Józsué pedig összegyűjtötte Izráel minden nemzetségét Sikembe, és előhívta Izráel véneit, fejeit, bíráit és elöljáróit, és odaálltak az Isten színe elé.

And Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem, and called for the elders of Israel, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented themselves before God.

Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem and summoned the elders, the heads, the judges, and the officers of Israel. And they presented themselves before God.

Józsué ekkor azt mondta az egész népnek: Így szól az ÚR, Izráel Istene: Régen a folyón túl laktak atyáitok: Ábrahám, Náhór és atyjuk, Táré, akik idegen isteneknek szolgáltak.

És monda Józsué az egész népnek: Ezt mondja az Úr, Izráelnek Istene: A folyóvizen túl lakoztak régenten a ti atyáitok: Tháré, Ábrahámnak atyja és Nákhórnak atyja, és idegen isteneknek szolgáltak vala.

And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods.

Iosua a zis întregului popor: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeul lui Israel: „Părinţii voştri, Terah, tatăl lui Avraam şi tatăl lui Nahor, locuiau în vechime de cealaltă parte a Râului şi slujeau altor dumnezei.

And Joshua said to all the people, “Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, ‘Long ago, your fathers lived beyond the Euphrates, Terah, the father of Abraham and of Nahor; and they served other gods.

De áthoztam atyátokat, Ábrahámot a folyó túlsó oldaláról, és végigvittem egész Kánaán földjén, és megsokasítottam utódait, és Izsákot adtam neki.

De áthozám a ti atyátokat, Ábrahámot a folyóvíz túlsó oldaláról, és elhordozám őt az egész Kanaán földén, és megsokasítám az ő magvát; és adám néki Izsákot.

And I took your father Abraham from the other side of the flood, and led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seed, and gave him Isaac.

Eu am luat pe tatăl vostru Avraam din cealaltă parte a Râului şi l-am purtat prin toată ţara Canaanului; i-am înmulţit sămânţa şi i-am dat pe Isaac.

Then I took your father Abraham from beyond the River and led him through all the land of Canaan, and made his offspring many. I gave him Isaac.

Izsáknak pedig Jákóbot és Ézsaut adtam. Ézsaunak a Széír-hegységet adtam birtokul, Jákób és fiai pedig lementek Egyiptomba.

Izsáknak pedig adám Jákóbot és Ézsaut. És Ézsaunak a Szeír hegyét adám birtokul, Jákób pedig és az ő fiai alámenének Égyiptomba.

And I gave unto Isaac Jacob and Esau: and I gave unto Esau mount Seir, to possess it; but Jacob and his children went down into Egypt.

Lui Isaac i-am dat pe Iacov şi pe Esau: lui Esau i-am dat în stăpânire muntele Seir, iar Iacov şi fiii lui s-au coborât în Egipt.

And to Isaac I gave Jacob and Esau. And I gave Esau the hill country of Seir to possess, but Jacob and his children went down to Egypt.

Majd elküldtem Mózest és Áront, és megvertem Egyiptomot az által, amit köztük cselekedtem. Azután pedig kihoztalak benneteket.

Majd elküldém Mózest és Áront, és megverém Égyiptomot úgy, a hogy cselekedtem vala közöttök; azután pedig kihoztalak vala titeket.

I sent Moses also and Aaron, and I plagued Egypt, according to that which I did among them: and afterward I brought you out.

Am trimis pe Moise şi pe Aaron şi am lovit Egiptul cu minunile pe care le-am făcut în mijlocul lui; apoi v-am scos afară din el.

And I sent Moses and Aaron, and I plagued Egypt with what I did in the midst of it, and afterward I brought you out.

Kihoztam atyáitokat Egyiptomból, és eljutottak a tengerig. Az egyiptomiak üldözték atyáitokat harci szekerekkel és lovasokkal a Vörös-tengerig.

És kihoztam a ti atyáitokat Égyiptomból, és jutátok a tengerhez, és űzék az égyiptomiak a ti atyáitokat szekerekkel és lovasokkal a Veres tengerig.

And I brought your fathers out of Egypt: and ye came unto the sea; and the Egyptians pursued after your fathers with chariots and horsemen unto the Red sea.

Am scos pe părinţii voştri din Egipt, şi aţi ajuns la mare. Egiptenii au urmărit pe părinţii voştri până la Marea Roşie, cu care şi călăreţi.

