Azután Józsué, Nún fia titkon elküldött Sittímből két férfit kémként, és ezt mondta nekik: Menjetek el, tekintsétek meg azt a földet és Jerikót. Azok pedig elmentek, bementek egy parázna asszony házába, akinek Ráháb volt a neve, és ott megháltak.

És Józsué, a Nún fia, elkülde Sittimből titkon két férfiút kémekül, mondván: Menjetek el, tekintsétek meg azt a földet és Jérikhót. Azok pedig elmenének, és bemenének egy parázna asszonynak házába, a kinek Ráháb vala neve, és ott hálának.

And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there.

Iosua, fiul lui Nun, a trimis în ascuns din Sitim doi oameni, ca iscoade, zicându-le: „Duceţi-vă de cercetaţi ţara şi mai ales Ierihonul.” Cei doi oameni au plecat şi au ajuns în casa unei curve, care se chema Rahav, şi s-au culcat acolo.

And Joshua the son of Nun sent two men secretly from Shittim as spies, saying, “Go, view the land, especially Jericho.” And they went and came into the house of a prostitute whose name was Rahab and lodged there.

De jelentették ezt Jerikó királyának e szavakkal: Íme, férfiak jöttek ide ma éjjel Izráel fiai közül az ország kikémlelésére.

Mikor pedig megjelentették ezt Jérikhó királyának, mondván: Íme, férfiak jöttek ide ez éjszaka az Izráel fiai közül e földnek kémlelésére;

And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of Israel to search out the country.

S-a dat de ştire împăratului din Ierihon şi i-au spus: „Iată că nişte oameni dintre copiii lui Israel au venit aici astă-noapte ca să iscodească ţara.”

And it was told to the king of Jericho, “Behold, men of Israel have come here tonight to search out the land.”

Akkor Jerikó királya ezt üzente Ráhábnak: Hozd ki a férfiakat, akik bementek hozzád, akik a házadba mentek, mert azért jöttek, hogy kikémleljék az egész földet.

Akkor külde Jérikhó királya Ráhábhoz, mondván: Hozd ki a férfiakat, a kik bementek hozzád, a kik házadba mentek, mert azért jöttek, hogy kikémleljék az egész földet.

And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country.

Împăratul Ierihonului a trimis la Rahav să-i spună: „Scoate afară pe bărbaţii care au venit la tine şi care au intrat în casa ta; căci au venit să iscodească ţara.”

Then the king of Jericho sent to Rahab, saying, “Bring out the men who have come to you, who entered your house, for they have come to search out all the land.”

Az asszony pedig fogta a két férfit, elrejtette őket, és azt mondta: Úgy van! Bejöttek hozzám a férfiak, de azt sem tudom, honnan valók voltak,

Az asszony pedig fogá a két férfiút, és elrejté vala őket, és monda: Úgy van! Bejöttek hozzám a férfiak, de azt sem tudom, honnan valók voltak.

And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were:

Femeia a luat pe cei doi bărbaţi şi i-a ascuns; şi a zis: „Este adevărat că bărbaţii aceştia au venit la mine, dar nu ştiam de unde sunt;

But the woman had taken the two men and hidden them. And she said, “True, the men came to me, but I did not know where they were from.

és kimentek e férfiak kapuzáráskor a sötétben. Nem tudom, hova mentek. Siessetek gyorsan utánuk, mert utolérhetitek őket.

És kimentek e férfiak kapuzáráskor a setétben; nem tudom, hová mentek a férfiak; siessetek gyorsan utánok, mert utólérhetitek őket.

And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went I wot not: pursue after them quickly; for ye shall overtake them.

şi, fiindcă poarta a trebuit să se închidă noaptea, bărbaţii aceştia au ieşit afară; nu ştiu unde s-au dus: grăbiţi-vă de-i urmăriţi şi-i veţi ajunge.”

And when the gate was about to be closed at dark, the men went out. I do not know where the men went. Pursue them quickly, for you will overtake them.”

Pedig fölküldte őket a tetőre, és elbújtatta őket a száras len közé, amely ki volt rakva a háztetőn.

Pedig ő felhágatta őket a házhéjára, és elbujtatta őket a száras len közé, a mely néki a házhéjára volt kirakva.

But she had brought them up to the roof of the house, and hid them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order upon the roof.

Ea îi suise pe acoperiş şi-i ascunsese sub nişte mănunchiuri de in, pe care-l întinsese pe acoperiş.

But she had brought them up to the roof and hid them with the stalks of flax that she had laid in order on the roof.

