Jerikó pedig úgy be volt zárva Izráel fiai miatt, hogy se ki nem jöhetett, se be nem mehetett senki.

Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.

Ierihonul era închis şi întărit de teama copiilor lui Israel. Nimeni nu ieşea din el şi nimeni nu intra în el.

Now Jericho was shut up inside and outside because of the people of Israel. None went out, and none came in.

Az ÚR azt mondta Józsuénak: Lásd! Kezedbe adtam Jerikót és királyát a sereg harcosaival együtt.

És monda az Úr Józsuénak: Lásd! kezedbe adtam Jérikhót és királyát a sereg vitézeivel [együtt.]

And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.

Domnul a zis lui Iosua: „Iată, dau în mâinile tale Ierihonul şi pe împăratul lui, pe vitejii lui ostaşi.

And the LORD said to Joshua, “See, I have given Jericho into your hand, with its king and mighty men of valor.

Járjátok azért körül a várost, valamennyi harcos kerülje meg egyszer a várost. Így cselekedj hat napon át.

Azért járjátok körül a várost mind ti hadakozó emberek, megkerülvén egyszer a várost. Így cselekedjél hat napon át.

And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days.

Înconjuraţi cetatea, voi toţi bărbaţii de război, dând ocol cetăţii o dată. Aşa să faci şase zile.

You shall march around the city, all the men of war going around the city once. Thus shall you do for six days.

És hét pap vigyen hét, kosszarvból készült kürtöt a láda előtt. A hetedik napon pedig hétszer kerüljétek meg a várost, a papok pedig fújják meg a kürtöket.

És hét pap hordozzon hét kos-szarvból való kürtöt a láda előtt; a hetedik napon azonban hétszer kerüljétek meg a várost, a papok pedig kürtöljenek a kürtökkel.

And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.

Şapte preoţi să poarte înaintea chivotului şapte trâmbiţe de corn de berbec; în ziua a şaptea, să înconjuraţi cetatea de şapte ori, şi preoţii să sune din trâmbiţe.

Seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. On the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets.

És ha majd belefújnak a kosszarvba, mihelyt meghalljátok a kürt szavát, az egész nép harsány kiáltásban törjön ki, és magától leszakad a város kőfala, és fölmegy arra a nép, mindenki az előtte levő helyen.

És ha majd belefúnak a kos-szarvba, mihelyt meghalljátok a kürtnek szavát, kiáltson fel az egész nép nagy kiáltással, és leszakad a város kőfala magától, és felmegy arra a nép, kiki az előtte való helyen.

And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.

Când vor suna lung din cornul de berbec şi când veţi auzi sunetul trâmbiţei, tot poporul să scoată mari strigăte. Atunci zidul cetăţii se va prăbuşi, şi poporul să se suie, fiecare drept înainte.”

And when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, when you hear the sound of the trumpet, then all the people shall shout with a great shout, and the wall of the city will fall down flat, and the people shall go up, everyone straight before him.”

Előhívta azért Józsué, Nún fia a papokat, és azt mondta nekik: Vegyétek föl a szövetség ládáját, hét pap pedig vigyen hét, kosszarvból készült kürtöt az ÚR ládája előtt.

And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the LORD.

Iosua, fiul lui Nun, a chemat pe preoţi şi le-a zis: „Luaţi chivotul legământului, şi şapte preoţi să poarte cele şapte trâmbiţe de corn de berbec înaintea chivotului Domnului.”

So Joshua the son of Nun called the priests and said to them, “Take up the ark of the covenant and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the LORD.”

A népnek pedig ezt mondta: Menjetek, és kerüljétek meg a várost, a fegyveresek pedig menjenek az ÚR ládája előtt.

A népnek pedig monda: Menjetek el, és kerüljétek meg a várost, a fegyveresek pedig menjenek az Úr ládája előtt.

And he said unto the people, Pass on, and compass the city, and let him that is armed pass on before the ark of the LORD.