“‘Then I brought your fathers out of Egypt, and you came to the sea. And the Egyptians pursued your fathers with chariots and horsemen to the Red Sea.

Akkor az ÚRhoz kiáltottak, és ő sötétséget bocsátott közétek és az egyiptomiak közé, és rájuk vitte a tengert, és az elborította őket. Szemetekkel láttátok, amit az egyiptomiakkal cselekedtem. Aztán sokáig a pusztában laktatok.

Akkor az Úrhoz kiáltának, és homályt vete ti közétek és az égyiptomiak közé, és rájok vivé a tengert és elborítá őket. Szemeitek is látták azt, a mit cselekedtem vala az égyiptomiakkal; ti pedig sok ideig lakoztatok a pusztában.

And when they cried unto the LORD, he put darkness between you and the Egyptians, and brought the sea upon them, and covered them; and your eyes have seen what I have done in Egypt: and ye dwelt in the wilderness a long season.

Părinţii voştri au strigat către Domnul. Şi Domnul a pus întuneric între voi şi egipteni, a adus marea înapoi peste ei şi i-a acoperit. Aţi văzut cu ochii voştri ce am făcut egiptenilor. Şi aţi rămas multă vreme în pustiu.

And when they cried to the LORD, he put darkness between you and the Egyptians and made the sea come upon them and cover them; and your eyes saw what I did in Egypt. And you lived in the wilderness a long time.

Majd elhoztalak titeket az emóriak földjére, akik a Jordánon túl laktak, és harcoltak ellenetek. De a kezetekbe adtam őket, birtokba vettétek a földjüket, őket pedig eltöröltem előletek.

Majd elhozálak titeket az Emoreusok földére, a kik túl laktak vala a Jordánon, és hadakozának ellenetek; de kezetekbe adám őket, és bírátok az ő földüket, őket pedig eltörlém a ti orczátok elől.

And I brought you into the land of the Amorites, which dwelt on the other side Jordan; and they fought with you: and I gave them into your hand, that ye might possess their land; and I destroyed them from before you.

V-am adus în ţara amoriţilor, care locuiau dincolo de Iordan, şi ei au luptat împotriva voastră. I-am dat în mâinile voastre; aţi pus stăpânire pe ţara lor, şi i-am nimicit dinaintea voastră.

Then I brought you to the land of the Amorites, who lived on the other side of the Jordan. They fought with you, and I gave them into your hand, and you took possession of their land, and I destroyed them before you.

Majd fölkelt Bálák, Cippór fia, Móáb királya, és harcolt Izráel ellen. Elküldött, és hívatta Bálámot, Beór fiát, hogy megátkozzon titeket.

Majd felkele Bálák, a Czippor fia, Moábnak királya, és hadakozék Izráellel, és elkülde és hivatá Bálámot, a Beór fiát, hogy átkozzon meg titeket.

Then Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, arose and warred against Israel, and sent and called Balaam the son of Beor to curse you:

Balac, fiul lui Ţipor, împăratul Moabului, s-a sculat şi a pornit la luptă împotriva lui Israel. A chemat pe Balaam, fiul lui Beor, ca să vă blesteme.

Then Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, arose and fought against Israel. And he sent and invited Balaam the son of Beor to curse you,

De nem akartam meghallgatni Bálámot, ezért meg kellett áldania benneteket, és így megszabadítottalak titeket a kezéből.

De nem akarám meghallgatni Bálámot, ezért áldva áldott vala titeket, és megszabadítálak titeket az ő kezéből.

But I would not hearken unto Balaam; therefore he blessed you still: so I delivered you out of his hand.

Dar n-am vrut să ascult pe Balaam: el v-a binecuvântat, şi v-am izbăvit din mâna lui Balac.

but I would not listen to Balaam. Indeed, he blessed you. So I delivered you out of his hand.

Majd átkeltetek a Jordánon, és Jerikóhoz érkeztetek. Jerikó urai, az emóriak, perizziek, kánaániak, hettiták, girgásiak, hivviek és a jebúsziak harcoltak ellenetek, de a kezetekbe adtam őket.

Majd általjövétek a Jordánon, és jutátok Jérikhóba, és hadakozának veletek Jérikhónak urai: az Emoreus, Perizeus, Kananeus, Khittheus, Girgazeus, Khivveus és Jebuzeus; de kezetekbe adám őket.

And you went over Jordan, and came unto Jericho: and the men of Jericho fought against you, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Girgashites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; and I delivered them into your hand.

