Amikor meghallotta az emóriak összes királya, akik a Jordántól nyugat felé laknak, és a kánaániak összes királya, akik a tenger mellett laknak, hogy kiszárította az ÚR a Jordán vizét Izráel fiai előtt, amíg átkeltek, megolvadt a szívük, és elakadt még a lélegzetük is Izráel fiai miatt.

Lőn pedig, a mint meghallák az Emoreusok minden királyai, a kik a Jordánon túl laknak napnyugot felé, és a Kananeusok minden királyai, a kik a tenger mellett laknak vala, hogy kiszáraztotta az Úr a Jordánnak vizét az Izráel fiai előtt, a míg általjöttünk vala; megolvada az ő szívök, és nem vala többé bátorság bennök Izráel fiai miatt.

And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, which were on the side of Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, which were by the sea, heard that the LORD had dried up the waters of Jordan from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the children of Israel.

Când au auzit toţi împăraţii amoriţilor de la apusul Iordanului, şi toţi împăraţii canaaniţilor de lângă mare că Domnul secase apele Iordanului înaintea copiilor lui Israel până am trecut, li s-a tăiat inima şi au rămas îngroziţi înaintea copiilor lui Israel.

As soon as all the kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan to the west, and all the kings of the Canaanites who were by the sea, heard that the LORD had dried up the waters of the Jordan for the people of Israel until they had crossed over, their hearts melted and there was no longer any spirit in them because of the people of Israel.

Ebben az időben mondta az ÚR Józsuénak: Csinálj kőkéseket, és másodszor is metéltesd körül Izráel fiait.

Ez időben monda az Úr Józsuénak: Csinálj magadnak kőkéseket, és másodszor is metéld körül az Izráel fiait.

At that time the LORD said unto Joshua, Make thee sharp knives, and circumcise again the children of Israel the second time.

În vremea aceea, Domnul a zis lui Iosua: „Fă-ţi nişte cuţite de piatră şi taie împrejur pe copiii lui Israel, a doua oară.”

At that time the LORD said to Joshua, “Make flint knives and circumcise the sons of Israel a second time.”

Erre Józsué kőkéseket csinált, és körülmetélte Izráel fiait az Arálót-halmon.

És csinála Józsué magának kőkéseket, és körülmetélé Izráel fiait a körülmetéletlenség halmán.

And Joshua made him sharp knives, and circumcised the children of Israel at the hill of the foreskins.

Iosua şi-a făcut nişte cuţite de piatră şi a tăiat împrejur pe copiii lui Israel pe dealul Aralot.

So Joshua made flint knives and circumcised the sons of Israel at Gibeath-haaraloth.

Az ok pedig, amiért körülmetélte őket Józsué, ez: mindazok, akik kijöttek Egyiptomból, a férfiak, a harcosok mindnyájan meghaltak a pusztában útközben, miután kijöttek Egyiptomból.

Az ok pedig, a miért körülmetélé őket Józsué, ez: Mindaz a nép, a mely kijött vala Égyiptomból; a férfiak, a hadakozó emberek mindnyájan meghaltak vala a pusztában, útközben, a míg jöttek vala Égyiptomból.

And this is the cause why Joshua did circumcise: All the people that came out of Egypt, that were males, even all the men of war, died in the wilderness by the way, after they came out of Egypt.

Iată pricina pentru care i-a tăiat Iosua împrejur. Tot poporul ieşit din Egipt, bărbaţii, toţi oamenii de luptă muriseră în pustiu, pe drum, după ieşirea lor din Egipt.

And this is the reason why Joshua circumcised them: all the males of the people who came out of Egypt, all the men of war, had died in the wilderness on the way after they had come out of Egypt.

Mert körül volt ugyan metélve az egész nép, amely kijött, de azt a népet, amely a pusztában született, útközben, amíg vonultak Egyiptomból, nem metélték körül.

Mert körül volt ugyan metélve mindaz a nép, a mely kijött vala; de azt a népet, a mely a pusztában született, útközben, a míg jöttek vala Égyiptomból, nem metélték vala körül;

Now all the people that came out were circumcised: but all the people that were born in the wilderness by the way as they came forth out of Egypt, them they had not circumcised.