Şi a zis poporului: „Porniţi, înconjuraţi cetatea, şi bărbaţii înarmaţi să treacă înaintea chivotului Domnului.”

And he said to the people, “Go forward. March around the city and let the armed men pass on before the ark of the LORD.”

És úgy történt, ahogy Józsué megmondta a népnek. A hét pap ugyanis, aki a kosszarvból készült hét kürtöt vitte, az ÚR előtt ment, és kürtölt a kürtökkel, az ÚR szövetségládája pedig utánuk haladt.

És úgy lőn, a mint mondotta vala Józsué a népnek. A hét pap ugyanis, a kik a kos-szarvból való hét kürtöt vivék, az Úr előtt megy vala, és kürtölt vala a kürtökkel, az Úrnak frigyládája pedig utánok megy vala.

And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto the people, that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams' horns passed on before the LORD, and blew with the trumpets: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD followed them.

După ce a vorbit Iosua poporului, cei şapte preoţi care purtau înaintea Domnului cele şapte trâmbiţe de corn de berbec au pornit şi au sunat din trâmbiţe. Chivotul legământului Domnului mergea în urma lor.

And just as Joshua had commanded the people, the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the LORD went forward, blowing the trumpets, with the ark of the covenant of the LORD following them.

A fegyveresek a kürtölő papok előtt mentek, és az utóvéd követte őket folytonos kürtölés közben.

A fegyveresek pedig előttök mennek vala a kürtölő papoknak, és a köznép követi vala a ládát, menvén és kürtölvén kürtökkel.

And the armed men went before the priests that blew with the trumpets, and the rereward came after the ark, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.

Bărbaţii înarmaţi mergeau înaintea preoţilor care sunau din trâmbiţe, şi coada oştirii mergea după chivot; în timpul mersului, preoţii sunau din trâmbiţe.

The armed men were walking before the priests who were blowing the trumpets, and the rear guard was walking after the ark, while the trumpets blew continually.

A népnek pedig azt parancsolta Józsué: Ne kiáltsatok, hangotokat se hallassátok, egy szó se jöjjön ki a szátokból addig a napig, amíg azt nem mondom nektek: kiáltsatok; és akkor kiáltsatok.

A népnek pedig parancsolt vala Józsué, mondván: Ne kiáltsatok, hangotokat se hallassátok, és szó se jőjjön ki szátokból addig a napig, a míg azt mondom néktek: Kiáltsatok; és akkor kiáltsatok.

And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout.

Iosua dăduse porunca aceasta poporului: „Voi să nu strigaţi, să nu vi se audă glasul şi să nu vă iasă o vorbă din gură, până în ziua când vă voi spune: „Strigaţi!” Atunci să strigaţi.”

But Joshua commanded the people, “You shall not shout or make your voice heard, neither shall any word go out of your mouth, until the day I tell you to shout. Then you shall shout.”

Körüljárták azért az ÚR ládájával a várost. Egyszer kerülték meg, azután visszatértek a táborba, és az éjszakát a táborban töltötték.

Körüljárák azért az Úrnak ládájával a várost, egyszer megkerülvén; azután visszatérének a táborba, és az éjszakát a táborban tölték.

So the ark of the LORD compassed the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp.

Chivotul Domnului a înconjurat cetatea şi i-a dat ocol o dată; apoi au intrat în tabără şi au rămas în tabără peste noapte.

So he caused the ark of the LORD to circle the city, going about it once. And they came into the camp and spent the night in the camp.

Józsué korán reggel fölkelt, a papok pedig fölvették az ÚR ládáját.

Józsué pedig felkele jó reggel, és felvevék a papok az Úrnak ládáját.

And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the LORD.

Iosua s-a sculat cu noaptea în cap, şi preoţii au luat chivotul Domnului.

Then Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the LORD.

A hét pap, aki a kosszarvból készült hét kürtöt vitte, az ÚR ládája előtt ment, és folyton fújta a kürtöket, a fegyveresek pedig előttük mentek, és az utóvéd követte az ÚR ládáját folytonos kürtölés közben.