Aţi trecut Iordanul şi aţi ajuns la Ierihon. Locuitorii Ierihonului au luptat împotriva voastră: amoriţii, fereziţii, canaaniţii, hetiţii, ghirgasiţii, heviţii şi Iebusiţii. I-am dat în mâinile voastre,

And you went over the Jordan and came to Jericho, and the leaders of Jericho fought against you, and also the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. And I gave them into your hand.

Darazsakat küldtem előttetek, azok űzték el előletek az emóriak két királyát, nem a te kardod és nem a te íjad!

Mert elbocsátám előttetek a darázsokat, és űzék azokat előletek: az Emoreusok két királyát, de nem a te fegyvered által, de nem a te kézíved által!

And I sent the hornet before you, which drave them out from before you, even the two kings of the Amorites; but not with thy sword, nor with thy bow.

am trimis înaintea voastră viespe bondărească, şi i-a izgonit dinaintea voastră, ca pe cei doi împăraţi ai amoriţilor: nu cu sabia, nici cu arcul tău.

And I sent the hornet before you, which drove them out before you, the two kings of the Amorites; it was not by your sword or by your bow.

Földet adtam nektek, amelyen nem ti dolgoztatok, és városokat, amelyeket nem ti építettetek, mégis bennük laktok; szőlőket és olajfákat, amelyeket nem ti ültettetek, de esztek róluk.

És adék néktek földet, a melyben nem munkálkodtál, és városokat, a melyeket nem építettetek vala, mégis bennök laktok; szőlőket és olajfákat, a melyeket nem ti ültettetek, de esztek [azokról.

And I have given you a land for which ye did not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat.

V-am dat o ţară pe care n-o munciserăţi, cetăţi pe care nu le zidiserăţi, dar pe care le locuiţi, vii şi măslini pe care nu-i sădiserăţi, dar care vă slujesc ca hrană.

I gave you a land on which you had not labored and cities that you had not built, and you dwell in them. You eat the fruit of vineyards and olive orchards that you did not plant.’

Azért hát féljétek az URat, és szolgáljatok neki tökéletesen és hűségesen. Vessétek el azokat az isteneket, akiknek atyáitok szolgáltak a folyamon túl és Egyiptomban, és szolgáljatok az ÚRnak!

Azért hát féljétek az Urat, és szolgáljatok néki tökéletességgel és hűséggel; és hányjátok el az isteneket, a kiknek szolgáltak a ti atyáitok túl a folyóvizen és Égyiptomban, szolgáljatok az Úrnak.

Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.

Acum, temeţi-vă de Domnul şi slujiţi-I cu scumpătate şi credincioşie. Depărtaţi dumnezeii cărora le-au slujit părinţii voştri dincolo de Râu şi în Egipt şi slujiţi Domnului.

“Now therefore fear the LORD and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD.

Ha pedig rossznak látjátok azt, hogy az ÚRnak szolgáljatok, válasszatok még ma, hogy kit akartok szolgálni. Akár azokat az isteneket, akiknek atyáitok szolgáltak, amíg a folyamon túl voltak, vagy az emóriak isteneit, akiknek a földjén laktok. Én azonban és az én házam népe az ÚRnak szolgálunk.

Hogyha pedig rossznak látjátok azt, hogy szolgáljatok az Úrnak: válaszszatok magatoknak még ma, a kit szolgáljatok; akár azokat az isteneket, a kiknek a ti atyáitok szolgáltak, a míg túl valának a folyóvizen, akár az Emoreusok isteneit, a kiknek földjén lakoztok: én azonban és az én házam az Úrnak szolgálunk.

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Şi dacă nu găsiţi cu cale să slujiţi Domnului, alegeţi astăzi cui vreţi să slujiţi: sau dumnezeilor cărora le slujeau părinţii voştri dincolo de Râu, sau dumnezeilor amoriţilor în a căror ţară locuiţi. Cât despre mine, eu şi casa mea vom sluji Domnului.”

And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

A nép pedig így felelt: Távol legyen tőlünk, hogy elhagyjuk az URat, és idegen isteneknek szolgáljunk!

A nép pedig felele, és monda: Távol legyen tőlünk, hogy elhagyjuk az Urat, szolgálván idegen isteneknek!

And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods;

Poporul a răspuns şi a zis: „Departe de noi gândul să părăsim pe Domnul şi să slujim altor dumnezei.