Tot poporul acela ieşit din Egipt era tăiat împrejur; dar tot poporul născut în pustiu, pe drum, după ieşirea din Egipt, nu fusese tăiat împrejur.

Though all the people who came out had been circumcised, yet all the people who were born on the way in the wilderness after they had come out of Egypt had not been circumcised.

Mert negyven esztendeig jártak Izráel fiai a pusztában, és ezalatt valamennyi hadakozó férfi elpusztult, aki kijött Egyiptomból, mivel nem hallgattak az ÚR szavára. Megesküdött nekik az ÚR, hogy nem látják meg azt a földet, amelyről megesküdött az ÚR az ő atyáiknak, hogy nekik adja azt a tejjel és mézzel folyó földet.

Mert negyven esztendeig jártak Izráel fiai a pusztában, mialatt elemészteték a hadakozó férfiaknak egész népsége, a kik Égyiptomból jöttek vala ki, mivelhogy nem hallgattak vala az Úr szavára; a kiknek megesküdt az Úr, hogy nem láttatja meg velök a földet, a mely felől megesküdt vala az Úr az ő atyáiknak, hogy nékünk adja azt a tejjel és mézzel folyó földet.

For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: unto whom the LORD sware that he would not shew them the land, which the LORD sware unto their fathers that he would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

Căci copiii lui Israel umblaseră patruzeci de ani prin pustiu până la nimicirea întregului neam de oameni de război care ieşiseră din Egipt şi care nu ascultaseră de glasul Domnului. Domnul le-a jurat că nu-i va lăsa să vadă ţara pe care jurase părinţilor lor că ne-o va da, ţară în care curge lapte şi miere.

For the people of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, until all the nation, the men of war who came out of Egypt, perished, because they did not obey the voice of the LORD; the LORD swore to them that he would not let them see the land that the LORD had sworn to their fathers to give to us, a land flowing with milk and honey.

Fiaikat azonban, akiket a helyükre állított, körülmetélte Józsué. Mert körülmetéletlenek voltak, mivel útközben nem metélték körül őket.

Fiaikat állította vala azért helyökbe, ezeket metélé körül Józsué, mert körülmetéletlenek valának, mivelhogy nem metélék vala körül őket az útban.

And their children, whom he raised up in their stead, them Joshua circumcised: for they were uncircumcised, because they had not circumcised them by the way.

În locul lor a ridicat pe copiii lor; şi Iosua i-a tăiat împrejur, căci erau netăiaţi împrejur, pentru că nu-i tăiaseră împrejur pe drum.

So it was their children, whom he raised up in their place, that Joshua circumcised. For they were uncircumcised, because they had not been circumcised on the way.

Miután pedig az egész népet körülmetélték, a helyükön vesztegeltek a táborban, amíg meggyógyultak.

Miután pedig mind az egész nép körülmetéltetett vala, veszteg lőnek az ő helyökön a táborban, míglen meggyógyulának.

And it came to pass, when they had done circumcising all the people, that they abode in their places in the camp, till they were whole.

După ce a isprăvit de tăiat împrejur pe tot poporul, au rămas pe loc în tabără până la vindecare.

When the circumcising of the whole nation was finished, they remained in their places in the camp until they were healed.

Ekkor azt mondta az ÚR Józsuénak: Ma fordítottam el rólatok Egyiptom gyalázatát. Ezért hívják e helyet Gilgálnak mind a mai napig.

És monda az Úr Józsuénak: Ma fordítottam el rólatok Égyiptom gyalázatát; ezért hívják e hely nevét Gilgálnak mind a mai napig.

And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day.

Domnul a zis lui Iosua: „Astăzi, am ridicat ocara Egiptului de deasupra voastră.” Şi locului aceluia i-au pus numele Ghilgal până în ziua de azi.

And the LORD said to Joshua, “Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.” And so the name of that place is called Gilgal to this day.

Gilgálban táboroztak Izráel fiai, és elkészítették a páskát Jerikó mezején a hónap tizennegyedik napján este.

És Gilgálban táborozának Izráel fiai, és megkészíték a páskhát a hónapnak tizennegyedik napján, estve, Jérikhónak mezején.