Az emberek utánuk siettek a Jordán gázlójához vivő úton. A kaput pedig bezárták, amint kimentek az üldözők.

És utánok sietének a férfiak a Jordánhoz vivő úton a rév felé; a kaput pedig bezárták, azután, hogy kimenének azok, a kik őket üldözik vala.

And the men pursued after them the way to Jordan unto the fords: and as soon as they which pursued after them were gone out, they shut the gate.

Oamenii aceia i-au urmărit pe drumul care duce la vadul Iordanului, şi după ce au ieşit ei, s-a închis poarta.

So the men pursued after them on the way to the Jordan as far as the fords. And the gate was shut as soon as the pursuers had gone out.

A kémek még le sem feküdtek, amikor fölment hozzájuk az asszony a tetőre.

Ők pedig még le sem feküvének, a mikor felméne ő hozzájok [az asszony] a házhéjára,

And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof;

Înainte de a se culca iscoadele, Rahav s-a suit la ei pe acoperiş

Before the men lay down, she came up to them on the roof

Azt mondta a férfiaknak: Tudom, hogy az ÚR nektek adta ezt a földet. Megszállt minket a félelem miattatok, és e föld minden lakosa megolvad előttetek.

És monda a férfiaknak: Tudom, hogy az Úr néktek adta ezt a földet, és hogy megszállt minket a félelem miattatok, és hogy e földnek minden lakosa megolvad előttetek.

And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.

şi le-a zis: „Ştiu că Domnul v-a dat ţara aceasta, căci ne-a apucat groaza de voi, şi toţi locuitorii ţării tremură înaintea voastră.

and said to the men, “I know that the LORD has given you the land, and that the fear of you has fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land melt away before you.

Mert hallottuk, hogy kiszárította az ÚR a Vörös-tenger vizét előttetek, amikor kijöttetek Egyiptomból, és hogy mit cselekedtetek a Jordánon túl az emóriak két királyával, Szíhónnal és Óggal, hogy megöltétek őket.

Mert hallottuk, hogy megszárította az Úr a Veres tenger vizét előttetek, a mikor kijöttetek Égyiptomból, és hogy mit cselekedtetek az Emoreusok két királyával, a kik túl voltak a Jordánon, Szíhonnal és Óggal, a kiket megöltetek.

For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.

Fiindcă am auzit cum, la ieşirea voastră din Egipt, Domnul a secat înaintea voastră apele Mării Roşii şi am auzit ce aţi făcut celor doi împăraţi ai amoriţilor dincolo de Iordan, lui Sihon şi Og, pe care i-aţi nimicit cu desăvârşire.

For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red Sea before you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, to Sihon and Og, whom you devoted to destruction.

Amikor ezt hallottuk, megolvadt a szívünk, és elállt a lélegzete mindenkinek miattatok. Bizony, a ti Istenetek, az ÚR az Isten fönn az égben és lenn a földön!

És a mint hallottuk, megolvadott a mi szívünk, és nem támadt többé bátorság senkiben sem miattatok. Bizony az Úr, a ti Istenetek az Isten fenn az égben és alant a földön!

And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.

De când am auzit lucrul acesta, ni s-a tăiat inima şi toţi ne-am pierdut nădejdea înaintea voastră; căci Domnul Dumnezeul vostru este Dumnezeu sus în ceruri şi jos pe pământ.

And as soon as we heard it, our hearts melted, and there was no spirit left in any man because of you, for the LORD your God, he is God in the heavens above and on the earth beneath.

Most azért kérlek, esküdjetek meg nekem az ÚRra, hogy ahogy én irgalmasságot cselekedtem veletek, ti is irgalmasságot cselekszetek majd atyám házával, és biztos jelt adtok nekem arról,

Most azért esküdjetek meg kérlek, nékem az Úrra, hogy a mint én irgalmasságot cselekedtem veletek, ti is irgalmasságot cselekesztek majd az én atyámnak házával, és igaz jelt adtok nékem,

Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the LORD, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father's house, and give me a true token:

Şi acum, vă rog, juraţi-mi pe Domnul că veţi avea faţă de casa tatălui meu aceeaşi bunăvoinţă pe care am avut-o eu faţă de voi. Daţi-mi un semn de încredinţare

Now then, please swear to me by the LORD that, as I have dealt kindly with you, you also will deal kindly with my father’s house, and give me a sure sign

hogy életben hagyjátok atyámat, anyámat, férfi- és nőtestvéreimet, és mindent, ami az övék, és megmentitek lelkünket a haláltól.