Then the people answered, “Far be it from us that we should forsake the LORD to serve other gods,

Mert az ÚR, a mi Istenünk az, aki kihozott minket és atyáinkat Egyiptom földjéről, a szolgaság házából, és aki ezeket a nagy jeleket tette szemünk előtt, és megtartott minket minden utunkon, amelyen jártunk, és minden nép között, amelyek között átjöttünk.

Sőt inkább az Úr, a mi Istenünk az, a ki felhozott minket és atyáinkat Égyiptom földéből, a szolgák házából, és a ki ezeket a nagy jeleket tette a mi szemeink előtt, és megtartott minket minden útunkban, a melyen jártunk, és mind ama népek között, a melyek között általjöttünk;

For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:

Căci Domnul este Dumnezeul nostru. El ne-a scos din ţara Egiptului, din casa robiei, pe noi şi pe părinţii noştri; El a făcut înaintea ochilor noştri acele minuni mari şi ne-a păzit în tot timpul drumului pe care l-am urmat şi în mijlocul tuturor popoarelor pe la care am trecut.

for it is the LORD our God who brought us and our fathers up from the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery, and who did those great signs in our sight and preserved us in all the way that we went, and among all the peoples through whom we passed.

Kiűzött előlünk az ÚR minden népet, az emóriakat, e föld lakóit is. Mi is az URat akarjuk szolgálni, mert ő a mi Istenünk!

És kiűzött az Úr minden népet, az Emoreust is, e földnek lakóját, a mi orczánk elől: Mi is szolgálunk az Úrnak, mert ő a mi Istenünk!

And the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the LORD; for he is our God.

El a izgonit dinaintea noastră pe toate popoarele şi pe amoriţii care locuiau ţara aceasta. Şi noi vom sluji Domnului, căci El este Dumnezeul nostru.”

And the LORD drove out before us all the peoples, the Amorites who lived in the land. Therefore we also will serve the LORD, for he is our God.”

Józsué pedig azt mondta a népnek: Nem szolgálhattok az ÚRnak, mert szent Isten ő, féltőn szerető Isten: nem bocsátja meg vétkeiteket és bűneiteket.

Józsué pedig monda a népnek: Nem szolgálhattok az Úrnak, mert szent Isten ő, féltőn szerető Isten ő; nem bocsátja meg a ti vétkeiteket és bűneiteket;

And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.

Iosua a zis poporului: „Voi nu veţi putea să slujiţi Domnului, căci este un Dumnezeu sfânt, un Dumnezeu gelos; El nu vă va ierta fără-delegile şi păcatele.

But Joshua said to the people, “You are not able to serve the LORD, for he is a holy God. He is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions or your sins.

Ha elhagyjátok az URat, és idegen isteneknek szolgáltok, akkor elfordul tőletek, és megbüntet benneteket és megemészt, ha azelőtt jót is tett veletek.

Hogyha elhagyjátok az Urat, és szolgáltok idegen isteneknek: akkor elfordul és roszszal illet benneteket, és megemészt titeket, minekutána jól cselekedett veletek.

If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.

Când veţi părăsi pe Domnul şi veţi sluji unor dumnezei străini, El Se va întoarce şi vă va face rău şi vă va nimici, după ce v-a făcut bine.”

If you forsake the LORD and serve foreign gods, then he will turn and do you harm and consume you, after having done you good.”

Akkor azt mondta a nép Józsuénak: Nem! Mi az ÚRnak akarunk szolgálni!

Akkor monda a nép Józsuénak: Nem, mert mi az Úrnak szolgálunk!

And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve the LORD.

Poporul a zis lui Iosua: „Nu! Căci vom sluji Domnului.”

And the people said to Joshua, “No, but we will serve the LORD.”

Józsué pedig azt mondta a népnek: Tanúk vagytok magatok ellen, hogy ti választottátok magatoknak az URat, hogy neki szolgáljatok. Ők azt mondták: Tanúk vagyunk!

Józsué pedig monda a népnek: Bizonyságok vagytok magatok ellen, hogy ti választottátok magatoknak az Urat, hogy néki szolgáljatok. És mondának: Bizonyságok!

And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the LORD, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses.

Iosua a zis poporului: „Voi sunteţi martori împotriva voastră înşivă că aţi ales pe Domnul, ca să-I slujiţi.” Ei au răspuns: „Suntem martori!”

Then Joshua said to the people, “You are witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen the LORD, to serve him.” And they said, “We are witnesses.”