És a hét pap, a kik a kos-szarvból való hét kürtöt vivék, az Úr ládája előtt megy vala folyton, és kürtöl vala a kürtökkel, a fegyveresek pedig előttök mennek vala, és a köznép követi az Úrnak ládáját, menvén és kürtökkel kürtölvén.

And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the LORD went on continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rereward came after the ark of the LORD, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.

Cei şapte preoţi, care purtau cele şapte trâmbiţe de corn de berbec înaintea chivotului Domnului, au pornit şi au sunat din trâmbiţe. Bărbaţii înarmaţi mergeau înaintea lor, şi coada oştirii venea după chivotul Domnului; în timpul mersului, preoţii sunau din trâmbiţe.

And the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the LORD walked on, and they blew the trumpets continually. And the armed men were walking before them, and the rear guard was walking after the ark of the LORD, while the trumpets blew continually.

A második napon is megkerülték egyszer a várost, azután visszatértek a táborba. Így cselekedtek hat napon át.

A második napon is egyszer kerülék meg a várost, azután visszatérének a táborba. Így cselekedének hat napon át.

And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the camp: so they did six days.

Au înconjurat cetatea o dată, a doua zi; apoi s-au întors în tabără. Au făcut acelaşi lucru timp de şase zile.

And the second day they marched around the city once, and returned into the camp. So they did for six days.

A hetedik napon is fölkeltek hajnalhasadtával, és a szokott módon hétszer megkerülték a várost. Csak ezen a napon kerülték meg a várost hétszer.

És lőn a hetedik napon, hogy felkelének, mihelyt a hajnal feljöve, és megkerülék a várost a szokott módon hétszer; csak ezen a napon kerülék meg a várost hétszer.

And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times.

În ziua a şaptea, s-au sculat în zorii zilei şi au înconjurat în acelaşi fel cetatea de şapte ori; aceasta a fost singura zi când au înconjurat cetatea de şapte ori.

On the seventh day they rose early, at the dawn of day, and marched around the city in the same manner seven times. It was only on that day that they marched around the city seven times.

Amikor a hetedik forduláskor kürtöltek a papok a kürtökkel, Józsué azt mondta a népnek: Kiáltsatok, mert nektek adta az ÚR a várost!

És lőn, hogy a hetedik forduláskor kürtölnek vala a papok a kürtökkel, Józsué pedig monda a népnek: Kiáltsatok, mert néktek adta az Úr a várost!

And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city.

A şaptea oară, pe când preoţii sunau din trâmbiţe, Iosua a zis poporului: „Strigaţi, căci Domnul v-a dat cetatea în mână!

And at the seventh time, when the priests had blown the trumpets, Joshua said to the people, “Shout, for the LORD has given you the city.

És a város és minden, ami benne van, legyen teljesen az ÚRnak szentelve. Csak a parázna Ráháb maradjon életben, ő és mindazok, akik vele vannak a házban, mert elrejtette a követeket, akiket odaküldtünk.

És legyen a város maga, és minden, a mi benne van, teljesen az Úrnak szentelve; csak a parázna Ráháb maradjon életben, ő és mindazok, a kik vele vannak a házban, mert elrejtette a követeket, a kiket küldöttünk volt.

And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.

Cetatea să fie dată Domnului spre nimicire, ea şi tot ce se află în ea; dar să lăsaţi cu viaţă pe curva Rahav şi pe toţi cei ce vor fi cu ea în casă, pentru că a ascuns pe solii pe care-i trimiseserăm noi.

And the city and all that is within it shall be devoted to the LORD for destruction. Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in her house shall live, because she hid the messengers whom we sent.

Mindazáltal óvakodjatok a teljesen Istennek szentelt dolgoktól, hogy miután neki szentelitek, el ne vegyetek a teljesen neki szentelt dolgokból, hogy Izráel táborát átkozottá ne tegyétek és bajba ne keverjétek.

