szombat vala.

And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

Îndată omul acela s-a făcut sănătos, şi-a luat patul şi umbla. Ziua aceea era o zi de Sabat.

So the Jews said to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath, and it is not lawful for you to take up your bed.”

A zsidók azért azt mondták a meggyógyultnak: Szombat van, nem szabad a nyoszolyádat vinned!

Mondának azért a zsidók a meggyógyultnak: Szombat van, nem szabad néked a nyoszolyádat hordanod!

The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.

Iudeii ziceau deci celui ce fusese vindecat: „Este ziua Sabatului; nu-ţi este îngăduit să-ţi ridici patul.”

But he answered them, “The man who healed me, that man said to me, ‘Take up your bed, and walk.’”

Erre azt felelte nekik: Aki meggyógyított engem, az mondta: „Vedd fel a nyoszolyádat, és járj!”

Felele nékik: A ki meggyógyított engem, az mondá nékem: Vedd fel a nyoszolyádat, és járj.

He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.

El le-a răspuns: „Cel ce m-a făcut sănătos mi-a zis: „Ridică-ţi patul şi umblă.”

They asked him, “Who is the man who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk’?”

Megkérdezték tőle: Ki az az ember, aki azt mondta neked, hogy vedd fel és járj?

Megkérdék azért őt: Ki az az ember, a ki mondá néked: Vedd fel a nyoszolyádat, és járj?

Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk?

Ei l-au întrebat: „Cine este Omul acela care ţi-a zis: „Ridică-ţi patul şi umblă”?”

Now the man who had been healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, as there was a crowd in the place.

A meggyógyult pedig nem tudta, hogy ki az, Jézus ugyanis elment onnan, mert ott nagy sokadalom volt.

A meggyógyult pedig nem tudja vala, hogy ki az; mert Jézus félre vonult, sokaság lévén azon a helyen.

And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.

Dar cel vindecat nu ştia cine este: căci Isus Se făcuse nevăzut din norodul care era în locul acela.

Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “See, you are well! Sin no more, that nothing worse may happen to you.”

Később találkozott vele Jézus a templomban, és azt mondta neki: Látod, meggyógyultál, többet azért ne vétkezz, hogy rosszabbul ne legyen dolgod!

Ezek után találkozék vele Jézus a templomban, és monda néki: Ímé meggyógyultál; többé ne vétkezzél, hogy rosszabbul ne legyen dolgod!

Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

După aceea Isus l-a găsit în Templu şi i-a zis: „Iată că te-ai făcut sănătos; de acum să nu mai păcătuieşti, ca să nu ţi se întâmple ceva mai rău.”

The man went away and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had healed him.

Elment ez az ember, és hírül vitte a zsidóknak, hogy Jézus az, aki őt meggyógyította.

Elméne az az ember, és hírül adá a zsidóknak, hogy Jézus az, a ki őt meggyógyította.

The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.

Omul acela s-a dus şi a spus iudeilor că Isus este Acela care-l făcuse sănătos.

And this was why the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because he was doing these things on the Sabbath.

Ezért a zsidók üldözni kezdték Jézust, mert ezt tette szombaton.

És e miatt üldözőbe vevék a zsidók Jézust, és meg akarák őt ölni, hogy ezeket művelte szombaton.

And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.

Din pricina aceasta, iudeii au început să urmărească pe Isus şi căutau să-L omoare, fiindcă făcea aceste lucruri în ziua Sabatului.

But Jesus answered them, “My Father is working until now, and I am working.”

But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.

Dar Isus le-a răspuns: „Tatăl Meu lucrează până acum; şi Eu, de asemenea, lucrez.”

This was why the Jews were seeking all the more to kill him, because not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.

Emiatt aztán a zsidók még inkább meg akarták ölni, mivel nemcsak megszegte a szombatot, hanem Istent is tulajdon Atyjának nevezte, és így egyenlővé tette magát Istennel.

E miatt aztán még inkább meg akarák őt ölni a zsidók, mivel nem csak a szombatot rontotta meg, hanem az Istent is saját Atyjának mondotta, egyenlővé tévén magát az Istennel.

Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

Tocmai de aceea căutau şi mai mult iudeii să-L omoare, nu numai fiindcă dezlega ziua Sabatului, dar şi pentru că zicea că Dumnezeu este Tatăl Său şi Se făcea astfel deopotrivă cu Dumnezeu.

So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.

Jézus ekkor így válaszolt nekik: Bizony, bizony mondom nektek, a Fiú önmagától semmit sem tehet, ő csak azt teszi, amit Atyjától lát, mert amiket ő tesz, a Fiú is ugyanazt teszi.

Felele azért Jézus, és monda nékik: Bizony, bizony mondom néktek: a Fiú semmit sem tehet önmagától, hanem ha látja cselekedni az Atyát, mert a miket az cselekszik, ugyanazokat hasonlatosképen a Fiú is cselekszi.

Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

Isus a luat din nou cuvântul şi le-a zis: „Adevărat, adevărat vă spun că Fiul nu poate face nimic de la Sine; El nu face decât ce vede pe Tatăl făcând; şi tot ce face Tatăl face şi Fiul întocmai.

For the Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing. And greater works than these will he show him, so that you may marvel.

Mert az Atya szereti a Fiút, és mindent megmutat neki, amit tesz, és ezeknél nagyobb dolgokat is mutat majd neki, hogy csodálkozzatok.

For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.

Căci Tatăl iubeşte pe Fiul şi-I arată tot ce face; şi-I va arăta lucrări mai mari decât acestea, ca voi să vă minunaţi.

For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will.

Mert ahogyan az Atya feltámasztja a halottakat, és életre kelti őket, úgy a Fiú is, akiket akar, életre kelt.

Mert a mint az Atya feltámasztja a halottakat és megeleveníti, úgy a Fiú is a kiket akar, megelevenít.

For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.

În adevăr, după cum Tatăl învie morţii şi le dă viaţă, tot aşa şi Fiul dă viaţă cui vrea.

For the Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son,

És az Atya nem ítél senkit, hanem az ítéletet is teljesen a Fiúnak adta át,

Mert az Atya nem ítél senkit, hanem az ítéletet egészen a Fiúnak adta;

For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

Tatăl nici nu judecă pe nimeni, ci toată judecata a dat-o Fiului,

that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

hogy mindenki úgy tisztelje a Fiút, ahogyan az Atyát tisztelik. Aki nem tiszteli a Fiút, nem tiszteli az Atyát sem, aki elküldte őt.

Hogy mindenki úgy tisztelje a Fiút, miként tisztelik az Atyát. A ki nem tiszteli a Fiút, nem tiszteli az Atyát, a ki elküldte őt.

That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

pentru ca toţi să cinstească pe Fiul cum cinstesc pe Tatăl. Cine nu cinsteşte pe Fiul, nu cinsteşte pe Tatăl, care L-a trimis.

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

Bizony, bizony mondom nektek, hogy aki az én beszédemet hallja, és hisz annak, aki engem elküldött, örök élete van, és nem jut ítéletre, hanem már átment a halálból az életre.

Bizony, bizony mondom néktek, hogy a ki az én beszédemet hallja és hisz annak, a ki engem elbocsátott, örök élete van; és nem megy a kárhozatra, hanem általment a halálból az életre.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Adevărat, adevărat vă spun că cine ascultă cuvintele Mele şi crede în Cel ce M-a trimis are viaţa veşnică şi nu vine la judecată, ci a trecut din moarte la viaţă.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.

Bizony, bizony mondom nektek, hogy eljön az óra, és az most van, amikor a halottak hallják az Isten Fiának hangját, és akik hallják, élni fognak.

Bizony, bizony mondom néktek, hogy eljő az idő, és az most vagyon, mikor a halottak hallják az Isten Fiának szavát, és a kik hallják, élnek.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

Adevărat, adevărat vă spun că vine ceasul, şi acum a şi venit, când cei morţi vor auzi glasul Fiului lui Dumnezeu, şi cei ce-l vor asculta vor învia.

For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself.

Mert ahogy az Atyának élete van önmagában, úgy a Fiúnak is megadta, hogy élete legyen önmagában,

Mert a miként az Atyának élete van önmagában, akként adta a Fiúnak is, hogy élete legyen önmagában:

For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

Căci, după cum Tatăl are viaţa în Sine, tot aşa a dat şi Fiului să aibă viaţa în Sine.

