Ezután így szólt az ÚR Józsuénak:

Majd szóla az Úr Józsuénak, mondván:

The LORD also spake unto Joshua, saying,

Domnul a vorbit lui Iosua şi a zis:

Then the LORD said to Joshua,

Mondd meg Izráel fiainak: Jelöljetek ki menedékvárosokat, amelyekről beszéltem nektek Mózes által,

Szólj az Izráel fiainak, mondván: Válaszszatok magatoknak menekülésre való városokat, a melyekről szóltam néktek Mózes által,

Speak to the children of Israel, saying, Appoint out for you cities of refuge, whereof I spake unto you by the hand of Moses:

„Vorbeşte copiilor lui Israel şi spune-le: „Hotărâţi-vă, cum v-am poruncit prin Moise, cetăţi de scăpare,

“Say to the people of Israel, ‘Appoint the cities of refuge, of which I spoke to you through Moses,

hogy odamenekülhessen a gyilkos, aki tévedésből, nem szándékosan ölt meg valakit, és legyenek azok nekik menedékhelyül a vérbosszuló elől.

Hogy oda szaladjon a gyilkos, a ki megöl valakit tévedésből, nem szándékosan, és legyenek azok menedékül nékik a vérbosszúló elől.

That the slayer that killeth any person unawares and unwittingly may flee thither: and they shall be your refuge from the avenger of blood.

unde să poată fugi ucigaşul care va omorî pe cineva fără voie, fără să aibă de gând să-l omoare; ele să vă fie un loc de scăpare împotriva răzbunătorului sângelui.

that the manslayer who strikes any person without intent or unknowingly may flee there. They shall be for you a refuge from the avenger of blood.

Aki pedig bemenekül e városok egyikébe, az álljon a város kapujába, és mondja el dolgait a város véneinek hallatára, azok pedig fogadják be őt maguk közé a városba, és adjanak neki helyet, hogy ott lakhasson.

A ki pedig beszalad valamelyikbe e városok közül, álljon [az] a város kapujába, és beszélje el az ő dolgait a város véneinek hallatára, és vegyék be őt magok közé a városba, és adjanak néki helyet, hogy velök lakozzék.

And when he that doth flee unto one of those cities shall stand at the entering of the gate of the city, and shall declare his cause in the ears of the elders of that city, they shall take him into the city unto them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them.

Ucigaşul să fugă într-una din aceste cetăţi, să se oprească la intrarea porţii cetăţii şi să spună întâmplarea lui bătrânilor cetăţii aceleia; ei să-l primească la ei în cetate şi să-i dea o locuinţă, ca să locuiască împreună cu ei.

He shall flee to one of these cities and shall stand at the entrance of the gate of the city and explain his case to the elders of that city. Then they shall take him into the city and give him a place, and he shall remain with them.

Ha pedig üldözi azt a vérbosszuló, ne adják ki a gyilkost az ő kezébe, mert nem szándékosan ölte meg felebarátját, és nem gyűlölte őt azelőtt.

Hogyha pedig kergeti azt a vérbosszúló, ki ne adják a gyilkost annak kezébe, mert nem szándékosan ölte meg az ő felebarátját, és nem gyűlölte ő azt annakelőtte.

And if the avenger of blood pursue after him, then they shall not deliver the slayer up into his hand; because he smote his neighbour unwittingly, and hated him not beforetime.

Dacă răzbunătorul sângelui îl va urmări, ei să nu dea pe ucigaş în mâinile lui; căci fără să vrea a omorât pe aproapele lui şi fără să-i fi fost vrăjmaş mai înainte.

And if the avenger of blood pursues him, they shall not give up the manslayer into his hand, because he struck his neighbor unknowingly, and did not hate him in the past.

Abban a városban lakjék mindaddig, amíg ítéletre nem állhat a gyülekezet elé, vagy amíg meg nem hal a főpap, aki abban az időben hivatalban lesz. Azután térjen vissza a gyilkos a maga városába és a maga házába; abba a városba, amelyből elmenekült.