And the children of Israel encamped in Gilgal, and kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the month at even in the plains of Jericho.

Copiii lui Israel au tăbărât la Ghilgal; şi au prăznuit Paştile în a paisprezecea zi a lunii, spre seară, în câmpia Ierihonului.

While the people of Israel were encamped at Gilgal, they kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month in the evening on the plains of Jericho.

A páska második napján, még aznap kovásztalan kenyeret és pörkölt gabonát ettek a föld terméséből.

És evének a föld terméséből a páskhának másodnapján kovásztalan kenyeret és pörkölt gabonát, ugyanezen a napon.

And they did eat of the old corn of the land on the morrow after the passover, unleavened cakes, and parched corn in the selfsame day.

A doua zi de Paşti au mâncat din grâul ţării, azime şi boabe prăjite; chiar în ziua aceea au mâncat.

And the day after the Passover, on that very day, they ate of the produce of the land, unleavened cakes and parched grain.

A következő naptól, hogy ettek a föld terméséből, megszűnt a manna, és nem volt többé mannája Izráel fiainak, hanem Kánaán földjének gyümölcséből ettek abban az esztendőben.

És másnaptól kezdve, hogy ettek vala a föld terméséből, megszűnék a manna, és nem volt többé mannájok az Izráel fiainak; hanem Kanaán földének gyümölcséből evének abban az esztendőben.

And the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.

Mana a încetat a doua zi de Paşti, când au mâncat din grâul ţării. Copiii lui Israel n-au mai avut mană, ci au mâncat din roadele ţării Canaanului în anul acela.

And the manna ceased the day after they ate of the produce of the land. And there was no longer manna for the people of Israel, but they ate of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.

Amikor Józsué Jerikónál volt, fölemelte szemét, és látta, hogy íme, egy férfi áll előtte kivont karddal a kezében. Józsué odament hozzá, és megkérdezte tőle: Közülünk való vagy-e, vagy ellenségeink közül?

Lőn pedig, a mikor Józsué Jérikhónál vala, felemelé az ő szemeit, és látá, hogy íme egy férfiú áll vala előtte meztelen karddal kezében. És hozzá méne Józsué, és monda néki: Közülünk való vagy-é te, vagy ellenségeink közül?

And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?

Pe când Iosua era lângă Ierihon, a ridicat ochii şi s-a uitat. Şi iată că un om stătea în picioare înaintea lui, cu sabia scoasă din teacă în mână. Iosua s-a dus spre el şi i-a zis: „Eşti dintre ai noştri sau dintre vrăjmaşii noştri?”

When Joshua was by Jericho, he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing before him with his drawn sword in his hand. And Joshua went to him and said to him, “Are you for us, or for our adversaries?”

Ő pedig mondta: Nem, mert én az ÚR seregének vezére vagyok, most jöttem. Ekkor Józsué arccal a földre borult előtte, meghajolt, és ezt mondta neki: Mit akar mondani az én Uram az ő szolgájának?

Az pedig monda: Nem, mert én az Úr seregének fejedelme vagyok, most jöttem. És leborula Józsué a földre arczczal, és meghajtá magát, és monda néki: Mit szól az én Uram az ő szolgájának?

And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant?

El a răspuns: „Nu, ci Eu sunt Căpetenia oştirii Domnului, şi acum am venit.” Iosua s-a aruncat cu faţa la pământ, s-a închinat şi I-a zis: „Ce spune Domnul meu robului Său?”

And he said, “No; but I am the commander of the army of the LORD. Now I have come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped and said to him, “What does my lord say to his servant?”

Az ÚR seregének a vezére azt mondta Józsuénak: Oldd le sarudat a lábadról, mert szent az a hely, amelyen állsz. És Józsué úgy cselekedett.

És monda az Úr seregének fejedelme Józsuénak: Oldd le a te saruidat lábaidról, mert szent a hely, a melyen állasz. És úgy cselekedék Józsué.

And the captain of the LORD's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

Şi Căpetenia oştirii Domnului a zis lui Iosua: „Scoate-ţi încălţămintea din picioare, căci locul pe care stai este sfânt.” Şi Iosua a făcut aşa.

And the commander of the LORD’s army said to Joshua, “Take off your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.