And he has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.

és hatalmat adott neki arra, hogy ítéletet tartson, mert ő az Emberfia.

És hatalmat ada néki az ítélettételre is, mivelhogy embernek fia.

And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

Şi I-a dat putere să judece, întrucât este Fiu al omului.

Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice

Ne csodálkozzatok ezen, mert eljön az óra, amelyben mindazok, akik a sírban vannak, meghallják az ő hangját,

Ne csodálkozzatok ezen: mert eljő az óra, a melyben mindazok, a kik a koporsókban vannak, meghallják az ő szavát,

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

Nu vă miraţi de lucrul acesta; pentru că vine ceasul când toţi cei din morminte vor auzi glasul Lui

and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.

és kijönnek. Akik a jót cselekedték, feltámadnak az életre, akik pedig a gonoszt művelték, feltámadnak az ítéletre.

És kijőnek; a kik a jót cselekedték, az élet feltámadására; a kik pedig a gonoszt művelték, a kárhozat feltámadására.

And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

şi vor ieşi afară din ele. Cei ce au făcut binele vor învia pentru viaţă; iar cei ce au făcut răul vor învia pentru judecată.

“I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me.

Én semmit sem tehetek magamtól; amint hallok, úgy ítélek, és az én ítéletem igazságos, mert nem a magam akaratát keresem, hanem annak az akaratát, aki elküldött engem.

Én semmit sem cselekedhetem magamtól; a mint hallok, úgy ítélek, és az én ítéletem igazságos; mert nem a magam akaratát keresem, hanem annak akaratát, a ki elküldött engem, az Atyáét.

I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

Eu nu pot face nimic de la Mine însumi: judec după cum aud; şi judecata Mea este dreaptă, pentru că nu caut să fac voia Mea, ci voia Tatălui, care M-a trimis.

If I alone bear witness about myself, my testimony is not true.

Ha én magamról tanúskodom, tanúságtételem nem igaz.

Ha én teszek bizonyságot magamról, az én bizonyságtételem nem igaz.

If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.

Dacă Eu mărturisesc despre Mine însumi, mărturia Mea nu este adevărată.

There is another who bears witness about me, and I know that the testimony that he bears about me is true.

Más az, aki tanúskodik mellettem, és tudom, hogy igaz az a tanúságtétel, amellyel tanúskodik mellettem.

Más az, a ki bizonyságot tesz rólam; és tudom, hogy igaz az a bizonyságtétel, a melylyel bizonyságot tesz rólam.

There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.

Este un Altul care mărturiseşte despre Mine; şi ştiu că mărturisirea pe care o face El despre Mine este adevărată.

You sent to John, and he has borne witness to the truth.

Ti küldötteket menesztettetek Jánoshoz, és ő bizonyságot tett az igazságról.

Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth.

Voi aţi trimis la Ioan, şi el a mărturisit pentru adevăr.

Not that the testimony that I receive is from man, but I say these things so that you may be saved.

Én a tanúságtételt nem embertől kapom – ezeket csak azért mondom, hogy ti üdvözüljetek.

De én nem embertől nyerem a bizonyságtételt; hanem ezeket azért mondom, hogy ti megtartassatok.

But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved.

Nu că mărturia pe care o primesc Eu vine de la un om; dar spun lucrurile acestea pentru ca să fiţi mântuiţi.

He was a burning and shining lamp, and you were willing to rejoice for a while in his light.

Ő égő és fénylő lámpa volt, de ti csak egy ideig akartatok örvendezni világosságában.

Ő az égő és fénylő szövétnek vala, ti pedig csak egy ideig akartatok örvendezni az ő világosságában.

He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.

Ioan era lumina care este aprinsă şi luminează, şi voi aţi vrut să vă înveseliţi câtăva vreme la lumina lui.

But the testimony that I have is greater than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to accomplish, the very works that I am doing, bear witness about me that the Father has sent me.

De nekem nagyobb bizonyságom van Jánosénál, mert azok a dolgok, amelyeket rám bízott az Atya, hogy elvégezzem őket – tehát amiket cselekszem –, azok tesznek bizonyságot rólam, hogy az Atya küldött engem.