És lakozzék abban a városban mindaddig, a míg ítéletre állhat a gyülekezet elé, a míg meghal a főpap, a ki abban az időben lesz, azután térjen vissza a gyilkos, és menjen haza az ő városába és az ő házába, abba a városba, a melyből elfutott vala.

And he shall dwell in that city, until he stand before the congregation for judgment, and until the death of the high priest that shall be in those days: then shall the slayer return, and come unto his own city, and unto his own house, unto the city from whence he fled.

El să rămână în cetatea aceasta până se va înfăţişa înaintea adunării ca să fie judecat, până la moartea marelui preot care va fi atunci în slujbă. Atunci, ucigaşul să se întoarcă şi să intre iarăşi în cetatea şi în casa lui, în cetatea de unde fugise.”

And he shall remain in that city until he has stood before the congregation for judgment, until the death of him who is high priest at the time. Then the manslayer may return to his own town and his own home, to the town from which he fled.’”

Így választották ki Kedest Galileában, Naftáli hegyén, Sikemet Efraim hegyén és Kirjat-Arbát, azaz Hebrónt Júda hegyén.

És kiválaszták Kedest Galileában a Nafthali hegyén, Sikemet az Efraim hegyén és Kirjáth-Arbát, azaz Hebront a Júda hegyén.

And they appointed Kedesh in Galilee in mount Naphtali, and Shechem in mount Ephraim, and Kirjatharba, which is Hebron, in the mountain of Judah.

Ei au pus deoparte Chedeşul, în Galileea, în muntele lui Neftali; Sihemul, în muntele lui Efraim; şi Chiriat-Arba, sau Hebronul, în muntele lui Iuda.

So they set apart Kedesh in Galilee in the hill country of Naphtali, and Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim, and Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron) in the hill country of Judah.

Túl a Jordánon pedig Jerikótól keletre kiválasztották Becert a pusztában, a síkságon Rúben nemzetségéből, Rámótot Gileádban Gád nemzetségéből és Gólánt Básánban Manassé nemzetségéből.

Túl a Jordánon pedig Jérikhótól napkelet felé választák Beczert a pusztában, a sík földön Rúben nemzetségéből; Rámothot Gileádban, a Gád nemzetségéből, és Gólánt Básánban a Manassé nemzetségéből.

And on the other side Jordan by Jericho eastward, they assigned Bezer in the wilderness upon the plain out of the tribe of Reuben, and Ramoth in Gilead out of the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan out of the tribe of Manasseh.

Şi de cealaltă parte a Iordanului, la răsăritul Ierihonului, a ales Beţerul, în pustiu, în câmpie, în seminţia lui Ruben; Ramot, în Galaad, în seminţia lui Gad; şi Golan, în Basan, în seminţia lui Manase.

And beyond the Jordan east of Jericho, they appointed Bezer in the wilderness on the tableland, from the tribe of Reuben, and Ramoth in Gilead, from the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan, from the tribe of Manasseh.

Ezek voltak az Izráel fiai és a köztük tartózkodó jövevények számára kijelölt városok, hogy odamenekülhessen mindenki, aki véletlenül öl meg valakit, és ne haljon meg a vérbosszuló keze által, amíg oda nem áll a gyülekezet elé.

Ezek voltak a meghatározott városok mind az Izráel fiainak, mind a jövevénynek, a ki közöttük tartózkodik vala, hogy oda szaladjon mindaz, a ki megöl valakit tévedésből, és meg ne haljon a vérbosszúlónak keze által, míg oda nem áll a gyülekezet elé.

These were the cities appointed for all the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them, that whosoever killeth any person at unawares might flee thither, and not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he stood before the congregation.

Acestea au fost cetăţile hotărâte pentru toţi copiii lui Israel şi pentru străinul care locuieşte în mijlocul lor, pentru ca cel ce va ucide pe cineva fără voie să poată fugi în ele şi să nu moară ucis de mâna răzbunătorului sângelui, înainte de a se înfăţişa înaintea adunării.

These were the cities designated for all the people of Israel and for the stranger sojourning among them, that anyone who killed a person without intent could flee there, so that he might not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, till he stood before the congregation.