Most azért vessétek el az idegen isteneket, akik köztetek vannak, és hajtsátok szíveteket az ÚRhoz, Izráel Istenéhez!

Most azért hányjátok el az idegen isteneket, a kik köztetek vannak, és hajtsátok sziveteket az Úrhoz, Izráelnek Istenéhez.

Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel.

„Scoateţi, dar, dumnezeii străini care sunt în mijlocul vostru şi întoarceţi-vă inima spre Domnul, Dumnezeul lui Israel.”

He said, “Then put away the foreign gods that are among you, and incline your heart to the LORD, the God of Israel.”

A nép azt válaszolta Józsuénak: Az ÚRnak, a mi Istenünknek szolgálunk, és az ő szavára hallgatunk.

És monda a nép Józsuénak: Az Úrnak, a mi Istenünknek szolgálunk, és az ő szavára hallgatunk.

And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey.

Şi poporul a zis lui Iosua: „Noi vom sluji Domnului Dumnezeului nostru şi vom asculta glasul Lui.”

And the people said to Joshua, “The LORD our God we will serve, and his voice we will obey.”

Így kötött Józsué szövetséget a néppel azon a napon, és rendelkezéseket és törvényt adott nekik Sikemben.

Szerze azért Józsué szövetséget a néppel e napon, és ada eleibe rendelést és végzést Síkemben.

So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem.

So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and put in place statutes and rules for them at Shechem.

Azután beírta Józsué ezeket a dolgokat Isten törvénykönyvébe, vett egy nagy követ, és odahelyezte a tölgyfa alá, amely az ÚR szentélyénél volt.

És beírá Józsué e dolgokat az Isten törvényének könyvébe, és vőn egy nagy követ, és oda helyhezteté azt a cserfa alá, a mely vala az Úrnak szent házában.

And Joshua wrote these words in the book of the law of God, and took a great stone, and set it up there under an oak, that was by the sanctuary of the LORD.

Iosua a scris aceste lucruri în cartea Legii lui Dumnezeu. A luat o piatră mare şi a ridicat-o acolo sub stejarul care era în locul închinat Domnului.

And Joshua wrote these words in the Book of the Law of God. And he took a large stone and set it up there under the terebinth that was by the sanctuary of the LORD.

És ezt mondta Józsué az egész népnek: Íme, ez a kő lesz tanúbizonyságul ellenünk. Mert ez hallotta az ÚR minden beszédét, amelyet szólt nekünk. Tanúbizonyságul lesz ellenetek, ha megtagadjátok Isteneteket.

És monda Józsué az egész népnek: Ímé ez a kő lesz ellenünk bizonyságul; mert ez hallotta az Úrnak minden beszédét, a melyet szólott vala nékünk; és lesz ellenetek bizonyságul, hogy ne hazudjatok a ti Istenetek ellen.

And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness unto us; for it hath heard all the words of the LORD which he spake unto us: it shall be therefore a witness unto you, lest ye deny your God.

Şi Iosua a zis întregului popor: „Iată piatra aceasta va fi martoră împotriva noastră, căci a auzit toate cuvintele pe care ni le-a spus Domnul, ea va fi martoră împotriva voastră, ca să nu fiţi necredincioşi Dumnezeului vostru.”

And Joshua said to all the people, “Behold, this stone shall be a witness against us, for it has heard all the words of the LORD that he spoke to us. Therefore it shall be a witness against you, lest you deal falsely with your God.”

És elbocsátotta Józsué a népet, mindenkit a maga örökségébe.

So Joshua let the people depart, every man unto his inheritance.

Ezek után meghalt Józsué, Nún fia, az ÚR szolgája száztíz esztendős korában.

And it came to pass after these things, that Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being an hundred and ten years old.

După aceste lucruri, Iosua, fiul lui Nun, robul Domnului, a murit în vârstă de o sută zece ani.

After these things Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being 110 years old.

Öröksége határában temették el Timnat-Szerahban, amely az Efraim hegyvidékén van, a Gaas-hegytől északra.

And the bones of Joseph, which the children of Israel brought up out of Egypt, buried they in Shechem, in a parcel of ground which Jacob bought of the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem for an hundred pieces of silver: and it became the inheritance of the children of Joseph.

As for the bones of Joseph, which the people of Israel brought up from Egypt, they buried them at Shechem, in the piece of land that Jacob bought from the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem for a hundred pieces of money. It became an inheritance of the descendants of Joseph.