Mindazáltal ti óvjátok meg magatokat a teljesen [Istennek ] szentelt dolgoktól, hogy miután [néki] szentelitek, el ne vegyetek a teljesen [néki] szentelt dolgokból, hogy Izráel táborát átkozottá ne tegyétek, és bajba ne keverjétek azt.

And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.

Feriţi-vă numai de ceea ce va fi dat spre nimicire; căci dacă veţi lua ceva din ceea ce va fi dat spre nimicire, veţi face ca tabăra lui Israel să fie dată spre nimicire şi o veţi nenoroci.

But you, keep yourselves from the things devoted to destruction, lest when you have devoted them you take any of the devoted things and make the camp of Israel a thing for destruction and bring trouble upon it.

Hanem mivel minden ezüst-, arany-, réz- és vasedény az ÚRnak van szentelve, az ÚR kincsei közé jusson.

Hanem mivel minden ezüst- és arany-, meg réz- és vasedény az Úrnak van szentelve, az Úrnak kincse közé jusson.

But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the LORD: they shall come into the treasury of the LORD.

Tot argintul şi tot aurul, toate lucrurile de aramă şi de fier să fie închinate Domnului şi să intre în vistieria Domnului.”

But all silver and gold, and every vessel of bronze and iron, are holy to the LORD; they shall go into the treasury of the LORD.”

A nép pedig fölkiáltott, amint megszólaltak a kürtök. És ahogy meghallotta a nép a kürt szavát, és hangosan fölkiáltott, az történt, hogy magától leomlott a kőfal, és bement a nép a városba, mindenki az előtte levő helyen, és bevették a várost.

Kiálta azért a nép, mihelyt kürtölének a kürtökkel. Lőn ugyanis, a mint meghallá a nép a kürtnek szavát, kiálta a nép nagy kiáltással, és leszakada a kőfal magától, és felméne a nép a városba, kiki az előtte való helyen, és bevevék a várost.

So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

Poporul a scos strigăte, şi preoţii au sunat din trâmbiţe. Când a auzit poporul sunetul trâmbiţei, a strigat tare, şi zidul s-a prăbuşit; poporul s-a suit în cetate, fiecare drept înainte. Au pus mâna pe cetate

So the people shouted, and the trumpets were blown. As soon as the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they captured the city.

Fegyver élével teljesen kipusztítottak mindent, ami csak volt a városban, a férfitól az asszonyig, a gyermektől az öregig, sőt az ökröt, a juhot és a szamarat is.

És teljesen kipusztítának mindent, a mi csak vala a városban, a férfitól az asszonyig, a gyermektől az öregig, sőt az ökörig, juhig és a szamárig, fegyver élivel.

And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword.

şi au nimicit-o cu desăvârşire, trecând prin ascuţişul sabiei tot ce era în cetate, bărbaţi şi femei, copii şi bătrâni, până la boi, oi şi măgari.

Then they devoted all in the city to destruction, both men and women, young and old, oxen, sheep, and donkeys, with the edge of the sword.

A két férfinak pedig, akik kikémlelték a földet, azt mondta Józsué: Menjetek be a parázna asszony házába, és hozzátok ki onnan az asszonyt és mindazt, amije van, ahogy megesküdtetek neki.

A két férfiúnak pedig, a kik megkémlelték vala a földet, monda Józsué: Menjetek be a parázna asszonynak házába és hozzátok ki onnét az asszonyt és mindazt, a mije van, a miképen megesküdtetek néki.

But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, Go into the harlot's house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she hath, as ye sware unto her.

Iosua a zis celor doi bărbaţi care iscodiseră ţara: „Intraţi în casa curvei şi scoateţi din ea pe femeia aceea şi pe toţi ai ei, cum i-aţi jurat.”

But to the two men who had spied out the land, Joshua said, “Go into the prostitute’s house and bring out from there the woman and all who belong to her, as you swore to her.”