De nékem nagyobb bizonyságom van a Jánosénál: mert azok a dolgok, a melyeket rám bízott az Atya, hogy elvégezzem azokat, azok a dolgok, a melyeket én cselekszem, tesznek bizonyságot rólam, hogy az Atya küldött engem.

But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

Dar Eu am o mărturie mai mare decât a lui Ioan; căci lucrările pe care Mi le-a dat Tatăl să le săvârşesc, tocmai lucrările acestea pe care le fac Eu, mărturisesc despre Mine că Tatăl M-a trimis.

And the Father who sent me has himself borne witness about me. His voice you have never heard, his form you have never seen,

De maga az Atya is, aki elküldött engem, bizonyságot tett rólam. A hangját nem hallottátok soha, az arcát sem láttátok,

A ki elküldött engem, maga az Atya is bizonyságot tett rólam. Sem hangját nem hallottátok soha, sem ábrázatát nem láttátok.

And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

Şi Tatăl, care M-a trimis, a mărturisit El însuşi despre Mine. Voi nu I-aţi auzit niciodată glasul, nu I-aţi văzut deloc faţa;

and you do not have his word abiding in you, for you do not believe the one whom he has sent.

és igéje sincs maradandóan bennetek, mert nem hisztek annak, akit ő elküldött.

Az ő ígéje sincs maradandóan bennetek: mert a kit ő elküldött, ti annak nem hisztek.

And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

şi Cuvântul Lui nu rămâne în voi, pentru că nu credeţi în Acela pe care L-a trimis El.

You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me,

Ti azért kutatjátok az Írásokat, mert úgy vélitek, hogy azokban van az örök életetek, pedig azok rólam tesznek bizonyságot,

Tudakozzátok az írásokat, mert azt hiszitek, hogy azokban van a ti örök életetek; és ezek azok, a melyek bizonyságot tesznek rólam;

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Cercetaţi Scripturile, pentru că socotiţi că în ele aveţi viaţa veşnică, dar tocmai ele mărturisesc despre Mine.

yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life.

de ti nem akartok hozzám jönni, hogy életetek legyen!

És nem akartok hozzám jőni, hogy életetek legyen!

And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

Şi nu vreţi să veniţi la Mine ca să aveţi viaţa!

I do not receive glory from people.

41

Dicsőséget emberektől nem fogadok el,

Dicsőséget emberektől nem nyerek.

I receive not honour from men.

Eu nu umblu după slava care vine de la oameni.

But I know that you do not have the love of God within you.

de ismerlek titeket, hogy nincs meg bennetek az Isten szeretete.

De ismerlek benneteket, hogy az Istennek szeretete nincs meg bennetek:

But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.

Dar ştiu că n-aveţi în voi dragoste de Dumnezeu.

I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him.

Én az én Atyám nevében jöttem, és nem fogadtatok be; ha más jön a maga nevében, azt befogadjátok.

Én az én Atyám nevében jöttem, és nem fogadtatok be engem; ha más jőne a maga nevében, azt befogadnátok.

I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

Hogyan is tudnátok hinni, amikor egymástól vesztek dicsőséget, de nem keresitek azt a dicsőséget, amely az egyetlen Istentől van?

Mimódon hihettek ti, a kik egymástól nyertek dicsőséget, és azt a dicsőséget, a mely az egy Istentől van, nem keresitek?

How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?

Cum puteţi crede voi care umblaţi după slava pe care v-o daţi unii altora, şi nu căutaţi slava care vine de la singurul Dumnezeu?

Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you: Moses, on whom you have set your hope.

De ne gondoljátok, hogy én vádollak majd titeket az Atyánál; van, aki vádoljon titeket: Mózes, akiben ti reménykedtek.

Ne állítsátok, hogy én vádollak majd benneteket az Atyánál; van a ki vádol titeket, Mózes, a kiben ti reménykedtetek.

Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.

Să nu credeţi că vă voi învinui înaintea Tatălui; este cine să vă învinuiască: Moise, în care v-aţi pus nădejdea.

For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote of me.