Hogy életben hagyjátok az én atyámat és anyámat, férfi és nőtestvéreimet, és mindent, a mi az övék, és megmentitek a mi lelkünket a haláltól.

And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death.

că veţi lăsa cu viaţă pe tatăl meu, pe mama mea, pe fraţii mei, pe surorile mele şi pe toţi ai lor şi că ne veţi scăpa de la moarte.”

that you will save alive my father and mother, my brothers and sisters, and all who belong to them, and deliver our lives from death.”

A férfiak ezt mondták neki: A mi lelkünket érje helyettetek a halál, ha nem áruljátok el az ügyünket. Akkor, ha nekünk adja az ÚR ezt a földet, irgalmasan és igazságosan cselekszünk veled.

És mondának néki a férfiak: A mi lelkünket érje helyettetek a halál, ha meg nem jelentitek ezt a mi dolgunkat. És ha nékünk adja az Úr ezt a földet, irgalmasságot és igazságot cselekszünk veled.

And the men answered her, Our life for yours, if ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the LORD hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee.

Bărbaţii aceia i-au răspuns: „Suntem gata să murim pentru voi, dacă nu ne daţi pe faţă; şi când Domnul ne va da ţara aceasta, ne vom purta cu tine cu bunăvoinţă şi credincioşie.”

And the men said to her, “Our life for yours even to death! If you do not tell this business of ours, then when the LORD gives us the land we will deal kindly and faithfully with you.”

Azután leengedte őket egy kötélen az ablakból, mert háza a kőkerítés falán volt, és ő a kőkerítésen lakott.

Alábocsátá azért őket kötélen az ablakon (mert az ő háza a kőkerítés falán vala, és ő a kőkerítésen lakik vala).

Then she let them down by a cord through the window: for her house was upon the town wall, and she dwelt upon the wall.

Ea i-a coborât cu o funie pe fereastră, căci casa în care locuia era lângă zidul cetăţii.

Then she let them down by a rope through the window, for her house was built into the city wall, so that she lived in the wall.

Ezt mondta nekik: A hegyre menjetek, hogy rátok ne találjanak az üldözők, és ott rejtőzködjetek három napig, amíg visszatérnek az üldözők, azután pedig menjetek utatokra.

És monda nékik: A hegyre menjetek, hogy rátok ne találjanak az üldözők, és ott rejtőzködjetek három napig, a míg visszatérnek az üldözők; azután pedig menjetek a magatok útján.

And she said unto them, Get you to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; and hide yourselves there three days, until the pursuers be returned: and afterward may ye go your way.

Şi le-a zis: „Duceţi-vă spre munte, ca să nu vă întâlnească cei ce vă urmăresc; ascundeţi-vă acolo trei zile, până se vor întoarce; după aceea, să vă vedeţi de drum.”

And she said to them, “Go into the hills, or the pursuers will encounter you, and hide there three days until the pursuers have returned. Then afterward you may go your way.”

A férfiak így feleltek neki: Mentesek leszünk az eskü alól, amellyel megeskettél minket,

A férfiak pedig mondának néki: Ártatlanok leszünk ezen te esketésedtől, a melylyel te megeskettél minket!

And the men said unto her, We will be blameless of this thine oath which thou hast made us swear.

Bărbaţii aceia i-au zis: „Iată cum vom fi dezlegaţi de jurământul pe care ne-ai pus să-l facem.

The men said to her, “We will be guiltless with respect to this oath of yours that you have made us swear.

ha bejövünk erre a földre, és nem kötöd ezt a vörös fonalú zsinórt ahhoz az ablakhoz, amelyen leengedtél minket, és nem gyűjtöd össze atyádat, anyádat és testvéreidet, atyád egész háznépét ebbe a házba.

Ha bejövünk mi erre a földre, kösd e veres fonalú zsinórt ahhoz az ablakhoz, a melyen alábocsátottál minket; atyádat, anyádat és atyádfiait pedig, és atyádnak egész háznépét gyűjtsd be magadhoz a házba.

Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father's household, home unto thee.

La intrarea noastră în ţară, leagă funia aceasta de fir cărămiziu la fereastra prin care ne-ai coborât şi strânge la tine în casă pe tatăl tău, pe mama ta, pe fraţii tăi şi pe toată familia tatălui tău.

Behold, when we come into the land, you shall tie this scarlet cord in the window through which you let us down, and you shall gather into your house your father and mother, your brothers, and all your father’s household.