Bementek azért a kémkedő ifjak, és kihozták Ráhábot és atyját, anyját és testvéreit, mindazt, amije volt, és minden cselédjét is kihozták, és Izráel táborán kívülre helyezték őket.

Bemenének azért a kémlő ifjak, és kihozák Ráhábot, és az ő atyját, anyját és az ő atyjafiait, és mindazt, a mije vala, és minden cselédjét is kihozák, és helyezék őket Izráel táborán kivül.

And the young men that were spies went in, and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Israel.

Tinerii, iscoadele, au intrat şi au scos pe Rahav, pe tatăl ei, pe mama ei, pe fraţii ei şi pe toţi ai ei; au scos afară pe toţi cei din familia ei şi i-au aşezat afară din tabăra lui Israel.

So the young men who had been spies went in and brought out Rahab and her father and mother and brothers and all who belonged to her. And they brought all her relatives and put them outside the camp of Israel.

A várost pedig és mindazt, ami benne volt, tűzzel égették meg. Csak az ezüstöt, az aranyat és a réz- és vasedényeket rakták az ÚR házának kincsei közé.

A várost pedig megégeték tűzzel, és mind azt, a mi benne vala; csakis az ezüstöt és aranyat és a réz- és vasedényeket rakták az Úr házának kincsei közé.

And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD.

Cetatea au ars-o împreună cu tot ce se afla în ea; numai argintul, aurul şi toate lucrurile de aramă şi de fier le-au pus în vistieria Casei Domnului.

And they burned the city with fire, and everything in it. Only the silver and gold, and the vessels of bronze and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD.

A parázna Ráhábot pedig és atyja háznépét és mindenét, amije volt, élni hagyta Józsué; ott is lakik Izráel között mind e mai napig. Mert elrejtette a követeket, akiket Józsué küldött, hogy kémleljék ki Jerikót.

A parázna Ráhábot pedig, és az ő atyjának háznépét és mindenét, a mije vala, élni hagyta vala Józsué, és ott lakik az Izráel között mind e mai napig; mert elrejtette vala a követeket, a kiket küldött volt Józsué, hogy kikémleljék Jérikhót.

And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father's household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.

Iosua a lăsat cu viaţă pe curva Rahav, casa tatălui ei şi pe toţi ai ei; ea a locuit în mijlocul lui Israel până în ziua de azi, pentru că ascunsese solii pe care-i trimisese Iosua să iscodească Ierihonul.

But Rahab the prostitute and her father’s household and all who belonged to her, Joshua saved alive. And she has lived in Israel to this day, because she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.

Azon a napon ezt az esküt tette Józsué: Átkozott legyen az ÚR előtt az a férfi, aki nekilát, hogy fölépítse ezt a várost, Jerikót! Elsőszülöttjére rakja le annak alapját, és legkisebb fiára állítsa föl kapuit!

És átkot szóla Józsué azon a napon, mondván: Átkozott legyen az Úr előtt az a férfiú, a ki felkél, hogy megépítse e várost, Jérikhót! Az ő első szülöttjére rakja le annak alapját s legifjabb fiára állítsa fel annak kapuit!

And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.

Atunci a jurat Iosua şi a zis: „Blestemat să fie înaintea Domnului omul care se va scula să zidească din nou cetatea aceasta a Ierihonului! Cu preţul întâiului său născut îi va pune temeliile şi cu preţul celui mai tânăr fiu al lui îi va aşeza porţile!”

Joshua laid an oath on them at that time, saying, “Cursed before the LORD be the man who rises up and rebuilds this city, Jericho. “At the cost of his firstborn shall he lay its foundation, and at the cost of his youngest son shall he set up its gates.”

És az ÚR Józsuéval volt, és elterjedt a híre az egész földön.

És vala az Úr Józsuéval, és lőn híre az egész földön.

So the LORD was with Joshua; and his fame was noised throughout all the country.

Domnul a fost cu Iosua şi i s-a dus vestea în toată ţara.

So the LORD was with Joshua, and his fame was in all the land.