És akkor, ha bárki kijön a házad ajtaján, annak vére az ő fején lesz, mi pedig ártatlanok leszünk. Mindazoknak a vére pedig, akik veled lesznek a házban, a mi fejünkön legyen, ha valaki kezet emelne rájuk.

És akkor, ha akárki kijön a te házadnak ajtain, annak vére az ő fején lesz, mi pedig ártatlanok leszünk; mindannak vére pedig, a ki te veled lesz a házban, a mi fejünkön legyen, ha valakinek keze lenne azon.

And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him.

Dacă vreunul din ei va ieşi pe poarta casei tale, ca să meargă afară pe uliţă, sângele lui va cădea asupra capului lui, şi noi vom fi nevinovaţi: dar dacă va pune cineva mâna pe vreunul din cei ce vor fi cu tine în casă, sângele lui va cădea asupra capului nostru.

Then if anyone goes out of the doors of your house into the street, his blood shall be on his own head, and we shall be guiltless. But if a hand is laid on anyone who is with you in the house, his blood shall be on our head.

Ha azonban elárulnád a mi ügyünket, akkor föl leszünk oldva az eskü alól, amellyel megeskettél minket.

Ha pedig megjelented ezt a mi dolgunkat, akkor mi fel leszünk oldva az eskü alól, a melylyel te megeskettél minket.

And if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear.

Şi dacă ne vei da pe faţă, vom fi dezlegaţi de jurământul pe care ne-ai pus să-l facem.”

But if you tell this business of ours, then we shall be guiltless with respect to your oath that you have made us swear.”

Ő pedig ezt mondta: Legyen úgy, ahogy mondtátok! Ekkor elbocsátotta őket, és elmentek. A vörös zsinórt pedig rákötötte az ablakra.

Monda pedig amaz: A mint szólottatok, úgy legyen! Ekkor elbocsátá őket, és elmenének; a veres zsinórt pedig reáköté az ablakra.

And she said, According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window.

Ea a răspuns: „Fie după cuvintele voastre.” Şi-a luat rămas bun de la ei, şi ei au plecat. Ea a legat funia cărămizie la fereastră.

And she said, “According to your words, so be it.” Then she sent them away, and they departed. And she tied the scarlet cord in the window.

Ők elmentek, és eljutottak a hegyre. Ott maradtak három napig, amíg vissza nem tértek az üldözők. Azok ugyanis keresték őket minden úton, de nem találták.

És elmenének és eljutának a hegyre, és ott maradának három nap, mígnem visszatérének az üldözők. Keresék ugyanis őket az üldözők minden úton, de nem találták vala.

And they went, and came unto the mountain, and abode there three days, until the pursuers were returned: and the pursuers sought them throughout all the way, but found them not.

Ei au plecat şi au ajuns la munte, unde au rămas trei zile, până s-au întors cei care-i urmăreau. Cei care-i urmăreau i-au căutat pe tot drumul, dar nu i-au găsit.

They departed and went into the hills and remained there three days until the pursuers returned, and the pursuers searched all along the way and found nothing.

Akkor a két férfi visszatért, lejöttek a hegyről, és átkeltek a Jordánon. Eljutottak Józsuéhoz, Nún fiához, és elbeszéltek neki mindent, ami velük történt.

Akkor a két férfiú visszatére, és leszállának a hegyről, és átmenének a [Jordánon], és eljutának Józsuéhoz, a Nún fiához, és elbeszélének néki mindent, a mi történt vala velök.

So the two men returned, and descended from the mountain, and passed over, and came to Joshua the son of Nun, and told him all things that befell them:

Cei doi oameni s-au întors, s-au coborât din munte şi au trecut Iordanul. Au venit la Iosua, fiul lui Nun, şi i-au istorisit tot ce li se întâmplase.

Then the two men returned. They came down from the hills and passed over and came to Joshua the son of Nun, and they told him all that had happened to them.

Majd ezt mondták Józsuénak: Bizony, kezünkbe adta az ÚR azt az egész földet, meg is olvadt már miattunk a föld minden lakosa.

És mondának Józsuénak: Bizony kezünkbe adta az Úr azt az egész földet; meg is olvadt már a földnek minden lakosa miattunk.

And they said unto Joshua, Truly the LORD hath delivered into our hands all the land; for even all the inhabitants of the country do faint because of us.

Ei au zis lui Iosua: „Cu adevărat, Domnul a dat toată ţara în mâinile noastre, şi toţi locuitorii ţării tremură înaintea noastră.”

And they said to Joshua, “Truly the LORD has given all the land into our hands. And also, all the inhabitants of the land melt away because of us.”
